-
To surrender, which requires active submission, not passive agreement. And
-
even the song that I just sang, and the one
-
that you sang before then, and the ones that we
-
continue to sing, it's not as much as us singing yes,
-
as it is with us living yes.
-
And so on.
-
Today I will be coming from Luke nine fifty seven
-
and sixty fifty seven through sixty two, and again it
-
is my prayer that as I bring forth the word
-
that I believe the Lord has given to me to
-
share with you all, that this word would be.
-
Life changing for us. Amen, and so for all.
-
Of those that would and could if you could stand
-
for the reading of the word.
-
Amen, Amen. And the Word of God.
-
Says according to Luke nine and fifty seven. And it
-
came to pass that as they went in the way,
-
a certain man said, unto him, Lord, I will follow
-
thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said, unto him, foxes
-
have holes, and birds of the.
-
Air have nest.
-
But the son of Man hath not where to lay
-
his head. And he said, unto another, follow me. But
-
he said, Lord suffers me first to go and bury
-
my father.
-
Jesus said unto him, let the dead.
-
Bury their dead, but go thou and preach the Kingdom
-
of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee,
-
but let me first go bid them farewell, which are.
-
At home at my house.
-
And Jesus said, unto him, no man, having put his
-
hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for
-
the Kingdom of God. May God ad a blessing to
-
the reading, hearing, and understanding of his word. Again, my
-
theme is, and you can be seated in the presence
-
of the Lord. Amen is what does your yes say?
-
And because that's a question, that's a question.
-
For each and every last one of us, it's an
-
opportunity to self examine the yes is that we tend
-
to put out there. Again, I think sometimes we forget
-
the power that we have in our language. For the
-
Bible says the power of death and life is in
-
our tongue. And sometimes we speak without thinking, we speak
-
without realizing that what I'm saying could be bringing life
-
or death to something. And so again, a simple yes,
-
a simple yes is what some people call it because
-
it's one of little words yes, and it's either yes
-
or no.
-
Yeah.
-
But when I ask you a question, you don't have
-
to give me a long drawn out situation about it.
-
If it's a yes or no question, you just answer
-
yes or no. But that little small word carries a
-
lot of weight because once I've said yes to something,
-
then that means I'm accountable to what I said yes to,
-
and whoever I said yes to.
-
It's gonna be holding me accountable.
-
If I say that I'm gonna help you, you'll be
-
waiting on.
-
Me to come help you.
-
If I say that I'm gonna comb your hair, you're
-
gonna be waiting on me to comb your hair. Because
-
I said yes. I didn't say no, and I did
-
not say maybe.
-
I said yes. Yes.
-
It is an active submission word. It's intentional, it's energetic.
-
It has a behavior where the individual who has engaged
-
in that word should be a responsive individual. We're not
-
just passively complying to direct orders when we say yes,
-
because if we were passively complying to direct orders, whatever
-
they said we would do it, we wouldn't have the
-
opportunity to say yes or no. But we've just had
-
the opportunity to say yes. So when we say yes,
-
I thought about overseer.
-
More, how y'all always say up here, look at me,
-
look at me, and we be laughing about that. We
-
think that's cute. Look at look at me, look at me.
-
So when he say look at me, the majority of
-
the time we do what we look at him.
-
But we have an we can have an opportunity or
-
we have an option to say yes or no, but
-
we comply with it.
-
So that's that's passive.
-
But active means that I can say yes or no.
-
So when I say yes to something, I'm actively saying yes,
-
I'm gonna do this, and it's gonna take actions for
-
me to hold myself accountable.
-
To that yes that I said. And so again, the
-
song that I.
-
Started out with was Shirley Caesar's song because I like
-
that song. But you think about what Shirley is saying
-
in this song. She said, I'll say yes, Lord, yes to.
-
Yo will, now mine to God's will.
-
Not only is she gonna say yes to God's will,
-
but she's gonna say yes to the It's way, which
-
means that's not my way, that's his way.
-
I'll say, I will trust you and obey. So she's
-
saying yes to all of these things which has nothing
-
to do with her.
-
So when we say yes, Lord, God, is saying on today,
-
what does your yes really say? Does my yes say
-
I'm really gonna follow you? And again I came with
-
the action before, because if I'm saying yes, then that
-
means I'm gonna have to put action to that Yes.
-
If I say yes, I'm coming into work today, then
-
I get up out of my bed, I take my bath,
-
I do what I gotta do, but I make sure
-
I get to work. So if I said yes when
-
the Lord called me, I had a conversation with my
-
grandbaby this morning and she's fifteen fifteen, sixteen years old,
-
newly saved, and she say, now, I just feel like
-
God ain't there no more. I'm talking to him and
-
He's not listening to me. And so what do I do?
-
And I find a book to help me get closer
-
to God?
-
What do I do?
-
And so I explained, time spend with him. God is
-
a relationship God. He wants to spend quality time with you,
-
just like you want to hear him. And so what
-
I was after I explained that to her, what I
-
was telling us that we've already said yes, we said.
-
Yes when God called us, we didn't call God.
-
None of us got saved because Hey, I'm just ready
-
to get saved.
-
There was a drawing, and God.
-
Was drawing us not to him, and so when he
-
drew us not to him, we had the opportunity.
-
To say yes.
-
So if we've already said yes and committed to God,
-
I'm gonna be with you, then now.
-
The rest of our yes is have to line up
-
with that. We said yes, I no longer belonged to me.
-
I now belonged to you.
-
We said yes, I've been paid for with a price.
-
No longer on myself. We said yes to your will,
-
his will and his way. And then doing that, we
-
have put ourself in a place where there has to
-
be some actions behind that yes. So one of those
-
actions is taking time spending time with God in the word, praying,
-
talking to him. It doesn't have to be that you
-
have to always be on your knees to be praying.
-
We can walk and pray. We can walk in commune
-
with God. Surely put outline what she was saying and
-
said that she meant to do what she said?
-
How many of us? And today is the day not.
-
For you to ask your neighbor, but to ask yourself,
-
how am I committed to doing what I said I
-
was gonna do, and I committed to my yes, not
-
my yes to what I wanted to do, but my
-
yes to God. When God called me in and then
-
started giving me in on what to do, how to live,
-
how to grow, how to nurture, how to mature. So
-
many times, the reason that we can't grow and the
-
reason that we can't move forward is because we're not
-
adhering to the yes that we gave to God, but
-
we're adhering to the yes that we.
-
Gave to ourself.
-
Because with God's yes, there's always gonna come some difficulties.
-
There's always gonna come some crooked roads that you don't
-
want to go down, because God ain't just this straight
-
and narrow God, or you're gonna get it the way
-
that you want it. A man, Abraham was seventy five
-
when God called him out seventy five, and then he
-
called him away from his family. Where was you at
-
when God called you? What were you doing when God
-
called you? Seecause when he called us, he called us
-
out of something, and he called us out of it,
-
not because he was trying to take us away from something,
-
but because he was trying to give us.
