And I'm gonna start at verse fourteen, and I will
-
be reading all the way to thirty.
-
And this is the title that the Lord gave me,
-
and it stuck with me.
-
So Holy Spirit, have done own way.
-
The Lord gave me.
-
This is not the time to compromise. The promotion is
-
on the other side of the fire, starting with verse fourteen,
-
and so many of us might even know the story.
-
If you don't know the story, I'll give you just
-
a little bit of it. These is the three Hebrew Boys,
-
and so the majority of Daniel is about Daniel and.
-
The three Hebrew Boys.
-
But in this section Daniel is kind of left out
-
of it. Why we don't know. But it's mainly talking
-
about shaq rapp me shack and a beating ago. And
-
I'm hoping I'm saying neb but Knazar right, because I've
-
heard his name say it so many different ways.
-
But the storyline starts out.
-
In chapter three, verse fourteen, and the Word of God
-
says Nebukanazar Spakon said, unto them, is it true? Oh
-
shad rap me shack in a bed, and no go
-
do not ye serve my gods nor worship the Golden Image,
-
which I have set up.
-
Now.
-
If ye be ready that at what time ye hear
-
the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut soft tree
-
and docimer and all kinds of music, ye fall down
-
and worship the image which I have made well. But
-
if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same
-
hour into the midst of a burning, foul refurnace. And
-
who is that God that shall deliver you out of
-
my hands? Shat wrapped me shack in a bed, and
-
no go answered and said to the King O Nebuka Nezzar,
-
we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
-
Verse seventeen.
-
If it be so, our God, whom we serve, is
-
able to deliver us from the burning fowl refurnace, and
-
he will deliver us out of thine hand, the O King.
-
But if not be it known unto THEE, O King,
-
that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the
-
golden image which thou hast set up, then was Nebucannezzar
-
full of fury, and the form of his visage was
-
changed again. Shat Bradney Shak and Abtnago. Therefore he spake
-
and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven
-
times more than it was walt to be heated. And
-
he commanded the most mighty men that were in his
-
army to bind Shat, Bradney, Shak, and Abdnago, and to
-
cast them into the burning fire refurnace. Then these men
-
were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats
-
and their other garments, and were cast into the midst
-
of the burning fire refurners. Therefore, because the king's commandments
-
commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame
-
of the fire slew those men that took up shatrap
-
me Shack and a betting ago. And these three men
-
Shat wrapped, me Shack and a betting Ago fell down
-
bound into the midst of the burning fire refurnace. Then
-
Nebukannazzar the king was astonned, astonished a storm astned, and
-
rose up in haste and spake and said, unto his counselors,
-
did not we cast three men bound into the midst
-
of the fire. They answered, and said, unto the King,
-
true O King? He answered and said, lo, I see
-
four loose walking in the midst of the fire, and
-
they have no hurt. And the form of the fourth
-
is like the son of God. Then Nebukanazzar came nearer
-
to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spake
-
and said, shot wrap me shack and abedding a go, ye,
-
servants of the most Tai God, come forth and come hither.
-
Then shat rapped me shack, and a bettina goo came
-
forth of the midst of the fire, and the princes,
-
governors and captains, and the king's counselors being gathered together.
-
As all these men upon.
-
Whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was in
-
hair on their head sined, neither were their coach changed,
-
nor the smell of fire passed on them. Then Nebukanezzar
-
spake and said, blessed be the God of Shatrat Meshak
-
and Abetanago, who had sinned his angel and delivered his
-
servants the trusted in him, and have changed the King's
-
word and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve
-
nor worship any god except their own god. Therefore, I
-
make a decree that every people, nation and language which
-
speak anything amiss against the God of Shatrat me shack
-
in a beetnagold shall be cut in peaces, and their
-
houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no
-
other god the can deliver after this sword.
-
Then the God, then the.
-
King promoted Shaq, rapped me Shaq in a betting ago
-
in the province of Babylon.
-
You may be seated in the house of the Lord. Amen.
-
May God at a blessing to the reading here and
-
and understanding of his word.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
So this is not the time to compromise. The promotion
-
is on the other side of the fire. When the
-
Lord gave me this, the first thing I thought, and
-
I'm just gonna be honest, was Lord, we're living in
-
some tough times right now.
-
Wonder how many of your people is compromising.
-
I read a book a few years ago, and the
-
book was called The Great Compromise, and I can possibly
-
say it was probably longer than a few years ago.
-
It's probably been about more than ten years ago. And
-
in the book called The Great Compromise, it's a Christian book,
-
and it's talking about the compromise that a lot of
-
Christians make. And some of the greatest compromise is when.
-
We choose.
-
Worldly aspects over Christian aspects. And because we choose to
-
do worldly things over Christian things, then we find ourselves
-
in sin, and a lot of time we don't see
-
it as something big. We see it as if I'm
-
just going alone to get along or everybody is doing it,
-
you know, And you would really think that that would
-
be something with kids. But when you look at the
-
Christian world or day, you see it's not just kids
-
when it comes to the church, it's a lot of
-
older people. I do can't tell you how many times
-
I still see churches with the fans mimicking the song
-
that's a worldly song where them fans at And I
-
just still to this day don't believe I heard y'all
-
talking a little bit in Sunday School. I don't believe
-
that the church has to get songs from the world
-
in order to have songs. I don't believe that the
-
church you have to get dances from the world in
-
order to have dances. Now, if my God it's big
-
and mighty, powerful and strong, all knowing, omnipotent, all powerful,
-
he got to go to Satan to get a dance
-
or some.
-
Does not make any sense.
-
So you find people in the church that's compromising, So
-
then they go to the world, and because it sounds
-
good in the world, then they get it and they
-
bring it back to the church because it sounds good
-
to them in the world, instead of them creating something
-
and taking it to the world.
-
Because that's what compromise is.
-
Compromise is when you go against something that you believe
-
in to take up on something that somebody else believes in.
-
And so.
-
Our face a moment or time in our life, well,
-
we'll have a never caniza, a never canaiza in our life,
-
whether it's we've already faced it, and I believe we
-
all have, because we all come.
-
From not being saved to being saved.
-
So whether we've already have faced a nether canazza or
-
we're facing one now, we're gonna face another one, and
-
then we'll face another one, and then we'll face another one.
-
But what we see here in this storyline again I
-
started at chapter three, but we know before we get here,
-
we have them facing the instance on what we should eat,
-
and that's where we see Daniel, and that's where we
-
get our Daniel fast from.
-
But what I like.
-
About this is they never bowed down to what the
-
other people were doing.
-
And so what I find that My research is is
-
that with the Hebrew Boys, it wasn't just the four.
-
In our storyline, we only hear about Daniel, Shadrack, me Shack,
-
and a Bendigo. But when they went and took captive,
-
when the Babylonians went and took captive, they didn't just
-
get these four. They got a thousands. But we only
-
hear about the four. So that tells me that the
-
others compromised. When it came to the food, Daniel said,
-
we won't eat that. Bring us something different. And then
-
watch and see while we're eating this food, don't we
-
look better?
