You may not even feel good in your body. I
-
don't even feel good.
-
In my body. I have blood clots in my lungs
-
and in my legs.
-
But I'm here! Even as First Lady Corbett said, you're blessed.
-
You opened your eyes this morning. You have the activity
-
of your limbs. Amen. Amen. So we do give honor
-
to God, my father, which is in heaven. I give
-
honor to my big brother, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
-
I also give honor to my leader, Overseer Moore, my co-pastor,
-
First Lady Love Moore, the elders of this church, amen,
-
and the ministers, and all you that make up the
-
household of faith.
-
I thank God for each and every one of you, amen.
-
Now I'm a little nervous, y'all. But I thank God
-
for the opportunity.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Amen.
-
I won't be before you long.
-
If you turn with me to Matthew chapter 28, verses
-
18 through 20.
-
When you have it, say amen. Matthew 28. Amen. We
-
have to say amen.
-
Amen. And the Bible says, and Jesus, somebody say, and
-
Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is
-
given unto me.
-
All power. Somebody say all power.
-
He says all power is given unto me in heaven
-
and in the earth. He says go ye therefore and
-
teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the
-
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
-
Teaching them to observe all things and Whatsoever, whatever.
-
I have commanded you.
-
And lo, I am with you always, even unto the
-
end of the world. Amen. So I'm going to pray
-
real quick on my title. I didn't tag this text, y'all.
-
The Holy Ghost tagged this text.
-
He says, one, two, three, tag. You're it. Amen.
-
So I'm going to pray if you bow your heads
-
with me.
-
Amen.
-
God, I thank you for the word that you have
-
sent on today. God, I thank you that your word saves,
-
oh God. Your word heals, oh God. Oh God, your
-
word delivers, oh God.
-
So God, we.
-
Thank you for sending your word on today, oh God.
-
That brings life, oh God. That brings transformed minds and
-
lives and hearts, God. God, I thank you, O God,
-
for the ears, O God, that would be attentive, O God.
-
In the name of Jesus, of what thus says the Lord,
-
O God.
-
I thank you, God, that they would not see me,
-
O God, or hear me, O God, but they would
-
see you, O God. So, God, now I decrease, O God,
-
so that you may increase, O God. Let your spirit,
-
O God, rise up within me, God. I thank you
-
for understanding, revelation, and knowledge of your word, O God.
-
In Jesus' name, amen. You may be seated in the
-
presence of the Lord, amen. Now, we have to understand
-
that the word spake, when you research this in the
-
Hebrew language, it means to declare something. It means to
-
focus on the message being commanded, amen. Amen. And the
-
Bible says that Jesus spake unto his disciples. He told
-
them that all power is given unto me in heaven
-
and in the earth.
-
He says, go ye therefore.
-
Now you have to understand that go is an action verb.
-
In other words, you have to move physically. You may
-
have to leave a familiar place that may be comfortable place.
-
You may have to leave some old relationships. But the
-
truth of.
-
The matter is, you may even have to leave your
-
home with your family and your friends, Abraham. And go
-
ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
-
name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
-
And he tells his disciples, listen, I'm going to be
-
with you until the end. Surely you can count on that.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And again, how did I get this title in the scripture?
-
I was getting ready for church one morning. I was
-
actually a little upset. And the Holy Spirit said, one, two, three, tag,
-
you're it. And I kind of chuckled even though I
-
was upset. And I thought it was kind of funny.
-
I said, well, Lord, what can I do with that?
-
And almost immediately he came back and he.
-
Said matthew 28 18 to 20 now you can find.
-
This story in a couple other gospels uh but.
-
This is the one that he gave me amen so
-
i don't know if any of you have recognized but
-
uh we are living in the last days And I
-
know church folk in the world has been hearing that
-
for a while.
-
But can I.
-
Tell you, time is winding down. Amen. And so I've
-
also noticed how fast the days are going by. It
-
seems like there's not enough hours in the day. And
-
I mean everything just flying by. And you know it's
-
flying by when even your work is flying by. Monday
-
through Friday, whatever days you work, it's flying by. And
-
you blink your eyes, it's a new week already. The
-
weekend done passed. Church done passed.
-
Come on, somebody.
-
I remember being back in high school about 10 plus
-
years ago and in my college days, and it seemed
-
like you could go to school, you could go to work,
-
come home, take a nap, do some homework, study, eat,
-
watch some shows, and still have some time left over.
-
I'm talking about 10 years ago, y'all.
