  1. One through thirteen. So if you can stand with me as.

  2. I read through these scriptures, Amen, Matthew. Twenty five, verses

  3. one through thirteen. If you need me to hold on,

  4. say hold on. If you got it, say amen?

  5. Amen.

  6. Amen, not Russian, anyone not quite sure? Okay, Amen, We're

  7. not rushing today.

  8. Hallelujah. Patience is a virtue. Amen. Amen. For some of us.

  9. That's hard to do sometimes. But we have to learn

  10. how to be patient.

  11. Amen. We'll learn that from this text. Yeah, we don't

  12. want to always be speedy, speedy, rushy, rushi. We're ready.

  13. Twenty five, verses one through thirteen. Amen.

  14. And the word of the Lord says, then shall the

  15. kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins which took

  16. their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And

  17. five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They

  18. that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil

  19. with them. But the wives took all in their vessels

  20. with their lamps.

  21. While the groom tarried.

  22. They all slumbered and slept, And at midnight there was

  23. a cry maid, behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye out

  24. to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trim

  25. their lamps, and the foolish said, unto the wives, give

  26. us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.

  27. But the wise answered, saying, not so, lest there be

  28. not enough for us and you. But go ye rather

  29. to them that sell, and buy some yourselves. And while

  30. they went to buy, the bridegroom came and they we're ready,

  31. went in with him to the marriage, and the door

  32. was shut. After word came also the other virgin, saying, Lord,

  33. open to us.

  34. But he answered and said, verily, I say unto you.

  35. I know you not watch therefore, for ye know neither

  36. the day nor the hour we're in the Son of

  37. Man cometh. May God add a blessing to the reading, hearing,

  38. and understanding of his word. A man, you may be

  39. seated in the presence of the Lord. My title for

  40. this message is it is necessary that.

  41. You be ready.

  42. I see fit for this to be a word for

  43. such a time as this, because as we again mean,

  44. I say this all the time. For years people have

  45. been saying Christ as soon to come, Christ is soon

  46. to come, Christ.

  47. Is soon to come.

  48. And I think they've been saying this for over two

  49. thousand years now, Christs soon to come. Christ was soon

  50. to come. Right after Christ left, that was his message

  51. to the disciples.

  52. He was leaving, but he'd come back for him.

  53. He was going to prepare a place in heaven for

  54. those that would choose to serve him, for those that

  55. would follow him. And so you would think, after two

  56. thousand years, many are already gone.

  57. Whether they've gone on to.

  58. Be with the Lord, or whether they're already in eternal damnation,

  59. we don't know, but I do know it's been over

  60. two thousand years. So understanding that there is a necessity

  61. to be ready, you would think in the midst of waiting,

  62. and you have to be ready while you're waiting. Some

  63. would get real, real tired in that way. But Jesus

  64. tells this parable of the ten virgins. All ten were invited,

  65. all ten had lamps, all ten were waiting on the bridegroom,

  66. but only five were ready when it mattered. So we

  67. get this parable from Jesus as an illustration of what

  68. we should be doing. And so, as I said earlier,

  69. it's been over two thousand years since Jesus has been gone.

  70. Are we still waiting?

  71. Many of us just got here I just heard Minister

  72. Tamika say that she just got saved, and while she

  73. was unsaved, the Lord was keeping her while she was

  74. driving drunk, while she was doing drugs. So many of

  75. us are not even to the place where we understand

  76. that there's a wait. Many are just moving around as

  77. if nothing has taken place. But the difference wasn't opportunity.

  78. The difference wasn't access. The difference was the readiness.

  79. You had to be ready.

  80. It's not optional and it's not suggested. It's necessary that

  81. we be ready.

  82. Some years and it hadn't even been that long.

  83. I was finna say some years ago, like it had

  84. been about ten fifteen yearsrobably, about.

  85. Two three years ago, we started a Bible study group

  86. at the house.

  87. Some of the prayer warriors had decided that they could

  88. get a good Bible study from the leader over.

  89. The prayer team, which was me.

  90. So they asked me to put together a Bible study

  91. for them. And so I think it was probably right

  92. after our first second meeting, the Lord gave me a

  93. word for the Bible study group, and he said, get ready,

  94. stay ready, so.

  95. That you'll be ready.

  96. That was the importance of that Bible study group. So

  97. not that we could come together as women and sit

  98. in gossip and sit in lilligag and sit and play,

  99. but so that we could come together get the Word

  100. of God in us and get an understanding of what

  101. the Word of God was telling us for such a

  102. time as this. And that's exactly what we did. So

  103. readiness is not optional, it's a requirement.

  104. It requires the readiness requires us.

  105. We have to have it in order for us to

  106. access what God.

  107. Is prepared for us. We won't make it in if

  108. we're not ready. That's not scriptural. We will not make

  109. it in if we're not ready.

  110. So while we have the time, let us find ourselves

  111. getting ready. In this parable, again, there's ten virgins. All

  112. of them had the same invitation. We all have the

  113. same invitation. Even the sinner has the same invitation. That

  114. invitation was for me before I even got the salvation.

  115. So the invitation is to come. The bridegroom is throwing

  116. this big bank with this big wedding, and he's inviting

  117. all of us to come.

  118. But you have to prepare yourself to go in.

  119. You can't just go in the way you want to

  120. go in, like many of us want to do what

  121. we want to do. Prepare for everything else but the

  122. coming of Christ. Many of us have prepared for retirement.

  123. That ain't me yet, but we should be getting started.

  124. Retirement means I'm gonna have money when I don't work

  125. no more. Retirement means I'm gonna be set for when

  126. I don't have to get up and go.

  127. To work anymore.

  128. Many of us were prepared for doctor's appointments. We know

  129. that it's time to go to our annual physical. We

  130. start taking care of our bodies. Some of us might

  131. even lose a few pounds. I'm going to the doctor.

  132. I don't want him to say nothing about my weight.

  133. I prepare to go for the grocery store. How many

  134. of us don't write a list out. Sometimes even prepare

  135. in my mind how much I'm gonna spend, even though

  136. it don't work that way once I get there. We

  137. understand as human beings the preparation is necessary. But for

  138. Jesus to tell this parable, obviously he understood that the

  139. people wouldn't understand the preparation was necessary for his coming.

  140. So he enlightens us by using the parable of the

  141. ten virgins, says that this is not only our way

  142. to have access to what God has.

  143. Went and done, what Jesus has went and done.

  144. But in this parable we also recognize that only five

  145. had access to what he did. This shows us or

  146. makes a comparison of the.

  147. Wise to the foolish.

  148. And I remember before I got say, they would always say,

  149. you can't call nobody no food.

  150. That's a sin. You can't call nobody no food.

  151. But the Bible continuously gives us insight on recognizing the

  152. foolish from the wise. Jesus, neither of God, neither the

  153. Holy Spirit ever meant for us to be ignorant to

  154. the fact that there's two different sects of people, not

  155. that he has called us to separate ourselves due to

  156. them sex because a lot of people take that and

  157. they say, well, when the Bible says that come from

  158. among them and be separated, he wants us to come

  159. from among what they're doing. But we have to go

  160. back to him in order to help them.

