  1. Almost sure. I didn't give my sister the media team

  2. my title, but the title of my message on this

  3. morning is his battle your faith. And if I had

  4. to have a subtitle for it, it will be replacing

  5. panic with faith. This morning I'm gonna be coming out

  6. of Second Chronicles twenty verses fifteen through seventeen. When you

  7. have the scripture, just say, hey, man, Second Chronicles twenty

  8. verses fifteen through seventeen. Everybody got it? Amen? Amen, y'all

  9. quiet today. Amen, Second Chronicles twenty verse fifteen through seventeen. Okay.

  10. And the scripture reads, and he said hearken ye all Judah,

  11. and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehosaphat. Thus

  12. said the Lord unto you. Be not afraid nor dismayed

  13. by reason of this great multitude. For the battle is

  14. not yours, but God's tomorrow. Go ye down against them. Behold,

  15. they come up by the cliff of Ziz, and ye

  16. shall find them at the end of the brook, before

  17. the wilderness of j jer Ye shall not need to

  18. fight in this battle. Set yourselves stand ye still and

  19. see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah

  20. and Jerusalem, fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow, go out

  21. against them, for the Lord will be with you. Amen. Amen,

  22. y'all can be seated, You may be seated. All right,

  23. let's get into some meet y'all again. The title of

  24. my message is his Battle your Faith, and my subtitle

  25. is replacing panic with faith. A little background on this story.

  26. We're talking about King Jehosaphat. Now, King Jehosaphat is like

  27. most of us, right, he had true faith for God.

  28. He loved the Lord. He ran a kingdom and he

  29. loved the Lord, and he wanted everybody under him, under

  30. his leadership to have the fear of the Lord. That's

  31. what he wanted, and so that's how he ran his kingdom.

  32. Not all of the kings back then done that. It

  33. was a lot for Jehosaphat that were running the kingdom wrong.

  34. So when Jehoseph fact got in play, he loved the

  35. Lord and he honored the commandment. So that's how he

  36. ran the kingdom. Well, Jehosaphat, like most other people, you know,

  37. he had made some bad decisions. You know, he got

  38. in bed and entangled hisself with some people who didn't

  39. even love the Lord, with some sinners with some wicked folks,

  40. and he laid down and he played with us. You know,

  41. he entangled his self with him. And even though God

  42. was sending word to Jehosaphat to tell him, hey, this

  43. is not where I need you to be. These are

  44. not the people who I need you to be affiliating

  45. yourself with, he still, like most of us, made his

  46. own choice in decision and said, but I'm gonna hang

  47. out with them anyway. Even though this ain't the crowd

  48. that I'm supposed to be with. He went hung out

  49. with him anyway. But even instill him making those choices

  50. and decisions, the reason he had so much faith in

  51. God is because God always kept him. God kept him.

  52. God showed himself faithful to King Jehosaphat. Now, when we

  53. get to verse twenty and this, I'm sorry to chapter

  54. twenty and this, and we get to verse fifteen, what's

  55. being told to Jehosaphat is a prophecy from one of

  56. the members of his congregation. See, it was rumors that, hey, man,

  57. even though things been going good for you, Jehosaphat, it's

  58. some trouble brewing somewhere. Y'all ever had that moment in

  59. your life where everything seemed to be going real good

  60. and real perfect. You know what I'm saying, everything going

  61. smooth sailing, ain't nothing going wrong, and then bam, out

  62. the blue, it's like problem, problem, problem problem, And you're

  63. saying to yourself, Man, I'm doing everything right. What's going on? Well,

  64. this is where Jehosaphat is at this moment, right, So

  65. this morning, I'm gonna give you three points that I

  66. would like to I have three points that I would

  67. like to give you to encourage you and to help

  68. you to replace your panic in the midst of the

  69. battle with faith. See, everybody's gonna go through battles, that's inevitable.

  70. But God, because God says in his word that trials

  71. and tribulations will come. Well, if you're facing trials and tribulations,

  72. that mean it's a battle somewhere you're gonna face it. It's inevitable.

  73. We can't avoid those things. They're gonna happen. Well, we

  74. have to learn how to conduct ourselves in the midst

  75. of the battle. So I got three points that's gonna

  76. help you learn to conduct yourself if you already don't

  77. know how, and if you do high five and kudos

  78. to you, because guess what this word was for me? Baby,

  79. because I be struggling. I struggle when the battles come.

  80. I mean, I'm good before they come because I'm like

  81. team Jesus, Team Jesus, you know what I'm saying. And

  82. then in battles hit and I'm like, what is that?

  83. What is that? I don't know nothing about this level

  84. of faith because I ain't been here yet. Right, all right,

  85. So my first key point that I would like to

  86. give you is surrendering contry. In the midst of the battle,

  87. Verse fifteen tells us that the battle is not yours,

  88. The battle is not yours. Can y'all say that the

  89. battle is not yours? This ain't your fight, This ain't

  90. your fight. When we were younger, it's four of us.

  91. It's four siblings, two older brothers, two younger sisters. My

  92. sister probably can't remember this because she's the baby. One

  93. time we got into it with a group of kids

  94. when we first moved to Slaton, Texas from New Mexico. Right,

  95. but these kids didn't know us. We didn't know these kids.

  96. But what we did know was they was picking on

  97. the baby. They were picking on her. So my two

  98. big brothers told them little kids leave alone. They didn't

  99. pick on me, they didn't pick on Duffy, they didn't

  100. pick on Brandon, but they decided to pick on her. Now,

  101. it wasn't Duffy and Brandon's battle, but they was gonna fight.