-
Direction.
-
I'm gonna follow that way, and I'm gonna allow you
-
to leave me. And one of the things I was
-
telling my granddaughter this morning, I think the greatest thing
-
that God could have ever done was send his spirit,
-
because He never meant for us to do this alone.
-
Amen. Amen, I heard the word on last Sunday.
-
He send us some help, because that's some stuff that
-
we need some help in. But we also have help
-
inside of us. We have God's spirit that lives, moves,
-
and abides within us that not only helps us to
-
get to the destination that God.
-
Has called us to get to. But if I mess up,
-
Lady love More, He'll correct me. He'll get he'll check me,
-
he'll pour my shirt.
-
Tail, He'll help me get back in alignment with what
-
God has called me to do.
-
So.
-
But does my yes saying it's okay? Does my yes
-
to God say it's okay for you to check me today,
-
It's okay for you not to let me walk in sin.
-
It's okay for you not to let me walk in ignorance.
-
But it should When I say yes Lord, I'm saying
-
yes Lord, here I am.
-
We always say when you say yes, Lord, raise your hand.
-
What does that mean? That's a sign of surrenderings. When
-
you surrender. If you was in the army and y'all
-
was fighting and the enemy it came, and you surrender,
-
you just lost yourself.
-
You don't belong to you no more. You now belong
-
to them. We're looking at the war that's going on
-
right now.
-
After so many of them get taken over and and
-
say that, the U United States go in and they
-
kill a whole bunch of the Iranians, and then there's
-
something left behind and they say, okay, we surrender. Y'all
-
already got everybody else, and they say surrender.
-
They get up out of their space and they go
-
with the enemy.
-
Well, it's not for us to get up out of
-
our space and go with the enemy. But it's for
-
us to get up out of our space and go
-
with God, who can lead us away from the enemy.
-
And so what I'm saying, yes, what does my yessay?
-
My yes will be seen by my actions. I say
-
all the time. Actions speak loud of the words.
-
And a lot of people don't want to believe that.
-
But you are who you are. The Bible says, whatever's
-
in a man's heart, so is he. So what's coming
-
out of you is normally what's in you. So it's
-
important that when we say yes Lord, that we know
-
what we're saying yes to.
-
We need to remember them.
-
Our yes has to be an active yes, not a
-
passive one. Because we know how to sing yes, we
-
know how to shout yes. We even know how to
-
lift our hands up and say yes. But the question
-
today is that I'm asking you this morning, that God
-
is asking us this day, what does your yest say?
-
Is it easy to say yes when the music is playing,
-
when the atmosphere is good, when the blessings are rolling in,
-
and when everything is going your way, But as soon
-
as something happens, when Jesus asked you to follow him
-
into an uncomfortable place, is yo, yes?
-
Still yes?
-
I don't want to do that one. I don't want
-
to go over there. I know they asked me to
-
do it, but the biggest contrast worked smartlest word, but the.
-
Biggest contrast word.
-
But I know God said it, not even just because
-
I heard God say it, because you know, everybody hear
-
God nowadays. So sometimes we have to be careful with
-
that one. If it don't line up with the word,
-
it ain't God.
-
Yeah. So and that's even for you, because sometimes we
-
don't hear.
-
And I can always be honest about me. I have
-
to check myself sometimes.
-
I was going through a little thing last week and
-
I said, I thank God. I think it was ten
-
because I was.
-
Telling her, I say, Man, for every little thing that
-
popped up, God gave me a scripture to show me
-
that it was him, because sometimes it can be us,
-
and sometimes because it's us.
-
We think we know everything. So it's right.
-
You know, I got three bachelor's degrees and or whatever
-
the case may be. I haven't been to college four times,
-
so I know I got this one right now. You're
-
wrong because that ain't what God said. If it don't
-
line up with the word, it's not God. And so,
-
and we want to make sure that we're not so
-
comfortable with being and doing what we want that every
-
time God does say something, it feels uncomfortable because if
-
I know God, then I know God gonna put.
-
Me in some uncomfortable situations.
-
If I know God, like I said, Abraham seventy five,
-
come from among your family. He's taking him somewhere, and
-
he don't know where he's going. He just know that
-
God has called him to go, so he follows.
-
Isn't that what the majority of us do when we
-
get saved? Here, I am.
-
Lord, and then we start singing those songs, even if
-
we're wording them.
-
Have your way in me, use me for your glory.
-
I know. I'm good with that.
-
And then when something bad happen, I'll be like Lord,
-
but I ask him to use me. I'm reminded because
-
using him for your glory might not feel good. That
-
might mean you're gonna be broken disgusted for a little while.
-
God will use you while you broken, disgusted, and then
-
when he blessed.
-
You with more than enough, now you can say, hey, God, this.
-
He just used you for his glory.
-
You sink down in your body, but you trusting and
-
believing in God the whole time. You see it, the
-
whole time you're going through you telling them my arm
-
by Jesus strife from hell.
-
Now God got me, No, God that went before me.
-
But you still sick, and you real real ugly, and God,
-
I don't feel good. But this is how He's using
-
you so that he can get some glory out of
-
your life for him. Then he picked you up and
-
he bring you out and you shouting hallelujah. Look what
-
God did. You just brought some glory to him.
-
But sometimes we don't want to do that.
-
You put yourself in a mess, and God say I'm
-
to leave you here for right now. You know, he
-
said he gonna leave you there, But you don't want
-
to be there. You're fighting that. You're fighting against it.
-
He saying, wait on me, be patient. But you said, yes, Lord,
-
yes to your will and to your way. But the
-
whole time you there, you're kicking against the prick. You're
-
fighting against what God is saying. You're fighting against what
-
he's doing.
-
He said, just pray, be patient, just wait upon me.
-
You can't even wait.
-
You steady trying to fix the situation and work it
-
out for yourself. What is that telling you about your
-
yes to God? What does that say when you won't
-
even wait on him patiently wait on him? And so
-
when we do, when we say yes, it's important that
-
we remember what that yes is gonna cause or call
-
us to do. Loop nine gives this text describes what
-
nine we're gonna Fifty seven. This text describes a few
-
encounters that Jesus had with some.
-
Would be followers. Would be He had his twelve. They
-
don't win.
-
And they done fed with the fish and the two
-
loaves of bread. And now they got some more followers,
-
and and he's sending them out his trying to train him.
-
And he gets here to verse fifty seven, and here's
-
some more would be followers. And so they made a
-
show of wanting to be his disciples. That's what we
-
should be doing. But we should be being his disciples.
-
Amen.
-
That's part of getting saved, that's part of coming in.
-
So if he's gonna use us, we got to have
-
a yes. If he asked us to go to the
-
outermost or to.
-
The outermost, we got to have a yes.
-
He's using us where his disciples.
-
So the disciples come to an end and they weren't
-
willing to make the commitment. Yes, says I'm committed. If
-
you tell me yes, I'm gonna believe that you're gonna
-
do it.
