Sunday School, and I'm just like, look at him, all
-
of them in my message. And then I'm listening to y'all
-
give your testimonis.
-
And talk about all things that y'all have accomplished. You know,
-
I'm like y'all all of it in my message. So
-
here I am. And this this particular title is Father,
-
can you hear me?
-
Yeah?
-
Yeah, Father, can you hear me? And my subtitle is
-
I've heard your cry? But are you hearing my voice?
-
But have you heard my voice?
-
When it? Get it right? I'm a little country sometimes,
-
and so I'm coming from the Book of I'm coming
-
from the Book.
-
Of Song, Chapter thirteen, one and three.
-
Father, Say can you hear me?
-
Papa?
-
Can you hear me?
-
Shit?
-
Enough?
-
Okay?
-
And so David says, how long, oh Lord, will you.
-
Forget me forever? This is a human us?
-
How long will you hide your face from me? How
-
long must be? How long must.
-
I wrestle with my thoughts and every day.
-
Have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy
-
tremble over me? Look on me and answer, Oh Lord,
-
my God, give light to my eyes, or I will
-
sleep and death.
-
And so I'm gonna work that and I'm gonna read
-
a little further down here in a little bit, but.
-
I'm gonna pray. Really, Father, we thank you for right
-
this is when you play something. Father. We thank you
-
for this day.
-
We thank you for this opportunity to be able to
-
break bread with your people.
-
Lord God, let me say something that would change somebody's life.
-
Let me change something.
-
Let me say something that will change somebody's thinking.
-
Father God, let me say something so they understand. Father,
-
you hear their prayers. And so this is my prayers
-
up his name. Amen. Okay, they left me.
-
I'm gonna work, and he got here we go, and
-
so I'm gonna start right here.
-
Here.
-
For the last few months, I've had the opportunity of
-
being a part of the.
-
Brotherhood Prayer Line. The Brotherhood Prayer Line is a morning
-
call where all.
-
Of the brothers from this church and from a few
-
other churches that we fellowship with, we come together, We talk,
-
we pray, and we knew devotion every single day.
-
Every every day. I think, I think oversee. You called
-
me yesterday. It was early. He was early, he said, man.
-
I said, hey, I was in TJ gag. He said, Amen,
-
I was.
-
I was just trying to call you missed the prayer
-
line because you I'm Monday through Friday.
-
That looked like my schedule. And I said, man, you
-
pay attention to detail. I see, and it's crazy you
-
call me because I already had this in the works.
-
And so I said, okay, anformation once again.
-
And so with me being up on the prayer line,
-
what I've understood is I got connected with that group
-
with the prayer line because a few preachers.
-
A few teachers and a few leaders gave wise guidance
-
by saying.
-
Don't do ministry alone, don't walk this walk alone, don't
-
fight your own battles alone, don't carry if your burdens alone,
-
don't fight your life's challenges alone, and most of all,
-
don't prow and.
-
Say it alone. Wow. And so with that being said,
-
I understood, no matter who you are, what your titles.
-
Are, what your degrees are, what your advantages are, what
-
your education is, what your qualifications you have, what rewards accomplishments,
-
what your status is, your successes minister right, your ministry experiences,
-
your gift and talents, your ministry wrote, and also your
-
biblical teachings, your spiritual development or what kingdom impact we
-
have made.
-
Sometimes this stuff really don't even matter. It's because God
-
is not measuring us by any of that.
-
To be quite honest, in issue, he's looking at our heart.
-
He's looking at our heart.
-
He's looking at our heart to see if you can
-
see all obedience. He's looking at our heart to see
-
if you can see our characters. He's looking at our
-
heart to see if you can see our faithfulness.
-
He's looking at our heart to see if you can
-
see our willingness to follow him.
-
And most of all, he's at our heart to see
-
if our relationship.
-
Is right with him.
-
And So when I thought about that, and I said that,
-
and I said, man, you came to mind oversee, it
-
was kind of like, what is it to have all
-
of these qualifications, all of these degrees and.
-
All of these things. If I don't know God, Oh.
-
God, what is the boy? What?
-
What you know? What it's like?
-
And I heard, I heard the scripture.
-
I heard them preaching before they're gonna get me, Precia,
-
here we go Matthew.
-
Sixteen to twenty six. It's this, It is worthless to
-
have the whole world if you're gonna lose your home.
-
So, brothers and sisters, I understand now. We were never
-
meant to walk this journey of faith alone. We weren't
-
mental walk this faith this journey alone because God created
-
us to throw worship and served together.
-
To says we should not be. We should not be, We.
-
Shall not isolate ourselves from the Body of Christ because
-
we are stronger when we are connected together. We are
-
better together, serve better together, and become stronger again.
-
And we need people to celebrate with us and staying
-
with us in our struggles. And this is right here.
-
I thought about y'all. I thought about the elders of
-
the church right here.
-
We need to be around people who can hold us accountable,
-
challenge us, support us, correct us, sharpen us, and then
-
carriage us along the weather.
-
Are y'all in the house to they We may to
-
be around people who can hold us.
-
Accountable, challenge us, support us, correct us, sharpen us, and.
