  24. As we go before the Lord, if I can get

  25. you to stand, hallelujah, We're gonna go ahead and get

  26. straight into the word. I'll be coming from Romans twelve,

  27. Hallelujah Versus one and two. Thank you, Lord, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  28. Glory to God, Glory to God. I am a student,

  29. and I'm telling you I have been blessed to be

  30. a student. Yes, I'm loving this.

  31. I'm telling you.

  32. I for sure, I'm not complaining, and I'm learning.

  33. And U doroing my homework.

  34. On last night, I've been heaving thank God for the

  35. ministers who have been helping this past now. And I

  36. was preparing my own homework to turn in, and I said, well,

  37. I could go with my scripture.

  38. And then I was telling them, I.

  39. Say, but I don't think I'm gonna do that when

  40. I'm gonna think I'm gonna stick with what the Lord

  41. had already given me. But I was trying to do

  42. that homework with this homework, and we're working on sermon

  43. preparations right now.

  44. You guys.

  45. And I'm telling you my professor over here about the

  46. best professor I'd ever had.

  47. But I said, y'all, he went.

  48. To trying to explain to me I could get three

  49. sermons out of mind, and I'm trying to get one sermon.

  50. Out of this. I said, boy, he tough there.

  51. And so one of my classmates wanted to have us

  52. sit down with him again, and not just now, y'all,

  53. don't and have u sit down with him by y'allself.

  54. I'm just gonna look at my message for tomorrow. Yeah,

  55. I'll let y'all do that by yourself.

  56. There.

  57. Yeah, that's it.

  58. That's she's gonna have to sit down with the professor

  59. by herself.

  60. Right now. We're gonna we're gonna stand up with him

  61. and read this, uh, this passage right here.

  62. So we'll again be coming from Romans twelve versus one

  63. and two. And this is our good old friend Paul here.

  64. And Paul says, I beseech you, therefore, m hm brethren,

  65. by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies

  66. a living sacrifice holy inacceptable unto God, which is your

  67. reasonable service, and be not conformed to this world.

  68. But be ye transformed by the.

  69. Renewing of your minds, that ye may prove what is

  70. that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. May

  71. God at a blessing to the reading, hearing and understanding

  72. of His word, and you may be seated in the

  73. presence of the Holy Spirit.

  74. A man, Holly, Loujah, Jesus.

  75. God is good, and he is good all the time,

  76. and all the time, God is good. So I am

  77. gonna work this the best that God has given me

  78. to do, with the power of His Holy Spirit.

  79. Invested in me A man. Amen. So the theme.

  80. Of my message is call to be living sacrifices.

  81. And the Lord had dealt.

  82. With me on this when we was getting ready to

  83. do our fast, because sometimes, and I won't say sometimes,

  84. I say quite a bit of the times.

  85. I've been doing this.

  86. Fast for some years. Every January we get into the

  87. Daniel Fast, and I think this has been I don't

  88. know how long it's been going on, but I know

  89. quite a bit of churches do it all over the world.

  90. Come January they do the Daniel Fast. And it was

  91. just brought to my attention, how often do we do

  92. the fast and then after the fast we go back

  93. to the same thing, and this should be a sacrificial fast,

  94. and I don't know if fast it's taking place where

  95. there shouldn't be a change afterwards, not just with the

  96. Daniels fast, but any fast.

  97. Why are we fasting?

  98. We should never do anything without expecting a change, even

  99. when we continue to do something over and over again.

  100. And nothing changes.

  101. But we continue to do the same thing over and

  102. over again for a change and nothing changes, It's called insanity.

  103. Why are we doing it if we're not expecting the change.

  104. I went through this cycle of trying to lose weight

  105. for a long time, and I would go on different diets,

  106. different rituals of.

  107. I'm not going to eat this.

  108. I think I've did the keyto and I've did some

  109. other different things. I've even worked that out real, real

  110. hard and lost the weight and then gained it back,

  111. and then I would do the same thing again and

  112. then gain it back. And so it's kind of like

  113. a repetitious thing of doing something to get the change,

  114. but then you don't keep up with the change. And

  115. so in talking with the Lord, I come to Romans

  116. twelve because Powell is.

  117. Getting to the.

  118. Church here in verse twelve, but they've already been through

  119. chapter one and eleven, and so they've gotten to But

  120. this therefore tells us that something happened before here, and

  121. it was the whole chapter one through eleven.

  122. So Paul is explaining that God has done.

  123. All of this grace and these gifts of salvation. He

  124. has given them all of this, all of these mercies,

  125. all of this stuff has come with this a whole

  126. eleven chapters.

  127. And now there's something that you have to do.

  128. And so after this fast, after not just my fast,

  129. but somebody else is fast, after something that we've been through,

  130. after something maybe somebody else has been working on. God

  131. wants us to take into account whatever it is that

  132. we have been through. After this new year we just

  133. went through twenty twenty five, we just crossed over. Even

  134. when I was studying the word therefore, it said therefore

  135. it could be used.

