  1. Good morning. Grab your Bible.

  2. We're going to be in Daniel chapter 2 in the Book of Daniel

Daniel 2 chapter mention Daniel 2 chapter mention

  3. chapter 2. We're taking a little bit of a

  4. break from our series. We've wrapped the prayer series

  5. up a few weeks back. You remember Adrian and

  6. Antoinette Quinn Levin were here straight after this.

  7. And then we had Tony and Cath Rainbow last weekend and next

  8. weekend we got Ray Bevan in the house.

  9. So in this gap, I want to do something a little bit

  10. different. I want to actually, I would love

  11. to do some housekeeping and here's why.

  12. I don't know if it's because of coffee or conversations or

  13. coincidences, but it just seems like everywhere I go, we are up

  14. against it taking strain in the trenches.

  15. It feels like whether it be the enemy encircling us and taking

  16. shots or whether just be the year that's gotten long and

  17. weary, it seems like we need a bit of a breather, need some

  18. space, need to anchor ourselves somewhere in the middle of these

  19. storms of the tail end of 2024. And So what I want to do today

  20. is I want to take this chapter in the book of Daniel and I want

  21. to present it to you, unpack a little bit for you to use as an

  22. anchor for your soul at the moment.

  23. Maybe a framework to fight this fight that you're fighting to

  24. face the impossible to slay your Goliath and trust that God would

  25. use this as we we see our 2024 that we see it with hope in our

  26. hearts, with faith in our step and and victory under our belts.

  27. So to set the context for you, let me read through the first

  28. few verses of Daniel chapter 2. Hope you've gotten there by now,

    Daniel 2 chapter mention

  29. but it says this in verse one. It says in the second year of

  30. his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams.

  31. Now Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon.

  32. The Babylonians had basically descended on Israel, taken them

  33. into exile, and now they're in a foreign context.

  34. And this king had dreams. His mind was troubled and he

  35. could not sleep. So the king summoned the

  36. magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and astrologers to

  37. tell him what he had dreamed. So this is a wicked nation led

  38. by a wicked king, surrounded by wicked counsel.

  39. Some Bible translations have it as necromancers and those

  40. dealing in the occult, magicians, enchanters, sorcerers

  41. and those who go to The Sunday Times to look for what?

  42. What is up for those who are Sagittarius for the weak?

  43. Yeah, stop it, it's stupid. When they came in and stood

  44. before the king, he said to them, I've had a dream that

  45. troubles me and I want to know what it means.

  46. No problem. Verse 4.

  47. Then the astrologers answered the king.

  48. May the king live forever. Tell your servants the dream and

  49. we'll interpret it. So, the king replied to the

  50. astrologers. This is what I firmly decided.

  51. If you do not tell me what my dream was and interpret it, I'll

  52. have you cut into pieces and your house is turned into piles

  53. of rubble. Not so good.

  54. Yeah, but if you tell me the dream and explain it, you will

  55. receive from me gifts and rewards and great honour.

  56. So tell me the dream and interpret it for me.

  57. Once more, they replied. Let the king tell his servants

  58. the dream and we'll interpret it.

  59. And the king answered verse 8. I'm certain that you're trying

  60. to gain time because you realize that this is what I firmly

  61. decided. If you do not tell me the dream,

  62. there is only one penalty for you, which is essentially

  63. certain death. You've conspired to tell me

  64. misleading and wicked things hoping the situation will

  65. change. So then tell me the dream and

  66. I'll know what you can interpret that you can interpret it for

  67. me. So that's, that's the context.

  68. OK. That's the impossible.

  69. Daniel's department has been asked not just to interpret the

  70. dream, but to tell the dream. But now I want to show you the

  71. crux of the crisis. What Daniel does here in verse

  72. 10 and verse 28 is he basically bookends the crisis on one side.

