The Book of Ephesians.

I'm sorry, the Book of Ephesians, chapter number five and

verse number twenty one.

Today i'll read this particular verse, but we really would

deal with.

Ephesians five twenty one all the way through Ephesians six

and nine. We'll start at Ephesians five and twenty one,

go through Ephesians six and nine. I do want to

also give honor to these graduates who just completed the

medica's License certificate program to the VIP Leadership Institute.

Come on, y'all can do better than that.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

It's just the beginning. They've already started. They're not late.

They were samuels in the house, already lightened caundles.

Hallelujah.

But thank God that God has given us me and

know how to help and to cultivate and women to

help cultivate gifts within the body of believers to help

us to be better.

So we celebrate them.

They will receive a certificate for that course, but also

they will be in an ordination service for elevation as

ordained ministers. And I'm twenty seven church anniversary which you

clap your hands allyluj jah. See, if y'all really didn't

know I started in my first crop of ministers and pastors,

is that I had about five elders and four ministers

at nine, I lost quite a bit, aymen, I.

Lost six of them.

I lost six out of the first crop. So when

I'm thinking about you guys, I'm thinking about like restoration.

It's finally come being restored into my fate in court.

Don't you know that in my loss of six that

god or day, I didn't do this walking straight.

I ain't got that much sense.

Well, we'll aredained six new ministers in the gospel. You

ought to give guard praise hallelujah. Oh you ought to

do better than that. Come on, be happy for me too,

Be happy for me, Be happy for me, hallelujah. I

didn't know it was gonna be like this, amen, I

didn't no favor be like this.

And then we also wanted to thank Cheryl Gambles.

And Lady Loved Moore and others who put together the balantine.

Then there and dance hallelujah. Or they did a good job.

If God is restoring me, let me say this. I

I don't know what you lost on the journey.

I don't know if it was spiritual, emotionally, physically, or

I don't know what it was. But let me tell

you that restoration is finally come. I wish I had

about I wish I had somebody holleylujah, Amen, hallelujah. Well

let me tell your starts from the head. I said,

it starts from the head, and go down the beard.

This right here may dry up, but when I'm gone,

a vision is still gonna be alive, and missions still

gonna be alive. That we are evangelistic entrepreneur enterprises working

together with God for the loving Gospel of our Lord.

And Savior Jesus Christ, to reach those at a loss.

What else, to equip those that are found, and to

send those that are chosen to fulfill the great commission

to your neighbor. That's me right here, that's me. That's me.

I'm an entrepreneur enterprise. Hallelujah. So we thank God for

all of you that are here. Then we're gonna be

One one verse.

In our reading tonight, I'll go through my assignment to

cover Fijians five twenty one through sixty nine. In this topic,

the Bible says here five twenty one submitting. Submitting doesn't

mean that it's just one time you submit.

The I n G.

Means there is a continuation of doing something over and

over and over again.

So he says, this is not a one time experience.

But there may be different situations that may there may

be different environments, that may be different circumstances. But he says, here,

submitting yourselves, can I help you today?

You don't want God to humble you.

Don't don't don't ever, don't don't ever come to the

altar and ask God to humble you.

No, no, no, tell your neighbor. Don't do that.

Never Canaza needed God to humble him, and he was

a key a babelon, and God humbled him. He send

him out in the wilderness for seven years, and the

Bible the cladity that he had claws like eagle, looked

like a madman. And finally he came to himself and

humbled himself under the mighty hand of God. Because if

you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, he

will want exalt you into season. So he says, submitting yourself,

tell your neighbors, a neighbor, that's my duty.

Say neighbor. You can't do that for me.

You can encourage me, you can inspire me and try

to empower me, but I got to do that.

All bury myself. Ain't nobody gonna do that. Anybody can't

get nobody to do that. Anybody commenced you to do that. Huh.

This is the practical application.

Because he done got done with the theology, we down

to the practical application. This has something to do with

you that you got to put something into even in

the worship. If you don't put nothing in the worse,

you can't get none. Now, I know that, you know

I ain't gonna let no rocks. Let me say that

one more time. I ain't letting no rocks. I got

something to say. I got something to give God praise for.

