  1. And doing research, you find out that this Bible man

  2. can cause.

  3. A whole lot of uproar.

  4. And so that's why I wanted you to raise up

  5. your Bible instead of your phone, because we find even

  6. the Bible apps on the phone. I know a lot

  7. of y'all have that Bible app. Every so often you'll

  8. see them get on there and they'll ask you to

  9. donate donate finances to help get bibles, because they still

  10. take those Bibles and send those Bibles overseas to different

  11. countries that don't allow them there.

  12. So we're able to take part in that.

  13. If you donate those finances to I can't remember exactly

  14. which one it is because I have a couple of Bibles.

  15. On my phone.

  16. But if you donate to that Bible app, then they

  17. buy bibles and they send them to those countries so

  18. that those people will be able to get the Bibles.

  19. And I say that because that opens up to the word,

  20. the message that I'll be breaking forth today, And my

  21. title is the power of the Living Word. My scripture

  22. would be coming from Hebrews four and twelve. Amen. There

  23. is so much power in this word, and I think

  24. sometimes for us, especially in the United States, we take

  25. that for granted. We don't understand how much power is

  26. in the Word of God. And I'm talking about the

  27. saints in the church because I think if we've realized

  28. how much power was in the Word of God, then

  29. we would be more willing to get into.

  30. The Word of God.

  31. It wouldn't be such a struggle for people to say,

  32. read the words. You need to read the word, study

  33. the words, you need to study the Word.

  34. And I think sometimes too, we're just lazy.

  35. And maybe there's a spirit of laziness running rampant throughout

  36. the land, or somebody has convinced us that if we read,

  37. that's gonna take away lot of our time, or we

  38. could be doing something different. But there is so much

  39. within the Word of God that can help us to

  40. live the way that God has called us to live,

  41. that we miss out on it because we won't pick.

  42. Up the book. And again, we do have our phones.

  43. But if you can invest in a good book, then

  44. you can get more out of.

  45. Your study a man.

  46. And so as we get more out of our study,

  47. then it will help us to get a better understanding

  48. of what this power in this living Word can do

  49. in our lives. So again, I've had you to sit down.

  50. Now we're gonna stand up again. We're gonna keep that

  51. blood moving a man. It's powering that blood too, right, Dedre,

  52. not just that name, but it's blood too, okay. And

  53. the Word of God says for the Word of God

  54. is quick and powerful, and it's sharper than to any

  55. too edged sword, perishing even to the dividing asunder of

  56. the soul.

  57. And the spirit.

  58. And the joint and marrow, and is a discerner of

  59. the thoughts and intents of the heart. May God at

  60. a blessing to the reading, hearing, and the understanding of

  61. his words, you may be seated.

  62. Amen.

  63. Now, Holy Spirit helped me to dissect this the way

  64. you gave it to me, Amen, because I only got

  65. this one.

  66. Scripture to deal with right here. But we come off of.

  67. Some scriptures talking about the children of Israel and how

  68. they missed out on the rest. And I think what

  69. I want to take from that is out of verse seven,

  70. and it says and again he limited a certain day,

  71. saying in David, today after so long a time, as

  72. it is said today, if you will hear his voice,

  73. harden not your hearts. Sometimes we can't hear because these

  74. these old hearts of ours have been hardened. And I

  75. don't want us to not hear this word because we

  76. have hardened hearts. Sometimes even with this two edges sword,

  77. it's kind of hard for it to get through because

  78. somebody has a hardened heart, and that hardened heart is

  79. hardened because there's already been so much where that individual

  80. has not listened. Where the Lord has been given us instructions,

  81. given us directions.

  82. And we have not taken heed to it.

  83. The Holy Spirit has been dealing with us about a

  84. certain thing, but we have not taken heed to it.

  85. God does not force himself upon us, but by his

  86. spirit he will lead us. He will guide us, and

  87. he will instruct us, but he won't put you in

  88. a headlock and make you do it. That's what it

  89. means when the Bible says that we have free will.

  90. But the nature of God's word is that this book

  91. is not a dead book. This is a living book.

  92. This book is alive, it is active, and it is

  93. very effective. We should know that just by where we

  94. are right now, we're saved. We're saved, sanctified fill what

  95. the Holy Ghost should be. The Word of God has

  96. called us to wherever we are right now. Isaiah fifty

  97. five and eleven says, show shall my word be the

  98. going forth out of my mouth? It shall not return

  99. to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,

  100. and it shall prosper in the thing where to I

  101. sent it. Whatever God said in his word, it shall

  102. be why.

  103. Because he said it.

  104. Because nothing that God has said has ever went out

  105. and came back and did not happen the way God

  106. said it. We know that from the beginning of time.

  107. The Bible says that the earth was void.

  108. It was empty.

  109. There was nothing on the earth until God starts speaking.

  110. And for six days God spoke, and everything that God spoke,

  111. every word he said, it came to pass. When God said,

  112. let there be water, there was water. When God said,

  113. let there be land, there was land. When God said,

  114. let there be light, there was light. When He separated

  115. the earth from the heavens, it was separated. So everything

  116. that God spoke has come to pass, and so his

  117. word never returns to him void. So in the same sense,

  118. Jeremiah twenty three and twenty nine says, it is not

  119. my is not my word? Like a fire said the Lord,

  120. and like a hammer that breaketh the rock into pieces.

  121. God's word does exactly what it says it's gonna do.

  122. And Jeremiah twenty three and twenty nine he was talking

  123. to about some false prophets that it went out and

  124. told his people all these lies, and so God was

  125. coming against the false prophets. He wanted them to know

  126. how powerful his word was because they was lying.

  127. So and they went out and told his people lies.

  128. So when we lie, our words don't mean nothing, but

  129. what God said means everything. So God's word is so powerful.

  130. He wanted them to know that my word is like

  131. a hammer. So if I say something and my word

  132. is true, my word gonna break it, break that rock

  133. like a hammer has just hit that rock. That's how

  134. true my word is. Now your word gonna fall to

  135. the ground, especially if it's a lie. So these so again,

  136. with these prophets talking you, you wasn't saying much because

  137. you just lying. So a lot of times what we

  138. say it just falls to the ground. But when God

  139. says it, So that's how we know when we say

  140. what God says is. That's why it's so important for

  141. us to learn to not just speak what we want

  142. to say, but to speak what thus said the Lord.

  143. She was saying, and we was talking about Bible study.

  144. We was in here on Wednesday night, just saying the

  145. same thing. Be careful about when somebody always say.

  146. What they think.

  147. Or this is what I believe or I think this

  148. if it don't line up with the word of God.

  149. We don't want to be listening to what somebody else

  150. is saying, because it's not about what people think, but

  151. what is God said? Even about a situation that I

  152. may be in. I don't want to try to figure

  153. this situation out. I need to be going to the Lord.

  154. What does God say about my situation? Because so many times,

  155. even when we get into a funk, the first thing

  156. we do and we start putting everything down, woe is me.

