Just wanted to say a few things over a few people and wanted to start with you, Andrew.
-
I just, God wants to say to you, Andrew, that you have studied and been very diligent in the things of the Lord.
-
And He's going to bring you into a place now where He's going to give you abundance of revelation and understanding.
-
That He knows your heart to follow Him.
-
And He's going to use you in many ways to increase the understanding of God to many people.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Jenny and Dave, you've been very faithful in the things of the Lord.
-
But God's saying to you, you can be a support, a disciple of the young ones.
-
You can come beside them in teaching and in undergirding and supporting and praying for them.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Pastor Betty, you've been faithful in your prayers about many things.
-
You've asked for many big things.
-
And God wants you to know that He's trusting both laborers into the harvest to bring about many of the things you prayed for.
-
And He said, He said, hold fast through faith and patience.
-
You will inherit those promises.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Laurie Thompson, I'm just praying for you, brother.
-
You've got a lot of wisdom to do with finances and provision for people.
-
And I see you coming around more and more people you've done a little bit in the past.
-
And there's going to be a lot more for you to for people, for you to support, encourage and help with godly wisdom for how to manage the affairs of life.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
For Tony and Ross, Lord, I thank you.

You ain't seen nothing yet across the body of Christ.
-
You'll be used to support people in your home.
-
You support them in the ministry, support them even in going places.
-
Father, I thank you for their light.
-
They're shining their home, their openness to serve you and father that you're going to increase that in the days to come.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
For our brother Dallas, he said, God says, worry not, brother.
-
I'm going to lead you and guide you.
-
He says, you've set your vases to seek me to pray to live each day in me and and you and your and your wife are going to serve the Lord.
-
He said, don't worry about anything.
-
I'm going to look after you.
-
I'm a good father and it'll all go well.

Praise God.
-
Hallelujah.
-
He's good.
-
Amen.
-
God is good.
-
He's here.
-
He's visiting us.
-
Apart from him, we can do nothing.
-
Amen.
-
Praise God.
-
Would you turn with me to Ephesians, chapter three?
-
This is a pivotal since my accident.
-
This has been a pivotal verse in my life.
-
And we're going to do a study today, a stroll through Ephesians chapters one and two.
-
But we're going to set the stage by looking at Ephesians chapter three to start with.
-
Praise God.
-
Let's pray.
-
Father, we thank you that you are here.
-
We ask that your Holy Spirit would illuminate your word, that the teacher, the comforter,
-
the one who guides and looks after us, our helper, will give us illumination and revelation
-
of your word as we seek you in the scriptures today.
-
In Jesus name.
-
Amen.
-
Ephesians chapter three and verse 14.
-
For this cause I bow my knees unto the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Paul's saying there that everything in his life is submitted and surrendered to the father
-
of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.
-
We're going to talk about family and adoption and how we've been adopted in today.
-
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.
-
That he would grant you according to his riches in glory.
-
That's pretty big.
-
We've just been singing how great thou art about the moon and the sun and the stars.
-
That he would grant you according to those riches of his in glory to be strengthened
-
with might.
-
This is a mighty thing we serve.
-
We serve a mighty God.
-
But that might by his spirit is in the inner man.
-
It's in you that mightiness that we see out there in nature.
-
All the wisdom and knowledge and strength and faith that's in God that can bring stuff,
-
physical substance out of just spiritual things.
-
That's in our inner man.
-
Verse 3, verse 17 of chapter 3.
-
That Christ, and this is a pivotal verse for my life and I hope it becomes a pivotal verse
-
for yours.
-
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.
-
That ye being rooted and grounded in love.
-
God is love isn't he?
-
So if Christ is dwelling in your heart then love's dwelling in your heart.
-
Amen.
-
That we may be able to comprehend with all the saints, four dimensions here not three.
-
The breadth, the length, the height and the depth.
-
Depth and the height.
-
To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.
-
That ye might be filled with a little bit of God.
-
No it doesn't say that.
-
It says with the fullness.
-
If you want to have a good study in the New Testament look up that word fullness and you'll
-
be shocked at some of the verses you'll see.
-
God wants to give not a little bit of himself but the fullness unto us.
-
That's an amazing thing.
-
So Christ may dwell in your heart by faith.
-
Are you convinced, are you fully persuaded that when you get out of bed in the morning
-
that Christ is walking and talking and living and moving and loving and bringing peace through
-
your being to others.
