  1. Amen. God bless you. You may be seated.

  2. This is the day the Lord has made and I

  3. will rejoice and be glad in it.

  4. >> Amen and amen. I don't know where you

  5. got that little picture from.

  6. [laughter]

  7. Can we celebrate this woman of faith and

  8. woman of God again? Can we do that?

  9. >> THIS REAL QUICK. GOD'S GETTING READY TO

  10. DO Totally

  11. amazing.

  12. Everything that has been done has been

  13. done first class which is a reflection

  14. of who you are and reflection of what

  15. you know you have meant to so many many

  16. people. And so um uh we celebrate you

  17. today. And can we celebrate this church

  18. that has gone all out? [applause]

  19. [music]

  20. I mean, you you took you took retirement

  21. to a whole another level today.

  22. >> And Taurus is happy and the boys are

  23. happy and their wives are happy.

  24. [laughter]

  25. Amen. Amen. Amen.

  26. So, uh, we honor you today. It was my

  27. joy to be here. And I know you've been

  28. talking about it. You told me, "Don't

  29. you put nothing on that date. Don't you

  30. put nothing on that date." And so we're

  31. here and we're so happy to be here. And

  32. of course, uh, can you all just, uh,

  33. celebrate, uh, my partner in ministry

  34. for 50 years,

  35. >> Lady Bal,

  36. [music]

  37. Hallelujah.

  38. for all of the pastors and leaders,

  39. especially pastors who took out their

  40. time uh from their churches on Sunday

  41. morning to come and be here. Um I'm

  42. we're just all honored that you did that

  43. and you made your sister in Christ feel

  44. real good when she could look out and

  45. see uh the the amazing sacrifice that

  46. you made by being here today. Amen.

  47. Amen.

  48. >> And so, uh, I also want to just say

  49. from, uh, New Light, New Life, uh, you

  50. know, I have restructured. I didn't

  51. retire. I restructured and I speak

  52. restructure on you. You can't quit

  53. preaching, lady.

  54. >> Now, you can't know. So, we, we call

  55. this retirement, but slashreststructure.

  56. >> Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord.

  57. And so uh um our pastor, my my daughter

  58. is the pastor and she loves some Bishop

  59. O'Neal.

  60. >> She I mean she really loves Bishop

  61. O'Neal and uh I want to thank you Bishop

  62. on behalf of New Light and my daughter

  63. for being there for us when we needed

  64. you.

  65. >> Y'all don't know about it.

  66. [applause]

  67. Bishop does. Thank you there. Uh our

  68. family thanks you for being there for us

  69. >> when we needed you.

  70. >> Amen. And if I put a hashtag, I'd say

  71. real daughter.

  72. [applause]

  73. >> So I think I've covered everything I

  74. wanted to cover before we get into the

  75. word. And I'm not going to hold y'all

  76. long, but I do need my water.

  77. >> Amen.

  78. >> I think I started it. Yeah, I do need my

  79. water. And um I'm going to pray. Would

  80. you stand? I'm going to pray and then we

  81. going to get into this.

  82. >> Amen.

  83. >> Thank you, Lord.

  84. >> Now, let's have a smiling exercise.

  85. Turn. Look at the person next to you.

  86. Smile real big. Show them your pretty

  87. whites, your 32s, 22s, tens, whatever

  88. you got left. Amen.

  89. Father, in the name of Jesus, want to

  90. thank you for this time together as we

  91. celebrate this woman of faith and this

  92. church. And we celebrate, Father, we

  93. thank you for the precious Holy Spirit

  94. who is our teacher and our guide. And we

  95. believe he will manifest himself today

  96. as the teacher causing the complex to be

  97. made simple. It is our prayer today,

  98. Father, since you know us name by name

  99. and situation by situation that you will

  100. tailor this word for every individual.

  101. That is our prayer. So in advance, we

  102. give you alone the praise, the glory,

  103. the honor, and the adoration for all

  104. that shall be accomplished, all that

  105. shall be revealed in Jesus' name. And

  106. the people said,

  107. >> "Amen."