  157. Oh I can't do this, man, this is gonna be

  158. telling And that ain't what God said.

  159. God said, we're more than conquer us in Christ.

  160. Jesus ay man, and we'll go to saying, oh this

  161. is and I can't do and that is what God said.

  162. The situation might look bad, but God didn't say it

  163. was bad. God say you can do all things through

  164. Christ Jesus, who strengthens you. You might be weak but

  165. where you weak, my strength is made what perfect. So

  166. what we do is we talk ourselves out of a

  167. lot of stuff because.

  168. We're not speaking the word.

  169. We done forgot that this word is like a two

  170. edge of sword.

  171. It can cut through that situation.

  172. So what we do is we keep ourselves in a

  173. place where we can't even adjust or we can't come

  174. up because we steady keeping ourselves down by speaking what

  175. we know, yeah, instead of saying what God has said.

  176. So we fail to realize that this book, this book,

  177. not them other books. Now, there's a lot of inspirational

  178. books out there. There's a lot of life changing books

  179. out there. Yeah, there's a lot of get rich books

  180. out there. But them books ain't like this life changing book.

  181. Them books ain't active like this book is. Them books

  182. ain't effective like this book is. And this book has

  183. everything in it. This book talks about marriage, This book

  184. talks about finances.

  185. This book talks about our highs and our lows.

  186. Why do we keep going to everything and everybody else

  187. instead of going to the good book. When we realize

  188. and understand that this book has everything that we need,

  189. then we'll stop going to everything and everybody else. And

  190. so what we want to find out what today is.

  191. What makes this two edged swords so powerful? This is

  192. also the source.

  193. Of our life. What makes this the source of our

  194. life is.

  195. Because life begin with God and God's word again in

  196. the Creation. In Creation, it was God's word about everything too.

  197. God's words are not only the source of our life,

  198. but God's words sustains life.

  199. So God's words sustains life.

  200. In Colossians one in seventeen, it says He is before

  201. all things, and in him all things hold us together.

  202. This is God's word, his word. Everything that needs to

  203. hold us is in God's word. Matthew six and eleven

  204. says it's our daily bread. If this is our daily bread,

  205. then we should daily partake in this. So many of

  206. us partaking everything else daily, but not the Word.

  207. We'll get up and we'll have a meal, but won't

  208. have a.

  209. Daily reading, a daily scripture, defeed, our spirit. We'll get

  210. up and have a daily conversation with somebody that don't

  211. know nothing about us, but won't get up and have

  212. a daily devotional with God, who knows all about us.

  213. We'll get up and watch TV every day, but won't

  214. spend no time with the word of God.

  215. That can show us how to live every day.

  216. We'll get up and do everything else but partake and

  217. what can show us how to live right every day?

  218. And then we wonder why so many of us falter

  219. at this life called Christianity, so many of us that

  220. can't live right, so many of us that still walk

  221. and sin, but call ourselves Christians. When we have a

  222. daily map, not just the daily devotional, a daily map,

  223. it's the map app the way that we should live,

  224. the way that we should go, and how we should

  225. do it when we should do it. And it's there

  226. and we won't even use it. So whether we use

  227. it on our phones or whether we use the book,

  228. it's there.

  229. And one of the things.

  230. That I like to tell people also because I hear

  231. a lot of people say, well, mate, I don't have time,

  232. I'm busy. The but the looks that excuse was taken

  233. out again when we got phones, because everybody got a

  234. Bible on their phone. You can put that little AirPod,

  235. little connector. I ain't seen nobody that did not have

  236. one of them yet. You can get the one for

  237. nineteen dollars. If you don't have one of them, will

  238. help you out put it in your error and listen

  239. to the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by

  240. the word of God. So you can listen to the

  241. word of God all day long and bill your faith up.

  242. So there's no excuses.

  243. Technology has helped us out with those excuses. So the

  244. Matthew four and Ford says, Jesus said it is written.

  245. That was Jesus' way of warfare with Satan.

  246. It is written. Whatever we need is written. It's all

  247. written in the word of God. God did not leave

  248. anything out. Everything that we need has been written down.

  249. God has given inspiration to men. I heard that story

  250. out of time where men wrote the Bible. So you're

  251. getting information information for me. And no, those men were

  252. inspired by the Holy Spirit. Come on now, now, it

  253. wasn't It wasn't written by Larry Joe. These are powerful

  254. men of God. These are men that we and especially

  255. if you're a saint. Now, if you're a Satan, you

  256. still stuck on that these were written by the men

  257. of God.

  258. You might not be a saint. Something may be written

  259. you are ank. She say they ain't. They ain't saints.

  260. Because if you believe in the Bible, then you have

  261. to believe in the whole Bible. You can't say that

  262. I believe in the Old Testament not the New Testament.

  263. I believe in the New Testament, but not the Old Testament.

  264. Or better yet, I done heard some people say, well,

  265. I believe in John, but I don't believe in Romans

  266. because Powell wrote this, but Paul didn't write that. And

  267. I believe in some of what Pauel said, but not

  268. all of what Paul said.

  269. Because Paul said this, I wrote.

  270. But this God told me, come on, now, come on,

  271. God inspired every scripture that has been written. I don't

  272. even want to hear the party about the parts that

  273. are not in the Bible. God gave us what we

  274. needed to know. He gave us what we needed to know.

  275. This is for us.

  276. And then what I say about the books that are

  277. not in the Bible, know the Bible, and then go

  278. look for the books that are not in the Bible.

  279. But if you don't know this, why you're worried about

  280. what's not in here? You don't even know what's in here,

  281. but you married about what's not in here. I mean,

  282. that don't even make sense. You ain't even got this,

  283. damn Pat, But you're looking for the book of Enoch

  284. and all the other books that ain't even in here,

  285. and that's what it is.

  286. But who is the author of confusion?

  287. Come on now, your adversary, if he can get you,

  288. I'll come misconstrued about this and then have you looking

  289. for something that ain't even in here. Now you're even

  290. more confused. So I'm just saying, get to know this. First,

  291. study this, and then go out there. And if you

  292. got this and you feel like you're living according to

  293. all of this, then go get that. But right now,

  294. let's get this and all you're getting, get an understanding

  295. of this. Yeah, because we need this right here, because

  296. right now what we really need is we need to

  297. be transformed and renewed within our minds. So many of

  298. us still have the world in us. We still Carnel minded. Yeah,

  299. we hadn't even been transformed yet, and we're trying to

  300. put some other stuff in us. So we need to

  301. know that the power of the living Word has come

  302. to transform us. That's why he said it's sharper than

  303. a two edges sword. I looked up what a two

  304. edges sword looked like. It's a knife, this double sided,

  305. so when it goes in it was used in warfare.

  306. So when that knife went in, it cut on both

  307. sides the same way, so it doubled up on its

  308. work going in and coming out, so it cut in

  309. a percise way when it went in, but also when

  310. it come out. So what it said was it did

  311. a lot of damage. And in the damage that it did,

  312. it said it was like it had consequences to it

  313. because it would do some good damage and some bad

  314. damage sometimes.