-
We are called to shine.
-
We are called to shine as lights in this world through our words, our actions and who we
-
are.
-
Apart from him we can do nothing but with him and in him we can do all things through
-
Christ who strengthens us.
-
And that's why Romans 6 and 7, the death to self, the baptism, the death to the old man
-
brings us to Romans 8 which is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus that has
-
set us free from the law of sin and death because Christ is dwelling in us.
-
I learned an old song years ago.
-
With Christ in my vessel I can smile at the storm, smile at the storm, smile at the storm.
-
With Christ in my vessel I can smile at the storm as we go sailing home.
-
And there are all sorts of actions to it.
-
All this sort of stuff.
-
But this is simple truth.
-
You see when you're frantic and rushing around trimming the sails and bailing the water overboard,
-
guess where Jesus is?
-
He's in your boat but he's asleep.
-
And when you stop your frantic nonsense even though you might be an expert sailor and you
-
stop bailing and you stop trimming the sails and you wake Jesus up and you say, hey do
-
you care about me?
-
What a statement.
-
What a fapeless statement.
-
They'd been with us in multiple miracles.
-
We loved them every day.
-
Do you care that we're about to die?
-
He says you're not about to die.
-
Peace be still.
-
And you might see some storms in your life but when you know, when you're at peace, when
-
it's a finished thing in your life that Christ is in me by the power of the Spirit in my
-
inner man, then I can face anything.
-
No wonder.
-
No wonder James says, count it all joy.
-
You've got Christ in your vessel.
-
It's not you facing this.
-
It's Jesus and he's more than a conqueror through him who loves us.
-
Greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world.
-
This is the victory that overcomes the world, the faith.
-
Why?
-
Because with true faith Christ is living in you and he's facing it all.
-
Why are you going to worry about anything?
-
You've got a father, a dad who's living in you, who's looking after everything.
-
Trust and obey for there's no other way to be happy and at peace with Jesus but to trust
-
and obey.
-
Amen.
-
That's wonderful stuff.
-
And where to know the love of Christ?
-
To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that you may be filled with all the fullness
-
of God.
-
Love is where it's at.
-
By this, by this shall all men know that you are my disciples, that you love one another.
-
What have we, what has the body of Christ got to come to to look like that?
-
What relationships will we have with another, one another because we know the richness of
-
his inheritance in each saint that's sitting here today.
-
This is good news.
-
It's what the good news is meant to be.
-
I just want to read from Matthew 28 for a second because this is the Great Commission.
-
I just want to look at what that teaches us.
-
Go there for and make disciples of all nations.
-
I think the King James Version there says go there for and teach all the nations.
-
The good news, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching
-
them to observe all that I've commanded you.
-
And lo, I'm with you always even to the end of the age.
-
Verse 18, I'm going to go back to verse 18.
-
All authority has been given to me in heaven and therefore go.
-
And that authority is in you because you're seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
-
and heaven is in your heart and that throne is in your heart.
-
You have an in the spirit connection to the throne of God.
-
That's why we can come boldly to the throne in the courts of heaven to find help, grace
-
and favor in a time of need.
-
This is a wonderful salvation.
-
It doesn't say there that we go and make converts, get them to say a little prayer and that's
-
in there in and they're going to heaven.
-
So this is about heaven coming and dwelling and living and manifesting itself in your
-
heart.
-
He who endures to the end will be saved.
-
Him that over cometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God.
-
It's through much tribulation testing a saying that we enter the kingdom of God.
-
That's why we've got to go through some trials.
-
But if Christ is in your vessel and you're sure of it and you know that in him you live
-
and move and have your being, then you can face anything.
-
That's why the words of scripture says, cast all your care, not just a couple.
-
Think of anything that's worrying you at the moment.
-
Cast it on him.
-
And the reason why you throw it is to get it away from you, even though he's living
-
in your heart, is to get that trouble away from you.
-
Don't race back and take it off him and worry a bit more about it because that's going to
-
do nothing for you.
-
Absolutely nothing.
-
And in fact, in fact, it puts you in the darkness.
-
So we bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, which is he's got the worries,
-
he's got the care.
-
Take no thought for my life.
-
What I'm going to wear, put on, what I'm going to do, where I'm going to go and how I'm going
-
to get there.
