When God Asks for Everything (Genesis 22) | Ps. Keith Pittman

And so the way that I kind of manage my finances is that I try not to have like all of my available money in my account at one given moment.

That's a little bit of my suspicion because I realize that people are constantly hacking.

And so I have just enough money in there to kind of handle the next couple of transactions.

So we went into this store when I was planning on on leaving.

And so Megan kind of convinced me, she's like, hey, I want to get this sweater for you.

I'm like, okay, cool.

But as we're walking up to go and check out, I realized in the moment, in the real time, I'm like, hey, I don't think we have enough money to carry this transaction.

So I had to make a decision.

So I was like, okay, let me just transfer some money over in order for me to do it.

But as I'm walking in the store, we must have been at the nexus of the universe because there was no signal available.

So here I am walking in the line, trying to move over just a couple of dollars to handle this transaction that was in front of us.

The pressure of people behind us and line, it's like they're beeping a horn, but they got nowhere to go.

So they're yelling at me, telling me to keep up.

But I'm walking up to the register and I'm just trying to transfer$25 over from one account to the next.

And that pressure, that, that, that, that anxiety was there.

And I hit the button.

I had just enough of a signal to hit the button, but I didn't get the confirmation.

And so now the lady's like, okay, it's time to swipe the card.

And there was this moment of profound fear.

I'm a 50-year-old man and I'm mad at this teenager who's looking at me and wondering if I have enough to cover the transaction.

And I remember watching as my card went through, me thinking and hoping, did it go through?

I'm looking at her facial expression with this sense of anxiety and stress, knowing, watch this.

I know that I had access to the resources, but there was something blocking my signal.

And I was wondering if it was going to go through.

And that sense of anxiety.

Well, it did go through.

I got my sweater, I was going to wear it next week.

Um, so it the transaction did go through, but watch this.

I was sitting there with that stress, with that anxiety, that sense of uh emotional uh vulnerability, wondering if it was going to go through, knowing that I had access, and God had helped me to understand that that this seems to be the landscape of many of us.

We we we have this idea that we know that God is infinite, we know that we have access in theory, but there's something that may be blocking our access because every time we swipe our faith and believing God for a breakthrough, it seems to be declined.

And if we're not careful, if we have enough things that we're believing God for and we don't see it, uh enough things that we've that we've we've said in Jesus' name too, and we still haven't seen the answer.

Not only do we recognize our limitations, but we often begin to project those same limitations onto God.

We would never say that with our words, but it's certainly found in our prayer life.

We would never say that God is limited, but we do stop seeking his face for the infinite.

So Paul then interrupts that moment of lament that sometimes we feel, and he tells us in Ephesians 3:20 as a reminder now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all you may ask or think according to the power that works in us.

Ephesians 3:20

This verse is not just poetic encouragement, but this verse is the very doctrine of our faith system.

It doesn't say that God is barely able, it doesn't say that God is sometimes able, but the text tells us that God is more than able, He is able to exceed anything that you can think of.

That in fact, where your imagination ends, that's just the beginning of what God wants to do in our lives.

And the Bible tells us in Genesis 22, it shows us a glimpse of what happens when a finite man walks with an infinite God in an impossible situation.

I want to read this text to us, and we're gonna pray and get into what God wants to speak to us today.

But in Genesis chapter 22, verses 1 through 14, the word of the Lord says this to us.

Genesis 22:1–14

After these things, God tested Abraham and said to him, Abraham, and he said, Here I am.

He said, Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains on which I will tell you.

So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and his son Isaac, and he cut the wood for the burnt offering and rose and went to the place that God had told him.

On the third day, Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.

Then Abraham said to his young men, Stay here with the donkey, and I and the boy will go over there and worship, and will come again to you.

And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on his son Isaac.

He took his hand and took the fire and the knife.

So they were both of them together.

And Isaac said to his father, Abraham, My father, he says, Here I am, my son.

He said, Behold the fire in the wood, but where's the lamb for a burnt offering?

And Abraham said, God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.

So they both went together.

And when they came to the place which God had told him, Abraham had built an altar there and laid the wood in order and bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar on top of the wood.

Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.

But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham, he said, Here I am.

He said, Do not lay a hand on a boy and do not do anything to him.

For now I know that you fear God, seeing that you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by the horns.