  315. Yeah, yeah, good damage because.

  316. Sometimes now because sometimes there's some good damage need to

  317. be done. Sometimes you still got some stuff in you

  318. that need to come out.

  319. Now, I'm just.

  320. Saying, See, you might not have realized that, but God do,

  321. because God know us inside out right.

  322. Yeah.

  323. So so so some of that good damage is that

  324. stuff that's still in you, and you may not have

  325. recognized all better yet you might even know it's in there. Yeah,

  326. you just ain't saying nothing, Yeah, because you you had

  327. that's the part of you you trying to hold on too.

  328. You know when I when I was first learning to

  329. be a prayer warrior, and the late Lady More would

  330. have people to come in here and train us, and

  331. we had a lady one time to tell us quit

  332. patent on them while you praying for them, she say,

  333. because you patting on them spirits were trying to deliver

  334. them and set them free. And they come up here

  335. and y'all comforting and patting on them spirits. Yeah, y'all, y'all,

  336. y'all stand back, cause you don't never know, she say.

  337. And so while we praying and calling our spirits, if

  338. you patent on them, you making those spirits feel comfortable.

  339. So so back up, and don't ever let them come

  340. up here holding hands, she said. If they come up

  341. here like couples, separate them, cause when they come up

  342. here like couples, they feel sorry for each other, especially

  343. if one of them go to cry, she say, So

  344. separate them and let them babies cry, a women, man,

  345. whoever it is, let them cry, and let it get

  346. them out of them, she say, because sometimes.

  347. They be filled with spirits. It's demon spirits.

  348. And if you go to patent on them spirits, them

  349. spirits start to feel comfortable and don't want to come

  350. up out of there, So don't pat on them. See,

  351. sometimes we be holding onto stuff and don't understand what

  352. we holding onto. But the thing about this word is

  353. this word know everything, and why you holding on the

  354. something because you think it's just a little bit of that. See,

  355. it only took a little bit of livin spoil a

  356. whole God know what it is. So that's why he

  357. said a two edges spoid, cause you'd send that baby

  358. in there and let that baby do what that baby

  359. need to do. That's why the Word is like that

  360. two edges sword, because the word know what to go

  361. in there and cut and bring it out. You might

  362. not want that word to go in there and cut

  363. it and bring it out, but you best believe once

  364. the word get in you know, the word gonna go

  365. in there to do what the Word know to do. Now,

  366. it just depends on you whether you're gonna partake in

  367. the cutting. You got to be able to partake in

  368. the cutting. That's why it's so important for us to

  369. partake in the Word, and so many of us won't

  370. partake in it. And that's the scary thing, because it's important.

  371. We have to have it for our making. Again, the

  372. Word says we must be transformed. It's the only thing

  373. that transforms us into being who we were supposed to be,

  374. were supposed to be Christ Like, I don't know how

  375. to be like Christ. If I don't know who Christ was,

  376. this is the only example of who Christ was. This

  377. mirror's Christ. There's no other book the mirrors Christ. I

  378. can't go get a news paper, I can't go to

  379. a scholastics and get a book. The only book the

  380. mirror of Christ is this one. So in order for

  381. me to be transformed into the image of Christ, I

  382. must partake in the reading of the Bible. They call

  383. it the Basic Instructions before leaving Earth. I call it

  384. the Mirror of Christ. I used to be kind of

  385. confused on why I needed to study it, and that's

  386. my testimony.

  387. I thought I needed to memorize scripture.

  388. That was the lot of enemy told me when I

  389. first got say I needed to memorize scripture. It has

  390. nothing to do with memorizing scripture. I'm just gonna help

  391. you out. God wants me to know him. He don't

  392. want me to memorize no scripture. If I get in here.

  393. While I'm in here, if I memorize some scripture, that's good.

  394. I just heard a bunch of people that was memorizing scripture,

  395. so hey, that was the thing. Girl, Get in here

  396. so you can memorize scripture. But without knowledge and revelation

  397. of who he is. Memorizing scripture don't do you no good,

  398. waste the time. Yeah, it's to reveal him to me

  399. and to show me how to live. So that's what

  400. it's for. So that's why we get to this scripture. See,

  401. they they needed to find some rest in him. It's

  402. hard to find rest in somebody that you don't know. Yeah, yeah, no,

  403. I see, you can't find rest in somebody you don't know.

  404. We don't even trust people that we don't know. Hey, God, hallelujah.

  405. How can you find rest in somebody that you don't know?

  406. So we have to know him through his word. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

  407. So the Word of Christ John one in fourteen, Hey God,

  408. hallelujah and John one in fourteen, and it says in

  409. the Word was made flesh. The word is Christ. It

  410. was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld

  411. his glory as of the only Begod, in Father, full

  412. of grace and truth.

  413. Logos is who he is. Logos is Greek for the

  414. word that's Jesus. Jesus was the word.

  415. God took Jesus and placed him in flesh rolled up

  416. his word and put it in flesh, and it walked

  417. among us Jesus, the little baby wrapped in swallowing clothes,

  418. the lily of the valley, the bright morning star.

  419. Deidri is the word. That's why it is so important.

  420. Did we get to know him as.

  421. The word and then let him do what he came

  422. to do. He came to transform it us into his image.

  423. Who knows him better than he do?

  424. And so when we partaking the word, we partaken him.

  425. John five and thirty nine said, search the scriptures, for

  426. in them ye think ye have eternal life.

  427. And they are they which testify me.

  428. That's what Jesus was telling the people. Y'all think y'all

  429. got it all together. Just don't know that when you

  430. searching these scriptures they testifying to me.

  431. Because they kept telling him he was blasphemous. Who gonna

  432. testify you? He said, my father. But when you search

  433. the scriptures.

  434. They testified me too, all of them smart phariseesans. Had

  435. you sees, y'all have read all that word, and this

  436. don't testified to me, And y'all still don't even believe it.

  437. So when we search the scriptures, they testify Jesus. They

  438. testify who.

  439. We should be, how we should be, how we should walk,

  440. how we should talk, how we should act. Hey, yeah,

  441. I'm just saying we don't get to be who we

  442. want to be. We've been paid for with the price.

  443. We no longer belong to us anymore. Yeah, so we

  444. get a whole new makeover. And then the makeover just

  445. in case some of us decide I don't want to

  446. look like that. As we read the word, it helps

  447. us to see exactly how we are supposed to look.

  448. You can never have the.

  449. Fruit of the spirit if you don't partake in the word.

  450. And then he says, this is how you know them.

  451. How would I know? How would they know? You'll know

  452. them by the fruit that they bear. And then I

  453. hear people say, well, I don't care what people think,

  454. and it don't matter to what people say. Well, that

  455. deck to differ, because the Bible says that's how.