  136. As a shift.

  137. So after we've shifted, something should be done different. A

  138. shift means there's a change, and once there's a change,

  139. we should not go back. Something has to change. So

  140. now that we've shifted from twenty twenty five to twenty

  141. twenty six, after we shift from this Daniel fast, if

  142. you've shifted from one position to another position. If something

  143. has been going on and you said, okay, Lord, I'm

  144. not gonna do this anymore.

  145. I'm finished.

  146. Shift, there has to be a change, something has to

  147. be different. Paul is going to help us on today.

  148. We've been called to be living sacrifices a man, and

  149. anything that we do we need the help of God.

  150. So we're Christians.

  151. So I'm talking to saints of God on today a man.

  152. And if you're not a saint of God. Once we

  153. get finished, just jump a home the train.

  154. Amen. Amen. Okay.

  155. So from Romans chapter one to eleven, Paul explains that

  156. God has done for us, and what He's done for

  157. us and our seeing God's grace Christ is sacrifice.

  158. We have the gift of salvation.

  159. By the time we reached chapter twelve again Paul has

  160. shifts us like he has shifted us from again. Everything

  161. that we have been through in our lives there has

  162. taken a shift. Anything that you've tried to change from.

  163. Let that be your shift on this from this day forward,

  164. even yesterday, God has just blessed us to cross over

  165. from Saturday to Sunday. That's a shift because we're here.

  166. Some people didn't get the shift that's called grace and mercy. Yeah,

  167. we were blessed to see another day. So it might

  168. have been some stuff on yesterday. That's part of my

  169. prayer in the morning. I was blessed to see this day.

  170. It's some stuff on yesterday that I may have did

  171. that I can't go back and change. Thank you Lord,

  172. that I mean, this day helped me to do better

  173. on today.

  174. Can't none of.

  175. Us go back and fix what we messed up on yesterday? Yeah,

  176. we can't go back and change nothing in it. So

  177. let's do better on today. That's a shift. So all

  178. of that therefore has changed it. Therefore yesterday is gone.

  179. So because of all of that today, we're going to

  180. be motivated on today.

  181. Because what Paul says is.

  182. I beseech you, beseech you, is he's bringing forth mercies

  183. of God. Paul doesn't command them, but he beseeches them,

  184. meaning that he's appealing to them. He's not fussing, he's

  185. not fighting, he's not hollering, he's not screaming. Paul believes

  186. that on the basis of God's mercies, everything that we

  187. do for God comes from what God has already done

  188. for us. So God has blessed us to get into

  189. this day. So everything do we do from this day forward,

  190. let's do because God has already blessed us to get

  191. into this day. So with that being said, everything that

  192. God has already done, let.

  193. Us take into account.

  194. Because we are Christians and we are not living in

  195. fear of God, not the type of fear that somebody

  196. else might have that this is this evil God that

  197. he is against us. We live in fear of God

  198. by reverence and God, by respecting who God is, what God.

  199. Has done, and what.

  200. God continuously does for us. So we're we don't feel

  201. like we're obligated.

  202. To do anything. What we do we.

  203. Do out of gratitude, out of love, gratitude and respect

  204. for what God has already done for us. So when

  205. Power talks about given, when Paul talks about us having

  206. mercies for of God, the mercies of God, that we

  207. present our bodies to God as a living fact sacrifice,

  208. he's saying, do that because of what God has already

  209. done for us. And when he talks about us being

  210. living sacrifices unto God, then that means given ourselves unto God.

  211. That's what we've been called to do. And if we

  212. recognize that God has done so much for us, and

  213. we give ourselves back unto God, then we expect that

  214. God's gonna take care of us. It's not as if

  215. we're giving ourselves unto God and God's gonna misuse us.

  216. So God's gonna mistreat us, or God's gonna lead us

  217. in a way that's gonna be detrimental to us. But no,

  218. we know if we're in God's hands, that God is

  219. gonna take care of us. Even as deeds started out

  220. with the thanksgiving unto God, why.

  221. Not thank him?

  222. Everything that we have is because of God that we breathe,

  223. the roofs over our head, the clothes on our back,

  224. the shoes on our feet. I was in here praying

  225. this morning, and that's how I started my prayer. Nobody

  226. was in here with me, so deed, you don't even

  227. know that. And as I was walking around praying, I

  228. was thinking, well, I keep thanking God for my house,

  229. my clothes, my shoes. What about the person that don't

  230. have no clothes? What about the person that don't have

  231. no shoes? What about the person that don't have no

  232. roof over their head? But even as I was saying

  233. that that's love. But you know what the Lord told me,

  234. there's somebody that might not have no shoes, he said,

  235. But what about the person that don't have no feet

  236. to even put in shoes, but they still thinking me.