-
Poor kids, they come into the fridge when they're young.
-
They take, open the fridge and start just grazing, doing what they want.
-
They don't come out in the morning and say, oh, dad, mom, how are you going to pay that
-
electricity bill?
-
And the rates, have you done that?
-
And you know, the insurance on the car, have you really?
-
No, the kids don't come and do that.
-
They simply think, mom and dad, they just think it all happens, you know.
-
And we're to be like that with God.
-
He's going to look after it.
-
He will take care of you.
-
God will take care of you.
-
That hymn says, be not dismayed, what e'er be tired, God will take care of you.
-
Beneath his wings of love abide.
-
God will take care of you.
-
Are you convinced of that?
-
He's the God El Shaddai, the God that's more than enough.
-
If we abide in him and his word abides in us, we'll ask what we will.
-
Why?
-
Why will he answer that?
-
Because this is the confidence we have confidence that Christ is.
-
This is the confidence we have in him.
-
If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
-
And if he hears us, then we know, we know, we know we have it.
-
Why?
-
He's in us.
-
The God that does all that is in us.
-
So we're going to take a wander with that little opening bit.
-
We'll take a wander through Ephesians chapter one.
-
And we're just going to do a little bit of a Bible study.
-
And what I want you to look for, and when you look at the scriptures, there's some things,
-
some keys of what you should look for.
-
And one of them, I love to look for these two little words that means so much because
-
we're seeing how great thou art, but it's not out there.
-
It's in here.
-
That greatness of wisdom and knowledge and faith is in here.
-
And we must never forget that.
-
So we're looking for the word in him and in whom and in Christ.
-
We're looking for those words because there's a massive amount of stuff in there.
-
All the riches in glory in Christ Jesus are in those two words in him.
-
And if we're living and moving and have our being in him, we have access, direct access
-
to hear from him.
-
So Ephesians one verse one, Paul, an apostle, sent one of Jesus Christ by the will of God
-
to the saints who are in Ephesus and to the faithful in Jesus Christ.
-
If they're faithful, they're full of faith, the God kind of faith.
-
It's a gift from God.
-
They say any man should boast.
-
That was the faith that got us into this in the first place, that got us into Christ,
-
therefore being justified by faith.
-
We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Grace to be to you.
-
In many, in many, in many opening books, he says grace be multiplied to you and peace
-
from from God, our father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
God be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath who hath past tense, who
-
hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
-
It's a done work.
-
It's in him, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, all the spiritual blessings.
-
And that pertains to everything.
-
Peter says at the beginning of his book, who hath granted us past tense, everything pertaining
-
to life and godliness.
-
It's all in him.
-
If you dip into him and stay in, he's the vine and you're the branch and that's one
-
plant and if you stay abiding in that branch through the word of God and the spirit of
-
God and you're in a man, you're going to bear fruit.
-
You're going to walk in love.
-
It's a choice.
-
A soft answer turns away wrath.
-
People try to manipulate one another through words.
-
We see it everywhere.
-
We want to cancel them.
-
We want to cut them off.
-
We want to stop those words getting out.
-
We want to shut them down because it's normally to those people that are speaking truth that
-
they want to shut down and that's very manipulative.
-
When you get angry at someone, you're trying to manipulate them.
-
When you're getting frustrated, you're going, well, I don't like what you're saying and
-
you know, that's affecting me.
-
Well, why is it affecting you?
-
Would it affect Christ?
-
No, but if your life is dead and hidden with Christ and God, then it's not going to affect
-
you.
-
It's going to be water like a duck's back.
-
Jesus can handle it.
-
Step back.
-
When someone's getting angry and they're threatening the words like you at work or they're trying
-
to manipulate it, step back and let Jesus handle it and stay in peace.
-
Amen.
-
Praise God.
-
That's why we give it, you know, those be anxious for nothing Philippians forces, nothing.
-
That's the same as all cares gone.
-
Take no thought for your life.
-
Be anxious for nothing, but with prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving.
-
Oh, when you're thanking God, you can't be grumbling and complaining when you're praising
-
God and worshiping and singing the songs of the redeemed and blessing one another and
-
singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.
-
You can't be in the place of grumbling and complaining.
-
The children of God were whittled down to two people.
-
Joshua and Caleb made it in.
-
Why?
-
Because they gave a good report and a good report is that I don't care what I'm going
-
through.