  456. You gonna know them. He wants them to know us.

  457. He want us to be separated from them. Yeah, we're

  458. supposed to look different from the world. We're supposed to

  459. talk different, act different. Yeah, that's like saying I'm gonna

  460. send all my kids over here and then I'm gonna

  461. put Jenny.

  462. Seu's kids over here.

  463. But I want y'all to tell me what's the difference

  464. between my kids and Jenny's How y'all gonna know my

  465. kids from Jenny Suz's kids. There has to be a

  466. difference between my kids and Jenny Seu's kids.

  467. Because if it ain't.

  468. A difference between my kids and Jenny Schoo's kids, when

  469. I say, go get my girl, you realven win got

  470. Jenny Schoo's girl and bother to men, I don't want

  471. Jenny Sue's girl.

  472. I want my girl.

  473. And I'm just saying if that simplifies that, because well,

  474. some people will kind of get messed up on that one,

  475. and that's carnal. If that's the way you still think

  476. that we should not be separate from the world, that's carnal,

  477. meaning that's worldly thinking we should be separate from the world.

  478. God wants to make sure that we.

  479. Know the difference between his children and Satan's children, because

  480. he said that there is his children and their Satan's children.

  481. God himself says that that's not me, that's that's in

  482. the word. So we need to make sure that we

  483. get in alignment with God, say soul on what his

  484. children should look like. So this is the nature Hallelujah

  485. of God. But we want to get to the power

  486. of his word. Amen, because that his word is sharp,

  487. he said. God's word is sharper than a two edges

  488. of sword. It's sharpened on both sides. But figuratively it

  489. refers to something with both positive and negative consequences, something

  490. that cuts both ways, harming both intended targets and potentially

  491. the user or cause. The word of God is more

  492. potent than any physical weapon because it's able to expose

  493. your deepest.

  494. And most internal parts without grave injury or physical death.

  495. It's not much can do that, but the word of

  496. God can.

  497. It can expose your inner parts, your most innerparts, without

  498. killing you, not physically but spiritually. And a lot of

  499. us got some spiritual things that possibly need to be

  500. put to death that ain't right with God. Amen says,

  501. it's never never wounds randomly, and it cuts with a purpose.

  502. Paul in Ephesians sixteen seventeen calls it the sword of

  503. the spirit as one of our weapons in a spiritual warfare.

  504. The word of God is what we war with. It

  505. is our power to win a spiritual warfare. Tewod Corinthians

  506. ten and four says, for the weapons of our warfare

  507. are not cardinal, but they're mighty unto God for the

  508. pulling down the strongholds.

  509. So we need the word of God as a way

  510. to fight with.

  511. At the word of God of a way to fight,

  512. then we will be fighting like.

  513. The world fight.

  514. And God ain't called us to fight with these fists.

  515. God has called us again to fight with the word

  516. of God. Remember, Jesus just kept telling Satan, it is written,

  517. and that's all he said.

  518. Satan was the it is written.

  519. And so many of us are still fighting Satan by

  520. I don't even know what, because we're still fighting Satan,

  521. and Satan's still messing with us, and we're still giving

  522. him the word.

  523. Maybe we're giving him the wrong word.

  524. Maybe we are coming at him with I'm sick of you,

  525. because he's saying you what, instead of telling him he's

  526. a defeated folk, get up under my feet, I'm tired,

  527. leave me alone.

  528. And he saying, you say you what, And so he.

  529. Keep coming back, and it's the same situation, and you

  530. keep telling him the same thing, and he's saying, but

  531. she say what, So he keeps sending them over there

  532. when we need to tell him that God said I

  533. was more than a conqueror, that I'm the head and

  534. I'm not to tell that you get behind me. Yeah,

  535. the Lord rebukes you, Satan. You know you are lieing

  536. and the Word is the truth. Whatever I mean. If

  537. we study telling him, well, my baby is my baby,

  538. so don't touch.

  539. Her, I mean, he don't understand that.

  540. And he don't because you you talking to him in

  541. the language that he don't understand. We have to we

  542. have to remember that Satan no the word. That was

  543. the only reason why he could be defeated with And

  544. remember he was taking the word and he was manipulating it. Yeah,

  545. Satan don't have his own Satan takes the word of

  546. God and he imitates.

  547. So if he's the.

  548. Imitator of the word of God and you're giving him

  549. something that you God, he don't imitate you, so he

  550. don't know what you're talking about.

  551. But if you give him.

  552. The word of God because he imitates God, then yeah,

  553. he understand that. So he know that he can't get

  554. over on God, but if he can get over on you,

  555. so that helps him to know whether it's you or

  556. whether it's God. So we need to remember that we're

  557. not fighting somebody on our level. We fight somebody just

  558. on God's level, and he understands where our level is

  559. once we start talking to him. And if we're talking

  560. to him and we're talking to him in our own language.

  561. I got her. Yeah, I'm not worried about her. She

  562. don't even know the word, she says, she hears. So

  563. another reason for us to get into the word. While

  564. the Word is cleaning us up, then we can also

  565. get us.

  566. Some scripture to fight with. They man. The word is

  567. also Pierson.

  568. The word of God pierces the heart of men, which

  569. brings forth conviction. Acts two and thirty seven says, now

  570. when they heard this, they were pricked in their hearts.

  571. The word of God brings forth conviction if it's not

  572. convicting you on something that you did. Because when I

  573. was writing this one day, and the Lord reminded me

  574. of how when I first got saved, and people I

  575. was saying, ooh, that that convicts me. I can't listen

  576. to that no more. That convict me? And they'd be like,

  577. will they convict you? It don't convict me? And I say, well,

  578. I can't. I can't do this no more, y'all because

  579. that convict me. Man, they convict you, but it don't

  580. convict me. And so he reminded me that everybody don't

  581. get convicted because a lot of people just don't take convictions,

  582. not that they don't get convicted.

  583. We might not be convicted about every little thing that's

  584. the same, but sin is sin.

  585. So if it's a sin and you ain't getting convicted,

  586. that's that's just because you're not getting convicted or you're

  587. not heeding to the conviction. Put it that way, because

  588. some people won't. And that's what starts to hearten your heart.

  589. And that's what the Lord.

  590. Showed me because there's some people that he's convicted about

  591. sining and they just want heed to the conviction. And

  592. so the more that your God convicts you about a

  593. sin and you don't heed to that conviction, you get

  594. your heart gets heartened towards him because you're not listening.

  595. So one of the other things he took me back

  596. to was when I was first saved, because I was

  597. newly saved, I wasn't raised up in the church yet.

  598. Most of y'all know my test money. And so I

  599. had a young lady that used to always bring me scriptures,

  600. and I thank God for now. I didn't then because

  601. I just thought she was always beating up on me,

  602. and so was God, which again helped me to understand

  603. what this sword does. Because it hurts, it don't feel good,

  604. but God chastings those whom he loves. So she would

  605. bring me scriptures. First, lady, love more than I'm telling you.