  108. >> And the people shouted,

  109. >> "Amen."

  110. >> Hallelujah. God bless you. You may be

  111. seated there in the I think they will

  112. use the screen and help me. But those of

  113. you have your Bibles, we're going to

  114. start off with Ephesians 3 and 20. And

  115. then we have a dual text, Romans chapter

    Romans 4 chapter mention

  116. 4. And there now unto him that is able

  117. to do exceeding abundantly above all

  118. that we ask or think according to the

  119. power that workketh in us. And then uh

  120. our anchoring scripture is going to be

  121. found there in Romans chapter 4. Who

    Romans 4 chapter mention

  122. against hope believed in hope that he

  123. might become the father of many nations

  124. according to that which was spoken so

  125. shall thy seed be. And being not weak in

  126. faith, he considered not his own body

  127. now dead,

  128. >> which is about 100 years old. Neither

  129. neither yet the deadness of Sarah's

  130. womb.

  131. He staggered not at the promise of God

  132. through unbelief,

  133. >> but was strong in faith, giving glory to

  134. God, and being fully persuaded

  135. >> that what he had promised, he was able

  136. also to perform.

  137. >> Here's what we're going to talk about.

  138. Living an audacious life.

  139. >> Living an audacious life. A life of

  140. believing. a life of boldness and a life

  141. of breakthrough. Now, I know that sounds

  142. kind of arrogant.

  143. But it's not really arrogance. It's

  144. really assurance

  145. >> because God wants us to be audacious.

  146. Everybody say audacious.

  147. >> Audacious.

  148. >> And it's about having the courage to

  149. buck the odds,

  150. >> the courage to believe what God's word

  151. says. You know, the choir just finished

  152. singing believe. and it's like we got

  153. together but we really didn't. It's the

  154. Holy Spirit that's orchestrating it. But

  155. when we talk about an audacious person,

  156. audacious, we're saying a person who

  157. will look at the odds and say that does

  158. not define me. When you look into the

  159. hall of faith, all of the people in the

  160. hall of faith there in Hebrews are

  161. people who were audacious.

  162. >> Yeah.

  163. >> Dared to believe, dared to act and got

  164. results.

  165. >> In the contemporary

  166. hall of faith, Bishop Rosie is there.

  167. But the odds,

  168. >> dared to believe,

  169. >> dared to take steps others would not

  170. take and got results. Can we applaud our

  171. audacious person today?

  172. [applause]

  173. Now we are here to celebrate HER BUT HER

  174. LIFE IS LIKE an example even as the life

  175. of those who are in the scripture uh

  176. serves as an example for those who are

  177. really saying can I make it

  178. >> there are those who have

  179. oh it's okay right here

  180. >> [clears throat]

  181. >> There are those people who are saying,

  182. "Can I make it?

  183. >> Can I do it?"

  184. >> The kingdom of God does not need

  185. cautious people.

  186. The kingdom of God needs people who are

  187. audacious with their faith,

  188. >> who will dare to believe,

  189. >> and who will dare to say God can do

  190. exactly what he said he would do.

  191. >> And that is what is the key to stepping

  192. beyond your comfort zone. stepping

  193. beyond the comparison you are you are

  194. making with the status quo. And so we're

  195. going to celebrate her, but we're going

  196. to we're going to be inspired by her

  197. when you look at everything she has

  198. done. Oh my god, she is definitely

  199. audacious.

  200. >> Amen. And amen. And amen. Now, I'm not

  201. going to be long. I only have two

  202. points, but I got sub points under the

  203. two points.

  204. First point is noteworthy. What I call

  205. the noteworthiness of audacious uh

  206. living or the audacious life. And and

  207. then we're going to talk about the

  208. necessity of it.

  209. >> Yeah.

  210. >> All right. Now, in 1980, I'm uh 28 years

  211. old. Praise the Lord.

  212. >> Amen. 1980, I'm [clears throat] 28 years

  213. old, and I'm in a little raggedy,

  214. rundown building, and uh that's where I

  215. got my start.