  237. It's somebody that ain't even thinking me, he say. But

  238. it's somebody that don't even have a foot to put

  239. in a pair of shoes, but they still lifting their

  240. hands up and saying thank you. So it's okay to

  241. thank me for the roof that you got over your head,

  242. he say. But it's somebody that don't even have a

  243. roof and they thanking me for their roof. So don't

  244. ever feel guilty because you have and somebody else, don't,

  245. he say, Because it's somebody out the don't and they

  246. still thinking me. See, we might not think that, but

  247. it's people in countries that don't even have tents and

  248. they still thinking in praising God. It's people that live

  249. in fourth world countries and they yet still praising God

  250. for what God has done, and they don't have half

  251. of what we have. We feel like we have to

  252. have something material to praise God. And it's some people

  253. that just blessed because they got life, because they got

  254. error because they can see the sky. And so the

  255. Lord wanted me to know on this morning, you ain't

  256. the only one praising me.

  257. You ain't the only one saying thank you.

  258. It's somebody that don't even have all they body parts

  259. and they yet saying thank you. That's why he say,

  260. if you don't praise me the rocks or cry out

  261. when the wind blow, it's praising me. So it's good

  262. that we say thank you.

  263. Hallelujah.

  264. But we can't ever think that we're the only people

  265. that's blessing and praising and thanking God hallelujah.

  266. We were created to praise.

  267. God, but we weren't the only things or people created

  268. to praise God. That's somebody that's just grateful to be

  269. here that will praise God. So again, we don't do

  270. it because we're obligated. And Power wanted the people of

  271. God to know that it don't be a living sacrifice

  272. because you're obligated to be a living sacrifice because of

  273. what God has already done for you, hallelujah.

  274. And what God.

  275. Did for them, He didn't just do it for them,

  276. because God is not a respective person. God did it

  277. for us, all amen, And so he had already salvation

  278. is even made to all God that already his grace

  279. had already been extended for Aur. So it wasn't just

  280. literally given to a certain amount of people. And then

  281. I thought about, well, Lord, how many of us has

  282. God delivered from something, from one thing or another. I

  283. was delivered from alcohol, from fornication. I ain't never did drugs,

  284. but how many been delivered from drugs?

  285. I don't even know how hard it is to get out.

  286. For drugs, but I done seen some people that's still

  287. on drugs walking around outside of they mind, outside of

  288. they self. And then when I look at somebody who

  289. used to do drugs but don't do drugs, no.

  290. More nobody but God. Yeah.

  291. So I'm just saying not because you obligated, but because

  292. of what He done for you. Because if you got off,

  293. I know it wasn't nobody but the help of God.

  294. I don't care what twelve steps say. It took some

  295. God to help out with that. You go to twelve

  296. step classes that you want to. I don't seen people

  297. go in rehabs and come out of rehab and still

  298. do the same thing.

  299. Yeah, So that ain't nobody but God. So Paul say,

  300. not because.

  301. Of just you feel like you obligated, you got this

  302. special type.

  303. Of fear for God. But because of what.

  304. God has done for you, we recognize what God has

  305. done for.

  306. Us, hallelujah.

  307. So because we see what God has done for us,

  308. then we recognize that we can't help but be a

  309. living sacrifice to him, hallelujah.

  310. Whatever he brought us out of us.

  311. I mean, if it wasn't nothing, but he was your

  312. doctor in the hospital room. I have just seen people

  313. get saved because the doctor told them that they were

  314. gonna die. They didn't have no more time, They was

  315. on their last leg. But God raised them up out

  316. their death bed.

  317. Hallelujah. This is it for you. It ain't no more.

  318. And then they still here.

  319. Now he might not have did that for everybody, but

  320. the one that he done it for the wasn't saved,

  321. showed himself God to them, and then when they come

  322. up off their death bed, now they're serving him. Yeah,

  323. his grace and his mercy. So Paul say, you can't

  324. help but be a sacrifice because of His grace and

  325. his mercy. So then we find ourselves being called to

  326. a total commitment that she be a ye be present

  327. your bodies a living sacrifice. Power cause us to present

  328. ourselves to God. And this is to be deliberate and

  329. as a personal act.

  330. Deliberately.

  331. You don't do it again because you're being forced to

  332. do it.

  333. You deliberately do it.

  334. So that means I wake up in the morning deliberately

  335. presenting myself to God.

  336. Hallylujah, liked you. Just at five o'clock in the morning.

  337. It three o'clock in the morning. I just get up

  338. and I'm praising God. I just get up and here

  339. I am Lord, have your way in me. Whatever it is,

  340. we're gonna do it three and it deliberately, not having

  341. to be forced. Not that I have to wait till

  342. Sunday to get to church and somebody have to pump.

  343. And prime me.

  344. No Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, whatever day or the week.

  345. It is. Here, I am Lord. I belong to you.

  346. I don't belong to me. Do whatever it is you're

  347. gonna do with me. It's it's a willingness. We say.

  348. You hear a lot of people say. I won't say

  349. we say because everybody don't say it. Do whatever your

  350. will live is, Lord, have your will, have your way

  351. in me, and then that's not it.

  352. Because as soon as it's time for you to do something,

  353. or as soon as the Lord asks you to do something,

  354. then it's completely different. The Bible says, grieve not the

  355. Holy Spirit. But as soon as he started waking you

  356. up at three, you know, yeah, I don't know if

  357. I want to get up right now, but that's about

  358. the time he'll wake you up when you're good asleep

  359. to see if you're gonna get up. I know, I

  360. know for me many of times he'd have done it,

  361. or not only that, waiting til you're doing something that

  362. you want to do, and that's when he wants you

  363. to pray.