  606. Man.

  607. I thought this her and God had it after me,

  608. and I would ask God all the time, why you

  609. keep beating me up?

  610. Every scripture she gave me was bad.

  611. I mean he was gonna curse me and he was

  612. gonna do stuff to me. This was like old Testament,

  613. Go get them people scriptures.

  614. And I was like, good this, Jesus, I mean, like

  615. what I do.

  616. And then you're a foreigner, cater, you're an adulterys and

  617. you did you nasty up and I was like goodness.

  618. But I didn't know what she was talking about. I

  619. didn't know church. So but what it did was push

  620. me to read the word and look up stuff.

  621. Because what's a fornicato? Well looked up fornicato. It was me.

  622. I said, oh, Lord, I'm fornicating. Yeah, I was a fornicator.

  623. Not only was our fornicado, y'all, I was an adulteress.

  624. I didn't know what that meant. I was.

  625. I was married and me and Alden had got back together,

  626. and hey, I did not know.

  627. This and I was doing all this stuff.

  628. But let me help you out if it's any fornicatos

  629. adulteress over the earl waves or sitting here, I'm just

  630. telling you.

  631. As soon as the Lord.

  632. Bout this to my attention, soon as he did, I

  633. felt a conviction. My heart didn't feel right no more.

  634. And so I went to him and I said, boy,

  635. we can't do this no more. I did, no, sure,

  636. sure cannot because I don't feel right and this ain't right.

  637. And yet man, and tried it.

  638. After I had found out then it wasn't right, and

  639. heart was hurt. Heart was heavy, and I man, I say,

  640. you got to go stay with your sister or something

  641. got to give. And because of who God is, that's

  642. how I know the word will hurt if you living

  643. right for God and you want to do right for God.

  644. Yeah, yeah, that conviction gonna come.

  645. It's gonna hurt, but God gonna help you to get right,

  646. because I didn't know nothing about no divorces, none of that.

  647. And I'm telling you God worked that thing out. I

  648. did my own divorce, didn't need a lawyer. I was

  649. telling somebody the other day that was my testimony. Thrifty

  650. nickel newspaper. I they don't even think they made thrifty

  651. nickels anymore, But I wouldn't. Got a thrifty nickel newspaper

  652. from United Grocery Store.

  653. I'll never forget it.

  654. In the thrifty nickel newspaper, there was an ad that

  655. said you could do your own self divorce. Got that

  656. at that newspaper. Did my own self divorce. When printed

  657. out the paperwork, went to the courthouse, got what I

  658. need to do. I don't even know how long it took,

  659. but it did not take long. I ain't even have

  660. the money for the divorce. That's fine, because God was

  661. all up in this thing. My ex husband was looking

  662. for a divorce too. The man drove from Fort Work,

  663. came down here, paid for the divorce. Thirty days later

  664. we was divorced. I think thirty days later we were

  665. standing right here and this man was marrying us. Don't

  666. you tell me what God won't do when you trying

  667. to do it right. See that's what I'm saying. But

  668. that's this word is powerful because all this come through

  669. the reading of the word.

  670. One woman read it, told me about it. I went

  671. back and read it, and conviction came. I was able

  672. to be transformed, renewed in my mind. And now don't

  673. walking and write standing with God. See, people that.

  674. Don't change, they don't change because they don't want to change.

  675. See I said that earlier. Some people just have an excuse.

  676. They want to stay in sin. But God don't want

  677. us to stay in sin. That's why he gave us

  678. a whole book, a living word. See, we don't have

  679. much time. We ain't never had much time, even though

  680. we don't know when that time is. I always say

  681. this time is not based off of Jesus. Do you

  682. know how many people have passed and Jesus still ain't came.

  683. It has nothing to do about when Jesus is coming,

  684. when you going.

  685. Because if we keep waiting on Jesus.

  686. To come, some of us not even gonna be here

  687. when we get here. We can't let that be our excuse.

  688. We need to get it right. While the time is right.

  689. So we have to understand that this word is so

  690. powerful that God is using the word right now to

  691. change us.

  692. Right now.

  693. You might not have tomorrow, but you got right now.

  694. So because this word is piercing, it appears through everything

  695. that the enemy is trying to use or you trying

  696. to use to.

  697. Keep God from getting through it.

  698. The Holy Spirit uses the word to perience the heart,

  699. producing repentance. When I didn't know, God knew, and God

  700. used the word to get to me. So in that

  701. it's almost like the word does a surgical operation.

  702. When he gave me that, I thought of the surgeon.

  703. I end up having five surgeons within a four year span,

  704. and I think the worst out of all of them surgeons.

  705. I used to think was the.

  706. Anesthesia, but after doing this study, I think the worst

  707. was the cut. Even though you can't feel the cut

  708. when you come out of the surgeon.

  709. If anybody has.

  710. Ever had a surgery, when you come out of the

  711. surgery and you look at that cut, and how precise

  712. that surgeon is with that cut, can you see the

  713. precision of God? If that surgeon has been trained to

  714. do such a precise cut, Just think of our Father

  715. when he cuts thank God Man.

  716. He's surgical. Two.

  717. Hey, God, the word and that word is just cutting,

  718. and it's doing the right word to cut right how

  719. to cut, knowing what to cut, what not to cut,

  720. making sure he gets exactly what he needs, and being

  721. able to go around what he don't need so that

  722. he don't hurt anything.

  723. Because if you ever had a surgery and.

  724. They like missed the spot and got the wrong thing.

  725. I done.

  726. Heard some people say, well, they should have went over here,

  727. but no they didn't.

  728. They went over there. But it says where the word

  729. goes deeper.

  730. That's the surgical operation, to not only deal with the what,

  731. but the why. The word exposes the enner, the soul,

  732. and the spirit. Like a skilled surgeon. The word of

  733. God doesn't just treat the symptoms. God gets to the

  734. root of things. The surgical procedure brings forth transformation, which

  735. means the cut in the way of sinful habits and thoughts.

  736. And because no surgery is without pain, Hebrews twelve and

  737. eleven says, now no chastening for the present seemeth to

  738. be joyous, but grievous. Nevertheless, afterword it yielded the peaceable

  739. fruit of righteousness. Unto them which are exercised. Thereby, it's

  740. gonna hurt for a little while, but just know it's

  741. working for your good. Yeah, I'm telling you it hurt

  742. for a little while, and that's how you know that

  743. you don't need it. That's how you know that you

  744. don't need it, because no.

  745. Pain, no gain.

  746. I've never gained anything without a little pain. That's even

  747. an exercise. You don't gain muscle without some pain. You

  748. got to put in some work to get that. And

  749. when you start putting in that work, it hurts. That's

  750. how you can normally tell when the muscle is starting

  751. to get tight, because you will start getting that pain.

  752. That's why i ain't did it in a while, But

  753. I'm just being honest with you. You'll start feeling that it's tension,

  754. and it's like that with us in our lives. But

  755. you gotta keep at it. And it's the same way

  756. with partaking in the word. We gotta keep at it.

