  1. God. Let's ride. Amen.

  2. Listen, happy Mother's Day to everybody

  3. and happy Mother's Day to my mother who

  4. is watching. We had to share her this

  5. Mother's Day as she went to go be with

  6. my older brother, but mama, I know you

  7. watching and Terry, you got her this

  8. year, but hopefully the Lord will let us

  9. have her next year. Amen. But listen, we

  10. are so uh thankful to be here today and

  11. I'm excited about the message today.

  12. I am because because you know as a as a

  13. preacher, as a minister, bishop's

  14. training me and getting me ready and uh

  15. I have experienced the uh conundrum

  16. [Applause]

  17. that a preacher can bring in on a

  18. holiday like today.

  19. And that is because you're trying to

  20. figure out something to say that's going

  21. to help the mothers. And if you've been

  22. with us any amount of time, you know,

  23. over the last few weeks, Bishop has been

  24. teaching and leading us through a

  25. financial series. And so I said, "Lord,

  26. how in the world is this going to help

  27. the mothers?" And he said, "No, Trev,

  28. this will help the mothers." That's

  29. right. Stay right on the track. B say

  30. right on this track with this financial

  31. series because what a mother wants is

  32. for her child to be able to stand on

  33. their own two feet financially.

  34. [Applause]

  35. What a mother wants is for her child to

  36. be able to provide for themselves and

  37. prepare for their own future. What a

  38. mother wants is for that child to be

  39. able to walk up to them every now and

  40. then and slip $20 in their hands and not

  41. ask for $20 for their phone bill.

  42. So staying on this track financially is

  43. helping mama.

  44. Somebody say happy Mother's Day. Happy

  45. Mother's Day.

  46. So with that being said, we will

  47. conclude our financial series today. And

  48. uh we have been talking about Bishop's

  49. been teaching on living covenant

  50. conscious financially. And today we want

  51. to talk uh from the thought you know we

  52. tend to remember thoughts. I want you to

  53. kind of pin this moving from want to to

  54. the means to.

  55. Moving from want to to the means to. We

  56. have been in this financial series.

  57. Bishop has been teaching us about

  58. covenant. We are covenant conscious all

  59. year long and we've been learning about

  60. being covenant conscious financially.

  61. And we know that a covenant is a binding

  62. oath or agreement between two parties

  63. that is cut by

  64. sacrifice, usually blood, but always

  65. something precious. And it has

  66. privileges and promises. It have rights

  67. and responsibilities. And the whole

  68. point of the covenant, it is intended to

  69. do a few things. It is intended uh to

  70. produce confidence,

  71. clarity, and carefulness.

  72. And not only is this covenant uh

  73. something that is supposed to impact our

  74. lives, but it's also supposed to impact

  75. our money. That this covenant is

  76. supposed to produce in us financial

  77. confidence,

  78. financial clarity, and financial

  79. carefulness.

  80. carefulness not just in how I live but

  81. also in what I'm looking for. Bishop

  82. gave us four words from the onset. She

  83. gave us attitude, alignment, awareness,

  84. and action. The first thing she said,

  85. Kanan, is that you and I must have an

  86. attitude shift that no matter what we've

  87. experienced here before, we need an

  88. attitude adjustment and realize that God

  89. wants us blessed.

  90. Yeah. You know, we've been we've been

  91. free. That's the reason he made us. It

  92. says, "Whom the Son sets free is free

  93. indeed. And we're not just to be free

  94. indeed, but we're also to be free in

  95. dough." That God wants us free in our

  96. money. That Pharaoh tried to talk the

  97. children of Israel into leaving their

  98. money, but they said, "We can't leave

  99. our money because we don't know how God

  100. wants to use us or who he wants to use

  101. us to bless."

  102. I have to have an attitude adjustment.

  103. God said in Deuteronomy 8:18, he said,

    Deuteronomy 8:18

  104. "I've given you power to get wealth." I

  105. don't care if you had to scrape money to

  106. catch the bus to get here. You got to

  107. have an attitude adjustment and realize

  108. that God wants you blessed.

  109. I want us to make a confession real

  110. quick. I need you to repeat after me.