-
I've got Christ in my vessel and I'm going to get to the other side.
-
You know what happened when they got to the other side after that big storm and it's,
-
you know, they were going over there to rid that man of.
-
Allegiant of demons.
-
We got a legion of demons out there in the world and the first place to be when you're
-
headed towards the victory that God wants to do on this planet to bring about the victory
-
of the cross in the world out there and a mighty harvest is for you to start realizing
-
that Christ is in your vessel.
-
And he's there for a reason.
-
You can either be operating out of you or you or by walking in the spirit, you can be
-
operating out of him.
-
That's your choice.
-
And one of the biggest things that stops all these wonderful promises that coming is you
-
and me.
-
That's why we put off the old man in Colossians three and we put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
We put off everything of self and what we want to do.
-
It's no longer I that liveth but Christ that liveth in me.
-
So we've been blessed with all according as he has chosen us.
-
Let's go to verse four in him chosen us in him.
-
When before the foundation of the world.
-
That's a long time ago before we even went to the cross before the world was created
-
before he said the to Eve that you know he was going to she was going to crush him under
-
foot through the through the Messiah that was going to come through her lineage.
-
Before all that he knew us that we would be holy and blameless before him in love.
-
That's a description of God holy blameless full of love.
-
If God lives in us we should be like God.
-
That's why one of the big things that Paul talks about over and over again is where to
-
be holy.
-
We have the Holy Ghost and the first fruit of the Holy Spirit is love and if you walk
-
in love you won't be sinning.
-
All sin is based in selfishness.
-
I will you know I'll take I'll do this I'll have what's not mine.
-
I'll cover it with what's not mine.
-
I'll kill with what's not mine because I want to.
-
All of that's taken away and if we read Corinthians 13 we know that you don't have love you got
-
nothing nothing.
-
That's why it's not arrogant boastful proud rude doesn't keep a record of wrongs gentle
-
kind peaceful full of humility counting other one another is more important than ourselves
-
and that's something we should never forget in the body of Christ.
-
We shouldn't be looking out just for our stuff.
-
We should be looking out for one another.
-
Having predestined us to the adoption by children by of children by Jesus Christ to himself
-
according to the good pleasure of his will.
-
When he gave you faith to be translated out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom
-
of his dear son you were adopted born into the family.
-
I was born into the family physically but something greater than that has happened now.
-
I'm born into a spiritual family by one spirit I was immersed into the body of Christ and
-
I've become part of his members and as we connect to the head to listen to his voice
-
to see a revelation of his word in the in the Bible here the spirit of God teaching
-
us that's forming the living word in us so that the word will become flesh again in you
-
and I amen to the praise of the glory of his grace wherein he has accepted us.
-
You're accepted.
-
You don't have to do anything to get there.
-
You don't have to do any works.
-
There are people out in Christendom today.
-
They saw those words of Jesus.
-
I think it's Matthew twenty five or somewhere around there where he says you know when do
-
we see you naked?
-
When do we see you hungry?
-
When we are sick and we we visited you at the hospital or when we are in prison and
-
we came and saw you and they take those words and think oh well we'll impress God by doing
-
all those four.
-
No we're going to come to a verse later in chapter two that tells us we don't get in
-
by works lest any man should boast but once we're in we have his nature.
-
And then we're led by the spirit to do those things when we see a brother or a sister in
-
trouble that we will help them because if you if you say that you love God that you
-
haven't seen and blessed are those that do then you've got to love your brother and sister
-
who you have seen and might be a need in front of you.
-
So let's go to Ephesians one seven in whom in whom there we go big words in whom in Christ
-
we have redemption through his blood he's brought us back.
-
The Passover lamb has been sacrificed for us.
-
I love lamb.
-
It tastes great.
-
I had a I had a big lamb roast yesterday.
-
I probably had more than my fair share but it was good taste and see that the lamb is
-
good you know there's there's there's principles in the Bible that says first the natural then
-
the spiritual things in the natural correlate to things in the spiritual and one of the
-
biggest lessons of that for Christ our Passover lamb sacrifice for us was that back in Egypt
-
there was a price for them to escape from Pharaoh's clutches and that price was to kill
-
an unblemished male lamb and put the blood on the doorpost of their house just like we're
-
the house of the Holy Spirit now the door of the house is our life and that's where
-
we dwell.
-
You dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide.