  757. The word can't.

  758. Never exposed to us who we really are.

  759. If I only pick it up once a month, I'm

  760. gonna take that back, because that's even if you only

  761. pick it up once a week, And for some of us,

  762. if you only pick it up once a day. If

  763. we have enough time to pick up the word once

  764. or twice a day and be consistent in that and

  765. not just pick it up and read it. One of

  766. the things that I'm learning to do is the when

  767. I get into the word, say here I am, Lord

  768. exposed me to me. That's been my prayer, and I

  769. believe that's why the Lord gave me this message. Because

  770. the more that I pray that, the more that I

  771. find Him exposing me to me. I done got to

  772. the point where I'm not praying to God about other

  773. people anymore. I'm praying to God about me, because if

  774. I'm not right, I can't help nobody else get right.

  775. And what I look like praying and asking God to

  776. do something fix somebody else? And I'm broke. So the

  777. first thing I do now when I do my prayer time,

  778. it's hearing my Lord. I'm like David, here a mine

  779. expose me to me, because I believe that there's some

  780. stuff in me that sometimes I don't see why because

  781. I'm not perfect. I'm not perfect, and I can falter

  782. at any time, don't I done. Just been sitting y'all,

  783. and then had some thoughts, and I'll be.

  784. Like, whoa, Yike's what happen? Damn?

  785. Where did that come from? And I'm just saying that

  786. all honesty. I can always tell on me. First, I

  787. don't know where that came from. That was not even

  788. my thought. Lord Jesus, get that out of my head.

  789. So I have to watch me. I have to take

  790. care of me, filter my mind, filter my body.

  791. Lord, anything in me does.

  792. Not like you, Lord, uproot that thing right now, in

  793. the name of Jesus.

  794. You cut it out.

  795. And so I'm saying, that's what his word does.

  796. So when I get into the word, Lord, use your

  797. word to expose me.

  798. Is there any ill thoughts, any ill feelings, anything in

  799. me does not like you.

  800. Man, expose that thing to me.

  801. And so that's what the Lord was showing me when

  802. he was talking about the surgical procedure, because that's what

  803. he does. And in surgery he can expose everything because

  804. in surgery he can cut you open.

  805. The word can cut you open, expose.

  806. And go in there and surgically remove anything that needs

  807. to be taken out. Because he said, sometimes there can

  808. be some hidden things in us, some things that we

  809. don't even see. That's why it's good to pray that prayer.

  810. Verse thirteen says, neither is there any creature that is

  811. not manifest in his sight, But all things are naked

  812. and open into the eyes of.

  813. Him with whom we have to do. He can see it.

  814. It might be something to know.

  815. You can't say here, I am, Lord, here, I am.

  816. I don't think we think about stuff like that, but

  817. he know. So we need to start saying, Lord, here,

  818. I am. Search me if you ain't scared to say that,

  819. because I think that takes something to be able to

  820. say Lord, here, I am anything in me? Yeah, because

  821. that's the only way that we're gonna find out, because

  822. there's some hidden and He wants us to know that.

  823. And some of that.

  824. Stuff won't ever come out except that we give God

  825. permission to take it out, because again, we serve a

  826. God that does not force himself upon us.

  827. It's some stuff that you've gotten.

  828. You got it because you want to keep it, and

  829. He not gonna just forcefully take that thing from you.

  830. He probably been dealing with you again and bought for

  831. some convictions and you still not listening, so you still

  832. got that thing. But we're praying for you on today

  833. that you'll have a heart in mind to take heed

  834. to this word. The Word of God does not just

  835. look at what we do again, it looks at why

  836. we do what we do. Psalms thirty nine, twenty three

  837. and twenty four says, search me, Oh God, that's me.

  838. Search me, o God, and know my heart.

  839. Try me and know my thoughts, and see if there

  840. be any wicked way in me, and lead me in

  841. the way of everlasting. Many of times there are things

  842. in us that again even we don't know of we

  843. have closed our eyes to or our ears.

  844. If the spirit has been trying to deal with us again,

  845. it's time.

  846. For us to say, here I am Lord, to commit

  847. ourselves unto God, to say, Lord, have done own weigh

  848. in us. The exposures as mentioned earlier will lead us

  849. to a place of repentance, but not only a place

  850. of repentance, a place of renewal in our thoughts and

  851. in our hearts. Our response for this should be that

  852. we should want to read more with an expectation when

  853. we read the Word of God.

  854. It's not again just.

  855. To especially if you would memorizing scripture. If you memorize

  856. some scripture, that's good. Yeah, If you don't again the

  857. Holy Spirit to bring it back to you, and it's

  858. needed a man. But we should have an expectation that

  859. when we read, expect for our lives to be changed.

  860. First off, because that's what it's for.

  861. Expect for God to change our lives through the partaking

  862. of His word.

  863. Expect to be transformed again.

  864. The Bible says that if we've all been called to

  865. be transformed, transformed and renew within our minds, how can

  866. we be changed from who we used to be to

  867. who God has called us to be without knowing the

  868. word of God. We don't even know know who we're

  869. supposed to be if we don't know the word of God.

  870. I mean, the butterfly didn't know that it was I

  871. mean the caterpillar didn't know it was supposed to be

  872. a butterfly until it turned it into a butterfly. So

  873. we don't know until we get in here, and that

  874. is so important. I don't know why church people think

  875. that they're not supposed to read to God, that everything

  876. they get they're supposed to get from the pastor of

  877. a Sunday school teacher or whoever has the word, because

  878. you can't take them home with you, and you only

  879. see them once a week, twice a week if you

  880. go to Bible study. And so then you have Christians

  881. walking around here who don't know anything. And like when

  882. we're saying on Wednesday, they're feeding off of social media.

  883. And half the people on social media, man.

  884. They're they're googling, they're chat yeah, chat GPT.

  885. I was looking at a couple the other day, and

  886. and they have whatever you want to call it. And

  887. they're on the telling people that you don't sin once

  888. you get saved, that you you don't sin, and they're

  889. arguing with people who are saying, well I do sin, Well,

  890. you don't have to. But that's the whole reason why

  891. we have an advocate in heaven. It's the whole reason

  892. why God gives us the opportunity to ask for forgiveness.

  893. So if we were gonna never send no more, but

  894. they arguing with them. So hey, but I'm just saying,

  895. we got all of these people walking around in confusion

  896. because they won't pick up the word and get and

  897. be informed by them own selves. Will probably read a

  898. love story before they'll read the Bible, which makes no sense,

  899. especially if you're gonna call yourself a Christian, but have

  900. an expectation when we read the Bible and expect the

  901. Bible to convict you.

  902. Unless you're perfect, I get convicted.

  903. I'm just saying, because I'll be reading this sometimes I'll be.

  904. Like, oh, yeah.

  905. I don't close it, but I'd be like whooah. I mean,

  906. it helps us to know that the Word of God

  907. is for us, it's living. And again we talk about

  908. how reading some of the scriptures in the Old Testament.