  111. Say, "Money is not my problem." Money is

  112. not my problem. Increase is my portion.

  113. Increase is my portion. You got to have

  114. an attitude adjustment. If you are just

  115. waiting to see it before you say it,

  116. you'll never see it. You need an

  117. attitude adjustment. Say, "Money is not

  118. my problem." Money is not my problem.

  119. Increase is my portion. I know you walk

  120. past a whole stack of bills on your way

  121. out the door to church, but declare,

  122. "Money is not my problem. Money is not

  123. my problem. Increase is my portion.

  124. Increase my We have to have an attitude

  125. adjustment.

  126. Secondly, she said that we have to live

  127. in alignment.

  128. We cannot expect God to bless us when we

  129. are out of alignment with his word

  130. financially.

  131. I cannot believe for heaven's best and

  132. declare what the promises of God over my

  133. life if I am stealing from God.

  134. If I am robbing God, can I even say, "Oh

  135. Lord, I don't want to get in trouble."

  136. But but even the scripture in

  137. Philippians, we declare it but we have

  138. to declare it the right way. Paul says,

  139. "My God shall supply all your need

  140. according to his riches and glory." But

  141. he was declaring that over people who

  142. has sown into his life.

  143. Those who were in alignment and sewing

  144. into his life, he was declaring that

  145. blessing over. You can't declare that

  146. blessing if you're not in that in that

  147. level of alignment.

  148. I feel it now. The joy just went out the

  149. room. Yeah, it did. I felt it.

  150. But but Bishop teaches us we can't

  151. change without truth.

  152. We can't change without truth. So I want

  153. to declare that over my life. I need to

  154. get in alignment with the promise.

  155. So I have to have an attitude

  156. adjustment. I have to have an alignment

  157. in my life. And I just want to park here

  158. for just a moment because we also have

  159. to have an awareness.

  160. We have to be aware that the world has a

  161. plan.

  162. We have to be aware that the world has a

  163. plan. And and not only must we be aware

  164. of their plan, we must be aware of our

  165. own plan.

  166. Now, Bishop gave us first of all, she

  167. gave us some scriptures the first week

  168. that she wanted us to highlight in our

  169. Bibles. You can find the the scriptures.

  170. Uh you go to kccfamily.com, click on

  171. resources, and you can find those

  172. scriptures. Get those scriptures

  173. highlighted in your Bible.

  174. No. See, see, see this this this is why

  175. I'm I'm so thankful for this opportunity

  176. because Paul told Timothy in first, he

  177. told Timothy in 1 Timothy chapter 4, he

    1 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  178. said, "You're a good minister if you put

  179. the people in remembrance of what

  180. they've already been taught." Amen.

  181. And so I want you to make sure that you

  182. go and get those scriptures and

  183. highlight them in your Bible and read

  184. over them. That's what she told us to do

  185. the first week of the financial series.

  186. Then she came back and she told us that

  187. we were made for it and that we need to

  188. be in a have an awareness of not only

  189. the world's plan, but we have to have a

  190. plan of our own. Now, y'all sent my

  191. pastor into an emotional abyss last week

  192. cuz she asked, "Who did your financial

  193. plan?" And she said, "Only 15 hands went

  194. up.

  195. We trying to get her to hold on to

  196. December 14th, but I declare y'all

  197. almost pushed her to May."

  198. But but but the reason is the reason why

  199. she wants you to do that and to get the

  200. spending plan in place is because the

  201. spending plan is the key to turn this

  202. thing around financially.

  203. You underline the scriptures. You pray.

  204. You sow seed. You give. You're supposed

  205. to do those things. But if you and I

  206. don't have a plan for our money, if we

  207. don't tell the money where to go, we'll

  208. spend all of our time wondering where it

  209. went.

  210. How many of you have ever got paid on

  211. Friday and looked up on Monday and

  212. didn't look like Friday ever came?

  213. That's just because we didn't have a

  214. plan for our money.

  215. We we we have to have a plan. We have to

  216. take some time to tell it where to go so

  217. we don't spend all of our time wondering

  218. where it went. Catch this. When you have

  219. a spending plan, just let me get through

  220. this. When you have a spending plan,

  221. it'll do a couple of things. Number one,

  222. it will remove many of the money fights

  223. from your marriage.