-
Encourage us along the way.
-
Right there, when I was putting that down, I said, man,
-
this beap right here.
-
I listened.
-
My father in law already put one of y'all in
-
the headlocked right now because you're not doing what it
-
is that God has told you to do.
-
He probably not. That was his wife head lock dohnny
-
my bad.
-
Well, but listen, I thought about it even the more.
-
And I remember when it was COVID and we was
-
in the house.
-
And it was ten of us, you remember them, the
-
ten of us in there.
-
And y'all was in a parking lot hunking that all
-
by man man, and it was still like, we still
-
got together. This kids gotta come together. And the Bible
-
says in the Book of Hebrews, chapter ten, y'all gotta
-
write that.
-
Now I'm gonna say that, yeah, yeah, yeah, we.
-
Gotta write that down in the book and Hebrews chapter ten.
-
This was verse twenty four and twenty five.
-
Let us consider one another in order to.
-
Stir up love and good book not mistaken the.
-
Simply of others together. In other words and other words, God.
-
Want us to encurriage one another.
-
Help each other, row in faith, and stay connected to
-
the Church and our not just these church walls.
-
Listen not to we are a church magazine. That's the
-
blood we coming back. But listen, we are the church.
-
We gotta stay connection to the church is I'm azaki
-
you are a church medica system. Whinister Wizards of Law
-
you want a church back on the back road.
-
You are a church. Cany y'all say that when we
-
are to church.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
-
And so we need each other, so we shouldn't stop
-
gathering together.
-
And so the message in.
-
Hebrews is very clear, Brother Toller, stop trying to do
-
what God.
-
Created us to do together by yourself. Look, I said
-
that my man. Somebody else should have put that.
-
Man right there.
-
Stop trying to do what God created us to do together.
-
We will never design. We will never design. We were
-
never created to do this a loon.
-
It's an applying example. Why my son said, Danny, but
-
if you don't preach, you gonna play. I said, man,
-
I don't know. Well, I gotta train them because I
-
was never I'm not gonna preach and place. I'm not
-
gonna speak your place. I'm not. I can't do all
-
of these things by myself.
-
But this, we are not designed or created to do
-
this the law, and so God places people around us
-
to challenge us, strengthen us, and help us.
-
Become who we are called to be.
-
Do you believe that you believe that right now.
-
Together we can together? We can so over time, me
-
being connected to the prayer line. What I found out
-
we go over time, me being connected to the prayer line.
-
The more I called in, the more.
-
And more I realized how familiar we are with each other.
-
Familiar meaning well.
-
Known, easily recognized, and closely acquainted.
-
That's on the prayer line.
-
We can't see each other facing, but we still are
-
very familiar.
-
With each other. We're well known, easily recognized.
-
And closely acquainted. And so a few things that I admire.
-
About our prayer life about I said, prayer What I
-
admire about it is.
-
The consistency of this brother And I just told y'all
-
oversee your car and try to feel with you. Hey,
-
wake up, man, you know what I'm saying. I know
-
you get up early, but wake up. It comes to
-
this prayer line, you know. So they are very consistent
-
with the prayer line. Yeah, yeah, you're very consistent. And
-
one of the things that I know, I know, my
-
wife knows, I'm not really great.
-
With names all the time.
-
I know all them brothers names on there too. I
-
know all their names. And one of the other things
-
that I know is ain't hot, that's humble, open and transparent.
-
And so they are humble.
-
They are honest some sorry, honest, open and transparent. They're
-
humble too.
-
But one of the things that I can appreciate being
-
around those men because my father wasn't always there in
-
my life. My father wasn't there, and that's all right.
-
I have my grandfather rest and soul. But I appreciate
-
how vulnerable these brothers are on the prayer line too.
-
The way that they opened up to each other.
-
I'm like, man, I can if they can open up
-
and stay some things.
-
Like that, man, I ain't got no choice but to
-
pull onto my son like that. Like, man, listen, they
-
ain't dealing with some things on this bread line, and
-
I see that I'm not going to when that's dealing
-
with certain things. They's so vulnerable, so real on the
-
prayer line. And I'm talking about this earlier in the morning.
-
You know what I'm saying that the way to get
-
your day started right, it's.
-
Always in your cut.
-
And also, hope they.
-
Don't run it back.
-
I don't even know.
-
Where that came from.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, And so I can appreciate how.
-
Vulnerable they are.
-
And then one other thing, the love they have for
-
each other is strong.
-
Is strong. Lady little more is strong.
-
It's so strong that I've come to love them just
-
white brothers, even though they quite a bit older than me.
-
I love them white brothers.
-
And so, like I said previously, one of the things
-
that you notice about I said, the prayer line.
-
There's a phone call. We can't see each other's faces.
-
We can't see each other's.
-
Faces, y'all remember this fort right here. We can't see
-
each other's faces, but I definitely can hear their voices.
-
I can hear their voices. Do you hear what I'm saying,
-
because now, y'all, I'm gonna.
-
Work the leader. I'm a musician. It's something about that sound.
-
It's something about that sound when when they've given their testimonies.
-
It's talking about that sound when we're talking about faith.