  102. They was gonna fight. And in the midst of the battle,

  103. when they was fighting for her, her faith said, stand

  104. here and watch because I believe in them. Even though

  105. this ain't thay battle. I believe in my brothers, and

  106. I believe they got my back. This ain't my fight.

  107. It's not for me to jump in and start swinging.

  108. I'm gonna let them do what they do. Sometimes we

  109. get ahead of ourselves, y'all, and stuff start happening, and

  110. we be like, oh Lord, let me gonna give you

  111. some help. Jesus, he don't need that from us. He

  112. don't need us at all. He don't need not even

  113. an opinion of what we think should be done. He

  114. don't even want us to say. But now he don't

  115. need that because it's not your battle. The first thing

  116. that King jehosaphat done once he was informed that there

  117. were three armies coming against him and that there was

  118. a battle bruin like everybody else, he became afraid because

  119. it's something happening and I don't know why it's happening,

  120. and I ain't did nothing for this to happen. I

  121. ain't mess with them people. Why they over here bothering me?

  122. Why they bothering me? So now I'm scared because it's

  123. not one on one, it's three on one. So natural,

  124. Oh man, I'm scared. But what his fear did. His

  125. fear led him to seek the Lord in fasting and

  126. in prayer. And that's exactly what we should allow our

  127. fear to do for us, because sometimes things are gonna

  128. happen that's gonna cause us a little fear, like I

  129. ain't got no money for nothing in my rent do well?

  130. You know your baby's got to have somewhere to lay

  131. they head. So yeah, yeah, that's gonna shake you up

  132. a little bit. But that shouldn't shake you up to

  133. the point where you coward. That should shake you up

  134. to the point where you follow on your knees and say, God,

  135. this is what I need from you because I'm going

  136. through something. That's what your fear should do. Your fear

  137. should allow you to surrender your control to know. This

  138. ain't my battle. God. I can't do this. I wasn't

  139. prepared for this. I don't know how I'm gonna get

  140. through this. So guess what, God, you got it. This

  141. s your fight. Now, this s your fight. I'm gonna

  142. surrender that. Throw your hands up, rave your right flag

  143. because this ain't your fight no more. Philippians for six

  144. through seven says, do not be anxious about anything, but

  145. in everything, by prayer and supplication with don't forget that

  146. part with thanksgiving. Not just come to me in a

  147. wooistan spirit, but he said, by prayer and supplication with

  148. they have to go hand in hand. Don't just come

  149. to me crying saying I need this, I need this,

  150. I need this. Come to me and say, God, this

  151. is the issue that I have, this is what's going on.

  152. This is what's troubling me. But I thank you because

  153. you're good. I know that you can fix it. I

  154. know that you will work it out for my good.

  155. Not just God, shower down the gift because I need

  156. it thanksgiving. Let your request be made known to God.

  157. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will

  158. guard your heart and your minds. In Christ Jesus now again,

  159. Jehosaphat couldn't understand why these three armies were targeting him

  160. because he hadn't done nothing to these three. He ain't

  161. done nothing to them. But all of a sudden, y'all

  162. picking on me now, y'all picking See sometimes we've done

  163. nothing like Job, right, y'all read the book of Job. See.

  164. Job hadn't done nothing to nobody. He was just sitting

  165. in there, minding this business, raising his kids, praying for him,

  166. praying for the people, being a good steward over what

  167. God had gave him. And here comes Satan upthir in heaven.

  168. Don't mind me, I'm paraphrasing. Oh God, I'm bored. Ain't

  169. got nothing to do. I'm just going around seeing who

  170. I can pick on what you got? And God say,

  171. what have you tried my servant? Job? Have you tried him?

  172. Because what I do know about him is he faithful. Sometimes, y'all,

  173. we don't have to be doing absolutely anything for the

  174. battles to arise in our life. But because God might

  175. want to temperature check your faith, things might pop up

  176. out of nowhere. He might want to just temperature you sometimes,

  177. so stuff start popping up because he might want to

  178. see how you gonna react. You gonna bend, or you're

  179. gonna fold, or you're gonna stand your ground and have

  180. faith in God, who you keep saying you got faith

  181. in when it's all good and everything is perfect, because

  182. you got total faith in Him when it ain't nothing happening.

  183. But when it gets shady, and it gets shifty and

  184. stuff started looking funny, people start talking about you and

  185. acting weird, and your money get all funny, your jobs

  186. start tripping, your card on work no more, your husband tripping,

  187. your kids act like they ain't got no sense where

  188. your faith at? Can he temperature check you on that?

  189. Are you gonna surrender that to him when it all

  190. started acting bad? Or you're gonna be like, nah, I

  191. know what to do, because that's what he don't want

  192. you to do, is say no, I got it, because

  193. if you got it, what you need him for? If

  194. you got it what you need him for, hey, ma'am,

  195. So for some of us again, one thing can happen

  196. on Monday, right, So Monday you go to work, your

  197. car and missed up. Now your car is stuck at

  198. your job because in an overheated right, that's Monday. Tuesday,

  199. it's a double whammy. Your lights off and you got

  200. fired because you ain't got no car. Remember, because your

  201. car was acting up on Monday. So Tuesday your lights

  202. got cut off and you ain't got no job and

  203. you don't have a car. So now, on Monday though,

  204. when your car was messed up, you was like, okay, God,

  205. let me make my request and supplications now to you.

  206. My car is messed up. If you could just you know,

  207. help me to get through, even if somebody can't give

  208. me a ride, I would appreciate it because you're so gracious,

  209. and you so good, and you so merciful to me. Right,

  210. you let your requests be made known. That's what the

  211. Bible say for you to do. Well, Tuesday happened, then

  212. you got hit with that double whammy. Now it's a

  213. three on one attack because you ain't got no car,

  214. you ain't got no lights, and you ain't got no job. Well,

  215. if I could be honest, even for myself, us the flesh,

  216. You're looking up at God like what you doing it? Like?

  217. What is that? What is that?

  218. Like?

  219. Ain't no way, ain't no way? This the God I

  220. served you done took my car Now I ain't got

  221. no lights and I can't even pay the light bill

  222. if I wanted to, cause they get them fired me

  223. from my job. I'm a pig, you know what I'm saying.

