"Better Together" overserr Moore Phil 1.1-11

Felibicus, chapter number one.

Yeah, beginning at verse number one, and we'll read through

verse number eleven. And the Bible says in paula intended,

it's the servants of Jesus Christ to all the saints

in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi. So he's speaking

to the saints and it's also speaking with the bishops

and the deacons. This ill is an established church. You

got to member that the apostle Paul was wise enough, uh,

for this gentile church and this church that was coming up,

to establish a system, an organization, a structure in which

he called church. And there's different churches. First of all,

churches started in homes, from house to house, they went

breaking bread called fellowship. Okay, they went from house to

house breaking bread, and they had fellowships transformed into a

hub and then to our nice sanctuary in which we

have today. So he began to put order in the

church and to ordained bishops and deacons for the administration

of the church. All right, let me not stay that

too long. Ambisi and deacons are not special gifts. They

are officers for administration. Superintendent came oversee you, that's for administration. Purposes.

I'm first a pastor. Hallelujah, because that's my gift.

He said.

Grace be unto you and peace from God, our Father,

and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God

upon every remembrance of you talking to this Pacific church.

Say this Pacific church, he says, always in every prayer

of mine for you all, making request with joy, he said,

when I'm pray for y'all, I pray for y'all.

I'm happy to pray for y'all. It's some mother churches.

Why for your fellowship in the gospel from the first

day until now, Being confident is everything that he would

be gone had begun a good work, and you will

perform it or complete it unto the day of Jesus Christ.

Even that it is right for me, he says, it's

right for me to think of this of you all,

because I have you in my heart and as much

as both in my bonds. And then the defense and

confirmation of the Gospel. Ye all are partakers of my grace,

for God is my witness. How greatly I long after

you and in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this

I pray that your love may abound yet more and

more knowledge and in judgment, that you may approve things

that are excellent, that she may be sincere and without

offense to the day of Christ, been filled with the

fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ. Until the

glory and praise of God. Somebody shot a man from

because when you look at this book, this book only

has four chapters. In the four chapters, it has about

one hundred and twenty verses. Within the one hundred and

twenty verses, there are sixteen to twenty verses that talks

about joy. It really reflects the attitude of the pastor

towards his church or this particular church. And he says,

I could not do what I have done without your support.

And so I would like to title this message cornanea

what a fellowship. Tell your neighbors and neighbor Cornania, what

a fellowship? Say today you gonna find out what Cornornia is. Oh,

It would touch the hearts and go into the deep

treasures of the heart to produce a harvest like number before.

Shout a man, I write high, five at least seven people,

and tell them, what a fellowship, what a fellowship? Come out,

talk to him real loud, Come on, alright, come out

saying lie, said loud, what a fellowship? What a fellowship?

My brother, Let's break it down. Let's break it down,

You know, I wanted to name this type. I wanted

to really tightle this this this, this discermon ain't no church.

Like the one I got.

have done that. You know I could have done that,

to you know, look beyond our faults and still meet

everyone of our needs. There is not a fellowship in here.

That's not a company. That's not a family in here.

That's not a perfect family. There's no perfect parents, there's

no perfect children, there's no perfect spouse.

When we come together, we come at odds with one

another because we come with our differences, and with our differences,

either we can tear things up or we can build

things up.

Oh boy, which y'all help me here.

It's okay for us to be different because we different anyway.

I'm not trying to be like you, and you don't

have to be like me. I'm equipped a certain way,

you equip a certain way. There's some places in my

life that I'm strong and you're weak, and you're weak

and I'm strong, and vice versa. But there is no

perfect relationships. No matter when people come together, we're gonna

have some problems. And either we can tear each other

down or we can use our differences to build each

other rep I wish I had a witness in here,

so when they make batteries, minister women, I found out

that there's a positive and the negative and it can't

work together unless you have the two together in order

to make a charge. And if you learn how to

work together with your differences, you're gonna learn how to

make a charge. Because you ain't got to pray like

I pray. You ain't got to sing like I sing.

Come on, you ought to just be you. And if

you don't sing, don't sing, clap your hands somebody shot.

Clap your hands and say, hey man, I'm just missing.

What do you like to pray?

Holly? Do ya? So we have these differences again, we

can have these differences. You gotta find a way that

how do my differences? How do our differences support one

another so that we can improve? How can we break

these differences together so that we can be productive in

our relationship Because it's impossible for two to walk together

unless they agree. And there is a term, a term

knowledge that we don't agree. We are to learn how

to disagree and still go with the flow. We got

so many people breaking up and breaking down, and systems

breaking up and breaking down because of the differences.

We're hell long life for him to talk. I don't

like listen. This is what's wrong with the church.

Which one which one of y'all didn Christ? Did we?