-
It's something about that sound when they praying. It's something
-
about that town. When I hear somebody really praying and
-
giving God thy all in that moment. Really, and I'm
-
talking about it early in the morning.
-
What she's doing up that.
-
Early praying like that, my brother, I'm talking about you know,
-
I'm hearing God early in the morning.
-
I'm talking about This is the prayer line.
-
And this is one of the things that I know
-
for sure.
-
It's because we are so familiar with each other, brother
-
saming we know for a.
-
Fact who's not on the line.
-
Why is this most of the time. Most of the
-
time we know exactly who it is.
-
Because we can't hear their voices. We can't hear their voices.
-
They their voices are very distinct.
-
Wonper you get on there, you.
-
Hear that, you call it, you put the number in,
-
it's gonna say, well, welcome to the.
-
Blah blah blah blah blah. You put the number in,
-
and then it's a.
-
Little deep that go through there, and then you they
-
all just say good morning. And when one one person
-
come in for the seven, be like man, good morning,
-
and he said the seven good morning.
-
Over to see him.
-
Yet on the.
-
Line, well good morning.
-
We know exactly who it is because we recognize our
-
voice off the note real quick?
-
Does God recognize nor voice when you call?
-
How old do you call? Walk the week?
-
Every y'all I need you Lord, every yell that.
-
No listen, does God recognize for you even call? And
-
so useally on the call. We got oversee you, brother
-
Sammy for the price.
-
We got uh brother Wimberley, got brother Tim.
-
Y'all know, he always asked the questions, bail, let me
-
ask you like it was this morning, you you know,
-
all of a sudden I was in the background.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Brother Blond, just the name a few
-
and then those are the ones that I see on
-
the weekly basis, and so it's kind of like, yeah,
-
you know, I know their voices or whatever. But then
-
we also got.
-
Like Apostle Kob. We got Pastor Mike Mike. They called
-
him Pastor Mike Mike. That's his brother.
-
It's supposed to be Mike Mike, but they called him
-
Pastor Mike Mike.
-
So I'm so familiar with them, I call him Mike
-
Mike anyway. So they speaking it into his listen, so
-
I'm like, I'm calling right along with them.
-
And then we also got Minister le chairs Phillis Lee.
-
Y'all know, Sheryl ain't Sherry husband.
-
You don't mean get on the line, be trying to
-
check us off? Hey man, what you lay vote?
-
Hey man?
-
If you wasn't get in the background votes, you ought
-
to say good morning or something like.
-
That, you know. And so that's that's just up on
-
their prayer line. And we also got a super superintendent Dickerson.
-
And the the thing is that those individuals, because.
-
They come to this house, I recognize their voice.
-
We trust him.
-
We trust him here in the house, we listen. We
-
let him stand right you let him stand right here
-
and preaching feet us. And so why not trust him
-
right there? Oh yeah, we be having Sister loved all
-
the line.
-
She'd be eavesdropping, but never mind, and she says she
-
don't mean dropping, but never mind. But to the point
-
I'm trying to make overall, not trying to introduce everybody
-
to be on there. But one of the things, there
-
is one brother. I've never met him before. I don't
-
think I have. I've never seen his face before. Like
-
if I see him in public, I wouldn't know who
-
he is. But if he faced something, if he's face something,
-
I'm like, oh no.
-
No, no, that's brother Elder Pastor Irving right there, that's
-
doctor Irvin right now.
-
And the thing is about it, I didn't I don't
-
have to see his face. He don't have to personally,
-
you know.
-
He don't.
-
I don't have to see any pencils. But there's something
-
about the sound that he makes when he speaks.
-
I know when somebody says something deep, when he say
-
that's good right there, I'm trying to tell you, he
-
will tell you that's good right there.
-
And so I.
-
Promise I don't have to see his face. But one
-
of the things that I.
-
Know that I personally know his voice.
-
And so when I find unique about your voice, what
-
I find so unique about your voice, What I find
-
unique about your.
-
Voice is that it reveals things that your face can
-
will and could hide. They didn't hear me, They didn't
-
hear me.
-
Where is so unique about your voice?
-
It reveals things that your face can will and could hide.
-
Y'all needs to speak saying y'all okay, okay.
-
They gonna make you work to say okay. So I
-
smile can hide pain. The faith says I'm okay, but
-
your voice says I'm tied. Your title says your titles.
-
Your titles be talking about those titles right now.
-
I'm struggling, that's what That's what you know. I'm sorry,
-
I'm reading here. Our titles can hide that are struggles.
-
I'm sorry. Our titles can hide our.
-
Struggles, but our faces are saying I'm strong, but our
-
voices are saying I really need some help.
-
Can hide brokenness. Our face is saying I made Our voice.
-
Is saying I'm fairly Maybe our reputation, y'all see me
-
on Facebook, I'll be smiling on ere. Yeah, y'all think
-
y'all that reputation that can hide the reality behind my life.
-
My faith. My face can faith I have faith. But
-
my voice might be saying I'm wrestling with that. But
-
the day is right here. But I'm understand as wall.
-
A position can hide a need, A high position can
-
hide a kneed. Your face is staying I'm here for everybody.
