  1. Go and tell somebody we can ready to get

  2. in this word tonight.

  3. >> Yeah. Then we going to fall out. Just

  4. study and fall out again. Amen.

  5. >> Get your Bibles. This will be easy for

  6. everybody to understand.

  7. >> But we're called to praise.

  8. >> I said we're called to praise.

  9. >> My God.

  10. I couldn't even get the Holy Spirit

  11. wouldn't even let me start dealing with

  12. some of the stuff in his ministry until

  13. we did some reintroduction.

  14. >> How many been with us in the mornings?

  15. >> Amen.

  16. >> And uh so you got to understand you are

  17. saved through your faith in the finished

  18. work of Jesus Christ and that alone.

  19. That's why nobody deserves the praise

  20. but him.

  21. >> I thought I'd hear more on that.

  22. >> I said nobody deserves the praise but

  23. him.

  24. [applause]

  25. >> And so when I understand that and I nail

  26. that down and I start really letting the

  27. implications

  28. of being saved sink in,

  29. >> that means I'll never be alone.

  30. Okay, one hand.

  31. >> Okay, you you miss it. Say, let me let

  32. me say it again cuz in case it didn't

  33. come out clear, you'll never be alone.

  34. [cheering]

  35. >> You are never without help.

  36. >> You are never without hope. I wish I had

  37. me a few folk in here. You have God on

  38. the inside of you strengthening you to

  39. go through anything that comes your way.

  40. AND IN ALL THESE THINGS, WE ARE MORE

  41. THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED

  42. US.

  43. >> When you really let the truth of

  44. salvation sink in,

  45. >> he made me fit

  46. >> to overcome.

  47. >> But see, your peace and your praise will

  48. tell you where your faith is.

  49. >> Oh, I need somebody. Yeah. Yeah. You can

  50. tell where you are in your reliance upon

  51. God and in your faith walk, you can tell

  52. by your peace and your praise.

  53. [cheering]

  54. >> Oh

  55. yeah. Because when there is no peace,

  56. it's an indication that there is some

  57. area you have not trusted God in. If you

  58. don't have peace, you have allowed stuff

  59. to take your eyes off. Come here, Peter.

  60. You've allowed yourself to start

  61. focusing on the storm and not on the

  62. savior.

  63. >> [screaming]

  64. >> Because as long as you know who you are

  65. with,

  66. >> y'all ain't having church with me.

  67. Listen, IF YOU'RE WITH SOMEBODY THAT'S

  68. GOT everything you need, you carry

  69. yourself differently. If you Oh, Lord

  70. have mercy. I don't, you know, I don't

  71. have mass. Y'all feel free to give me

  72. masses of money. I take bags of it. I'll

  73. be glad to.

  74. >> No, it's okay. Anyway, but I'm saying I

  75. got a couple nickels.

  76. So chances are if we go out to eat and

  77. you realize you left your wallet, you

  78. ain't going to be upset.

  79. >> You just going to say, "Bitch, you

  80. bitch." You know,

  81. >> you know, you'll be like that,

  82. You know, you now it's not going to be a

  83. problem.

  84. >> So then where where is this anxiousness

  85. coming from?

  86. >> Uh-uh. See, where is this anxiousness

  87. coming from when we are with the one who

  88. made heaven and earth? [cheering]

  89. >> Yeah. Uh-uh. Emmanuel

  90. >> with us be God. God manifest in the

  91. flesh. So when you really let the

  92. implications of salvation really become

  93. come real to you and come you become

  94. aware of them it changes you. There's a

  95. peace that settles in.

  96. >> You say I don't know what tomorrow's

  97. going to hold

  98. >> but I know who hold tomorrow

  99. >> and that's the one that's with me and

  100. for me that loves me. It's I know it's

  101. hard to believe sometime, but loves me

  102. so much he he tattooed me on his hand.

  103. Read your Bible. Y'all up here tattooing

  104. folks name on you and in three years you

  105. ain't even going to know them. You ain't

  106. going to see them no more.

  107. You done put their name and tattooed

  108. everything and then they quit you and go

  109. with somebody you knew. Come on y'all

  110. ain't [cheering] I don't hear nobody.

  111. That's why try to tell folk don't start

  112. that tattooing too early

  113. cuz some of these people you think you

  114. can't live without. You won't even

  115. remember. Were you in my class or my

  116. sister's class? You won't even remember

  117. them. You see a McFamp classroom, you be

  118. like, I know I've seen you somewhere.

  119. >> Come on. In Acts chapter 16,

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  120. >> but your peace and your praise will tell

  121. you where you are in your reliance upon

  122. God.

  123. And so what we have to do is we have to

  124. understand that God has called us to

  125. praise.

  126. >> In Acts chapter 16, it was read uh we

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  127. are dealing with Paul and how he has

  128. been preaching. He and Silas have been

  129. preaching and taking the gospel and

  130. they're going through persecution. And

  131. let me just share with you, you want to

  132. live out loud until it irritates the

  133. devil.

  134. Oh, you want to be so strong with this

  135. thing until it just makes the devil

  136. nervous. You ought to have him You ought

  137. to have him mad when you wake up.

  138. >> When you step in your job, you just let

  139. it be known.

  140. >> Now, devil, I know you're listening.

  141. >> And I want you to know I'm taking

  142. authority over this workplace

  143. environment.

  144. >> You don't run this. Somebody righteous

  145. is here. Oh, God. [cheering]

  146. Paul has been preaching and so they're

  147. very upset. You know the story that

  148. takes them and the Bible says in verse

  149. 23 of Acts 16 when they had laid many

  150. stripes on them. Well, let me do 22. And

  151. the multitude rose up together against

  152. them and the magistrates ran off their

  153. clothes and commanded told beat them.

  154. That's okay. That's okay. Yeah, you you

  155. can beat this body but you won't be able

  156. to touch the next one.

  157. >> Oh Lord have mercy.

  158. Okay. Okay. When they had laid many

  159. stripes on them, they cast them into

  160. prison, charging the jailer to keep them

  161. safely, who having received such a

  162. charge, thrust them into the inner

  163. prison and made their feet fast, cuz

  164. they told him, "You better take you

  165. better keep them." He says, "No problem.

  166. I got it." Verse 25, "But at midnight,

  167. >> Paul and Silas prayed and

  168. >> sang praises unto God." Watch this. This

  169. won't no silent thing.

  170. >> This wasn't in their head. nudges. And

  171. you know, I told you I don't like

  172. touching people too much in church. You

  173. know, people every three sentences is

  174. touch your neighbor. That ain't going to

  175. never be my testimony cuz after a while,

  176. I don't want nobody touching me. Now,

  177. stop. Okay. But just elbow somebody and

  178. tell them somebody ought to hear your

  179. praise.

  180. >> Now, that's important because it's very

  181. easy for us. And can we just can we just

  182. talk real plain? Particularly in a

  183. ministry that is more teachingbased, you

  184. have to be that much more careful and

  185. proactive that you don't stay in your

  186. head all the time.

  187. >> I'mma wait till we get all the claps in.

  188. That's right. Because it's very easy for

  189. us because admittedly we tend to be of

  190. teaching ministry.

  191. >> Okay. But you and I have to be willing

  192. to open our mouths and make declarations

  193. about the greatness of our God. And you

  194. got to be able to do it and be bold and

  195. do it. And plus, it's going to help you.

  196. YOU NEED TO start getting bold about who

  197. God is to you anyway.

  198. >> I got three hands, five hands. No, he's

  199. my keeper.

  200. >> He's my friend.

  201. >> He's the one that's holding me up.

  202. >> He's keeping my mind. Now, y'all don't

  203. REMEMBER THIS STUFF, BUT HE'S A HEART

  204. fixer

  205. >> and he's a mind regulator.