  161. Somebody witness to me.

  162. So Lord, for being all the saved people sit on

  163. one side of the room, and all the unsaved people

  164. sit on the other side of the room. They ain't

  165. gonna never get no help. So that's not the separation.

  166. But the separation is to know, because if I don't

  167. know that I'm being foolish or making a foolish decision,

  168. I'm in the dark. Yes, if the wise person don't

  169. understand that what they doing is wise and what the

  170. foolish person doing is foolish, then the wise person might

  171. be MISTERO strewed and go over with the foolish person

  172. thinking what they doing is right. So it's never meant

  173. for us to be in ignorance that there's wisdom and

  174. there's foolishness. There's wise people and there's some fools. So

  175. Jesus takes this parable and depicts it exactly the way

  176. it is. There were some wise virgins, but there was

  177. also some foolish versions, and the difference with them came

  178. to their opportunity because the wise were wise enough they

  179. knew to get ready.

  180. The foolish were foolish, so they were not ready.

  181. So it's important that we make sure that we understand

  182. that there is a depiction between the wise and the foolish.

  183. God does not require perfection, So let's move that one

  184. out the way too, because you'll find somebody that's not

  185. living right and they see somebody else that's living right.

  186. Oh, she thinks she all that.

  187. Or you can find somebody that's doing the best that

  188. they can do. So they think they doing everything that

  189. is right. Now'll say, oh they ain't there yet, I'm

  190. better than them. No, has nothing to do with perfection.

  191. It has all to do with readiness. Not.

  192. Can I read longer than you? Not? Can I pray

  193. longer than you? Not? Can I go on a three

  194. day fast and you can only do two?

  195. I mean I am fasted for two hours and somebody

  196. else fasted for thirty. But that don't make them more

  197. readier than me. What counts is that my readiness is

  198. in my heart. My readiness is with God. It is

  199. necessary to be personally prepared personally, and I'm trying to

  200. say that pe as hard as I can, because this

  201. is a personal relationship. My relationship with God don't have

  202. anything to do with you except for God.

  203. It's called us to be a community.

  204. But when it comes to my relationship with God, that's

  205. a personal things.

  206. It's personal.

  207. How I pray, it's personal, how fast, it's personal, how

  208. I spend.

  209. Time with God. God.

  210. Because when I stand before God on Judgment Day, I

  211. don't get to stand with none of y'all.

  212. Y'all or nobody else.

  213. So for everything that I am that comes at me

  214. that I'm judged for, I can't say, well, Lord, I

  215. didn't do that because of so and so. Lord, I

  216. didn't spend time with you, because I had to do

  217. this because Jesus already told us in order to live

  218. for him, we got to die of self in order

  219. to gain we're gonna lose. I done lost plenty of sleep,

  220. I've lost plenty of private time. Why it's for my relationship,

  221. my personal relationship with God. And so when it comes

  222. to that personal relationship, that's why it says that all

  223. of them had lamps. We're not saying the foolish virgins

  224. did not have lamps. The Word of God says they

  225. all had them. So with them all having lamps, the

  226. lamps symbolized that the Blue Leavers outward profession of faith

  227. was there. But the thing about an outward profession is

  228. what's going on on the inside, what's going on on

  229. the inside.

  230. I've given this testimony once before.

  231. When I got saved, everybody in their mama work because

  232. I didn't get saved the church. I was at work

  233. when I got saved, and so everybody at work knew Johnny.

  234. They knew Johnny was an alcoholic, they knew she was

  235. a cusser, they knew she was a complainer.

  236. I used to complain so much. I'd have people telling me, ooh,

  237. could you please go sit over there?

  238. And if it's that bad, why don't you just quit?

  239. That was Johnny before Johnny got saved, so they knew

  240. all the ugliness about me. But when I got saved,

  241. everybody else starts, Man, I'm saved, I'm saved. I'm saved too.

  242. Well again, I don't understand salvation. I wasn't raised up

  243. in church. I think salvation is just that everybody go

  244. to church. But what the Lord started doing was something

  245. completely different. He didn't send me to a church house.

  246. He started changing.

  247. Me inwardly the way I thought, the way I talked.

  248. Was delivering me from alcohol, and I won't say was

  249. delivering me. My deliverance was instantaneously. The Lord said that's

  250. your last drink. That was my last drink smoked for

  251. twenty years. He said, that's your last cigarette. That was

  252. my last cigarette. So everything that he started doing, he

  253. did it instantaneously. So while I was changing. They was

  254. all still looking the same and trying to tell me

  255. how to live. Thats the same person. Now, I wasn't

  256. judging them, But if y'all just don't, he ain't why

  257. he ain't doing to y'all what he's doing to me.

  258. I think I learned in the beginning to start questioning God.

  259. So then I went to guard and questioned him because

  260. I had a sister. Tell me now that I will say.

  261. They was all my brothers and sisters were all siblings.

  262. You know, you have to call everybody brother and sister. Again,

  263. this is new to me. This is new to me.

  264. Salvation is new. So you got to give it to

  265. me there, and you have to give it to them.

  266. They tried, but the difference kept showing up. There's a

  267. difference between the foolish virgin and the wise virgin. Those

  268. differences are gonna be seen because it's not just an

  269. outward look.

  270. The lamp.

  271. See, I can tote the lamp, and why I'm walking

  272. around with the lamp. You can see my lamp. Have

  273. any of y'all ever seen the lamps that they put

  274. the all in. Unless you get close up on that lamp,

  275. you can't see that all. You can see the flickering

  276. from the little limp that's on the top, but you still.

  277. Can't see that all all is an inward.

  278. This lamp is a representation of the out work, the

  279. profession of faith. How many of you know that your

  280. testing trials come to test your faith. It don't never

  281. show how big or how.

  282. Real your faith feels.

  283. Into something on the outside happens, then everything on the

  284. inside to start showing up on the outside. Because if

  285. I got faith that Jehovah Jyra is my provider, then

  286. when I can't pay my bills, I don't get weary.

  287. I don't go to running around.

  288. Like a chicken with my head cut off, saying, Lord,

  289. what am I gonna do? Hoim I gonna do this?

  290. I don't know what to do now? So my inwd

  291. will always be depicted on the outside when I'm saying

  292. I'm a true believer. Back to my coworkers, when they

  293. said they were saying because I was say, they wasn't changing.

  294. They were still smoking, they were still drinking, they were

  295. still cussing. I didn't even understand tides, but some of

  296. them did, and I had a whole bunch of them

  297. to say when you go to church with.

  298. You take my tides.

  299. So it's not that they didn't have something. They had

  300. a little something inwardly, but they didn't have enough inwardly.

  301. Their lamps were not full. This whole parable is about

  302. what's in your lamp. It's you're all.

  303. It's necessary for us to not just profess on the outside,

  304. but profess on the inside. Only five had a reserve

  305. for all. So what's a reserve for all? Pastor Jay

  306. means you have capacity, You have the room.

  307. In you to do what the spirit is calling you

  308. to do.