  216. >> Yes, sir.

  217. >> Yeah. And um I'm the laughingtock of the

  218. community. I had gone through a church

  219. fight and uh I was feeling pretty sad

  220. about myself and my future. And the Lord

  221. talked to me there. He told me he had

  222. great things for me, but I had to be

  223. bold. Now, he didn't give me the word

  224. audacious back then, but he told me I

  225. had to be bold and I wanted to go back

  226. in industry, but he said no. He said,

  227. "I'm going to teach you how to trust me.

  228. I'm going to teach you how to live by

  229. faith."

  230. >> I didn't really want to be I didn't want

  231. to do that. I want to go back in the

  232. industry. I knew how to make these

  233. monies

  234. [laughter]

  235. and and I and I didn't believe God could

  236. take care of me at the level I wanted to

  237. be taken care of because I did not know

  238. any preachers that were where I wanted

  239. to be.

  240. Y'all can judge me if you want to. It

  241. don't matter right now.

  242. >> So, so, so, so, uh, I was a reluctant

  243. student, uh, but I obeyed.

  244. >> But I had to have this kind of faith.

  245. God taught me to believe

  246. um, beyond my circumstances, believe

  247. beyond what I could figure out because

  248. God is able. Yes.

  249. >> And as a result of taking bold steps, we

  250. went from one level to another. Now,

  251. only reason I'm doing this because I'm

  252. presenting to some my resume.

  253. >> So, I'm not teaching audacious faith and

  254. not being a representative of the

  255. audacious faith community.

  256. >> And and [clears throat and laughter] put

  257. the next picture up there. So we move

  258. from there. Uh now that's inside. No,

  259. let's go to Jensen. We seen nothing.

  260. Yeah. Now that's great. I thought I made

  261. it then. And God said, "No, I've got

  262. much more." Had I stopped then, it

  263. required audacious spade from there. Put

  264. the next f photo up there. Yes. Inside.

  265. Because from the little raggedy building

  266. to that building and on television

  267. >> in less than three years.

  268. Now, television back then wasn't like it

  269. is now. You know, like you can go on

  270. YouTube and all that. No, no, no, no,

  271. no. You had to have you had to have

  272. these monies.

  273. Amen.

  274. But in less than two years, from a

  275. little raggedy rundown building to being

  276. on television in a major city in America

  277. because I had to be what's the word?

  278. >> Oh, y'all got it. Y we are. Let's go to

  279. the next prayer. Next. Next. Next photo.

  280. Next photo. Next photo. Yes. Audacious

  281. faith

  282. >> produced in 33 years.

  283. >> A million square ft of property,

  284. 500 acres of land.

  285. >> And we grew from 23 to 28,000.

  286. >> But every step required

  287. audacious faith. Believing beyond

  288. statistics. Believing beyond what folks

  289. said could be done.

  290. >> Believing beyond prejudices.

  291. >> Trusting God knowing that God's able.

  292. >> Bible teaches us that be not slothful,

  293. but followers of them who through faith

  294. and patience inherited promises.

  295. >> It is the order of God to teach us and

  296. to train us by example. I got to keep my

  297. [clears throat] time because I don't

  298. want to go too over time because you

  299. know Yes. I should have had Y'all don't

  300. have a clock in here. You should have

  301. had clock in here preaching like me. Got

  302. to have a clock. Okay. Yeah. All right.

  303. All right. All right. Watch. We good. We

  304. good though. We good. If I can just get

  305. my my phone.

  306. Amen.

  307. >> Now,

  308. here's here's my point. Because it takes

  309. some audaciousness,

  310. living the audacious life to climb out

  311. of whatever situation you're in.

  312. >> Some of you are believing for homes.

  313. Some of you are believing to send your

  314. kids to school

  315. >> and nobody in your co in your family has

  316. gone to college. Some of you are

  317. believing to to do that that you know to

  318. to start that business and all of that.