  73. Verse 10 says the astronomer astrologers answer the king.

  74. There is no one on earth that can do what the king is asked.

  75. That's on this side. And if you page to verse 28 on

  76. the other side. But Daniel said there is a God

  77. in heaven who reveals mysteries. So that's the juxtaposition.

  78. That is what your crisis is asking of you.

  79. Where do you turn? There's no one on earth.

  80. Or do you turn to the God of heaven who reveals mysteries?

  81. And so he goes on to say, verse 12, this made the king so angry

  82. and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men of

  83. Babylon. So the decree was issued to put

  84. the wise men to death. And I notice there says a

  85. decree, A decree in the ancient Near East was an unchangeable

  86. law, absolute in its conditions. OK.

  87. This is not what you do with your children.

  88. I'm going to count to 3122 and a half, two and a bit more than

  89. 1/2. No, no, this is a decree.

  90. OK, stop that. That's also stupid.

  91. So the decree was issued to put the wise men to death.

  92. And men were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to put

  93. them to death. OK.

  94. That's Daniel's impossible. You've got to tell me what I

  95. dream. I've dreamed.

  96. You also have to interpret it or I kill you.

  97. I kill you dead. What's?

  98. Yeah. Stop here, Lucy.

  99. What's your impossible? What's your impossible?

  100. Because I think of the last few weeks, I've heard all of them.

  101. I seriously do not want to go to hospital again.

  102. I've been there more times than I can count over the last two

  103. weeks. I don't need to know what the

  104. technique is to put in a stent and the fact that we're talking

  105. about potential heart failure and the results of stroke.

  106. What's your impossible? Maybe it's the doctor's report.

  107. Maybe they said to you, OK, you need to start tending to your

  108. bucket list. Maybe it's business.

  109. Maybe your boss is impossible. Maybe you've also been asked to

  110. interpret dreams. You don't know what's going on

  111. in his heart, but you just expect it to perform.

  112. Maybe it's finances. Maybe you issued divorce papers.

  113. Maybe you live with an alcoholic and it's impossible at home.

  114. Maybe you're the alcoholic and you don't know how to get out of

  115. this addiction that you carry. Or maybe you're the problem.

  116. It's such a mess and you don't know how to clean up this mess.

  117. It's impossible. Or maybe it's all of the above.

  118. Maybe you've just been run ragged.

  119. You're here feeling like you've been.

  120. That's that's my 2024. It feels like in run ragged.

  121. You know, when the the Titanic sank in 1912, it wasn't a head

  122. on collision with an iceberg. They say that it was a sequence

  123. of small slits that sank the Titanic, none bigger than a

  124. child's hand. It would have been fine if it

  125. was 2-3, maybe 4 slits, but when it became the 5th slit and then

  126. the 6th slit, then it was man down, game over.

  127. And that's how the enemy operates.

  128. It's just a death by 1000 paper cuts, Just.

  129. Oh, and then it's this. And you know, it doesn't rain.

  130. It pours. It's just the next one and the

  131. next one and the next issue. And you're just trying to cope

  132. with this. And then there's another order.

  133. And then your design team absolutely botches the job.

  134. And then your husband comes home and you can tell that there's

  135. something wrong and slit after slit, and you just run ragged.

  136. And you say it's impossible. One more and I'm done.

  137. When we take a look at Daniel chapter 2, I think it's it's

    Daniel 2 chapter mention

  138. descriptive, but it's also prescriptive.

  139. You know, the Bible says in one Corinthians 10, it says these

  140. things happen to them as examples for us talking about

  141. what happened in the Old Testament.

  142. These things happen to them as examples for us and we're

  143. written down for our instruction.

  144. So I want you to take a look at Daniel chapter 2 as a lens to

    Daniel 2 chapter mention

  145. process the impossible that you might be facing.