  309. Right. I went through this and I was telling Minister

  310. right over there because I was just all excited about

  311. this this message. Last week, I pulled up at his

  312. house and I said, oh my goodness, and this is

  313. because I'm driving and the Lord is talking to me.

  314. And how many of y'all know he do that?

  315. And you don't have no pen And then you'll be like,

  316. come on, Jesus, you know I'm not gonna remember this.

  317. So I'm talking to Minister write about this all, and

  318. I'm like, okay, because he wants them to go the

  319. other vergins.

  320. Tell him to go borrow all. You can't borrow.

  321. All and the representation when you when you do research

  322. on the all, the all is still considered the holy spirit.

  323. But they still told him to go borrow the Holy spirit.

  324. My holy Spirit ain't.

  325. Working right today.

  326. I hadn't spent enough time with the Lord, and can

  327. I get some Holy Spirit? And so I was telling

  328. Minister write, I say that that one got me.

  329. That one got me. I had to do some more,

  330. some more researching and some more studying on it.

  331. But the all is more of a representation of your

  332. inner spiritual preparedness. What am I doing to make sure

  333. that my all is still flowing? When was the last

  334. time we read a scripture? And I won't even say

  335. when was the last time you read one? When was

  336. the last time you studied one? When was the last

  337. time that you decided I'm gonna get deep with the

  338. Lord on today?

  339. I mean, because there's no word now.

  340. I done heard some people say this, but so many

  341. people have said so much. That's why I tell people

  342. don't listen to people go with the word, cause so

  343. many people have said, well, you can't just ask God anything.

  344. I beg to different because if you don't ask, how

  345. you gonna know? He said, seek and you shall find

  346. ask and it shall be given. So even with wisdom

  347. and knowledge, if it's something I don't know, I need

  348. to go to the Lord. I don't need to be

  349. going to man. The Bible says, any man to lack wisdom,

  350. let him ask, and I will give it unto him.

  351. And look umbradily. No attaches nothing with that thing. Just

  352. ass I got you holy spirit. So that's the feeling,

  353. that's the preparedness that we partake in more of what

  354. God has called us to do. The five virgins that

  355. were foolish, they were so foolish that they felt like,

  356. I don't have to read every day. Hey, God, the

  357. word of God says that he is my daily bread.

  358. So I can eat every day a meal, but not

  359. eat the daily bread. That's like having a sandwich without

  360. the bread. I got all this meat and I ain't

  361. got no bread.

  362. It don't even taste right.

  363. We use the bread to put the mail and the

  364. mustard on to give it a little added flavor. I

  365. ain't even got no added flavor because I won't read

  366. the word.

  367. I'm dull. I ain't got no flavor to me. Did

  368. the Word not say.

  369. That I was the soul of the earth, but I

  370. ain't got no flavor because I ain't got no daily bread.

  371. That's the preparedness we have to prepare our Holy Spirit,

  372. our personal relationship. A personal relationship is not on Sundays.

  373. A personal relationship is not on Wednesdays. Me and my

  374. husband don't spend a lot of time as much time

  375. as we should spend together, and that's one of our

  376. go to back and forth. Well, how do you think

  377. the Lord feels if I have this intimate relationship with him?

  378. Because I understand how my husband feel and I hope

  379. he understand when I said, But like I say, we

  380. sometimes go back and forth about that one.

  381. So would you not think that.

  382. Some of the times that nudget at your spirit is

  383. not the Lord going back and forth with you because

  384. the Bible says he does bring forth conviction. Now, don't

  385. get me wrong. If you can't, if it's gonna take well,

  386. I'm not even gonna say that, Thank you, Holy Spirit.

  387. What's five to ten minutes to day with him and

  388. I'm giving everything else hours My daycare is open from

  389. seven thirty to five thirty.

  390. That's ten hours out of the day.

  391. The majority of us work eight hours out of a day.

  392. Then you go home, then you cook, or then you

  393. go watch TV, or then you go to the store,

  394. or then you go to your friend's house, or then

  395. you get on the headphone over here for some people.

  396. And I don't even say women anymore, because me and

  397. gospel just as much as women do now. But you'll

  398. get on the phone and you'll talk about everybody all

  399. day long.

  400. And that's and that's that's still time spent. Because this reserve.

  401. Is said to be a kept vessel. This vessel represents

  402. the believers in This vessel is where we keep our awe.

  403. This this vessel is considered to be a call to

  404. fulfill God's work. The vessel represents holiness and dedication to God.

  405. Acts nineteen fifteen refers to power as a chosen vessel.

  406. Power was chosen to spread the gospel and to stay ready.

  407. If power was chosen to spread the gospel, were not

  408. chosen to spread the gospel? Are we not chosen vessels?

  409. I think sometimes people get so much so caught up

  410. in titles that if they don't have a title, they

  411. don't think they're supposed to do anything. But that's not biblical.

  412. Even when it said Jesus called them. These gifts that

  413. he gave when he came back, those gifts are for

  414. the five fold ministry. That's for the work in the church.

  415. We don't work in the church all the time. Even

  416. those of.

  417. Us that have a title should be working outside the church.

  418. We're not here. I just said it while ago.

  419. It's a Sunday and a Wednesday thing, and some don't

  420. even come on Wednesdays.

  421. It's just a Sunday thing.

  422. So if your relationship is only built out for that

  423. one day, then you have to be doing something outside

  424. of here.

  425. Yeah.

  426. I'm not saying nothing about you if you don't come

  427. to church, but I'm saying, if you're not here on Wednesday,

  428. what's your Bible study life like? If you miss a

  429. couple of Sundays, what's your prayers life like? This the

  430. house of prayer part of keeping that all flowing. It's

  431. not just Bible study, it is prayer too. That's our

  432. intimacy with the Lord. This is when I can really

  433. sit down and ask some questions. Not only can I

  434. ask questions, but even doing prayer, I can tell the

  435. Lord all that's going on in my life. The Bible says,

  436. let every supplication and request be made known unto God.

  437. So if it's something that I'm dealing with, something that

  438. I don't have, I need to be going to the Lord.

  439. And many of us will choose to go to other

  440. people before we go to God.

  441. That's time again that we could be spending with the Lord.

  442. I ain't praying three days now. I'm broke, So I'm

  443. going to go to the bank.

  444. Instead of me praying for three days and on the

  445. fourth day expecting God to answer them prayers. Because why

  446. I've been in prayer, I've been saying, Lord.

  447. I'm in lack. Now. Your word said that you knew

  448. where I was gonna be before I got here. And

  449. I also say you.

  450. Attentive unto the cries of your people. I'm crying out

  451. right now. Lord, I need a financial breakthrough. I need

  452. a financial blessing. I'm trusting in you to make a

  453. way out of no way. Here's a bridge over trouble waters,

  454. ain't he? And if I don't have no money, that

  455. sounded like trouble Water's right?

  456. Amen?

  457. So, But instead many of us will go to the phone,

  458. call old girl, you got ten fifteen, I can borrow

  459. the long company. You got ten fifteen. I can borrow,

  460. And I'm just being honest. So when we do that,

  461. we're depleting ourselves of the all instead of putting the

  462. all in, because we're going outside for what we need

  463. instead of inside. The Bible says that the five wise

  464. there were five wives and five foolish, but the wires

  465. took all in their vessels, and.