-
And I believe it until you showed me that you're not.
-
And then if you show me that you're not for me,
-
that's a hard one for me because it starts to
-
bring mistrust to me. I don't know if I can
-
trust that individual. Because they said they would and they didn't.
-
But I thank God for God because he knows the future.
-
So sometimes he'll just keep pushing and tugging at you
-
and pulling at you. But God's go here was not
-
to just give them salvation, but it's also about their discipleship.
-
He doesn't just want you to show up for church
-
on Sunday, but he wants you to show up and
-
be visible throughout the rest of the week.
-
That's discipleship.
-
So if I said yes, Lord, to your willing, to
-
your way, then I should always be doing something according
-
to what God has called me to do. I should
-
be witnessing, I should be sharing, I should be loving people.
-
I should be helping people. There's so much for us
-
to do that holds up to our yes. Your yes
-
wasn't just hey, Lord, save me, send me to heaven.
-
Now You're yes was here. I am do with me
-
what you see fit. Remember, we don't even belong to
-
ourselves anymore. If you don't belong to you and you
-
belong to Him, why you doing what you want to
-
do with you? This body is the temple of the
-
Holy Ghost. He lives within us, So wherever we go,
-
we're taking him. Whatever we do. He knows it. He
-
sees it. God sees it beforehand. But now we got
-
the Holy Spirit and we're taking him into these situations
-
and circumstances with us. And thank God again, the Holy
-
Spirit will bring forth conviction. So when you're not walking
-
according to what God has taught you to walk to,
-
you gonna get a tub. Hey remember what you said? Yeah,
-
you told him that you would Remember you told God
-
you would go.
-
Why didn't you go?
-
They all just went yeah, because I heard people all
-
the time. Uh, I ain't going, not me. They got enough,
-
They don't need me. It was two of them. They
-
don't need a third leg. No, we need that third leg.
-
So but Luke.
-
Gives us the account of three examples of people who
-
talked the good game but were unwilling to get up
-
off the bench. I promise you I'm not a good
-
best player. So if you're on my team, please don't
-
sit on the bench. We need you, and that's in
-
our honesty.
-
We need you.
-
How can we have a team and everybody want to
-
sit on the bench.
-
Do nobody want to get up and play?
-
And eventually those that are in the game gonna get tired.
-
We're not immortal. Somebody has the substitute.
-
If you said yes, Lord, you told him when you
-
come into the kingdom, you got me, that gave him
-
high fire. Here you go, Lord, you got me. I'm
-
in this thing. What you need me to do, where
-
you need me to go? And then as soon as
-
somebody asked you to go or to do something, it's
-
completely different.
-
Why because you see that as a man.
-
You don't see that as a man that God will use,
-
you know, the God that the people of God said,
-
don't talk to us no more, No speak to us.
-
To Moses. Oh you too much for us. We can't
-
handle that. Speak to us Moses.
-
So he's still speaking to us today through man. So
-
our leader, because I'm talking to VIP, our leader asked
-
us to do something and we can't do it. Because
-
our leader asked us to do it, he still got
-
two legs.
-
Won't he do it?
-
He still know how to drive, won't he do it?
-
I know he know how to sweep. Won't he do it?
-
Because that's what he's saying. What is your yes?
-
Say? It's your yes to him, but it's also your
-
yes to.
-
The kingdom, to kingdom work, to kingdom duties. What did
-
Jesus tell him.
-
It was about the kingdom, had nothing to do with
-
with just Jesus. They wanted to follow Jesus just to
-
follow Jesus. Jesus was a popular god at.
-
This time, so we want to follow you because more
-
than likely you can bring us some popularity. But Jesus said,
-
this ain't about me. This is kingdom work. I ain't
-
even here to be popular. I'm here to do what
-
my father called me to do, and what my father
-
called me to do. If y'all don't see it, it's uncomfortable.
-
So he told the first.
-
Man, he said, I'll follow you wherever you go. And
-
Jesus wanted him to.
-
Know that foxes don't have holes, birds don't have nests,
-
and neither does the son of man have anywhere to live. Hey,
-
you want to follow me. I don't even have a house.
-
You think I'm popular. People want to kill me, but
-
you want to follow me. You living to lose your
-
life for following me? You sure you want to follow me?
-
And I like the way that Jesus put that out there,
-
because he puts that out there for us, because some
-
of us gonna be crucified for Christ. Some are gonna
-
be martyred for Christ. Some are gonna be really cruel
-
christ I see Christians to get mad because people talking
-
about them. Come on, now, make that makes sense. Somebody
-
said something about you, and you mad because I'm a
-
Christian and they said they were talking about me.
-
Your skin ain't.
-
Tougher than that you wanted Jesus disciples, I'm just saying,
-
you got power and authority from heaven, and you hurt
-
because somebody said something about you.
-
Come on, so Jesus, Jesus wanted them to know.
-
I mean, you want to follow me, but I ain't
-
even got no where to lay my head. Yeah, second tim,
-
it's I'm sorry, I'm going ahead of myself. What Jesus
-
was telling them is that his yes to discipleship would
-
sometimes come with uncertainties and even have.
-
Some hard times. Y'all have any hard.
-
Times, thanks of God, raise your hand and saying this
-
is for us this morning, you got any certainties in
-
your life?
-
Yeah? So I'm just saying why we won't go?
-
Then when we told to go, we already getting uncertainties
-
and uncomfortability.
-
At least if we get it with.
-
Jesus holding ourselves accountable to tie, Yes, we got some help. Yeah,
-
you got, you got help, you got a backup system.
-
You got angels behind your angels going before you. You
-
got the Holy Spirit, you got God's anaty that is strong,
-
that lifts up yolks. And then when you really get
-
in trouble, he say, you got his name. His name
-
is a strong tower for the righteous where we can
-
run in and find safety.
-
Come on, now, you might as well hanging over Jesus, you.
-
Might have Well, if you're gonna say yes, you might
-
as well keep going, going all the way. At least
-
you got some help while you're going all the way,
-
for when things get tough, for when things don't turn
-
out your way.
-
I got some help. So what does your yes say?
-
Does my yes say? I trust in God.
-
For many of the afflictions of the righteous, but only
-
God can deliver them out of them. All you gonna
-
go through some stuff. Quit acting like it's supposed to
-
be hunky dory on this side. We got an enemy
-
and a battlem and we didn't have been called to
-
be soldiers.
-
In the army.
-
How many soldiers back off when it's time to fight.
-
It's a lot?
-
Oh what in this army? Oh yeah, okay, help us
-
out there, Lady Love, Lady love, most say it's a
-
lot of them, and it more than likely us because
-
a lot of people have said yes, but have not
-
helped theirself accountable.
-
To that yes.
-
And if we say yes, we got to hold ourself
-
accountable to the yest. Because I can tell you this,
-
because of this message, God is holding us accountable because
-
many of us say things and when our mouth we
-
say one thing, but our hearts be far from it.
