  1. Welcome to Logan City Christian Church Podcast, where we bring God's Word to you weekly.

  2. We pray what you hear will bring clarity to your situation and open doors in your life.

  3. Enjoy the message.

  4. The hearts, Jesus' heart is for all the nations of the world, every single one of them.

  5. And we're excited what Jesus is doing.

  6. And just as a confirmation, I mentioned a week or so ago about a move of God happening

  7. in Iran.

  8. Just to confirm, a few of you guys had mentioned to me this morning that in Iran it was mentioned

  9. about, there were about 75,000 mosques.

  10. Well, 50,000 of them are empty.

  11. Jesus is moving.

  12. Jesus is moving.

  13. And predominantly, He's moving through women who are just tired of the persecution.

  14. And they're preaching the gospel and they're just fearless.

  15. Praise God.

  16. That is something really, really exciting.

  17. Anyway, we have another nation that's going to be represented today, El Salvador.

  18. It is an incredible nation.

  19. It's suffered its own persecution over the years and the people within.

  20. But God has been raising people up such as pastors Francisco and Celia to do an incredible

  21. work in the face of adversity.

  22. When they first went back after I don't know how many years, it was tough.

  23. The gang wars and danger that was there.

  24. In fact, when I was with you in 2012, it was scary, man, I tell you.

  25. But now they have a new president and he is dealing with the situation.

  26. And when we went in this time last year, in fact, this time last year, we were with you

  27. guys over there and it was safe as anything.

  28. God was just there and we went to tourist places at night, eating pupusas.

  29. It was wonderful.

  30. And praise God.

  31. So anyway, what we're going to do, we have a presentation or an interview that was filmed

  32. with Romano Pastor Paco from El Salvador, Rodriguez.

  33. We got this thing going.

  34. That's about all the Spanish I know.

  35. I think that was Spanish, wasn't it?

  36. It was.

  37. But we're going to have the presentation then straight after that, Pastor Francisco

  38. and Celia to come up at that time to say a few words if that's possible.

  39. That would be great.

  40. Here we go, I might have to dim those lights as well.

  41. Great.

  42. Thank you.

  43. I was born in El Salvador, Central America, and I just grew up in a different way of,

  44. you know, how children is growing just today.

  45. I started working from the age of five.

  46. Is going to the coffee plantation and help people over there or my mother or my brother

  47. just is helping them to working.

  48. When I started working in San Salvador, I just, it was very dangerous over there because

  49. we couldn't get out from in the morning.

  50. But you don't know if we're going to get back again.

  51. So that why it was very, I can say risky, you know, living in El Salvador.

  52. And then I have my high school with, you know, I have to go to learn a little bit sewing

  53. and then I just pay my study with doing some work in that way.

  54. And then we met Celia in San Salvador.

  55. It was selling a very powerful car.

  56. We met Celia in San Salvador and we just got married.

  57. And then we had our kids and then we, and I decided to come apply for to come to Australia.

  58. The place where we were living, it was so dangerous because I was the place where most

  59. of the guerrillas people was there.

  60. So but we were, I think we were very, at that time, now I can say, at that time I can say,

  61. you know, I was very lucky, but it's not lucky as I was in, I think now the God was making

  62. his way because we left the day before they attack in the place where we were living.

  63. But we left on 1990 and from the time we come to Australia, it was, it was really good.

  64. Something that I just believe now that God was preparing for us to come.

  65. Even at the very beginning was we were coming over here with no English.

  66. Now we is able to speak another stem and that our life, it really changed.

  67. I just believe God made his word in our life here.

  68. In 1992 was agreement between guerrilla and the government and they agreed with the peace,

  69. you know, agreement.

  70. They become with the peace agreement.

  71. So and it will change, it changed a little bit, no more fighting between army and the

  72. guerrilla.

  73. It was a little bit more better.

  74. But I think at the time the gangs start coming to El Salvador because the U.S. government

  75. start sending people to El Salvador, the people who commit crime in the U.S.

  76. Well I just believe we just came to this, to the Logan City Christian Church in 2004

  77. and February 2004.

  78. And at that time, during that time, we just, it came one man from U.S.

  79. I can't remember his name because I was new and this man called people just, you know,

  80. for a prayer.

  81. And he grabbed me and then he went to grab Celia and he prophesied to us, he said, you

  82. will be working with people with your own language.