  466. The foolish had none. So even though they knew that the.

  467. Bridegroom was coming back, they was not getting prepared. How

  468. many of us know Jesus is coming back. Are we

  469. getting prepared? Are we kind of like sitting and waiting

  470. on that thing? Because I believe the other concept that

  471. we can get from this parable is that why they

  472. were waiting, they had to be doing something. And there's

  473. a lot of people that are just waiting. They saying,

  474. because I'm saved, I'm going to heaven. I'm gonna make

  475. it in.

  476. I got this. He has prepared the wait for me.

  477. But when this parable story, I'm going ahead of myself.

  478. I get there in a minute. I'll get there in

  479. a minute, Thank you, Holy Spirit.

  480. They all looked the same on the outside, and they

  481. all had the same lamp. They all had the same

  482. assignment and they all had the same expectation, but inwardly

  483. they were different. They were different just like today's people.

  484. Today's people, they look saved, they sound saved, They even

  485. post scriptures on social media, and they even attend church sometimes,

  486. but they still have a lack of preparation.

  487. Preparation.

  488. Ain't saying that I'm saved, because the Bible says you

  489. can say one thing with your mouth, but your heart

  490. be far from it. Save means I'm saved from my sins.

  491. I accepted what Jesus did on the cross for me.

  492. Saved says I'm changing the way I live, not because

  493. of me, but because of who is in me now.

  494. He didn't save me to leave me the same. That's

  495. why he gives us a whole new heart.

  496. Not even that.

  497. He'll come in and make your heart over. He gives

  498. you a new one. Save people, It's okay to start

  499. thinking different, It's okay to start acting different.

  500. It's okay to.

  501. Feel different because with that change, that's what comes. So

  502. playing the part of being saved is not what's gonna

  503. prepare you for the coming of Christ. God is not

  504. looking at our image, He's looking at our all. So

  505. many people think because they got an image that sit

  506. them in that thing. And that's not just for the

  507. people that are unsaved, but that's for the ones that

  508. are preaching, teaching and prophesying. But they ain't who God

  509. and called them to be. So we're looking at this

  510. as the coming of Christ. We know that in chapter

  511. in one Timothy, chapter three, it says that.

  512. We're living in perilous times.

  513. So when you look at the rise of the false teachers,

  514. the false preachers, the false prophets.

  515. They come right after church. They ain't even the people.

  516. That's on the outside professing I might not be saved.

  517. Jesus is talking about them, the saying they say the

  518. outward looks like it, their inward is completely different. But

  519. the thing about it is everybody that has something on

  520. the inside, it will eventually show up on the outside.

  521. You can't hold it. You can't hold it in.

  522. If you a cusser, eventually it's gonna come out. If

  523. you a liar, eventually you're gonna lie. If you're a thief,

  524. eventually you're gonna steal something. Yeah, if you're somebody with

  525. im moral integrity, eventually it's gonna show up.

  526. You can hide it in church, all you want to,

  527. but eventually it's gonna show up. So when it shows up,

  528. that's who you are now again.

  529. We're working on getting better. But you can't let that

  530. be your excuse forever, because how long does it take God?

  531. And I'm just saying you hear people say all the time,

  532. God's still working on me.

  533. God still working on me, and surely he is. But

  534. if he's still working on you with the.

  535. Same thing for the last ten years, what you're trying

  536. to tell me about my father, I'm just saying because

  537. you didn't say I hadn't changed yet, their excuse is

  538. always God is still working on me. I mean, can

  539. God not get the job done again? I'm not saying

  540. that everybody's deliverance and their new income to salvation it's

  541. gonna be like mine. But if He could instantaneously deliver

  542. me from alcohol and smoking, you mean to tell me

  543. of taking him twenty years to deliver you. Not the

  544. instantaneously God, the omnipotent God that I'm not present, God,

  545. the God that already knew you had that.

  546. Addiction before he saved you.

  547. God, not that God. You mean to tell me that

  548. God is having a hard time getting you the change,

  549. not that God. That's the only thing that I be

  550. thinking of when people say, well, God and I finished

  551. with me? Yet I understand that it's a work not finished.

  552. But there's some things that the Lord can be trying

  553. to pull us out of or get us to change from.

  554. And it ain't got nothing to do with God. It's

  555. me and my stubbornness. It's me in my wanting to

  556. state the way that I am. Don't leave me alone. Lord,

  557. I'm okay right here. You mean I got to stop

  558. lying because the Bible says he brings forth convictions.

  559. So when I lied yesterday, something said, girl, you know

  560. you wasn't supposed to be lying, And you said no, God,

  561. but that was a little white lie. Ain't no such

  562. thing as a little white lie.

  563. So it ain't that it's hard for God to create

  564. the change in us that needs to be created, but

  565. in my vessel that can be work with readiness begins

  566. with what you carry.

  567. Do you carry a heart of repentance?

  568. Do you know how many people don't want to repent

  569. because to repent is to say that I'm wrong. Repent

  570. means I have to turn from that thing which I

  571. really know ain't right, And not go back to it again.

  572. That was the word that Jesus came with.

  573. That was the word that John Baptists came with, Repent

  574. for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. And then

  575. Jesus came right back on the scene and back that

  576. up repent because I'm here now. And for a lot

  577. of individuals, saints, people that say, they say, people that

  578. like to put the crosses on the back of their car,

  579. put the bumper stickers on the back of their car.

  580. I'm saved. Don't get too close or get close. I'm saved.

  581. I love you. And then that's the.

  582. Person that you run up on and then when you

  583. get on the side of them and they cussing you

  584. out because you were too close to they bumper. Now,

  585. just read your bumper sticker and it said you was

  586. saved and you love me?

  587. And you what to what mean?

  588. Because they're doing all of this stuff and you don't

  589. know what they doing sign language, and so.

  590. It's it's that it's the application to this is.

  591. Your walk with God must be personal. I can't make

  592. you save, you can't make me save. You can't make

  593. me live right. I can't make you live right.

  594. I can encourage you. Hey, you on a fast with

  595. me on today?

  596. We do that every now and then with the with

  597. the prayer group. Hey, let's let's fast for a day.

  598. Let's fast from six to six.

  599. I can encourriage you.

  600. But even with that fasting or praying, that still has

  601. some intimacy with it. I'm not gonna be at your

  602. house while we faster, so I don't know if you

  603. really fast, and if you are really fast, and I

  604. don't know that you're praying fast.

  605. Thing is not to be done just to do.

  606. I'm not gonna just stop eating and Lord, that's gonna

  607. help me.

  608. No faster.

  609. That means I'm gonna push away the plate, but I'm

  610. gonna pull up the word.

  611. I'm gonna pull up the word.

  612. That's why Jesus say some of these things only come

  613. out through faster than praying. Because while you're fast and

  614. you're seeking God, Lord, what should.

  615. I be doing? What did this fast? I don't want

  616. this fast be in vain? God?