-
Now you get up and you blink and it's time
-
to do it all over again. You also have the
-
cost of living at the highest it has ever been.
-
You have the mental health crisis at the highest it's
-
ever been. You have depression, anxiety, suicide, distress, all on
-
the rise. Amen. And it's more so in our adolescents
-
and in our young adults. That should tell you something
-
right there. people that's carrying our future you also got
-
i might get in trouble for saying this you also
-
got boys wanting to be girls and girls wanting to
-
be boys and some not even wanting to be associated
-
with either or and i'm telling you the truth you
-
have all this demonic activity and influence everywhere you turn
-
You can't even let your children watch a cartoon without
-
sneaking in some kind of perverse confusion. Pushing an agenda
-
of perverseness. Yes. Not to mention the music. the music videos,
-
the award shows, TV commercials, and social media. I mean,
-
all these things are setting the stage for the coming
-
of the Antichrist. But can I tell you that, church,
-
we still have an assignment from God? I just want
-
to encourage you, believers, and remind you Of the task
-
that has been passed down to you. This gospel must
-
be spread no matter what's going on in the world. Amen.
-
So you get to this particular text. And Jesus has
-
just risen from his death. And he's now talking to
-
the 11 disciples on the mountain in Galilee. And he
-
gives them a directive. He says, listen, not only hear me,
-
but I need you to listen to me. All power,
-
not just a little bit, but all power has been
-
given unto me in heaven and earth. And now I
-
am sending you out. I'm sending you to go out
-
and spread the gospel. I'm sending you out to make disciples.
-
I'm sending you out to baptize it.
-
To the end of the world.
-
Now, I know. that this is going to be a
-
hard task to do in the flesh And I know
-
there are some things that you need to be effective
-
in the work that I have called you to.
-
So there are just a few points. I ain't going
-
to be before you long. I just want to hit
-
a few points and I'll be out your way. Amen.
-
My first point.
-
Church, is we got to believe in this gospel. John 3.16 says,
-
For God so loved the world that he gave his
-
only begotten son, and that them who believe in him
-
shall not perish but have everlasting life. In other words,
-
we have to believe in the life, the death, and
-
the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This gospel. Why do we
-
need this gospel to begin with? I'm glad you asked. Somewhere,
-
somebody messed up. Somewhere, somewhere down the line, somebody messed up.
-
Now somebody is Adam. God made Adam... and his image,
-
and in his likeness. And when God made him, he
-
gave them a directive to have dominion, to be fruitful,
-
to multiply, replenish, and subdue the earth. In fact, Adam
-
even had the mind of God. He named every animal,
-
and he lived in complete harmony with God. Then here
-
comes that conniving serpent doing what he does, trying to kill, steal,
-
and destroy God's creation. I was sitting at my desk
-
at about study time, and I heard Humpty Dumpty was
-
sitting on the wall, and Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
-
And the story says.
-
Because I Googled it because I ain't, I googled it
-
and the story says that Humpty Dumpty was unfixable after
-
the fall you gotta google the nursery but how many
-
of you know that God is a mastermind he is
-
all knowing and he knew exactly how to fix us
-
he knew exactly how to restore us he knew exactly
-
how to redeem us he knew exactly how to get
-
us back to the place that he has called us
-
to be And can I tell you this? God never
-
intended for us to live in lack. He never intended
-
for us to be depressed, sad, broken, broke, busted, and disgusted.
-
Living with pain, suffering, trials, and tribulations. This was never
-
the life that God intended for his people. But it
-
came through the choice of Adam and Eve. The consequences
-
of their disobedience. because of our forefather, we have all
-
sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But
-
somebody look at your neighbor and say, God had a plan.
-
God had to fix what.
-
Adam messed up. So we get to the second Adam, Jesus,
-
that is, and see sin and.
-
Death came through one man, but redemption and life came
-
through another. Amen. The Bible says for the wages of
-
sin is death. But the Lamb of God was used
-
as a propitiation, in other words, a substitute for all
-
of our sins. As a matter of fact, not only
-
did he take away the sins of the world, but
-
he brought eternal life. He brought hope. He brought an
-
expected end. He died so you didn't have to.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Again, you have to believe in this gospel. The gospel
-
that brings light to darkness. The gospel that brings victory.
-
The gospel that is a solution to all your life
-
and earthly troubles. The gospel that brings healing to sick
-
bodies and minds. The gospel that brings about deliverance, restoration, joy, encouragement.
-
I'm talking about this gospel. Hallelujah.