-
It's where you're dwelling and abiding that determines the promises and the reality that
-
you have.
-
So they put the blood on the doorpost of this house so that in the middle of the night or
-
whenever it came the angel of death passed over and death has passed over you and I and
-
has lost its sting because we have eternal life in Jesus Christ and we're living forever
-
because we started when we invited him in eternal life came in and it's living in us
-
every day and that's why we go to have that's why we go to be with him heaven is to being
-
with him and in him we stay there he's not leaving and so what did they do after they
-
put the blood on the doorpost of the house they went inside and they barbecued the lamb
-
over the fire and they ate it.
-
Jesus said eat my body drink my blood.
-
What did they do they ate the lamb whatever is left went back in the fire the lamb was
-
in them.
-
This is a this is a spiritual parallel of Christ in us right back there and that was
-
the price for them to get out of Egypt cross over through the waters of baptism death back
-
that we're leaving Egypt behind the water is going to close behind us and we'll never
-
go back to the kingdom of darkness.
-
That's why Jesus said anyone putting their hand to the plow and turning backs not fit
-
he didn't say you're not going to get to heaven he says you're not fit if you're looking
-
back at Egypt and and and we're hankering for the onions and leeks and garlic or whatever
-
they ate back there.
-
He says leave and leave it behind.
-
I believe that that was it was that unleavened bread they ate and the and the and the lamb
-
with a bread that speaks of Christ as well and that blood on their house.
-
Save them and redeem them out of Egypt redemption is a price paid to take us back you could
-
redeem a slave go and pay the price and set them free.
-
Jesus paid the price in his body therefore glorify God in your body through his blood
-
the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace so the lamb can come and live
-
in us just like they ate the lamb and he was in them and David says he brought them forth
-
with silver and gold and there was not a feeble one amongst them.
-
Why is that because the lamb was inside them the great physician Jehovah Raffer the Lord
-
your healer verse 9 having made known to us the mystery of his will according to the good
-
pleasure which he purposed in himself that in the dispensation of the fullness of times
-
he might gather together one in one all things in Christ that's you and me the body both
-
which are in heaven and which are on earth even in him there's words in him just keep
-
flowing over and over and over again.
-
We need to be convinced fully persuaded that what God has promised he's able to perform.
-
In Romans 7 and I think it says we'd be dead to the law through the body of Christ rules
-
and regulations that we might be married to another.
-
You know what I don't have any problem with a certain fact in my life that 43 years ago
-
I got married I don't have any problem with remembering it 44 is it oh I'm in trouble
-
here I'm in real trouble now 44 years ago yeah we just passed the other mark praise
-
God but you know I don't have trouble knowing I don't get up and think oh am I am I married
-
to us still you know.
-
I'd be in trouble if I got up wondering about that I don't have any trouble it's a fact
-
like you're only like you know your name we become one flesh we live together we think
-
similarly it just goes on every day.
-
I have no trouble I'm confident in it I don't need to go and find that where's that certificate
-
you know I better just see is this really true it's etched on my brain I know that I
-
know it's family for heaven's sake this is family I said I do to it and there's no way
-
I'm going to forget it yet people have a lot of trouble believing that where's God I haven't
-
seen the answer to my prayer well he heard your prayer you have confidence is there he's
-
with you he's doing it through faith and patience we inherit the promises just stand fast it's
-
God's problem not yours.