  617. What would you have me to do? Is it anything

  618. I need to hear from you? Do I need to

  619. turn this music off?

  620. Matter of fact? Do I need to turn that person

  621. off so they're not interrupting me?

  622. While I'm taking this time to commune with you, while

  623. I'm consecrating myself for the Lord. Yeah, it might be

  624. some stuff I don't need to listen to. Some people

  625. I don't need to talk to, but that is what

  626. God is looking for.

  627. I cannot live off of my appearances. I cannot.

  628. I can wear dresses, long sleeve, turtlenecked shirts as a

  629. woman and that don't make me save. I can wear

  630. a suit and to tie every day as a man,

  631. and that don't make me save. And just because I

  632. keep saying I'm saved, don't make me saved.

  633. Salvation has nothing to do with what I say.

  634. Salvation has to do with what I've received and what

  635. I believe.

  636. And if I believe that I.

  637. Have been saved out of my sins, out of darkness,

  638. and God has invited me into his marvelous life, that's

  639. just showing the lifestyle that I live. The Bible say

  640. confess with your mouth, believe in your heart. But if

  641. you make that confession and you don't believe in the

  642. confession you made, that's like me saying I'm gonna lose

  643. weight today.

  644. But I don't believe that.

  645. I'm just saying that because I want you to think

  646. that that's what I'm really working on. I'm working on

  647. getting myself together in my body. And then every time

  648. every time I turn around, there.

  649. You go, I'm eating.

  650. I just said something, but deep down on the inside,

  651. I really didn't believe what I say. That's why the

  652. Word of God says that it is impossible to please

  653. God without faith. Because if I'm saying this is something

  654. I'm doing on, I'm saying this is.

  655. Who I am. I got to walk that thing out.

  656. How many of us know that God holds us accountable

  657. to what we say. You can't keep setting and saying

  658. I'm saying, sanctify, I fear with the Holy Spirit, and.

  659. You just sitting her and you still the same.

  660. There has to be some evidence but God's grace and mercy,

  661. and because he's so long suffering with us, and again

  662. because for over two thousand years he's been long suffering.

  663. But the day is coming when Jesus will come back.

  664. That's why we have this parable. Before you get the

  665. chapter twenty five, Chapter twenty four, he gives the signs

  666. of the end time.

  667. The people say what it's going to.

  668. Be like, so he starts telling them and in those

  669. signs of the end times. You even get some mornings,

  670. and then right after that then he tells you what

  671. to do to get ready.

  672. Don't be a fool, be wise about this day. Make

  673. sure that you have your own.

  674. It is necessary to be ready for the delay. Again,

  675. it's been over two thousand years. I got to be

  676. ready for that delay because again, as I said earlier,

  677. many of us are impatient.

  678. We live in a time where if it don't go

  679. in the microwave, a lot of people won't buy it.

  680. And not just what we eat.

  681. When we pray, we think God's supposed to answer it

  682. right away.

  683. Even though he said do it, Terry, wait on it. See,

  684. that's what Jesus says. Here.

  685. It says, and while the bridegroom tarry verse five, While

  686. the bridegroom.

  687. Tarry it, but listen at this they all.

  688. Look at your neighbor, and say, they all, every last

  689. one of them, all ten of them.

  690. Went to sleep. They slept this slumber. Yeah.

  691. So, but what that shows us is that the way

  692. can be tiresome, the way can get tarsome. Even some

  693. of the best of us can get tired.

  694. Jesus took Jesus took.

  695. Peter, John and James up with him. And what did

  696. he say? He say, wait here while I go pray.

  697. I'll be back. He went and prayed, he came back.

  698. They would sleep. He woke them up.

  699. Y'all, come on, wake up, y'all can't sleep with me

  700. for just I mean, you can't stay awake with me

  701. just one hour? Again, we've been waiting over two thousand years.

  702. He asked them, about one hour. We in this church,

  703. in this house, in this hour, over two thousand years.

  704. So he woke him up, He went right back, came back.

  705. They would sleep again. How many of us are falling asleep?

  706. How many of us are falling asleep? But again, And

  707. Jesus wanted us to know that it would be at him.

  708. You know, he wouldn't have put that in there, that

  709. all of them fell asleep. But if you can get

  710. back up, and when you get back up, you still

  711. got your all, you're still seeking your all, you're still

  712. spending that time with the Lord. Because you're gonna get

  713. a little tired. Yeah, that's why the Bible says be weary,

  714. not in well doing, because you can be doing all

  715. that you're doing and still get tired. Lord I've been

  716. doing this and I've been doing that, and ain't nothing changing.

  717. God is still the same, Lord. But I'm still praying. Lord,

  718. but I'm still fasting God. I keep going, I'm pushing,

  719. I'm pressing God, but it still ain't changed.

  720. It's been twenty years now.

  721. What the preacher preaching the anniversary and the revival, because

  722. that's what I've been calling it on last Saturday.

  723. We can't stop in the middle. You have to keep

  724. the momentum.

  725. And sometimes because it ain't happen when you wanted it

  726. to happen, you just stop. He didn't answer your prayer

  727. when you thought he should have answered your pressure, you

  728. just stopped.

  729. Lord, I ain't even gonna prayer about this one no more.

  730. Even though you have an example in the Bible, the

  731. woman that kept going to the king's door, knocking at

  732. the man's door, kept going so till the man said,

  733. on y'all give her what she won't give her what

  734. she needs, because if I don't, this woman gonna drive

  735. me crazy.

  736. Some of us won't even be persistent in prayer. Some

  737. of us won't be persistent in coming to church.

  738. Some of us won't be persistent in what God has

  739. asked us to do. Some of us won't be persistent

  740. and fasting. Some of us won't be persistent in helping people. Yeah,

  741. this is our preparation to.

  742. Get in, but we don't want to be persistent with God.

  743. But you'll be persistent with that job.

  744. You've been working there for five years.

  745. Mad.

  746. You'll be persistent with what I do every day on

  747. every Tuesday routine. You're gonna be persistent for getting your

  748. nails done, going to get your head slad. Yeah, you're

  749. persistent with that, because Lord forbid, I miss a nail day.

  750. Huh? Not have on my hands looking like that?

  751. But you ain't heard from the Lord, So no, I

  752. ain't gonna pray no more. I don't understand the words,

  753. so I'm gonna stop reading it. I ain't getting nothing

  754. from it anyway, God, I don't even know what you're saying.

  755. Persistent with preparing yourself for everything else except for the

  756. coming of Christ.

  757. That's the type of world we live in.

  758. Delays are not just made for delays. Delays are made

  759. for development.

  760. What can you do while you waiting?

  761. Huh? Can I even practice on what it is the

  762. Lord has called me to do? Can I practice praying.

  763. Can I practice preaching? Can I practice loving on somebody?

  764. Can I practice being kind? Can I practice being considerate?

  765. I'm just saying the delay is an opportunity for us

  766. to develop. Jesus has given us time to get ready.

  767. He hadn't came now because there's.

  768. Some people that still need to get ready.

  769. Thank you Jesus, one of them, one of them. I

  770. am a work in progress. So he has not come yet.