  224. So now you ain't at the position of where you're

  225. on your knees making your prayer and requesting supplications known

  226. to God. Now you like, how can I rob Peter

  227. to pay pow Who can I go to the scam

  228. out of something so I can get them to fix

  229. my car on the lolo. I ain't gotta pay for it,

  230. cause I ain't got no money, no way, you know

  231. what I'm saying. So let me go on back to

  232. my little waige because I used to have somebody I

  233. can call all they'll come do a little something strange.

  234. You know what I'm saying. You back to that now,

  235. you back looking at yourself, ask how can I move

  236. this mountain on my own? Not? How can I surrender

  237. all of this to God and allow him to work?

  238. And how is this going to work in my favor? Now?

  239. You self advocating for yourself, and the whole time you

  240. done read the Bible and you done heart, this is

  241. not your battle. This is not your battle. But it

  242. looked like your battle because you're looking at it. Because

  243. you're looking at it, so you're thinking, I gotta do something.

  244. And the whole time, God is waiting on you to

  245. surrender your total control so that he can move and

  246. do what he needs to do because he does not

  247. need our help. He does not need your help, am'am.

  248. Psarums fifty five and twenty two says, cast your burdens

  249. upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee. He shall

  250. never suffer the righteous to be moved. That's a promise,

  251. shall mean, I promise you, I promise I'm not gonna

  252. let nothing move you, baby. If them lights off, I

  253. promise I'm gonna sustain you if you don't have your

  254. card work, and I promise I'm gonna sustain you if

  255. that job don't hire you back. He promises that he

  256. will sustain you. And it may not look like what

  257. we think it should look like when he's sustaining us,

  258. because we don't see through his lenses. We see through

  259. all us, so it may not look like what we

  260. think it should look like. But when he say shall,

  261. that's a promise he gonna come through and he gonna

  262. do what he say he gonna do. But where your

  263. faith at? Where your faith a Because you gotta have

  264. faith in you gotta believe in trust that when he

  265. said I'm gonna do it, baby, he gonna do it. Amen. Amen.

  266. Now my second point that I want to make is

  267. in the battle, you have to learn how to stand

  268. firm verse seventeen. In Verse seventeen, God tells them, ye

  269. shall not need to fight in this battle. Set yourselves

  270. stand ye still. Set yourselves and stand ye still. All

  271. he said was what you don't have to do. The

  272. only thing he said you do not have to do

  273. is fight. But what he did tell you to do,

  274. because he did tell you to do something. He said,

  275. set yourselves stand ye still. God never once told Jehosaphat

  276. in his army to just sit at home, don't do nothing.

  277. I don't show up, don't go to the battlefield. Just

  278. sit there and I take care of it from here.

  279. He never said that what he was calling for them

  280. to do was to show up, show up on the

  281. front line of the battlefield, hold your ground with confidence,

  282. with faith, and with belief that God was going to

  283. show up. And when he showed up, he was gonna

  284. show out cause he'll big God, he don't do nothing. Smile.

  285. He wanted them to have a front row seat to

  286. the God show. God going to show out. But I

  287. need you to be there because I need you to

  288. see it. I need you to understand who I am

  289. and that when I give you my word, baby, I

  290. want you to see it and fruition. I don't just

  291. want you to hear it. God wants you to see it.

  292. So in the battle. It's not for us to just

  293. I'm just gonna I ain't gonna do nothing. I ain't

  294. got no job. But you ain't put in no applications

  295. in three months. You ain't gonna never get a job.

  296. You're just waiting on them to just drop it off

  297. on you. You just gonna sit there with nothing nothing.

  298. He never causes us to sit down and do nothing.

  299. He says, stan firm. And when he says stan firm

  300. and be still, hold your position in faith, hold your

  301. position in me. You ought to be on your knees.

  302. You ought to be on your face somewhere. You ought

  303. to be on your face. You ought to be crying

  304. out every day until you see it. He said, show

  305. up to the battlefield, show up to the front line.

  306. The front line of the battlefield is right there at

  307. the foot, right there, at his feet. Show up right there,

  308. show up right there, and you don't stop showing up

  309. until you see him show out. That's what God say,

  310. you don't start. I'm showing up to my throne because

  311. he says, you come to the throne, and you come

  312. to it boldly, boldly, unashamed, unashamed. If I'm ugly crime

  313. for nine days, oh well, I'm ugly crime for nine

  314. days because I need something from you, God. I need

  315. you to show up for me. I need you to

  316. turn this thing around. My marriage is in shambles. I

  317. need you to fix it because I can't fix it.

  318. My kids acting up and I don't know what to

  319. do with them, and I can't do it. So I

  320. need you to do it. So if I got to

  321. lay on my belly for nine days crying out to you,

  322. that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna stand firm on

  323. what I believe in. What I do believe is that

  324. you are the God who said you will go before me.

  325. So if you are going before me, you better believe

  326. I'm on the battlefield, because if I'm on the front line,

  327. you in front of me. You in front of me.

  328. Who I'm scared of? If he be for me, who

  329. who can be against me? If he be for me,

  330. I mean, who can be against me? Ain't nobody else

  331. in front of me but him? Can't nobody defeat him.

  332. He is an undefeated god. He don't say, sit down

  333. on your butt till you get bad swords. Maybe get

  334. up on your knees until they hurt. But when you

  335. on them knees, baby, things is working. Things are working.

  336. And if your knees get too tired, like I said,

  337. lay down, prostrate on your face, lay down on your face,

  338. and let them tears hit that floor. Because the one

  339. thing that the word does say is I hear the

  340. cries of my people. Even if you can't say no words.