-
And God is trying to get our hearts to line
-
up our mouth to line up.
-
With our hearts.
-
Yeah, we can't just keep speaking and saying stuff just
-
to say something. Yeah, we're not babblers. Tewod Timothy three
-
and twelve says, yay, and all that live a godly
-
life in Christ, Jesus shall suffer persecution. You're gonna go
-
through something. You're gonna go through something. It's no way.
-
Out of it.
-
But like I said, at least if you with Jesus,
-
you're going through it, and you got a backup system.
-
When I was in the world, I didn't have a
-
backup system when things went bad.
-
I didn't pray. When times got heard, I didn't pray.
-
I didn't have that.
-
Backup system them. If I was broke, I got an
-
extra job. Then I was tired and I couldn't get
-
no rest. I'm just saying, we have to look at
-
the situation. So I do I stay on this side
-
and say yes and know that I have helped Satan
-
don't help his people.
-
Satan uses his people.
-
He manipulates his people, and the same way that he
-
trying to torture the Saints, he's still torture his people.
-
Satan ain't got no love for nobody. Satan is not love.
-
But when you come to this side, you got a
-
father that loves you.
-
Not only do he love you, he loves you unconditionally.
-
He'll be with you from now and to the end.
-
He won't ever leave you. Neither will he forsake you.
-
We don't have that on the other side. So what
-
does my yes say? What am I actively doing to
-
the with that yes that I said to God? Am
-
I actively working and moving in the kingdom? Am I
-
keeping my word? Holding myself accountable the things that I
-
don't know, saying Lord, teach me, Lord, show me the way,
-
and not always being so quick to say no to
-
the man, because I think that the man can't be got.
-
God couldn't have told him to ask me that. I
-
know God didn't. I'm gonna go and pray about it.
-
Can you pick up that trash? Let me go pray
-
about that, because I don't know?
-
Can you? Can you motor yard? If there? I got
-
to pray about that one? I don't know. So what
-
your yes, it's not active, Your yes is passed.
-
If you just sitting there waiting on somebody to tell
-
you what to do, and then as soon as they
-
tell you what to do, now you mad because I
-
know he didn't say that to me.
-
I know he didn't talk to me like that.
-
You know, it's hard to bring forth correction in the
-
church because again, if somebody is mature in a certain area,
-
then they feel like you can't tell them nothing. But
-
they'll go to work and they vous for discipline them,
-
and they'll let the bouce discipline them about what they did.
-
But when they come to church, the man of God
-
or the woman of God can't discipline them about what
-
they did. You can't correct me about what I did either,
-
because I know that I know that. I know that
-
I know, but.
-
You don't know.
-
And so that's one of the areas in the church
-
and in the body of Christ where sometimes you really
-
have to make sure of what your yes was, because
-
my yes says I'm teachable, My YT says I can
-
be corrected by the Man of God. And then especially
-
if I know the word. Now, if you don't know
-
the word, maybe you think what the Man.
-
Of God is saying is wrong.
-
Get to know the word, because if God has put
-
you under a leader, it's for that leader to lead you.
-
And if that leader ain't leading you right and you
-
know the word, then maybe you do need to find
-
you a different leader. But if that leader is leading
-
you right and you know the word, then you know
-
that that's God using the leader to speak to you.
-
Don't be like the children of Visrael and have to
-
wander in the same wilderness for forty years.
-
Just because you won't listen.
-
Because God told the Man of God to ask you
-
to do something and you won't do it. You stayed,
-
oh no, no, that don't saund right. And so now
-
you're still there. God trying to get you to move
-
in a different place, trying to get you to do
-
something different, something unfamiliar to you, because He trying to
-
bring you out of your comfort zone. But you don't
-
want to listen to him because you think he trying
-
to make you do something you don't want to do.
-
So now you still stuck because where God was trying
-
to get you to move to the next to the
-
second role, Move up, come up, come up to the
-
first row, and you won't come up to the first
-
role because you think he trying to get you to
-
the first row so that he can say something to
-
you that ain't this side.
-
Of line, so you won't come up the whole time.
-
It ain't him, it's God saying, come up, baby, I'm
-
tired of you sitting.
-
In the back. I'm tired of you being where you are.
-
I got blessings for you, I got more for you,
-
but you take.
-
Heed, so then you stay in that place.
-
The second man, when he was asked to follow Jesus,
-
that man said that he needed to go bury his father.
-
He said, Lord, suffer me first to go bury my father.
-
Notice what he said, first first? How many of us
-
put us first? Let me do this first. I hear
-
what you said, Lord, but let me do this first.
-
I gotta go over here. Wait a minute, Lord, wait
-
a minute, because this was already here. So if I
-
do this first, then I'll be able to do this
-
what you what you asked me to do, steady trying
-
to put stuff in order, or at least make sure
-
you get.
-
Your stuff done first.
-
Because if I can get mine done first, then I
-
got plenty.
-
Of time for God. You y'all know that. But if
-
I get mine done, I know the church need cleaning,
-
but I gotta clean my house first.
-
Yeah, I know that they need finances, but I gotta
-
do mine first. How I'm gonna pay your bills and
-
I ain't paid mine because you ain't got no trust
-
in God? Because if the Lord say do it, I
-
suggest you do it. But no, he wanted to do
-
his first what he needed to do first. I'll obey,
-
but first let me see how this works out. Lord,
-
I'll go, but first let me handle this one. If
-
Yo yes to Jesus must come first, then yr yes,
-
Saint to Jesus. Because Matthew six and thirty three says
-
he key first the kingdom. The kingdom will and then
-
when you seek that first, look at what he gonna do.
-
He gonna add all all that you need, all the
-
stuff that you don't have. See he was doing it backwards.
-
He wanted him first, put Jesus second. That's like many
-
of us, and we have to be honest with ourselves.
-
How many times do you put Jesus first?
-
What is yo yes? Say?
-
Because if I say yes to your will, it ain't
-
what I want, it's what you say. And sometimes again
-
it's hard to hear him. It's hard to hear somebody
-
you don't spend time with. That's why it's important to
-
read the word. He not trying to get you to
-
like get into a book reading club with the Bible,
-
a book club for this one. This really is basic
-
constructions before leaving earth. And when you not only adhere
-
to him, but when you put these scriptures to.
-
Work, then the word will start becoming life.
-
You and so not me first, God first, and so
-
after I them put Jesus first. Jesus was saying that
-
it wasn't that he wasn't the family wasn't important. That's
-
not what he was saying to the man. But we
-
have to get an understanding that even sometimes for our family,
-
we got to put God first. Said, I'm still waiting
-
on two of my kids to come in.
-
Well, if I take all.
-
My time and effort and put it into making them
-
come in, making them be saved.
-
Making man, you can't we.
-
Can't save them, and we can't make them stay saved.