  771. It's not his.

  772. Delay, but it's the opportunity for us to develop. A

  773. delay is not a denial, like some of us stopped praying. Oh,

  774. he ain't gonna give it to me anyway, because while

  775. you was praying, the enemy creepd in and was whispering

  776. in your ear while you were praying to the Lord,

  777. and you didn't recognize it was the enemy. But the

  778. Word of God says that all God's promises a yeah

  779. and amen. So if it's in his word, it is so,

  780. it is so. But if you don't believe, if you

  781. don't have faith in that word, you're gonna miss out

  782. on that. The delay separates the wise from the foolish

  783. by the testing of their endurance in preparation. Matthew twenty

  784. four and thirteen says those that are enduring to the

  785. end shall be saved. The wise will stay in communion

  786. as well as communication. Even though they all slumbered and

  787. slept because they grew tired, the wise still understood the

  788. waiting period. The wise did not lose focus. They didn't

  789. lose focus on the promise. The delay will cause us

  790. to sometimes fall into a spiritual lethargy, complacency, or lack

  791. of vigilance. And when you lose those, you separate yourself

  792. from God, not as in.

  793. The darkness, but you pull back.

  794. And if any of you have ever pulled back, I

  795. can be honest by myself. There was a time when

  796. I said, Lord God, because I was getting up every morning,

  797. like from six to seven, six to seven, whenever it

  798. was time to take them kids' school, and I was

  799. setting the word of God. I would vast in the

  800. Word of God, and it was like nothing was happening.

  801. And so that lethargy came up on me.

  802. That feeling is if he wasn't hearing me, or he

  803. didn't understand what I was going through. I'm not getting this,

  804. and why can't I get this?

  805. God?

  806. So I stopped, not stop reading the word, but stop

  807. getting up spending that quality time with God.

  808. And so when I got ready to get back to it, man.

  809. It was a press to get in, because anytime we're

  810. going away too long, it's hard to get back. That's

  811. one of the deceptions of the enemy. Oh God ain't

  812. answered that prayer yet. Leave it alone. Oh God ain't

  813. did that yet. Don't don't go back and ask him.

  814. He'll even use people to tell you that you shouldn't

  815. keep praying the same thing over.

  816. And over again. That ain't what they say.

  817. If you don't, if you really trust in God, you

  818. won't keep asking for the same thing.

  819. That's not a scripture. But the enemy will use people

  820. to tell.

  821. You that if you ain't got it when you think

  822. you should have it, then it ain't God God as

  823. just you wanting something.

  824. But the Bible says that he'll give me the desires

  825. of my heart.

  826. And I'm a true of firm believer of Tyler that

  827. the only reason he'll give me the desires of my

  828. heart is because he placed those desires within my heart

  829. a man, so he'd bee given me some things and

  830. had those had me to lay those petitions before him.

  831. So we don't want to go out of that.

  832. We want to continue to make sure that we stay vigilant.

  833. We want to study, we want to make sure we're

  834. taking that quality time to pray with the Lord. We

  835. have been called to live this life. That's called a journey.

  836. It's not a one day trip. It's not you go

  837. around the corner and you there. It's a journey. I've

  838. never seen a journey that was short. Journeys are always

  839. considered long longevity. It's gonna take you some time to

  840. get there. It's gonna take us some time to get there.

  841. But we got to keep going so that when he

  842. gets here, we're ready. We have to be ready when

  843. he come in order for the door not to be closed.

  844. In us scriptural ones against sleeping and slumbering in dangerous times,

  845. it's like a spiritual neglect or laziness. Proverbs six nine

  846. and eleven causes sloughfulness that leads to that leads to poverty.

  847. Some of us are in poverty because we sloughful. We

  848. might not be the lazy one that's not working, because

  849. that's what it says in Proverbs. But even with our

  850. given even when our good stewardship, even with us being

  851. mindful of how we manage what God. That's the good stewardship,

  852. what God has given us all things belonged.

  853. To the Lord.

  854. I might have worked for it, but if he didn't

  855. give me the strength to work, I wouldn't be able.

  856. To work for it.

  857. If heaven and earth is the Lord's and everything in

  858. the earth is his, so is that? So we need

  859. to be mindful even how to be better stuards over that.

  860. But He's given us Romans thirteen and eleven, Paul says,

  861. wake up from slumber, because our salvation is now near.

  862. The first time we believe.

  863. We can't slumber and sleep because now we're slumbering and

  864. sleeping in dangerous times, dangerous hours.

  865. That's too much going on. While you slumbering and sleeping.

  866. The Muslims are raising up Mosca all over the place.

  867. I just heard the news story the other day.

  868. While the church is slumbering and sleeping that they're going

  869. into the schoolhouse passing out pamphlets trying to convert kids

  870. over to Muslims. And a lot of us won't even

  871. go out and witness. It's time to go witness. You

  872. can't go on, you busy. They're making an effort to

  873. win people to the Islamic religion. While we're sleeping and slumbering,

  874. while we're tired. While I was at work all day.

  875. Oh I got somewhere to go. I can't do that.

  876. They done literally set forth specific and right here in Texas,

  877. right here in Dallas.

  878. Those Fort Worth areas full of them.

  879. That's why they was trying to get the shurial llowed

  880. not to be passed. It was in for those that vote,

  881. it was a part of our balance, the last voting

  882. section to not pass.

  883. The charial law. If we would get.

  884. Out, open our eyes, wake up and study and look

  885. and see what's going on, we would have a better

  886. understanding because those are things we should not just be

  887. voting against, we should be praying against. Because if you

  888. have an understanding of what the sharial llaw means, you

  889. wouldn't want that law in the United States either, especially

  890. for the women. So but again, slumbering and sleeping would

  891. have us in times like this. This shows us that

  892. it's not about perfection again, but it's about preparation. Because

  893. they all slept. We again live in a microwave generation.

  894. People want everything quick, They want quick answers, they want

  895. instant blessings. They want immediate results. If it don't happen now,

  896. I don't want it now. But God doesn't always move fast.

  897. Why because God moves on time, his time.

  898. He know what tomorrow hoes.

  899. He knows what we're going through, he knows what we're

  900. dealing with, so he moves according to what he know

  901. is best for us. It's not just his timing. He

  902. knows what's best for us. We don't know what's best

  903. for us. Look how mess up we sometimes mess ourselves up,

  904. our lives. That's why we needed to save you, bunch

  905. of messed up people. We still need to save you.

  906. It's a messed up world. And while we're waiting, your

  907. faith is being tested, your consistency is being tested, your

  908. all is being tested. Some of us will also lose

  909. the fire. We'll lose our fire because nothing happens when

  910. we expected for it to happen. So you're living off

  911. your expectations. Instead of saying, Lord, what would you have

  912. me to do right now? If you the god that

  913. knows the future, what should I be doing to wait

  914. on what I'm praying for? Even with that, even if

  915. you don't give it to you.

  916. Though it tarries wait for it. At least go back

  917. and pray a.

  918. Couple more times, because Lord, I didn't hear you this time. God,

  919. I'm unfor sure. But in the midst of some of

  920. us losing fire, what we do again. We stop praying,

  921. we stop seeking, we stop pressing.