-
I'm here for everybody. But in the background, my voice
-
is saying, I really need somebody here with me.
-
I need somebody with you that time to be in.
-
The house with this man. But I heard your testimony.
-
I heard your testimony, and so yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
-
And so you don't have.
-
To see someone to know something that's going on.
-
And I know for a fact when my phone ring,
-
that phone call ring, and.
-
That live live me with that phone ring, and I
-
asked them with certain individuals.
-
Called the first thing I say, I tried my bestins
-
sound like your pastors, like you.
-
Know what you think you're gonna call my.
-
Phone and say it like that, you think you man,
-
Come on.
-
Man, like you know what I'm saying. I think it
-
was one.
-
Time one time one of the brothers called in.
-
We know, yeah, yeah, y'all, I wasn't he go into
-
the pread line and I can just imagine and now
-
I gotta be a act like father in love the
-
Hugh if he was laying and.
-
Being like listen, the pastors started.
-
Talking to him, he said, man, what's rowing to And
-
then you're your unbelief uncle, minister league.
-
Man, you better get up for your staff.
-
Man, come on, And so when we all you don't
-
remember that all yeah, yeah, we know your voices and
-
so you can't tell me.
-
You can come and tell me that you all good.
-
But we can hear it in your water. We can
-
hear it in your voice and something is wrong with you.
-
And matter of fact, when you take my hand.
-
When you come.
-
When I see certain individuals, it's kind of like, man,
-
listen to prayer for you. And some of y'all might
-
not even believe that we praying, but trust the belieue
-
on prayers for your matter of fact, sometimes I even
-
shoot our text messages.
-
Yeah, yeah, said, I was trying to get that suit
-
your text message just because for one be here together
-
and we a team. And so it's my duty forget
-
forgetting the title. It's my duty to say in we
-
a community and start.
-
You don't let me see uh here we go right here.
-
You don't have to see someone to know something is
-
going on. But the voice always revealed their heart. Your
-
voice always reveals your feelings. Your voice always feels your emotions.
-
Your voice always.
-
Reveals what's going on in your mind. Your voice always
-
lets you know that you that you're struggling. Your voice,
-
it always lets us know that you're skilled or something.
-
Your voice always lets us know that you got fa,
-
that you got faith. Your voice lets us know that
-
you being in with Paine.
-
Your voice, your voice, your voice, I'm talking about your voice.
-
Your voice is telling us that you have some thought.
-
Your voice is showing us your characters. Your voice is
-
suring your mother and guess what.
-
Your voice is showing us your relationship with God.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
So when you say when you tell me and I'm
-
gonna get back to this right here, when you tell
-
me that I'm gonna invite you to church, you might
-
see something. You might see the fly I'm sure to
-
fly with you or whatever, and you shunna send us
-
a message back and say, I gotta get myself together
-
before we come to church. Man. Look, that's you know
-
what I'm saying. This is the hospital. This is the
-
place that we're supposed to be. So you in isolation.
-
You in isolation.
-
Sure, sure you can deal with those problems yourself. But
-
now would you want to deal with all of those
-
problems yourself. You should come to the house. You can
-
come to the house where people like us believe you.
-
Just come to the house.
-
Let my sister out prays for you. That's let us
-
be wive it. Listen to me to pray for you.
-
You know what I'm saying. This is the house of prayer.
-
You know what I'm saying.
-
Let co pass and pray for you. Let somebody pray
-
for your touch and degree. But this is my question
-
right here.
-
The question is what's that question? Thank yourself for asking.
-
That's why you sound like on the prayer line again.
-
What does God hear when you were speaking? What does
-
God hear when you were speaking? In the book over here,
-
when I was speaking, David said.
-
How long?
-
How long? Lord, How long? Lord, will you forgive me forever?
-
I'm he talking to our guy like that? You know
-
what I'm saying?
-
He like you know what I'm saying? How long?
-
Yeah? This seller is hurt. It's so wrong, brother man,
-
you know what I'm saying?
-
How long?
-
When you hide your face from me? This was this
-
right here. I asked that question because David uh wasn't
-
just asking God, do you see me?
-
He was asking God? Do you hear this?
-
He was asking do you hear me? Father? Can you
-
hear me? David teaches us when he.
-
Couldn't see God's face, He's still lifted his voice when
-
he could not see God's face, He's still lifted his voice.
-
Me, y'all a catch it at a minute that you
-
know what, y'all catch it in a minute. When you
-
can't see God's face, you see up, you still gotta
-
lift your voice up. You still gotta put his guard
-
and with listen right here, when.
-
He couldn't understand while God was signing, because.
-
I said I didn't. I didn't have that problem before.
-
Listen.
-
When he couldn't understand why God was silent, he kept
-
on praying, He kept on talking, He kept on stinging.
-
He kept on prayer. This is the point that I
-
got in all camps. He kept on showing up, y'all sleep, He.
-
Kept on showing up. And then anybody that's gonna.
-
Keep on showing up?
-
Whoa that ship right now? Anybody this is gonna keep
-
on showing up. Anybody going keep on showing up.
-
Anybody go keeple showing up.
-
You a was showing up right now? It won't there.