  83. But we were surprised because he didn't know us, you know, and then we speak Spanish.

  84. But it was a big surprise for us when he said that because I didn't, I was not looking for

  85. that, you know, I was looking just to come to the church and sit down and stay there.

  86. Not just to go for, you know, for mission or to do something as a ministry with our

  87. own people.

  88. I can't really remember when Pastor Roe went to Uganda, but the thing is, one night he

  89. just wake up and God spoke to him about the mission in El Salvador.

  90. And from that time when he came back to Australia, he spoke to us and he said, he said, just

  91. God spoke to him at that time and he was thinking that we were called just to go and ministry

  92. our people over there in El Salvador.

  93. So it was a really, you know, exciting, but at the meantime, it was something that I didn't

  94. know how to do it.

  95. Celia didn't know, but we were willing to go.

  96. We went to El Salvador in 2007 on December, but we really started in 2008 over there when

  97. we left Australia.

  98. We didn't know what to take it.

  99. We just got two suitcases and just we went off, you know, and we didn't know where, how

  100. we were going to do there, but seeing the way we were going, just God was giving us

  101. instruction how to do it.

  102. Well, we started the church over there and we had to go and see people.

  103. And we, most of them probably were living in the places where, you know, it's not for

  104. many people just to go.

  105. But the thing is, we every day, Celia and I, we was visiting them and talking to them

  106. about God and inviting them because we already planned.

  107. We had to do every two week service because we didn't have a building or a place where.

  108. But the thing is, people, they were so happy to receive us.

  109. And when our first service in the land, you know, under the tree, in the Middle East coffee

  110. plantation, many people came.

  111. It was very amazing because seeing in that way, sometimes we think God doesn't work

  112. in that way, but God prepared everything.

  113. When He sent you somewhere and you don't know how to do it, you don't know where you can

  114. go, God is already prepared this place or the hard people to receive you there.

  115. In this case, we didn't have where to go or where we're going to buy the land or we're

  116. going to stay.

  117. But my brother, he went over there to the place and he didn't know, Celia and I, we're

  118. going to El Salvador for a mission.

  119. And he, one day he decided to go to the place and bought three lots, you know, three pieces

  120. of land and where the church is now.

  121. And he said to me, I was thinking of you because I thought you was coming to El Salvador one

  122. day and I thought to buy this one or to hold this one for you.

  123. And then at the time I start waking up or thinking how God is good, is working in my

  124. brother's life, just to be able for him to, you know, to buy or to hold this land for

  125. us.

  126. You know, I think God has prepared people, my brothers, hard just to hold the land for

  127. us.

  128. Where we started over there in the church in 2008, the beginning, but we already spent

  129. one year with our building just going in the middle of the coffee plantation, you know,

  130. and having a meeting there.

  131. The only one that we have or where we bought was an 80 chair and to put them over there

  132. and the children was helping us to put them together and to wait for the people.

  133. And the thing is, one year without, you know, building, just start thinking how we can,

  134. we're going to do this, how are we going to do that?

  135. Sally and I, we were having some, a little bit rough time when I said Sally and I, because

  136. we were waking up, but the season, the season, the rainy season over there is six months

  137. and the summer season is six months.

  138. So we were most of the time, you know, under the rain and it was a little bit difficult

  139. at the time, but I just think it's worse.

  140. It's really good just to see now how God was moving in that way.

  141. You know, he is molding us the way as a missionary, you know, to be able to understand that it's

  142. not easy, but it is possible.

  143. And the second time we went to Salvador, we spent 18 months over there.

  144. It was longer.

  145. And then we were able just to start retaining wall and the wall we built, you know, most

  146. of the time I can say it's not in one way, but the thing is, it was the building was

  147. up, you know, people was able to work with us and the building just went up.

  148. In one, I can say in one year, but constantly everything it came to the point that the building

  149. now is really good.

  150. I can say it's probably, it can be probably around 250 people in the church.

  151. And we just built a church and now we have some children church next to the church.

  152. And also we have the house that we built when we go over there, we have our own house just

  153. to sleep so we don't have to pay somewhere else just to go for, you know, when we go

  154. to mission.

  155. Everything is running okay now.

  156. Ladies is still, you know, preaching over there and they, and they just, I just believe

  157. they're capable just to continue preaching that.