  341. He didn't call you to sit and do nothing. Cry.

  342. If that's all you can cry, go to the battle

  343. line and cry. Just go there and cry, because he said,

  344. I even hear your cries. He holds our tears in

  345. his hands. He don't want you to be sitting back

  346. there like he can't fix it. He wants you to

  347. know that. You know that, you know I can't do it.

  348. But I got a god who can. I got a

  349. God that I serve who gonna show up for me.

  350. And when he show up for me, y'all, he gonna

  351. show out. He gonna show out. So I'm gonna go

  352. to the battlefield and I'm gonna stand firm. I'm gonna

  353. go to that job every day where they talk about

  354. me and they dog me behind my back, and I'm

  355. gonna stand up for I'm gonna just stand there. I'm

  356. gonna go every day and I'm gonna face it, and

  357. I'm gonna face it, not with them, not for them,

  358. but I'm gonna face it with God and for God

  359. and with my faith. I'm gonna stand firm on that.

  360. That's what God tell us to do. He say, go

  361. set yourselves and stand ye still. First Corinthians sixteen and

  362. thirteen says it reminds to be on your guard, stand

  363. firm in the faith, be courageous, and be strong. It's

  364. hard to stand firm if you do not have total

  365. trust and dependency in God. And Matthew chapter thirteen and

  366. chapter eighteen, verse three. Jesus told his followers to become

  367. like little children. What he meant when he said that

  368. was to learn to embrace humble, dependency, simple and unquestionable

  369. trust in him. Have a conversation with my kids a

  370. couple weeks ago, and they asked me something, and I said,

  371. I don't know. Why do y'all keep asking me all

  372. these questions? Like I got all the answers, And Malanico

  373. said you do, and I said, no, I don't. He said, yeah,

  374. you do, because you're my mama. And I said, just

  375. because I'm your mama, don't mean I got all the answers.

  376. I can't fix everything, Malacotta. He say, yes, you can,

  377. because you my mama. And I said, but I can't.

  378. He said, yeah, you can't. He said, you know, like

  379. whenever I get like boo boo's on my hands and stuff,

  380. when you kiss them, they better well see, I know,

  381. they don't make the booboo better. But for him, because

  382. he got unquestionable faith in his mama, I could do everything, y'all,

  383. like everything, I got all the answers. Why because his

  384. child like faith says whatever I don't know, my mama

  385. know it. Whatever I can't do, my mama could do it.

  386. Whatever my mom says, I believe it. He don't know

  387. if I'm lying to him, I can tell him that

  388. I don't know, and he's still gonna tell me, Yeah,

  389. you do, because I'm his mama, And that's childlike faith.

  390. That's how we should see God, because he is Abbah Father,

  391. yes Father. Everything that we don't know, he know whatever

  392. we need. He can fix it. Even if we don't

  393. think that he really know it. He know it, you

  394. know what I'm saying. Like that little boo boo we

  395. got when our car broke down and we was like, Lord,

  396. we will know. We gonna he know because he daddy.

  397. He wants us to trust him that much like we

  398. trust Mama and daddy because he daddy, like he for

  399. real father. He is really Abba father, the same trust

  400. that that those babies that us even as kids. Let

  401. me tell you, I'm a daddy's girl. I'm a daddy's

  402. girl to my core. I didn't grow up with my daddy,

  403. but I'm still a daddy's girl. You get my drift.

  404. My daddy was on crack majority of my life. My

  405. mom was a single mom. I'm still a daddy's girl.

  406. Even when my daddy said I'm coming and he didn't come.

  407. Guess what, I was still a daddy's girl. I believe

  408. my daddy. At the end of the day, nothing could

  409. not make me have the childlike faith to believe anything

  410. anyone said about my father, even when I seen him

  411. in the stages of doing what he done. That was

  412. my daddy. That wasn't no crackhead to me. That's my daddy.

  413. And I was proud of my daddy. Childlike faith. It

  414. was unquestionable, the love that I had for him, the

  415. trust that I had in him, was unquestionable. God wants

  416. us to stand so firm that we never question it,

  417. that we never have a thought to say. But if

  418. you don't like you, can you really do this? Are

  419. you gonna do it? If it doesn't happen in the

  420. time that you don't expect it to happen, That don't

  421. mean it ain't gonna happen where your faith at, where

  422. your trust that. Like I said a while ago, everything

  423. ain't gonna look like what we think it should look like.

  424. It's not. But do that mean that God ain't gonna

  425. move like he said he was gonna move, not at all.

  426. That just means he moving on his own time. He

  427. moving on his own time, and he won't to see

  428. if you trust him when it don't look like what

  429. you think is gonna look like. Amen. Amen, uh oh, okay,

  430. there we go again. God knows, and he already knew

  431. that everybody will face battles. That's why he also encourages

  432. us in Ephesians six ten in verses ten through eighteen,

  433. to put on the whole armor of God, the whole armor,

  434. not part of it. He said, you need to be

  435. fully suited and booted. See again, he didn't tell Jehosaphat

  436. in his army to go home, and I got this

  437. on my own. He said, go to the front line. Well,

  438. if you go into the front line, you still need

  439. your armorron because you in battle. You just ain't gotta work.

  440. But you need your armor on because they still shoot

  441. darts even if you at the back and war right,

  442. they have the front line go first, even if you

  443. at the back, if you ain't got your armorron, and

  444. you on the fifth row and they shoot and there

  445. you baby, you good as God, you dad, because you

  446. just showed up unprepared. So God says, be prepared. Put

  447. on the whole armor, because you're gonna stand on that battlefield.