  146. Because what you'll find when you do that is 4 things that

  147. Daniel teaches us about pray, presence, people and praise.

  148. Pray, presence, people and praise.

  149. Now I know we've done a lot on pray, but there's something that

  150. I want to raise here that for me has absolutely blown me away.

  151. Verse 14, pray when Arioch, a really cool name for your son,

  152. when Arioch, the command of the King's God, had gone out to put

  153. to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him

  154. with wisdom and tact. Now we're looking at prayer and

  155. he's saying, well, there's no prayer in there.

  156. So let me show you what I believe is actually going on

  157. that that leads up to this moment where Daniel can come to

  158. the guy who has come to execute him and deal with him with, with

  159. wisdom and tact. Jump across to Colossians

    Colossians 1 chapter mention

  160. chapter 1 and you find this pause was your writing to the

  161. church in Colossae and he writes the following.

  162. He says for this reason, since the day we heard about you, day

  163. we heard that you were saved, day that you'd join the church,

  164. he said we have not stopped praying for you.

  165. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His

  166. will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit

  167. gives. It's the same phrase, just in

  168. Greek, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and

  169. please him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work,

  170. growing in the knowledge of Him. So this is a prayer that Paul

  171. prays when every single day we have not stopped praying for

  172. you. Now what if I told you that ever

  173. since reading this during our prayer series, I've not stopped

  174. praying for you? 3 CR not just Lord help 3 CR

  175. Lord be there when they're making business decisions.

  176. I have been praying and continually asking God to fill

  177. you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and

  178. understanding that the spirit gifts.

  179. I think that's where the the sermon.

  180. If anyone lacks wisdom and let him ask was birth because I've

  181. been praying that very verse so that you may live a life worthy

  182. of the Lord. I want you to live a life worthy

  183. of the Lord and please him in every way, bearing fruit in

  184. every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.

  185. I've prayed this day after day after day.

  186. I've prayed for you 3 CR by name, being strengthened with

  187. all power according to his glorious might so that you may

  188. have great endurance and patience.

  189. And I've been in ICU praying that you would have endurance

  190. and patience. And I've raised that because in

  191. exactly the same way that this verse has captured my prayer

  192. list and my prayers for you. When you look at the book of

  193. Daniel, you see he did exactly the same.

  194. Not in Colossians because it hadn't been written yet, but the

  195. Bible scholars say when you look at the 1st 6 chapters of Daniel,

  196. you see the fingerprints of his prayer life, not just praise,

  197. but praying scripture. And they say in there, actually

  198. in that 2nd chapter of Daniel, we see him praying Jeremiah 33,

  199. verse three that says the following call to me and I will

  200. answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things.

  201. You do not know. I do not know what he dreamt.

  202. I do not know what to counsel a king in a foreign land as an

  203. exile. And he has been praying this

  204. verse. He's also been praying Genesis

    Genesis 40:8

  205. 40 verse 8, which is where Joseph stands before Pharaoh and

  206. says do not interpretations belong to God.

  207. And I highlight that because what Daniel has done when you

  208. start digging in there is actually nothing new.

  209. What I've done in looking at Colossians 19 is nothing new.

  210. Actually, from the very first pages of Scripture, we find the

  211. bedrock of praying Scripture. And here's why.

  212. You know, in the beginning God says let there be light and

  213. there was light. Well then cloth, if you look at

  214. the original Hebrew, it doesn't say and God said let there be

  215. light and an Angel quickly switched on the light.

  216. God spoke and there was light. OK, why is that?

  217. Why did God not do anything? Get together a whole bunch of

  218. materials. Here's the reason why, because

  219. God never creates apart from speaking, which means that God

  220. creates through speaking. You could say God creates

  221. through His word, which is why from the days of old the Saints

  222. would take God's word because they saw God's word as an agent,

  223. a creating agent, an agent of His power.

  224. And so by praying Scripture, essentially what they would do

  225. is they would take the presence, the power, and the purpose of

  226. God and bring it into their problem through pray.

  227. And that is what we see Daniel do.

  228. That is what I have seen when it comes to a fruitfulness in

  229. praying Scripture because there's power in His Word.