  922. Delay doesn't mean destroying you.

  923. Delay is revealing you, because if you can take it

  924. and make it through the delay, it reveals who you

  925. really are. Because I'm not waiting on somebody else, I'm

  926. waiting on the Lord. I'm not going ahead of God,

  927. but I'm waiting on God to show me which way

  928. to go.

  929. Part of my.

  930. Prayer is always, Lord, you be a lamping to my

  931. footsteps and the light until my past show me the

  932. way to go. I don't know which way to go.

  933. I'm dealing with my business right now. That's been in

  934. business for eighteen years. I don't know where it's going.

  935. So my prayer has been to the Lord. Lord, you

  936. got to show me which way to go. You showed

  937. me this, because if you don't show me which way

  938. to go, I.

  939. Don't know which way to go.

  940. And if I go where I think I should go,

  941. I might it might not be you. It might not

  942. end up being beneficial to me because you're not a

  943. part of it.

  944. But if you're.

  945. All can't survive the delay, it won't sustain you in

  946. the moment. You're all is what helps you to survive

  947. the delay, and sustaining comes from God. And even God

  948. is a part of our all. So there's some preparation

  949. again that we have to do. My last points takes

  950. us to You must be prepared before the door is closed.

  951. It's a must be prepared. It is adamant that you

  952. be prepared. If without preparation, you're not gonna make it in.

  953. That's how this parable ends. When the cry came to

  954. the When the cry came, the foolish realized that they

  955. were not ready.

  956. How many of us are not ready?

  957. That should be a question now if we ask ourselves daily,

  958. Lord if i'm because if I'm not ready, God, help

  959. me to get ready. That's the thing about God. We

  960. have a spirit, his spirit that lives inside of us.

  961. The Holy Spirit is as real and as living as anything.

  962. Holy Spirit, help me to get ready.

  963. I don't want to be left behind. But not only

  964. do I not want to be left behind, it's some

  965. people I don't want to leave behind.

  966. So me getting ready.

  967. Can I also have to do with the people that

  968. I witness, to the people that I share Jesus with,

  969. the people that I allowed to see God's light in me,

  970. Because sometimes they say, that's all they need is the light.

  971. Let your light so shine before man, every man, that

  972. they would see of God, they would see of your

  973. good works, but they would glorify God because they know

  974. it's not you. They have an understanding that that's God.

  975. While they went by, all the bridegroom came and the

  976. door was shut. They came later saying, Lord Lord, open

  977. to us, but it was too late. We live in

  978. a time where people think that they can wait till

  979. it's too late. We have a bunch of procrastinators. I'm

  980. asking the Lord to help me with that right now.

  981. I always say the first sign of getting help us

  982. to admit where we are, and that a lot of

  983. people won't admit where they are, because to admit where

  984. you are might mean you ain't all there, you ain't

  985. got it all together. But God never caused us to procrastinate.

  986. The Bible says the procrastination is like a sin. When

  987. you study procrastination, why because you saying you can put

  988. out today what you can do tomorrow, And you don't

  989. even know if I promise you tomorrow. They don't even

  990. know if you're gonna make it to tomorrow. So why

  991. put out tomorrow to tomorrow?

  992. What you can do today? Take that time?

  993. Why and use it wisely? Spend that time with me

  994. while we getting to know everybody on TV, every TV show.

  995. I don't watch a lot of TV, so it's only

  996. a few that I know. But when I hear people

  997. talk about all the different TV shows, you watch all

  998. the TV shows, you know everybody to play football, you

  999. know everybody to play basketball, you know everybody that's on

1000. the pricess right, whatever the show may be, you donna

  1001. spend time with them.

1002. How much time have you spent with the Lord?

1003. Not so that I can memorize this word, because that

1004. was my fault in the beginning. I felt like I

1005. had to memorize everything that was in the marble. Yeah

  1006. I can't bill Jack Moore. Yeah I try administer. I

1007. can't build Jack mo that's that man's gift. Call out

1008. them scriptures like that. But the more that I can

1009. spend time in the word, the more that the word

1010. can wash me, the more that I can spend time

1011. in the Word. The more the word can purge me,

1012. the more it can cleanse me, the more it can

1013. give me an enlightenment of.

1014. Who God really is. The more I get to know

1015. ourb Father because he is the Word.

1016. So as a world that's thinking we got to have

1017. everything when we want it, we be then missed out

1018. on what really matters the most, because when I leave,

1019. I won't get to take no TV shows.

  1020. None of those.

1021. Sports people are gonna go with me, y'all. I love

1022. the cook used to so I take that back, thank you,

1023. Holy Spirit. I used to love to watch the cooking shows.

1024. They're not going with me.

1025. It's not beneficial that I even have them. All those

1026. TV shows, the Millionaire showeder where they're going by the hair,

1027. that was my shows. So it's okay now to take

1028. a break from those every now and then to spend

1029. some time with the Lord. Still was too late for

1030. the five foolish Angels because of their procrastination. This text

1031. teaches us that something teaches us something very different.

1032. It teaches us the word there is a deadline to readiness.

1033. You can't borrow all. It teaches us that you can't

1034. rush preparation. Either it might take more for you to

1035. be prepared. It might take you spending some hours in

1036. the world, it might take you spending some hours in prayer.

1037. It might take you a real three day fast. But

1038. that's your preparation. Don't rush it. You can't be reminded

1039. of missed opportunities. You won't ever get that back. If

1040. you missed that opportunity, you missed it. You can't go

1041. back and get it. But those are opportunities that we

1042. have before we missed them. It was the choices that

1043. we made. Late preparation is ineffective preparation. You don't get

1044. ready when he arrives. You must already be ready. Again,

1045. as the Lord gave us when we started that Bible study,

1046. it said get ready, stay ready, so.

  1047. We would be ready.

1048. And that was through spending time with God. And my

1049. conclusion that says that the ten the ten were invited,

1050. All ten were invited, all ten were waiting, but only

  1051. five were ready.

1052. And when the moment came.

1053. Readiness made the difference between enter and in or being

1054. shut out. Readiness made the difference between a celebration and

1055. a separation, because they was going to a celebration.

  1056. This was the bridegroom.

1057. They were headed to a big, nice, beautiful wedding, and

1058. because they were not ready, they were separated. It from that,

1059. many of us in the end will be separated. We

1060. won't get to make it in And so it's important

1061. that we understand that the final cause says, do I

1062. have all in my vessel? Am I prepared for the delay?

1063. And am I even ready right now?

1064. And not later? The reason that.

1065. This is a final call because that's questions that we

1066. can ask ourselves. Where am I at? I know me

1067. better than anybody, but I know where I'm at. God

1068. knows me better than I know myself. And even as

1069. I stated earlier, there are times when the Holy Spirit

1070. will bringing for a conviction and we won't even heed

1071. to it, whether the Holy Spirit tells us himself or

1072. whether he sends somebody to us.

1073. And we know just throughout scripture that there's many times.

1074. That God said, I spoke to it, and they wouldn't

1075. heed unto me even speaking to them.