  364. That's when he wants you to read.

  365. We was me and the minister well because they all

  366. prayer warriors too, So we have like a little clique

  367. if we don't want to call it a clique, but

  368. we always talking the little.

  369. Group, yeah, because it's sure ain't a clique, but we

  370. we yeah, yeah take that now, but we always talking.

  371. And we was saying something in reference to reading the Bible, y'all,

  372. and I don't when I'm sleepy. Some one of them said,

  373. read the Bible, and I said, no, I refuse to

  374. read the Bible to go to sleep.

  375. I will not do God like that.

  376. Well, if you're sleepy, though, Pastor Jay, read the Bible,

  377. it'll help you get to sleep, and I will not.

  378. I will not. I say, I would rather play the game.

  379. I was having trouble going to sleep, but the normally

  380. little candy coursed game will put me to sleep.

  381. First lady wasn't putting me to sleep.

  382. And I said, I don't know what I'm gonna do,

  383. and they was like, well, read the Bible. I just

  384. can't do God like that. I'm not gonna read the Bible.

  385. And I was sitting in there the other day, me

  386. and baby Sonaia bless a little heart, because I was

  387. sitting there trying to read the Bible and I was

  388. going to sleep. It was daytime and I was all

  389. trying to read it too, and poor little sonari y'all

  390. come up like this.

  391. And that baby was looking at me like what is

  392. wrong with her?

  393. And I said, Lord, I said, I wasn't gonna do it,

  394. but I wasn't trying to go to sleep, and so

  395. it was just, hey, we it's the times when when

  396. we're trying to do our best. And again I said,

  397. I wasn't gonna read it to go to sleep, and

  398. I wasn't. So it's the again to make that sacrifice

  399. to spend that time with the Lord.

  400. And I was trying to do that.

  401. And I just believe that the Lord been trying to

  402. get me to spend more time with him and the Word,

  403. but it just wasn't working then, So me and the

  404. Lord gonna have to do that a different way.

  405. We're gonna have to give me some headsets.

  406. Or something like that, but we have to make that time,

  407. that sacrifice to spend that time with the Lord.

  408. And so what that means, if he wake you up

  409. at three, get up at three. If you're nudging that

  410. you at midnight, get up in midnight.

  411. And that's probably why the minds has been so off waking,

  412. because boy, he been keeping me up till like twelve

  413. thirty one o'clock. And I guess look Minister over there

  414. to me too, because she's been texting me at like

  415. one o'clock in the morning.

  416. So I guess he got the awe burning it on

  417. all of us. You two, uh huh.

  418. Look, I'm just snitching on all of us while I'm

  419. up here. But I'm just saying, So, that's our sacrifice

  420. to the Lord, and it should be deliberately.

  421. It should not be.

  422. Because the Lord is forcing us, and so as we

  423. are those deliberate sacrifices, and it's a personal act. It's

  424. not like we're in the Old Testament. It's not like

  425. we're dead. Seeing the Old Testament, they had to kill

  426. the animal and then lay the animal on the altar.

  427. We're not the dead animals in the Old Testament. We're lively.

  428. And so because we're lively, then we choose daily to surrender,

  429. daily to surrender. Yeah, should nobody have to knock us

  430. over and lay us down and put us on the altar.

  431. That's what they had to do back then when it

  432. was the animals. Yeah, we shouldn't have to be done

  433. like that. That should never be a thought in our mind.

  434. In order to be a sacrifice unto God, we should

  435. daily have a mind to surrender ourselves unto the Lord. Here,

  436. I am God doing me what you see fit, whatever

  437. it is that you would have me to do. And

  438. when we start doing that, then God is able to

  439. use us even the more.

  440. I know. One of the things that we've been talking about,

  441. even with our classes and the books that we've been reading.

  442. How can God use us if flesh is all in

  443. the way. How many of us get up daily and say, Lord,

  444. help me to crucify this flesh because flesh wants to

  445. do what flesh wants to do. Flesh don't want to

  446. have nothing to do with what God wants to do.

  447. The Bible says, they're always at war with one another.

  448. So that means anything that I want to do is

  449. outside of what God wants to do. When it's the flesh,

  450. because God can be saying, hey, I need you to

  451. go over there, and maybe I need.

  452. To pay for this woman's groceries.

  453. And as soon as the Lord says pay for her groceries,

  454. then flesh starts saying, you know you ain't got no money.

  455. You know you struggling yourself. Why you gonna pay for

  456. her groceries? You can barely pay for yours. In the

  457. whole time that the Lord is telling you to bless

  458. somebody else, because he's trying to see if you gonna

  459. bless her so that he can open up a doorway

  460. to bless you. Flesh trying to keep you from getting blessed.

  461. So we have to even be careful with that. But

  462. if you wake up in the morning and you done

  463. already surrendered yourself unto God, and you done.