  206. >> Oh, Y'ALL Y'ALL ARE HERE. HE'S A DOCTOR

  207. IN THE SICK room [cheering]

  208. >> and a lawyer in the courtroom. HE'S A

  209. HE'S A HE'S A THERAPIST WHEN MY MIND IS

  210. FLIPPING OUT. [cheering]

  211. >> And you GOT TO BECOME VERBAL ABOUT THAT

  212. BECAUSE FAITH comes by.

  213. >> So God's been dealing with me. Y'all

  214. ain't started that clock. Y'all are

  215. brave.

  216. God has been dealing with me about us

  217. being called to praise.

  218. >> Called to praise.

  219. >> You have to understand that there are,

  220. as I said, certain things that you and I

  221. cannot get

  222. >> just from

  223. sitting back in our comfort zone. You

  224. can be attentive mentally,

  225. but there is a degree of intimacy you

  226. want to have with God.

  227. Oh,

  228. >> or you won't bear fruit.

  229. >> You can, okay, y'all don't remember this

  230. from when you were little kids. You see

  231. somebody, they were cute and they looked

  232. at you twice

  233. >> and blinked one time. Next thing you

  234. know, you were writing y'all's names

  235. down

  236. >> and y'all don't remember the little the

  237. little box, do you?

  238. >> Where you write rich, poor, millionaire,

  239. the three cities you want to live at.

  240. Y'all ain't having a church with how

  241. many kids and then you go around and

  242. count the time we wasted. Lord Jesus,

  243. >> but as long as you have all of those

  244. emotions and thoughts in your head, how

  245. many know you ain't going to get

  246. pregnant from thinking about it?

  247. >> Y'all not here.

  248. >> In order for that to occur,

  249. >> there has to be some action. There has.

  250. Huh?

  251. >> Ain't no more immaculate conceptions

  252. taking place.

  253. >> Oh, you didn't catch that. You You

  254. missed that.

  255. >> Did you catch it? There are no more

  256. immaculate conceptions.

  257. >> So, if you going to get pregnant with

  258. something from God, that means you going

  259. to have to have some interaction with

  260. God. [cheering]

  261. >> That means you're not going to be able

  262. to sit in your chair and keep it cool

  263. like this. And cuz see, praise is

  264. designed for there. There's a stripping

  265. that takes place

  266. >> because now it's no longer about you and

  267. what you got on.

  268. >> NOW IT'S NO LONGER ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL

  269. and what you look and whether people are

  270. STARING AT YOU. IT SHOULD NOT MATTER.

  271. YOU CAN'T. LET ME TELL YOU, YOU CAN'T

  272. GET SO IMPORTANT.

  273. >> Oh Lord, I I want every dollar the Lord

  274. wants me to have, but not one more

  275. >> than I have grace to have. Y'all not

  276. talking to me? Cuz I don't need a two. I

  277. don't need an extra dollar. And then I

  278. start thinking I'm too important to hit

  279. the floor and give God the glory. Let I

  280. done told y'all I don't mean to be

  281. commenting ON THIS THING, BUT I DON'T

  282. WANT A PAIR OF SHOES THAT COST SO MUCH I

  283. CAN'T dance in them.

  284. >> And I know I'M NOT JUST TALKING TO

  285. WOMEN. NOW YOU GOT TO TALK TO MEN about

  286. that because I found out MEN DON'T LIKE

  287. TO BEND up their shoes.

  288. >> How crazy is that?

  289. >> You The Lord done blessed YOU WITH SOME

  290. $200 SHOES

  291. >> and you don't want to bend them up and

  292. get wrinkles in them. Let me tell YOU

  293. SOMETHING. THERE WAS A TIME WHERE $200

  294. WOULD NEAR ABOUT PAY ALL YOUR BILLS. AND

  295. YOU GOT ENOUGH MONEY NOW THAT YOU CAN

  296. PUT $200 ON YOUR FEET. YOU BETTER BEND

  297. THEM UP AND WRINKLE THEM UP AND SCUFF

  298. THEM UP IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.

  299. [applause]

  300. [cheering]

  301. >> You better check yourself.

  302. >> It's not that serious, honey. Shoes are

  303. not that ser [laughter]

  304. We are called to praise. Praise is this

  305. outward expression

  306. >> that I know God

  307. is greater than I am.

  308. >> I I've given so many

  309. definitions. Praise is the celebration

  310. of certainty. when I know God is who he

  311. said he is and I know God is gonna do

  312. what he said he was gonna do and I know

  313. God gonna open the door like he said he

  314. would SO I CAN PRAISE HIM IN ADVANCE I'm

  315. certain he's going to do it

  316. >> but it is this outward thing it is can

  317. you imagine not talking to somebody and

  318. you have the ability to speak

  319. >> that you love

  320. >> that you would never reach out to hug or

  321. or even pound or or what somebody that

  322. you care about. We cannot allow

  323. ourselves

  324. to come into the house of God and then

  325. become stoic

  326. >> and overly reserved.

  327. >> Now I understand the Bible when you come

  328. to the house keep your foot people being

  329. there acting white. I understand all

  330. that

  331. >> but this is not a church without order.

  332. >> [applause]

  333. >> Folks, we need to open ourselves up and

  334. say, "You know what, God? I don't want

  335. my relationship with you to be dry.

  336. >> I want to be that person that responds

  337. to your presence by offering you glory

  338. both with my mouth, with my hands, with

  339. my lifestyle choices. I want to praise

  340. you in everything I say and everything I

  341. do.

  342. >> I got any people really want to praise

  343. God? See, I don't have a problem coming

  344. up standing with any hands lifted. I I'm

  345. going to put myself Do I always feel

  346. like it? Of course not.

  347. >> But he his worth has not changed.

  348. >> Just because you had a yucky day doesn't

  349. mean God's worth has changed. HE IS

  350. STILL WORTHY. Oh Lord have mercy. He's

  351. worthy of our praise. And I'm going tell

  352. you, even though we ought to bring it to

  353. him, it still does more for us

  354. >> than it does for him. I want to share a

  355. few things with you about praise. And

  356. I'm going to let you go home. First of

  357. all, praise

  358. is our acknowledgment of the greatness

  359. of God.

  360. It's our acknowledgement. See, and I

  361. think that's important for us to to nail

  362. down because if you think praise is

  363. feminine, then guys, you'll be sitting

  364. there, man, I ain't f to do all that.

  365. >> Praise is not feminine

  366. >> and it's not masculine either.

  367. >> It's human.

  368. >> When you Okay. Okay. Okay. Somebody you

  369. esteem great. Now it's getting harder

  370. and harder to think of somebody.

  371. You used to be able to use public

  372. official. You can't. You can't. Yeah.

  373. Yeah. And almost now you almost better

  374. go to sports and spit it. [laughter]

  375. But if somebody has done something great

  376. in our society and they come in, we

  377. stand.

  378. >> It doesn't matter how you feel about it.

  379. That's your way of offering respect and

  380. recognizing that somebody that has

  381. distinguished themselves has entered

  382. into the room.

  383. >> Then how is it possible

  384. >> that we could come in God's house?

  385. >> I need somebody here.

  386. >> Come in God's house

  387. >> and then want to BE RESERVED. OH, NO,

  388. NO, NO, NO. I'm coming in on the

  389. strength you gave me.

  390. >> I'm coming in BREATHING THE AIR YOU PUT

  391. IN my lungs. I'M COMING IN IN MY RIGHT

  392. MIND, WHICH I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE LOST

  393. IF YOU HAD NOT WALKED WITH ME.

  394. [cheering]

  395. IN FACT, I LOST HALF OF IT AND YOU HAD

  396. TO GIVE IT BACK TO ME.

  397. >> BUMP WHO I'M SITTING BESIDE.

  398. >> FORGET WHO ON MY ROW.

  399. >> YOU BETTER GIVE ME SOME SPACE.

  400. >> HALLELUJAH.