  448. Ain't no way you're gonna get away from not being

  449. on the battlefield. All I'm telling you is I'm gonna

  450. fight for you, but you gonna You're gonna be on

  451. the battlefield. I'm gonna fight because it's my battle, but

  452. you got to show up. So when you show up,

  453. I've given you a list of armory that you need,

  454. So get suited and booted because you come into the

  455. battlefield with me. Not only did he tell us to

  456. put on the whole armor of God, but the Word

  457. also says to us when we stand firm on the

  458. front line. The Word says, the Lord himself goes before you,

  459. he will be with you. He will never leave you,

  460. nor forsake you. That's dude, Romedy thirty one and eight.

  461. It also says, do not fear, for I am with you.

  462. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I

  463. will strengthen you. I will uphold you with my righteous

  464. right hand. And that's out of Isaiah forty one and six. See,

  465. God gives us these promises to let us know you're

  466. finna go through some stuff. Now it's my battle. I'm

  467. gonna fight it for you because this battle ain't yours.

  468. But you gonna come stand on the front line with me,

  469. and don't be scared when you on the front line,

  470. because I've already given you some promises to let you know.

  471. You ain't out here by yourself. You might not see me,

  472. but I'm here. You might not see me, but I'm

  473. holding you up. You might not see me, but I

  474. got your hand. You might not see me, but I'm

  475. going before you. You might not even see me when

  476. I go before you. But guess what his word also say,

  477. I'm gonna come up from behind. He's giving you what

  478. you need to encourage you to say. Baby, stand firm

  479. and hold your ground. Can't nothing shake you When I'm

  480. for you. I got you. Hold what you got. Be

  481. still and know that I am God, because that's who

  482. I am. And if I said it, I mean it. Amen. Now,

  483. My last and final point is knowing how to activate

  484. your faith in the battle. See, it's useless to have

  485. faith if you don't activate it. What's the point of it.

  486. That's like having a car you don't never drive. It's like,

  487. what's the point, Like I don't understand that. You know,

  488. people like collect my mama, she got like a lot

  489. of stuff at the house. Like me and my kids,

  490. they young and they already know Like if we need

  491. some stuff. She got like a lot of stuff, like

  492. six coffee makers, faux ice machines, like me and them grandkids,

  493. like we know, like if we don't have it, she

  494. gonna go to Amazon as soon as they put an

  495. Amazon Prime sell on and she gonna order it and

  496. buy another one even though she got four of them.

  497. So we gonna get it anyway. You know, she don't

  498. use it, She just puts stuff in the store. Shit,

  499. you know what I'm saying, Like, you just got stuff

  500. everywhere you don't use. So what's the point of faith

  501. if it's never activated? Just to say you have it?

  502. Because what good does it do you to have it

  503. and never activate it? It's wasteful. Why would you waste that?

  504. Why would you waste that? Of all things? Faith, your

  505. faith can do what God says. Faith moves what mountain? Man,

  506. you got something small as a mustard seed that can

  507. move a what. And it's small as a what and

  508. it can move a what. See that don't even add up,

  509. like the math and mathing when you think about that

  510. in real life. It's like it's a musta seed in

  511. a mountain Like that don't even make sense. You can't

  512. find the must to seed if you go to the mountain,

  513. because it's that small. So the math ain't mathing. But

  514. God is God. So the math math to God and

  515. he say, I'm gonna just need you to have that much.

  516. You can't even see it. You can't see it. But

  517. if you have that much of it and you put

  518. it to good use, oh man, when you put it

  519. to use, baby, you can do above and beyond anything.

  520. Once you put that little bit, I can't even see

  521. y'all when I look through it. You can't see it.

  522. But you just need that much, and when you activate it,

  523. oh man, it'll change your whole life, It'll change your

  524. whole entire life. At the end of verse seventeen, God

  525. gives King Jehosaphad and his people some assurance. He says

  526. to them, go out against them, for the Lord will

  527. be with you. Those last six words were all King

  528. Jehosaphat needed to hear to activate his faith. When your

  529. faith is activated and you begin to remember who you

  530. are and who's you are, who goes before you, it

  531. begins to make your soul happy. It make you bubble

  532. up on the inside. You know what I'm saying, Because

  533. sometimes we can get so down by looking at the

  534. circumstances and situations in front of us, that we forget

  535. who we belong to. And when you start forgetting that

  536. if God be for me, who can be against me?

  537. Depression starts to sit in, worry start to take over.

  538. Doubt is your best friend. Because you no longer remember

  539. that you just needed this much, just that, just that

  540. could have took away all of that other stuff. You

  541. begin to praise him and thank him for the victory

  542. ahead of the wind. You stop looking at the armies

  543. and the troubles that are surrounding you, all the battles

  544. that are coming from left and right, and you begin

  545. to zone in on the hills from with comage your help.

  546. Six words, six words the Lord will be with you.

  547. Those six words, if you allow it, will completely change

  548. your mindset of how you look at any and everything

  549. that you go through. Because what he has promised you

  550. number one, was that this battle not your is no way.

  551. Number two, what he said to you is all I

  552. need you to do is show up and stand still

  553. and watch me work. And then he said to you,

  554. just to give you some little assurance, because you know

  555. we I'll still be a little like Okay, as you coming,

  556. he said, I'm gonna be with you, don't worry about it.

  557. If I said I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm gonna be there,

  558. I'm coming. Well, the Bible say he is not a

  559. man that he should lie, nor that he shall repent.

  560. So if the word says the Lord will be with you,

  561. he coming because he can't lie. He can't lie. He

  562. can only hold his self accountable to his word. He

  563. don't have to hold his self accountable to you. He

  564. has to hold his self accountable to his word. His

  565. word six words, the Lord will be with you means

  566. I got your back. You don't have to worry about

  567. what you're going through. You don't got to keep thinking

  568. about what you can do. You don't need playing a

  569. B or C. For me. Sometimes it's like ABCDE and

  570. like F Sometimes it get like to It just depends

  571. on the circumstance. But I'm just being honest. Sometimes I

  572. got a lot of backup plans I do before I

  573. finally be like girl, you the child of the most,

  574. How you better chill out? He don't even you know

  575. what I'm saying. He like a one hitter quitter. He

  576. don't need an a b C d EFG type plan.