-
I'm praying at my son, I'm training my plain, I'm
-
training all of these things.
-
I'm gonna keep all showing up. But my relationship with y'all,
-
it's not killed. Seeing his hands Bill, trusting his promise,
-
trusting his person, trusting his faithfulness, and trusting that he
-
is going to dous when he's saying he would.
-
Do you are you not? Can you trusting I'm gonna
-
do it? What he said? I said you want that,
-
I even said you want that out He will do it.
-
You gotta trust it God. But bet you want to
-
open your mouth. You're an old.
-
God's God's silence does not change who he is. Let
-
me repeat that back, because all was still shouting. God's
-
silence does not change who he is.
-
Tell your neighbor. That right here, Let it's your neighbor.
-
God's silence does not change who he is right here,
-
right there.
-
He's still gone, He's still God. He decided does not
-
mean he's asking.
-
That doesn't mean that he's not.
-
Gonna sow up. I remember the whole sense of faith.
-
He may not come, but it's always all the time,
-
and I be trust and believe that on today.
-
Do you believe that on today? Yeah?
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm talking about those other face. I
-
think the old the saints come when we're talking about Father.
-
Can't you hear me? The old?
-
The sensual saith?
-
Lord God, whatever you do, don't stop talking to me,
-
Lord God, whatever you do, don't let mine.
-
Don't let your voice become unfamiliar to me.
-
Whatever you do, Lord God, don't.
-
Let my spircumstance make me question your presence.
-
Whatever you do, Lord God, don't let.
-
My mistakes make me believe you stop calling my name.
-
Does anybody that anybody come cloud your pride? Do you
-
mean that right now? Yeah?
-
You ain't?
-
Here you go.
-
Davie was praying. This was a prayer. God is not offended.
-
This is going to be very carefully though. God is
-
not offended when we asked questions and he David was
-
asking questions right here, Lord, how long you know what
-
I'm saying? He was asking questions.
-
God is not offended by your tears, knowing your frustrations,
-
knowing your disappointments, knowing your fears.
-
I found that in the Book of Songs thirty four
-
and eighteen. The Lord is near the broken heart right here.
-
Josh is not offended when we admit we can't do
-
something that is taking Corinthians, Chapter twelve, verse five.
-
My grace is episti from my power. It is made
-
perfect in weakness.
-
God is not offended.
-
When we being honest in prayer? Is anybody honest when break?
-
Is anybody honest when he's breaks?
-
Lord, God, all of life? Right here, Lord God, this
-
is uncomforable to me.
-
Look now, I'm familiar, say Cord Brother Bruck. This feels
-
kind of strange.
-
Glad, I'm I'm comfortable.
-
This is the type place walk that anybody honest when
-
they broke.
-
He would break up, he would live up.
-
Listen to what I'm saying right now, he would rather
-
he's surprise of a.
-
Broken heart than the silence of our heart.
-
They're just walking away.
-
You would have lived.
-
Yeah, the cry of a broken heart person, the silence
-
of somebody walking away. I'll see you walking, walking out,
-
walking away. Listen, I'm looking all this. He's right in there,
-
something walking away. We need to make some pop pop.
-
They get there making out, but I don't open the
-
walk away. Don't give up God, because you walk give up?
-
He is Abel, Oh God.
-
David cried out. David cried out. David cried out, and
-
I'm gonna talk about that even tomorrow.
-
David cried out, and this him being realized with him
-
crying out. Sometimes life hurts so much that we can
-
all we can say is Father, Can you hear me?
-
Palla? Are you hearing me?
-
Father?
-
Are you there? Father? Are you gonna show up for
-
me this time? Holler?
-
I don't know it.
-
Come on, Mather, I mean, are you answering when I call?
-
Can you hear this?
-
Tyler?
-
Let me just let me turn this up a little bit. Father,
-
From where are you?
-
I think that's what we say sometimes in the world,
-
and it may not be you, but I'm no far
-
a man.
-
Has any me, but's curtains circumstance that come to test me.
-
Lord an are you dead. Listen, listen Now I'm gonna musician.
-
You gotta say of me these people I'm talking like that.
-
You know what I'm saying.
-
It's gonna. God invites us to bring him all pay.
-
God invites us to bring me on my tears. God
-
invites us to bring off us gracious. God invites us
-
to bring our disappointments. God invites us to bring off here.
-
God invites us.
-
To breathe on saying God, and.
-
Invite us to bleeve I said.
-
God invites us to bring oh a lot of issues,
-
Oh alright issues?
-
Oh al what mean mentally?
-
Immotional?
-
God? Oh you hope back your here? This pus like
-
y'all got into Can you put a poss on it?
-
Can you put a price on it?
-
Right now?
-
Look? God, preget.
-
No pot right now, No points on in the house.
-
Not to be hook to the Papa boice, no right now,
-
look God detail hell retail help Yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay.
-
Thank you talking coming to you in the house, sir,
-
Yeah yeah.
-
I mean you sir, and so right here, yeah yeah,
-
right here.
-
What I've learned about that prayer line is I don't
-
have to carry all of these things by myself. I
-
don't have to do it. We were talking Friday. We're
-
talking Friday Apostle.