-
But if I put God first, and I'm praying, and
-
I'm adhering to God and I'm listening to God, God
-
himself would start drawing them in, just like he drew
-
me in. I promise you, I'm gonna pastor. Somebody were
-
praying for me. Somebody was praying for me because I
-
didn't know no whole bunch of saves folks. Somebody was
-
just praying, Lord, softening somebody's hard open up. They blinded eyes, God,
-
drive them from afar off. And while they were praying.
-
God was looking at me, hallelujah.
-
But that person put God first. They was praying for sinners.
-
They was praying for souls to come in. Yet sometimes
-
even in our prayer life, we'll put our prayers.
-
Before everything else.
-
That song, it's miss miss me, oh Lord, standing in
-
the need of prayer, and I am. But he just
-
told me that if I seek you first, the kingdom garden,
-
all his righteousness, then all those things he would add
-
unto me. So whoever sudden, that song was right.
-
But we don't want to get to the point where
-
we only praying for us. We saved.
-
I just heard Minister Whimpley say it this morning. If
-
you don't do another thing, you've done enough for me.
-
If I don't get another blessing, meaning even the error
-
that I breathe, that's a blessing. I think we look
-
at blessings and stuff. If I don't get another thing,
-
he's done enough for me. He saved my soul.
-
I have an opportunity to not spend eternal after life
-
in hell.
-
I'll be able to spend it in heaven. So he's
-
done enough. So when it comes to putting first, we
-
need to always make sure that I yes, says I'm.
-
Putting Jesus first. When Jesus calls.
-
Us, he don't want to be added to our list
-
of priorities. Okay, I just got to say, I gotta
-
go to work, I gotta be a wife, I gotta
-
be a mother. Well, I do gotta go buy groceries,
-
and I need to clean up. Okay, So I'm gonna
-
put Jesus right in here, right here at Jesus.
-
And it's midway. But I got you there.
-
That's not what he's looking for because if you put
-
him at the top.
-
Your priority list, he got all the rest of that.
-
Yeah, he gonna take all the rest of that, take
-
her all the rest of that.
-
Yeah.
-
What you couldn't do now you can do with him
-
because he at the top. Now I got extra strength, Amen,
-
I got strengthened. I don't even know where the strength.
-
Come from, Lady Love.
-
Yesterday's walk was truly a blessed But I got home,
-
and oh my goodness, my knees was talking to me
-
in all kinds of languages, and I didn't understand that.
-
I said, Jesus, I hadn't heard nothing from them in
-
a long time. But because I put God first, not
-
only was I able to go out and do God's work, but.
-
Even after I did God's work, I.
-
Was able to do my work. And after I did
-
my work, I was even able to fix a little
-
something for the husband to eat. I was able to
-
go in there and clean, y'all. I had so much
-
strength I didn't go to bed two one o'clock this morning,
-
and then got up at six o'clock this morning and put.
-
On Sunday dinner, cleaned up the kitchen.
-
I'm just saying when we put him first, he's top
-
of the priority.
-
Then God would do the rest.
-
So then you don't have to listen to the enemy
-
tell you you don't.
-
Have time to read.
-
You know that, right Yn, You don't have time to pray.
-
You busy. You see, all this stuff you got to
-
do causes us to get in a place that's outside
-
of God. We become procrastinators. Now we not just procrastinators,
-
but now we're lazy.
-
I'm tired, I can't do this. Ooh.
-
But that's what happens when we don't set our priority
-
lis stuff right. Jesus should always come first. I always
-
come first, because if I allow him to come first,
-
then he'll help me with the rest of them.
-
He's my strength when I am weak. Hallylujah.
-
It's only because a him that I'm awakening in the morning.
-
He's my wisdom when I don't know what to do.
-
He's my words when I don't know what to say.
-
Put him at the top, let him have his way,
-
and I'm just saying, what does my yes say? Because
-
my yes is gonna always speak loud, I won't be
-
able to tell you yes, I'm a good Christian, Yes,
-
I'm a lovely lady. Yes, I'm an awesome person. I
-
am the best wife, I'm the best friend. No, my
-
actions will always show that. Yeah, because if I ain't
-
being the best friend of my friend need like by
-
showing my best friend. If I ain't there when you
-
need me, if you can't call me every time you
-
call my phone on dm ME I think that's what
-
they call it, or every time you come by my house,
-
I want to open my door. What kind of that
-
shows what kind of friend I am.
-
Mother. It's gonna take care of her kids.
-
She gonna make sure they fast, she's gonna make sure
-
they bathed, she's gonna make sure they have clothes on
-
their back.
-
That's your action to being a good mother.
-
I'm not just gonna believe you know good mother because
-
you told me you was a good mother.
-
So a lot of people say they are a lot
-
of things that they not.
-
So thank God, the actions have to line up.
-
With that one.
-
Your yes says it won't keep looking back. That's our
-
third point, because I'm moving fast. It's said that we
-
won't keep looking back. There was another man that came
-
to Jesus. He say, Lord, I'll follow them, but let
-
me bid them farewell.
-
Which are at my house.
-
You gotta go all the way back home because you
-
have met Jesus on the street.
-
Now you want to go all the way back home.
-
You're taking quality time away from the Savior to go
-
back somewhere, and.
-
No telling how far back it is.
-
And even with studying this, I thought maybe it had
-
something to do with like a backslaughter. Yeah, they're not
-
talking about the backslaughter. They just talking about people like
-
Lot's wife that were told not to look back, and
-
she kept looking back, so she turned into a pillow
-
of sack.
-
He talking about the.
-
People to keep looking back. And because you looking back
-
when you're going forward with you're making mistakes. That's why
-
he compared it to plan on the field. How can you?
-
I don't. I can't see what I'm doing in the front,
-
So how I don't even know where I'm going? I'm
-
off track?
-
First off, because I'm still looking back. He in front
-
of me, because the Lord goes before me. That's been
-
my prayer tell that is the Lord goes before me.
-
So if God is in front of me, why am
-
I looking back? I'm losing space. I'm making all kinds
-
of mistakes.
-
And then I'm a visionary.
-
So I've seen the person with the plow.
-
Yeah, now your pastor is crookd uh, not at all
-
got out Yours got out somebody else's.
-
And then when he got out of the us because
-
you steady looking back, you don't have to go back.
-
God got you.
-
And if your family come and God and bring them.
-
I'm a witness to that. I got two in the
-
church now.
-
At God's time, at their daytiming, really, because He's not
-
gonna force him.
-
But you keep praying for him. You don't stop praying
-
for him.
-
You don't never stop praying for your unsaved level, and
-
you don't never stop praying for unsaved people. Salvation is beautiful,
-
is it not. I'm saved. I'm grateful that I am saved.
-
Salvation brings me happiness, It brings me joy, So why
-
would I.
-
Not want that for somebody else.
-
We'll always be praying for the center man to come
-
down to God and to know him and the fellowship
-
that we know him in.
-
But I can't do that if I'm looking back.