  401. >> It's an acknowledgement. Go with me to

  402. Psalm 100. Go with me to Psalm 100.

  403. Let's just Y'all ready to study a little

  404. bit? Just look through the scripture

  405. some.

  406. >> Everybody say, "Yes."

  407. >> Okay. Psalm 100. Look at it. Lord, I I

  408. need my Lord. And we keeping uh Re

  409. Marsha in prayer. She's um been on a a

  410. divine assignment with her family.

  411. >> Amen. Cuz you know, other than that, you

  412. know, she'd have been here on the floor

  413. >> just to shout. Watch this. Make a joyful

  414. noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

  415. >> Serve the Lord with what?

  416. >> Yeah. Come be Look here. Come before his

  417. presence.

  418. >> Me and a brother of mine, we sit on the

  419. phone sometimes and uh you know, I tend

  420. to be late, you know, uh a night hour,

  421. so I will go to bed early, you know, you

  422. know, go to bed and then I get back up

  423. because I'm still awake. And uh so

  424. sometimes we'll text back and forth and

  425. uh we were talking about it a few months

  426. ago. You know, we thank God for the

  427. praise team,

  428. >> but you didn't used to have praise

  429. teams.

  430. >> You used to have the folk on the floor,

  431. the deacon. I know some of the folk

  432. church got you had a deacon on the

  433. deacon down here and then they started

  434. start off a song.

  435. Yes. [applause]

  436. >> And everybody had to sing the song cuz

  437. we nobody have a mic.

  438. >> And I thank God still for the praise

  439. team. But what it has done is opened a

  440. door for us to at the time when we're

  441. supposed to be offering our praise to

  442. God, we're watching and listening other

  443. folks sing.

  444. >> You got to catch yourself. MAKE YOURSELF

  445. LOOK UP there on them on those po what

  446. do you call them thing screens. Read

  447. them words. Think about them and sing

  448. them out your mouth.

  449. >> Because if it's my birthday, I don't

  450. care how many other people say happy

  451. birthday to me. If don't part his lips,

  452. y'all ain't talking to me.

  453. >> Just cuz he's at the at the house while

  454. everybody's celebrating. Uh-uh.

  455. I'm looking first. And blessedly, I

  456. don't have to worry about it cuz he

  457. going to make sure 4:00 in the morning

  458. when he get up.

  459. [laughter]

  460. He lay out my little stuff. Thank you.

  461. When I get up around 7:30,

  462. 5. Yeah. Right. Watch this. Come before

  463. the Lord. Come before his presence with

  464. what?

  465. >> Folks, this is telling me what I need to

  466. do.

  467. >> So, it's not about whether I like THE

  468. SONG. IT'S NOT ABOUT WHETHER I'M ON KEY.

  469. IT'S NOT ABOUT THAT. I'm coming before

  470. the Lord's presence. He told me to come

  471. singing.

  472. >> No. See, this is why it's about

  473. acknowledgment.

  474. >> Don't you know that he is God?

  475. >> It is he that has made us.

  476. >> I wish I had me somebody. And not we

  477. ourselves. We are his people and the

  478. sheep OF HIS PASTURE. HE SAID, "IF YOU

  479. GOING TO ENTER INTO MY GATES AND YOU

  480. GOING TO FIND YOUR WAY INTO MY COURTS,

  481. YOU GOING TO HAVE TO COME IN WITH

  482. PRAISE, BE THANKFUL, AND BLESS my name."

  483. Y'all ain't talking to me.

  484. So God is saying, "I have CALLED YOU TO

  485. APPROACH ME A CERTAIN WAY WHEN YOU

  486. ACKNOWLEDGE that I'm God." Yeah.

  487. >> And see, we got to be careful because

  488. though he is father and though he's a

  489. friend that sticks closer than a

  490. brother, IT DON'T FORGET THAT HE'S GOD.

  491. >> Every now and then you raise, you know,

  492. I had teenagers at one point, that point

  493. long since gone. I think you know what I

  494. think my my coming up on retirement has

  495. taught everybody about time

  496. >> because I told y'all 20 years of 21

  497. years ago I'm retiring December 14th

  498. 2025 everybody like [laughter]

  499. and about about 15 years later y'all

  500. December 14th 2025 y child that's what

  501. that child went over there it's next

  502. week [laughter]

  503. excuse me.

  504. >> Are you understand? See how quick stuff

  505. goes.

  506. >> He says, "I WANT YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE

  507. >> THAT HE'S GOD." Watch this. I had teens

  508. and every now and then I tried to, you

  509. know, I tried to be somewhat modern, but

  510. not really. You know, I wasn't, you

  511. know, it's being a parent ain't easy.

  512. >> Where my parents at? Come on, tell the

  513. truth. It ain't easy, is it? You know,

  514. you're trying to be cuz you want them to

  515. be able to talk to you. Then they roll

  516. up off their mouth wrong

  517. >> and you were trying, you know, trying to

  518. be hip with them. So, you know, hey

  519. babe, I'm here for you. I'm in your

  520. corner, dog. [laughter]

  521. And then I said, clean your room. He

  522. said, "Mom, why you crazy?"

  523. >> And you got to be careful that you don't

  524. just think of God. Oh, you're such a

  525. great mother. You're so sweet. Yeah,

  526. >> he is God.

  527. >> No, y'all. UH-UH. UH-UH. HE'S GOD.

  528. [cheering]

  529. >> NO. HERE IT IS AGAIN. HE'S GOD.

  530. >> He made this world. He is God. And if he

  531. NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR US, WE MUST

  532. ACKNOWLEDGE WHO HE IS AND BOW BEFORE

  533. HIM. DON'T LET NOBODY FOOL YOU. I DON'T

  534. CARE WHO ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE. ACT LIKE

  535. THEY SO BIG AND BAD. IT IS HE THAT HAS

  536. MADE US AND NOT WE OURSELVES. AND EVERY

  537. KNEE IS GOING TO BOW. AMEN.

  538. >> And every tongue is going to confess.

  539. [cheering]

  540. >> He says, "You acknowledge me."

  541. >> He says, "Enter into his gates with

  542. thanksgiving, into his courts with

  543. praise." Be thankful unto him

  544. >> and bless his name. I told you many

  545. times if y'all security, you have to

  546. double up in your personal life.

  547. >> What did I say?

  548. >> Double up.

  549. >> They got to double up because they are

  550. trained when they are in here to stay

  551. somewhat out of it.

  552. So they because they can't and then

  553. somebody come in here and clown.

  554. >> So they have to train themselves to hear

  555. the worship, hear the music, but stay

  556. focused.

  557. >> But that same assignment.

  558. >> If they don't double down privately,

  559. >> they'll be in position to backslide.

  560. >> So they have to double down. So in the

  561. morning, you got to get UP AND SAY,

  562. "GOD, I WANT TO THANK YOU.

  563. I can't I don't get a chance to holler

  564. at church. In church, I GOT TO WATCH CUZ

  565. SOME OF THESE FOLK are

  566. >> Let me show you something else. Sneak

  567. over to Psalm 95. Come on. Just a few

  568. pages back. Psalm 95. Just let's run a

  569. little bit. Oh, come let us worship and

  570. bow down.

  571. >> I said he's God. We got to bow down.

  572. Come on. Let us kneel before the Lord

  573. our maker. For he is God and we are the

  574. people of his pasture and the sheep of

  575. his hand.

  576. >> That's our job.

  577. >> That's our job, y'all.

  578. >> Let me show you what happens. Go to

  579. Romans. When we don't want to do it,

  580. >> go to Romans chapter one.

  581. >> See it. When you won't praise, it's an

  582. indication you have an issue with him

  583. being God.

  584. >> Come on, let's think through it now.

  585. Yeah.

  586. When you won't open your mouth, he says,

  587. "Come before me.

  588. >> You come before me with singing,

  589. >> you you you be thankful and bless my

  590. name.