  577. He hits you with a one quick wonder. That's it.

  578. That's that's what he hits you with. He don't he

  579. don't need you to have all of them plans, because

  580. sometimes all of those plans that we may distort the

  581. plan that he has for us, because then we move

  582. in our own way, we move into our own way,

  583. and he can't do what he needs to do because

  584. we're standing in our own way. He can't work if

  585. we keep putting ourself in the position that he's supposed

  586. to be in, which is this is his battle, not yours.

  587. Get out the miss. All he needs you to do

  588. is stand there and watch, watch, and pray. That's what

  589. he needs you to do. He don't need you to move.

  590. He don't need you to make a plan. He don't

  591. need you to write nothing down in your tablet and say,

  592. after tomorrow, we're gonna try this one if the other

  593. one don't work, and then that that don't work, we'll

  594. try this on Thursday. He don't need none of that

  595. from you. He don't. He just needs you to trust him.

  596. He needs you to trust him and believe that when

  597. he says the Lord will be with you. You say,

  598. I trust you, Lord, and I wait for you to

  599. show up. And even if it takes longer than what

  600. I expected to take, I'll wait for you to show up.

  601. Because what the word says is you go from glory

  602. to glory and faith to faith. You can't ever get

  603. to the next faith if you don't use that little

  604. bitty faith that you have in this battle. If you

  605. don't activate that faith here, you're not gonna have what

  606. it takes to get to the next battle because cause

  607. you didn't even use the faith that you had here

  608. and activated, he just needs you to use your faith.

  609. That's all he needs from you is his battle. He

  610. just needs your faith. That's it his battle, your faith.

  611. That's all he need from you. If you don't activate it,

  612. what he got to work with, he don't got nothing

  613. to work with. Because the more he keeps trying to

  614. move on your behalf and move on your behalf and

  615. move on your behalf, you keep saying, I don't see it,

  616. I don't see it, I don't see it. I don't

  617. see it. It ain't working in, ain't working in and

  618. working in ain't working. And the whole time it's really working,

  619. it's working you just choosing not to see it because

  620. you ain't activated your faith because you won't trust him.

  621. You won't trust him to be God. If you won't

  622. trust him to be God, you're never gonna see that

  623. he's moving in your life. You won't ever see. It's

  624. just gonna look like stuff. You'll never see that he's

  625. moving because you haven't fully trusted him. I'm sorry, I

  626. lost my place. Shot Okay, okay, So it's enough just

  627. hearing those six of the words the Lord will be

  628. with you, it's enough to just shout about. And I

  629. seriously mean that. I think when I was studying this scripture,

  630. like that was enough for me, y'all, because I've been

  631. going through some things and I hadn't activated my faith.

  632. I hadn't and I thought it was some other good

  633. stuff in here. And in my notes I had to

  634. put in red the Lord will be with you, because

  635. that's just simple words to me. When I you know,

  636. because I was, like I said, I'm honest, I'm human.

  637. I've been going through some stuff. I've been going through

  638. some stuff, and I really thought it was some stuff

  639. that I needed to fix on my own. I didn't

  640. know that wasn't my battle. That's why it ain't fixed.

  641. That's why I've been still going through it because I've

  642. been trying to fix it and it wasn't mine to

  643. fix it, wasn't my battle. So I prolonged God fixing

  644. it because I've been trying to fix it in my

  645. own way instead of reading the words the Lord will

  646. be with you. Man. That was enough for me to

  647. shout about. That was enough for me to get happy about.

  648. Because I'm not in this by myself like I thought

  649. I was in this by myself. I'm not in this

  650. by myself. I'm not alone, and I don't mean like

  651. other people. We was talking in Sunday School and I

  652. explained to some of them, Man, I always kind of

  653. been like a loaner. I ain't really been no into

  654. having friends type of person, even with my family, like man,

  655. I like to go out on my own. I've always

  656. been that. So coming to God for me, man, that

  657. give me comfort, That give me somebody who I know

  658. ain't gonna never leave me, somebody I can come to

  659. with everything. Everything. It ain't nothing I can't tell him,

  660. and everything I tell him is between me and him,

  661. me and him, me and him. I'm never by myself

  662. because it says the Lord will be with you. That's

  663. enough to shout about. It's enough for me to know

  664. that this ain't my fight. It's enough for me to

  665. know I can put my armor on, stand on the

  666. front line, watch God work show up big, and I

  667. ain't even got a bustle sweat, you know what I'm saying.

  668. I don't got to do nothing. It's enough for me

  669. to know that this is not no ordinary fight. This

  670. ain't no ordinary fight. See, I used to fight, so

  671. this ain't no ordinary fight. I'm used to fighting in

  672. a different type of way. Most of us probably is.

  673. Have you ever seen the difference between UFC fighting and boxing,

  674. total difference. Right. If you ever put a boxer up

  675. against a UFC fighter and they don't know UFC fighting,

  676. I'm gonna tell you right now, as soon as that

  677. boxer come out the ring, totally different fight, they gonna

  678. get knocked out. And let me tell you why, because see,

  679. they used to fighting a certain way. They used to

  680. only using them hands. They only know hands. They footwork

  681. is learning how to stand up on your feet and

  682. be quick. That's footwork in boxing. UFC fighters, right, they

  683. do a little different. See they don't just use their hands, baby,

  684. they use their feet. I'm finna conpal kick you dad

  685. in your chest and then put my legs around your

  686. neck and twist you up in a little pretzel thing

  687. and then like like that, you know what I'm saying.