  224. No, it will remove many of the money

  225. fights in your marriage because you want

  226. to do one thing, she wants to do

  227. another. Nobody has talked and so

  228. consequently we have conflict.

  229. And so instead of us talking, we choose

  230. quiet over real peace. That's right.

  231. You take your check and you go that way

  232. and I'm going to take my check and I'mma

  233. go this way.

  234. But if we're going to ever have the real

  235. synergy and energy that God has designed

  236. for marriage, you want to do it

  237. together. Can I tell you, you are much

  238. better together than you ever could be

  239. apart.

  240. Can I tell you that you can do more than

  241. just make babies when you get together?

  242. [Applause]

  243. You can put some devils on the run

  244. financially if you would just get

  245. together.

  246. Yes, it calls for compromise. Kesha, I

  247. see you back there.

  248. You and my my my barber raised a sharp

  249. rust.

  250. You all are a picture of what you can

  251. move when you get together.

  252. Scotty and Hope, I see y'all over there.

  253. You two are a picture of what you can do

  254. when you get together. No, it's not

  255. easy.

  256. Cuz she got her way and I got mine.

  257. But if you ever get together, if you can

  258. just do the work of talking through and

  259. working through and compromising and

  260. giving up a little just to get a little,

  261. you'll be That wasn't the way I was

  262. talking about that, but y'all

  263. It'll help that

  264. too. Oh, y'all ain't going. Y'all

  265. already know your coaching. It'll help

  266. that

  267. too. But if we can get together

  268. financially, it'll help remove some of

  269. the money fights, money problems in our

  270. marriage. Number two, it will remove

  271. much of the guilt, shame, and fear that

  272. may now be a part of buying necessary

  273. items. If we can get a financial plan,

  274. then I won't feel guil the guilt or the

  275. shame or the fear when I go to the

  276. grocery store. You know, Bishop preached

  277. about that on on on uh resurrection

  278. weekend about going to the grocery store

  279. and being at the register and you're not

  280. sure if you got enough and you sitting

  281. there pay you you praying while that

  282. little thing is spinning and you're just

  283. hoping that it's going to say approved.

  284. When you have a spending plan, you don't

  285. have to be nervous at that point because

  286. when I have spent when I have told my

  287. money where to go and I know I got $200

  288. for these groceries and it comes and I

  289. know I only have in my cart about 150.

  290. I'm not nervous.

  291. I'm just waiting.

  292. When it's spinning, I'm not I'm not

  293. nervous. Something must be wrong with

  294. your Wi-Fi cuz I did my budget and I

  295. know I got enough. Check your signal.

  296. It will remove much of the guilt, shame,

  297. and fear that comes when we we're buying

  298. necessary items. Number three, when we

  299. have a spending plan, when we walking it

  300. out, when we're we when we have the

  301. spending plan and we're operating by it,

  302. it's not just a document that's sitting

  303. on the table, but when I actually use it

  304. and live by it, it will show if you have

  305. overspending in an area.

  306. It will show overspending in an area.

  307. Solomon Solomon the Song of Solomon

Song of Solomon 2 chapter mention

  308. chapter 2 verse5 says catch the foxes

  309. the little foxes that spoil the vine.

  310. Can I tell you that the that spending

  311. plan will reveal where the money's

  312. going.

  313. Yeah. That spending plan will reveal.

  314. Now you might not want to look at it but

  315. we want to look at it through eyes of

  316. faith to see where this money is going.

  317. You have an idea now but once you start

  318. doing a spending plan you it'll be

  319. become crystal clear.

  320. Can you give me my next slide? What my

  321. slide where it says hold on give me the

  322. slide that says my

  323. outgo spending plan.

  324. It's critical for me to do a spending

  325. plan because it will reveal overspending

  326. in my life. And that is important

  327. because if my outgo is more than my

  328. income, then my upkeep will be my

  329. downfall.

  330. If my

  331. outgoing

  332. out is more than my income of what's

  333. coming in, then to keep that up will

  334. ultimately be my downfall.

  335. I I can't keep it up. And so doing a

  336. spending plan will show me the areas of

  337. where it is too high. Not for

  338. condemnation but so that I can change.