-
I either got the keep turning that you're gonna have
-
to cooking your neck eventually. Are you just gonna mess
-
up everything in front of you. Yeah, how you gonna
-
keep driving? But looking in the rearview mirror, it's impossible.
-
I can't drive and talk, sister lady Moore, I can't,
-
And I ain't shamed. People tell me all the time.
-
I was just waving at you and just blowing.
-
Man.
-
If I don't stay forward, yeah, I got to.
-
I be in the store.
-
I can't push a basket and text on the I
-
have to stop.
-
I can't text and talk. And I'm okay with that. Yep,
-
that's me. Yeah, uh huh. But I ain't turned back here.
-
I ain't turning back. Yeah.
-
So I'm still still and focused. And that's how we
-
have to be with God, still and focused, and sometimes
-
we get We put so much in our basket.
-
You got so much going on.
-
That's why you study looking back, you steady, looking back
-
by what you just picked up while ago, what you
-
picked up yesterday, instead of looking forward and allow on.
-
God to lead you.
-
If God leads you, you ain't got to keep picking
-
up stuff, cause he gonna tell you what to do.
-
He gonna tell you how to do it. He gonna
-
tell you which connor to turn. So we have to
-
my yes, has to say that I'm gonna you all
-
the way and the way I'm gonna show that by
-
action for that is that I'm not gonna be looking
-
behind me. I'm not gonna be looking to myself, no offense, Mother,
-
Elder Johnson. I can't be looking at you. I can't
-
be looking to Minister Whimley. I can't be looking at you,
-
lady a little more. I love all of y'all. And
-
if the Lord send me to you, I'm coming because
-
I know he got something for me through you. But
-
if I take my focus out for God and put
-
my focus on all y'all.
-
I'm gonna be messed up, messed up a man.
-
So this third man had to realize, you can't take
-
your eyes off of Jesus. And studying this text, I
-
found that Jesus was considering this man to be double minded,
-
not Baxley and double minded. You got so much going
-
on up here, because you got so much going on
-
back there, and you looking at it. Man, ain't that terrible.
-
We've been there, We was at four. We got saved.
-
Thank God, he opened our eyes up. Now understand why
-
he have to remove the scales from blinded eyes, cause
-
we needed to see that Halley lu Yak and so
-
brought us out. Don't go back. Stay focused if you
-
have said yes, Lord, stay.
-
Focused God, what would you have me to do? God?
-
Which way do you want me to go? Quit doing
-
stuff in our own I don't know what tomorrow hoes.
-
I can just guess on it.
-
And even with guessing on it, I can make the
-
biggest wrong guess. But when I'm focused on Jesus, when
-
I'm listening to what God says, the author and the
-
finisher of my faith, the one who will.
-
Lead and guide me into our righteousness. Yeah, I'm not
-
looking back. I'm staying forward ahead. Amen.
-
It says he is comparing him to someone in the
-
field because while planned, he's looking behind himself, which would
-
cause him not to have.
-
A straight feel, but a crooked feel. Your yes requires
-
forward movement. Your yes requires forward movement.
-
I can't tell y'all how many times. And like I say,
-
I'm always honest about me. That's why I say today
-
is a check yourself. I'm not telling you tell your neighbor. No,
-
I'm telling you tell you. God wants you to check
-
you because sometimes we won't check us because we think
-
we got it. All together. I'm all that in a
-
bag of chips. I make sure my daily prayers. Lord
-
exposed me to me, because if you expose me to me,
-
you give me an opportunity to get.
-
With you and then me and you can get this
-
right so that you.
-
Don't expose me to them, because if they see my
-
flyer now the people of God see your flowers, they
-
gonna start talking about you and putting you down.
-
God see your flowers. God gonna help you out. Amen.
-
So Lord, don't expose me to them. People that won't
-
help me.
-
Expose me to me, and then I can come to
-
you and say, ooh, Lord, man, you need.
-
To help me with that one I still got.
-
I still need some help in this area because none
-
of us are finished work.
-
That's why he.
-
Could look back. It was something that wasn't finished. Whenber
-
he had to go back and tell his family. It
-
wasn't just saying good bye, but why I'm there, Hey,
-
how y'all doing?
-
And this is what I'm gonna do. You ain't got
-
to tell everybody where you going. Just go. If Jesus
-
said go, let's go.
-
Yeah, everybody don't need to know where I'm going because
-
everybody ain't qualified to go with you anyway, and sometimes
-
you ain't qualified to go with you. You need to get
-
you out the way because you still limiting yourself up
-
because you're looking back and saying, remember when I messed up,
-
Remember I couldn't I can't do that.
-
God.
-
Yeah, remember I'm I'm I don't know how to hold
-
onto that the right way. We start seeing the little
-
bitty things about us and we turn them into a
-
moat or a mohill.
-
And God is looking.
-
At that little bitty thing that's bad about you, where
-
you can't remember, where you don't sweep right, or you
-
don't clean right, and he's saying, man, I can take
-
her and get some glory out of her, because as
-
I move her forward, then I can grow her and
-
I can mature her.
-
She may think she ain't qualified.
-
But I see something in there that qualifies her. But
-
because you looking back then when you felt like you
-
wasn't qualified or you did something that made you unqualified,
-
now you won't.
-
Go forward with the Lord. Yo. Yes, could be holding
-
up God's plan.
-
Yo, yes, could be holding up things for somebody else.
-
Remember we wasn't called for ourself. God is using us.
-
He's using us to bring others in. He's using us
-
to disciple. I love our vision to reach those of
-
the loss, equip those of the faun, and then send
-
those that the chosen. But if I don't never go
-
after nobody, if I don't never tell nobody, if I
-
won't never help nobody. But I said yes, that's part
-
of the great commission to go out. So I'm not
-
just saying yes to the vision for VP. I'm saying
-
yes to the Lord. And we just got through singing that,
-
didn't we. I say yes, Lord, yes to your willing,
-
to your way. I say yes, Lord, Yes, I will
-
trust you and obey, And when your spirit.
-
Speaks to me and.
-
My whole heart, I'll agree and the answer will be yes, Lord, Yes, y'all.
-
We have to be more careful about what we're saying,
-
because the Lord say, we'll get caught up in these
-
songs and it's just that a song.
-
But it's not just a song.
-
Those are words that we are given to God, words
-
that we should honor.
-
And how do we honor them with our actions? With
-
our actions?
-
Sometimes God is calling us forward, but we're still looking backwards,
-
looking back at old relationships, old habits, oh, disappointments, old failures,
-
what we used to have and what we used to be,
-
We're not there no more. Let it go, Let it go.
-
You have to let it go. You can't bring the
-
old into the new, or it's never new. You just
-
to move the couple of steps. But I'm not trying
-
to move a couple of steps for me. I'm trying
-
to go to high heights and deeper.
-
Depths in God. How you gonna get the high heights.