  688. Like they do different stuff. So it's a different battle.

  689. It's a different battle. So then boxers they only coming

  690. out swinging one way, you know what I'm saying. And

  691. then they get in the battle with the UFC fighter

  692. and they out, you know, they ready as soon as

  693. they come out, conner, they get kicked in the chest.

  694. They don't know what to do. They wasn't expecting that.

  695. They didn't got the wind knocked out of them because

  696. they don't even know how to use they legs. They

  697. think they legs is only for standard a UFC fighter. Know,

  698. I'm getting muscle in my legs to take your head off. Well,

  699. that's the same thing with the enemy. See, he only

  700. expects us to fight one way, one way. He expects

  701. us to get stressed out, act the food, go crazy,

  702. go figure out how ma duty is on my own.

  703. And God is telling me, baby, we fight different over here,

  704. we fight different over her. When he said the Lord

  705. will be with you. Hey, So we're finna fight different.

  706. We ain't coming out swinging. We don't throw hands no more.

  707. When we fight. Now we say glory, We shout holy

  708. LOUI thank you Jesus, glory in your name, Oh God,

  709. I thank you God, Thank God, glory hot he Loujah,

  710. thank you Lord. See, the enemy don't know what to

  711. do with that. He don't know what to do with that.

  712. You on the battlefield, and you ain't throwing no door

  713. to me, because see that's what jehosahfect them did. God

  714. had them people to go to the battle line and

  715. start singing praise and worship.

  716. Don't they look crazy? They in a for real war, y'all.

  717. We in a for real war for our life. And

  718. God said, don't act no fool. We don't throw hands

  719. like that over here, not for the Lord. We don't

  720. confuse the end of me confusing because He wants you

  721. to show out. He wants you to act the fool.

  722. He wants you to start back cussing.

  723. Man. Look hery I used to cuss something serious. When

  724. my mama tell y'all, she used to cuss. I was

  725. her protege, baby, I was her protege. I learned that

  726. thing I knew from her. I would cuss you, smooth

  727. out you, yo, mama, and everybody you know, even if

  728. they were dead. It didn't bother me. I was just

  729. gonna cuss, just to cuss. The devil waiting on me

  730. to act the fool when I get mad. He waited

  731. on me to cuss somebody out. He waiting on me

  732. to get mad enough that I'm finna crying. I'm gonna

  733. go swing off on somebody, because that's the old men,

  734. that's how I used to fight. That's my fight. That's

  735. all I knew to do. I know, if you make

  736. me mad or if something don't go my way, I'm

  737. finna show up. I'm finna act the food, and I'm

  738. gonna flip over all these chairs in here because I'm mad,

  739. and Jesus says, but I'm gonna change all of that

  740. in you. I'm gonna create something new in you, and

  741. I'm gonna still allow you to fight. I'm just gonna

  742. teach you how to do it in a better way.

  743. But teach you how to do it in a better way.

  744. I'm gonna teach you how to fight on your knees.

  745. I'm gonna teach you how to come to the throne

  746. in prayer. I'm gonna teach you how to call on

  747. me instead of trying to go out there and do

  748. it on your own. I explained to them this morning

  749. in Sunday School. And I have no shame in saying it.

  750. I said to everybody I know, Baby, when I was

  751. in seeing I was good at it. I made sure

  752. I was good at it cause I like doing what

  753. I would doing. So now that I'm living Christ, Oh,

  754. I gotta make sure that I'm good at it because

  755. I like living the way I'm living. I like serving

  756. the way I serve. I like being blessed the way

  757. I am blessed. I love it. There is nothing better

  758. for me. If I could act the fool and my sin,

  759. why would I not at the fool for the Lord.

  760. I'm not gonna half step him, he said, Activate your faith,

  761. show up and show out. It don't matter who looking.

  762. I don't curve. Nobody think I'm crazy. All the people

  763. at my job know. All day long, Baby, that hole

  764. I work in laundry, I'm in a room by myself. Baby,

  765. that whole lounge room is filled with praise and worship

  766. and they know it. If I forget my headphones over, well,

  767. y'all listening praise and worship today, that's what y'all gonna

  768. listen to because that's that's the atmosphere that I like

  769. to be in. That's how I fight the enemy. And

  770. I'm gonna fight him all day long because i know

  771. I'm battling some stuff. I know it's some battles going on.

  772. So instead of me getting mad and being enraged and

  773. swinging like crazy, no, I'm just gonna praise him. I'm

  774. just gonna think him. I'm just gonna worship him. I'm

  775. gonna tell him how good he is. I'm a thanking

  776. for keeping me. I'm a thanking for saving me. I'm

  777. a thanking for delivering me. I'm a thank him for

  778. redeeming me. That's what I'm gonna do. That's what I'm

  779. gonna do. I'm gonna thank him repeatedly, over and over

  780. and over. The fight don't stop. The fight never stops.

  781. But if you want to win, after vate your faith,

  782. after vate your faith, and your faith says praise, y'all

  783. continuously be in my mouth, continuously, don't matter how I feel.

  784. Don't matter. If it don't look like what I think

  785. is the supposed to look like, don't matter if they

  786. talking about me, don't matter. If I don't got it,

  787. don't matter. If it ain't working like I want it

  788. to work. I'm still gonna say thank you you, Jesus,

  789. Thank you, Jesus, Thank you Jesus. It don't matter. I'm

  790. gonna praise him continuously, continuously, over and over and over.

  791. That's how you activate your faith. What is the point

  792. in having it if you're not gonna use it. There

  793. is no point in having it. Use what you have.

  794. He has filled you up with his word. Use it

  795. because it works for you, not against you. Sometimes we

  796. work against our own selves. God never works against us, y'all.

  797. He always works for us. If the Word says he

  798. can even make the bad work for our good. Why

  799. I'm not thinking, Because even when it looked bad, God,

  800. you turning it around for my good. So in the

  801. midst of the bad, Hallelujah and glory to your name. God.