And guess what, I'm not ashamed about it either. Oh,

I wish I had somebody right there. I ain't ashamed

of the gospel for the power of card unto salvation

to everyone that believe. Tell your neighbor if you be

ashamed of him, he'll be ashamed of you. Now, if

you shame and shy and fearful, you need the Holy Goost.

That would empower you, cause you to lose your mind

and have his mind.

And you can't help but to praise Him, submitting yourselves

to who one to another horizontal. We got the responsibility

to do that and the fear of God. Today, I

would like to talk to you on the message.

Give honor where honor is due. Can I say that again?

Give honor where honor is due?

Why would you say that? Because what you don't honor

you can't trust. Let me say that again. Write that

down you you can write notes on that. What you

don't honor, you don't trust. What you don't honor, you

don't love. What you don't honor, you don't respect. What

you don't honor, you can't learn from. And sometimes we

get in the place where you ought to know or

you used to honor somebody, but you don't honor them

no more because you uncovered them.

Oh I wish I had somebody.

You got weaknesses as well as they got weakness, But

because they have done something foolish, now you.

Don't honor them. Can I get a witness in here? Listen?

Let me just carry my testimony my daddy.

I know my daddy was a crackhead, but I ain't

never criticized my daddy. Let me say that again. I said,

my daddy went to the pin five times. Matter of fact,

my mama raised us all by herself, and even when

he was at home, he didn't work. And my one

mama went to work in the snow and brought us

green beans and corn and snuff.

Come on, somebody, but I don't know.

He didn't meet the requirements of what the world may

have expected.

Can I say this, he was still my daddy? Huh?

I said he was steal my daddy. I didn't have.

I ain't got but one daddy.

It's a problem that you treat somebody else like a daddy,

not your daddy. Now, I do honor that. There else

and fathers that have fathered you, and you definitely honor them.

But don't forget that that's steal your daddy. Can I

say that to you right now? If it had not

been for him and her? Okay, I gotta get out

of here, I said, if it wasn't for him and her,

you are not her seed. She don't carry seeds. She

carried eight. Oh he carried seed. You your daddy is

seed and you.

Got to give him honor. Honor is due. Father.

We thank you some of y'all don't got tired quick.

I'm gonna put you out in the minister's class. Next time,

y'all get my preachers, get thirty minutes.

The Spirit of God is here and re reference you.

We honor you, we glorify you for who you are.

And then God, thank you for what you do. And

not only that, God, but we honor those who labor

among us. We thank you for our special people, our family,

and our friends, even our enemies for what they do.

But thank you for our leadership. Thank you for the

sweet communion of the Holy Go sets in this room,

so God to have your way in this word and

Jesus name, we pray.

Amen, I want you to go at least for seven

people and tell him I give you honor. I gues

give you honor. All right.

Now come on see there, see I'm telling I'm all right.

Tell him again, I give you honor. I give you

a honor.

All right. That's good.

It as important as I cover this entire section of

scripture that we realize that the apostle Paul is dealing with.

Domestic holfairs.

He says in the beginning, he says, submit e one

to another, or submitting yourself one to the other, and

the fear of God. But throughout this text he's dealing

he's dealing with three groups of people.

The first group of people that he's dealing with is marriages.

He deals with marriages, He deals with the husband, and

he deals with the wife in terms of how to

honor him in domestic affairs. He also prescribes not only marriages,

but also parents and their children.

He deals with them in terms of children to obey.

And parents. Don't provoke your children to anger, you know.

And this especially in the teenage years, but it could

happen to the younger years as well, because when young

folks start smelling themselves, then you still try to make

them do something that at one time they were subject

to us and at this time, now that they got

to be.

Submissive to us. Uh huh, we can't necessarily make them

do something.

Not when they're grown, they still your children, and so

now you're not just you know, putting a rod on them,

but you got to coach them along the way. So

he speaks to parents, he speaks to children, and then

he speaks to servants. I thank God for this, because

he's in or he's writing to the Book of Ephesis.