  158. Yes, today is very important for me to acknowledge all of you brothers and sisters here at the

  159. Logan City Christian Church.

  160. Well, with United World Ministries, you know, I just thank you for that because all, all

  161. this time you've been supporting us and I just believe this is the mission is for all

  162. of us, some of us, some of us, some of us we can, we can go, some of us maybe we can

  163. do mission here.

  164. It's just been praying and supporting people just to go over there.

  165. But for us, it's been so great and I just thank, I just thank all of you for your support.

  166. When God work, God just put your heart to help.

  167. And it's so many thing to do in El Salvador, you know.

  168. If you can still supporting us, it should be great, you know, especially for prayer,

  169. maybe with us and praying for us.

  170. And I just believe your support is going to be really great.

  171. Okay.

  172. Why don't we welcome pastors Francisco and Celia.

  173. These guys, the steps are the same height both sides so it doesn't matter.

  174. I can honestly say that this man and woman of God, what you see is what you get.

  175. They're genuine, they love people, they're just great people.

  176. We happen to be related now too with your daughter, our son married and share the same

  177. grandchildren but God is doing a wonderful thing.

  178. So I'm going to hand over to Celia.

  179. We love you guys, you guys are very special, very, very special.

  180. Well, when we are, when the preacher says we're going to talk about missions, everybody

  181. says here we go, they are going to ask for money again.

  182. But mission is not just money.

  183. You know that when we, the first time when we go, money is the thing that we didn't

  184. carry, no money with us.

  185. But we were happy and we know that the Lord was going to provide for us.

  186. We were not worried about what, where we were going to live or for food or anything for

  187. our needs.

  188. We were not worried about money at all.

  189. And you know the Lord is faithful and he provides for us.

  190. You know that going for a mission, if somebody doesn't have a call, don't last long.

  191. Because we don't know, for example, if we don't have much, we have to use what we can.

  192. As you saw in the photos that they were on the video, those photos ask for the children's

  193. church.

  194. You know the children's church?

  195. Kids sitting on the floor and we think, oh well, we need a children's church and we have

  196. to use what we have.

  197. We have some little block of wood and in an occasion some rocks.

  198. Kids sit on the rocks and we have to make it possible.

  199. As soon as the time was passing, we were able to get some chairs.

  200. So we sat on the chairs.

  201. And then we used anything that we had.

  202. At the beginning we didn't have electricity, so we had services early.

  203. Nothing at nighttime.

  204. And if we have something at nighttime, we went to have home groups at home because there

  205. was no light.

  206. But when it was going to start raining, we said, oh, we need to put some ceiling because

  207. we have walls, walls all around, but we didn't have roof.

  208. No roof.

  209. So we start putting the roof on top so we can get inside without getting wet in the

  210. rainy season.

  211. Because over there when it rains, there are storms, no showers, storms.

  212. So we need to be covered.

  213. After that we decided that we need some electricity.

  214. But before putting some electricity, we have to put the doors and something on the wall.

  215. We didn't have windows, but we have the screen on the wall, on the window to protect.

  216. So we put that on and then we can put electricity.

  217. So we can start having services at night.

  218. So we were using whatever we can as we can and we were not complaining about not having

  219. electricity, not having money, not having a place, not having chairs.

  220. No, we didn't complain about that.

  221. We were using what we have.

  222. And the Lord was providing slowly, this first, this next, and this now.

  223. So it took us some time to build the church, but now we are happy with the church that

  224. we have.

  225. So it's going to use what the Lord provides and his guidance, his protection.

  226. And the money he provides for us too.

  227. So it's good to work in the mission.

  228. Anyone is welcome, if you want to go over there.

  229. And it's going to be great.

  230. Thank you.

  231. We've decided we're going to get Willy to interpret into Ukraine so that his congregation

  232. can hear.

  233. Thank you, Willy.

  234. Thank you.

  235. Thank you.

  236. Buenos dias, hermana Cecilia, hermano Elvira.

  237. Buenos dias, hermana Cecilia, hermano Ernesto.

  238. Dios le bendiga.

  239. Okay.

  240. I've just been so grateful to be here today, just presenting this interview, even the speech

  241. that you saw already.

  242. I just remember the day we went, two weeks before we went.

  243. I asked Pastor Rob, how can I do this over there in El Salvador?

  244. He said to me, God will lead you, he will guide you where he want you to do.

  245. And then said, well, wow, I wasn't expecting that.

  246. I wasn't expecting that because I saw he was going to give me some, you know, I got this

  247. study here.