-
We're gonna be more healthier.
-
And so they did the food and again that's how
-
we come up with the Daniel Fast for the twenty
-
one day fast that we do at the beginning of
-
the year. And they were more healthier than those that
-
ate the choice foods because Daniel them had been raised
-
and the Jewish that we don't eat these type of meats,
-
we don't drink this this type of wine.
-
So Daniel was sticking to what they knew.
-
They had come from a Jewish background and so they
-
knew that they there were things that they followed.
-
Due to their belief in God.
-
And these people were following what they belief was the
-
Nebuknaza their king.
-
Had set up.
-
So Daniel's whole thing was, we're not gonna compromise. Well,
-
he had his three brothers with him. That was shad
-
racking me shack in a bend of go. So as
-
they did this, then their whole thing was they would
-
never doubt what they had been taught.
-
About their God. See, and that's the same way for us.
-
Once we know who God is, we can't second guess.
-
How do you get saved?
-
And then when you start going through something, you start
-
second guessing. And that was a question, but the Lord
-
wanted me to know that they do it all the time.
-
Soon as we get into hot water, we do it
-
all the time. As soon as you broke, you forget
-
that he's Jehovah, Jirah, my provider. Oh Lord, how am
-
I gonna get this? How am I gonna get this
-
bill paid?
-
Oh Lord? How am I gonna make it now? You
-
lost your job? Oh God, how am I gonna make
-
it now? But you're a believer. We noticed he's Jehovah driver.
-
And I can raise my hand because I remember assuming
-
as I didn't have enough kids in the day care.
-
I was looking for a second job.
-
The late Lady Moore used to be Mi dcarriager. She
-
called me, girl, where you're gonna work at? Why you
-
looking for a job? You know you ain't supposed to
-
be working. She'd get me every time. But it didn't
-
stop me from getting discaraged when I didn't see that
-
money coming in, Because it happens sometimes. But the thing
-
is is do we compromise? Do we go backwards or
-
do we stand? Because God tells us when we're going
-
through a situation that we're supposed to stand. And after
-
we've done all the stand and what keep standing? He
-
didn't say move, He didn't say start asking somebody.
-
He didn't say start doing something else. He said keep standing.
-
What are we standing on? We should be standing on
-
his word. We should be standing.
-
On who we know. That's what the three Hebrew boys
-
was doing.
-
They kept standing on the God that they knew. They
-
wasn't even with their own people anymore. They were around
-
all this other influence, but they kept standing on what
-
they knew. Says they were the only These were not
-
only young boys. They were not the only young boys
-
that had been taken captive during the babylon exile. There
-
were thousands. Some of them were even mighty men of Valor.
-
So the mighty men of valid gave in. Come on, y'all,
-
y'all got to eat this food, because this is what
-
the king say. Y'all got to take this meat and
-
drink this wine. The mighty men of Valor gave in.
-
They folded under pressure. They compromised. We can't compromise when
-
we out there in the world and they saying, okay,
-
maybe you get food stamps.
-
Everybody. Everybody don't have it like that.
-
It's some saints to get some food stamps, so you're
-
not getting them right now. And somebody say, well, I'm
-
going over here and I'm stealing some meat, and I
-
done stole this meat. Hey, I got this meeting. I
-
just stole this meat, And hey, you want to buy
-
this I got it on the low low.
-
It's on a discount because I stole it.
-
You're gonna compromise and get the meat, or you gonna
-
trust on God.
-
To provide for you.
-
Because we don't live for the system anyway. We're not
-
believing in the system. We believe in God. Now I
-
understand that right now, the government is under some man.
-
I don't even know what to call it, but I
-
know that our government is God. And so if I'm
-
believing in trusting in God, then that means I have
-
to believe in trusting God. The Bible says that if
-
we've been given, he'll use man to give back unto us.
-
But I even if you ain't been given, if you
-
belong to God, God got you. Why because he's our
-
but father. I don't know a father that would not
-
take care of his kids except for unearthly father, not
-
the father that sitts how and look low. And the
-
Bible says his right hands is extended unto us.
-
God gonna take care of his even in the family.
-
And if you don't know that, then you need to
-
get into your word, because from Genesis to Revelation, it's
-
scriptures of God.
-
Taking care of his people.
-
They was in a land and didn't have nothing, and
-
he told him to start building houses.
-
In the midst of not having nothing. Don't build you
-
some houses. I got you, He got his.
-
So we have to be depending up on God and
-
not depending up on man. So that means I can't
-
compromise because the Lord don't want me buying stolen goods.
-
He wants me to wait on him.
-
I just might be that person that standing in the
-
line before somebody and I get up there and I
-
don't have enough to pay. But God does sent this
-
person to stand behind me, and that's the person that
-
God is already using to bless people.
-
And he then said, hey, she ain't got enough, give
-
it to her.
-
So I don't want to put my help in jeopardy
-
because I'm compromising. So see, they understood this. They knew
-
how powerful their God was, so they had this uncompromising integrity,
-
says The uncompromising integrity that Daniel shat ragged Me Shack
-
and a Bendigo had was displayed because of them not
-
compromising when it comes to eating the food that they
-
had offered them, when it comes to them not compromising
-
when they was asked a bow down to the king's image,
-
because they were not willing to compromise their belief.
-
Sometimes we even compromise our we can have our.
-
Own self belief system. But because somebody at worked and
-
said something, now.
-
We're trying to figure out is it okay to do that?
-
Don't nobody see me. I'm not at church.
-
And though none of my church friends work here, I
-
know I ain't supposed to be doing.
-
This, But who gonna tell? Because they don't know?
-
But it's not even as much about them telling as
-
it is about your Holy Spirit knowing. And I still
-
to this day don't understand how people don't know that
-
God see everything, that nothing's hidden from him.
-
He got eyes everywhere.
-
And the one thing that I'm learning even the more
-
is the more that we struggle away of conviction when
-
the Holy Spirit is convicting us, the harder our heart
-
gets with God. And you don't want to get to
-
the point where you start going against the convictions that
-
the Holy Spirit is convicting you or doing something wrong.
-
And then he don't convict you no more. Yeah, because
-
by now he done turn you over to your own self.
-
You can't be convicted of nothing. You was just mean
-
and ugly, and.
-
The Holy Spirit said apologizing. You won't even apologize because
-
you don't want somebody to thank you weak, or you
-
feel like you that big that you can't come down
-
and say I'm sorry, y'all. That's compromising. That's what the
-
Bible says we should carry bear the fruits of God's spirit,
-
not the fruits of our spirit. One of the fruits
-
of the spirit is meekness, humbleness. If you can't go
-
back and say I'm sorry, something wrong with you, you
-
ain't got the fruit of the spirit, so you're compromising
-
who you are. We can't compromise in this day of
-
this hour. Compromise is gonna push us back instead of
-
pushing us forward.
-
And we can't afford to go backward.
-
So the opportunity to not compromise your belief, it also
-
opens up God an opportunity to lift you up.
-
When you compromise who you are.
-
You take that opportunity away from God.