  802. It don't look good right now, but I know it's

  803. gonna turn out for my good because you got faith

  804. on me. God, because you give me grace. God, because

  805. you just God, Thank you Lord, that everything is gonna

  806. turn around for my good because your word says that

  807. you would never leave me nor forsake me. So I

  808. know that you are gonna be with me. And if

  809. you are with me, then everything's working for my good.

  810. Thank you Jesus. We don't fight how we're used to fight,

  811. because we don't fight our own battles no more. When

  812. we went in the world, yeah, we fought them battles.

  813. We fought them battles. We fought them because we didn't

  814. know no better. We didn't know we had a Noah,

  815. but Father, we didn't know we had him. We didn't

  816. know we had somebody that had our back like he

  817. got our back. We didn't know we had somebody that

  818. was never gonna leave us nor forsake cause we didn't

  819. know something that we had a god like we have

  820. a God. We did not know. But now that we do,

  821. we don't have to stay stuck. We don't have to

  822. keep fighting how we fought. We don't have to keep

  823. talking how we talked. We don't have to keep moving

  824. how we moved. He has given us the opportunity to

  825. activate your mustard seed activated. He gonna beat her because

  826. it's his battle. He just needs you to show up

  827. with some faith. All of that panic and anxiety that

  828. you go through when the battles is coming and things

  829. start looking weird and funny and it ain't doing what

  830. you needed to do. That's not what God. He don't

  831. want you to see that. He wants you to look

  832. straight ahead, stay focused, and know that God will be

  833. with you. That's what he told them. Don't get in

  834. your own way because you want to move how you

  835. want to move. Don't get in your own way because

  836. you don't know how to activate your faith. If you

  837. are seeking God in everything, everything in your seeking, he

  838. gonna let you know what you need to do. And

  839. it's not gonna take nine different people coming to you

  840. saying God said do this, God said do that, God

  841. said do this, God said do that. Because some people

  842. wait for that, they oh, well, they said nothing to

  843. me the past. They ain't gave me a word yet

  844. you know the briphend ain't gave me a word. Yes,

  845. so I don't know what to do. You don't have

  846. to wait for that God to speak to you. This

  847. right here, I open it up for thirty am and

  848. He speaks to me. And he don't always say what

  849. I want him to say. And I'm just gonna be

  850. being honest. It ain't always what I want to hear,

  851. because it ain't always good. It ain't always patty Cake,

  852. sweet girl, you the bomb, it ain't always that. But

  853. he speak to me. This is his word. This is

  854. how we talk. If you need him to speak to you,

  855. it's in here. He'll talk to you. He'll tell you

  856. where to go. He'll tell you what to do. He'll

  857. tell you how to move, he'll tell you where to stand,

  858. he'll tell you where to sit. He will, he will.

  859. And guess what, even if you're in it and you

  860. feel like, oh, I don't even understand it this even

  861. say ask If you don't understand me, ask me, and

  862. I'll can help you to understand it. I'll help you.

  863. So even if you're reading and you like, nah, that

  864. can't be for me, asking, he'll till whether it's for

  865. you or not. He'll tell you, God, I'm going through

  866. a battle. What I need to do asking asking, But

  867. what you don't need to do is getting his way.

  868. That's what you don't need to do, because now you're

  869. prolonging some things. Now you're prolonging some things, and it's

  870. probably gonna be a process, because everything's a process. But

  871. God is decent and he is in order, and he's

  872. not gonna go out of his order just because you

  873. don't like it, just because it don't feel good to you.

  874. Mine just told you, ma'am, I'm going through some stuff,

  875. and baby, it don't feel good. And God keep telling

  876. me come back to the throne, and I'm like, I

  877. already been there and I was hon this a couple

  878. of days ago, and I told my husband, I just

  879. told God, I don't even I know I ain't pass

  880. the test. I don't want to pass it. I just

  881. you know, you know, sometimes in school you just like,

  882. I mean, when I was in college, I'm like, I

  883. just want to fail me out. You know, I don't care.

  884. I just want to fail, because sometimes you be in

  885. positions like that where your faith is so low You're like,

  886. I don't care if I ever passed this test. I

  887. don't care to pass this test. I just want to

  888. be out. Count me out. I'm done. That's where God

  889. say this much, give me that much, and then activate

  890. it and begin to go back to where you originally

  891. were before the tests came and start praising me and

  892. start seeking me and worshiping me, because victory is mine,

  893. says the Lord. If the victory is his, you're his.

  894. We in victory. That means we can't lose it. We

  895. can't lose. Learn to be in the battle without fighting

  896. the battle because it's his. But learn how to stand

  897. in it. Learn how to relinquish control over the situations

  898. in your lives while standing firm and trusting and believing

  899. God and activating your faith. Because when all three of

  900. those things come together, the battle becomes easy. Because then you,

  901. like jehosephad in his army, you're now standing on the

  902. front line doing praise and worship and you watching three

  903. armies kill themselves. Because that's what happened in this story.

  904. The three armies that were against them, they start taking

  905. each other out. They start taking each other out, just

  906. like that. God don't need you to do nothing, he said,

  907. come and watch me show out. And when they came

  908. to watch him show out, when they got there, one

  909. of the armies was already dead on the ground because

  910. they had already started flipping out their minds and killing

  911. each other. They thought they they were supposed to be

  912. fighting the hosaph at them, they start fighting each other.

  913. So when you activate all three of these points and

  914. you put them together, the battle is easy because now

  915. you just going to the front line to sit pretty

  916. and basking the blessings of the Lord. That's it. You

  917. just basking in the blessings of the Lord, and you're

  918. watching God show up and show up as he promised

  919. he would do for you. Hey man, that's all I

  920. got