  339. It's not for me to feel bad but it is so

  340. that I can make the adjustment and so

  341. that I can become and do and be

  342. everything that God has called for me to

  343. be.

  344. Ah so we want to make sure that we do

  345. the spinning plan. The spending plan.

  346. What is that? That's simply giving every

  347. dollar a name. Some of it is named

  348. mortgage. Some of it is named rent. Some

  349. of his name groceries. Some of it is

  350. named gas. For some is named retirement.

  351. Yes sir. That's your word in the Some of

  352. it is retirement.

  353. Car insurance.

  354. Some of it some of you are at the place

  355. as Bishop always say everybody's not in

  356. debt. That's right. No. There's some

  357. people that I'm talking to right now.

  358. you have more money than you can shake a

  359. stick at. That's right. But this is for

  360. you as well because you want to tell

  361. your money where to go and be

  362. intentional with it and manage it

  363. properly. You've all you've already been

  364. doing it.

  365. You've already been doing you've been

  366. making headway and and making

  367. adjustments in your life. I want to

  368. encourage you to continue do that

  369. because at this point now you simply

  370. want to leave a legacy. Maybe that's

  371. what you want to do for the next

  372. generation. The spending plan helps us

  373. to do that.

  374. Boy, that's good. That's good.

  375. So, the spending plan is a tool to help

  376. you get to where it is you want to

  377. be. Now, I want to encourage you one

  378. more thing before I move on to action is

  379. that I don't want you to do this alone.

  380. Married people already have instant

  381. accountability.

  382. Amen. Cuz every time when I swipe that

  383. card, I got to come home, my God, and

  384. give an account.

  385. No. And and understand something. As a

  386. man, I'm not any less of a man.

  387. Oh Lord. Oh, I just love this. I'm not

  388. any less of a

  389. man. There are times in my life where I

  390. can get so excited with the debit card

  391. that I need to come and lay it on the

  392. dresser.

  393. My pride can't be be bigger than the

  394. plan we have.

  395. No, I'm going to lay the card on the

  396. dress for a period of time till I get

  397. myself together and start eating that

  398. home and getting that down.

  399. I can't let my pride be bigger than the

  400. plan, than the goal, than the desire,

  401. than the dreams that we have. No, I'm

  402. gonna lay it down.

  403. Boy, that's good.

  404. So, I I I want don't don't do it alone.

  405. So married people, you already have that

  406. accountability. Singles,

  407. I want you to find somebody that you can

  408. trust and you can share with them what

  409. it is you're trying to do. Now, maybe

  410. you don't share your whole spending

  411. plan. You got to you got to navigate

  412. that and figure it out. But you need

  413. somebody in your life that you can

  414. bounce these things off of. And catch

  415. this, they need to be the kind of person

  416. who is willing to hurt your feelings.

  417. Yeah. No, you tell them that you on a

  418. spending plan and they come up and see

  419. you with your nails done, they going to

  420. ask you.

  421. Not in a mean way. But they're going to

  422. ask you, didn't you say you wanted to do

  423. this, this, and don't get mad with them.

  424. What they are doing is just being

  425. accountability for you and helping you

  426. to stay in alignment with what it is you

  427. said you want to do. Boy, this is good.

  428. So, so we have action. We had to make an

  429. attitude adjustment. Excuse me. We had

  430. an attitude. We have to be in alignment.

  431. We have awareness. And then on this past

  432. Wednesday night, our pastor talked about

  433. action. If you did not watch last

  434. Wednesday's Bible study, I need you to

  435. go watch it because she talked to us

  436. about taking action. And the first

  437. action that we need to take is that we

  438. need to look in. We need to look inward

  439. and find out what it is because money is

  440. all around us. That's right. That that

  441. was the whole premise of of Wednesday

  442. night is that money and resources are

  443. all around us and we have to take

  444. action. And the first action that we

  445. take is not going to ask somebody for

  446. something. The first action that we take

  447. is that we have to look in.

  448. What do I do? Well,

  449. that can help make me more money.

  450. What skills do I have? Yeah, some of you

  451. have an amazing

  452. voice and you could take that voice and

  453. start making money with your voice.