  591. >> Lord, your name is great. God, I thank

  592. you. God, I honor you. Thank you for

  593. another day. God, I give you glory.

  594. Hallelujah. Jesus, don't make no

  595. difference how I'm feeling about it. I

  596. Here's what I know. You're God and

  597. you're worthy of this. You're holy. You

  598. everything that you are, you are through

  599. and through. You don't change. You ain't

  600. sometime. I worship you. That's blessing

  601. his name.

  602. >> Thank you, Lord.

  603. >> All right, y'all. In Romans 1,

  604. >> watch this. Start reading the verse 20.

  605. >> Give me verse uh 20 and 21. Y'all read.

  606. >> Uh-uh. I asked you, were you there?

  607. >> Romans 1 20 and 21. Come on.

  608. >> Everybody

  609. >> Uhhuh.

  610. >> are clearly seen,

  611. >> being understood. Come on.

  612. >> Even his eternal power and godhead so

  613. that they are without.

  614. >> Now, just as a tidbit, what he's saying

  615. is you can look around in nature, even

  616. without a Bible, and tell this world

  617. didn't just pop up the way it is. You

  618. can tell just from looking at the beauty

  619. of the trees and the depth of colors

  620. that there is a God that created all of

  621. this. And if you can do that, then you

  622. ought to acknowledge him.

  623. >> Watch this. In verse 21,

  624. >> read it.

  625. >> When they knew God, what?

  626. >> Oh, you Oh. Oh, wait. Wait. Oh, oh. You

  627. know there's God, but you ain't going to

  628. say nothing.

  629. >> YOU KNOW GOD, YOU KNOW YOU DIDN'T MAKE

  630. YOU. And you know you AIN'T KEPT YOU.

  631. MANY TIMES YOU AND I HAVE DONE dumb

  632. stuff. We should have been cut off.

  633. >> Oh, I got a few people. We should have

  634. been taken out of here. We could have

  635. easily driven the car while we were lit.

  636. >> I know y'all sanctified. You don't

  637. remember those days, do you? Lying

  638. wonder. Do you understand what I'm

  639. saying?

  640. >> But he kept us.

  641. >> So you mean to tell me you knew God, but

  642. you were too too proud, too clean, too

  643. intelligent to glorify him?

  644. >> He said they knew him, but they wouldn't

  645. glorify him, and they wasn't thankful.

  646. God said, "I let you become vain in your

  647. imagination. Your foolish heart is going

  648. to be darkened."

  649. >> You need to understand that worship,

  650. praising God is an acknowledgment that

  651. he's God.

  652. >> To not open your mouth, to not be

  653. willing to lift your hand.

  654. >> Jesus,

  655. >> let's I mean, come on.

  656. You got a problem with authority

  657. >> because he said, "Come before me this

  658. way."

  659. >> Let me just read this in Psalm 29:1 and

    Psalms 29:1

  660. give unto the Lord, oh ye mighty. Give

  661. unto the Lord glory and strength. Give

  662. unto the Lord the glory that's due his

  663. name.

  664. >> Worship the Lord in the beauty of

  665. holiness.

  666. >> Watch this. Praise is an assignment.

  667. Write it down. Praises are what?

  668. >> Now, I need you to understand something.

  669. I I really want you to get a hold of

  670. this. Go to first Peter. I don't know if

  671. you know it, but you and I don't have

  672. the privilege of choosing our divine

  673. assignment.

  674. >> Amen.

  675. >> There are general assignments. It's like

  676. being in a family. Everybody got to make

  677. their bed.

  678. >> Now, some people will wash dishes,

  679. others will vacuum. La. Everybody going

  680. to make that bed.

  681. >> Amen.

  682. >> That's good.

  683. Okay. But here's the thing. In the

  684. kingdom of God, our first

  685. >> assignment

  686. is to replace the void that the fall of

  687. Lucifer left

  688. >> as the covering cherub. What we call

  689. Satan. Satan, the opposer.

  690. Y'all already know your Bible. at one

  691. point was a was an angel.

  692. >> Amen.

  693. >> He ain't want to worship.

  694. >> Look who you were acting like

  695. >> when you won't open your mouth.

  696. >> Jesus.

  697. >> Now, I don't want to get musty when I

  698. come to church either. But it's God that

  699. gave me strength.

  700. >> If something about this right here

  701. blesses him,

  702. >> then that's what I'mma do.

  703. >> I can't let myself think I'm here on a

  704. date somewhere.

  705. >> I'mma just, you know,

  706. >> y'all go ahead. That note ain't my

  707. thing. [laughter]

  708. What is that?

  709. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. How you say

  710. no?

  711. >> Watch this. First Peter chapter 2. You

    1 Peter 2 chapter mention

  712. and I are responsible. When when Lucifer

  713. decided he didn't want to he didn't want

  714. to worship, he wasn't going to do that.

  715. And Ezekiel, he said, "Oh, no, no. I'mma

  716. be like the most high." God said, "No,

  717. no, not up here you ain't." And the

  718. Bible said we saw him fall like

  719. lightning.

  720. >> So the co the worshshiping covering

  721. cherub

  722. was now gone and took a third of the

  723. angels with him

  724. >> became demons.

  725. >> I just don't believe God ought to be

  726. lacking nothing

  727. >> as good as he been to us.

  728. [applause and cheering]

  729. >> I don't feel like God ought to be

  730. lacking a hallelujah.

  731. >> Oh, I wish I had me somebody. I don't

  732. think God ought to lack hearing he's

  733. great and greatly to be praised. I don't

  734. think he OUGHT TO LACK KNOWING THAT HE

  735. IS LOVED AND HONORED AND ADORED. NOT

  736. WHEN HE SAVED ME. NOT WHEN HE PICKED me

  737. up, turn me around, PLACE MY FEET ON

  738. SOLID GROUND. HE OUGHT NOT MISS

  739. ANYTHING.

  740. LONG AS I GOT BREATH IN MY BODY.

  741. IT'S A DECISION THAT I MAKE

  742. TO GLORIFY THE GOD that see you. Oh

  743. Lord, I'm not even just I'm talking

  744. about my salvation. Now don't get me

  745. wrong, that's where I'm focusing. But

  746. y'all don't know what it is to not have

  747. enough money to pay bills.

  748. >> No, you don't. I know y'all don't. No,

  749. you don't. I don't even believe you. Mm-

  750. mm- They don't know. They don't know.

  751. >> No, you don't. Cuz if you did,

  752. >> and you paid the ones you had last

  753. month,

  754. >> she got it. She got it. IF YOU'VE EVER

  755. BEEN TO A PLACE WHERE THERE WAS NO MONEY

  756. TO BE FOUND, IT WON'T LIKE YOU, WELL,

  757. I'M GOING HAVE TO WAIT. I DON'T KNOW

  758. WHEN I'MMA GET IT. AND GOD STILL BROUGHT

  759. YOU THROUGH. AND NOW YOU CAN PAY YOUR

  760. BILLS WHEN I COME INTO THE HOUSE. I

  761. SAID, GOD, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR

  762. EVERYTHING YOU DONE, for everything

  763. you've

  764. Hey, [screaming]

  765. >> hallelujah.

  766. >> Hallelujah.

  767. >> And we only we only had to talk about

  768. stuff.

  769. >> LET'S TALK ABOUT PEACE. [cheering] LET'S

  770. TALK ABOUT BEING SO MESSED UP IN YOUR

  771. HEAD THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN SLEEP AT NIGHT

  772. THAT OVER AND OVER ALL THIS MESS IS IN

  773. YOUR MIND. THEN WHEN GOD BRINGS YOU

  774. THROUGH IT AND YOU SAY, "GOD, I WANT TO

  775. >> WHAT?"

  776. HALLELUJAH.

  777. >> The Bible says, sit down y'all. I'm

  778. sorry.

  779. >> The Bible says that he has made us to be

  780. priests.