  319. But yet when you look at the statistics,

  320. they are in your odds. They are against

  321. you.

  322. >> But I'm here today to tell you from the

  323. from the word of God, as we will also

  324. learn from the reflection of this uh

  325. this this audacious person who's trying

  326. to retire.

  327. It's possible. Everybody say it's

  328. possible.

  329. >> It's possible.

  330. >> All right. Number one, we're going to

  331. look at what I call the traits of an a

  332. of an audacious person. The audacious

  333. life. Number one, it's a life of

  334. defiance. Y'all put that up there. Yeah.

  335. Yeah. It the traits. Yeah. Go to the

  336. next one. Yes. Did y'all put them all

  337. three of them? Y'all put put them up

  338. there. Well, it's audacious faith. You

  339. have to defy the odds. Abraham looked at

  340. his situation, but he did not let that

  341. define him. It's a life of defiance. He

  342. hoped against hope.

  343. >> Right? It is a life of um of

  344. determination.

  345. >> You have to determine that you're going

  346. to win. What do you mean determine?

  347. You're going to live in your future.

  348. >> You might as well live in a future that

  349. you plan.

  350. >> Look at the person next to you and say,

  351. "You're going to live in your future."

  352. >> You might as well live in a future

  353. >> that you plan.

  354. >> The audacious life is a life of

  355. durability. The Bible says he staggered

  356. not at the promise of unbelief.

  357. >> He staggered. HE DID NOT MAKE the

  358. mistake that Thomas made. Thomas

  359. staggered. Why did he staggered? Because

  360. his criteria for believing was flawed.

  361. >> He said, "If I can examine him, I will

  362. believe. What's up?

  363. >> If I can touch him, if I can put my

  364. finger in that hole that was in his

  365. hand, if I can put my hand in the hole

  366. that was in his side, I will believe.

  367. Believing is a matter of your will. You

  368. can will to believe or you can will not

  369. to believe. That's powerful because the

  370. Bible says if you can believe all things

  371. are possible to him that believeth. So

  372. possibility for you is not defined by

  373. what others have done or whether others

  374. have not done. Possibility for you is

  375. defined by your capacity to believe.

  376. >> So if you can't believe things become

  377. possible for you. Amen and amen. Now, so

  378. what Thomas had, his flawed criteria

  379. was, I got to touch him to believe.

  380. Well, Bible says eight days later, Jesus

  381. appeared. Come here, Thomas. Put your

  382. hand in my side. Put your finger in the

  383. hole in my hand. Thomas starts shouting.

  384. Jesus shut him down. He said, "No, no,

  385. no, no, Thomas." Uh uh uh. He said, "I'm

  386. not going to stay around here long

  387. enough. Everybody touch me and examine

  388. me." And then he said, "Blessed are

  389. those who will believe and have not

  390. seen."

  391. >> So he's saying here that believing is to

  392. accept something as a fact even though

  393. you have no sens.

  394. The evidence we have is what the word of

  395. God says.

  396. >> So then now audaciousness, the audacious

  397. life is a life of of determination. It's

  398. a life of defying the odds. It's a life

  399. of durability. And it is a life of

  400. devotion. The Bible says in verse 20

  401. there, "And giving glory to God."

  402. >> See, you give glory while you're

  403. waiting. You don't wait to give glory

  404. until you see the results.

  405. >> Audacious faith. Now let's go through

  406. the hall of faith and just look at the

  407. some of the testimonies. The Bible says

  408. they overcame by the blood of the lamb

  409. which is our covenant. But then he says

  410. they overcame by the word of their

  411. >> testimony. Testimonies are good. Amen.

  412. Testimonies are good because every time

  413. I hear a testimony of what God has done,

  414. I understand he can do the same for me.

  415. Amen and amen. So audacious faith

  416. believes when everything around looks

  417. hopeless. Believes when others quit.

  418. Believes. And we have the God-given

  419. capacity to believe.