And when Abraham went and took the ram, he offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son.

So Abraham called the name of that place, the Lord will provide, as it is said to this day, on the mountain of the Lord, it shall be provided.

That's God's word for us today.

So I want to take a couple of moments to speak to us on the subject within this theme of God being more than able.

And I've entitled today's message able to provide.

Let's pray and let's see what God wants to speak to us today.

Lord, we thank you so much for your word.

So, Father, I just pray over the next few moments that you speak to us, that you stir our hearts, that as we enter into a new year, new season, new opportunities, Father, that it also renews our faith, that we can enlarge our vision of who you are and what you'll do.

Holy Spirit, you're welcome here.

I pray that you strengthen us, that you inspire us, that you challenge us, that you give us convictions, and that you order our steps.

We pray for open eyes and we can see you, open ears to hear your truth, and open hearts to receive everything that you have for us.

It's in Jesus' name that we pray.

Amen.

Amen and amen.

This is one of those passages that has perplexed me for years.

The text begins with a potent phrase and it says, After these things, God tested Abraham.

That word tested is Nisah.

In Hebrew, it means to determine if, to prove.

In other words, it means to test if something is original or authentic.

God testing Abraham makes us feel a little bit uncomfortable.

Because all of us know the feeling of feeling as if something is testing us in order to see if we're authentic or if we're real.

I'm pretty sure all of us can think of those moments maybe sitting in a classroom where there was a pop quiz, a test that you weren't anticipating, and it can almost feel as if it's a gotcha from God to test and see if you really do have it in you.

But the text shows us that when God is testing us, it is not to expose our areas of weakness, but more so reveal the things that are within us and an opportunity to invite him inside of us.

The truth of the matter is if something isn't tested, we just don't know.

And if we want to be real for a moment, let's talk for a moment.

I don't want the doctor who's never gone through a test.

I don't want the dentist that has never gone through a test.

I don't want the mental health therapist that has never gone through a test.

I don't want anyone driving on the road who's never actually had to take a test because as I drive on I-4, I get the sense there was a lot of people who didn't take the test.

We all understand that tests are important to reveal what's happening on inside of us, and actually, we recognize that tests are often necessary in order for us to graduate and go to the next level.

Some of my gamer friends know what that feels like.

That you go through a level and you're accumulating skills, and then at some point at the end of the level, you have to take the skills that you've accumulated to overcome the obstacle in order to make it to the next level.

I want you guys to hear me.

That maybe you feel like the past season was a giant test for you.

Maybe you feel like right now you're walking through a giant test.

But I assure you, God's desire is not to test you to keep you at a standstill, but his testing is meant to expose something deep on the inside of you so you can say, I didn't even know that prayer was on the inside of me when I'm dealing with such burdens.

I didn't know that when I'm dealing with this measure of oppression, that I would go and look out the God's word.

I didn't know that when I'm dealing with moments of struggle, that my response would be to invite community into it.

Sometimes tests they reveal our default response in moments of struggle.

The text tells us that it says, after these things.

Whenever you see that in the Bible, that's meant to be a summative statement that lets us know that some things have taken place before we read the text, and we have to consider those things as we look going forward.

After these things.

After, you with me?

After these things.

After these things, the text tells us that in Genesis chapter 12, that that God approached Abraham and brought him on a journey.

Genesis 12 · chapter mention

This sword journey had taken him from mountaintops to valleys to struggles to disappointments.

But nonetheless, for 25 years, Abraham had been walking with God and building his faith and growing in his understanding of God's word, trying to figure out what it means to lead his family, not take matters in his own hand.

And after all of these tests, after all of these struggles, after these highlights, and after these disappointments, he finally has arrived at a space where it appears as if he received everything he had been praying for.

His promised son Isaac is now here.

The very motivation for him leaving his family to make a family and a name for himself through his legacy.

All of the things are in place.

He has wealth, he has resources, he has land, he has his wife, he has his children, and it's in this space.

After these things that God says to him, I want you to take that thing that you cherish most.

I want you to take that gift that I placed inside of your hand, and I want you to give him back to me.

What do you do when God touches what you treasure?

The text tells us that God doesn't mince words in this moment.

In fact, when you read it, he adds great emotional depth to the request.