-
So we have to know that in whom verse 11 in whom here we go in again it's not just with
-
it's in that's a big difference it's not out there somewhere some way some day it might
-
happen because it's supposed to no it's in you revivals in you you've got to let the
-
God of revival out of you by letting love joy and peace by letting fruit come and by
-
let his his spirit flow in you being predestined in whom we have also obtained an inheritance
-
when I stood at the altar with Christine I didn't have much she had a lot more than I
-
had actually she owned a car and a caravan which we lived in for a little while and when
-
I said I do everything that I own she got and everything she owned I got and when we
-
stand at the altar with Jesus the bridegroom and we're the bride everything that is his
-
is ours all riches in glory by Christ Jesus he says I'm going to meet your needs according
-
to what I can scrape up in you know Woodridge and Springwood no I'm going to meet your needs
-
according to my riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
-
With God in whom we obtained an inheritance where joint heirs with Jesus all the treasures
-
of wisdom and knowledge are in him we should have the best wisdom and knowledge when we
-
go to work or whatever we're doing out there we should have it because it's there freely
-
available in him that's why James says hey it's easy to ask and not doubt and be like
-
the wave tossed on the sea if you're asking for wisdom and it's a great prayer to pray
-
because wisdom with wisdom if you look at Solomon's life with wisdom comes a lot of
-
benefits and he asked for wisdom and he's the guy that wrote in Proverbs trust in the
-
Lord with all your heart and lean not oh how's it going to happen I don't know it's going
-
to happen according to his riches in glory though lean not to your own understanding
-
not to what the circumstances are telling you but in all your ways acknowledge him because
-
he is your way he is your truth he is your life and he's living in you praise God that's
-
exciting we have joint ears with Jesus being predestined according to the purpose of him
-
who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will that we should be to the praise
-
of his glory who first trusted in Christ and even that trust he gave us in whom in whom
-
here we go again you also trusted that after you heard the word of truth the gospel of
-
your salvation in whom also after you believe you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise
-
praise God I believe we're going to see and we need to focus and get back to the baptism
-
in the Holy Ghost when John was talking about this great salvation that was coming and the
-
mighty the mighty Messiah that was coming what did he say he says I'm not worthy to
-
undie his thing but he will he will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire he'll come
-
and live in you through his spirit in your in your inner man Christ will dwell in your
-
hearts by faith amen that's good news and I want to see more evangelists saying that
-
sort of stuff not where you pray this prayer and you got a ticket into heaven no pray this
-
prayer become a disciple get learn about these things of the spirit in your inner man and
-
you can shine to the world and bring heaven to the world now amen heaven in our hearts
-
and the fire of God in us we need that fire Holy Ghost and fire that burns out the dross
-
that leaves self behind and we get swept away in the spirit of God you know that that verse
-
I think it's Ezekiel 37 or 47 I'm not sure which one one's dry bones and the other one's
-
water coming out of the temple but the the water coming out of the temple was ankle deep
-
people say oh I'm in the river I'm ankle deep you know it's coming from the temple we are
-
the temple of the living God now out of our bellies should flow rivers of living water
-
and then it goes to knee deep and whoa I'm getting a bit wobbly on my feet now it's knee
-
deep but then it goes waist deep and you go whoa I'm nearly being swept off my feet here
-
you see when when that river touches our heart we will he will sweep us off our feet and
-
we'll no longer be anchored on the earth we'll no longer be anchored to worldly things but
-
the spirit of God will wash us away in the river and the last thing that goes under our
-
head so even our head will be transformed by the renewing of our mind that we might
-
prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God that comes through reading
-
his will and getting our eyes of our understanding enlightened to it so we're going to read about
-
that in verse 15 actually I shouldn't jump verse 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance
-
until the redemption of the purchase possession that's all of us under the praise of his glory
-
whereas I also after I heard your faith in the Lord Jesus and love unto all the saints
-
look at that if you've got some faith that Christ is living in you if you're living by
-
faith then love's going to come out for all the saints especially of the household of
-
God I cease not to give thanks for you making mention of you in my prayers when I'm before
-
the throne I'm talking to God that he would do this I started reading praying this prayer
-
back in the early 2000s one of the most important things I did in my life but the God of our
-
Lord Jesus Christ the father of glory may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation
-
and knowledge of him your eyes of your understanding be enlightened that you can see in the spirit
-
you can see what God's telling us you can only walk through a door that you can see
-
if I see the door open I can walk through that door and and John 10 verse 9 says I am
-
the door by me if any man enter in he shall be saved behold I'm standing at the door and