  781. EVERYBODY MAY NOT BE A PREACHER, BUT

  782. EVERYBODY IN HERE IS A PRIEST.

  783. >> OH, you you missed that. May not be A

  784. PREACHER, BUT YOU ARE A priest if you're

  785. born again.

  786. >> Are y'all in 1 Peter 2:9?

    1 Peter 2:9

  787. >> Where my reader, Pastor Chris? I thought

  788. you were reading tonight.

  789. >> Lord have mercy.

  790. >> All right. 1 Peter 2:9. Hurry, y'all.

    1 Peter 2:9

  791. >> First Peter 2:9.

    1 Peter 2:9

  792. >> Yeah. Yeah. But ye are a chosen

  793. generation.

  794. >> Somebody thank him that he chose you.

  795. >> Yeah, honey. Let me tell you something.

  796. That that right there. See again. Oh,

  797. we're doing too much. We're doing too.

  798. Oh my god. I've been chosen.

  799. >> Don't make any difference down here. If

  800. folk act like they don't see my value.

  801. You know what? Whatever. Oh lord. See, I

  802. done got ugly now. I mean it though.

  803. Whatever. You know what? Whatever.

  804. Because he chose me.

  805. >> Oh God. AFTER YOU ARE LONG GONE, he

  806. chose me.

  807. You you GO IN AND OUT OF FOLK LIKE YOU

  808. DO DRAWS. BUT JESUS chose

  809. >> every now and then you got to remind

  810. yourself I've been chosen. [cheering]

  811. >> A chosen generation.

  812. >> Watch this. What's this next thing?

  813. >> A royal priesthood.

  814. >> A holy nation.

  815. >> A peculiar people.

  816. >> What you say?

  817. >> That you should show forth the praises

  818. of God. chose us

  819. >> so we could shoe forth.

  820. >> Okay.

  821. >> It's the difference when you have a a

  822. baby sometime they can throw up and it

  823. just comes out

  824. >> that you they that's when it shows up

  825. that they don't feel good. But when it

  826. shoots forth it

  827. >> it's projectile. It is. Y'all y'all not

  828. talking. Y'all not talking with me. I'm

  829. not talking about I'm not talking about

  830. praising on the down low. I'm not

  831. talking about I'm talking about He said,

  832. "I chose you so you could get loud for

  833. me. I CHOSE YOU SO YOU COULD SHOW FOR

  834. OH, LORD have mercy. [cheering] IS THERE

  835. ANYBODY IN HERE THAT DOESN'T MIND SAYING

  836. I DON'T CARE WHO'S LOOKING, but my

  837. praise [screaming]

  838. belongs to God.

  839. Boy,

  840. >> he picked me up.

  841. [cheering]

  842. >> I was a chronic underachiever.

  843. >> And God,

  844. >> see, oh, y'all said, see, let me tell

  845. you something.

  846. >> Y'all know my uncle, he didn't mean no

  847. harm by it because I was I was a I was a

  848. troubled, it looked like I was getting

  849. ready to carry my mom and them through.

  850. Ooh, it was one of them things where

  851. they adopt you and then somebody say,

  852. "You sure? You might want to check to

  853. see how long is there return policy."

  854. And I was thinking about it, you know,

  855. the other Sunday, you know, y'all did so

  856. much for me, had me tried to cry and

  857. whatnot, and they presented the key to

  858. the city, and I said, "Wonder what the

  859. key goes to." So, I'm just making a joke

  860. about it, you know, I'm just cutting up.

  861. And I realized my mom and them was so

  862. proud.

  863. It was even be it, you know, it didn't

  864. hit me the same,

  865. >> but they had watched when it just looked

  866. like I wasn't gonna ever round the

  867. corner.

  868. >> God said, "I chose you."

  869. >> Watch this. And while you were acting a

  870. clown, I kept my hand on you.

  871. >> While it LOOKED LIKE YOU WASN'T GOING TO

  872. EVER COME THROUGH IT, I NEVER LEFT YOU.

  873. YOU WALKED OFF FROM ME, GOD SAID, BUT I

  874. STAYED CLOSE TO YOU BECAUSE IT WAS

  875. EVENTUALLY GOING TO BE MY PLAN FOR YOU

  876. TO SHOW FORTH. [screaming]

  877. Y'ALL DON'T FEEL LIKE TALKING.

  878. >> God chose us.

  879. >> To project out, to show forth

  880. >> his praise.

  881. >> We're called to this. This is what

  882. priests do.

  883. >> They offer sacrifices. They teach the

  884. scripture. They guarded the sanctuary.

  885. They blessed the people. But 1

  886. Chronicles 23.

  887. >> Hurry. Y'all getting anything?

  888. >> I just I want us to just take this in.

  889. It's not not trying to be deep. I just

  890. want to want us to get hold of it.

  891. >> It's what we've been called to do.

  892. >> That's what Don't let people praise by

  893. themsel.

  894. >> They up here shouting. Shout with them.

  895. You ain't You don't need nothing to hit

  896. you.

  897. >> You in your right mind. You got clothes

  898. and you ate this week.

  899. What

  900. >> do you know how many folk are snapping

  901. mentally?

  902. >> Living in fantasy world just is crazy.

  903. >> No shade on people with mental illness.

  904. Just understand what I'm saying. Do you

  905. realize how many people are just not

  906. well at all

  907. >> and you run around here in your right

  908. mind?

  909. Thank you.

  910. >> Sometime you got to thank God when you

  911. can tell you ain't thinking right.

  912. >> You ever had some thoughts say, "I know

  913. this ain't right. I shouldn't even be

  914. thinking." THAT RIGHT THERE IS A

  915. BLESSING. THAT YOU EVEN KNOW THAT THAT'S

  916. JACKED UP IS A BLESSING.

  917. >> Y'all in 1 Chronicles, come on here.

  918. Y'all not f to hold us all night. 1

  919. Chronicles 23. I guess I've been holding

  920. y'all all morning, so y'all tried to get

  921. me bad. Watch this. This is what he

  922. called them to do. You can read it at

  923. your leisure in 1 Chronicles 23. It

  924. begins at verse 26. He's telling you

  925. what the priest are going to do and they

  926. don't have to carry all the furniture of

  927. the tabernacle. La. And then he talks to

  928. them from 20 years old and above and

  929. offices to do this and that. But I want

  930. you to look this thing in verse 30. This

  931. is a part of their responsibility. Check

  932. this. And this is us cuz we're the royal

  933. priesthood. Who are we?

  934. >> The royal priesthood.

  935. >> Look at your neighbor and say, "Hey

  936. priest."

  937. >> Hey priest.

  938. >> Yeah. That's right. So then what the

  939. priest supposed to do according to verse

  940. 30

  941. >> and to stand every morning

  942. >> what?

  943. >> To thank and praise the Lord.

  944. >> What you say?

  945. >> And likewise at evening.

  946. >> There go your job description. There it

  947. is right there. In the morning

  948. >> EVERY MORNING.

  949. >> GET UP AND PUT YOUR FEET ON THE FLOOR

  950. AND SAY, "GOD, YOUR PRIEST IS READY TO

  951. SERVE YOU. I want to thank YOU FOR YOUR

  952. MERCY AND YOUR GRACE. I WANT TO THANK

  953. YOU FOR BEING MY GOD. THANK YOU FOR

  954. BEING MY SAVIOR. I praise YOU THAT I'M

  955. IN MY RIGHT MIND. I PRAISE YOU FOR FOOD

  956. ON MY TABLE. Y'ALL DON'T MAKE ME GO

  957. BACK. I PRAISE YOU FOR CLOTHES ON MY

  958. BACK, shoes on my feet.

  959. >> I'M JUST TRYING TO THAT'S WHAT IT SAID.

  960. AND THEN AT NIGHT TIME,

  961. >> y'all saw it.

  962. >> You see that?

  963. >> This what he called me to do.

  964. >> Yes, sir.