  454. And because you're used to your voice,

  455. you don't think anybody will pay you for

  456. it. But one of the biggest things I

  457. believe we got out of the Wednesday

  458. night is don't minimize what you have.

  459. If Bishop could have cut our head open

  460. and poured it in us, she would have.

  461. Don't minimize what you have. Don't

  462. minimize that skill you have. Don't

  463. minimize that ability that you have.

  464. You have something in you that can help

  465. you make money.

  466. What do I have in me? Not only should I

  467. look in, but Bishop said, "We need to

  468. look around."

  469. What is it that is around me that can

  470. help me make money?

  471. Oh, I can't put our business in the

  472. road. But somebody called me on Bible

  473. study was Wednesday. Somebody called me

  474. on

  475. Thursday and said,

  476. "Trey, I'm about to sell some stuff."

  477. Catch this. They didn't have to They

  478. didn't have to Oh, Lord. Thank you,

  479. Jesus. They didn't have to take the word

  480. and wait a whole week and fast and pray

  481. about it. Bishop preached the word on

  482. Wednesday. Thursday morning, they got up

  483. and they got some stuff together to

  484. sell. And by lunchtime, they sold three

  485. items.

  486. I know you can't I know you can't

  487. rejoice, but let me tell you, it was a

  488. single mom who's making adjustments in

  489. her life. And she said, "Trey, I just

  490. sold enough stuff to have money for my

  491. phone bill this month."

  492. Now, I know that's not a

  493. lot, but can I tell you, it's like she

  494. got a raise

  495. because instead of taking that $120 from

  496. her the income that she had, she found

  497. the money in her house.

  498. [Applause]

  499. Oh, she had another idea. I can't give

  500. this one

  501. away. But she had something in the house

  502. that she was using and she said, "I can

  503. use this for a business. Something that

  504. was already sitting there."

  505. Now, I need y'all to understand

  506. something that was already She didn't

  507. have to go out and buy another piece of

  508. machinery to start making money. She

  509. opened her eyes and started looking

  510. around at what was already here.

  511. You and I got to take action.

  512. Before we look out to ask anybody

  513. anything,

  514. look in,

  515. look around,

  516. and ask God, God, what do I have already

  517. that can help me move forward to what it

  518. is you're calling me to? What do I have

  519. that can help me be the person that you

  520. call? You've called me to be a help.

  521. You've called me to be a blessing.

  522. You've given me power to get wealth so

  523. that I could establish your covenant.

  524. What do I have in me? What do I have

  525. around me to do that?

  526. Huh? Now, I know you're asking, "Why did

  527. you take all that time for that review?"

  528. Amen. Cuz we need it.

  529. But I

  530. believe that God wants us and he's been

  531. leading us and teaching us and talking

  532. to us to prepare us because we want to

  533. be the kind of people that move from

  534. want to to having the means to. Yes.

  535. See, what I love about this kind of

  536. church and being under this kind of

  537. leadership, you can't be here any length

  538. of time and not develop a heart of

  539. compassion for other people. If you are

  540. a cornerian, a part of your DNA is to

  541. want to help somebody along the way. A

  542. part of your DNA is to want to be a

  543. blessing to somebody on whatever level I

  544. can.

  545. Woo.

  546. I want to do that. It's a part of who I

  547. am.

  548. And I thank God for the want to. Can I

  549. just thank God for the want to for

  550. because there were times in my life

  551. where I didn't have the want to to do

  552. right.

  553. Oh, Re Randy, I wish I could just tell

  554. it. This jacket is nice. But you need to

  555. understand, I didn't always want to do

  556. right.

  557. I didn't I didn't always want to follow

  558. God. I didn't always want to serve God.

  559. I didn't want to always give God my all.

  560. I didn't want Oh, Lord. I don't know if

  561. I can be this real honest. Can I I

  562. didn't want I There was a time in my

  563. life I didn't want to put porn down.

  564. That's right.

  565. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't Some things I

  566. didn't want to do. That's right. Even

  567. when I knew the knew the reason why I

  568. should do it, I didn't have the want to

  569. on the inside. But I just want to thank

  570. God this morning for the want to. I want

  571. to thank God for the want

  572. to. Thank you. For the want to. For the

  573. want to to come to church. Woo.

