-
I'm going to talk about how God speaks through dreams. We've got books in the back there.
-
My wife wasn't there to share them, but they're powerful. It's a most fascinating book subject
-
in the Bible. I want to touch on this tonight. This morning we dealt with how God makes us
-
great. We looked at the life of David and how God prepared him for greatness or told
-
us how God worked in his life. If you want the discs for those things, you'll
-
find them here this morning. You can purchase them through our brother. He'll be in the
-
back there. If somebody will, please let me have the tape of that. I felt that's a very
-
significant message for those who want to understand how God prepares us and uses us
-
powerfully for his glory. Dreams. I have often in my life, I just told
-
you about 10 days ago, God warned me about this very experience. I didn't know how it
-
would come, but I said to my wife, you're facing something, some attack. I said, I just
-
could place the blood over her. It could be much worse, I think, if we didn't have that
-
protection of God. I don't know, but I didn't have the strength to overcome it in my dream.
-
That was unusual for me and I should have taken more notice of it, to be honest with
-
you. I didn't put enough significance on the experience.
-
In March 2004, I dreamt about a church in Brisbane that I would start. It would start
-
small. I wrote it down long before I got this meeting here. It grew quickly and I had another
-
dream before that, a vision about the greatness of the church here. It gave me great comfort
-
and peace and great understanding of the ways of God and I was very grateful.
-
My mother, before we came to this country, if you read our book, Our Life Story, you
-
recall the fact that we were supernaturally led by a vision to Australia. We tried to
-
go to South America and God shut the door. America and Canada, because my mother who
-
nursed her first husband, who was one of the great revivalists of Russia, had died of tuberculosis.
-
At a young age of 28, he was really the vice-chairman of the whole Pentecost movement at the age
-
of 24. A very powerful man. He lived before his time. A mighty man of God. Awesome. I'm
-
writing a book about him now in Russia at this moment. I came down here to interview
-
my sister not so long ago to find out some details concerning his life. We tried everywhere.
-
Every time we did so, there was always the scars on her lungs because she nursed her
-
husband and she had no tuberculosis, but the scars were there. One night she had a dream
-
vision of Australia. The angel gave her a Jeremiah 5150, you better escape the sword,
-
stand not still. Remember the Lord have far often led to Jerusalem, come into your minds.
-
It was very powerful, very significant. My mother in the morning got us all together.
-
That's why I know how real this stuff is because we're a very supernatural family. Got us together
-
and God's calling us to Australia. He said the angel hurried us. We're in a hurry. This
-
was about two or three weeks before the deal was lost for black Polish. My father was in
-
the army that could get a free passage by ship to Australia. That was in 1950. Consequently,
-
she went to X-rays, no scars. The angel had put his hand over her body. We're in a few
-
weeks after that. We're on a ship, the Strathmore, traveling to Australia. Amen, church. There's
-
many experiences. Some time ago when I was living in Australia, seven years ago I used
-
to come back for my vacation. I was in an apartment with my wife on the Gold Coast.
-
One morning at four o'clock in my dream vision, a Roberts appeared to me. He was sitting there
-
and he said he called me over. I went with some trepidation and I knocked beside him.
-
He put his hand over me and said the anointing could increase seven times and he was gone.
-
I'm still expecting more. Amen. I remember that morning, every morning after that I was
-
up early praying in the midst of my vacation, crying out to God because God was speaking
-
to us through a dream. He does. Can you say amen to that? He does. I remember once in
-
America, eight months before that, Dr. Cho appeared in a dream for me and prophesied
-
over my life. He prophesied things about my future. Dr. Cho, you're on dear from Korea.
-
Prophecyed my things about the future. He gave me an amazing, even prophecy can come
-
to mighty men of God and dream. Amazing words that I can't disclose to people, but God speaks
-
through dreams. Can you say amen? Very powerfully. Elias Howe credited the invention of the modern
-
sewing machine to a dream. A Nobel Prize winner, Neal's Boer said it was in a dream that God
-
gave him the structure of the atom. Through a dream, God showed him what would happen.