Did we die for y'all? He say no, It was

Christ who died, died for you all. So we want

to celebrate our fellowship. Hey man, here a victory and

And if it's not just the fellowship, and we'll get

into deeper details about where the fellowship is, but it's

also can be it's a synonym of communion, communion to

mean to break bread with one another, to have communion

And when we think about these three things, the fellowship,

the communion, and then we think about the partnership, it's

all's involves that when we together, when we together, then

we we participate with one another. It's not right for

the praise seemed to be praising God and those in

the audience is just looking at him and says, if

this is a show.

That even when God blew into Adam, something had to

come back to God.

It's a reciprocal thing that if something is blown in you,

if something is given to you, you ought to be

willing to give back. If God has been good to you,

would you give him praise God had been good to you?

I don't know if we can really give him what

he needs, what he deserved, but we ought to be

able to give him what he acts for.

It shouldn't just be one person doing all of the work.

that were born of a man, did I say that

raise that baby. That is not her baby, that's her

They get away with everything, now huh. But when they

not take responsibility for what their part is in the relationship.

So on First Sunday we do what we call the Eucharists,

which is founding First Corinthians one in nine when we

come together to break bread one with the other. But

as we break bread one another, that's really showing our

fellowship with one another, because we are to wait on

each other before we take it. That's unit till okay,

somebody's our community.

We are to communicating unity.

To make sure we wait for one another because we

getting ready to partake in a fellowship, and our fellowship

is with Christ.

That we keep his death in remembrance.

Everybody, Now, if you're not if you don't have a

deep relationship and you ain't got to have, just remember

this that when you take communion, nobody can judge you.

We just do it with us. God is your judge.

Can I say that one more time? I say, God

is your judge. He know what you did yesterday, you

know what you did this morning, and he know what

you're gonna do tomorrow. So you are to examine yourself,

not compared to me or anybody else. Come on, examine yourself.

See if you start examining yourself, other people that got

examine you. And I said, douya, huh. Listen, I know

I ain't the best at all that, this, that and

the other. I know that I acknowledge that I've examined myself.

I'm definitely not the best singer. But I will sing

out loud, I'll sing in your choir. I'll just start

taking over your song. I'll take over the quash if

the other part I ain't like it right now. I

don't never know all the word, but I sure will

take your poor huh. And I'm not intimidated by people

who are better than me. I'm I need to be

around folks that's better than me so that I can

see something so that I can't grow. If you the

only one that you the best in your group in everything, listen,

they gotta be sucking.

You ought to be exhausted because all everybody got a

call on you to get the answer. Come on, somebody,

if you are to ort to be somebody in the

group that you ought to be able to ask them,

what do you think? Oh? I wish I had a

neighbor right there. Hallelujah, Glory to God. So there's you.

Charrisis communion this also meaning the breaking of bread. I

remember the Old Testament and Acts. Remember Acts two and

forty two that they went from house to house breaking bread.

You know, like we come together right here breaking bread.

We have the Apostles doctrine, and then we shared with

one another. In other words, whatever you need it, I

had it, so I was able to give it. Let's

get back to that church that's quit being so stingy

in church. Well, let's quit being so selfish in church.

Let's become selfless. Let's be able to you know, have

a hand helping, a helping hand to help somebody lift

their hands up. Listen, we're not handing out, no handouts.

We don't want to cripple nobody. Or I'll teach you

something now. We ain't trying to cripple nobody. But we're

trying to give you a hand up. And every now

and again people come to you because they need a

hand up. You know who's coming out for a handout

because you done gave to them the last thirty times.

But the people that showed that showed up, that need

a hand up, you ain't never help them because you

don't exhausted everything you had on the ones who oh, okay,

well shout shout horghly do you shout shayl shout hordly?

Do you? I hardly do you.

I'm gonna help somebody with their hands to be lifted up.

It's also an opportunity for fellowship with one another. And

that's why the bug of Hebrews seeing twenty five said,

do not for sake, tell your neighbors, do not forsake,

quit listen to these people on Facebook, and quit.

Listen to other church people. Church people got it wrong.

They knew, they knew because they ain't never study this

word colonel.

They ain't study cordoneal.

They don't know the details of the deeps of the

Greek word of colonia. They got this American thing that

you just choose and just crisis in your heart. That's

why you ain't getting no better because you got them

in your heart. You're hiding in a cave. Come on, somebody,

definition of ministry, Ministry is the meeting of the people

want to start, you want to start ministry. Ministry is

that finding people where they are in need, and so

So you minister it to that need and involves encurriaging,

inspiring and empowering to leadership, support and ministry. Somebody shout

what a a fellowship? Come on, shout it again, what

a fellowship? Now? You can have all of this stuff

on walk and have it on paper. You can have

it on the books until it's active. It's nothing because

faith without works is dead. Holley, dojah, you can say

what you're gonna do all day, but you need to

do it. Don't don't tell me, don't show me. I'm

Fellowship is any time we come together to share it

with one another, the common goals and purposes in which

God has placed in my life.

In other words, connor Neial is a shared bond for unity,

we do without our partnership. We cannot be successful without

our partnership. You know what partnership does. Partnership is that man,

if two are together, they're stronger than the one.