-
Give God a praise. Thank God for this gospel.
-
And yes, we will have trials and tribulations on this
-
earth and these mortal bodies.
-
And even Jesus in John.
-
Chapter number 6 verse number 33 says we will have
-
a tribulation. It is inevitable because of sin. But he
-
says be of good cheer.
-
Be encouraged.
-
Stay positive. Through his life, death, and resurrection, he has
-
given us the victory. Somebody say we have the victory
-
over everything. Even them bill collectors calling. We have the victory. Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And I may have some issues going on in my body.
-
I may have some issues going on in my family.
-
I may even have some issues going on in my finances.
-
On my job.
-
I done lost some stuff along the way. I done
-
had some heartache and pain. Amen. I done had people
-
do me wrong, talk about me behind my back, stab
-
me in my back. But as I begin to think
-
back at all the things that I have been through
-
and all that I am going through, I remember quickly
-
the words of the Lord.
-
Be of good cheer. Glory to God.
-
Glory to God. Be encouraged. Because I still have the victory. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. And I want you to.
-
Know no matter what you're going through, how bad it seems,
-
how bad it looks, how bad it feels, if you
-
believe in this gospel.
-
You still have the victory. Clap your hands.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. One, two, three, tag.
-
You're it. Now we believe in this gospel. We fired up.
-
We ready to go now. But if we are going
-
to be effective in spreading this gospel, we need some power.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Before Jesus launched out in his ministry, he was baptized
-
and filled with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost gives
-
us power to be effective witnesses. Not just any kind
-
of witnesses, but effective witnesses. Effective in the assignment that
-
God has called us to. And John chapter number 20,
-
verse number 22, after Jesus had risen from his death,
-
the Bible says that he breathed on his disciples and
-
he said to them, receive.
-
The Holy Ghost. Receive the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And then you flip over to Luke.
-
Chapter number 24, verse number 49. And Jesus tells his disciples,
-
I am going to send you the promise, but go
-
way forward. The promise that's going to give you power
-
from on high. You will receive power, but only after.
-
The Holy Ghost has come up on you. And you'll
-
be witnesses.
-
You'll testify of me not only in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria,
-
but to the end of the earth. Can't nobody tell
-
it like you can tell it. Don't nobody know your
-
story like you and Jesus. Don't nobody know how he
-
kept you and all that you have went through. The
-
suicidal attempts, the depression, the homelessness, the loneliness, wanting to
-
give up and throw in the towel, your heartache and
-
your pain. But thank God for the Holy Ghost.
-
Amen.
-
We are overcomers by the blood of the lamb and
-
the words of our testimony. And I was sitting there
-
and I'm my study time and I asked myself a question.
-
I said, well, why are witnesses so important in the courtroom?
-
And why are testimonies so credible or trusted and heavily
-
relied upon?
-
And what I.
-
Found out is they provide direct. First-hand accounts. They have experience.
-
They provide facts. And this next thing it said, I
-
really like it. It said they can identify and.
-
Point out who did what.
-
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Can you identify and point out what
-
Jesus did? I know it was Jesus who saved me
-
from committing suicide.
-
I know it was Jesus who.
-
Delivered me from alcohol, smoking, and fornication and adultery.
-
I know it was Jesus who saved.
-
My life time after time when I was falling asleep
-
drunk and high under the wheel.
-
I knew that it was Jesus. Come on, somebody. I
-
can identify.
-
I'm a witness.
-
Who saved my life.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And my soul.
-
Hallelujah. Thank God for the Holy Ghost.
-
And his power.
-
His power. that helps me to live right. His power
-
that helps me to talk right. His power that.
-
Helps me to live right and think right. Treat people right. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. What the disciples encountered in the gospel was nothing
-
compared to the book of Acts. When you read the
-
book of Acts and see they faced some trials and
-
some tribulations, they were persecuted, they were stoned, they were jailed, beaten, threatened,
-
all kinds of stuff. Even our Lord and Savior was ridiculed,
-
treated wrongly, falsely accused.
-
And crucified.
-
But thank God for his power that strengthened them to
-
continue to do the work that he had called them
-
to do. Ladies and gentlemen, we also need power to
-
trample over serpents, snakes, and demons. We need power for
-
miracle signs and wonders. Jesus said that miracle signs and
-
wonders shall follow.
-
Them who believe.
-
Amen. And that we would be able to lay hands
-
on the sick and they recover. Church brethren, we need
-
power for this. Amen. This is a part of witnessing.