-
knocking Christian I want to come into your life come in today come in to stay because
-
I'm not going to leave we serve a great God a great salvation and he's transformed us
-
from the inside out and his spirit should flow out of us and we should read the word
-
of God every time you open this book ask the Holy Spirit to give you a spirit ask to see
-
it ask to feel it ask for it to become alive to you ask it to be quickened to you the same
-
spirit that raised Christ from the dead he'll quicken and give life to us in our spirits
-
and even in our bodies because if we know he lives in then the great physician lives
-
in there too and healing is not a great sweat anymore that's why it says the prayer of
-
faith shall save the sick the elders because people don't know that the that the physician
-
lives on the inside then the elders just go well I got Jesus silver and gold I don't have
-
much of but such as I have give I be in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise and
-
walk you know I believe that story is a bit of a type of the end church and we need a
-
restoration of the things of God the man go by the gate beautiful he's in a good place
-
it's like the modern church but it was born without evangelistic legs they thought it
-
was all about themself and because he didn't have legs he stayed in the one place and he
-
had to tin cup in his hand and every day he's counting the numbers game who can I get because
-
the more people I talk to if I get in a place where I can get more numbers I'll get more
-
money and if I get more money I'll have more survival and and I only talk to people because
-
because I need them to put money in my bucket and they're playing the numbers game you heard
-
this before you've seen this in the body of Christ before their only vision is to get
-
more people on the seat so they get more in the cup and more power and influence it's
-
all about God it's not about us so what does a man with a tin cup do he thinks oh he's
-
a good prospect he's dressed well he looks good we'll give him pride a price we'll sit
-
him down the front you know we'll we'll make him a deacon whatever no that's not how this
-
works but that's how it worked for the guy with a tin cup because he had to get his needs
-
met he had to had to be sustained but along came along come the apostle and prophet for
-
all of the Holy Ghosts and power and say we don't have what you're looking for you're
-
looking for silver and gold to meet your needs but I got something that's far better I got
-
something that the world can't give and the world can't take him away amen Jesus is the
-
one that the world can't give and the world can't take him away praise God and such as
-
we have Christ the healer in us we give to you now bang and he went walking and leaping
-
and braising God and I believe as the church gazes as the church puts aside silver and
-
gold in the numbers game and they look to Almighty God and his messages and servants
-
that are bringing the word of God then God will go out into that church will go then
-
flourish there instead of the flesh and we'll actually do we'll get our evangelistic legs
-
back and we'll actually go and do what we're called to do amen got a little bit off track
-
there but you know that's all right so that the eyes of your understanding verse eight
-
and be enlightened we need enlightenment on what we have we had this treasure in earth
-
and vessel that the excellence is not of ourselves but of God that's fantastic that we might
-
know the hope you're calling your called find out what your calling is listen to the voice
-
of God and walk in that calling doesn't matter what it is do it in the name of Jesus Christ
-
you know that that that guy that was laying by the at the gate beautiful it says later
-
on faith in that man faith in my in that name has made this man whole in the midst of you
-
all when God's acting in us it's when we use the name of Jesus that what's in us is activated
-
we cast out demons in the name of Jesus we pray for the sick in the name of Jesus we
-
do everything in that night because when we use that name Christine took my name and when
-
she uses that name all the resources that we had together goes into action and the same
-
happens when we use his name that he gave for us so the eyes of our understanding to
-
understand what the hope of our calling the riches so if Christ in me is is big and great
-
then Christ in you is too so we have riches in this room riches of his inheritance in
-
the saints there's gifts and ministries and callings right here today and as you move
-
in it the whole body will move as one when my body's running your arms pumping like that
-
you think well that's a funny action for an arm to do but for the body to run properly
-
and for the balance to be there you've got to swing those arms and it all moves together
-
and the head is coordinating the whole lot sending it down the nerve pathways and it's
-
through the spirit of God that the head is sending all the messages to the body that
-
we'd work together for the edification of itself in love amen wonderful stuff that he's
-
done for us and so verse 19 what a wonderful verse if there's nothing else you get from
-
this morning meditate on verse 19 for a week or so and what is the exceeding greatness
-
of his power to us would who believe according to the working of his mighty power.
-
Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God nothing is impossible when you're trusting
-
in his word I can do the voice of God to thee is there anything too hard for me so put your
-
trust in God alone and stand upon his word for everything yes everything yes everything
-
is possible with God.
-
You know who had that singing at their meetings?