-
Cola, and he said, man, listen, y'all go he got
-
that moving company, and he.
-
Said, man, some of the stuff I carry, I gotta
-
ask him, you know what you're doing. You know what
-
you're doing, what you're.
-
Carrying that you know and then they mess up. He
-
takes part of that chick. He asked him in advance,
-
and you know what you're doing. And I told you
-
there and I said, man, look, I has as none
-
of them brothers, so they know what they're doing.
-
I hear the sounds of their voices, and I can
-
understand some of the things that I'm going through in
-
this in this season they have went through to and
-
guess what they made it out, made it out, and
-
I need to mean like doctor Irvin and take notes,
-
take notes.
-
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
-
And so when I figured out even the most about
-
that I don't have to.
-
Carry these things by myself. David did not go through
-
everything by himself. All those there were moments when David
-
felt alone. All though there were moments when David felt alone.
-
All though there was moments he felt alone, there were
-
people all around him. He had Jonathan he was. He
-
had Jonathan he was, That was his covenant friend who
-
helped him and then carries him. He had his family
-
and supporters, He had the nation of Israel, you know
-
when he went to battle and all of that kind
-
of stuff.
-
And he had his.
-
Mighty Man who fall alongside with him his will. And
-
so he was not by himself. And so even with
-
that being said that even my most and people back
-
then wasn't by theirself. One of y'all keep isolating yourself, making.
-
It seem like you could do it by yourself.
-
You can't do it by yourself. You can, I think
-
sometimes we can, but it will long. How long it's
-
gonna take? Yeah, yeah, sometimes it along what we're gonna take.
-
And so right here be there, Uh let me see
-
we uh that's in the Book of Songs. That's where
-
he was admitting a whole lot of things.
-
And so I actually commit I commend David because listen
-
and you can talk real.
-
We oversee the day of a man. Yeah yeah, yeah,
-
So us is me and us as me and and
-
some of you men can tap here right there.
-
Some of uh, some things we don't want to admit
-
that we have challenges. We don't want to inmit it,
-
we have struggles. I want you to see me as
-
this what they call relative on the on the line,
-
mighty Joe, what they call him, mighty Joe.
-
And you know what I'm saying, I want you to
-
see me as mighty Joe. I want you to think
-
that I don't have struggles.
-
But I commend David because he was willing to admit,
-
to admit his weaknesses.
-
And even though that was a man, I listen and listen,
-
sat out to my mama, loved you.
-
But listen, are there any women in the house you
-
hear me? Is there any women in the house that
-
are willing to admit their weaknesses? It's because what I
-
come to realize is that sometimes what we are showing
-
that we or we get, gives God the opportunity to
-
show up. It gives the opportunity for them to work up.
-
We did not.
-
He did not hide behind his titles, He did not
-
hide behind his position, He did not hide behind his reputation.
-
He uh he was uh bro. He brought his real emotions.
-
He brought his real emotions over to God.
-
For a man, sometimes I can admit when we just
-
talked about that. It is hard for us to show
-
our emotions and sometimes for us sometimes we don't say
-
it out loud t J, but we feel for good.
-
Sometimes we don't tie that loud brother brother Sammy, but
-
we feel overwhelm. Sometimes we don't say it our loud.
-
Brother in law, but we don't understand what's happening around
-
us and by it. And David teaches us that weakness
-
is not found and admitting we're struggling.
-
It's found when hold on. David teaches us that weakness
-
is not.
-
Found and admitted we are not struggling, but it is
-
found when our weakness is really found.
-
When we act like we are stronger than what we
-
really are. And so instead of you acting like you're
-
struggling in what you really are, you ought to give
-
it to Jesus, you ought to come in to somebody else.
-
And it's kind of weird, not necessarily weird, but it's
-
kind of That's an easier said that done situation where
-
you want to just give it all the Jesus, but
-
give God, you give, put.
-
Your hand in Jesus's hand or whatever else like that.
-
But that's easier said than done sometimes it's because.
-
Sometimes we feel as if what I just heard the
-
title the Father is not hearing us. And I gotta
-
understand sometimes even for me, that I have to allow him.
-
Everything is done perfect in this time. He knows the
-
end we're going to beget it. You know, all of
-
this stuff was gonna take place even before I was born.
-
And so David was a.
-
Man after God's own mark. He was a man after
-
God's own mark. And not a man whoever, whoever, a
-
man whoever, never ever said that he didn't hurt.
-
But a man knows where to take his hurt. A
-
man knows where to take his hurt. And so what
-
I mean by that is the pigion on what it
-
is that I'm dealing with. I know that I can
-
go talk to my wife. Depending on what I'm dealing with,
-
I know I go talk to over. Still I called
-
you the other day.
-
When I'm dealing with certain things, I know that I
-
can call Colepa. So I know what I'm dealing with,
-
certain things, I can call Elver.
-
So the pigeon on what it is, you know who
-
it is that you can go to.
-
And I still find that interesting, even though the health
-
is there.
-
You sit in the isolation, and so and I think,
-
I think, even with this being said right here, a
-
closed mouth on gets.