  965. >> It seems simple, don't it?

  966. >> My God.

  967. >> I told you the Christian life is not

  968. intended to weigh you out like that. Are

  969. there troubles? Oh, of course, cuz your

  970. flesh going to fight you.

  971. >> The enemy will attack.

  972. >> But still, it's relatively simple. Stay

  973. true to Jesus.

  974. >> But it's right here.

  975. >> We're called to praise. We got to hurry.

  976. Okay. So, how many see it's an

  977. assignment

  978. >> every morning when you get up.

  979. >> Don't you reach for that phone. I hope

  980. your fingers start.

  981. >> Don't you touch that. I'mma show up at

  982. your house and just slap it off your

  983. [laughter]

  984. nightstand.

  985. >> Put that thing down.

  986. >> Amen.

  987. >> Ain't nobody you can call on that better

  988. than who you can call when you open your

  989. mouth and tell him thank you.

  990. Hallelujah. Don't worry about who liked

  991. your post. [cheering]

  992. [applause]

  993. >> I I have to confess to y'all. That's why

  994. I don't hardly be up there. I I know I I

  995. know I should do better,

  996. >> but I can't I can't I can't keep up with

  997. every all y'all and him.

  998. >> Now, maybe you can. You got more

  999. bandwidth than I do. I don't have that

  1000. much.

  1001. >> No. Y'all first wake up,

1002. >> my feet hit the floor. This every

  1003. >> day.

  1004. every morning.

1005. >> Said, "Thank you, Jesus.

1006. >> God, I thank I thank you for who you are

  1007. to me.

  1008. >> I'm sorry y'all. I feel old. I thank you

1009. for being my all and all. I thank you,

1010. Lord, for being in my right mind that

1011. you I MEAN, I JUST START THANKING HIM

1012. FOR THOSE YOUNG PEOPLE. LET ME TELL YOU

1013. SOMETHING. GET UP IN THE MORNING AND

1014. SAY, "GOD, THANK YOU THAT YOU LET ME

1015. LIVE ANOTHER DAY. THANK YOU, GOD, THAT I

1016. GOT IN MY MIND AND WANT TO DO RIGHT. I

1017. MAY HAVE MESSED UP YESTERDAY, BUT THANK

1018. YOU THAT YOUR MERCY IS NEW EVERY

  1019. MORNING. Great

  1020. is your faithfulness.

  1021. >> Yes, sir.

1022. >> Then we need an awareness. Come on.

1023. Here. I'm got two more. I got to hurry

1024. up and go. I just got We got to do. So,

1025. first of all, we're called to praise

1026. because it's an acknowledgement that

  1027. he's God.

1028. >> You cannot sherk back on that.

1029. Nobody's approval and opinion is as

  1030. important as the Lord

  1031. >> cuz he's our savior

1032. >> and then it's our divine assignment.

1033. You may you may be called to serve

1034. children's room. You may be called to do

1035. sound. You may be called security. You

1036. may be a musical Levite. You may serve

1037. in all variety of capacity. You may be

1038. in the background working on the digital

1039. stuff and all the tech stuff and

1040. whatever. But your first assignment sir,

1041. >> is to be a priest before God

1042. >> and offer the sacrifice of praise.

1043. >> Not that it ought to be hard for you to

1044. do it. Now, sometimes it is. If you have

1045. enoughness going on, you got to press

  1046. through yourself.

  1047. [cheering and applause]

1048. >> But normally, it doesn't mean sacrifice

1049. like it's so hard. It means it's

1050. replacing all the bulocks and the goats.

  1051. >> I ain't have to I ain't have to drag no

  1052. goat in here.

1053. I drug my hallelujah in here.

1054. >> Okay, come on. Come on. The third thing,

1055. and there's only four, is the awareness.

1056. We're called to praise because of an

  1057. awareness of his goodness.

1058. >> What's the first thing you start working

1059. on the little child with? When you give

  1060. them something,

1061. >> you say thank you.

1062. >> And if they act like they don't, now I'm

1063. talking about I'm talking about the

1064. older parents now. I'm not talking about

1065. this new the new breed. I don't know.

1066. Some of these new breeds starting to get

  1067. old again.

1068. >> Have you noticed that? I saw some Well,

1069. let me let me talk about it. But suffice

1070. it to say, old school exists in all kind

  1071. of cultures.

1072. >> But here's my thing. The first thing you

1073. tell them, you learn to say thank you.

1074. >> The Bible teaches us. Look at Psalm 34.

1075. God, hurry here. Y'all know it. Oh my

1076. gosh. We got to go. I may not get to the

1077. last one. Watch this. Psalm 34.

1078. But this is what we're called to do. And

1079. I just wanted you to have a biblical

  1080. perspective of it.

1081. >> I just wanted to remind us because there

1082. are things that God wants to do. Oh, I'm

1083. getting ahead. There are things that God

1084. wants to do in you and for you that you

1085. will not access until you press far

  1086. enough in.

  1087. >> Amen.

1088. >> In the Oh, how do I say it? In the same

  1089. way that um

1090. oh I don't know how to say it because

1091. back in the day it was bumping and

1092. grinding. I don't know what they call it

1093. now. It's probably something different.

  1094. Psalm 34.

1095. You just had to drop that right there.

1096. But if you come to church and and you

1097. won't and you don't ever strip, as it

  1098. were,

1099. >> and you stay closed,

1100. >> you you you will not leave with anything

  1101. divine in you.

1102. >> And no matter how they preach, no matter

1103. how they sing, no matter what's going

1104. on, you will miss it. Because there are

1105. people that come into services and their

1106. whole mental health is shifted. There

1107. are people that come in and physical

1108. bodies are healed. There are people that

1109. come in and started out, I get

1110. testimonies all the time. When I came, I

1111. didn't have two nickels to rub together.

1112. And now look at what God has done. We're

1113. living debtree and we're this that and

1114. and they sat on the same pew with

1115. somebody who's in the same situation.

  1116. Never changed.

1117. >> Psalm 34. Now you know it's time they

1118. cutting the lights out on me. That's

1119. that's old right there. They just shut

1120. the lights down. Next thing would be the

1121. mic. I will bless the Lord at all times.

1122. His praise shall continually be in my

  1123. mouth.

1124. >> How often should it be in there?

  1125. >> Continually.

  1126. >> I don't care who I'm with. See, that'll

1127. help you too. Especially if you used to

  1128. cuss real bad.

  1129. >> Start praising

1130. >> cuz you you you could you will mess

1131. around. Listen to me now. Cuz things I

1132. used to cuss very badly, like a lot, and

1133. was good at doing it.

1134. >> So, it was it was a challenge to step it

1135. over to get rid of it.

1136. >> But I knew the Bible didn't want me to

  1137. do it.

1138. But what I found is the more I praised,

1139. >> the less I was willing to let that junk

  1140. come out my mouth.

1141. >> So when somebody would do something, I

1142. said, you know, [laughter] you

  1143. glory.

  1144. Hallelujah.

1145. >> Do it enough times and see.

1146. >> Do it enough times, see what happened.

  1147. >> You'll get victory over it.

  1148. >> Amen.

1149. >> My soul shall make her boast in the

1150. Lord. The humble shall hear thereof and

1151. be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me

1152. and let us exalt his name together. Why?

1153. I sought the Lord and he heard me and

1154. deliver me from my fears. That's why

1155. I'mma bless him at all times. Look on

1156. down verse six. This poor man cried. The

1157. Lord heard him and saved me out of my

1158. trouble. That's why I'm going to bless

1159. him over and over. Oh, taste and see

1160. that the Lord is good. Over and over, HE

1161. SAYS, "THE MORE AWARE YOU are of what

1162. I've done, the more consistent you ought

1163. to be in your praise."

1164. And you have to make up your mind to

1165. start looking at the way God has blessed

1166. you and not the challenges in front of

  1167. you.