  464. Told Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, you raise up in me.

  465. Flesh, you sit down. I'm putting you under subjection on today.

  466. You don't tell me what to do. I tell you

  467. what to do. Then when you get to that grocery

  468. store and the Spirit say, bless this woman, you pay

  469. for her groceries, even if you ain't got enough money

  470. to pay for your groceries.

  471. When you get.

  472. Through paying for hers, and then you pay what you

  473. have for yours, you be the walked out that store,

  474. and man.

  475. Will pour into your bosom like the Word.

  476. Said, because that's what he's said, give and it shall

  477. be giving back onto you press down, shaking together and

  478. running over. Shall men pour into your bosom. See, you

  479. don't never know what's gonna happen. But we at a

  480. time whether Lord is trying to shift, and we can't

  481. shift if we hadn't been transformed, if we hadn't been

  482. that living sacrifice. But we got this enemy just trying

  483. to keep us from getting to where God is trying.

  484. To get us to. So we didn't just shift into

  485. a new year.

  486. I believe we're shifting into God doing a new thing

  487. in our life.

  488. I believe that.

  489. And so so power is coming to help us out today.

  490. He wants us to know that we've been to sacrifice.

  491. This is gonna be the year where we sacrifice. And

  492. as we sacrifice, then God will be able to do

  493. what he needs to do in us, or what he

  494. wants to do in us. It's just gonna call us,

  495. caw us to sacrifice, and in doing that, then he'll

  496. be able to get to us what he needs to

  497. get to us. Again, our bodies are to be presented

  498. as whole.

  499. And as we present our bodies as whole, our whole.

  500. Selves, our actions, our thoughts, our conduct, everything about us,

  501. give it all to him, give.

  502. It, give everything to him.

  503. First Corinthians six nineteen and twenty says that our bodies

  504. are the temples of the Holy Spirit, bout and paid

  505. for the price. They don't even belong to us, and

  506. many of us don't even want to let go of them.

  507. They're not yours, this is not mine, that's not yours.

  508. He bought and paid for it.

  509. You no longer belong to you, but we keep holding

  510. on to us and as long as we hold on

  511. to us and don't let us go, he can't do

  512. anything with us because our God is not a force.

  513. For God, he does not force himself upon anybody.

  514. He's not gonna snatch you from you.

  515. Remember, it's not like the old We're not in the

  516. Old Testament anymore. He don't want to take you and

  517. throw you up on the altar. He wants you to

  518. present yourself to the altar.

  519. Yeah, I'm that would just be I don't even have

  520. a that's the thought is horrible, But who would want that?

  521. It's so much better when you present yourself again, we're

  522. reminded of what He has done for us. You should

  523. want to present yourself to the altar. And so, because

  524. we've been bought for and paid for with a price,

  525. therefore we honor God back with his bodies with.

  526. What he paid for. Yeah, we don't go to the

  527. store and buy stuff and then yeah and take it

  528. back to the store. It's mine.

  529. I bought it, I paid for And how are you

  530. gonna come back to me and take what I.

  531. Am paid for? I wish the store we.

  532. Would come back to my house and try to get

  533. that funniture I pay for that that's mine.

  534. I'm sitting on it.

  535. Yeah, you can't come back and get something I paid for.

  536. John fourteen and fifteen says that if you love the Lord,

  537. then you will obeyon we'll keep his commands. Yeah, that's

  538. our way of showing that we love him. Yeah, so

  539. we keep his commands. And because we do that, then

  540. that's that's our way of obedience and surrenderings. We also

  541. have a nurture, and the nurture is true worship Dedrew

  542. wholly inacceptable unto God, which is our reason service. True

  543. worship is not just in song, in praise or in church.

  544. It's also and how we live. Your life set apart

  545. for God, and your lifestyle is.

  546. A worship unto God. How are we living?

  547. Is our life exemplifying true worship to God? The way

  548. we walk, the way we talk. Again, I was talking

  549. to one of the sisters on the day. I'm gonna

  550. find me some.

  551. More friends, y'all.

  552. No offense against y'all, but I'm gonna find me some

  553. more friends. I tell them all the time, I don't

  554. have no friends, But the Lord keep telling me, if

  555. you want friends.

  556. Show yourself friendly.

  557. I say, I have to get outside my house. Though

  558. I work in the house on there sending it five

  559. percent of the time. So I got to find some

  560. friends that are older than two is what I have

  561. to do.

  562. But I was older than too.

  563. Yeah, I run a daycare, so I don't have no

  564. old friends. But I was telling were talking about the

  565. how they were on Facebook going back and forth about

  566. the preacher with the wife and the dress. And I say,

  567. it sad that that's been the topic for the church.

  568. I say, there's so much going on. You think that

  569. the church would like get past that that was yesterday.

  570. Yesterday's gone. Let's find something different to talk about. How

  571. about saving some souls, opening up some orphanages, or or

  572. something else. I mean, I'm just saying, let's let's find

  573. something different. The dress was last week, and I say,

  574. they keep fighting about the dress, and it's social media.