  230. The Word is God. In the beginning was the Word

  231. and the Word was God. And by praying Scripture, what

  232. we see and what Daniel saw is that you allow this power, the

  233. power of his word and his promises and his purposes and

  234. most importantly his presence. You bring that to bear on your

  235. impossible. So a few weeks ago I got a phone

  236. call from a friend of mine. He said, listen, we got to do

  237. coffee. I want to chat to you about my

  238. impossible. So we did that and he told me a

  239. story. He said a few years back when he

  240. was first in three CR when we were still a tense and we were

  241. sort of facing that direction. He said the sermon had ended.

  242. He's busy gathering up his stuff.

  243. And the guy next to him made a very random comment.

  244. He said, listen, but I really think you need to study nuclear

  245. physics. And he was like, he was doing

  246. his B commerce, something like a nuclear physics.

  247. And he turned to the guy next to him, and there was no one there.

  248. And he sort of got a little cold, like, yo, what?

  249. Is that clear as day? Then he started doubting it.

  250. And anyway, one thing led to another.

  251. Eventually he did do that. He followed up and started

  252. studying nuclear physics. And in 2020, when he was doing

  253. his doctorates and going on to his PhD, God gave him a dream.

  254. And in his words, the dream answered a 100 year question.

  255. It has to do with particle acceleration, I'll tell you.

  256. But you wouldn't understand it anyway because I didn't

  257. understand it either. I kept saying, OK, just just one

  258. a little. OK, So if I understand, he said,

  259. listen, bud, it takes me about an hour to get people in the

  260. industry up to speed. So he said, don't worry, if

  261. you're from the bluff, you don't stand a chance.

  262. So he was drawing me pictures. True story anyway.

  263. But here's the thing. This is what I learned using

  264. this particle accelerator, the framework that God gave him in

  265. the dream. He's now able to produce energy,

  266. net positive, clean nuclear power and a couple things there.

  267. I was reading his white paper. It requires no enriched fuel.

  268. It doesn't create any bomb fuel as a side thing.

  269. So it's, it's lovely, it's safe, it's clean.

  270. Not only is it safe, but it's small.

  271. So what God showed him, I don't know if you know this, but the

  272. the Hadron Collider in Geneva takes 27 kilometers.

  273. It's this 27 kilometer loop to get the particles up to speed.

  274. Because basically how it works, the way I understand it, if you

  275. take a ball bearing and a rock, you've got to throw that ball

  276. bearing really, really hard to chip the rock and get the atoms

  277. and the protons off when it comes to nuclear fusion.

  278. And so they take 27 kilometers to do this.

  279. But what God showed him takes a couple meters, which means you

  280. don't have to buy three CIS property and all the land around

  281. it to make energy. You can convert 1 of your

  282. garages into one of these units that produces a MW of energy.

  283. So I'm like, you know, South Africa's got an energy problem.

  284. Surely maybe is this is this impossible that you just can't

  285. get their attention said no, no, no, I've presented it to them.

  286. He doesn't know if it's corruption or coal, but they're

  287. just sort of like very hands or fish.

  288. And I said to him, but this should be able to solve a

  289. crisis. He said, you, you want to know

  290. how long it would take to solve South Africa's energy crisis?

  291. You don't want to hazard a guess.

  292. I'm like 10 years, 22 months, 22 months.

  293. But South Africa doesn't really want anything to do with it.

  294. So I said, what's the impossible?

  295. What is it that you're facing? Why are you here?

  296. Said well, because he's been approached by many nations who

  297. do with deep pockets said, but they are notoriously malevolent.

  298. And he said, I don't know. Can I give this gift that God

  299. gave me into those hands? And then he said, what do I do?

  300. Hey puppy, now you outside of my authority.

  301. And I know there are churches and there are pastors and there

  302. are elders. So come kiss the ring and I'll

  303. tell you what God says, but that is not our authority.