Now understand that the Book of Ephesis is in Asia Minor.

An Asia Minor, it's under the Roman rule. We think

in terms of the Roman rule, this group or this

culture well abusive with their authority.

Can I tell? Can I talk to you?

In other words, it's a male chavinness society. You know,

the kind of society that says, listen, you gonna do it.

I say you're gonna do it, and you're gonna do

it right now. If you don't do it right now,

I'm gonna kill you. I'm gonna put you out, I'm

gonna put you down, I'm gonna put you under. It

was a male chovenness society in about eighty five percent

of that culture or servitu servants in which we call slaves. Now,

what happened here and what has happened, is that folks

have thought that Paul promoted slavery. Now, Paul did not

promote slavery. What he was doing in this text was

that he was trying to reduce the abusive authority, to

change the situation from being a subjects to being submissive.

Can I get a witness? And you all know? We

all know.

And so I had you all to tell each other today.

I said, you know, tell your neighbor. I said, tell

your neighbor. I honor you.

Is that right?

And some of us when we honor, we honored, and

we can do that, right, we can do that. I

honor you, honor you, hey man, I honor you, hey Man,

I honor.

You, man Ilujah.

Well it's not in our testimony. We tell the fire,

we say, get it honor to call and to our Lord,

save you Jesus Christ.

Is that right?

We give honor to our pastors and our leaders and

to all the saints and friends.

And if we're married, don't forget to say something.

Or your husband, because I don't care how good you

preached and how the church flipped upside down. The only

thing he or she remember, and not only her, that's

the mother folks that's listening to, and they ull remind them.

You know, he didn't even acknowledge you in the service.

And so boy, when you go home, you know, you

don't preach well and you got to apologize the whole

out home because you don't forgot brother right, was he

was strong?

He was like I honored my wife back there, and

she gave it like a salute or something back there,

like bam, you know, bam. You know.

So we we do that, but oftentimes when we give honor,

we only give honor because it's just a courtesy call.

Wow ah, it's just something we do out of courtesy,

because you know, that's just the right'.

I ain't gonna listen. It's just the right thing to do.

I honor you. It's courtesy. It is just courtesy. A

another reason we we we give honor.

It's being because listen me, poor pick conductors, etiquette and

stuff like that we do without a protocol, and it's

nothing wrong with courtesy, and there's nothing wrong with protocol.

And oftentime, mother, we we.

Say we give honor, and we do that, and we

give honor to acknowledge others for a being, for their

presence in the service.

Am I right about it? Am I right about it?

Don't forget. Don't forget. Boy, you know you didn't even

see us in this every day. I say you, man,

I forgot.

But honor is more than just courtesy. Honor is more

than just protocol. Honor is more than just acknowledgement. Can

I get a witness which I'll talk to me. I

feel a little Baptist and pentecost of me today, a

Baptis cost of today, Ali lujah, I feel little Baptist

cost in me today.

Honor is different than courtesy.

Honor is different than protocol and acknowledgement because honor is

an inward heart posture.

That gives value to the person that you honor. Oh

I wish I had a witness here.

Some of us say that we love God with our lips,

but our hearts are.

A fall.

From him. Honor is an inward posture. In other words,

it's something that's developed on the inside because there is

a sense of respect and gratitude and favor to the

one that you honor. Oh I wish I had somebody

to give God praise. Hallelujah, I said, I wish I

had somebody to give God praise.

Right there.

Another words, honor is not something we just say with

our lips.

Honorls an action word. You know, just like love.

You can't show love to people you can't see. You

can love them, but you can't show them love.

Ah, come on now. Another word, honor is an outward

action to honor.

God is more than He's with your lips. You out

of honor, guard with your money? Oh, can I get

away of y'a? Don't want to You out to honor,

guard with your time? You out to honor, guard with

your mind. You ought to honor God with your heart.

You on honor God with your praise. Hallelujah. In other words,

you got to do something and let the Lord know. Well,

I'm just gonna sit here. Well, that's not honor.