-
Things have always been for years. Remember when King Abimelech, when Abram had this weakness
-
of never telling the truth about his wife, this frighten him, I do something to him,
-
she's my sister. This guy, I think, really married her. If you read that, I was pouring
-
over that again today. Then in a dream, Genesis 20 verse 3, God came to him and said, you're
-
a dead man. That's how God taught us. He said, you've married a woman that belongs to somebody
-
else. He soon fixed that up. God in a dream, God came to Pharaoh. God warned him and he
-
blessed him. He came out with great riches. It says Abram came out with great riches and
-
honor because a dream inspired the Pharaoh. Now, our rationalistic society doesn't believe
-
that although there's a lot of people today, in more terms, the occult, believing in some
-
of the supernatural things that they do, and there's a lot of traditionalism in the church
-
that says the scriptures are sufficient. Have you heard that? We don't need anything supernatural.
-
The word of God is sufficient. Only the scripture is what we need and nothing more. Well, I
-
can show you now, I'm going to do a few minutes today, that sounds very logical, but it's
-
contradictory to scripture. For example, remember Joseph, when God Joseph, this is the Joseph
-
of Mary and Joseph. Remember God came to him when she was with child and she told him,
-
so he wanted to put away privilege. She didn't believe that she was given a child by the
-
Holy Ghost and he had a dream that says very clearly in the scriptures here in Matthew
-
1, 21, 22 it says, and Mary says, while he was thought on this period, the angel appeared
-
unto him in a dream. How? In a dream saying, fear not, she shall bring forth a son that
-
shall be called in the name of Jesus, the child of the Holy Ghost. So God prepared,
-
now again, he didn't do it straight away. Poor Mary went through some dilemmas before
-
it happened and God at times works in a unique way. We should tell him it was before her.
-
We'd say without embarrassment, but God works in unusual ways at times. We expect
-
us to trust him. Can you say amen? Now he could have turned to the scriptures and remembered
-
that the Messiah would come as Isaiah 7, 14 says, behold the virgin shall be with child.
-
Surely the scripture would have been sufficient quicken to his mind, quicken to his life.
-
But you see, and then of course his name would be called Jesus, which is the Hebrew Jehoshua,
-
which means to save. And he could have, there's a number of scriptures God could have given
-
him, but God came to him in a dream. That's how God works. Can you say amen? Now to protect
-
his son from the murderous wrath of Pharaoh, of Herod, you find in Acts 2, 3, in Matthew
-
2, 13, that again it says, and the Lord appeared unto Joseph in a dream saying, rise, take
-
your young child. It's such a flimsy thing as a dream. He trusted the future of the Son
-
of God. So dreams are not flimsy. Dreams can be important. Come on church. Dreams at times
-
are from God, very powerful. And then God again, you could have read the scripture,
-
Black Hosea 11, 1, it says out of Egypt, if I called my son, he said, well, you better
-
go to Egypt. But God gave him scriptures was not enough. God gave him direction from the
-
word of God, no, from a dream. In the book of Acts, you'll find when Paul went to Corinth,
-
again people came down, Acts 18, and stirred up strife, stirred up reactions. In the previous
-
city, you were stoned to death and God raised him up. And I think you could have been fearful
-
about that. But in Acts 18, verses 9 to 11, it says, Lord spoke to him in the vision.
-
Be not afraid by night. These vision dreams come by night. I've had what I call vision
-
dreams very clearly. They come in the night seasons. And God clearly gives us warnings
-
and directions and understanding of what's going on and what we maybe should do. For
-
example, you know, Paul could have just quoted Isaiah 54, 17, no weapon that is formed against
-
you shall prosper. You know, surely that's enough. He's got the scriptures. He knew the
-
Bible, didn't he? But you see, God prepared him. God strengthened him. God touched him
-
by a dream. I believe God does that. Can you say amen? In Numbers 12, 6, because I believe
-
dreams are the language of the Holy Spirit. In Numbers 12, 6, this is when the proper
-
Lord is among you. I reveal myself to him in visions. I speak to him in dreams. So some
-
of the great men of God at times receive dreams. In the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, in Joel
Joel 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2, it says young men shall see visions, old men shall dream dreams. I don't like the
-
old men business, but dream dreams. I agree with. And then in Acts 2, when Paul talks
-
about this, he also mentions this. And when the Holy Ghost fell in Acts 2, 17, he says,
-
your young daughter shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall
-
dream dreams. So God seems to work in this way very powerfully. Can somebody agree with
-
me? In Job 33, 13, it's the way that God communicates. Even these men talk to him and say, but God
-
speaks, that speak now in one way, now another. The man that may perceive it in a dream, in
-
a vision of the night when deep sleep falls upon a man. Very exact, very exact about,
-
it's normally about these experiences come at four o'clock in the morning and they understood
-
this. So if you're tuned into God, maybe there's more going on in your life than you realize.