  420. >> Amen and amen. Well, Moses is on the

  421. testimony block now. And Moses is

  422. audacious because he believed he could

  423. stretch out his rod and the water would

  424. part.

  425. >> Amen. David is on the testimony stand.

  426. He's audacious because he's audacious in

  427. his confrontation. He's willing to fight

  428. a giant that never lost a battle.

  429. >> And because he believed he won. Amen.

  430. Then Esther, can we call Esther and let

  431. Esther testify? Esther testifies because

  432. she was audacious in her advocacy. What

  433. do you mean? She was bold enough to

  434. believe that even though it doesn't look

  435. good, I can step forward and be the

  436. advocate for the innocent and win. Peter

  437. is on the testimony stand now and Peter

  438. is audacious in his action

  439. >> because on the words of Jesus while

  440. others was in the boat he steps out of

  441. the boat

  442. >> and he walks on water. Now I don't think

  443. you heard me.

  444. >> Ezekiel was great but he never walked on

  445. water.

  446. >> Daniel was awesome but he never walked

  447. on water. Three Hebrew boys never walked

  448. on water. When you GO THROUGH THE TEXT,

  449. NOBODY'S WALKING ON THE water but Jesus

  450. and Peter because of audacious faith.

  451. >> Joshua is on the stand. Why? Because he

  452. had an audacious strategy.

  453. >> Doesn't make sense. HIS STRATEGY THAT HE

  454. GOT from God that was to just to walk

  455. around the wall and God would give him

  456. the victory. It takes audaciousness to

  457. believe that I can walk around the world

  458. and never raise my sword and get the

  459. victory.

  460. >> Elijah is on the stand and he's

  461. audacious BECAUSE HE BELIEVED HE COULD

  462. CALL DOWN fire

  463. >> and fire would fall.

  464. >> Three Hebrew boys are on the stand

  465. because they were audacious to say,

  466. "King, if you don't put us in THE FIRE,

  467. WE STILL AIN'T going to bow." And even

  468. though in the fire, they were audacious

  469. enough to believe they would get out.

  470. And Jesus visited them.

  471. >> Yeah. Audacious faith. Audaciousness.

  472. Yeah. The woman with the issue of blood.

  473. Audacious in her pursuit. She pressed

  474. THROUGH THE CROWD BELIEVING IF I CAN

  475. JUST TOUCH THE HIM. [laughter] YEAH.

  476. AUDACIOUSNESS. AMEN. And amen. You know,

  477. I could go on, but for time's sake, just

  478. let me stop here. I could talk about

  479. Nehemiah, but I want to do that. I could

  480. talk about Caleb in his old age being

  481. audacious, but I don't want to do that.

  482. I'm almost on my last point.

  483. >> The last point is the necessity of the

  484. audacious life.

  485. H

  486. >> yeah, it's on it's it's necessary

  487. because God needs audacious believers

  488. >> to inspire others.

  489. >> Now, y'all think y'all missed it.

  490. He needs audacious believers

  491. >> in every generation

  492. >> so they can inspire those who are

  493. sitting on the sidelines saying, "I

  494. don't know if I can do it."

  495. >> Amen and amen. Amen. God depends on the

  496. courageous faith of believers who will

  497. partner with him so that they can see

  498. him move supernaturally

  499. >> because God just can't do anything he

  500. wants to do. He has designed the system

  501. where he needs human permission and

  502. human participation.

  503. >> Yeah. So what he's saying, what I'm

  504. saying to you now is for you to be where

  505. you want to be. God says he's ready. But

  506. are you willing to be bold in your

  507. believing? That's the key. Amen and

  508. amen. All right. So the you need

  509. audacity. Those of you who may be taking

  510. [clears throat] notes, you need audacity

  511. to defeat adversity.

  512. >> You need audacity. I'm going to give

  513. them to you and I go back. You need

  514. audacity uh um uh I call it an audacious

  515. resolve to develop you know uh uh to

  516. yeah let me put it like this you you

  517. need it so that you can have determined

  518. action

  519. under pressure.

  520. >> Everybody say under pressure.