  1168. >> Amen.

1169. >> At the same point that Peter was

1170. standing there realizing, dog, I'm in a

1171. storm, when he first noticed it, he was

1172. literally standing on top of water.

1173. >> And he had company with Jesus.

1174. >> What are you looking at? You can There's

1175. always a reason to praise.

1176. >> Watch this. and generally always a

  1177. reason to complain.

1178. >> I'm not saying that you don't go through

1179. tough things. Of course you do. Of

1180. course I do. But I'm saying we have an

1181. opportunity to choose what we going to

  1182. focus on.

1183. >> And I'mma focus on the goodness of God.

1184. >> Said, man, they said, uh, somebody sent

1185. me this picture, that poor Christmas

1186. tree. I'm tell you, that tree had been

1187. through something. They said, this is

1188. the kind of Christmas that's going to

1189. be. That tree was like this right here.

1190. And I said, "Well, at least you'll have

  1191. the day off.

1192. I mean, if you I mean, if you can't put

1193. nothing under, thank God, sit there. At

1194. least you ain't work. Sit there and look

  1195. at it.

1196. Go back to the old school. You can't

  1197. don't you can't honey. These ornaments

1198. so expensive. Shut up complaining and

1199. string some popcorn if you really want

1200. to." Oh, I done gone old now. Then who

  1201. Anybody remember that?

  1202. >> Y'all bougie jokers.

1203. Watch this. Psalm 145. Hurry, hurry,

  1204. y'all.

1205. You have to be aware of the blessings of

1206. God. I guarantee you, there are 30

1207. things that you could praise God for

  1208. right now.

1209. >> I got shoes on my feet.

  1210. >> Come on.

  1211. >> I can feel my feet.

  1212. >> Got some socks.

1213. >> I got some circulation in my legs. Thank

1214. God I had some pants I could wear. You

1215. know, you gain a little weight. You

1216. just, oh God, am I? That's okay. I had

1217. them that size, got them in this. Hey to

1218. God, who in the world I must be truly

1219. rich. I got pants in multiple sizes.

  1220. [laughter]

1221. I mean, it just depends on what YOU WANT

1222. TO LOOK AT. SEE, WHAT THE ENEMY IS

1223. HOPING IS THAT YOU WILL FOCUS ON THE

1224. NEGATIVE AND DRY YOUR PRAISE UP. NOW,

1225. NOW ALL WE GOT IS PORK AND BEANS. DO YOU

1226. NOT KNOW SOMEBODY WOULD GET THOSE PORK

1227. AND BEANS AND GO INTO A PRAISE LIKE YOU

  1228. AIN'T NEVER SEEN?

  1229. >> Psalm 145. Hurry.

1230. Just write it down for your for your

1231. your your personal use. All of it's

1232. good. I'll extol thee, my God, O king,

1233. and I'll bless your name forever and

1234. ever. Every day will I bless you, and

1235. I'll praise your name forever and ever.

1236. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be

1237. praised. His greatness and is

1238. unsearchable. And he said, "One

1239. generation ought to praise your works to

  1240. another." That's why I tell you, don't

  1241. let folks shout alone.

1242. >> And watch this. Watch this, older

1243. saints. Don't let the children just

1244. stand up there. You go grab them.

1245. >> You said, "Well, honey, they so young.

1246. They don't know what they doing." Well,

  1247. then show them then.

  1248. >> Oh, y'all ain't talking to me. If you've

1249. been through so much, show them. Show

1250. them how to praise him.

1251. >> Come on. That don't even look holy.

1252. Well, show them a holy one.

1253. >> Well, shut up. Let them find their way.

1254. >> Come on. Have church with me now. Have

  1255. church with me.

1256. >> Same thing. Y'all see mother them young

1257. people? Y'all see mother them in the

1258. corner? Go over there beside mother and

  1259. praise him.

  1260. >> Amen. Amen.

1261. >> Watch this. Let me get on through here.

1262. Verse six. Men shall speak of the mighty

1263. uh of thy terrible of thy might, excuse

1264. me. All and men shall speak of the might

1265. of thy terrible acts, and I will declare

1266. your greatness. This is the verse I

1267. love. They shall abundantly utter the

1268. memory of thy great goodness

1269. >> and sing of your right. Every night, you

1270. ought to just go back in your mind and

1271. think and bring it up and praise over it

  1272. again.

1273. >> Ain't that what that Philippians said?

1274. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I

1275. say rejoice. That mean rejoice over it.

1276. >> So I already shouted over that. Well

  1277. shout over it again.

1278. >> The fact that you can remember it. Shout

  1279. over that.

1280. >> Oh my God. Last thing I want to share in

  1281. this access.

1282. >> You're called to praise because praise

1283. brings access. Listen to me carefully as

1284. I have ex, you know, gone beyond. Here's

  1285. our thing.

1286. There there are miraculous things that

1287. God has in his presence that he has

  1288. scheduled for every encounter.

1289. >> In other words, the scripture says where

1290. two or three are gathered,

  1291. >> I'm in the midst.

1292. >> God does nothing and is nowhere without

  1293. a purpose. My God.

1294. >> So, whatever there is a gathering,

1295. >> he's not only going to receive the

1296. praise and worship we offer, but God has

  1297. an intention.

  1298. >> Yes.

  1299. >> For that encounter.

1300. >> And what he showed me was it flows like

  1301. a current

  1302. >> Jesus.

1303. >> God has a current that will flow through

1304. every service. Doesn't mean every one of

1305. them ends up with us running.

1306. >> Sometimes we'll be on our knees crying.

1307. whatever his intention, maybe it's to

1308. see his holiness, maybe it's to see our

1309. sinfulness and and and cry out for

  1310. mercy.

1311. >> But there is an intention in every

  1312. encounter.

1313. And without your getting into praise,

  1314. you'll miss it.

1315. >> There are people that die of thirst

  1316. beside rivers

  1317. >> every Sunday. Yeah,

1318. >> they die of thirst right there beside it

  1319. >> because they won't they won't open their

  1320. mouth.

1321. >> They won't ask for anything. When you

1322. come to church, you say, "Hey, make hug

1323. everybody. Come in. Excuse me. Come in."

1324. Grinning and blink. Hey man, you

  1325. [laughter]

1326. let me have the music start.

  1327. I'm in a zone.

  1328. >> I'm in a zone. You have to let her I'm

1329. in a zone. Talk to me later. I'm in a

1330. zone. Don't come in here and ask me

  1331. nothing. Y'all know Right?

1332. >> Why? Because there's something God want

1333. to do in this service.

  1334. >> Let me I can't tell you when I got freed

1335. from the feeling of shame over

  1336. molesting,

1337. but it was in a worship service.

  1338. >> I can't tell you the exact moment I

  1339. stopped cursing,

1340. >> but I know that I got free in his

  1341. presence.

1342. I'm trying to get you to understand that

  1343. there's a miraculous power, a

  1344. supernatural release that brings

1345. deliverance that you access through your

1346. praise. I can stand here and watch the

1347. praise team praise and I will have a

1348. great church service, but it won't do

  1349. nothing for me.

  1350. >> I mean, it'll encourage me a little bit.

1351. You understand? You know, it was good. I

1352. enjoyed the songs. That ain't enough.

1353. >> How many know that's not enough for the

1354. world you got to live in? the stuff you

1355. got to f I can't come in here and just

  1356. be clapping for y'all.

1357. >> There too much going on in this world.

1358. >> The Bible says he inhabits the praise

1359. >> of his people. Psalm 22 and3. And in our

1360. text tonight, and I just want you to

1361. make note of 2 Chronicles 5, it says

1362. that they came in and they began to

1363. worship and praise God until smoke

  1364. >> filled.

1365. And I started to say, "Bring the smoke."

  1366. >> Yes, sir.

1367. >> Can I tell you something? You say,

1368. "Well, I don't feel like it today."