-
God uses the.
-
Opportunity to lift you up, to bless you, to move
-
you forward, and you not compromising, and you holding fast
-
to who you are, to who God has called you
-
to be. Every believer will face a moment again where
-
your faith is tested. Why our testing trials come to
-
make us strong? Who want us to stay weak? If
-
we're in the army of the Lord God for sure
-
don't want us to stay weak. How can you be
-
a soldier in your weak And I think sometimes we
-
just don't wanna strengthen or we don't understand what it
-
takes to get strong.
-
I said it once before. I can't remember what sermony was.
-
But why do you go to the gym and don't
-
want to pick up the weights? You won't get no muscle.
-
The little kids say, muscles. How do you get muscles
-
if you won't lift the weights? And the weights are heavy,
-
and when you first start, the weights hurt. I don't
-
lift them anymore because this body won't let me do it.
-
But I remember lifting weights. When you first start lifting
-
those weights out, man, first couple of days, you just real,
-
real sore, And it takes a whole lot of lifting
-
before the sowred andess works out.
-
Why because your body's not used to it.
-
So when we start going through some different things, you're
-
testing your trial. They don't feel good at first. Who
-
wants to be tested? Who wants to be tried?
-
Nobody?
-
But they come to build us up, to make us strong.
-
And if you don't never go through the test, if
-
every time something starts to happen, you back away and
-
run off. But God is trying to strengthen you. This
-
ain't you trying to strengthen you? This hour of Father,
-
and he know you need it because he know what
-
tomorrow holds for you, and you try to run and
-
go backwards. It's just another one gonna come. It's like
-
going like the children of the Israel that had the
-
eleven day journey to turn it into forty. I mean,
-
you just you're making it inevitable. It's it's gonna take
-
you longer. You're just gonna have more tasks gone and
-
go through that one so you can get ready for
-
the next one. School is from And these poor kids, now,
-
bless their heart, I didn't have to go to school
-
until I was five. Now they're starting them out at three,
-
what is it, pre K three, pre K four, and
-
then you get to five, so they didn'et added an
-
extra two years for them. Bless their hearts. They done
-
missed out on two years of fun.
-
I'm just being honest with you.
-
See, for us, we started at five and then went
-
to the twelfth grade. It wasn't no pre k pre k,
-
it was just chinder garden and then you go twelve years.
-
But through every grade you have tests.
-
If you don't pass those tests, you don't advance. So
-
if you're going through tests, if the Lord is allowing
-
you to go through tests or better yet he taking
-
you through them tests.
-
If you don't pass that test, you don't advance.
-
So if your school teacher don't let you advance, do
-
you think God gonna let you advance?
-
Because if God is trying to get you somewhere and you.
-
Can't pass that test, say he just let you go through,
-
Say gonna chew you up and spit you back out,
-
cause you ain't got what it takes to get to
-
that next level.
-
See, the three.
-
Hebrew boys had what it took. That's why when you
-
get the verse seventeen and you say, what now if
-
we don't listen to what And I'm telling you I
-
like these boys because y'all to.
-
Me, these boys is cold.
-
I'm just saying because you know, most Christians and I'm
-
not saying all Christians, but I say most even hide
-
that they're Christians.
-
Before we get to verse seven.
-
Fourteen, and the harps had already played it was some
-
snitches in the camp, you see that, didn't you It
-
was some snitches in the camp because they wouldn't say it.
-
They ain't doing it, you see, they ain't bound down.
-
But them the same snitches. The wind told on Daniel
-
how he was praying at the window. But you know
-
what I like about all of them because they wasn't
-
hiding that they was Christians. See, we got a lot
-
of play Christians say they Christians at the church, and
-
then when they get out there, they look just like
-
the rest of the world. That's why everybody out there
-
say they say, everybody out there Christians, Ask.
-
Them they are Christians. I'm a Christian. I'm a Christian.
-
I done heard people.
-
Say I pay tides and they drunk, they cussing, they
-
foreign a caden.
-
But I'm a Christian. Now I'm not.
-
Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about nobody. And
-
let they already gonna say it, I'm judging because that's
-
the favorite word. No, No, I'm just I'm just saying.
-
I'm just saying, but a Christian is a christ like walk.
-
So there's a difference. But I'm telling you these boys
-
stuck to the real because they didn't hide. The Bible says,
-
let your light so shine before man, that they see
-
your good works, but they glorify the Father, which is
-
in heaven. So I just said, talking to the Lord
-
the other day, they see my works, but they glorify you.
-
So what I must be doing. Show them you when
-
they looking at me.
-
So they look at me, but they see you because
-
they don't glorify me. They don't say, look at Johnny,
-
that girl got going on. No, they say look at her, Holly, Loujah, Jesus, thank, Oh,
-
good God of mercy. So they all highly Loujah into
-
the image. And they standing there.
-
Like, look at them.
-
An old boy came by and said, well, they ain't
-
bound the music playing, But you know what, what was
-
he doing that he could see them standing up looking
-
so he could tell on them because they already knew
-
that they weren't gonna follow the rules. They had already
-
not eating like they was like they'd ask them to,
-
so they wasn't gonna bow down to their God. They
-
had already set a standard for themselves, as we should
-
set one for ourselves. There's no way, as a saying
-
of God that we should be compromising who we are.
-
How can I win a soul if I'm compromising who
-
I am? How can I be the light in the darkness?
-
If I'm compromising who I am? How can I be
-
a witness? If I'm compromising who I am? I can't
-
tell you how to live. If I ain't living right now,
-
if I'm gonna witness, then I better be living what
-
I'm saying.
-
And I'm just saying because it's.
-
Said all the time. Sometime the only church people gonna
-
see is us. Now if I'm not there all the way,
-
that's understandable, because it takes some time. Everybody just don't
-
get saved sanctified and just go running.
-
So say say.
-
I'm somewhere in between it and I'm struggling. Okay, baby,
-
I'm saved, and right now I'm just I'm going through.
-
Right now, the Lord is working on men. I'm working
-
with the Lord.
-
You're honest.
-
But if I say I'm saying sanctified, filled with the
-
hold of Goost and I ain't sended all day, you
-
better make sure you ain't sinned all day, you better
-
not be saying that. And they just got through sin
-
you sin. And I'm just saying, but if you have
-
made a mistake. I tripped and fail a while ago,
-
be honest about your tripping foul, because ain't none.
-
Of us perfect. We tripping foul.
-
I still get up every morning and not only ask
-
God to forgive me, I repent, Yeah, cause I understand
-
I'm not perfect. I've only heard the one perfect individual
-
and his name is Geez, and he seated at the
-
right hand of the Father. If it's anybody in this
-
earth right now just saying that they perfect, they ain't
-
saying the Bible says they lie. Ain't no truth in them,
-
cause again, were living in earth. We make mistakes. That's
-
why Jesus died for us. Here's a propituation for us.
-
We make mistakes, but we have an advocate for us
-
in heaven, so we can ask for forgiveness. But what
-
these young men was doing was showing themselves worthy of
-
being God believers. So when you asked me to bow
-
down for your God, I'm not bound down for your God.