  521. >> Under pressure.

  522. >> You need to get audacious. Watch. Watch

  523. this. So that you have this divine

  524. assurance. You know a lot of times when

  525. you have assurance when you have a

  526. confidence people call you arrogant.

  527. >> They do they call you arrogant but

  528. that's all right. We know it's just our

  529. assurance.

  530. >> It's just our assurance. And so when we

  531. look at these to defeat adversity,

  532. >> first of all, situation adversity

  533. when things don't look good.

  534. >> Amen. Everybody say situation adversity.

  535. >> Situation adversity.

  536. >> David faces a giant never lost battle.

  537. Everybody else is afraid. Those are not

  538. good quote winning conditions,

  539. >> right?

  540. >> So I need to be audacious. That's what I

  541. mean. I need to believe it's possible. I

  542. need to believe God's with me. I believe

  543. that whatever God said he'll do, he'll

  544. do. Even if everybody else is doubting,

  545. >> Jehoshaphat

  546. adversity,

  547. >> situational adversity,

  548. >> three armies against him,

  549. >> not knowing what to do. Paul and Silas,

  550. situation adversity. God told him, "Go

  551. start a church."

  552. >> And now here they are in jail.

  553. So, I'm saying you may be in a bad

  554. situation,

  555. >> but that's all right.

  556. >> THAT'S THE SETUP FOR MIRACLES.

  557. >> That's the setup for your breakthrough.

  558. [applause]

  559. Amen. And the Bible teaches us on the

  560. ever on the other side. Everybody say

  561. other side.

  562. >> Other side.

  563. >> THE ON THE OTHER SIDE of adverse

  564. situations

  565. >> is a victory.

  566. >> Watch this. and you always come out

  567. better.

  568. >> Well, see, see, some of y'all, you got

  569. to believe that. See, you you got to

  570. believe in the midst of your struggle,

  571. in the midst of the situation, I'm

  572. coming out better.

  573. >> It's all throughout the scripture. It

  574. says, "NOW FOR YOUR SHAME, YOU'LL GET

  575. DOUBLE."

  576. >> But that's not what people see, the will

  577. of God, though expressed in the word of

  578. God does not automatically come to pass.

  579. >> Right?

  580. So what most people do is they get

  581. through it and go, "Praise the Lord."

  582. And the Lord is over HERE SAYING, "COME

  583. ON, GET YOUR DOUBLE."

  584. >> STAY IN FAITH FOR YOUR DOUBLE.

  585. >> HALLELUJAH.

  586. >> So now, not only do you need faith uh

  587. that this audaciousness for um uh uh

  588. situational adversity, but also to face

  589. uh spiritual adversaries.

  590. >> Amen.

  591. Everybody say spiritual adversary.

  592. >> Spiritual adversary.

  593. >> WE DON'T BACK down from the devil's

  594. fight.

  595. >> The gates of

  596. >> hell can't stop us.

  597. >> But do you believe it?

  598. >> Look at the person and say he I believe

  599. it. Come on. Tell my brother.

  600. And then we need audacious faith and

  601. audacious living when it comes to

  602. defeating self-imposed limitations.

  603. >> Oh, that's good.

  604. >> Every person, well, not every most of

  605. the people in the Bible had this this

  606. self-imposed limitation. Moses talking

  607. about he I can't talk. Are you talking

  608. to God?

  609. >> Gideon says I you CAN'T USE ME. MY

  610. FAMILY IS THE WORST FAMILY AROUND.

  611. Jeremiah said, "Oh, I'm I'm nothing but

  612. a child." All throughout the Bible,

  613. >> people had to overcome

  614. >> their own

  615. >> selfimposed

  616. limitation.

  617. >> That's right.

  618. >> And so there you are. I I can't do it

  619. because this I can't do IT CUZ I DROPPED

  620. OUT of school. I can't do it cuz I got

  621. all these children. I can't do it. You

  622. got all of these self-imposed. But

  623. here's why the audacious life works.