1369. Well, can I just throw this out to you?

1370. Your lack of participation is hindering

1371. the amount of glory that God releases.

1372. And somebody on your row needs a miracle

1373. and you may be holding stuff up.

  1374. [applause]

  1375. >> That's why I'mma shout with anybody to

  1376. shout. I don't know what they're going

  1377. through. I ain't got to know. I don't

1378. even feel like it sometime.

1379. >> It don't matter. Put my little hand up.

1380. >> I ain't going to let you do by yourself.

1381. Why? Whatever my praise adds to the

  1382. environment

1383. >> because I know that when they begin to

1384. praise and worship. You saw it in

1385. Jericho when they praised and worshiped

1386. God and shouted. All of them shouted

1387. with a great shout, the walls fell flat.

1388. Somebody needs some limits to fall off

1389. your life right now. That takes us all

  1390. shouting. [cheering]

  1391. >> [applause]

1392. >> Man, we got to be willing to COME IN AND

1393. GIVE GOD THE GLORY UNTIL SMOKE fills

1394. >> because somebody needs more than maybe

  1395. you do today.

1396. >> You may just think, "I'm good.

1397. Everything all right?" Okay. Well, maybe

  1398. three three folk down

  1399. >> got a cancer diagnosis.

1400. >> And if you could just stop

  1401. >> being so comfortable,

1402. >> you even sit like you comfortable,

1403. right? You know, we in church, we trying

1404. to get into it like, you know, you want

1405. people to be like, y'all be

1406. >> Oh, but we're not going to do that. In

1407. Acts chapter 16, let me just close the

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  1408. Bible because that's what's happening.

1409. Paul and Silas had every reason.

  1410. >> Yes.

1411. >> Get this. They doing what's right and

  1412. then they get beat

1413. and they get put in jail

1414. >> and they get put in the inner in the

1415. inner part of the prison

1416. >> and they're hurting back is beaten

1417. kicked stoned whole nine terrible stuff

  1418. bleeding

  1419. and at midnight

  1420. >> my god

1421. >> cuz priests do it every day and in the

1422. evening. though they at at midnight

1423. >> they began to pray

  1424. >> and sing praises

1425. >> and the other prisoners

1426. >> heard them. They said, "Uh-uh, we are

  1427. hurting. We've been through a lot. We've

1428. been mistreated. Our backs hurt. We got

1429. headaches. All kind of stuff going

1430. wrong." BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? THAT DOESN'T

1431. change that God is still God. And that

1432. doesn't change that God is still in the

1433. midst. God is in the midst OF OUR PRISON

1434. JUST LIKE HE WAS IN THE SANCTUARY. SEE,

1435. THAT'S WHY YOU LORD HAVE MERCY. YOU'D

1436. COME OUT A WHOLE LOT FASTER IF YOU

1437. PRAISE GOD IN THE PRISON. THEN GOD COULD

1438. GET YOU OUT OF THE PRISON. BUT AS LONG

1439. AS YOU HOLDING ON TO YOUR PRAISE UNTIL

1440. THINGS GET BETTER, YOU ARE DRAGGING THE

  1441. TIME OUT.

1442. The Bible said they begin to pray and

  1443. sing praises

1444. >> and THEY SUNG AND PRAISE SO LOUD I COULD

1445. just hear, "Father, I stretch." Is that

1446. what you said? my hands to thee. NO

1447. OTHER HELP I KNOW. IF THOU WITHDRAW,

1448. Y'ALL DON'T KNOW THE HYMN. THYSELF FROM

1449. ME, WHEITHER SHALL I GO? THEY START

1450. SINGING AND PRAYING AND THE PRAISES

1451. START FILLING THE TEMPLE. SHOOT THE

1452. PRISON. THEY TURNED IT into

1453. >> I dare YOU TO TURN YOUR PRISON INTO A

1454. TEMPLE. I DARE YOU TO TURN IT INTO A

1455. SANCTUARY. THEY START SINGING and

1456. praying. AND THE BIBLE SAID GOD ALLOWED

1457. AN EARTHQUAKE. SEE, THERE'S SOMETHING

  1458. SUPERNATURAL

1459. THAT'S RUMBLING RIGHT NOW. ALL YOU GOT

1460. TO DO IS OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND SAY, "GOD,

1461. [screaming] I THANK you even at

1462. midnight. I THANK YOU EVEN AFTER I'VE

1463. BEEN BEATEN. I THANK YOU EVEN THOUGH IT

  1464. DIDN'T GO MY WAY."

1465. AND THE Bible said it shook

1466. >> until watch this. I'm done. She heard

1467. it. Ding Florence. All of them got

  1468. loosed.

1469. >> Okay, you you you Okay, y'all missed it.

1470. >> Here go the power of the praise that's

  1471. in your mouth.

1472. >> They sang and praised, BUT EVERYBODY GOT

1473. LOOSE. YOU [screaming] GOT DELIVERANCE

1474. IN YOUR MOUTH. YOU GOT SUPERNATURAL

1475. POWER IN your mouth. Church, [screaming]

  1476. say it.

  1477. >> Digina, our praise

1478. >> could set the front row free.

  1479. >> Hallelujah.

1480. Y'all's praise COULD SET THAT SECTION

  1481. FREE. YOUR PRAISE

1482. CAN SET YOUR FAMILY FREE.

1483. YOUR PRAISE CAN CHANGE YOUR COMMUNITY.

  1484. SAY IT.

  1485. Say it.

1486. >> So hear me. I want us to make a

  1487. commitment

1488. >> to realizing what's in our mouth.

  1489. >> My thank you.

1490. Not only does it bless him,

1491. >> but it opens prison doors.

  1492. My hallelujah

1493. >> blesses him, but can bring healing to

  1494. somebody.

  1495. >> God told me, "I'm done."

1496. >> He said, "The way you come in to worship

1497. >> is like setting the thermostat."

1498. >> They use the flip side of it when you at

  1499. the doctor.

1500. You go in there for surgery,

1501. >> it is butt cold.

1502. >> So, what is going on?

1503. >> Y'all know I'm fit to be naked. What is

  1504. wrong?

1505. But they need the temperature at a

1506. certain place. They don't need it hot

  1507. and sticky.

  1508. >> We'll flip it.

1509. We need it so hot

1510. >> that demons don't want to stay.

1511. >> WE NEED IT SO HOT IN HERE THAT THE

1512. PASTOR CAN PREACH WHEN HE GETS UP. WE

1513. NEED IT SO HOT IN HERE THAT SOMEBODY CAN

  1514. GO HOME WITH JOY.

  1515. >> SO, let's just make a commitment to

1516. considering that we are called to

  1517. praise.

1518. Right? And so now we're going to have a

1519. little bit more engagement and

  1520. enthusiasm

1521. >> in offering that to God

1522. >> because you going to access your next

  1523. level of victory.

1524. >> That thing coming through your praise.

  1525. [cheering and applause]

1526. I shouted my way out of debt. Let's be

1527. clear about that, folks. I dance my way

1528. out of debt. Oh Lord have mercy.

1529. I cried my way through

1530. >> and got out of some junk

  1531. >> cuz praise

1532. >> gives you access to the oil.

1533. >> Lord, we thank you tonight

1534. >> for your word. Just

1535. >> Lord, help us to be mindful.

1536. >> We come to praise you

1537. >> and we should live every day to praise

1538. you. It's our assignment. But Lord, help

1539. us to remember the power

  1540. >> that's in our praise.

1541. >> Praise is our weapon, too.

  1542. >> And it's what we do.

1543. >> So Lord, receive our praise

1544. >> and set captives free.

1545. >> Let your heart be warmed [music]

1546. >> and our hearts be healed

1547. >> as we walk in our divine calling

  1548. >> as praisers

  1549. >> in Jesus name.

  1550. Amen.

  1551. >> Amen.

  1552. >> Amen. [applause]