Because if the president of the United.

States, rather than you hate him or not, I guaranteed

that if he walked up in here, all that attention

and you're gonna stand up. You might not like him,

but you're gonna respect his position. I ain't heard what

I said.

I served in the military in the United States Navy.

I mean if we didn't like white people, So what

if there was an offer, sir, I dare you not

to salute the uniform. Honor is an outward action, our

courtesy and protocol and acknowledgment. It's just something we do

passing through. Oh y'all know what it hallelujah. It's something

that something that we may be obligated to and it's

really designed so that we can keep the peace.

Wow. Courtesy is it's a social it's a social social order.

You don't really mean it, but you said you don't

really respect him, but.

You say it when when you honor somebody the other

person feels.

The honor. The reason they can feel the honor because

they see it.

Oh God, y'all, don't hear me. Come on, somebody, hallelujah,

we honor the pastor not. You don't know if you

ain't no obeying them. I ain't man that poor man. I

ought to give you the slightest look. Tune up, you atta,

just say hallelujah, glory. It ain't gonna about me. It's

about the position that God has put me in for

us for you. Come on, somebody, clap your hand. Let

me see you're gonna do it. Clap your head right there.

Come on, flap your hand, Flap your hand, Flap your hand. Haladja,

cause it's the same for you to be clapping your

hands for another guest.

Preacher. Woo, he prayed, whoa. It ain't never said nothing

like that to your own preacher.

That joke is gonna be here today and gone tomorrow,

and you're gonna give him your biggest offering.

You know, you were putting a dollar or.

Two in the offering in our regular service, But some

kind of way that joker got two hundred out of you.

Come on, somebody, come on, you telling me that you.

Will honor another man's wife, another woman's husband, another pastor,

another friend better than your own. The devil is a liar.

Oh y'all don't like this kind of provent honor Lujah, Yeah.

We do courtesy. You know why we do courtesy?

Because we do courtesy because you like to be polite.

You just a polite thank you.

We do it protocol because we like following rules were

in action.

We like to a new acknowledgement because I see you,

I know who you are. I can't believe we get

in trouble with them.

Three concepts without the real concept of honor, because honor

does not just honor you in public. Oh God, I

wish I had put honor honors you at the krill.

How you gonna get along in church and fuss and

fight like dogs at home? How you gonna get up

here and say that you honor your spouse and honor

your friend or family and your pastor and then you

talk about him like a dirty dog. Oh I wish

I had somebody here. Clap your hands. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Honor

says I will trust here, you says, I will serve you,

and I will protect your dignity. It's an important to

understanding cause honor system in this text found that that's

the foundation of submission. Be submissive one to another. Can

I tell you this that submission is different from subjection? Oh,

you alrite that down. Both of them are important, shot,

Both of them are important because I don't want to

take care. I don't want to take our manhood today.

You know, our masculinity all range. So you know we

ain't gonna be just submissive out you know, we mean

and here.

Like we sent out some kind of control. Both are imputting.

Goshna system includes both subjection and submission, but there's a

difference between the two.

Let me help you hear.

Subjection is often something that you force. Subjection uses fear

in other to intimidate folks to break their will and

make them do.

What you want him to do.

And we done took the scripture out of content because

you know we have told the woman you better do

what I tell you to do, because you know I'm

the head.

You are the head that's the authority.

But if it's under subjection, surely, ah, she betta do

what you tell her to do. But if it's submission,

then she has a will to choose if she wanted

to do it or not.

Somebody give God praise here now.

Subjection is an action taken by the one who is

in authority put upon.

The person who is subject. Yeah.

Subjection often destroys individual and reduces a person.

To a passive objective.

In other words, you do what you gotta do, because now,

even though you've grown, you still be getting put in

a child's place. And why when I go the places,

folk an't just holler at me? Come on now, I

don't care if the restaurant is do do you listen? You?

I don't care if you mind. My wife listened. WHOA,

hold your tongue.

I'm gonna do it, But whoa. You can't make me

do it. If I want to do it, I will.