  575. It's then even so past social media.

  576. It's been on TV a.

  577. Couple of the daytime talk shows about what this pastor's

  578. wife wore. And I said in my scripture for my

  579. study is First Corinthians, chapter one, and their Poul says

  580. they're fighting about who was the best preacher and.

  581. Who was the best leader.

  582. And I say, in the churches today are fighting about

  583. what dress she wore and what dress she shouldn't have worn.

  584. She's a first lady and she shouldn't have did that.

  585. And Paul say, that's too much division. And I say,

  586. it's too much division in the world too, is what

  587. I was telling one.

  588. Of the sisters. I say, it's too much division.

  589. Find something different to talk about. We got souls, people

  590. that are dying and going to Hell. We got a

  591. whole Islamic culture growing right here in the United States.

  592. We got mosses going up all over the United States.

  593. Texas has them. They're trying to bring the Sharia law in.

  594. Can y'all not find something different to talk about. We

  595. need to be praying and fast and until we can't

  596. praying fast anymore, and y'all are worried about address that

  597. the pastor's wife had, come on, let's do something different.

  598. So when I thought about the nature of worship, I say,

  599. right now, it looks like we're not worshiping quite well

  600. because the saints have so much going on, not all

  601. of us.

  602. Thank God for the ones of us.

  603. That are praying and that are walking upright and that

  604. are list and holy. But when the eyes of the

  605. world are looking at the church depending on what they see.

  606. We don't look quite well, we look a little sick.

  607. So we need to remember that our lifestyle is a

  608. type of worship unto God, and our lifestyle reflects what

  609. God looks like from the outside looking in. And I

  610. say so, we need to remember that how we live,

  611. not how we sing, not how we praise, but how

  612. we live is also worship unto God. So it's important

  613. what we do, how we do it, and the way

  614. that we do it. And so with that worship, Paul

  615. is saying that worship needs to be done unto God,

  616. and it needs to be done in a particular way.

  617. So be careful about how we worship. Again, when we worship,

  618. we must worship.

  619. In spirit and in truth.

  620. And that's how God has called us to worship. If

  621. that's acceptable, Worship unto God. Not just the singing and

  622. the praising, because anybody can sing. There is a whole

  623. bunch of secular people out there that are singing praise

  624. and worship music. But yeah, we need to make sure

  625. that we carry ourselves as Christians. We need to make

  626. sure that we're representing our God and worshiping him in

  627. a way to where God understands that the worship is

  628. to Him, and that worship is a mercy and a surrenderance,

  629. and that we're becoming that God can become sensible in

  630. respond to our worship, because as God responds to our worship,

  631. then that gives God an opportunity to continue to lay

  632. forth mercy unto the saints of God.

  633. Amen.

  634. So we as saints of God, want to make sure

  635. this house and all that hear me over Facebook, that

  636. we walk upright and honorable unto God with our worship.

  637. Hallelujah is not just a battle song. It's not about

  638. lifting our hands up, but it's about making sure that

  639. we live right. We don't get caught up and what

  640. everybody else is doing if it's not worshiping and it's

  641. not honoring God. Again, if you can pray for somebody,

  642. you don't have to be a part of the talk.

  643. We don't have to comment on everything that everybody does.

  644. And so they took that one comment and they just

  645. took it. I'm telling you all across it, it was

  646. so much.

  647. I couldn't believe it.

  648. When it went to TV shows, talk shows, that's too much,

  649. that's too much. We have better things to do for

  650. the church. Again, Christ is soon to come. I said,

  651. how much time was spent on praying for the lost?

  652. How much? How much?

  653. How many times do you see pastors on TV saying

  654. this is what we should I mean on talk shows,

  655. this is what we can do to bring in lost

  656. souls instead of this is what we can do to

  657. fix the.

  658. First lady's dress. Come on, people, Yeah, the church needs

  659. to do better.

  660. I'm quit saying we because we wasn't in that thing. Yeah,

  661. we was probably somewhere praying for some lost and feeding

  662. some hungry.

  663. So again, Power.

  664. Also gives a warning against the worldly conforming, which was

  665. a part of what that was as well.

  666. It says, and be not conformed to this world.

  667. Therefore a lot of pressure from the world for us

  668. is fit in and for us to fit in and

  669. go along and get along. And God has not called

  670. us to go along to get along. God has not

  671. called us to fit in. God has called us to

  672. be different. God calls us a pecure, your people, We

  673. are not supposed to be like the world, Paul says,

  674. be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by

  675. the renewing of your mind, so we might want to

  676. wear some of the same clothes depending on what the

  677. clothes are the world.

  678. We don't need to be showing all of this.

  679. You might want to do some of the same things

  680. depending on what they doing.