He says, I want you to take your son, comma, your only son, comma, the son whom you love, comma, Isaac, comma, and bring him to me.

He wanted to make sure that Abraham knew exactly what he was talking about.

He wanted to make sure that he understood the emotional request that he was making.

Your only son, that entity that carries on your legacy, and I want you to bring him to me.

Now, for Abraham, you have to understand that he came from a family culture, belief system where there are other pagan deities that would often require child sacrifice.

So Abraham was familiar with other gods requiring such things.

But he honestly thought that when God had called him out, that when God had invited him into fellowship with him, that he was thinking that my God is different.

That my God is gonna be different than the other gods that I've been exposed to.

My God's gonna be different than the suffering that I've seen before.

But but what do you do when you're trusting God and you're thinking that this time it's gonna be different, but it seems to bring you right back to the same pain point.

I thought that this year was gonna be different.

I I honestly thought that this relationship was going to be different.

I I thought that when I started serving God, I wouldn't have to deal with this level of disappointment.

I I thought that when I declared the name of Jesus that I wouldn't have to deal with this measure of setback.

Oh my friends, all of us have that space where we honestly believe that because I'm following God, it would allow me to circumvent certain pain points.

But the Bible shows that even though this pain was familiar, that being a fellowship with Yahweh was not going to make him be isolated from what was being required of him.

That indeed was the test.

And the text tells us that it gets very uncomfortable because he begins to speak about Isaac as being the embodiment of his legacy, the embodiment of his hope.

And if we're honest with ourselves, every single one of us has a proverbial Isaac, a gift that God has given us.

The very thing that if we're not careful, our identity can begin to lean on.

The thing that if we're honest with ourselves, we could often say, I don't know if I could live without that thing.

For some of us, it could just be our money, our resources.

We've placed a life of having such confidence in our money.

For others, it could be a relationship.

We've been waiting for so long to find the right person that hopefully I can find that relationship that's gonna help me to feel fulfilled, that's gonna help me to feel satisfied, and before long, that relationship becomes an idol in and of itself.

For others, it could be a career.

For some of us, it's our children.

For others, it can be our autonomy.

Because we live in a world where we certainly love our autonomy, our ability to stay unplanted, our ability to kind of govern ourselves by our own rules, that ability to lack accountability.

But sometimes God will often touch what he puts in our hands to ensure that it doesn't become a throne in our hearts.

To ensure that the very gift that I gave you doesn't turn into an idol that separates you from me.

So Abraham is now torn at a place where he has to trust God's divine promises or to feel as if he has to give them up in order to be obedient or rebellious.

The Bible tells us that as Abraham is confronted with this reality, that the next morning, somebody say next morning.

Next morning, he rises up early with no explanation, no recorded argument, no negotiation that we see in scripture, and he just obeys what God says.

That is so perplexing to me.

It is so confusing to me that Abraham went 25 years and went through all types of challenges to finally be at this point where he now has his promised son.

His son is getting older, he's becoming mature in the faith, and God speaks to him and says, I want you to bring him to me.

And the text tells us the very next morning.

No compromising, no negotiating.

The next morning he gets up and he does it.

How does Abraham have the faith?

How does he have the confidence?

What was that conversation like with Sarah?

What did he say to Sarah that night?

Like, hey, listen, me and my son, we're gonna go on a camping trip.

And one of us may not make it back.

What is that interaction like for Abraham to take his only begotten son, his promised son, and he raises him up and he walks him towards this place of sacrifice.

The book of Hebrews gives us a glimpse into the mindset of Abraham at this time.

The text tells us in Hebrews chapter 11, verses 17 through 19, it says, by faith, Abraham offered up Isaac because he considered God that if he was going to require Isaac of him, he was so convinced that he would resurrect him.

Hebrews 11:17–19

He had such strong faith that he honestly believed that even if you require this of me, I trust your promises so deeply, so intimately, that if this is what you require from me, you're gonna provide a resurrection resource for me.

In other words, what Abraham was saying is, God, I don't know how this ends, but I do know you.

If you promised it, then I know that you can provide for it.

And if you've allowed it, then I know that you can indeed redeem it.

That is potency.

That's not hype, but that is faith with true backbone attached to it.

And here's what I love.

Abraham didn't wake up in that morning and take a vote in his soul to determine whether he was going to follow God's instructions.