  304. My authority, as his friend and as his elder said to him, bring

  305. those well worn portions of scripture where God has shown

  306. you something of the footprints of your future.

  307. My responsibility is to teach you how to discern the voice of

  308. God and discern how He is leading you.

  309. And once you know, then let me teach you how to take that in

  310. prayer and unlock the presence and the power and the purpose of

  311. God in your impossible. Daniel shows us this.

  312. Saints of old show us this. And I really pray that you would

  313. see this for yourself. Because when we're at that

  314. space, then God can entrust a particle accelerator into our

  315. hands, knowing that all we're going to do is put it back in

  316. his hands and say, Father, would you show us how to navigate

  317. through enemy lines? So pray presence people, praise.

  318. What about presence? Verse 16 At this Daniel went

  319. into the king and asked for time so that he might interpret the

  320. dream for him. In my Bible, I've underlined

  321. Daniel went into the king. If it was at this time Stephen,

  322. it would be at this time. Stephen grabbed WhatsApp and

  323. started whinging to all his friends.

  324. Steven opened TikTok or created an app called Toy Toy.

  325. But Daniel went to the king. Tell you that could be a word

  326. from God for you today because speak to your boss.

  327. Take your husband out on a date. Daniel went to the king.

  328. The Collegian Employment Research Institute recently did

  329. a study on Gen. Z or Gen.

  330. Z. Gen.

  331. Z sounds cooler. Gen.

  332. Z is the age group between about 1314 and 27.

  333. And so they did a study recently, the Collegian

  334. Employment Research Institute. Because some of the older Gen.

  335. Z's are now starting to work and they're wanting to know how were

  336. they interacting with a modern workplace.

  337. Here's some of the things they discovered. 40% of Gen.

  338. Z's parents obtained the job info for their kids. 31% of the

  339. same parents submitted. CVS for their kids. 26% of Gen.

  340. Z's parents advocated on behalf of their kids to get the job,

  341. 15% complained if said child did not get the job, and a shocking

  342. 4% attended the interview with their child.

  343. This too is stupid. Stop it.

  344. Daniel went into the king. Mommy, if you go into the king

  345. you are robbing this next generation of generals of the

  346. faith. The church will be worse off for

  347. it, but not only when it comes to kings.

  348. Small K kicking car, but capital K the King of Kings.

  349. If you are robbing your children from approaching an earthly

  350. king, you're also going to rob your children from approaching

  351. the King of kings. Who says come boldly to the

  352. throne of grace, just like David did with the earthly king.

  353. We are invited to the King of Kings.

  354. We. I was at a 50th last night and

  355. my mate's wife got up to his speech.

  356. And the first point was, thank you that every single morning of

  357. our married life, you've gotten up early to pray.

  358. Daniel went into the king, pray, protecting our family, ringing

  359. us before the throne. Daniel went to the king of kings

  360. and then he went to the small king.

  361. And that's what we are encouraged to do.

  362. I don't know if you've read the book, it's called The Great

  363. Divorce. I think it's CS Lewis.

  364. I read it many, many years ago. I don't even know if I'd

  365. actually recommend it. I was thinking this morning,

  366. it's a very weird book. It's allegorical.

  367. It's all about people who've been sent to hell going on a

  368. field trip to heaven. So I don't know if I'd highly

  369. recommend it, but there's one portion that I want to raise in

  370. all it's weirdness. So they go on this field trip.

  371. They all climb off the bus, they go and they do their tour.

  372. But now they're coming back to the bus Field trip is done.

  373. Now the premise here is that those you go to hell go there

  374. because they want to. They want nothing to do with

  375. God. I don't want your forgiveness.

  376. I don't want Jesus. I don't want the cross.

  377. I don't want heaven. So to be dragged to heaven is a

  378. bit of a punishment. So they're now sulking and

  379. finally we can leave. And as they're walking, Lewis

  380. describes each person sort of having this little creature on

  381. their shoulder. And then he describes a cross

  382. like figure who's standing by the bus waiting.