  248. This is here for you just to go through.

  249. Okay.

  250. And it was a little bit hard for me at the time, but you know, yes, God made his way.

  251. So we're going to go to Acts 13.47.

  252. We're going to see some story over there, how God lead people just to go, you know,

  253. and the people who really need to become safe at the time.

  254. I'm going to read Acts 13.47.

  255. Even I'm going to start from 46.

  256. Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, it was necessary that the word of God should

  257. be spoken to you first, but since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting

  258. life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

  259. 47.

  260. For so the Lord has commanded us, I have said you light to the Gentiles that you should

  261. be for salvation to the end of the earth.

  262. 47.

  263. Well, in verse 47, the Bible said command.

  264. He said the Lord has commanded us, and when he said command us as his children, we need

  265. to obey what he said to us to do it.

  266. We need to respond.

  267. Now we can respond that.

  268. I'm sure we are now obedient to God.

  269. I got some examples, these two men, they were very obedient to God.

  270. Abraham, he was known as a father of the faith.

  271. He was believing at the time that God has a purpose for him.

  272. You know, he already said, okay, God, I go.

  273. He being asking to take his children to obey, even he gave his own son.

  274. And you all know the story of that.

  275. He went to the mountain and he was preparing something for the sacrifice.

  276. But you can see that at that point there, it was obedient there.

  277. Are we obedient to God?

  278. We need to obey God.

  279. The other man was Moses.

  280. He always saying something like Francisco sometimes said, I don't speak Spanish, I don't

  281. like to do this because they're not going to understand me.

  282. Moses was the same.

  283. At the time, probably many people around him, around Moses didn't see the potential that

  284. he had.

  285. They see the potential in Moses, but God already saw that.

  286. We're going to read in Isaiah 6-8.

  287. We need to become disponible for God.

  288. We need to be disponible for God.

  289. We need to be a by-law for him.

  290. Let's go Isaiah 6-8.

  291. The Bible said, I also, I hear the voice of the Lord saying, saying, who shall I send

  292. and who will go for us?

  293. And I say, here I am, send me.

  294. You know this man, this Moses, he was already putting himself available to that call.

  295. So how put ourselves now at this time available for God?

  296. At this time, even at that time when Moses was, God is always looking for people to be

  297. able to go and be able to warn the people in the world and become, and be repent, and

  298. become to repent before God.

  299. When God call us, I just believe we need to respond because he's like our father, you

  300. know, biological father.

  301. When they call, we need to go.

  302. And when God send us or give us a call to be a visionary or preach in the shopping center,

  303. he send us with something there when we need to be able to use it.

  304. First of all, we can say to people, God bless you.

  305. And some people become surprised because they never hear someone bless them.

  306. See that is a calling from God to us just to go and preach the gospel.

  307. At the same time, we're not going alone.

  308. We go already the power from God.

  309. And he always with us.

  310. He put words in our tongue, we are able to speak.

  311. I'm going to read Acts 1-8.

  312. And the Bible says, but you shall receive the power when the Holy Spirit has come upon

  313. you and you shall be witness to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria and to the end of

  314. the earth.

  315. My brothers, what this verse is speaking about the Holy, the power of the Holy Spirit.

  316. So obedient is the key words in this mission here.

  317. Because to be obedient is open the door to the Holy Spirit to come and work in us and

  318. give us a power.

  319. We really need to listen the voice of God.

  320. You know, sometime in the world too many voices around.

  321. We need to identify which voice is from God.

  322. I just mentioned in the interview, you know, many of us can go, but many of us can stay.

  323. Everything is still doing the mission.

  324. For those one who stay here, you know, pray, it's very important for us to cover, you know,

  325. wherever we go over there.

  326. You know, everywhere we can go and speak to people, it must be a very successful something

  327. to do the very successful work.

  328. Because we know we are flesh, yes, yes, trying to become our self higher.

  329. We just come in with the with the power of the Holy Spirit who guide us to speak.

  330. I just got a little bit story there.

  331. You know, Philip, when he went to speak with the Ethiopian man.

  332. I think I'm going to read this one, okay.

  333. We're going to go to Acts 8.26.

  334. I'm going to read this one to 26 to 40.

  335. You will be able to see how God worked through Philip, you know, but Philip was able to hear

  336. the voice and obey what God was saying to him.