-
People need to know that there is still hope. But
-
this hope.
-
Can only be found in Christ Jesus.
-
Hallelujah. And don't go out there without no power thinking
-
you're about to witness with miracles, signs, and wonders.
-
Casting out demons. Jesus we know. Paul we know. But
-
who are you?
-
One, two, three.
-
Tag.
-
You're it.
-
Come on. You've been tagged.
-
Hallelujah. You're not here by accident. You're not here by mistake.
-
You have been tagged.
-
Okay.
-
We were tagged by Christ. We don't believe. And we
-
got some power. But we missed some important gear. We
-
need the whole armor of God. In Ephesians chapter number six,
-
verse number 10, Paul tells the church, finally, my brothers
-
and sisters, in conclusion.
-
Be strong in the Lord and.
-
In the power of his might. And then he says,
-
put on the whole armor of God. Now, why in
-
the world would we need some armor to spread the gospel?
-
Because we have to understand that there is a war going.
-
On, a spiritual war.
-
And we have to understand that this war is not
-
against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of
-
the darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, because
-
of this, for this reason, you have got to put
-
on the whole armor of God. And every now and again...
-
You may run into some lies. You might even be
-
telling yourself some lies. As a matter of fact, you
-
might even run into the father of all lies. He
-
can't tell no truth.
-
And the only way.
-
To defeat a lie is with the truth. Ain't no
-
truth in him. Knowing the truth will set you free.
-
So we have to make sure that we have our
-
belt of truth on. You might experience some attacks on
-
your heart. The truth of the matter is heart attacks
-
don't feel good. Heartbreaks don't feel good. Heart diseases don't
-
feel good. Heartbreaks don't feel good. And sometimes the enemy
-
will try to attack your heart. He'll try to attack
-
your emotions. He'll try to attack your trust in God.
-
He'll try to attack your identity. But you have to
-
make sure that your best play of righteousness is on.
-
You are who God has called you to be. There
-
is no condemnation to them which is in Christ Jesus.
-
You are the righteousness of God.
-
You are chosen. You are called. You are loved.
-
You are cared for. You are sons and daughters of
-
the king of kings.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And see, you have to be careful because once you
-
have your belt and your breastplate of righteousness on, he'll
-
try to attack your feet. I said he'll try to
-
attack your feet. He'll try to immobilize you. He'll try
-
to keep you from moving and spreading the gospel. He'll
-
try to immobilize you from spreading the word of truth
-
and serving God. He'll try to immobilize you from moving
-
in the kingdom of God. Oh, you don't have to
-
tell nobody. Oh, that's embarrassing. That testimony, that's a shame.
-
Who would want to hear that? That's your business. Oh,
-
they ask it for too much. That's too far. What
-
witness to so-and-so? That's how they is.
-
That's how they.
-
Always going to be. I'm talking about the enemy, y'all.
-
Try to immobilize you. But how many of you know
-
that there is something about the gospel that brings peace?
-
There's something about carrying the gospel, seeing transformed lives and
-
healed bodies and healed minds and 180 turns.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And y'all, y'all got to know that it doesn't stop there.
-
The serpent don't stop there. He'll begin to attack your faith.
-
He'll begin to attack what you believe in. He'll begin
-
to attack your body. He'll begin to attack your children.
-
He'll begin to attack your finances. He'll begin to attack
-
your marriage. He'll begin to attack your ministry. He'll begin
-
to attack in any way that he can. He'll try
-
to make the temporary things look good. Jesus, if you
-
do this, you'll get this. Amen. But we have to know, church,
-
that no weapon. Somebody say no weapon. formed against us
-
shall prosper we have to know that Jesus is with
-
us even when we go through we have to know
-
that the fire won't burn us we have to know
-
that we have the victory we have to know that
-
the joy of the Lord is our strength we have
-
to know that we can cast all of our cares
-
upon him We have to know that God has never
-
been defeated. We have to know that God cannot be defeated.
-
There is power in knowing. Thank you, Minister Cooper.
-
Do you know who your God is? Do you know
-
who your Lord and Savior is?
-
Do you know what the Bible says? Do you know? No.
-
Do you know? Had to ask myself that question. Do
-
I know? Hallelujah.
-
You got to know that you know. We have your
-
belt now. We have the breastplate. Your feet fitted with
-
the right shoes. You have your shield of faith. And
-
you moving now.
-
You moving.
-
You on fire. You moving in the things of God.