-
Amen. Maybe more is happening in your experience than you realize, and it may be very much
-
from the presence of God. Now what's the purpose of the dream? Maybe to warn us. I remember
-
years ago, I was in Elizabeth and I had a lady who went to Bible college, but she never
-
continued to walk in that dimension. And in her dream, she was in a very high building
-
and she crashed to the ground and she wouldn't let me help her. And she, her hands were broken.
-
She's trying to get along like this. And I said to my wife, this is very unusual. What
-
do I do with this? And sure enough, a few weeks later, she had a very drastic accident with
-
another friend and she married an unbeliever and she always walked on that peripheral.
-
I went to visit her and minister to her, but she always walked on that peripheral level.
-
And God was warning, warning us, come on church, helping us. Because for example, remember
-
when, when Pharaoh had the dream of the, of the seven fat, fat cattle eating the seven
-
skinny cattle, and then the seven very fat grains eating the skinny heads of grain. And
-
then the interpretation came that be seven, seven years of prosperity and then seven years
-
of famine. And God used Joseph who had the great interpretation of the dreams to know
-
what to do and was exalted to the highest level in that kingdom because God spoke to
-
him powerfully in the dream. In Genesis, in the, in the Daniel chapter four, we find that
-
Nebuchadnezzar had an unusual dream. He had a dream of the whole nation. Remember the
-
head of gold and so on. And then later on he had a dream about himself, a very unusual
-
dream and none of the magicians could help him. They interpreted the dream and he said
-
in verse 13, I saw in the vision of my head upon my bed, behold a watcher and Holy one
-
came down from heaven. He cried aloud and said, that's you down the tree and cut off
-
his branches, shake off his leaves, scatter the fruits, the beast get away and so on.
-
And then he asked Daniel to interpret it. And Daniel said, I wish I, it wasn't what
-
I think it is. This is my interpretation of what he said. He said, God gives you 12 months
-
to repent. You're too proud. You're letting this whole thing get to your head. You don't
-
want to repent. You'll go like a beast in the field and you'll be go through terrible
-
experiences. But it didn't repent. And remember he became like an animal and the Jew had rest
-
upon him and for 12 months he lived in this demonic, a mental dilemma. And in this state
-
where he grew like philis, it says, I don't know what kind of state he was in, but it
-
was pretty bad. And then when he came to himself, he began to glorify God and he's an unsaved
-
man. Come on church. And God warned him 12 months before to repent. God warned him to
-
change, to humble himself and he wouldn't do so. And God then had to deal with it another
-
way. He was a world rule. I wonder if God speaks to some of the men today. What if God
-
ever spoke to Hitler and he could have been a different kind of man? I don't know. Whether
-
God warns, I don't know. But I know God warns through dreams. Come on church. And unless
-
there is sometimes repentance, you know, I remember one morning in the early days of
-
Mount Gravatt, I had a vision of hell. The most horrendous experiences in my book I've
-
ever had. I walked through the cabins of hell. I saw people there. I saw the, it was horrendous
-
in my experience. And I remember I got on my knees and wept and sobbed for hours that
-
morning in the presence of God. But God was doing something in my life and I believe in
-
the life of the church. And God made me preach certain kinds of messages. But I believe at
-
times God warns us how to live, how to be careful. Can you say amen? And dreams can
-
be warnings to us. I remember when I was in Perth preaching in America, but the church
-
called me over to be the pastor and we wanted a convention first. And I said, well, I think
-
I'm coming, but there's some other conventions. So I came and we had a wonderful time. And
-
without me even asking, the vote didn't mean to be the pastor. But I said, nay. And I wouldn't
-
be here today if it was so. But anyway, a man came up to me, a prophet of God, just
-
a gentle man, known over there. And he said to me, I saw New York crumbling. I saw the
-
high rises of New York crumbling. He saw, I saw it flowing with blood. He saw 9-11.