  337. Okay, now, now, angels of the Lord spoke to Philip saying,

  338. Arise and go toward to the south along the road which was which go down from Jerusalem

  339. to Gaza.

  340. This is this is the desert.

  341. So he stayed sleeping.

  342. Now he arose and went and behold a man of Ethiopia of great authority under Candace

  343. the Queen of Ethiopia, who has charged all the treasury and has come to Jerusalem to

  344. worship was returning and sitting in his chariot.

  345. He was reading Isaiah the prophet.

  346. Then the spirit said to Philip, go near and overtake this chariot.

  347. So Philip ran to him and here he was reading the prophet Isaiah and said, do you understand

  348. what you are reading?

  349. See there, this is a big point there.

  350. We need to go to the precise time when God said, just go.

  351. And he said, how can I unless someone guide me?

  352. And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.

  353. The place in the scripture which he was reading, he read was this.

  354. He was led as a ship to the slaughter and his alarm before each share is silent.

  355. So he opened not his mouth.

  356. In his humiliation, his justice was taken away and who will declare his generation?

  357. So the angel answered Philip and said, I ask you of whom does the prophet say this?

  358. Of himself or someone else?

  359. Then the Philip opened his mouth and beginning at this scripture, preached Jesus to him.

  360. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, see here

  361. is water, what hinders me from being baptized?

  362. So when we hear the voice of God and be able to obey his voice, everything was smooth over

  363. there even the man was ready to be baptized.

  364. In his heart he was already saying God, I like you.

  365. And then Philip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may.

  366. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.

  367. See how good it is, how joyful can be for us when we go and speak to people.

  368. And they received the message with that open heart.

  369. You know at the same time God sent us, but at the same time God is working in the people

  370. heart to receive.

  371. Now when they come up out of the water, the spirit of the Lord caught Philip away so that

  372. the eunuch saw him no more and he went on his way rejoicing.

  373. How good was that, you know, even for Philip, the feeling that he had that someone was safe

  374. at that time.

  375. Even though this man saw Philip just taking away, but this man didn't sit along the road,

  376. on the sides of the road, didn't sit there.

  377. This man, this eunuch, didn't sit on the sides of the road and stay there.

  378. And he just saw, but he just continued, he said, the Bible said he just went walking

  379. and rejoicing, you know, just looking for the next one that God was preparing for them

  380. to preach.

  381. But Philip was found at our sorts and passing through the, through, he preached in all the

  382. city till he came to Caesarea.

  383. See this man here really took the gospel to his own country, now is Ethiopia.

  384. So we really need to answer or we really need to hear the voice of God able to go and walk

  385. because the angel spoke to Philip because he already knew, you know, there is someone

  386. there who really need God.

  387. Let's do it.

  388. Let's go to Acts 9, 18.

  389. My brothers and sister, the turning point for us as a church, as a missionary is obedience.

  390. For us it is very important to be obedient to God.

  391. God has a word for us that we can deliver to them.

  392. God was preparing this man, especially this man.

  393. This man, his name is Ananias.

  394. He was going to have an encounter with Saul of the Tarsus at that time.

  395. You know, but even Ananias was saying, Lord, do you know this man is having so many trouble

  396. to you saints?

  397. He have a letter from the very high authority.

  398. And he can kill you people.

  399. But God said, this man is going to, I'm going to use this man as a vessel for the, it's

  400. going to be good for me.

  401. I'm going to read from Acts 9, 17.

  402. And the Bible said, Ananias went his way and entered the house, and lying his hand on him,

  403. he said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has

  404. sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

  405. 19.

  406. Immediately, they fell from his eyes, something like a skull, and he received his sight at

  407. once, and he arose and was baptized.

  408. As a Christian, we can have so many things, we can have so many questions.

  409. Questioning God.

  410. 20.

  411. It looked like Ananias was saying, God, what happened here?

  412. You know, you sent me to see this man?

  413. And even I think he said to God, God, he can kill me.

  414. Let's go to the same chapter, but in number 10.

  415. Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias.

  416. To him the Lord said, in a vision, Ananias, and he said, Here I am Lord.

  417. So the Lord said to him, Arise and go to the street called Stride and inquire at the house

  418. of Judah, for one called soul of Starsus, for behold, he is praying there.

  419. In the vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming and putting his hand on him so that

  420. he may receive his sight.

  421. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many about this man.