-
That's what they told him. I'm not gonna do it.
-
Whenever Canailza came and went to talking all of that
-
trash and you say, we did what now, because we didn't.
-
We didn't bow down to your music. And they say,
-
so if it be so, God whom we serve. And
-
you know what I found out about this serve in
-
verse seventeen. This serve means worship, Hey God, Holly Loujah, Jesus. Yeah,
-
when you get to verse seventeen that's served turn into worship.
-
Yeah.
-
So the God that we worship, he able to deliver us.
-
I don't know about that god, y'all been bound down too,
-
But the one that we worship, yeah, he'll deliverer.
-
Yeah, and he even if he don't.
-
Hey, God, hollylujah, we.
-
Know that he able.
-
Yeah, he might not get us out of this one,
-
but we know that he can. You know how we
-
know he can because he even did it before. See,
-
way before they got here, hit the bottom out of Israel,
-
I mean bottom out of Egypt. Yeah, they knew they
-
god to be a deliverer. Yeah, so they wasn't worried
-
about what they said.
-
About that God.
-
So gone and throw me in the fire, refermer, put
-
me in that test. Lord, put me in the test.
-
I'm just saying, if you already saved, why are we
-
running from the test. Something happened and we get all
-
scared and go shaken, But you saved.
-
He already picked you up out of the my reclaimed.
-
Place your feet on the solid ground. Why are you
-
running from the test.
-
The test is just to get you a little bit stronger.
-
But y'all in the midst of studying for this message.
-
My God, my God, Cause look what the test took
-
him to. He put him in the fire. Bro Tim
-
in the fire. Now what they enemy thought he was doing?
-
Shit?
-
Who sweet Jesus, They enemy thought he was doing something
-
that Booker was gonna turn the fire up. He thought
-
he was making one heck of a threat when he said,
-
I'm gonna put you in the fire. And then they
-
went to talking trash to him by telling them that
-
God was able. Y'all, if y'all don't learn how to
-
talk trash to the enemy, quitn't letting the enemy talk
-
trash to you.
-
Start talking trash back to him. Then I'm here to
-
tell you today.
-
I know a lot of people say, oh, we get
-
a devil too much credit, y'all. Sometimes you forget we
-
have an enemy. Now you can I'm not telling you
-
to give him a lot of credit. But I'm telling y'all,
-
the same God that has given us all of these
-
promises again from Genesis to Revelation warns us about the enemy,
-
discounting if you want to, you're gonna make a mistake.
-
There is no way in the world that God would
-
give man inspiration mind to write this Bible and have
-
them to put anything about Satan in her for no reason.
-
God does not do anything unintentionally. You need to know
-
that you have an enemy. Now he's defeated and he
-
under your feet, and that's what we have to keep him.
-
That's why you need to know about him. See so
-
when he come in your house and he whispering in
-
your ear and telling you about your wife, look at him.
-
All she do is.
-
Then you know, devil, you will lie. I ain't going
-
against my wife. I understand that you don't like covenant relationships,
-
so you will lie.
-
I'm gonna pray for my wife. Wife.
-
When he's telling you, look at your husband, Oh devil,
-
you will lie. Satan, get behind me because I know
-
you don't like covenant relationships. You against marriages? Why because
-
God have a covenant relationship with us. Why because God
-
sees us in him like a marriage.
-
He said, he the bride, we the bridegroom. I mean
-
we the bride.
-
Here the bridegroom, Tyler the backslider.
-
He married to them.
-
God is always talking about marriage, and look at the
-
marriages in the world today.
-
Christian marriages have the biggest divorce.
-
And if you don't tell a husband and a wife.
-
That in the church they sit and they go.
-
Back and or back and forth, back and for.
-
Why, because the enemy is in it.
-
He can't stand to see nothing work when God is
-
in it. After he don't care why because it don't
-
resemble God. The Bible says, he comes to kill, still
-
and destroy. He not looking at us. He looking at us,
-
looking at God. So I'm just telling you when the
-
Bible talks about Satan, God has given us revelation so
-
that we can remember that we don't wrestle.
-
With flesh and blood. See our enemy a whole lot
-
connier and than we are.
-
And because we keep saying, oh, ain't no enemy, he
-
ain't no enemy. We didn't put him to the side,
-
and he's sitting over there laughing at us because he's
-
looking at us fight each other.
-
Because we then threw him at the picture.
-
You better put that bigger whoop back in there, because
-
if you don't put him back in there, you can't
-
put him under your feet. We too busy putting each
-
other under our feet, whether it be husband and why,
-
brother and sister.
-
Hallelujah, Yeah, we can't.
-
We can't defeat the enemy because we're too busy trying
-
to defeat each other, the church beating up the church
-
instead of whooping the enemy. We won't get on our knees,
-
We get on microphones and beat each other up, social
-
media and beat each other up.
-
Why cause Heven deceived us once again. Hey, y'all know
-
not sick ereboy said.
-
I'm telling you Satan is the greatest deceived of them all.
-
The Bible calls him the father of our lives. And
-
if you tell me right now, he ain't bamboozling the church.
-
Got the church fighting with each other, got husbands and
-
wives fighting with each other, got parents fighting with their kids,
-
kids fighting with they parents, and everybody thinking it's okay, Oh,
-
this just the way it is.
-
That's just the way our kids is now, this just
-
the way the parents is. Now.
-
Well we better start calling them a lie and saying
-
it ain't no truth in them, and get on our
-
knees and start holding to the principles of this Bible.
-
Now we got we can't keep saying that's basic constructions
-
before leaving earth. But won't nobody follow the instructions? Tell
-
me the Bible says, husbands loves your wives as Christ
-
has loved the church. Where is it at. I'm just saying,
-
why submit unto your husbands?
-
What does that mean? Look it up?
-
Submit unto your husbands. It means get under submission. Husbands,
-
get a mission, so we can get under it. I'm
-
just saying, it's time to line up with the word
-
of God. So when these when these young men going
-
through the fire, Yeah, they going through the fire for
-
a cows, same cows.
-
Many of us need to go through the fire.
-
So what the Lord gave me when they were going
-
through the fire, I'm going through the fire.
-
God himself is a consuming fire. He himself never can there's.
-
A thought he was doing something, not just by putting
-
him in the fire, but by turning that thing up
-
seven times.
-
Turn it up then, Yeah, turn it.
-
Up, Brother and God, highly luyah, because the het of
-
God get, the better we get. I'm just saying, turn
-
him up, burn baby, burn, highlyyluyah.
-
God himself is a consuming fire.
-
The first time God is mentioned as a consuming fire.
-
Now I don't win all of them.
-
My notes is in good God of Mercy, Holly Loujah, Lord,
-
because I done.
-
Went past the whole bunch of stuff.
-
Moses, Moses, Yeah, that's the Holy ghost too, Moses. Uh uh.
-
They were getting ready to come out of go into
-
the Promised Land. And y'all know Moses had some issues. Yeah,
-
Moses don't got mad because the children the Israel let
-
him tell it cause him to miss out on the
-
Promised Land.