-
And I didn't, you know, I was a bit skeptical myself. I said, what's this guy singing? I
-
said, I don't know, brother. I can't tell you why. He said, what does it mean? I said,
-
I don't know. But he saw 9-11. I know King Clement prophesied 9-11. He saw the airplanes
-
hitting the towers. Very cleavey, my very good friend of mine, King Clement. And God
-
at times warns to prepare what we could have done. I don't know. I know this, that I'm
-
just trying to remember now. King Clement, or somebody had a warning about one of the
-
prime ministers and one also concerning the president. And the president took notice because
-
he had with him at that time, the, what was the guy, the lawyer, the, what do you call
-
these guys in charge of all, attorney general. And he went to him and they planned a strategy
-
to keep the president protected. And they took it seriously. Thank God for it. Can you
-
say amen? Then God that protects men. I know even on Bill Clinton's day, a friend of mine
-
who was a president of a university, of a Christian university over there was led very
-
clearly of God. And so they wrote to the president and it opened the door in every big function
-
after that. They're always invited by the Clinton. They saw something in this man and
-
there was some warnings giving and God gives us men. Come on church, we should be like
-
that. Can you say amen? It's also used for encouragement, used for warning. It's used
-
for encouragement. God encourages us through dreams. Can you say amen? Like Paul that occasion
-
was encouraged and keep preaching here. I've got many in this city yet that are not saying
-
Paul keep preaching. And it was encouraged by the dream that he had. And God would use
-
dreams at times to encourage us, to say something to us that he's with us, like he did with
-
me, with our Roberts and with Dr. Cho Young Gi and other times. He encourages you in some
-
way to speak to our hearts. He uses it for guidance. For example, in act 16, in act book
-
of act 16, we notice there that Paul was journeying during the work of God and suddenly God stopped
-
and going to Phrygia, forbidden by the Holy Ghost. And then he said he'd go to the Phrygia,
-
verse 7. Of act 16, the spirit suffered not, and then in the vision appeared to Paul in
-
the night. That's how they come. They come in the night. They come in this vision dream
-
form. When I had the experience of the monk of that year from the beginning of that church,
-
there were great needs and people stand before me that were in that needy situation, in a
-
vision. They would say, I'm the one that needs help, one after the other, about six of them.
-
And I was able to handle it without anybody ever knowing the problem. And God gave me
-
the vision, the dream to handle it. And God does that. Can you say amen? And God got me
-
here, then God in the night came to him and he saw a man standing there of Macedonia and
-
come over and help us. And he knew it was the Lord guiding him to Europe. And the door
-
is to Europe, powerfully opening. He was guided to Europe by a dream, by a vision in the night.
-
I believe that. It's also used for intimacy with God. Like God came, remember, to Solomon
-
in 1 Kings chapter 3. And it says in the night, in Gideon, verse 5, in Gideon, the Lord appeared
1 Kings 3 chapter mention
-
to Solomon in a dream. He came to Solomon, spoke to Solomon in a dream. He said, what
-
do you want? What can I give you? And you notice here that Solomon, he said, I need
-
wisdom above everything else. Because you've asked for that, he said, I'll give you silver
-
and gold as much as you want. And God gave it to him. But you see, God spoke to him in
-
a dream. God revealed his purposes. God comforted him. God gave him great wisdom. There was
-
an intimate moment between God and Solomon. And God can come to you in dreams. Can you
-
say amen? And can be close to you and can speak to you. How many agree with me? How
-
many have witnessed that at times? I'm sure many of you have had. Like to Joseph, he revealed
-
the future to Joseph in a dream. Remember? And often relates to the places where you
-
live or where you are. He saw the sun and moon and star bowing down to him. Remember
-
that? And it was God showing him. And then part of it, he saw the sheaves, the grains,
-
and bowing to him. Again, it was out of the circumstances of his life. God used this to
-
speak to this man about his future. And of course, he became a great interpreter of dreams
-
and a great capacity to walk with God and to do the will of God. God speaks to unbelievers
-
in dreams. I know this, that many Muslims have had dreams about Christ. I've heard
-
some of the great men of God that Shul had on one day, but he's a spiritual, one of
-
the most brilliant men in America. He's an Indian who lectures at Yale often and does
-
a lot of work in India and around the world. Brilliant man. What a message. John Rich told
-
me he never had a message like it. He's spoken about the Shul, his church. Shul rarely gives
-
his pulpit to anybody, but he gave it to this guy. And he spoke about it in another session
-
he had because he works in that realm, how most Muslims have dreams about Christ because
-
God is trying to reach them. Amen, church. When I had that experience, remember 9-11,
-
I told you about, I was flying from Amsterdam to America on 9-11. And suddenly over the
-
loudspeaker, the voice came saying, America is shut down, ladies and gentlemen. I was
-
flying. And there was some thoughts that a KLM airplane had actually crashed. And my
-
son knew I was in one of those flights. I said, oh, I don't know if my dad's alive or
-
dead. And he rang my wife in the middle of the night. And she said, am I a widow or am
-
I still alive? So we landed in Montreal. I was not in that lot, thank God. We landed
-
in Montreal and they took us to a strombole in that beautiful spot where they play golf
-
to great mountains and a beautiful spot only for one night. Experienced on his own. But
-
the next morning there were people everywhere flying in. Because I'm very gregarious, I'm
-
told to everybody about Jesus. So you hear these fellows call me bishop. Glad to have
-
you here, bishop, and so on. And they talked to me. And I talked to them about the Lord.