  422. How much harm he has done to you, sign in Jerusalem.

  423. And here he has authority from the from the chief priests to ban all who call on your

  424. name.

  425. But the Lord said to him, Go, for he is a chosen vessel of mine to bear my name before

  426. Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

  427. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name sake.

  428. And Ananias went his way and entered to the house.

  429. And the Bible said he put his hand on him and started praying.

  430. And see how God was preparing Ananias.

  431. And you can see this man here, soul of Starsus, now is apostle Paul who wrote the first part

  432. of the New Testament.

  433. Because of him we hear the good news.

  434. Because Paul already was making sell a Bible for God.

  435. And that's why we have the Gospel, that's why we have Christian today.

  436. Because the first man was able to be obedient and go.

  437. He already recognized the power of the Holy Spirit in him, able to walk and just talk

  438. to people.

  439. My brothers and sisters, I just believe you all have a big potential before God.

  440. Sometimes ourselves we feel just a little bit, maybe I cannot do that, I can't do that,

  441. sometimes too hard, or this one here, how can I do that?

  442. I just believe today is the day for we all must hear the voice of God and say, God, I'm

  443. here.

  444. Use me.

  445. Use me.

  446. We need to become a by-law for God.

  447. We must give ourselves to God.

  448. How many people we will be able, how can I put it this way, how many people over there

  449. are waiting for you just to go?

  450. Or how many missionaries over there is be able to hear?

  451. I support you through my prayers over there because God will protect you wherever you

  452. go.

  453. I just believe today too that God is speaking to us.

  454. What is to desire today in your heart to be obedient to God and say, God, I'm here?

  455. How many of you would you like to go for a mission?

  456. How many?

  457. How many of us are ready to go for a missionary work?

  458. It is good when we acknowledge that because God start working in our heart, putting something

  459. there, His power to prepare us to say, God, I'm just going to serve you alone.

  460. I just say thank God for this.

  461. Thank God for this church because we already have a church that is able to go to the nation

  462. and preach the Gospel.

  463. So we must be able for God.

  464. Amen.

  465. I'm just going to ask a call if anyone need a prayer in that direction, the missionary

  466. or something that God has put in your heart to serve him in the way as a missionary or

  467. someone to be intercessor even here.

  468. I'm just calling you if you want to pray.

  469. To be able to pray because you know God start in your heart doing something new just right

  470. now.

  471. If you need any prayer for sickness or something there, I just believe God will heal you.

  472. But it's okay.

  473. If not, it is okay.

  474. I just say God, thank you for my brothers and sisters that you've been keeping them well

  475. and healthy.

  476. And I just this way how we can just serve better to you God.

  477. Thank you everyone.

  478. That's been the message.

  479. I hope you just take it.

  480. Amen.

  481. God bless you too, Willie.

  482. Let's hear it for Willie as well.

  483. Let's put on the spot for Pastor Francisco.

  484. These guys, when the scripture says, we might come over here a bit.

  485. When the scripture says that those that forsake all and leave their lands and their families,

  486. that is a very real thing.

  487. And I've witnessed Pastor Francisco and Celia, their own personal life and their families

  488. when they've been over there for 18 months and the family, new family with children,

  489. grandchildren coming along and missed out on quite a lot.

  490. They missed out on a lot of things that the average Aussie wouldn't miss out on.

  491. So your rewards are great in heaven, but I also believe your rewards are here as well.

  492. But the mission over there is thriving.

  493. It's really, really powering on.

  494. And especially in a time when the gospel is a little bit difficult in places to preach,

  495. but it's moving ahead powerfully.

  496. Thank you for your commitment and your service to the Lord's work to see the Christian church

  497. growing.

  498. Amen.

  499. Especially in El Salvador.

  500. God bless you.

  501. God bless you.

  502. Thank you.

  503. Amen.

  504. Well, we're going to receive an offering for the mission.

  505. Mission El Salvador has been operating since 2008.

  506. And I do remember the call you left with two suitcases, a lot of tears and no money in

  507. the bank.

  508. But see, the thing is a vision already incorporates the finances.

  509. Oh, come on.

  510. We can get a better response than that.

  511. The vision that God gives already has that waiting.

  512. And in faith, they left their home and went to already find out when they got there, the

  513. brother had already purchased three parcels of land.

  514. And as they went onto that land and started clearing it by hand, a member of the council

  515. noticed that they were doing it tough and asked them, would you like one of our machines

  516. to come and clear it for you?