  383. And as they come, Jesus says to one of the guys pointing at this

  384. creature, he says, I can take that from you.

  385. The guy says, doesn't even look up.

  386. He says, no, I'm OK, I'm OK. I just want to, we're leaving

  387. now, don't bother me. And he takes a step closer.

  388. He said, let me take that from you.

  389. And this thing says, don't do it.

  390. It's going to hurt. You don't want to be that guy,

  391. You know, go in church. I mean, your life's a mess, You

  392. know, what's everyone going to say if I'm not here the third

  393. time? Jesus says, let me take that

  394. from you. And the creature again says,

  395. I'll be quiet, I'll be good, won't say another thing.

  396. I want to make you do that stuff ever again.

  397. Just don't touch me. And then there's this moment

  398. where the guy who's just been staring blankly at the floor

  399. looks up, catches the eyes of Jesus, and he just makes a

  400. little bit like 1/2 reach. And Jesus reaches and grabs and

  401. there's this bowl of flame and fire and light and screams, and

  402. he is radically set free in an instant.

  403. And I told the crazy allegorical story because church, we

  404. underestimate the power of the presence of God.

  405. We sit with our impossible, and all we can see is that there's

  406. no one on earth that can help me, no one on earth.

  407. And there's the King of kings, it says, come boldly to the

  408. throne of grace so that you might receive mercy to fight

  409. that fight. And Daniel knows this, but do

  410. you know it? Because on this side there's no

  411. one on earth are the magicians, the sorcerers, the astrologers,

  412. the necromancers and those who dabble in the cult.

  413. What are we doing here, Church? When God says bring your

  414. impossible to me, I can take that from you.

  415. A moment in the presence of God. What are you waiting for?

  416. What are you waiting for? Pray presence people and praise

  417. people. This is verse 17.

  418. Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter

  419. to his friends Hananiah, Mishael, and Azaria.

  420. He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven

  421. concerning this mystery. What I noticed there in praying

  422. through this chapter was that it doesn't say he went to Shadrach,

  423. Meshach, and Abednego. Instead, he went to Hananiah,

  424. Mishael, and Azaria. Now don't get me wrong, they're

  425. one and the same, but actually this is the only time after the

  426. king, King Nebuchadnezzar had renamed them.

  427. It's the only time in the whole of Daniel that it's written.

  428. Instead of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, it's written

  429. Hananiah, Mishael, and Azaria. So Daniel must be saying

  430. something. The fact that he calls him by

  431. those names, you see what he's trying to tell us is he didn't

  432. run to Babylonians, he ran to brothers.

  433. And then he names them friends. So he says that he returned to

  434. his house. So his brothers in the house

  435. explain the matter to his friends.

  436. And that word that he uses there can be translated militant

  437. supporter brothers. But more than brothers, soldiers

  438. in Colossians. Again, right at the very end,

  439. Paul is busy writing, saying, OK, cheers receive here.

  440. There you go, this beautiful. He says, you know, Aristotle

  441. says, how's it Justice says, how's it Barnabas Pephras says,

  442. sends greetings and then he says this about a Pephrat Pephras.

  443. He says he's one of you. He's a he's a friend.

  444. He sends greetings. And this is how Paul describes

  445. and defines a friend says he is always wrestling in pray for

  446. you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and

  447. fully assured. So Daniel 2 describes friends as

  448. a militant supporter. Colossians 4 describes friends

  449. as someone who is always wrestling and pray for you.

  450. Which begs the question, do you have these friends?

  451. Do you have these friends? When you're facing your

  452. impossible, who do you run to? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

  453. or a brother? Which begs the question, are you

  454. that friend? Is there anyone on your prayer

  455. list? Do you know of anyone else's

  456. impossible that you're wrestling and pray with?