  574. Shakanda. You hear what I'm telling you?

  575. Woo. I thank God for the want to.

  576. I thank God for the want to. Yeah.

  577. I can't skip too fast past that. Dre, I

  578. thank God for the want to.

  579. Hallelujah. Yes, sir.

  580. The want to.

  581. But can I tell you something? for the

  582. sake of what God wants to do in our

  583. lives, for the sake of how God wants to

  584. use us, is that we have to move past

  585. just the want to and follow the

  586. instructions we've been given in this

  587. series so that we can now have the means

  588. to

  589. [Applause]

  590. Luke chapter 10. It's a story of a

    Luke 10 chapter mention

  591. Samaritan, the good Samaritan.

  592. And Jesus tells this parable because he

  593. has some people around him who are

  594. trying to finagle their way out of doing

  595. what it is they should do. That's a

  596. whole other story for a whole another

  597. day. But Jesus tells this parable about

  598. a Jewish man who fell among thieves. And

  599. the Bible said that he was stripped,

  600. he was beaten, and he was left half

  601. dead.

  602. He was left on the road. And then there

  603. comes this Levite that comes by. And the

  604. Bible says that they see the man laying

  605. there stripped, beaten, bloody, half

  606. dead. And the Levite not only passes by

  607. him, but gets on the other side of the

  608. road to get by him.

  609. I can't stay I can't stay there too

  610. long. Then the priest comes

  611. and the Bible says that the

  612. priest does the same thing.

  613. He sees him and he gets on the other

  614. side of the

  615. road and walks past him.

  616. But then here comes a Samaritan.

  617. The Bible says that first of all,

  618. culturally speaking, the Samaritan and

  619. the Jews didn't have any dealings with

  620. each other. Right? So for Jesus to put

  621. the Samaritan in such a good light was a

  622. whole Bible study in and of itself.

  623. So he has So you look at these two guys,

  624. the Levite and the priest, they had they

  625. didn't have the want to. Now this

  626. Samaritan who was supposed to be a half

  627. breed, didn't have no dealings with

  628. Jewish people. The Bible says he walks

  629. up on the beaten man,

  630. and he looks at him

  631. and the Bible says he has compassion on

  632. him.

  633. He has compassion on the man. Pause it

  634. right there. I just want to thank God

  635. for the want to.

  636. The priests went by, the Levite went by,

  637. but the Samaritan stopped and had

  638. compassion on him. He had a want to.

  639. Yes. But can I just tell

  640. you for the beaten man who was bloody

  641. and hurting, the want to is not enough.

  642. The want to. Now, I know you I know

  643. stretching your hands and praying it has

  644. its place.

  645. But Preston, at some point I got to get

  646. I got to get irritated with only having

  647. the want to.

  648. It has to bother me to only have just to

  649. want to. At some point, I want to make

  650. the adjustments in my life. I want to

  651. say no to myself for a period of time so

  652. that I can position myself

  653. to to not just have a want to, but have

  654. the means to. The Bible says that this

  655. Samaritan, catch this, went over, saw

  656. him, had compassion on him. Read your

  657. Bible. He said he poured out oil and

  658. wine,

  659. not to drink,

  660. but he poured it in his wound.

  661. It was used for medicinal purposes. He

  662. was there to help. He did more than pray

  663. for him. Now, prayer has its place.

  664. But catch this. This Samaritan had more

  665. than just a want to. He had the means

  666. to. He took oil and wine and poured it

  667. in the womb. The Bible said he bandaged

  668. him up. You got to have money for that.

  669. Amen. Not only did he minister to his

  670. womb and pouring oil and wine in it and

  671. and actually treated him medically, the

  672. Bible says then he picked him up.

  673. And I love how the Bible puts it,

  674. Trevor. It said he puts him on his own

  675. donkey.

  676. This is not a borrowed donkey. He had

  677. the resources that he needed to have his

  678. own donkey.

  679. He puts him on his own donkey.

  680. In the Bible

  681. day, having a donkey was not like having

  682. a Ferrari,

  683. but it was better than having a bus

  684. pass.