  517. And so the council came and cleared the land with a machine.

  518. And then people started coming and helping putting a fence around the place.

  519. I mean, this is what was already waiting.

  520. And I believe there are many people here this morning that you have a calling, whether it

  521. be here in Australia or overseas, that the provision's in the going.

  522. It's just like the, you know, the Philip, he went and it was already their way.

  523. The Ethiopian was there waiting.

  524. I know in this congregation here this morning, there's some of you that have spoken to me

  525. about a calling, that you're called to go somewhere, do something, but the calling doesn't

  526. happen in the waiting.

  527. It happens in the doing and actually going.

  528. And I want to encourage you there.

  529. Something that came to me just quickly before I close is that some have said to me, I've

  530. done my bit in missions, I just want to sit, chill and, you know, relax.

  531. But do you know in this nation of Australia, there are many nursing homes, aged care facilities

  532. that are crying out for Christians to share the gospel.

  533. They're crying out for them.

  534. And let me encourage you, if you feel the call to do that, I don't think you have to

  535. pray about that one.

  536. I think you just come and see me and we can help line it up for you.

  537. And you'll never be so fulfilled in your life when you're out there doing what God's called

  538. you to do.

  539. We realize there is Pastor Betty has made it known to us, there's no retirement in ministry.

  540. Amen.

  541. Can I get an amen on that?

  542. There's no retirement in ministry.

  543. We're in it for the long haul.

  544. There are no exit clauses in your calling.

  545. We're here to the end.

  546. Let's take as many souls to heaven with us, you know, to honor our Jesus, what He did

  547. for us.

  548. So we're going to receive an offering this morning.

  549. And look at this young guy here.

  550. He's nearly as tall as me and I'm standing on the stage.

  551. Praise the Lord.

  552. How tall are you now?

  553. You don't know.

  554. That must be a different measurement I'm not familiar with.

  555. But anyway, if you have an offering to give this morning into the mission, why don't you

  556. come out and knock yourself out?

  557. What do you reckon, Kai?

  558. Praise the Lord.

  559. We're really excited about the future of El Salvador.

  560. Pastor Francisco, thank you for sharing that and encouraging us to keep our minds focused

  561. on missions also.

  562. You know, in life we watch the news, we do life and we can forget about the things that

  563. really matter as well.

  564. And that is going out and preaching the gospel and supporting what actually is needed out

  565. there.

  566. And so we are very, very grateful again.

  567. We thank our Ukrainian family.

  568. Pastor Vasily, if you can give us a wave.

  569. He's the pastor of the Ukrainian church.

  570. Could you stand up for just a minute?

  571. This is the pastor.

  572. So we're about to go into the back room and share a meal together.

  573. And I do believe there's some yummy Ukrainian food too.

  574. I'll be the first.

  575. I'll be the first to eat it.

  576. Amen.

  577. Father, we thank you for today.

  578. We thank you Lord God for this mission of El Salvador.

  579. You know, can I just share something?

  580. We are believing God to raise about 10 grand because they believe in God in the mission

  581. for a really good projector, data projector, computer, a little bit more sand equipment

  582. because they're going to be opening up the church in the area of a, what would you call

  583. it, a cinema?

  584. Because when we set up a little screen there, when I was there one time, people came from

  585. everywhere and so what an opportunity to play evangelistic videos in Spanish and people are

  586. just going to come just bring the popcorn I say and it's just all going to happen.

  587. And then we have a very capable pastor to lead people to Christ.

  588. And so we just believe in God for about the 10k, was it?

  589. $10,000.

  590. $10,000 is not a lot of money.

  591. Just ask, just ask John, he's loaded.

  592. Okay.

  593. Can we believe together?

  594. Father, we believe in you for that money.

  595. Lord, to just come and do what you call them to do.

  596. We know that that facility is going to be opened up and used to bring many, many more

  597. souls into the kingdom of God.

  598. And in the name of Jesus, we all say, Amen.

  599. Amen.

  600. God bless you and have a wonderful day, but we're going to go into the back room.

  601. Yeah, I'll talk to him in a minute.

  602. God bless you and chow down.

  603. Thank you for joining us.

  604. We pray God's richest blessing on your life.

  605. If you haven't already, make sure to join us on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

  606. You can also find us at LoganCityChristianChurch.com.

  607. See you next week.