  909. We're looking at the Old Testament right now, seeing a

  910. lot of the things that was in the Old Testament

  911. written hawever many years ago. Goodness, it's been manifested right

  912. before our eyes in the world that we're living in

  913. right now.

  914. So we know that.

  915. This word is a living word. I mean when people

  916. say that I don't believe in the Bible, well, you

  917. keep believing what you want to believe. But I see

  918. some of the stuff that was written over two thousand

  919. years ago, way over two thousand years ago, this happening

  920. right now today. Yeah, So you keep believing what you

  921. want to believe. So when I get in here, I

  922. got an expectation. And then the other thing is engaged

  923. with the word. We're taught that in Bible study. When

  924. I first joined the church, ask questions, what, why?

  925. Why? When? How? So? You said? What God? You meant

  926. to say? What? Yeah, engage with what you're reading, ask

  927. those questions, and then submit submit to the word of God.

  928. Don't resist the word when it exposes you of your

  929. sin and your wrongdoing. Man, Okay, Lord, I see why

  930. I was wrong. That's why I said when I heard

  931. that I was a fornicator, Okay, hey, I got to.

  932. Make this right. I just didn't know what fornicating was.

  933. I wasn't shamed, man, I'm hey, I got to get

  934. this right. Man.

  935. And again, it did not feel right. Sining.

  936. You should not feel good if you see that you're sinning.

  937. Man, I don't. I don't know about anybody else. But

  938. it hurt me.

  939. And the reason that I I believe it hurt me

  940. is because what I realized is that I was hurting

  941. God for me. It hurt me to know that I

  942. was hurting him.

  943. There was a girl.

  944. I have a real deep sensitivity to hurting God.

  945. I had the spirit convict me a.

  946. While back about what was that having some bitterness and

  947. and I think I cried because I didn't I didn't

  948. want to have bitterness in my heart.

  949. My whole thing was I was dealing.

  950. With some stuff and like I said, I can always

  951. tell on me. I was really struggling in the area

  952. and I was like, well, hey, Lord, kind of like

  953. sister Tamika there. I mean, I think we be going

  954. through stuff and we kind of keep it to ourselves.

  955. But I was still the place, was like, okay, God,

  956. I'm ready to go.

  957. I was gonna take my own self out, but I

  958. know I'm with you, so you can take me.

  959. Yeah. And then the Lord told me.

  960. Now, cause if I take you right now now, you're

  961. not going with me. And I was like why And

  962. he allowed me to see that I had some bitterness

  963. in my heart and I'm just that's how our Father

  964. works with us. And so I needed to get that

  965. thing right. And when the Lord showed me that I

  966. had some bitterness, Hey, what I need to do to

  967. work that thing out? And so anytime there's some sin,

  968. because that's not that's sin.

  969. God ain't called us up to walk in bitterness. Yo.

  970. If you need to forgive somebody, you need to forget

  971. that person. Don't let Satan tell you, hey that it's

  972. okay to be mad and angry for a long time.

  973. The devil is a lie.

  974. That's that scripture again, all those words is in here.

  975. Sometimes we just get in our flesh, won't let some

  976. stuff go cause cause we want to do woe is me,

  977. or whatever the case may be. So we need to

  978. make sure that we're always in the right standing with God.

  979. That's why I say, Lord exposed me to me on today.

  980. So helping somebody out, make sure we're out daily, go

  981. before the Lord daily.

  982. Lord, I repent on today. Lord, forgive me on today.

  983. God, if it's something that I need to get right,

  984. because that's why I say. It ain't even always about

  985. when Jesus is coming, but I want to make sure

  986. it ain't time for me to go and I'm going

  987. and I'm in a state that's not right with you.

  988. So make sure that once we see something, we submit

  989. ourselves unto God.

  990. God, I want to make sure I'm in right standing

  991. with You.

  992. And then as we're in the word, obey and apply

  993. so that we can be transformed. If I'm reading something

  994. and I'm not in obedience to that part of the word, no, no, no, no,

  995. let me get that right and let me apply that

  996. to God. Transfer happens when we can be convicted about

  997. a thing and then bring it into action by changing it.

  998. I'm not right in this area, so I feel a conviction. God,

  999. forgive me. Let's make this right. I need to get

1000. this right with you, God. I need to align myself

1001. with your will and your way so that I can

1002. get some help in this area. And then closing, let

1003. us be committed to letting the Bible vibrantly live through

1004. us daily, meaning that we must be partakers of God's

1005. word daily that it may have its perfect work within

  1006. us and.

  1007. Through over us.

1008. God's word doesn't work within us, we miss out on

1009. what God wants to do when we don't partake in

  1010. his word.

1011. God wants to change us. He wants to transform us.

1012. He wants to renew us in our mind, that old

1013. thinking thinking that we be doing.

1014. God want that out of us, that thinking like the world,

1015. that living like the world, that doing.

1016. Things like the world. Y'all, that's all cardinal. God ain't

1017. called us to be cardinal. There is no way.

1018. The Bible says that the cornal mind is that enmity

1019. with God. It's at war with God. So if I'm

  1020. at war with God.

1021. No no, No, that means there's no peace between me

  1022. and him.

1023. I want to be at peace with the Father.

1024. I'm just saying, man, I just said, because who can

1025. find rest in somebody that they don't trust? And I

1026. want God to I don't only want to trust God, y'all,

1027. I want God to trust me. I think meant that

1028. was a conversation me and you used to have if

1029. he was your if he'd seen you as a friend,

1030. and I would say, he see me as a friend

  1031. because we're friends.

1032. Men, God, I don't know about everybody else. Yeah, yeah,

  1033. that yeah.

1034. And I want to keep it that way. So I

1035. don't want to have carnal thoughts.

  1036. I don't want to walk with carnal thoughts. I don't

1037. want to have carnal ways.

1038. And so I used to but here all the time

1039. when I first got saved, and now I hear it

  1040. all the time.

1041. So I guess it ain't even just from years ago.

1042. Some other people have picked it up and.

1043. They running with it that you're so spiritual, you're no

  1044. earthly good.

1045. That that that makes no sense, makes no sense.

1046. You cannot be so spiritual that you cannot be any

  1047. earthly good.

  1048. God has called.

1049. Us to be spiritual. We are spiritual beings. That's why

1050. you're such a peculiar person. We are not supposed to

1051. be like the world. When we can get that out

1052. of our mindsets, God has not called us to be

1053. like the world. How can you continue to witness to

1054. somebody and you just like them, and you have the

1055. same thoughts as that they they have, You have the

1056. same ways that that what are we witnessing to them about.

1057. You can't witness to the world to the dark about

1058. light if you're not the light.

1059. Light and darkness is different.

1060. If the dark witnesses to the dark, that's not a

  1061. witness that's a conversation.