-
Catherine Kuhlman a piece of Missouri cornbread a lady a divorcee whose life was had it and
-
she said God if you can take anything of what's left fill me up she had choirs singing songs
-
like that and that impossibility can be done through you the greatness exceeding greatness
-
of the power towards us who believe which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from
-
the dead and set him at his own right hand in heavenly places far above all principality
-
all power and might and dominion so all the stuff that's happening out there all those
-
people that think they're hot shots in the world today that have got the spirit of the
-
devil in them and the world you know whether it's the web or whether it's the leader here
-
or there or those trying to get rid of speech put a big clamp down God is on the throne
-
and he's in you and greater is the I don't care if he's the Antichrist greater is still
-
he that's in you than he that's in the world these words shall not pass away even if the
-
worst turns up in front of us because God won the battle and having spoiled principalities
-
and powers making an open show of them he triumphed over the devil why because he took
-
the handwriting of ordinances against us all those little bits of paper all the things
-
we've done wrong and nailed it to the cross so that we might be made the righteousness
-
of God in Christ he who knew no sin became sin that we would be made the righteousness
-
and there we can come boldly to the throne of grace and dip into everything that he is
-
joint heirs with Jesus Christ
-
praise God
-
he's put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things of the
-
church which is his body the head and the body eternally unite we're we're moving from
-
the instructions from heaven which is why we need the prophetic then the body will move
-
with the instructions of the head Jesus Christ and will dwell in his fullness the fullness
-
of him that filleth all in all so I haven't got a lot of time left so I want to I want
-
to skip down to and please read chapter 2 it's fantastic stuff that even when we're
-
dead and our trespasses and he quickened and made us alive having raised us up together
-
and sit in heavenly places I'm reading from verse 6 of chapter 2 in heavenly places in
-
Christ Jesus that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace and
-
his kindness toward us through Jesus Christ Peter said on the day of Pentecost this promise
-
of the Holy Ghost is for you and for all who are far off and as to many as our God shall
-
call that's us far off two thousand years later that in the ages to come he might show
-
us the exceeding riches of his grace and his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus for
-
by grace and we'll finish with this for by grace you say through faith it's not of yourselves
-
it is a gift of God so we get in by grace and loan we can't do anything to earn this
-
because if we say we are earning something or any blessing then you're cutting across
-
the cross of Calvary because he earned it all when he said it is finished it was a done
-
work completed in the spirit and we'll finish in verse 10 for we are his workmanship you
-
need to say I am his workmanship created in Christ Jesus under good works whenever you
-
see good works I see drop out and oh out of good and see God works I used to say this
-
guys in Bible College good works are God works and he's prepared and before a whole lot above
-
and what beyond whatever you can ask think or imagine he's prepared good works for you
-
that you might walk in them even before the foundation of the world will you stand on
-
your feet with me that we should walk in them we walk by faith our walk is on the golden
-
streets that their faith is tested like silver and gold and our faith is more precious than
-
silver and gold because faith put the silver and gold there in the earth in the first place
-
that we might walk in him father I thank you that you are a need meeting God and for any
-
needs in this congregation today whether it be physical in our bodies spiritual we need
-
more faith and more enlightenment we ask God that their eyes their understanding be open
-
the things in the natural you'll meet our needs according to your riches in glory by
-
Christ Jesus father we speak that out today and if you've got a need today cast that care
-
on him give it to him let Lisa throw it away from you invite that the peace of God will
-
come right God wants to bring you peace as you give that care that worry that way that
-
not knowing where you're going to turning the way you're going to turn next not knowing
-
what's down the road because you can't see but he's saying I am your way I will show
-
you and as you move forward in faith you'll see what's in front of you father we thank
-
you for your love I remember that song long wide wide as the ocean deep as the deepest
-
sea all about your love that you have for me and it's because of a revelation that you
-
love us that we can trust you give us a revelation of how much it took me until I was lying there
-
in hospital but thinking that I was condemned and he came and spoke and he said I don't
-
want giving you a new life and when you know how much he loves you and he's never left
-
you nor forsaken you your faith will grab a hold of him and never let go Jesus we we
-
we rededicate ourselves we present our bodies saints present your body to him a living sacrifice
-
a living dead dead to what you want because apart from apart from you apart from him you
-
can do nothing but with him we can do all things so God we put off the old man with
-
his passions and desires to follow this earth to follow the things of this earth we and
-
we look forward in your face the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the glory
-
of God that we find in the in his face as we seek his face we change from glory to glory
-
that we might know him and the power of his resurrection father bless these saints as
-
they're looking to you as the all-sufficient one God Almighty you're more than enough more
-
than enough and we thank you for this great salvation we want to dedicate our lives to
-
it to follow and live and move and have our being in you every day help us to go this
-
week shining with your goodness and grace may our speech be seasoned with salt and gentle
-
meek and kind to everyone that we come across and we show your nature to all that we meet
-
we pray these things in Jesus name amen thank you for joining us we pray God's richest blessing