You understand what I'm talking about. You can't make it,

and I can't make you do it either.

How Uh.

Subjection means the one who's in authority that make you

do what they want you to do. Subjection is important

because God has given us authority over certain things. Oh God,

I wish I had somebody. Ah my God, not over

domestic relationship, but He's given us authority to tell your neighbor.

You got some authority, though, You got some authority to

demand and command some things to be subject to you.

Come on, can I get you there? I say that

as some things that don't be subject to you? Can

I tell you today that demons are subject to our authority. Oh,

y'all ain't saying nothing to me. I saymons a subject

to our authority. We don't run from demons. Demons run

from us. That when Jesus came on the scene, demons

will cry out, how you.

Come to torment us?

See that would I'm trying to tell you two men

touched before our time. Tell your neighbors, a neighbor, you

got a authority to cast out demons. You got authority

to lay your hands on the sick and they shall recover.

You have authoritic I wish I had somebody.

I really need somebody that you know that you got

some authorities somewhere. Tell your neighbor, I got authority over

this demonic world, over my own life. The devil can't

have me. The devil can't have my mind, devil can't

have my body, The devil can't have my spirit. Why

because I'm taking the pack Even though the kingdom some

of the finlence I'm taking. I wish I had about

five people and shall take it back. That's why you

gotta take captive of every thought and imaginations exalted helf

above card and bring it into obedience, bring it into subjection.

Tell your neighbor bring it into some jection. Baby, tell

them you got authority over that.

Important.

That card gave us the minion of everything except for

he't no dominion over me.

authority to somebody, shout, I got it.

I've given you.

Authority the tread upon serpents and scorpions, demons. And I'm preaching. Boy,

y'all ain't shouting hallelujah. I'm trying to talk to some

folks that know you got some authorities somewhere. Come on, hallelujah.

When I put my foot down on the devil, that's

what I mean. You better do what I say to

say what I say say, And if I cast you out,

you got to go tell your neighbor. I gottafty ah.

I feel the Holy ghost in the here. I feel

somebody being in power right now. You got some authority.

Hallelujah, hallelujah your name, I got some authority. Hallelujah. Not

only that, but that's governments that we ought to abide by.

Why because the Bible sayings wrong at thirteen and one,

every person be subjection to the government authority.

In other words, if the if the light is red,

if it's green, let me.

Say, if y'all get this one, if it's yellow, be careful,

be careful. Come on, man, be careful, don't go too

far PD be careful, stay right there. Hallelujah, be careful, hallelujah.

Another word, be careful, use precaution. My speed up, speeding out.

the authorities, hallelujah. And prophets, let me tell you this

because you probably ain't learned it. Listen, the spirit is

subject to the prophet. Can I tell you y'all about

Can I say that she asked permission in the spirit?

Things just roll? She said, Can I say that? I

they just can't do everything in your church.

Let me teaching my people about Christmas. Let me do

that Easter. I can do that.

You just come in there and preach the gospel for

you come in here and confusing my folks. If some

folks ain't gonna never let come back in there, come on, somebody, hallelujah.

Because they abuse the poor, pit, abuse the spirit, and

abuse the people. The devil is a lie. Any good

shepherd with no now, baby, you can't come back in here.

Hallelujah under me, hallelujah. The submission on the other end

is voluntary.

Yeah.

Submission is arising from a sense of respect and love.

Submission is an action taking bund the individual recognize and

I recognize your authority and submission foster's growth and teamwork

and gives a person a sense of freedom, a sense

of freedom to choose submission that generally portrayed as a

voluntary arrangement. Another word submission carries a meaning of voluntarily yielding.

That if I'm gonna do it, I did it because

I yield myself to do it. In other words, cause

themselves to sob ordinate oneself to someone with higher authority.

Can I get a witness and.

You don't lose nothing by being submissive to a higher authority?

Can I say that you don't lose nothing? You you

act like you lose because she a woman and you

a man.

Man. When you think you're gonna lose, be submissive one.

Two another with a sense of respect that there are

still so authority in line? Can I get a witness here?