  685. He wasn't the wealthiest man, but he had

  686. done enough to position himself to move

  687. from want to to the means to.

  688. [Music]

  689. He poured oil and wine, bandaged them

  690. up, then put him on his own donkey.

  691. The Bible said, "Then he took him to an

  692. inn,

  693. to a hotel,

  694. put him up there, and gave the

  695. inkeeper to dinari."

  696. Now the dinari, one dinari was worth a

  697. whole day's

  698. wages. He gave him two

  699. dinari. So he had the money to medically

  700. treat him, had the money to give him a

  701. ride, and then had the money to give him

  702. a place to stay.

  703. If that wasn't enough,

  704. not only did he have the

  705. resources, thank you, bishop, but he

  706. also had the good credit cuz he told the

  707. inkeeper,

  708. "If he run up anything else before I get

  709. back, I'll pay you when I come back." If

  710. you and I can get in a position to do

  711. what it is God has called us to do and

  712. walk out these principles, not only will

  713. we have the money, but we'll have a good

  714. name.

  715. [Music]

  716. I want to

  717. move from just want to

  718. to having the means to. What does that

  719. mean? That means for a period of time,

  720. oh, I hear this all. If you live like no

  721. one else,

  722. then later you'll get to live like no

  723. one else.

  724. If for a period of time I'll be willing

  725. to put on the same black

  726. jeans and for a period of time, I'll be

  727. willing to to do less right now. so that

  728. I can do more later.

  729. If I'm just willing not to drive the

  730. latest right now, so that I can position

  731. myself that when God puts somebody in my

  732. path or on my heart, I can do. There

  733. ain't nothing wrong with prayer. We got

  734. to pray. But I could do more than pray.

  735. And can I just say this? Oh god. Yeah. I

  736. got time. Good. Can I just say this?

  737. When you have resources, you still have

  738. to be prayerful

  739. because you're not called to help

  740. everybody.

  741. I know. I know. I

  742. know. Catch this. Write this down.

  743. Givers have to have boundaries

  744. because takers don't have any

  745. [Applause]

  746. givers got to have boundaries.

  747. You got to have boundaries where you

  748. decide how I'm going to do this.

  749. Givers got to have boundaries cuz takers

  750. don't have any.

  751. So even in this

  752. what I want God to do. Yeah, I'm doing

  753. the action. I'm doing all the things

  754. that I've been taught to do so that I

  755. can be be

  756. positioned to do more than just want to

  757. do something. But I have the means to do

  758. something. But I have to I have to I

  759. have to still be conscious and aware and

  760. prayerful.

  761. And you got to be okay with that because

  762. sometimes people won't understand.

  763. Boy, I wish somebody would help me.

  764. People won't understand

  765. the boundaries that you have. The

  766. boundaries that you have to have.

  767. I'm going to give you one more thing and

  768. I'll be done on this.

  769. Sometimes people don't want what you

  770. give them. They want what you have.

  771. [Applause]

  772. I'm getting ready to go. I'm done. I'm

  773. getting ready to go to Greece.

  774. Sometimes people don't

  775. want what you give them. You trying to

  776. figure out why you giving and giving a

  777. boy. I feel like my mama now. You giving

  778. and giving and doing and doing and they

  779. still not satisfied.

  780. It's because they don't want what you've

  781. given them.

  782. Kirk, they want what you have.

  783. And you got to be okay with the

  784. boundaries that you put in place.

  785. God doggy.

  786. [Music]

  787. God wants to move us, y'all.

  788. He wants to move. That's his heart's

  789. desire is to move us from just wanting

  790. to

  791. do. He wants to move us to having the

  792. means to do.

  793. But you and I must take these things

  794. that Bishop has been teaching us and

  795. pouring into us and praying to God that

  796. we would start doing them so that we can

  797. move from just stretching our hands

  798. this way to stretching them this way.

  799. [Applause]

  800. God wants us to be the kind of

  801. people to fulfill what it is he's called

  802. us to do. He said, "I've given you power

  803. to get wealth,

  804. not to floss,

  805. not to show off,

  806. but so that you can fulfill my covenant

  807. in the earth." Let's pray.