  457. This is the biblical calling on our lives as part of this

  458. community that we gather around us and we gather around brothers

  459. and sisters. Now, I know you.

  460. I know all your excuses. Yeah.

  461. I had had a conversation with a friend the other day.

  462. I'd heard via Via that the wheels had come off and taken a

  463. lot of strain. And I'm like, why didn't you

  464. tell me? And the answer was, oh, no, I

  465. didn't want to burden you. And in a moment I suddenly

  466. realized, oh, you see me as a Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

  467. I thought we had a Hananiah, Mishael and Azaria.

  468. I thought brothers, but do you think Babylonians?

  469. So there's some work to do, but I know all the excuses.

  470. You know how many times I get asked to do a wedding and say,

  471. OK, just fill out this form. You know, what life group are

  472. you in? How long have you been in three

  473. CR? I would say 9.999% of the time

  474. that. What life group are you in?

  475. We've been wanting to, but we haven't just yet.

  476. Oh, some are Babylonian pastor for hire or are you part of the

  477. family? Yeah.

  478. But you know, I work every 3rd Tuesday.

  479. So I just don't want to break that cycle, you know.

  480. And it looks like it might rain next week, so I'm not going to

  481. come to church this Sunday. So let me let me put the bar

  482. really, really low. They did a study on church

  483. attendance, specifically around new people and this is what they

  484. found. Unless you form 7 personal

  485. relationships in three CR within the first year of popping in,

  486. you will not be here for the second year.

  487. You know why? Because somewhere along the line

  488. during your year, you're going to face an impossible and there

  489. ain't going to be no brothers around you to wrestle and pray

  490. on your behalf. And you know what you're going

  491. to do? You're going to leave and say,

  492. yeah, you know, I've tried to get 16 counselling sessions with

  493. them and they didn't even go to one of them. 3 CR, 3 CR, 3 CR,

  494. while you have been taken out slits after slits after slits,

  495. and your impossible gets too big for you to carry.

  496. So I've tried that. No, you haven't.

  497. You've come to Babylon and you haven't found brothers.

  498. You haven't found brothers because this is Unless you form

  499. 7 personal relationships in three CR within the first year,

  500. you are unlikely to be here or the rest of us will be.

  501. Thanks for coming to church. Prayer, presence, people,

  502. praise. My time is up praise.

  503. This is what I pray for you. Through CR verse 19 during the

  504. night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision.

  505. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said praise be to the

  506. name of God forever and ever. Wisdom and power is his.

  507. Now pray, Father, you said, Lord, you said if anyone lacks

  508. wisdom and there are two and a half 3000 people here today who

  509. might lack wisdom, you said that wisdom and power are yours,

  510. yours to give. So asked that you'd give it to

  511. three CR, you'd give it to that impossible situation.

  512. He changes times and seasons. There are many in three CR who

  513. have been in such a long, dry, barren wilderness season.

  514. Father, you change times, you change seasons.

  515. I pray today that it will be a season change for many.

  516. In three CR. He deposes kings and raises up

  517. others. I bring our government before

  518. you. Father, if there's corruption,

  519. would you depose those kings and raise others?

  520. Pray for our city, for the municipality, for teachers, for

  521. lecturers, for medical staff. Depose wicked kings.

  522. I pray He gives wisdom to the wise, knowledge to the

  523. discerning. He reveals deep and hidden

  524. things. Lord, if you can give a 27 year

  525. old idea around particle acceleration and surely you can

  526. help me with a friendship, with my business, with a patent.

  527. Reveal deep and hidden things. He knows what lies in the dark.

  528. Protect his Father from darkness and light dwells with him.

  529. Bring light into dark places. I thank and praise you, God of

  530. my Father's. You've given me wisdom and

  531. power. You've made known to me what we

  532. asked of you, and you've made known to us the dream of the

  533. King. It's because through prayer,

  534. presence, people and praise, it makes the impossible possible.

  535. So go and do like us.