-
There, and so you have to let it be. Let
-
your request know, let your requests know. So I started
-
this message talking about the prayer.
-
Line, but I have to be honest, I have never
-
known that other people were dealing with the same thing,
-
and some that I was dealing with sometimes hearing their voices.
-
There's men and women who love God. Listen. These are
-
men and women who keeps going up Sunday after Sunday
-
after Sunday after Sunday. They still deal with some of
-
the things that I dealt with or whatever, and they
-
have overcurment. But sometimes they sneak up and still trying
-
to get you, you know, and so love let me see,
-
let me miss shure. Okay, right here, it doesn't matter
-
any of our agents.
-
It doesn't matter how much wisdom they carry, and it
-
does not matter their position. Everyone has silent bowels that
-
nobody knows about.
-
Is can everybody can affess to that?
-
Right there, somebody's dealing with something that they that nobody
-
knows about.
-
And so the pressure to be okay when we show
-
up right here, it's not okay.
-
Feeling alone even when surrounded by people is not okay.
-
The pain of our past wounds, I got some of
-
those right there. Something is not okay. To fill some
-
of those things. The struggle to forgive that is not okay.
-
The battle with identity and word is not okay. The
-
fear of asking for help. You scared to ask somebody
-
for help, That's not okay. The need to be heard
-
and understood is not okay.
-
And so being having that need right there, understanding that
-
you can't be heard or understood, that's not okay for
-
you to feel like that when all you got to
-
do is get on your knees and pray.
-
It might not come as fast as you won't.
-
But he is on time.
-
And so while I was I'm trying to pronounce this
-
word right here, because when I was studying and I can't,
-
I found a big word. I fall man. It's like
-
this means it's called let me let me see it.
-
Here we go.
-
It's kind of looking look at pat eyes that it's
-
what's the right eyes? He don't trying to pronounce them here.
-
It is it's called elect old demioma. Yeah, y'all said that,
-
like me trying to serious tip of that word one
-
more time, elect Elect of Demioma.
-
Uh huh.
-
It's all been called emotional blinds.
-
It's all been called out the yeah, yeah, it's all
-
recalled emotional blindness.
-
And so with that emotional blindness right there, what that does.
-
And some people feel something deep inside, but they can't.
-
Describe with what they feeling.
-
And some people feel something deep inside but they can't
-
describe what they're feeling.
-
They know they're hurting, but they can't explain to hurt.
-
They know that they but they can't explain to hurt.
-
They know something that's wrong, but they can't explain whether
-
the hurt is coming from. Because some of us in
-
the church are dealing with spiritual spiritual version of spiritual
-
version of emotional blindness. Some of us are dealing with
-
that right there. And it might not you might not
-
be able to say that out loud. But sometimes when
-
you come to the church and you can't you hear
-
at the church, your body is here at the church,
-
but you can't participate because you know certain things.
-
Are going on at home and you can't.
-
You know, you got you got rent through, you got
-
all these things that are happening in your life.
-
But sometimes it's not necessarily any like a medical uh
-
what you call like a medical diagnosis or whatever else
-
like that, but the spiritual condition where.
-
The believers have become disconnected from what is happening inside.
-
Of them and what God may say to them.
-
And so what I mean by that is, even though
-
God has said He's calling me to these things, I
-
don't feel that it's because of what it is that
-
I'm going through.
-
I don't feel what it is that you know these
-
You said all of.
-
These great things about me, but I don't see all
-
of those things. And so technically I'm somewhat disconnected. I
-
can't show up because I'm somewhat disconnected.
-
And so with being disconnected oversea, I understood this even
-
the more because this deal.
-
With this message deal with me. First, of course, I
-
can't just show up on Sundays. I can't just throw
-
up on Sundays. I can't just throw up on Sundays. Y'all,
-
hear what I'm saying. You can't just throw up on Sundays.
-
You just can't come following me when you have some problems.
-
They just you know what I'm saying, You just can't
-
show up on Sundays.
-
And then when you slow up, you up here and
-
not telling y'all not to come, because Holly, y'all do
-
come down here on today, but you come with the
-
same problem over and over again, and you're not understanding
-
what's going on on the inside.
-
Is some of that stuff on the inside is spiritual blindness?
-
Or what emotional spiritual blindness? And so what if we
-
kept reading.
-
Down I was before I had even came, I said,
-
I was kind of upset because I was.
-
Like, Lord, this is gonna be like a twenty eight
-
twenty nine minutes little deal. And I said, man, Sister
-
Lam preached for like an hour.
-
You know what I'm saying.
-
But you know, I was like, Lord, it's all yeah,
-
you preaching for like an hour. But I was like, man,
-
that's all I got. But I do want you all to.
-
Know that y'all help me preached this serving on today
-
here in y'all testimonies on today.
-
Y'all help me preach the servant.
-
And so not everyone who cries emotionally is healthy. Not
-
everyone who praise knows they are actually feeling what David felt.
-
And so with others saying than that I don't think
-
there's many things. And I will not tell God like
-
man look or not bringing to the Father and say like, well, Father,
-
I'm dealing with this is week. Sometimes I do get
-
started and Patricia, let's it be gone, like, well, toll Love,
-
did you prayer?