-
But I found myself amongst a group of Muslims. And I told you that story before. Amongst
-
a group of Muslims. And I started sharing Jesus. All of them were Muslims, the whole
-
table. And they were fairly apprehensive because they knew it was a Muslim, they had done this.
-
And people were staring at them. And I found myself sitting with them having breakfast.
-
And I'm talking about the Lord to them. And a beautiful attractive lady with a husband
-
from Houston said, she said, my mother had many visions about Jesus. So I'm talking and
-
sharing. And one of these ladies with a hood on her like they wear came along with an interpreter.
-
And she said to me, I want to become a Christian. Amen. It was a wonderful experience. And I
-
was able to lead her. What I'm saying to you is, Muslims often have dreams. You see, when
-
I say this, if you make yourself available, people will always be there. They can share
-
Jesus with. Get up every morning and say, God, lead me to someone. Come on. Do not ever
-
pass the opportunity because God is looking for witnesses. They shall be witnesses. Do
-
not ever pass the opportunity to share with somebody, Lord, who have you got that I can
-
win to Jesus Christ. Can you say amen? Please don't lose that. Satan will do anything to
-
stop you doing that. He'll get you busy and get you involved in great spiritual matters
-
and the things you're supposed to do. And the wind soles for Christ. We don't do it,
-
church. Keep alive. Keep awake. That was one of the experience in my life. But I'm told
-
because often unbelievers have dreams. I told you this morning on the internet, my wife
-
found this. Somebody sent it to us. There's a hundred and a half million people in that
-
Middle East area who are Muslims who've come to Christ. Amen. Since 9-11. Isn't that wonderful?
-
God is moving. Now, there was research done. They tell us how by many pastors. And this
-
wasn't just a glib statement. This was done. Isn't that amazing? Praise God. God is moving.
-
Amen. And there will be a great revival. I've heard this often with prophecies from Benny
-
and others amongst the Muslims. They want to become the great. When they come to Christ,
-
they will... A friend of mine once said this. He's got a great church in Ghana. He said,
-
we need some Holy Ghost terrorists. They're so bold for God, for their understanding of
-
God, of their background. And Christians often are timid. Make us bold. Can you say amen?
-
And notice how God speaks to unbelievers. To ambidelech. He warned them about that. To
-
Pharaoh. He warned them about what was going on in his future. Remember? To Nebuchadnezzar.
-
These weren't Christians. These were unsaved people, so to speak. They weren't godly.
-
They weren't Israelites. But God spoke to them. And then remember Pilate's wife? How
-
God came to him in a dream? She said, the part that had nothing to do with this is just
-
man. And she was warned of God. She was warned in a dream. So God uses, talks to unbelievers.
-
Often in a dream. And to us too. He says in Daniel chapter 2 verse 13, what are these
-
dreams? It says, as for me, and for that Bible, the secret is not revealed to me. I mean,
-
with wisdom that I have more than one living and better in order. That the interpretation
-
may be made known to the king. That you may know the thoughts of your heart and mind.