  681. Don't do it. You can't do everything.

  682. I'm not saying that we're not here because we're in

  683. this world. We're just not of the world. We don't

  684. do the same thing that they do. We're supposed to

  685. be a light into darkness. Again, like I said, God

  686. calls us peculiar people. We just don't do everything that

  687. the world does. If it's not of God, then we

  688. don't do it. If it's not of truth, we don't

  689. do it. We don't condone everything they do either. If

  690. if we Romans once said that if we condone the sin,

  691. then we we're just like it's just like we're of it,

  692. so we don't. We just don't condone it. We don't

  693. partake in it. And if you don't know what it

  694. is the certain sins, then look them up. I can't

  695. go through them all, but we know that we don't

  696. condone fornication, we don't condone adultry, we don't condone homosexuality,

  697. we don't condone we don't do it. We shouldn't be

  698. doing it. If you're doing it, then you need to say, Lord,

  699. forgive me, help me to change. I'm not gonna call

  700. you and say, hey, you sinning, You're going to hell.

  701. I'm not gonna because I remember when I first got saved,

  702. there was some sin.

  703. I was still doing it.

  704. I didn't know I was even sinning, So I for

  705. sure I'm not gonna beat you up behind it. I'm

  706. gonna say, go to the Lord and you need to pray,

  707. and you need to get it right now. Did I

  708. stop it when I found out about it? Yeah, But

  709. I'm saying I didn't know about it, so you might

  710. be one of those that you don't know about it.

  711. But if it comes to your attention and you find

  712. out that you sinning, okay, hey, back up out of

  713. that one. Lord, you need to help me with this one.

  714. I need to get this right, and I need to

  715. get it right. Standing with you if you were saint.

  716. Because I was newly saved, I didn't know what fornication was.

  717. I didn't know what adult was.

  718. But when I found out what it was, me and

  719. my husband had to stop doing different beds because it's

  720. some kids in here, so he had to sleep one place.

  721. I had to sleep another until we till I got

  722. my divorce because I was still married.

  723. I didn't know. Again, I didn't have that understanding.

  724. And then when I got my divorce and we got married,

  725. we made it right.

  726. Before the Lord.

  727. So I'm saying, maybe somebody don't know, so I'm here

  728. to help you out.

  729. That's a sin. I didn't know it was. And when

  730. I found.

  731. Out and we got it right, then we got that

  732. right before the Lord. So if it's something that you're

  733. doing and you don't know about it, yeah, God, that's

  734. where you can say, God, no my heart. But all

  735. of that, I'm still sinning and God on my heart,

  736. Yeah he do. He know it ain't no good in it.

  737. That's why he gives us new hearts. So if you're

  738. using that as an excuse to sin, stop that, yeah,

  739. because that's not God.

  740. Don't accept that.

  741. Jesus didn't die for our sin so that we could

  742. continue in sin. Yeah, he died for our sin so

  743. that we wouldn't have to sin anymore.

  744. God is August. God will he forgive you for your sin?

  745. Sure, But if you're purposely and continuously sending a sinning

  746. and thinking.

  747. That it's okay with God. It's not.

  748. So we want to always make sure that we're lining

  749. it up with God. That's why Paul says, don't be conformed.

  750. To the world.

  751. Don't literally line yourself up with what the world is

  752. doing and think it's okay with God, because it's not.

  753. He wants you to be transformed and renewed in your mind.

  754. The only way to be transformed and renewed in your

  755. mind is to get the Word in your mind. Know

  756. what God wants you to do. It's the truth about

  757. what God wants you to do. The Word is the

  758. only thing that can change your mind to what.

  759. God wants you to do.

  760. The world can't tell you how God wants you to

  761. live because the world don't know the Word.

  762. The world knows what the world knows.

  763. And that's another testimony. I knew as a drunk what

  764. the Word said. I didn't know what the true word

  765. was until I got saved, so we got You find

  766. some people that know some scriptures, but do they know God.

  767. There's a difference between knowing some scriptures and knowing God,

  768. because God reveals the scriptures to you. If you don't

  769. know God, you're just reading a book. And I know

  770. that from being saved because I done read the book,

  771. but I didn't have an understanding of the book.

  772. God reveals himself to you through the Word.

  773. So when we was talking the word under the tree

  774. as drunkards, we were just we were just talking. And

  775. I say that in all honesty and in our understanding.

  776. Now we were just reading some scriptures or just really talking.

  777. We did not have an understanding. But I know now

  778. that God did not want me to live in a

  779. life of sin.

  780. And it be okay.

  781. Because I was one of those people that used to

  782. say the same thing. God know my heart, and I'm

  783. so glad that he did really know my heart, because

  784. he knew my heart enough to know that I did

  785. not want to die and go to hell.

  786. So some years later he saved me.

  787. He bought me out of that darkness and into his

  788. marvelous life.

  789. He gave me the truth.

  790. So in transformation, when our minds are renewed with God's

  791. word and God's spirit, because you won't get his spirit

  792. until your save with His spirit in our lives.

  793. It changes us and it changes us.

  794. From the inside out. God is not and to make

  795. you beautiful He don't care how pretty your hurry is,

  796. how beautiful your eyes are. God cares about your inside.

  797. That's why he gives you a new heart. And as

  798. you start to change on the inside, then your outward changes.

  799. That's how we're able to look so beautiful on the

  800. outside because He changes our inside. So regardless, I say

  801. all the time, I've seen some of.