-
So Moses is telling them go to uh what is that? Goodness? Hollylujah.
-
Moses is telling them that they don't cause him to
-
miss out on the Promised Land, Moses. They didn't cause
-
Moses to miss out on the Promised land. Moses caused
-
itself to list miss out on the parmis land. Yes,
-
uh huh, take me there, Lord, take me there. I
-
got it written down and got on the wrong glasses.
-
I just want to make sure I get the scripture right.
-
Okay, that is m mm hmm.
-
Deuteronomy four and twenty four. Deuteronomy four and twenty four,
-
Moses is warning the kids one in the children of Israel,
-
look out and call them kids because I done got
-
all excited. Never cannies again. Thank he doing something by
-
turning up the fire refurnace. But the first time God
-
is ever mentioned as a consuming fires in Deuteronomy four
-
and twenty four, after Moses warns the children of Israel
-
about they their images, their little graven images, them worshiping
-
gods outside of their own God. Moses tell them, he says,
-
don't forget how the Lord that God is a consuming fire,
-
because he's warning them about these forbidding images, and yr
-
God is not only a consuming fire, but he's also
-
jealous God. So because we remember how when he was
-
up on the mountain for too long, he come back
-
down and his brother then helped these folks buildings, big
-
old calf, golden image. Yeah, but what gets me about
-
this is he compromised. So when I got to that part,
-
this compromising normally take us to idolizing. Hey, does compromising
-
normally take us to idolizing?
-
You got to be.
-
Careful about compromising because if you'll compromise a little bit,
-
will it cause you to start idolizing.
-
We want to be careful about the choices that we make.
-
And so I thought about some of the compromises that
-
the people nowadays do. Because if I'm not gonna go
-
to church today, stay don't wash my car yea. So
-
now instead of me serving this god going to God,
-
I can compromise.
-
Not reading my word and watch some TV.
-
So can I turn my TV into a god compromise
-
in prayer because I ain't spent no time in prayer.
-
With the Lord.
-
But I've been on social media. Check your phone, you
-
know how to have the little slits on there. But
-
I've been on social media for like two and a
-
half hours.
-
I ain't praised since last week.
-
Ye, I ain't praised since the last time I was
-
at church. But I've been on my phone. Ooh, my
-
hand is hot. Ooh, not corpor tunnel.
-
So my.
-
My God is now my phone, I phone instead of
-
ourba Father. I mean, I'm just saying, compromising can turn
-
into idolizing.
-
So we got to be careful about what we're doing.
-
And I couldn't possibly throw a little Satanism in there,
-
because I know I don't heard the voice.
-
Oh girl, you just read that while ago. You ain't
-
got to read that again.
-
You don't surely have to study every day.
-
You know that. Ain't that ain't close to like what
-
he told you, is it? We didn't surely say you die.
-
Yeah, we have to be careful. And I'm just saying,
-
because you'll take some of these little bit of things
-
and just let them go on by, just let them
-
pass you right on by. But we living in a
-
day and age, But we can't afford to spend more
-
time with the TV than we spend them with God. Yeah,
-
we can't afford to spend more time playing around than
-
we do with God.
-
I mean, I.
-
Know Second Timothy said that we was in perilous times,
-
didn't it? And I know when I read that scripture
-
last A lot of what I read in that scripture
-
looked like today lovers of themselves, I mean, people doing
-
all kinds of stuff now. So I know when I
-
look in the Bible, I see a lot of what's
-
going on now in the Bible. It's like opening up
-
the Bibles, like watching TV. Parents killing their children, children
-
killing their parents, disobedient kids, wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes
-
and diverse places.
-
Yes, the weather. Wow, So you don't even have to
-
watch TV.
-
Just read the word, turn the TV on, turn the
-
volume down to read the word while you watching TV.
-
I'm just saying, yeah.
-
So I'm just saying, we can't afford not to spend
-
time with God. And it's not that it's gonna change.
-
But I believe almost every time I read sometimes you
-
can read the same scripture and God to give you
-
a revelation, because I'm telling you I had never seen
-
the fire refurnished the way I seen it this last week.
-
As God being off in there. I mean I knew
-
he was in there, but I didn't see him like this.
-
And he said, when they turned it up seven times,
-
they just turned me up. They wasn't record. They weren't
-
expecting me to be there. They weren't expecting the consuming
-
fire to be in there, and they show wasn't expecting
-
me to be in there. When those three men got there,
-
that's why they got burned up. That was my judgment
-
up on them because they thought they was doing something.
-
So that's why they got burnt up. But then when
-
my boys got in there, I had them just like
-
I got you. He said, when you in the fire,
-
just know that I'm there with you, the same way
-
I was with shad Wreck and me Shack and have
-
been to go. God was the first of y Uh,
-
I don't already said that.
-
When I'm sorry, y'all.
-
This was uh again, as Moses was telling the people
-
that he had missed out on the Promised Land because
-
of them, But it was Moses to compromise because he
-
was the one that was told to speak to the rock,
-
and instead of speaking to the rock out of his
-
anger and his frustration, be careful with your anger and
-
your frustration, the Bible says, anger but sin not. His
-
anger caused him to sin. You know why, cause he
-
was disobedient to what God said do. His anger caused
-
him to sin.
-
Be curful with anger and frustration.
-
So his anger caused him, instead of to speak to
-
that rock, he hid it, so then he would he
-
missed the promised land.
-
So we know how that story went.
-
These three Hebrew boys seemed to be full of faith
-
right about now because they were not backing down. The
-
God we serve as a consuming fire means holiness, purity,
-
his presence, and his power, as well as his judgment
-
on sin. It signifies God's overwhelming majesty and purity. His
-
fire cleanses, takes away the imperfections, and consumes all that's
-
not aligned with him. So there was no fear of
-
the furnace, for they had heard about their God. Do
-
you know about your God? Do you know about your God?
-
Because if you know about your God, then whatever you're
-
going through, there should never be any fear. Whether you're
-
in the furnace, whether you're in the midst of a storm,
-
regardless of what you're going through, as long as you
-
know God, because if he yow, God, he got you.
-
And don't get me wrong, sometimes it looks scary. I
-
Do'm been there, I'm there now. It's not like He
-
give us this big picture of the ending. We don't
-
know what the ending is. And I think that's the
-
part that makes us scare. But because God gave us
-
these five senses, he know we're scared, and it's okay
-
to be scared.
-
Just don't have.
-
A spirit of fear, because He does not give us
-
a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a
-
sound mind. So if we keep our minds stayed on Him,
-
he for sure keep us in perfect peace, even in
-
the midst of us going through something. God, I don't
-
know how I'm gonna get through this. God, I don't
-
understand this because I'm telling you, sometimes it seems like
-
the whole.
-
World is against you.