-
So God does this. Dr. Wyatt used to be with us in Montcobac years ago. He was major research
-
on this. It says we're supposed to dream in the night. Every one of us is supposed to
-
dream. It's this, called this REM, the rapid eye movement, REM. And they place EEGs on
-
people. And normally the dreams happen just before you awake in the morning. About four
-
o'clock or that time, God gives you dreams. Now some of it, you know, they did the one
-
God kept waking him up in his dream. He became psychotic after a while. Because it's not
-
good to do that. Let people dream. Amen. Let them get through. We need dreams, psychologically.
-
God has made us like that. To heal us, to bless us. Good dreams, wonderful dreams. Now
-
why we ignore them is Dr. Morton Carl Schorr, who's president of Notre Dame, I don't know
-
if he's still in the house, but when he was at home, he was. He talks about that Plato
-
had three sources of knowledge, the five senses, reason, what he called divine madness, the
-
supernatural realm, the visions, the dreams. And the Eastern world, they came out of Plato,
-
lived very much in this environment. It was normal for them. They believed in it. They
-
expected it. That's why Cho, you know, is a different kettle of fish to a lot of us
-
here. That's why even South America, a great friend of mine, who is dead now, he passed
-
away, but the same as a number of them over there, they were powerfully used of God. And
-
he said that you in the Western society, they don't know much about the realms of the supernatural.
-
He would go into a city. He'd fast four to five days and find the demonic powers that
-
control that city. And he would go and fast in prayer and break that power. He'd have
-
incredible healings in the name of Jesus. He built a tremendous movement for God, and
-
his son is now in charge of it. But we at times in our Western society comes out of
-
what is called Aristotelian philosophy. I've told you that before, but this is the guy,
-
another guy that gave me an understanding of this, that we didn't believe in the supernatural.
-
The amazing thing is this, that great theologian Thomas Aquinas was very much influenced by
-
Aristotle. He wrote that great book called Summa Theologia, the beginning of theology,
-
magnificent work, and Protestants also took notice of it, but it was mixed with Aristotelian
-
philosophy. Thank God for the Holy Ghost, can you say amen? Thank God for the supernatural
-
realm. Thank God for the things that God has done with us, amen. I believe in this realm.
-
I believe God speaks to us, amen church. I believe God can talk to you. And it's, you
-
know, like top preachers will tell you, we've lost the art of meditation. We don't know
-
how to meditate before the Lord. To matter, I will talk about that one day. To just meditate
-
the word of God, to chew it over, to live in the word, to speak the word, to say the
-
word, to as you drive along, to keep speaking the word, can you say amen? Because it's very
-
biblical, amen church. It's very biblical. We have to meditate in the Lord. That's why
-
I chose book the fourth dimension became so powerful. How many read the fourth dimension?

The power of the book, that many people reacted to it because it doesn't suit our Western
-
culture. He went into this other dimension that God has for us, and to do visions and
-
dreams, the language of the Spirit, the supernatural realms of God, amen church. We have the power
-
to move and work and live it, and see the mighty works of God. Can somebody agree with
-
me? Amen. So, every one of us were told dreams per night. We were to interpret them, to find
-
what God is saying, then try to make out more than they are. When God speaks, it's very
-
clear, it's very clear, often also in color. Often they are repeated, the dream in the
-
night, not just once, you have it more than once. God often speaks to us in symbols, amen,
-
in symbols, things that God, for example, even in the Bible, you know, in Daniel, when
-
the nations of the world came along, God gave symbols of the nations. Remember that? Very
-
clearly. And like, for example, England has a symbol of a lion. America is a symbol of
-
an eagle. Russia is a symbol of a bear. Amen. And God at times does speak to us in symbols
-
to reveal dragons, often the picture, and I know movies are made like that, but movies
-
at times are pretty accurate, of demonic power, of demonic power, it's very clear. And you
-
know, the river often speaks of a great river of life. So God, for example, on one occasion,
-
this was in 19, I've got it written down, 1981 in January. We had camps those days in
-
non-cavat, and at times, of course, I was always trying to be there, and this was in
-
the midst of my vacation. So we only had one week off and stress wasn't there terribly,
-
and she was, couldn't sleep, and she had a very traumatic time physically. And I remember
-
so clearly that night, she had a dream from God, and she woke up totally transformed by
-
that dream. But the significance was this, when I got home, the first night after that,
-
I had a dream, I had written it down, I was playing in a park, and as we were playing
-
both together, my wife and I, this vicious dog came along with this man, an Alsatian,
-
a wolf dog, or whatever we call him in this country here. I don't know if he had a mouthpiece
-
or not, but no, that I remember. And I was concerned that that animal would be let loose.