He didn't look in the mirror and say, because of the the discomfort of the request, do I still believe?

Do I still trust?

Do I feel settled in my spirit?

No, Abraham had settled a long time ago that his life belongs to God.

So we don't get Genesis 22 if we don't first go to Genesis 12.

He was not making a new decision, he was simply making a choice to support the decision that he already made.

My friends, I want you guys to hear me, but this is why many of us we keep failing the tests that are presented in front of us.

Not because we don't love God, but because we keep trying to decide something that we should have already decided.

We find ourselves in a place of saying, Am I going to be generous today?

Well, that should have already been decided when you gave your life to God.

And am I going to serve today?

Well, that should have already been decided when you recognize that being a follower of Christ requires you to become a servant.

Am I going to be pursue holiness today?

Because I'm in this relationship right now and it's a little bit more difficult.

But when I'm not in a relationship, I can post about why it's important to be holy.

But am I going to be am I going to pursue holiness today?

But that should have already been decided before you found yourself in that relationship.

Am I going to forgive today?

But that should have already been decided when you gave your life to Christ.

Am I going to seek the help that I need today?

My friends, that is not discipleship, that is spiritual timeshare.

Because oftentimes we Airbnb our commitment to God and we give him room depending on the season.

When life is low, we pray.

But when it's up, we coast.

When we need him and we're feeling good, we book our schedules.

But when we're struggling, we're going to be the first ones at the church.

But when you've decided in your soul, I'm not making a new decision.

I'm going to make choices to support a decision that I've already made.

And I know for me in my house, I have decided that we're going to follow Jesus.

And there may be some seasons where things are required of me that feels a little bit uncomfortable, but I go back to that first decision when the Bible says, take up your cross and follow him.

And sometimes my cross will lead me to some places of discomfort.

Sometimes that cross will make me struggle a little bit.

But I have decided a long time ago that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

We shouldn't have to make choices on things that God has already commissioned us to do.

My question is, have you decided?

Because when you don't know, but you know the God that you serve, even in the midst of the fog, you wake up early and you walk it out.

Because real faith doesn't walk when it's light.

Real faith builds light even while you're still walking in the midst of the darkness.

The text tells us that Abraham gathers his children or his son.

He gathers two men with him and they begin this journey.

And the text says, three days later, three days later, they see off in the distance the location that God says, This is the spot that I want you to offer the sacrifice.

Three days later.

Three days of walking, three days of just trusting God, three days of not knowing where he's going.

But three days later, God says, That is the space that I need you to offer the sacrifice.

And what's interesting in this moment is that Abraham has helpers with him.

Abraham has a donkey that has been carrying the load with him.

But Abraham gets to this space and he sees the mountain in the distance and he says, You guys stay here, and me and the boy are going to go up to worship.

So Abraham takes the wood off of the donkey, he places it on his son, he tells his servants to stay behind, and he begins the journey of going up in order to worship God.

If we're not careful, we can miss this.

But this is so significant.

Because on this journey, Abraham had a system to support him.

That system was the donkey.

On this journey, Abraham had people to help him.

The people were his servants.

But now he was going to a place where everybody couldn't go with him.

I'm not sure if you caught that.

Because the Bible tells us that the mountains were often a place that represented the meeting space with God.

He understood that in a previous season, I can rely on the systems that have got me up to this point.

In a previous season, I can rely on the people that are around me.

But in order for me to truly get into the presence of God, everybody can't go.

That means that there are gonna be some things in your life that some people Can't walk with you into it.

There's going to be certain altitudes that God is trying to take you to in this new season that some people just won't understand.

And so I believe that for many of us, the reason why we haven't made it to our destination is because we keep slowing down and hoping that everybody's going to make the trip with us.

But after walking with God for three decades myself, I realize that some people come for times and seasons, but my mission never changes.

There may be somebody just with me this year, but they may not be with me next year, but my focus stays the same.

Everybody can't make the trip.

Everybody's not going to understand why you worship.

Everyone's not going to understand why you give.

Everyone's not going to understand why you serve.

So if they don't understand it, I love you.

We will cross paths when the holidays come, but God is calling me to another level, and I refuse to stay here any longer because it's a new season.

And if I want to see the more than able in my life, I gotta be willing and able to step out of my comfort zone.