-
I've been there, I'm telling you, and sometimes I don't
-
know what to do. I have somebody to call me
-
in and I tell him, in a minute, just go scream,
-
Cause there's times I have to go in the backyard
-
and I just have to scream, let it out, don't
-
let it stay in you, because if you let it
-
stay in you, it'll build up. And if it started
-
building up, then that booger wolf, that's what I call him,
-
he'll show start trying to talk to you. And you
-
can't give him no space because if you give him
-
some space, what they say, if you let him ride
-
in the car, he'll be trying to drive. So and
-
again we have to be honest about Satan, y'all. We
-
having enemy. And as soon as he see you down,
-
that booger.
-
Wolf's start running.
-
I got her, I got her.
-
I seen him.
-
See now he not like God, he's not all knowing.
-
He not at all places at one time. So he's
-
sending his little impts over there.
-
Go check on to Nico. Today. She looked like something
-
going on. And if he go over there and see something.
-
Going on, Oh yeah, boss, then no no, no, no, no, no, oh,
-
We're gone over there.
-
And sit with it in. Yeah, we'll spin her ear,
-
tell her some sweet nothings, tell.
-
Her what she want to hear her or if you
-
down and out, keep her down, give awards me party now,
-
y'all know us women. I don't know about you men,
-
but us women sometime we like a wards me party,
-
and so he'll have him to give me a.
-
Ward's me party.
-
Yeah, girl, you know he shouldn't have talked to you
-
like that. You know, he shouldn't have looked at you
-
like that. And I'll be like, yeah, Lord, And the
-
whole time I'm talking to God, I'm talking to God,
-
but he talking.
-
To me, Yeah, saying this to me. And I'm just being.
-
Honest with you, because if we don't tell it like
-
it is, he gonna shift the whole bunch of us.
-
What Jesus tell Peter, And Jesus didn't stop it, y'all.
-
It's some stuff that's happening. God ain't gonna stop it.
-
He didn't stop them from going in the fire with furnace.
-
Throw them on in there.
-
I'm in there with them, but I'm not gonna stop
-
them from going in.
-
Jesus, say Peter, he wishes to sift you as wheat.
-
But I'm praying for you. And that's it. That is faith,
-
didn't feeling? They have faith too, And what is faith?
-
The substance of things? Hope for the evidence of things
-
not seen. You can't even see it, so you're blindsided,
-
can't see.
-
It, but you yet have to still believe it.
-
God got me even where I'm at right now, and
-
you got the hold onto that that even though I
-
can't see it, I gotta believe.
-
God got me even in this. This looks ugly. Now
-
I can see this.
-
This looks real, real ugly, and in the midst of
-
it looking real real ugly, I don't even see you God,
-
but I got to.
-
Believe that you got me, because.
-
If I don't believe that you got me, I might fall,
-
I might falter. And that's what he's trying to get
-
us to see. I'm in it with you, and because
-
God's in it to win it, it's won.
-
We just don't get to see the.
-
Winning process until we come out. But while we're in it,
-
we got to still have that mentality that I'm winning,
-
and I'm winning. Why i'm burning, I'm winning, why it's hot,
-
I'm fanning, I'm trying to stay cool, I'm trying to
-
keep this off of me, but I'm winning the whole time.
-
It's intensified. It's say His presence is in you. The
-
enemy didn't know that it was going to intensify. Neither
-
did they, But they went in where the enemy was
-
expecting them to be burnt up due to the intensity.
-
They went in with an insurance and assurance. All they
-
knew is, whatever happens, we're not gonna serve your God.
-
We're not bound down to nobody but our own.
-
Even if in the midst of the flames, We're only
-
gonna bow.
-
Down to our God.
-
We got one God and one God only, and that's
-
the only God that we're gonna serve, and that's what
-
we have to do. So whatever we're going through, I'm
-
not bound down to the God of outnet had enough.
-
I'm not gonna bow down to the God or I'm
-
sick of this. I'm not gonna bow down to the God.
-
I can't do this. No, I'm gonna bow down to
-
the God that sits high and looks low. And that's
-
the God that I depend on. Hallelujah. That's the only
-
God that I'm gonna so the whole time I'm going through,
-
Thank you Jesus haigllelujah, God.
-
Glory to your not God.
-
You get the glory out of this. May not feel
-
good to me, but you get the glory out of this.
-
And the other thing that God is teaching me is
-
learned to say, God, what should I be getting out
-
of this while I'm going through? Must be you want
-
me to get out of this. You ain't allowed me
-
to go through this for nothing. Not if my test
-
in my trials come to make me strong, got to.
-
Be something just end this for me. So whatever the
-
other person or the other situ, whatever it is, what
-
am I to get out of this?
-
What I am going through? Because in the end, when
-
I come out, it's me that's coming out. And I
-
know you didn't allow me to go through all of
-
this for nothing. Gay God, hallelujah. So God told me
-
to tell you just hang on in there.
-
He is in the fire with you.
-
When he said that he would never leave you, neither
-
forsake you, he meant that thing. He meant that he
-
will never leave you, neither will he forsake you. But
-
he gonna be with you to the end, through this one,
-
through the next one, through the next one, through the
-
next one.
-
And that's what we have to remember that God is
-
with us.
-
God is constant, He's present, he is so I support
-
even through the difficult times when it seems as if
-
the enemy may be intensifying the pressure on you. God
-
is intensifying his holiness. The fire is an example and
-
is exemplifies God's holiness.
-
It's burning away all of those things that you don't need.
-
It is cleansing you, cleaning away, taking away all the
-
impurities of you are from you. That's why I say,
-
why you're in the flame? God, What is it that
-
I should be getting from this? What is it? I
-
just asked Lord on the way to church this morning,
-
what area of my life are you maturing me in?
-
Now? I won't never be mature enough.
-
The Bible say, we won't never be where we are
-
who we're supposed to be into with him. Even when
-
Christ come back, all we know is we should be
-
just like him.
-
Remember the mirror. When we look in that mirror, we
-
should see Christ.
-
Okay, I know I got some moke grew in the girl. Yeah,
-
because it Sometimes I don't act just like Christ. I
-
can still have a temper tantrum. Christ didn't have temper tantrums.
-
He took up on the cross. He was in the
-
garden of Goosemite, crying out and had sweat coming out
-
like blood.
-
He didn't cry. He didn't whine. He was beaten with.
-
A cat, and iine tell he didn't cry. Now I
-
know I ain't gonna breathflow. Don't have to go through
-
nothing like that. One of the things I thought of
-
when I was studying this lesson was to get a
-
video that I found on social media about one of
-
the Africans over there in Nairobia, was it Nigeria, and
-
he had did a video tape. He was asking for
-
help from the Americans, but he was also preaching.
-
At the same time. They just buried a whole bunch
-
of his friends.
-
You know, they've been killing the Christians over there in Nigeria,
-
and he was telling them, he said, he said.
-
I'm going to ask strong, he said.
-
I told my kids, don't pay for me. If they
-
come get me and ask for money for me, don't
-
pay for me. I'm dying for Christ. Don't give them
-
nothing for me. I give my life for Christ. To
-
die is to gain, he said. And we over here
-
worried about food stemps and government funded Now, I'm not
-
saying that to mock them. I'm not saying that to
-
mock them. Don't get me wrong, because I know some
-
people need that. But I'm saying in other countries, that's
-
not their issue right now. In Nigeria, and I don't
-
even think it's our parts of Africa, but I know
-
Nigeria right now, they literally have a martyring situation where
-
it'ss are killing the Christians. And since January of this
-
year to now, there's over I think they said.