-
But somehow, I was conscious of this, and as they passed me, no worries, and suddenly
-
when they got past me, this man had something controlling this thing. This dog attacked
-
Beth viciously, and I realized the dream was telling me this was a demonic attack, and
-
God just preserved her. But you see, the dogs at times like that are a symbol of demonic
-
attacks. Come on, church. A symbolism of an animal that comes like an enemy to try to
-
destroy us. And I could go on sharing examples, I've shared enough for my own life, I'm sure.
-
But what I'm saying to you is, I'm convinced that God, these days, sometimes I didn't do
-
this, but these days I write them down and put them in a book that God showed me, showed
-
me a church. Remember I told you 500 people, a very clean, that suddenly it would happen,
-
it would grow like that. So we have to hold on. Satan knows that, he doesn't like that,
-
he doesn't want this to break open. Come on, church. I was one to Jesus Christ, I found
-
Jesus at the age of 11, I had a dream. Mom and dad went to heaven. I was under conviction
-
for three months before that. Every mom and dad went to heaven, I got to the gates of
-
heaven, they wouldn't let me in. And I'm telling you, talking about a young boy at the age
-
of 11 with conviction. I used to walk down the street with these great preachers from
-
the youth of Christ, like Daniel Postey. My dad and him were talking and I was...I'm lost,
-
I'm lost. And I found Jesus. Come on, church. It was by my mother's dream of heaven that
-
I began the call of God in my life. She had a dream of heaven that's so quick in me, that's
-
so inspired me, that's so touched my life, that made me go after God and start witnessing
-
about Jesus. But it was out of a supernatural event. Amen, church. Like by a dream, Abraham
-
left his country. God uses this stuff. Can you say amen? He does speak. And I'm sure
-
if I open this room tonight, there'll be many of them. How many can say that God spoke to
-
them through a dream? Many have had it. I think many others would have had it if you
-
would listen to what God is trying to tell you. And I often said, God, if you've got
-
something, just speak to me in a dream tonight. Just reveal yourself. Can you say amen? God,
-
just speak in the...I remember in Elizabeth Church, my mother was very supernatural. I
-
mean, between...it was like mother and Jesus and me. You could never sin with my mother
-
around. No. I mean, she had...she could go to church and say, this man is stealing money.
-
She knew everything. I mean...and then, yes, I mean, she didn't like it actually. She said,
-
Lord, take it away from me. She saw this other guy once in a coffin. I remember that. And
-
he said, I'm not dead. And everybody's sitting around him and he was going through very traumatic
-
times. There was a man in the church, I'll mention his name, but I won't. He was dressed
-
up. He had this dirty, dirty garment on him. And she warned me, she said, be careful of
-
that man. And I was careful. And finally I left and the next pastor wasn't careful. And
-
he nearly wrecked the church. So God can warn us. Can you say amen? Thank you. We've got
-
good people around you. For example, remember Joseph and the butler and the baker? They
-
both had dreams when he was in prison. And the butler had this wonderful dream. He said
-
he had this vine and he had three branches pressed in three days. Remember that he says
-
he dreamt about the vine, the three branches. He took the grapes of the vine and pressed
-
them in the king's cup. And Joseph interpreted it and said, within three days, you'll be
-
elevated again and you'll be serving the Pharaoh. And the baker got encouraged to do it. And
-
he said, well, I had a dream too. He said he had kind of this bread and of course in
-
those days, that's how they would do it. And the birds ate out of the tray. It was uncommon
-
maybe to do that, to protect it. And he said, within three days, they're beating your body
-
in the streets. So that dream didn't help him very much, but it happened. And of course,
-
you might remember out of it, God opened incredible doors for them all. So we are called of God
-
in a supernatural way. I believe a lot of men, we search this, are called of God supernaturally.
-
Expect some supernatural, men and women, I mean, expect some supernatural, this young
-
lady, LaGranie, expect the men I mean you to get, expect some supernatural visitation
-
in your life. He's a supernatural God. Come on church. And he leads us supernaturally.
-
He will guide us. He will quicken us and he will show us mighty things to the glory of
-
his wonderful name. He will warn us. He comes to us and encourages us. I believe that with
-
all of my heart because he's a good God. Can I say amen? And he will show you wonderful
-
things from his presence. I think I told you this story and I'm going to close tonight.