Y'all are talking to me today.

Everybody can't come with you when you're trying to go to the next level.

As Abraham is now walking with just his son, his son is now becoming very aware of the circumstances.

He's been with his father enough to know what worship looks like.

He sees the ingredients of worship that are there, but he sees a potent element that is missing.

Dad, I see that we have fire.

That's great.

I see that we have wood.

That's great.

I see that you have a knife, that's amazing.

What I don't see is where's the sacrifice, Dad?

Now this lets us know that Isaac was old enough to be aware of what was going on.

He was aware that he was walking up a mountain and he could see that all of the elements weren't there.

And if I could be honest with you, if I'm Isaac and I'm looking around and I'm seeing that something's missing, I'm beginning to ask questions too.

I mean, at this point, Abraham's probably like 112 years old.

I'm pushing him off the mountain and telling the servants that he slipped.

Oh, I don't know what happened, but I'm the promised one, so the party still keeps going.

Like, there's no way that I'm gonna walk up this mountaintop and truly trust myself in the hands of my father.

But Isaac's faith was one of such deep commitment that he was willing to surrender his life into the hands of his father because he knew that in his father he was in good hands.

The Bible tells us that he asked the question, where is the sacrifice?

And I suspect for many of us, we asked the same question even today.

God, I see the pressure, I see the bill, I see the diagnosis, I see the broken relationship, I see the fire, I see the wood.

Where's the answer?

Where's the job?

Where's the breakthrough?

Where's the healing?

Where's the way forward?

But then Abraham's response in this moment is our declaration in this series, in this year.

Abraham says something profoundly prophetic.

He says, God himself will provide.

I'm not sure if you caught that.

But Abraham, when walking up the mountain, in the midst of his grief, in the midst of his fear, he was able to make a faith declaration that we're walking into a very difficult situation, but God himself will provide.

This is not delusion, but this is a declaration of faith.

As Abraham is prepared to literally lay his son's life down, the scripture says that God intervenes.

That God says, I see that you will not withhold anything from me.

And it's in this moment that Abraham then looks up and he sees off in the distance there's a ram in the thicket.

Now I want you to understand that that ram didn't materialize out of thin air.

That while Abraham was receiving this assignment from God, that this ram was with a herd walking around.

And as Abraham was spending that three days walking towards that mountain, that ram was also walking up a mountain.

And then as Abraham was preparing to separate himself from his community so he can offer that sacrifice to God, that ram got stuck in the thicket.

What I want you to understand is that provision was already making its way to Abraham's situation, but Abraham had to position himself in order to see him.

Many times we don't even recognize that when God is calling us to go to another level, that he already has provision and things that are lining up, but we just got to position ourselves to see it.

That sometimes my obedience, it gives me a perspective that my rebellion would have never seen.

So I want you to put this deep in your spirit that God's provision is often revealed on the other side of your surrender.

I may not see it right now.

I certainly don't feel it right now, but as I say yes to the Lord, I begin to get an aspect of things that I thought I would never see before.

God tells us that as Abraham is walking up the mountain and the ram is in the thicket, that he then locks eyes with his redemption.

I look towards the hills from which cometh my help.

The Bible tells us that the help is coming from above, that the help is coming from the Lord.

And I want to encourage somebody right now that maybe you're going through a season of sacrifice, that maybe you're going through a season of surrender, that it may seem insurmountable, but I assure you that if God is requiring something of you, that if you're going through a test, that there will be provision on the other side of your surrender.

God provides when we're obedient, He provides where He guides us, and He provides for us when it is time.

When it's time.

When we get into the right spot, when we get in the right position, God will reveal the provision for us.

And the truth of the matter is that provision can take many forms.

For Abraham, the provision was a substitute to take the place of his son.

But for others of us, that provision can be strength.

For others, that provision can be perspective.

It can be a clarity.

But God's provision, it looks different depending on what God is calling us to do.

We've all been there where we're praying and believing God for something.

And we're believing for a very specific outcome.

And we're believing that God's going to give you the breakthrough exactly as you see it.

But it looks a little bit different.

But somehow, some way, he sustained you even in that discomfort.

It sounds a lot like the words of Paul where he says that God's grace is sufficient.

So his provision is not only an outcome, but his provision is also his presence.