  624. Because it's not dependent on you.

  625. >> It's dependent on him.

  626. >> You got to have the conict [laughter]

  627. the conviction. The conviction, watch

  628. this, of God's ability to work.

  629. Everybody say, "God's ability."

  630. >> God's ability.

  631. >> You have to have the conviction of the

  632. accuracy of the word. THE WORD SAYS IT.

  633. THE word [laughter]

  634. and his he honors his word. Abraham said

  635. he was ABLE TO PERFORM WHAT HE PROMISED.

  636. >> You got to have the conviction uh

  637. believing the accounts of the witnesses.

  638. >> Oh my.

  639. >> Are you getting this?

  640. >> The ability of God to work.

  641. >> Accuracy of his word, accounts of his

  642. witnesses, AND ANGELS DOING GOD'S WILL.

  643. >> Everybody say, "Angels."

  644. >> Angels

  645. >> doing God's will.

  646. >> Doing God's will. You got to believe in

  647. angels. They You got one. Amen. Some of

  648. you got more than one in in certain

  649. situations. And watch this. The

  650. accuracy. Watch it. No. The assurance of

  651. God's will. Now, what do you mean by

  652. that? God's willingness.

  653. >> I discovered

  654. >> God wants to.

  655. >> Oh, y'all didn't even get that.

  656. >> You ain't got to begging.

  657. He wants to

  658. >> He wants to.

  659. >> I found out that he wants to. I grew up

  660. in a church setting where they begged

  661. him, "Oh, please. Oh, please. Oh, but

  662. but I found out he's ready,

  663. >> willing,

  664. >> and able."

  665. >> Amen. And amen.

  666. >> I'm I'm just about ready to to wrap this

  667. up because all I wanted to do today was

  668. to inspire you. that hey yes we are

  669. seeing and we are seeing a contemporary

  670. example of audacious living.

  671. >> I I've watched the progression of her

  672. ministry.

  673. >> What a great celebration it is today.

  674. >> But I want you to be able to say so can

  675. I. No not necessarily building ministry

  676. but my dreams can come to pass.

  677. that what God promised me in the word

  678. >> and watch this stepping forward. Watch

  679. this. Denying circumstances. The Bible

  680. says he considered not he he was not in

  681. denial but he did not let circumstances

  682. shut off his faith

  683. >> and define his future.

  684. >> Amen and amen.

  685. >> You got to choose to believe.

  686. >> May I start my closing?

  687. A story is told.

  688. >> The story is told of

  689. two trees

  690. growing in the forest.

  691. >> One was a giant oak tree.

  692. >> Uhhuh.

  693. >> And the other tree was a young tree.

  694. Young oak tree.

  695. growing next to him.

  696. >> Oak trees are known for their

  697. durability,

  698. >> their stamina,

  699. >> so this young oak tree, while he's

  700. growing, he's asking the question to the

  701. old oak tree.

  702. >> Year after year, am I an oak tree?

  703. >> Looked at him and said, not yet.

  704. >> Not yet. [clears throat]

  705. >> Years went by. The young oak tree then

  706. says again,

  707. "Am I an oak tree?"

  708. >> The old oak tree says,

  709. >> "Not yet."

  710. >> Not yet.

  711. >> He argues with him. He says, "I'm as

  712. tall as you are."

  713. >> God.

  714. >> But the old priest says,

  715. "Not yet." He said, "No, no, no. My

  716. limbs are as broad as yours."

  717. Yes sir. Yes sir.

  718. >> And the old oak old tree says

  719. >> not yet.

  720. >> Not yet.

  721. >> HE AUGUST I PROVIDE SHADE JUST LIKE YOU

  722. DO. But he says

  723. >> not yet.

  724. >> Not yet.

  725. >> Then a storm comes

  726. >> and knock trees down all over the forest

  727. >> causes even the old oak tree to bend

  728. under the weight of the storm.

  729. The young oak tree is also bent under

  730. the weight of the storm.

  731. >> But after the storm passes,

  732. >> the old oak tree straighten himself out.