-
A thousand Christians that have been martyred.
-
And they'll either capture them and try to get ransom
-
for them or they'll kill them. And the video that
-
I seen they were putting them all in one grave together.
-
So I said that to say, we have different issues
-
in different countries, but when you can find a man
-
to stand up. See, we hadn't got to that type
-
of persecution in the United States, but from what the
-
Word of God says, eventually Christians.
-
Are going to go through that type of persecution. Persecution
-
for us right.
-
Now is we get mad cause somebody say you're judging me,
-
you're judging me, and some Christians don't know how to
-
take that.
-
Well, now, baby, I'm not judging you.
-
No, we don't judge, but the Bible says we do
-
righteous judge. Yeah, and see some Christians don't understand that,
-
so they get mad. No, I'm not judging you, but
-
there's a difference between what we go through and I'm
-
just saying, so, if it was up for some of
-
us to get through off in the fire referring some
-
of us would be running, some of us would duck tail.
-
We getting the call and be gone.
-
And so we need to make sure that we're gonna
-
hold fast to our belief because that's what he was
-
holding fast to, was his belief. Well, that starts now
-
while there is no martyring. That starts now before it's
-
time to take the mark of the beasts, in case
-
some of us are here. That's something we should be
-
teaching our children, our loved ones, our family members, in
-
case the rapture does happen and some of them don't
-
go with us, because when the time comes, there's gonna
-
be some people that have to take the mark of
-
the beach.
-
Just to eat.
-
I was telling my daughter when we was looking at
-
when they was talking about what they were gonna do
-
with the food stamp situation, because that's people's livelihood. I
-
don't think the government should be playing with that. So
-
we can, we can pray and pray for our government.
-
But I say there's gonna come a point in time
-
where it won't even have nothing to really do with
-
like it is now with just food stamps. If things
-
go the way to Bible, they're gonna go the way
-
the Bible said that you go, you're gonna have to
-
take the mark of the beasts just to be able
-
to eat. And it's not gonna have nothing to do
-
with you being on government assistance.
-
It's just gonna be.
-
To eat, period, whether you get government assistance or not.
-
So that's gonna have to do with that person's belief.
-
Because if the rapture happens first and then you're here
-
after the rapture, what the Bible states is those people
-
that are left and they do start to become believers,
-
those people will be beheaded for Christ. So you're gonna
-
either take the mark or you're gonna die for Christ.
-
So the belief that we have is gonna appear by
-
what we do. This shows through even how the enemy works.
-
They had binded the three Hebrew boys. I thought about
-
how sometimes the enemy binds us up in situations and circumstances.
-
He's good with that one. Sometimes we allow ourself to
-
be binding. We can bind our own self. But it
-
says that God's holiness, his purification, and his fire appears
-
as a divine indicator of his holiness. The furnace was
-
inviting the presence of God. This is why the mighty
-
men that it binded them were killed in the flames.
-
As I said earlier, his consuming fire is also a
-
judgment on sin. We must be like the three Hebrew
-
boys and choose not to go with the flow or
-
to follow the crowd. We must stand up and stand
-
out as true believers, not just by the word, but.
-
By a lifestyle. They did They.
-
Did, They didn't hide when the instruments were played.
-
They were seen not bound to the image.
-
Everyone else had bowed to the image except for them.
-
That's how they were noticed, because they were not doing
-
what everyone else was doing. The more that they tried
-
to make themselves fit in, the more the more that
-
everybody else made themselves fit in, the more that they
-
stood out. What are we doing to stand out and
-
to be thrown into the fire?
-
And when thrown into the.
-
Fire, may we be nourished enough to stand? And what
-
I mean by nurse is are we feeled with the word?
-
Have we starved our spirit man, because what goes in
-
us is what comes out of us. If you don't
-
have enough word in you, you're not gonna give them word.
-
You're gonna give them what you think, how you feel.
-
This is it.
-
And so another reason why it's so important, I think
-
the most important reason is just to be intimate with God.
-
To know who God is.
-
We'll only know his characteristics through reading the word stone
-
away we'll ever get to know who God really is.
-
But to know him is to know him, and to
-
know him as to serve him, to know him as
-
to believe in him.
-
To know him is to trust him.
-
Because when we see stories like this, then we know
-
that I can believe.
-
In this God.
-
This is what my God can do. This is what
-
my God is able to do. And that's why they said, man,
-
please throw us on in there. I know that my
-
God is able, and even if he don't, I know
-
he can. So y'all do what y'all say. They had
-
heard about God. They knew about God.
-
God.
-
Remember, in the Old Testament, they didn't have the books,
-
but everything was on stone. And the Bible says that
-
they used to stand up out in midfield and they
-
used to read.
-
To them, so they knew about their God. God.
-
God made sure that, and so they didn't there was
-
no doubts on who he was or what he could do.
-
This said, these young men were very intelligent. When the
-
Babylonians went and took him. They didn't go and take
-
the dumb ones, the ones that couldn't read, didn't know nothing.
-
I don't think there was many of them back in
-
those days. But literally, when you when you read the word,
-
it tells you they were wise, they were very educated.
-
They went and got the ones that they knew they
-
could make good use of. So that's what they took.
-
So they they were again smart, they knew they were
-
they they knew their God. And because they knew their God,
-
then they knew what to do and they knew what
-
to believe.
-
It says God's power.
-
They knew his They I'm sorry, they knew his his word.
-
They knew his spirit, they knew his power. Shat wrapped me.
-
Shak and the Bendigo were very wise, knowledgeable and look
-
good looking too. H I had to throw that in
-
there because they threw that in there. Again, they were choicy.
-
They didn't just go choose and hey, little boy, come here.
-
They chose men of valor, and out of the young boys,
-
they only chose those that were wise, knowledgeable, and good looking.
-
So when they went to plunder the land, they had
-
their pick of what they wanted to choose. Back then
-
they did things for a reason. Now we just do
-
things to do things. They made it make sense of
-
what they were doing. And so it says they only
-
selected the best. Justice sometimes the enemy and this is
-
what the Lord gave me, just as sometimes the enemy
-
looks out, looks at God's chosen and he picks the best.
-
He not just gonna try you if you know it
-
ain't nothing to get out of you. And sometimes it
-
ain't just that he tries you, But just like Joe,
-
the Lord will say, have you tried him, my faithful servant?
-
Sometimes you depict of the litter.
-
Not just for him, but even for God, because God
-
knows there's something in you and he's trying to get
-
that out of you. Sometimes the Lord has asked us
-
to move, and we won't move, and sometimes it takes
-
a little nudge and to get us to move. And
-
so that's why we find that scripture that our test
-
in our trials come to make us strong, because God
-
knows that our testing trials can build us up.
-
So even knowing that we are ready to.