Last week, Megan and I and a couple of us from the church, we um we had an opportunity to be a part and witness something that was very challenging.

We were able to witness a it's called a a walk of fame.

And ultimately what that is is that when when someone passes away, the family makes a decision to donate their organs.

And so the walk of fame is when that person is being walked off to surgery so that their eyes and other things can be given to help others.

I never witnessed something like that before, and it was profoundly emotional because prior to us coming to that moment, we had been believing God for healing.

We had been praying and believing God for a miracle for this family.

And now here we are on the other side of it, on a long hallway, tears, emotions.

It was overwhelming.

And at the end of the whole experience, which was honoring, it was powerful, it was beautiful, but it was messy, we were all in the lobby just kind of waiting.

And and the father came downstairs, and there was an applause for him, and he stood in the midst of what I would believe to be hundreds of people, and he just began to declare the goodness of God.

He's like, I am so thankful that God would entrust me to steward my son for the times that I had him.

And I'm I'm an emotional mess.

I have three children, I have three grandchildren.

I I can't even imagine it.

And nothing messes with your theology more than knowing that God is able to heal, but he doesn't.

This was messing with me.

And as I was sitting there and wiping my eyes and looking at the emotions, but also finding this crazy amount of strength that was coming from this father through his tears, God said, My provision looks like strength for this man.

I'm with them and I know you don't see it, but I'm strengthening them in this very moment.

And what I realized for some of us is maybe we're going through a season of grief.

Maybe we're walking into a space where we're trying to reconcile and make sense of certain things in our life, and in church on Sundays, we we declare these in result type of statements.

God's able to heal, he's able to resurrect, he's able to do these things, and guess what?

All of those things are true, but he's also able to sit with you in your pain.

He's able to sit with you in your disappointment, and he's able to give you the strength that you need to walk through situations you never thought you would encounter.

With every head bowed and every eye closed, I want to lead us to a space where we can, even with tears, even with disappointment, recognize that God is with you and that his provision for you is his presence.

God is able to comfort you.

He is more than able to strengthen you, he is more than able to help you endure, but he is also more than able to heal.

He is more than able to redeem, he is more than able to break chains.

So my question for us is what do you believe in God for?

What do you need to invite God into?

Is it healing?

He's more than able.

Is it freedom?

It's more than able.

Is it resurrection power?

He is more than able.

But if it's comfort, he's also more than able.

If you believe in God for a miracle of sorts, I want you to signify by lifting up a hand on account of three.

One, two, three.

Amen.

Amen.

Hands up everywhere.

Our walk with God is personal, but it's not private.

Keep your hands up.

Because this is the year that we're not going to shrink back from the areas that we're inviting God into.

I want you to look around and see that you're not alone.

And me having my hand up here is not symbolic.

I am with you.

There are things that I'm believing God for.

And I realize that for some of us, the outcome may be the very thing that God does, or he may strengthen us as we walk through it.

Because the Bible tells us that Paul's life, he said, there are many things that you may suffer for my name's sake, and that maybe God will use the way that we walk through this season as a testimony that draws others to Christ.

I want us to stand on our feet as we prepare to go into a song to just declare that God is more than able.

But as we do this, I want to speak a word over every single one of us.

Keep your hands lifted up.

Everybody lift their hands up, keep them lifted up.

Father, you see every hand that's lifted in this space.

And Father, we have the opportunity to recognize that there are going to be moments where, much like Abraham and Isaac, that you ask us to lay something down and your provision is on the other side of our surrender.

And that provision can look like a miracle that we never saw coming.

That provision could be your presence, that provision could be your strength.

But regardless of what that provision looks like, our faith says is anchored and it says that God, you are more than able.

And so we anchor ourselves in that truth.

So, Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray over every precious soul that is believing you for a miracle, whether it's healing, whether it's signs and wonders, whether it's a clarity, whether it's a job opportunity, whatever it is that we're believing you for, God, our faith statement says that we know that you are more than able.

So right now, we take that thing and we lay it at the foot of the altar, knowing that the provision will be revealed as we bring it to you.

So, in the name of Jesus, as we sing this song as a declaration of faith with every ounce of confidence inside of us, we know that you are more than able, and we lay it down at the foot of the cross and we invite you into our situation.

In the name of Jesus, we invite you in God.