  733. >> Shook its limb. Yes, sir. [cheering]

  734. >> Stood tall.

  735. >> And looked down

  736. >> at the old at the young oak tree.

  737. He watched the young oak tree struggle

  738. >> stand

  739. >> and stretch his limbs.

  740. >> And then he looked

  741. >> and he said, "Today

  742. >> you are

  743. >> AN OAK TREE."

  744. >> [applause]

  745. >> I WANT TO CLOSE WITH this

  746. >> because Rosie sir,

  747. >> I've watched you

  748. >> and I want to say today,

  749. >> you are an oak tree. [cheering]

  750. >> Can I get a witness in the house?

  751. In the area of teaching,

  752. >> you are

  753. >> an oak tree.

  754. >> In the area of preaching, yes, sir,

  755. >> you are an oak tree.

  756. >> In the area of family,

  757. >> yes, sir,

  758. >> you are

  759. >> an oak tree.

  760. >> Yes, sir.

  761. >> In the area of leadership,

  762. >> sir.

  763. >> You are an oak tree.

  764. >> I'm here to announce

  765. >> Yes, sir. In the area of boldness,

  766. >> you are an oak tree.

  767. >> In the area of a worshipper,

  768. >> you are an oak tree.

  769. >> In the area of overcoming,

  770. >> can I get a witness?

  771. >> You are an oak tree.

  772. >> I'm here to tell you today.

  773. >> Can I celebrate just a little bit?

  774. I'm here to tell you today

  775. >> you stand as an oak tree

  776. >> and I'm happy to announce

  777. >> that you are an oak tree.

  778. >> You know I I start preaching when I was

  779. young.

  780. >> And I wish when I was young I could

  781. close like the old guys clothes.

  782. >> Here's how they would close. Hallelujah.

  783. >> I lived long enough. Yes, sir.

  784. >> But I was only 12 years old,

  785. >> but I've been around a little bit. Yes,

  786. sir.

  787. >> I'm 73 now.

  788. >> I think I've earned the right

  789. >> Yes, sir.

  790. >> to make this testimony.

  791. >> I've lived

  792. >> long enough

  793. >> to know that God will. [cheering]

  794. >> He will make a way.

  795. I've lived [screaming]

  796. >> long enough

  797. >> and I can tell you

  798. >> with conviction

  799. >> with coniction.

  800. >> There is

  801. >> there is

  802. >> no shadow

  803. >> he won't light up.

  804. >> There is

  805. no mountain

  806. >> that he won't climb up.

  807. coming after you.

  808. There is

  809. >> no wall

  810. >> he won't kick down

  811. >> and no lie

  812. >> that he won't tear down

  813. coming after you.

  814. >> IT IS NO SECRET

  815. >> all

  816. what God can do.

  817. What he's done for us, he will

  818. >> do for you. I'm out of time.

  819. [music]

  820. >> Has thou not known?

  821. >> Had thou not heard? God the everlasting

  822. father.

  823. >> Creator of the ends of the earth

  824. >> faintth not,

  825. >> neither is he weary.

  826. >> And there is no searching of his

  827. understanding. Yes, sir.

  828. >> He giveth power

  829. >> to the faint.

  830. >> And to them who have no might,

  831. >> Yes, sir.

  832. >> He increasth strength.

  833. >> Even the youth shall faint

  834. >> and be weary.

  835. >> Yes, sir.

  836. >> And the young men shall utterly fall.

  837. But they that wait,

  838. >> they that wait

  839. upon the Lord.

  840. >> Yeah. [music]

  841. >> Hallelujah.

  842. Father, we thank you for this word is

  843. falling on good ground

  844. >> and it produces fruit and we thank you

  845. for the boldness to move forward

  846. >> in Jesus name pursuing our dreams

  847. >> using this example before us.

  848. >> Thank you Jesus

  849. >> knowing that it is no secret

  850. >> what you can do

  851. >> in Jesus name.

  852. >> Amen.

  853. And

  854. >> amen.