  802. The most beautifulst people, especially.

  803. Some beautiful women who could be so ugly because of

  804. their attitude, the way that they talk and the way

  805. that they act, But they are so so beautiful. But

  806. they'll open their mouth, and once they open their mouth,

  807. it changes my whole attitude about the way that they are,

  808. just by the way that they talk. And I thank

  809. God that God wants to change our inside first. And

  810. that's why daily that's another part of my prayer. Lord

  811. created me a clean heart, renewing me a right spirit.

  812. I want to be like God. I wanna love like God,

  813. I wanna talk like God. I want to walk like

  814. God because God is such a loving and kind and

  815. merciful person. See, I want to be so much like

  816. God that when I meet people that I don't know,

  817. and even when I meet people that I do know

  818. that I treat them the way God treats me, because

  819. I remember how ugly I was and how God treated

  820. me even when I was an ugly person, when I

  821. was an unlovable person, and how he loved on such

  822. an unlovable person.

  823. Because you know, we gonna meet.

  824. Unlovable people, but God wants us to love on unlovable people.

  825. He ain't gonna ever send us to somebody that got

  826. it all together, because He want to send us to

  827. people like we were before we got it together.

  828. Amen. So that's how God wants us to be.

  829. And so that's why God wants us to be transformed

  830. and renewed.

  831. If you remember power, before power became power, power with soul,

  832. power was horror.

  833. Saul was a horrible person. Saul was even a murderer.

  834. He was killing Christians. And before Saul got to be

  835. pau who would have wanted to meet Saul? And then

  836. he cleaned him up inside out, cleaned him up inside out.

  837. It's say Paul went on the back side of the desert.

  838. For what three years? Was it thirteen? Took thirteen years

  839. to clean him up?

  840. Because it really didn't. He knocked him off his beast

  841. and when he opened his eyes up. He was changed,

  842. but he still was doing some work on him because

  843. he's sent him back to the same people that he

  844. was killing. So he had to go back to the

  845. same people that he had been murdering for years. And

  846. he started out witnessing and talking to some of them

  847. same people before he went to the gentile. All them

  848. folks were scared of this man. This man had been

  849. rand than those people up like they was cows, putting

  850. them in prison. So some of us need to go

  851. to the backside for a moment too, and make sure

  852. we get ourselves together so that we can go out

  853. there and witness, so that we can go disciple, so

  854. that we don't go out there and hurt nobody, because

  855. like I said, it's a shift, and so we can't

  856. keep faster and then going back the same way. We

  857. can't keep praying and then going back the same way.

  858. We need to make sure.

  859. We right so that God can send us out there

  860. and we bring back something so that God can use us,

  861. so that we can bring back some not with our ugliness,

  862. not with maybe we got an attitude today, not with

  863. on You're not gonna get me to spend my money

  864. on them.

  865. Today, Like I said, maybe send the.

  866. Grocery store wherever it is that she got an attitude,

  867. so I'm gonna have attitude with her.

  868. We can't have attitudes. We can't be getting mad. So

  869. what she looking ugly, we can't look ugly back.

  870. And I'm just being honest because the majority of the

  871. time when we witness the people, they're not going to

  872. be right. You might find somebody don't even want you

  873. talking to them, or they might be going through and

  874. we don't even know that they're going through.

  875. It might just not be day.

  876. Day because you meet people all the time and we

  877. don't know what's going to happen in their life.

  878. But God is calling us. The book is for us.

  879. The book ain't for the world. The book is for us.

  880. So once we.

  881. Get transformed and renewed in our mind, then we'll know

  882. what is the acceptable will of God. The results of

  883. being renewed and having a renewed life is that we

  884. may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect

  885. will of God. A surrendered and transformed life gained spiritual clarity.

  886. God's will becomes recognizable and trustworthy. God's will should be

  887. our will, and through a renewed mind, we can discern

  888. God's perfect plan for fulfillment, which is always good and

  889. pleasing to him. Romans twelve one and two cause us

  890. to respond to the mercies to surrender. Surrender leads to transformation.

  891. Transformation leads to discernment and obedient living. With that being said,

  892. is your living obedient? Are you living obedient and sacrificial?

  893. And what do you need to do or what do

  894. you need to.

  895. Place on the altar today? Because again this is a

  896. word for us the church, and the shift is it's

  897. that as we shift into something new, something different, and

  898. God does whatever it is that needs to be done

  899. in us, because every last one of us will forever

  900. be a work in progress. None of us ever have

  901. it all together. Tyler, you can come give me some keys. Now,

  902. I didn't even say clothing. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But

  903. as we're all the work in progress, none of us

  904. will ever have it all together until.

  905. We were God.

  906. And I know again I always say I can always

  907. tell on me because I know me. I spend more

  908. time with me than I do anybody, Bless my heart.

  909. I'm a work in progress, yes.

  910. And.

  911. Have not, and I'm okay with that, and I thank

  912. God that I'm able to be transparent and I'm able

  913. to be open because I believe that that not only

  914. helps others, but it helps me.

  915. M