1062. So that's why we don't witness to each other.

1063. What we do is fellowship the Bible cause it fellowship

1064. because of a communion. We witness to dark because the

1065. light should illuminate the darkness. But dark don't witness to dark,

1066. and light don't witness to light.

  1067. There's a because there's a difference.

1068. So spiritual don't witness to spiritual. Spiritual witness to carnal.

1069. But if you have a carnal mindset and you're bringing

1070. colnel to colonel, you're not witnessing because you're giving them

1071. the same thing that they already have. They need to

1072. know something different. If my friend, when she was coming

1073. to me, if she would have come to me with

1074. worldly things, I more than likely would have never accepted

1075. what she gave me. And the thing about my friend

1076. was I got saved first, and she was Jehovah's witness.

1077. She got saved through me because she recognized the difference.

1078. We used to be drinking buddies.

1079. And when I got saved, she said, he did such

  1080. a thing with you.

1081. I want what you got.

1082. So we literally at work, went into the bathroom and

1083. again did the senter's prayer what I knew to do

1084. as a center's prayer, and he got saved automatically.

  1085. She started changing.

1086. So when she started changing and stopped doing the Jehovah

  1087. witness thing.

1088. She already had some word in her because she was

1089. Jehovah witness. I've never met a Jehovah witness that did

1090. not have word. So she started preaching to me. Because

1091. I'm new to the word. I didn't get saved with

1092. no word, y'all. I just got saved. And I always

  1093. get his testimony.

1094. Because I loved my brother in law and my sister

1095. in law, and I remember when I first got saved.

1096. They was trying to tell me how to read my Bible. Y'all.

1097. I didn't know nothing about nothing. And Vivi girl used

1098. to teach Sunday school and Chill.

1099. Gave me his prison ministry and he did and he

1100. used to tell me, well, my nickname was we We

1101. for y'all to didn't know, he said.

1102. We we read the Book of Proverbs.

1103. You can read a chapter of day because he got

1104. thirty one chapters in it, and read you a chapter

1105. every day, and that'll help you with the Book of Proverbs.

1106. Something they helped me. I tell you, I didn't know

1107. nothing by nothing. And Lin would tell me read some

1108. scriptures because I talked Sunday school. And then he'll come Brenda,

1109. and she was the one that was doing all the preaching.

1110. That was her name, and she would give me all

  1111. these scriptures.

1112. But she was helping me. But they wasn't giving me

  1113. what the world said.

1114. Now, my sister in law and my brother in law

1115. wasn't professing to be saved, but Brenda was. But I

1116. was still receiving for all of them because they was

1117. giving me word. Now you talking to a bunch of

1118. drunks that used to go sit under the tree. And

1119. while we was under the tree, y'all, we used to

1120. tell Bible study. I don't know if you nothing.

1121. She's shaking our head, so I know she remember. I

  1122. was just being safe.

1123. I don't know if she remember, but we used to

1124. we used to w uh and now he I can't

1125. even uh. Don Radley would be over there cooking now,

1126. and he saved. So I'm just saying, look how the

1127. Lord is, cause Don Ridley used to be over there barbecuing,

1128. and we be setting under this tree, and we'd all

1129. be drunk as a skunk, and but we'd be setting

1130. under that tree, and it was a whole Bible study

1131. under that tree. And I don't know that any of

1132. us knew much of what we were talking about when

1133. we were drunking. Jesus was the topic of the conversation. And again,

1134. I can tell you this now, the majority of us

1135. are saved. We're in church now, So don't tell me

1136. what the Word of God won't do sharpen than any

1137. two edge of sword cut even to the son of

1138. the sinners. So not just for the the saints setting

1139. in the church, house. Keep reading this Bible if you

1140. want to setting under the tree drunk. And I'm telling

1141. telling you, but we would sit there and read this

1142. Bible and I received everything from everybody that gave me

  1143. something because I didn't know.

1144. And so I see where I am today. And I

  1145. say that because.

1146. Again I realized that with carnality, we wasn't sitting there

1147. and we wasn't playing. We were serious in what we

1148. were saying, especially the ones that new She talked Sunday School.

1149. Chip did some prison ministry. I'm guessing you know how

1150. when people go to prison and.

1151. They do they study their word. When we first got saved,

1152. was the Bible study teacher at the house. I'm just

1153. being honest. We didn't go to church for a year

1154. and a half. Our first year of church was setting

1155. at our kitchen table, and we made to Niko and

1156. Pat set at the kitchen table with us, and we

1157. would go around the table and we all did picked

1158. the Bible verse, pick Bible verse, somebody gonna eat and

1159. we're gonna all explain it when we come back the

1160. next time. So I'm just telling you what the Word

1161. of God did, and even though we wasn't we might

1162. not always got it right. We picked them out, so

1163. but we picked them out. But but again I'm saying

1164. that to say this, because the cornal mind wouldn't even

1165. pull out a Bible. The cornal mine gonna sit there

1166. and tell you what they think and what they believe.

1167. I think this is what the words say. I think

1168. this is what it means. You know them people that

1169. that ain't even picked up one yet, And I think

1170. this is what God is doing. Now, we took the

1171. we had, we had the Bible, and that's why I said,

1172. this is the living word.

  1173. This word is power.

1174. For what comes out of here is so powerful that

1175. it saves drunken sinners. Then it'll soap up somebody. Then

1176. it'll take the drug man and stop him from dealing drugs.

  1177. I believe that.

1178. Then it'll bring the prostitute off the ConA hallelujah.

1179. So what I'm saying is when we.

1180. Get the realization of how powerful this word is, witness

1181. witnessing becomes easy because I'm not out there telling people

  1182. what I think.

1183. I'm telling people what that said the Lord.

1184. Even if it's just that God said he loves you,

1185. that God said he called you out of his darkness

1186. into his marveulous light. That Jesus died for you. He

1187. didn't just die for me, he died for us.

1188. All. Yeah, it don't. It don't a whole lot.

1189. Some people think you got to preach a whole sermon.

1190. So you ain't got to preach a whole sermon.

  1191. Yeah.

1192. All you just gotta do is give them a couple

1193. of words, living words out of here, and it'll change

  1194. somebody's whole life.

  1195. And so that's why I'm.

1196. Saying that, because we don't have to give them what

1197. we think they need. We have to give them what

1198. God says. And God just want them to have the

1199. Word because it's the word that changes them. It's the

1200. word that illuminates and brings somebody out of darkness into

  1201. his marvelous life.

1202. So as we continue to allow the Word.

1203. To get into us, then what we do is allow

1204. the Word to come out of us, and then we

1205. give that to somebody else. Stop giving people what we think,

1206. stop giving people how we feel, Just give people Jesus.

1207. Just give people the Word. Amen.

1208. And so again, as our close today, it says, let

1209. us be sure to allow the Word of God to

1210. dwell richly in our hearts. And as it dwells richly

1211. in our hearts, then we allow it to illuminate through

  1212. our lives.

  1213. Amen. Amen,