-
Nah?
-
Girl, pray for me real quick. That's all BE trying
-
to say, And she I don't need prayer whatever. And
-
I'll be like, I'll go in the cloud in my
-
clouset and prayer whatever else like that.
-
But for the most part, what I'm trying to get
-
to at the end of this right here in verse five,
-
I didn't Athens.
-
But in verse five David actually came to himself.
-
David came to that verse five and six. Yeah, that's
-
verse five and six. He says, But I trusted, But
-
I trusted in your unfeeling love. My heart rejoices in
-
your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, or I
-
will sing to the Lord, for he is He has
-
been too.
-
He has been good to me. And so right there,
-
even though he might have not in that moment, what
-
he's saying is I trust you. That don't mean that
-
he said God might have still been silent. He might
-
have still not said anything.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, And.
-
So he said this is the part where our preacher
-
a little bit, and so right here, the father says.
-
Y'all gotta have it with this part. The father says,
-
you are the head, and not to tell. The father says,
-
I am those. The father says, I am fearfully and
-
wonderfully made.
-
This is this right here, This is right here, This
-
right here is declaring, and this is all the things
-
that I.
-
Know, and it's right here here in this book. The
-
father says, I am love. The father says I am
-
his child. The father says I am forgiving. The Father
-
says I am redeemed.
-
The father says I am more than a compuer up.
-
The father says, I am an overcomer.
-
The Father says, I am his workmanship.
-
The father says, I am a new creationist. Nobody needs
-
to be a new creation and forget.
-
About the past and comes right here for the future.
-
I am a new creation right here. I am not contealed,
-
That's what the father says.
-
The father says, I am scripting by him.
-
You are my stripp stripping like no other. The lover says,
-
I am never alone.
-
Somebody thought they was alone coming in the half this morning.
-
Somebody thought they're gonna be alone, going at home made all.
-
But the Father says, I am not alone.
-
The mother says, I am the soul of the urge.
-
The Father says, I am the light in this world.
-
The Father says, I am virtuous and through Christ. The
-
Father says, I create.
-
I am created with purpose. The Father says, I'm sitting
-
right there with Christ. And the earlier, the one that
-
you said, the Father says, won't not do much more.
-
That's where you travel, that's where he sat, won't not
-
do much more? Could you believe that you'll do much
-
more for him?
-
Right there?
-
You want to hoping, No, not right here, say I
-
want you to know, mother boy right.
-
There you out, Oh, don't have to think.
-
I want you to do much more.
-
Lord guys, he said, I am my head, and not
-
to say you said I am gonna and not for
-
thee you said, Papa God, that you'll love me.
-
Lord God, you stand up forgive lo God you have
-
received me. Mother God.
-
I been like over come up Lord God.
-
And I t you right there right there that this
-
for don I want to be existing what you call me?
-
I think this is not denial, Lord.
-
God, I'm thank you, and so right now, the Father
-
says you are great. Yeah yeah, No, father says you
-
are great. Anybody leave now is great?
-
Yeah yeah yeah. And so I thank God right here,
-
say I am I have.
-
Called according to God's purpose. I am an call according
-
to God's purpose. And the Father says, what do you say?
-
Probably will not do much more Romans eight twenty eight.
-
All things work together for those who love God, to
-
those who were called according to His purpose.
-
And so right there.
-
I don't know about any of you, but it seemed
-
like the china was Father, can you hear me? But
-
on the other side, what I have just given you
-
is everything that God has said about you. You have
-
forgot what Jesus you got what God has said about you.
-
He said that you ahead of and not to tell her.
-
Are you believing that she's not to have? Are you
-
believing that you gonna have? Are you believing not to tell?
-
Are you believing that you an left God and not
-
to all? Right that you want to believe some this?
-
Do you believe that you're gonna have that house?
-
When the position was like giving.
-
A testimony about us in our house. I just don't
-
even believe it, And so what did I do?
-
I looked at the room brush. My teacher, lug said,
-
going around that house.
-
We went around that house one time. We kept going
-
around that house for months, for months, not a few days.
-
Months.
-
It's because I believe that he was gonna do it.
-
Then they prophocide and said what they were gonna do.
-
They didn't prophesie and let us know.
-
In advance that it was gonna happen. All I had
-
to do was keep on walking.
-
Does anybody want to walk today? Does anybody want to
-
want today? Proba that abda he it right now?
-
You know it? Right here?
-
By? Can you hear me?
-
Pa?
-
Do so we open on that bright care?
-
Yeah?
-
Yeah, tell anybody they play He's gonna do it, won't
-
you do? By bore bad God? I thank you that is.
-
I really think I'll for this opportunity to be able
-
to come before you on today and be able to
-
bring forth what it is that I got. I was
-
quite hesitant, but.
-
I did it anyway because I said, man, look this
-
hat no forty five hour to have sermon, but y'all breach.
-
The sermon before the sermon was even preached.
-
And so what I want to say before I take
-
my seat is make sure that you always trust in God.
-
Trust God because he's able and he will not give
-
up on you. So do not give up on your
-
thank you
-
Mm hmm