1076. So then I send them prophets.

1077. In the Old Testament, they killed a lot of his

1078. prophets because they went forth and told them what God

1079. had said. I believe that we're in a time and

1080. the error where we should ask God to help us

1081. to be more sensitive and to the spirit, more sensitive

1082. to his convictions, so that will heed to his convictions.

1083. Because the thing that I love about my father the

1084. most is he would not leave me in a place

  1085. of ignorance.

1086. The Bible says that God wished.

1087. That all souls would be saved. He not overlooking us,

1088. He's not overlooking nobody else. We know what we're doing

1089. is wrong. We know when we're not putting enough effort

1090. into it. We know what we being lazy, we know

  1091. when we being procrastinated.

1092. It's just sometimes nobody wants to admit to it. And

  1093. the thing about.

1094. It is you don't have to admit it to nobody

1095. but yourself. I don't understand the damage of it, betting it,

  1096. but I admit where I am.

1097. So that God can help me get just a little

  1098. bit further.

1099. God didn't save me for me to stay in the

1100. same place, y'all. That should be a continuous growth, a

  1101. continuous maturity.

  1102. I think of.

1103. People when they always put the stairs walking up to Heaven.

1104. How about you put the stairs walking up to Jesus.

1105. Because the Bible says that the more that we mature,

1106. the more that we grow, our manifestation is will be

1107. just like Christ. Our whole character has to change in

1108. order for us to be just like Christ. How you

1109. still gonna be mean, hateful, ugly, talking crazy to people.

1110. And then say you Jesus right.

1111. But people only depicting Jesus when they say, well, he

1112. set with the sinners, he loved everybody, but not.

1113. Depicting Jesus when they're supposed to look like him.

1114. Because when Jesus sat with the sinners, he didn't set

1115. with the sinners and watch them saying. He sat with

1116. the sinners and gave him a word to bring them

1117. out they sin. When he said I love you, he said,

1118. I love you, but come out of your sin. A

1119. lot of us won't even tell people about their sin.

1120. Uh uh, because I don't want to judge. Nobody hedn't

  1121. called me to judge.

  1122. It ain't judgment. It's love. That's true.

1123. Love loved them enough to not leave them there, loved

1124. them enough to want them to go to heaven with you.

1125. Don't keep getting yourself ready, but you won't help them

  1126. get ready.

1127. All I'm gonna do is just sit with you.

1128. I'm not gonna tell you how much he loved you

1129. and how if you don't get it right, you won't

  1130. make it.

1131. In That's what the wise virgins. That's why they told them, Oh,

1132. I can't give you what I got. You gotta get

  1133. your own.

1134. So when you sit with them, you don't just sit

1135. there with them, you tell them you got to get

1136. your own. That's not judgment, that's love. I'm gonna say this,

1137. and then I'm really closing. I heard a woman on

1138. the other day and it came from just probably another parable.

1139. But there's people in hell, and why they're in hell.

1140. Jesus allows them to look up.

1141. When they look up and see that they're in hell,

1142. they see a heaven. When they look in heaven, they

1143. see all their friends, and they start saying, what help there?

1144. If they knew that there was another place to go,

1145. why didn't they tell me? You know, all this time

1146. you've been working towards heaven. And because of the difference. Again,

1147. there's nothing wrong with difference. There is two we have

1148. to go according to the word. There's the sinner and

1149. there's the same. Jesus came to die for our sinners.

1150. But everybody's not accepting his gift. So that's not judgmental.

1151. That's saying, baby, the same way that he saved me,

1152. the same way that he sobered me up, the same

1153. way that he picked me up out of the clay

1154. and placed my feet on the solid ground, I want

1155. that for you, the same way that he delivered me.

1156. I want him to deliver you. So they said they

1157. was looking up in their ASDs. Wow, did none of

  1158. them tell me?

1159. That should be a question as we go before people

1160. every day. I'm not saying that you got the constantly

1161. go with folks with the word of God because you don't. Again,

1162. by loving kindness, has God drawn them? I believe that's

1163. God joined them. But your loving kindness should say, hey,

1164. do you know the Lord? Or hey, if you don't

1165. know the Lord, do you want to know the Lord?

1166. And if they say no, that's fine. God don't force

1167. itself on nobody. I'm not telling you to go around

1168. and start snatching arms and saying, girl, you got to

1169. get saved. You need to be saved. We all need

1170. to be saved. But I'm saying you know something that

1171. they don't know. That's why the gospel is called the

1172. good News. It's good news that I don't have to

1173. die and go to Hell. And I might have been

1174. confused about that for a long time. I think I

1175. was thirty two thirty three when I got saved. Yeah,

1176. I've been saved now twenty three years, so it was

1177. a while before I knew they understood that good news.

1178. And I had people to come to me in witness.

1179. I don't think I ever went off on nobody, but

1180. I was not receiving of it. And for some of

1181. them they came back, some of them they didn't. But

1182. I thank God that that was a seed planet, because

1183. for every seed planet, one is watered and then God

1184. himself gets the increase. And here I am, I'm increased

1185. of those watered seeds. I had people to come to

1186. me and tell me about Jesus. I thank them that

1187. they wasn't ashamed, that they didn't feel like they was

1188. being judgmenttal tell me about me, Yeah, even though I.

  1189. Didn't like it.

1190. Just think if something, if they hadn't told you or

1191. hadn't told me. Just think if that person just praised

1192. when they pray, they pray for all sinners, if that

1193. person hadn't been praying, somebody was praying for me while

1194. somebody was out so witnessing to me, not letting me

1195. think that the life I was living was gonna get

1196. me with God. Because you know, nowadays, everybody going to hell,

  1197. i' meant to heaven.

1198. Everybody they mama going to heaven.

1199. And I'm not saying that I'm putting nobody in hell,

1200. but I'm saying that there's a place called Hell, and

1201. from what the Bible teaches me, it's enlarging itself daily.

  1202. I didn't say that God did.

1203. So if I know it's enlarging itself daily, then when

1204. we have an opportunity to witness to somebody that you

1205. don't have to go where is being enlarged, but you

1206. can go somewhere where God is gonna accept you with

1207. open arms, don't care about what you did, don't care

1208. about who you did it to, what you look like.

1209. Even the murderer has a chance to repent. So it's

1210. not for us to say who's going where, But it's

1211. for us that if we know, and we know somebody,

1212. and they could even be like the five Foolish Angels,

1213. they can be confessing salvation, but their outwards is showing

1214. something different. Then let your outward be different from theirs.

1215. Let them see that this is how true Christian acts,

1216. This is what the true Saint does. This is how

1217. we live, This is how we witness, This is how

1218. we talk. Because we have a way of talking about ourselves,

1219. we have a way of walking about ourselves. That's why

1220. it's important to come from among them and be you separated,

1221. because that gives them an opportunity to see a difference.

1222. If all the saints look like the world, that I

1223. would not even want to come to church. I could

1224. just stay in the world. But when we come to church,

1225. we want to see something different. So on today again,

1226. I just want to encourage you to get ready and

1227. stay ready so that you'll be ready