-
But now he starts to attack your mind.
-
He'll have you beginning to doubt your God that you serve.
-
He'll have you doubting your salvation. He'll play those little
-
negative thoughts in your mind. And even you might be
-
in your own head. But I thank God for the
-
helmet of salvation. I thank God for my helmet of salvation.
-
I thank God for his promise. I thank Jesus for
-
sending the promise. Jesus said it was expedient.
-
That I go. If I don't go, your help won't come.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Put your hands together if you need some help right now. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
You may not even feel good.
-
In your body and your mind and your heart.
-
If you need some help, put your hands together. That's
-
not on my paper, y'all.
-
But I thank God for my seal, my comforter, the
-
Holy Ghost. And every now and again, I need some reassurance.
-
Every now and again, I need some encouragement. Every now
-
and again, I need to be reminded that he said
-
he would never leave me, neither forsake me, and that
-
he would be with me until the end.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Yesterday, I threw a fit because there were some things
-
going on in my body, and I could not get
-
to church.
-
Hallelujah. i began to throw a fit in my bathroom and.
-
I began to put my head down and feel defeated
-
but how many of you know i thank god for
-
the holy ghost hallelujah I thank God for my seal. Hallelujah.
-
And how many of y'all know?
-
That there is some change and some transformation when you
-
come into the house of prayer.
-
When I made it here yesterday, I.
-
Couldn't even breathe in my chest, y'all.
-
I'm telling y'all. There's blood caught in my lung. I
-
couldn't even breathe when I made it to the house.
-
But when I made it to the house and I
-
began to sit back there and I began to open
-
my mouth and magnify the Lord and exalt his name. Oh,
-
I felt all right. Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Again, I thank God for my helmet of salvation. How
-
can you leave me when you live in me? How
-
can you leave me when my body is the.
-
Temple of the Holy Ghost?
-
Do you know that God is not a man that
-
he shall lie, nor the son of man that he
-
shall repent? So if he said it in his word,
-
you can believe it.
-
You can take that check to the bank and cash it.
-
That check won't bounce. Hallelujah. Y'all sit down. Y'all making
-
me nervous. I love his word.
-
Amen. Now we got all this defense equipment, but the
-
next one is one of my personal favorites. This is
-
the only piece of offense, offensive weapon that you have.
-
This weapon is the word of God, the sword of
-
the spirit. John chapter number one, verse number one says,
-
and the beginning was the word. Amen. And the word
-
was with God. And the word was God. And if
-
you jump down to verse number 14, the Bible says
-
the word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we
-
beheld his glory full of grace and truth. God sent
-
his word. His word became flesh and dwelt among us.
-
Hebrews 4 and 12 says the word of God is
-
living and powerful and is sharper than any two-edged sword.
-
Cut in between the soul and the spirit, between joints
-
and marrow. It's his word that holds everything together. It's
-
his word that cleanse and wash us. It's his word
-
that carries us. It's his word that encourages us. It's
-
his word that strengthens us. It's his word that gives
-
us hope. It's his word that reminds us of his promises.
-
It's his word that helps us to transform our minds.
-
It's his word that helps us to pull down strongholds.
-
It's his word that helps us defeat the enemy. It's
-
his word, his truth, the word of God. He is
-
his word, and his word is him.
-
Give God glory for his word. One, two, three, tag,
-
you're it. And y'all, I'm closing.
-
I told y'all I wasn't going to be before y'all long,
-
in and out, point and preach. I got some long points,
-
but am I closing? I just came to encourage somebody.
-
I just came to remind somebody of the task that
-
has been.
-
Passed down to you.
-
You have been tagged to spread this gospel. You have
-
been called for such a time as this. You have
-
been chosen for such a time as this. And maybe
-
you've been tagged, but somewhere you fell off course. Or
-
you might even feel stuck. We want to pray with
-
you today.
-
Hallelujah. Maybe the Lord is tugging at your heart. Maybe
-
the gospel, you've heard the gospel. You've heard him knocking.
-
The day that you hear that knock, harden not your heart.
-
The day that you hear the Lord, harden not your heart.
-
Hallelujah. God want to restore you. God want to make
-
you whole. Harden not your heart.
-
The altar is open at this time. If you need
-
any kind of prayer, amen. At this time, we stand in.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah. If you need prayer
-
for anything, don't hesitate.
-
We are waiting for you. God is waiting for you.
-
God has placed you here for such a time as this.
-
God has placed us here for you. God has equipped us.