-
And deeper depths in God? And you got this big
-
old load your back heavy. He done sent the annoyingting
-
to lift up the yolk, and you won't let the
-
yoke go, you holding on to it, keeping it on
-
your neck, because you won't let go. In order for
-
us to be successful in life, we have to let
-
go of some things.
-
And that's not even just spiritually, that's in the world.
-
I can't never be promoted if I keep saying now
-
I work right here, and they said, now come up here,
-
you've been doing good. Not only that, I want to
-
give you a raise. God said, I want to give
-
you a raise, Come on up here. We won't even
-
go up there with God to get the raise. We
-
study holding onto the past, holding onto stuff, and won't
-
let go.
-
God is saying, let it go. That's part of your yes.
-
Set yourself free from the things that are holding you
-
bound again.
-
This is a personal.
-
God is saying, I call you to come forward, each
-
and every let that's one of us. He never called
-
us for us to stay where we were. Our God
-
is a moving god. Our God is a productive god.
-
If you steal where you was when you first got saved,
-
check yourself, and.
-
Then go to the Lord.
-
And Lord, I repent, I wasn't listening, maybe I didn't
-
do this, whatever the case may be, I repent.
-
This is our own repentance. And quit thinking you don't
-
have to repent no more because you saved.
-
It's still some stuff that we need to turn away from.
-
And I'm just saying.
-
Because I say repenting, people like, oh, that's what you
-
do to get saved.
-
Now, that's what you do to keep moving.
-
If I know I'm messed up and I'm in the wrong, God,
-
I repent, help me to turn away from that thing, never.
-
To go back to it again. Lady love more.
-
If I tell you that the class that we did
-
on good Stewardship, if that wasn't life changing to me? Man,
-
Thank God that it was life changing. No, But I
-
had to repent because I was being misuseful of the
-
finances you was giving us. God, I was wasting. I
-
was being selfish in some areas. I was being very,
-
very man. I was bad with finances. But I repented.
-
And because I repented, now God is helping me. My
-
whole financial aspect, my whole financial outlook has changed.
-
And somebody said, well, why are you repenting. That's not
-
like a saying why come in? That's his.
-
And he gave it to me, and he told me
-
to be a good steward over.
-
And I wasn't a good steward over. Forgive me, Father.
-
Yeah, but we think it stops with salvation, like you
-
just walking perfect like you, Jesus, you got it all together.
-
You ain't never made no mistakes. We not Jesus, honey. Yeah,
-
we're pressing towards it in along the way as we
-
mess up. Repent. If you sin, ask for forgiveness. Don't
-
stay in sin. If you sin, ask for forgiveness, don't
-
let nobody tell you that's okay.
-
Church folks do that, because we ain't church folks. We
-
follows of Christ. Amen. So there's a certain type of
-
lifestyle that we live.
-
We can't continue to plow forward while constantly looking backwards.
-
Yo, yes should say I'm leaving what.
-
I need to leave, and I'm moving where God is
-
calling me to move.
-
What does your yest say?
-
That's the question for each one of us to ask
-
ourselves on today, and it's according to the text that
-
I just read. The first one would be, does your
-
yest say that I'll follow Christ? Does your yes really
-
say that? And again, sometimes it's okay to check yourself.
-
I do, and I'm not saying that y'all are me,
-
But I just understand that I'm human. I make mistakes,
-
and I know I can't be the only one to
-
make a mistake. I know Jesus didn't just come die
-
for me, just what old me by myself? Okay, I
-
didn't think he did. I thought he put a bunch
-
of us in there. Your second one would be does
-
Jesus come before everything?
-
And he should? And if he's not, right now, that's okay,
-
repent and that's in our honesty.
-
Change that, because that's what repentance heals.
-
Repentance is changing it.
-
Asking for forgiveness of saying, Lord, forgive me because I've
-
done that wrong and I know I shouldn't do that.
-
But once you repent, now you're gonna change your whole
-
Outlook about that a change.
-
So if I hadn't been putting God Jesus.
-
Top and first repent and then and I'm telling you this,
-
this is just I believe the Lord does it with
-
everybody because he does it with me, and he's not
-
a respectful person. I can say, God, help me.
-
Because I don't know what to do. Sometimes we just
-
don't know what to do.
-
Help me, Lord, help me to be intentional with put
-
in Jesus first, it's okay. Help me to live this life.
-
Help me to walk this out. I can't walk this
-
by myself. I ain't never been saved before. Besides the
-
instructions that you have given me in this Bible. Again,
-
he gave us a spirit. He gave us a spirit
-
for a reason. The Holy Spirit leads us, He brings
-
forth conviction. He gives us what God gives him to
-
tell us, and it's the truth. So we have help
-
receive that help. The third one is don't turn back
-
whatever you was and whatever you was doing before now
-
leave it there, even on yesterday, yesterday gone. We can't
-
go back and change it. We can't even go back
-
and fix it.
-
Now.
-
If there's something that I can do, Lord, show me
-
what I can do. If I messed up with an individual,
-
I can go back and apologize as for forgiveness. Yeah,
-
but if I didn't pay that bill it was due yesterday,
-
pay it today. But you can't go back and fix
-
that you laid on it because it was yesterday.
-
So we when we do.
-
That, then we're saying, Lord, I'm saying yes to your
-
yet to my yes.
-
If I'm saying yes, I really mean that.
-
Again, we sung the song Lord, yes, yes to your
-
will and yes to your Way. We've even sung yes
-
by Chicao Glory, and I mean that's a deep yes.
-
That yes makes me cry because she said, deep down
-
in her soul, we have to take those songs and
-
not just let them be songs. But when we saying yes,
-
we have to take that and allow that to become
-
a part of us.
-
To God, the Son.
-
This song that Chicao Glory sings, if you notice, it's
-
not even them singing to God. But what she's saying is,
-
this is what God is saying to them, and God
-
is saying, will your heart and your soul say yes?
-
It's completely different. So the other ones they're saying yes
-
to him, God is asking them, will you say yes?
-
So even today, as we prepare to close out cannot
-
Will our hearts say yes to God? Will our minds,
-
with everything within us say yes to God? Because God
-
is not just deserving of our yes, but He's worthy
-
of our yes.
-
Yeah.
-
We did not find God and then get saved, but
-
God found us and then saved us, and he paid
-
the ultimate price for it, his son's life. And I'm
-
just saying, if I lived like I lived for the
-
world and y'all, I wasn't no real big bad mamma
-
jam or none of that.
-
I was still quiet coming because I was just a drunk.
-
I mean, I didn't do a lot of stuff, but
-
I gave the world one hundred percent of me, one
-
hundred percent of me, and for me, I just refused
-
to come on this side and not.
-
Give God a hundred percent.
-
I don't care what nobody say, I don't care what
-
nobody think. I'm gonna do what I know God has
-
wanted me to do. That's praying that's fasting, that's reading,
-
that's spending time with him.
-
I'm in this church.
-
One of the things that we say when people join
-
the church is whatever you find your hand to do,
-
let yourself be doing that, y'all.