-
In this, I'm going to get home to my wife as I can. When I had that heart operation
-
some two and a half years ago, after the operation, I couldn't pray, try to pray. Not interested.
-
A brother used to help me quite a bit. Michael's to come in for one week. He sort of served
-
me and helped me through this time to help there. My wife used to put Benny Hinn's tapes
-
beside me as I'd sit there. I just couldn't, I knew I was, finally I said Lord I'm desperate.
-
Help me out. One night a great man, I used to have a church in Houston. Pastor Jeff was
-
there with his wife and who else was from here? You were there. We went shopping to
-
a Clarence sale. I was pretty new in America at that stage too. The last thing he said
-
was Clarence, Clarence sale. I said where is Clarence? He had these deals for Clarence.
-
He looked around and said where is Clarence? Oh you mean a Clarence sale. Remember that?
-
We found the Clarence sale. But anyway, I had this church and God in His mercy grew
-
it. It went through very difficult times before I came. I had about 800 there in worship and
-
at one stage it went up and down a little bit. I had a brother there called Wes Warwick,
-
a Dr. Wes Warwick. Remember this moustache brother? This long moustache. Dr. Wes I used
-
to call him. He used to run the school there for me. We fought for him with prostate cancer.
-
His PSA went up by 2500. If there were any nurses here then he should have been dead
-
a long time. His legs became like elephant legs. Then God touched him. We fought that
-
thing for about four or five years. He didn't know we had it. It came right down to PSA
-
to 17 or something. Then the battle raged again. Every time I was in America I was at
-
the right moment. I spent several days in the hospital in the night just praying with
-
him, praying the scriptures. I was with him just before he died, the night before he died.
-
I remember looking into his eyes and he knew the time had come. He said goodbye. He fought
-
this thing and fought it with faith. Here I am after the operation and suddenly Dr.
-
Wes appears. I'm driving a car and he appears in a dream. He has his beautiful suit on.
-
He says to me, you know he says, Pastor Ray just said, heaven is rejoicing and the angels
-
are jealous over the prayer times we used to have together. Because he and I used to
-
play every Friday night, half nights of prayer. We'd start off and sometimes the place was
-
packed and sometimes it was just a handful. But he was always there with his wife, always
-
praying with me, always when I wanted to pray. He was there praying with us, believing God
-
for miracles. Suddenly this man appeared and I was back. Amen. God lifted that feeling,
-
that battle that I was back. I was literally back. Hallelujah. God in a dream can be. His
-
wife used to say, oh I wonder how things are. One day in a dream her husband came walking
-
toward her and addressed him wife and said keep yourself pure. That's all he said and
-
he was gone. Amen church. She knew the essential nature to walk righteous before the Lord.
-
God comforted her what he was but also encouraged her to walk before the Lord. God is good.
-
Can you say amen? Thank God for this supernatural realm. Thank God we are supernatural people.
-
Can you say amen? Stand with me together. Thank God that God can speak to us. Speak
-
to us time and time again. Expect God to speak to you. Expect God to do things for you. Oh
-
let's cry out to the Lord for a minute. Hallelujah. Precious Lord speak to us we pray. Speak to
-
us in the night seasons. Speak to us with your presence in the meetings. Speak to us
-
in the times of our need. Visit us oh God. Visit us we pray. We don't understand everything.
-
I don't know why we went home. We had such great healing times and then the battle raged
-
again. I don't understand it Lord but I know you are real. Hallelujah. I know you are faithful.
-
Come on church cry out to God. God speak to us. Come on. God talk to us. God reveal more
-
and more of yourself. We long to be vested under our Lord. Forgive us if we fail at your
-
Lord. We feel at times our poor the cheapest of sinners. But your mercy is from everlasting
-
to everlasting. Come on church. We praise you Jesus. We thank you that you are real. Hallelujah.
-
That you are real supernaturally and in every sense of the word for your word. But speak
-
to us Lord thank you for this vehicle. You have given us to talk to us to show us your
-
marvelous ways I pray in the name of Jesus. We haven't prayed for people that are sick
-
tonight. If you haven't been, if you have a need in your body, in your emotions somewhere
-
please come that I can pray with you in the name of Jesus. Please come. I would like to
-
pray with you in Jesus name.