But look an look at here, Look at here. When

we look at the god head, we know that that

God himself three in the trinity. There is God the Father,

there's God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

Cannot get the witness here?

We know that all of them three different entities, but

yet they make one.

And we understand that there's a high archy of authority.

Come on, somebody, I say.

There's a high archy of authority, that somebody is in charge.

Tell your name of somebody is in charge.

But when one is in charge, the other one is

in charge, and the other one is in charge. But

there's still that one direct person that's in charge. And

that's what we called him, God, the Father. He is

the creator, the maker of all mankind. I wish I

had somebody up in here, hallelujah, and that he is

the highest. Tell your neighbor how father, and tell me

he's the highest of authority. And then we have sacond

in the chain of command. God to son, it is

card to son. He did not counted robbery. Now I'm preaching, man,

I don't way I said he didn't counted robbery to

be equal with card. In other words, I'm not gonna

take nothing away and put nothing to it what God

has I have.

In other words, it's a son who kills honor to

the father.

Not only do the son kive honor to the father,

but the father kills out. Oh Card, y'all about to

get it, kills honor, oh to the son. And so

Jesus somebody shall Jesus, yeah, ah, Jesus who said, listen,

you can't find nobody.

You looked in the heavens, and you looked at the earthing.

Under the sea. You can find nobody. He you searched

all over and you can find nobody. He say, Lord,

here am I, Oh the I'm God.

Sitting on the throne.

But if you need somebody, God, come on somebody, hallelujah,

equal in power, because all things were made in Him,

through him and for him.

Come on somebody.

But he humbled himself under the mighty hand of God,

Come on somebody, and submitted himself to the Father.

Can I get a witness?

And even in this testimony he said, the words I speak,

they are not Oh I feel it now, they are

not moan ay.

But what the Father said to me, that is what

I speak.

He say, Yes, the Father loves me, and he shows

me great and mighty things. And what I see my

Father do, that's what I do. If I see him

raising the day I raised the Dad. Come on somebody, hallelujah.

If he calls it a lame the wilder, I called

the man no, a lame to walk.

If he opened and I applying their eyes, yeah, because

he loves me. Come on, somebody, listen, because he loves me.

Or whatever he showed me. But I submit to the

Father and then God. The Holy Ghost did not come

on his own. Matter of fact, he's a promise who

was sinned by the Father through the Son to us.

You know, we got the Holy Ghost.

Come on, halleuh say we got the Holly Go now,

the holy ghosts don't speak on his own. Come on,

he's submissive, Oh God, come on. Now, they all the same.

But that's a chain of command. But yet they are

submissive to one another because they honor God system. Come on, somebody,

I wish I had somebody here. Hallelujah. Tell your neighbor

they honor God's system. Hallelujah. You honor God system today honor?

Are you interested in honoring God in your domestic relationship?

Are you interested in honoring God? And you're a domestic

relationship if he's in three twenty one? Submitting yourselves, continuing

to submit yourselves one to the other in the field

of God. In other words, give honor where honor is due.

Sell your neighbors, a neighbor, give honor where honor is due,

he says. Now, he said, husbands and wives individually love

and respect one another. Huh, you want to give God honor,

love and respect one another. The scriptor says, why submit.

It didn't say be subject? Oh y'all about to get

I come on, somebody say be subject? It say submit,

be willing and commit yourselves. I like this, he said,

unto your own husband. I got offending here that sometime

you must be applied in other folks. You should never

cause your husband to feel jealous or intimidated by another man.

Oh God, I went. I said that, like like Tanna,

like another miny, hallelujah, Glory to God, hallelujah. And that

woman are not feel intimidated at any time by another woman.

I wish I had somebody.

You ought to submit and respect and honor your husband,

she said, as unto the Lord. In other words, the

way to the Father, the son and the Holy Ghost

have relationship with one another. That you are to honor

your relationship. Like caugh the Father caught the son and

call the holy ghost. But he doesn't leave it. Now

he says for the husband, he say, recognize your position.

He says, you are in authority because you are the

head of the wife.