-
I'll good.
-
This is a part of my kingdom work. So whatever
-
it is I need to do in here, I do it.
-
If it means we need to go and walk the
-
streets and pray, then we're gonna do that.
-
I'm gonna do that personal.
-
If it means we need to go to the nursing
-
homes and pray, I'm gonna do that. If it means
-
that we're going out and feeding, I'm gonna do that.
-
If it mean I have to give, even when I
-
don't have to give, I'm gonna do that. Because my
-
yes was yes, whatever you say. That's why I say,
-
be careful about saying that. And then somebody asks.
-
You to do something and you wonna do it. Somebody
-
asked you for five dollars, all you.
-
Got is ten, and you saying I can't give that,
-
and I'm in our honesty, I'm gonna close.
-
This, ane' Let's say something real quick.
-
This text reminds us that God is not simply listening
-
to the word yes that's coming out of our mouth.
-
But he's looking at the life that comes with the
-
word yes. It's good that you said it. Now let
-
me see if you're gonna do it. God is an
-
action God. He's waiting on us to be action people.
-
So again, on today, what is your yes say? Does
-
it say you will follow Jesus even when you don't
-
feel it, when it's not comfortable, when you see things,
-
but the things that you see.
-
Don't feel right, don't really look like Jesus, But you
-
know that that's Jesus saying let's go. Will you still
-
say yes?
-
Does it say that Jesus comes before everything else? Does
-
your yes say, regardless of how I feel, regardless of
-
the plans that I made, I'm gonna still allow Jesus
-
to be the most important aspect of my life. Does
-
your yes say that I'm not going back even after today,
-
after you commune with God and you say God, okay,
-
I'm gonna start being more accountable. I'm gonna hold myself accountable.
-
That's one of the things that I have the prayer
-
warriors to do. And we still need some growth in
-
that area. But I ask them to not just define it,
-
but to write it down, because if we're health accountable
-
to something, we need to understand the importance of doing
-
what we've been health accountable to do. And I just
-
know from a world aspect, you don't see a lot
-
of people being laid for their jobs. Why because they're
-
gonna get paid. But even with God, there's payment at
-
the end, there's payment. Now, you keep your commitments to
-
God and watch and see what God won't do in
-
your life.
-
So many people wear of.
-
It about where they at situations as bad things. It's
-
going on, y'all, But how many of y'all committed to
-
the word, committed to keep the word, committed to.
-
Do what God?
-
And I'm not saying that you have to do in
-
order for God to give, because God will bless you
-
even when you don't. But I'm just telling you there's
-
some principles in here. But if I want this, I
-
have to make sure that I adhere to those principles.
-
They're here to tell me how to get to where.
-
I'm going to.
-
And I'm gonna say this and I'm closing, I Uh,
-
really extra excited.
-
About about this word.
-
And my husband was laughing at me this morning because
-
he said, you've been working on that.
-
For about a week.
-
But uh, if you know how God is, you get
-
into the word and here man, you be everywhere you Man.
-
I'm just saying, the.
-
Two three Bibles out, two three books out look, and
-
I got like notes that I put on my little notebooks.
-
And I was telling.
-
Tenko, I said, wonder if I could just take.
-
All my notes up there one time and preach.
-
Off the notes because I have to take all the
-
notes and put them on one paper. But it gives
-
you an opportunity to spend time with the Lord. Yeah,
-
it's it's and it's more intense than when you just
-
study and studying. So anyway, I said, I was talking
-
to somebody the other day. God is gonna bless and
-
I keep saying that, and and I professed.
-
That this is prophetic.
-
Because I keep saying it and I keep hearing in it.
-
God is looking for a people of people that would
-
adhere to being a better steward over the little.
-
That they have.
-
He said, if you be faithful over the little, I'll
-
make you rule over much.
-
There are so many people in the Body of Christ
-
that are struggling right now.
-
So the Lord just keeps showing me this, and I
-
think I keep telling all those that I can will
-
listen to it.
-
I keep telling them that. But if you start being
-
a better steward.
-
Over your finances, God is in positioning a lot of
-
us to be able to receive financially, and not for us,
-
even though it's going.
-
To be for you.
-
There's much kingdom work that needs to be done, but
-
it has to be somebody that he can trust, somebody
-
that can be dependable if a couple of hundred thousand
-
dollars dropped off in their hand, not that you get
-
all happy and I'm gonna go shopping and I'm finna
-
buy this again, and he's not showing me that it.
-
I all go to them, But it has to be
-
somebody that understands kingdom and that it's already taking care
-
of the little that they have. So I don't know
-
who I was talking to, because that's all I talk about,
-
is the word. But anyway, as I'm talking about this
-
with an individual, the Lord brought me back one of
-
my favorite scriptures.
-
And I told him, I said, I always tell Lady
-
Love more of that one.
-
But what the Lord told me was quit leaving off
-
the back end of it. God says that if we give,
-
it shall be giving back unto us good measure pressed down,
-
shaking together and running over, shall.
-
Men pour in to your bosom.
-
And the part that I had been leaving out was
-
in the measure that you give, shall it be given back.
-
So God is calling some of us to sacrifice who
-
may not even be able to do it. But he's
-
not looking at what you have. He's looking at the
-
intention of your heart. Because God, in this hour, I
-
think for so long, so many of us have waited,
-
and I don't know if all of y'all have the
-
scripture that says the wealth of the wicked has been
-
stored up for the righteous, and their beauty is big
-
transfer and possibly so. But right now God is using
-
his principles to get finances to people that would help
-
in the kingdom, that would take it, and like I say,
-
run with it for them. But the way that God
-
is gonna know that he can trust you is because
-
you're gonna be taking care.
-
Of the little that you have right now. Amen.
-
And again I say that standing here today believing that
-
that is a prophetic word from God. So as we
-
adhere to I Yes, and that may be us because
-
you don't have to be there now, but you can
-
get in alignment with it.
-
That's why he gave it to you.
-
Line up with God here, I am, Lord, teach me
-
to be a better steward over that, which is what
-
I have. Help me to not be dependent up on
-
my money, but be dependent upon you because you are
-
the God of all things. But we need finances. Don't
-
let the world or the devil either tell you the
-
money is the wicked, because that's a lie.
-
We need money. We need money in the kingdom.
-
The Kingdom, thank you, needs to be advanced, and it
-
can't get advanced by our looks as cute as well
-
is y'all, So we need finances. We got some land
-
over here that that that that ground need to be
-
broken up, A foundation need to be laid on that
-
land over there. That ain't gonna come because we're cute.
-
So not just praying and asking God to send those
-
that have finances. But God, you can trust me here
-
I am, so that I can help with the vision
-
that you've given our visionary, so that we can put
-
our hands to the.
-
Plow and not look back. Amen. Amen. So again on
-
today I'm just closing with ask.
-
Yourself, what does my yes say, Amen, yay, let's come on. Jeez,