-
Stand on the rock of our salvation and God's unchanging word,
-
not only trusting you and the fire to protect, but
-
trusting that when we come we will be better. When
-
we come through the fire, that will be better than
-
we was before we went through the fire. That the
-
fire will make us as pure as goal, and that
-
in the midst of the fire, if we can find
-
ourself worshiping and praising God, then it'll help us to
-
get through the fire. And in my clothing, those that
-
come come out, you won't smell like smoke, just like
-
the three Hebrew boys, because God is in the fire
-
with you. The fire has never meant to burn you up.
-
The same way that you went in is the same
-
way that you will come out. If you notice it
-
said their clothes wasn't cinched, The exact same way that
-
they went in was the way that they came out.
-
The only difference with them being in there was they
-
was in there with it with the Son of God.
-
There was an angel in there with them. And because
-
they went in.
-
And there was no destruction on them, it caused neber
-
Caniza Nebukanizzar to praise their God. Near said, ye servants
-
of the most tie in the beginning, he was.
-
Just saying, Yo, God.
-
He changed the whole tune, the whole name of who
-
they God was, Ye's servants of the most High. He
-
him now, he himself now is praising their God. When
-
you call God God of the most High, you're lifting
-
him up. So Never is now glorifying their God. And
-
after glorifying their God, then God uses never Canazzar to
-
make a promotion to promote them. And that was the
-
key to what the Lord gave me. When we can
-
go through a situation not compromising, going through the fire,
-
we never go through the fire for no reason. Whether
-
that promotion is to take you to another level in God,
-
another level in position, says God use his fiery trials
-
to display his glory and to elevate. Listen at this
-
his faithful servants, because if you can go through that
-
trial and hang on while you're going through, that deems
-
you as faithful.
-
And I know we like always.
-
Saying thank you God for being faithful, even when I'm
-
not faithful. The Lord gave me a message and it
-
was years and years ago, and God had told me
-
I have seen thy faithfulness. The same way that we
-
always say that God's eyes are up on the land.
-
God watches us, and God puts us in places and
-
positions to see if he can see our faithfulness. And
-
sometimes we be pushing away from things that God has
-
asked us to do.
-
Don't do that, don't do that.
-
I remember times when I heard him say, pick up
-
the paper, and I'm being honest, do this or do that.
-
And I know here recently we've been talking about me
-
letting go of a lot of stuff. But I have
-
let go of a lot of stuff because at one
-
point in time, there was nothing that I would not
-
do in this house. There's already nothing that I won't
-
do at my house, and there's really not a lot
-
that I won't do for other people.
-
I don't count that to myself.
-
I don't because I know who I was before I
-
got saved, not that I was a stingy person or
-
either that I was a bad person.
-
I don't think I've ever really been a bad person.
-
I had some addictions, and I had some faults, but
-
I believe God has always been a part of me.
-
And then my My mama was a real good person,
-
always helping people and doing for other people, and I
-
think I took up on that characteristic. But I would
-
always find myself. Anything that anybody did not want to do,
-
Sister Johnny would do it. I'd pick up trash until
-
I was cleaning the church. When it wasn't nobody to
-
pick people up to bring them to church, Sister Johnny
-
be the first one.
-
I'd pick them up. The late Lady Moore.
-
Would say, well, come on, spor So's house is dirty
-
and they're sick. Let's go clean their house. Okay, I'd
-
go with her. So and so in the hospital.
-
Let's go.
-
We need to go check on them. Okay, I'll go
-
with her. We're going here, and let's go.
-
I go with them.
-
Mother Thomas rest her soul, used to would come and
-
get me, or she would call me.
-
She didn't come give me.
-
I take that back, and I wish y'all could have
-
met hers. I had a place in my heart for her.
-
Mother Thomas would come and get me, and I'd set
-
at her house for hours just listening to her tell
-
me what I should and I should not do.
-
The church.
-
And you don't need to worry that, and you shouldn't
-
wory this, and this is what you need to do,
-
and this is what you should not do. And y'all,
-
I wasn't raised in church, didn't come up in church,
-
so a lot of stuff I did not know. And
-
I appreciated her for that, and I never took it
-
in a bad way.
-
So everything that she told me I should do and
-
I shouldn't.
-
Do, I did that. And so due to that, I
-
end up becoming Pastor's aid. And when again, when people
-
wouldn't mow the front yard, I remember being out there
-
in the front late Lady Moore had a pair of scissors.
-
She'd be cutting the weeds and I'd be more in
-
the grass. Whatever I found myself to do, I did that.
-
And I'm not saying that to make anybody feel bad.
-
I'm saying that because that's when the Lord told.
-
Me, I have seen thy faithfulness.
-
God is always looking for somebody's faithfulness. It don't matter
-
what he asked you to do. Clean out a kumo
-
infy little trash. I never complained until I finally started
-
seeing self.
-
And I remember coming in here one morning.
-
And I think it might have been some candy or
-
something in the back of the chairs. Sister Candys rest
-
us all was real big on you, not you, and
-
no gum and eating in her. But we had Sister
-
Jenny who loved to pass our candy. And if I
-
don't tell you, every kid and every adult was gonna
-
have some candy. And so they would fill up the
-
back of the chairs. These was new chairs.
-
Brand new. The congregation bought these chairs.
-
We sold seeds for our family members and loved ones.
-
I'll never forget it.
-
I bought chairs for each one of my kids. They
-
wasn't even saved yet, and and they was brand new.
-
And we come. I come in here to clean up,
-
and it was candy packets in the.
-
Back of the chairs. Oh boy, I was heated, and
-
I was complaining.
-
Many mail told me, if you gonna come in here
-
and complain, then don't.
-
You clean this church.
-
Don't you clean cause God don't want you complaining.
-
That hit me in the core, and then God reminded me.
-
Because if you cleaning this church for them people, you
-
cleaning it for the wrong reason. And after that I
-
did not come back in here and complain anymore. I
-
started coming in here and using cleaning the church as
-
a time for me and the Lord to worship. And
-
I come in here six o'clock in the morning by myself,
-
turn my music on, and me and the Lord would
-
have a time while I cleaned up. God is looking
-
for some shadrack niche ACKs and some of the golds.
-
Their faithfulness was that they went through the fine didn't
-
say a word, y'all. They stood there while he tied
-
them up. They didn't wiggle like Jesus. They didn't say
-
a mumbling word, Tyler. All they said was what they
-
said from the beginning, gone, My God is able, and
-
even if he don't, we know he can do what
-
you gotta do.
-
That's how we need to be. We know God got us.
-
So if you have not been through a storm, if
-
you're not going through one, now, all I'm saying is
-
prepare yourself. But prepare yourself to go through of a God.
-
Because the road gets heavy, the road gets tough. And
-
if nothing but the situation that this world is gonna
-
go through, y'all, we're gonna go through something. God don't
-
give us words for no reason. It's your encouragement, it's
-
your inspiration, and it's your help. So just know on
-
today that your promotion is at the end of it.
-
And because your promotion is at the end, that means
-
you're coming out.
-
Amen. Amen, assass