When we talk about our fellowship, the reason we're strong

because we connected together with the link together. Hallelujah. We're

threaded together. It makes us stronger when we work it together. Hallelujah.

In other words, it discriputs the weight. Woo. I wish

discripules the weight. Everything ain't got to be on me.

And you crazy if you're gonna let it be on you.

You crazy that you got to do everything passing you

crazy if you got to open up the door and

some other gifted people in that church. Why would you

an evangelist, but there's some EVANGELI.

You may not profit us out, but I ain't an

way this weight is my grace. In other words, we've

been graf grace in certain kind of ways that you

do your part. I do my part, and it brings balance.

Anybody need balance in that relationship and might need balance

on their time and their job. Did anybody need balance

and you know, in what we do in real life.

It should should be we should not become to church

twenty four seven, three hundred and sixty five days a week.

Gotta be sometime. You gotta spend some time with your

wife and enjoy life. I don't know about you, but

we ain't listening to the Christian music in the bedroom.

The devil is a lot to talk about you treating

everybody the same, the devil. Come on, The devil is

that's what happened. Because if we think everybody else deserved

to say it, we start.

We don't. We want to start killing for I had

deeper relationship with one another.

Another word to distribut weight. Not only that, it supports

each other in struggles. I had to go back to that,

and I'm sorry I had to flip my paper. I'm

mother shot it to not all right, Listen, it supports

you in struggle. If you with somebody that ain't supporting

you while you struggling, you might not well.

No, I don't even say that. Just know that you

are not in fellowship.

Y'all like they would say, lack each other, y'all lack lack,

y'all lack each other, y'all some things lacking, but in

each other.

If you got somebody who's in room of fellowship with you, listen,

you out of your shoulder that they can lean on.

Oh I wish I had somebody here halleluja teaching this morning, halenluja.

Not all this shit. You be able to lead on God.

You ought to be able to lean on your brother

or your sister. Hallelujah. The barble declared, let the weak

say that I'm strong, but that may come some areas

of your life. You might be weak and don't see

no strength hallelujah. And you need somebody strong in your

life to be a leaning post. Hallelujah. Why don't you

turn to your neighbor real quick and say, nay, I

need you and you need me. Hallelujah. In other words,

this right here creates, Hey, this right here creates. It

creates a safety net. Come on somebody, hallelujah. You don't

look at people when they fall. You don't, Oh boy,

I'm talking to easy. You don't criticize folk when they fall. Hallelujah.

They may have failed in one area, but you are

not called them a failure because if God can change Paul,

come on somebody, hallelujah and knock him off his bees

or hurt bees. Surely, if the light shine on the inside,

come on somebody. The reason I said the light shine

on the inside because nobody else seen the light. Poh card,

see the light.

But it wasn't blind when he's seen it. They ain't

gonna see light when you blind somebody.

We don't judge the people. We don't listen to be

our peek. You don't judge nobody. You don't listen because

they be. And they come to me and tell me

who one of your mother? They blame it on me.

You know why they blame it on me. We're in partnership.

He had like fifty fifty fifty fifty point partnership.

Come on, now, if you ever see a brother down,

sister down, ain't just gonna passing up if you can

help them, help him up. Come on, y'all say we're

gonna repent and be saved. We need to quit doing that.

Come on, let's clear our mind. Come on, will help

Will help us one to another, hallelujah. We'll say, not

only that, we also pursue our purposes together. And so

when we think about this text interesting texts because now

the apostle Paul is writing to the church at Philippi

and he says to them, man, listen, I pray for you,

and you pray for me. He says, listen, I have

you deeply within my heart. He said, I think it's

right for me to think life is for you. And

he says that because of their fellowship. So the first

thing I'd like to just share real quick is that

our fellowship leads us to be thankful unto God for you. Hallelujah.

Our fellowship leads us to be thankful. Somebody shout faithful,

Oh God, yes, yes, just be faithful for whom God

has brought to you. Eat the good, spit out the bat, hallelujah. Again.

Our fellowship leads us to be thankful for for you,

unto God.

For you.

Here's the scripture, verse number three. He says, I thank you.

Look at that.

Come on, somebody, but the last time you told him,

and I thank you, man, come on, listen every now

and again, well, not all the almost all the time.

I didn usually take my wife out to eat. I do,

I do, and and I use my debit card and

and I pay for it. And then after I get

through and I get full of fat, and we just

had a brown, a.

Chocolate trip brown and will greenish. I said, we're gonna.

And the thing about us is that we don't have to.

We can save money actually eating out because we eat

our meals together. So whatever cast fourteen dollars, I said,

your meal, I said, we split them. She said, now

we're fourteen. I said, no, what my meal was seven dollars.

Yours was seven dollars. Come on and I fellowship. But

when I do that, after the meal is paid for,

I tell my wife, thank you. Listen, especially when you

can't pay people. Huh, administry and all of the service

that you guys do here at the service listen. Forgive

me that I haven't said it publicly enough. Oh God, Haley, Nojah.

But every now and again, all the past by and
