Time to Possess the Land

Hello and welcome to the Arise Church Podcast.

We are so glad you're here and want to thank you for joining us

today for the audio version of our Sunday morning message.

Well, this morning, I know we've taken some extra time for these

things, but you're going to want to buckle up because this is

going to be a powerful message. Pastor Beth Farrell is going to

be speaking to us this morning and bring in the word.

So why don't you grab your Bible and help me welcome Beth Farrell

all. Right.

Thank you, Pastor Ty. Good morning.

As Pastor Ty said, I'm Beth Farrell and before I get

started, I want to honor Pastors Ty and Lilia for giving me the

opportunity to speak today and for pouring into us for the past

four years. It's been 4 years, right?

So thank you. We just, we love them and we

want to honor them. For those who really don't know

me, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

And Pastor Ty said I had two hours, so you guys are good with

that, right? All right, so for those who

don't know me, I have been married to my high school

sweetheart. Where is Ethereus?

We dated the first time when I was 17, and we've been together

39 years. Hard to believe our anniversary

is coming up. This year will be 37 years.

We have a precious daughter, Sarah right there.

She's a NC State Wolfpack Junior Go Pack and we have a bonus

daughter, Emily, who we love so much.

And Tyson. Sarah's boyfriend's been in our

family for four years now, so we're grateful for Tyson too.

So fun fact, we live on a farm. We have cows and chickens and

goats. 2 very old goats that came from an agritourism

business that we had for years where we opened our farm for

corn maze and basically a carnival.

So some of you may have heard of Green Acres Farm in Cary.

That was us and it was fun. I met someone here a couple of

weeks ago and she had been to our farm and we didn't even know

each other. So that was kind of fun.

But you're not here to hear about all this, so let me get

started. So today's message, I really

sought the Lord to hear what He wanted to share with you guys

today. And today's message is entitled.

It is time to possess the land. And I felt it was very

imperative to add it is time. So there's something about the

timing of this He's wanting all of us to catch.

Now is the time. The last time I talked from this

platform, I felt led to share the story of Joshua's.

He was leading the Israelites across the Jordan River.

And that was a very prophetic time.

It was in line with what our church was going through at the

time. And I was, let me tell you this,

I really can't see your faces. So when I'm talking, don't think

I'm pointing you out, OK? Just smile at me.

You know, I'm not pointing you out.

My contacts are kind of blurry. So.

But it was a very prophetic time at our church.

And so I felt like it was went hand in hand.

So today we're going to pick up after the Israelites have

crossed the Jordan, and so we're going to start there.

So if you'll open your Bibles to Joshua chapter 6, we're going to

Joshua 6 · chapter mention

read verses one through 5. If you don't have your Bibles,

we will have it on the screen for you.

Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of

Israel. None went out and none came in.

And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho into

your hand, it's king. And the mighty men of valor, you

shall March around the city. All you men of war, you shall go

all around the city once. This you shall do 6 days, and

seven priests shall bear 7 trumpets of ram's horns before

the ark. But the 7th day you shall March

around the city 7 times, and the priest shall blow the trumpets.

It shall come to pass when they make a long blast with a ram's

horn. And when you hear the sound of

the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout.

Then the wall of the city will fall flat.

It will fall down flat. Excuse me?

And the people shall go up, every man straight before him.

So God had already appointed Joshua to lead his people into

the promised land. And we see in verse 2 that God

had already given Jericho to them.

But even though God had given Jericho to them, and even though

the fear of God had already fallen on the people, God

required action from them. So that is where we are today.

God is requiring action from each of us, and now is the time

apparently. And as I was preparing the

message, I felt like the Lord wanted to challenge us as his

sons and daughters to possess the land in our lives.

So what do I mean by that? There are promises that Jesus

has given us. There are things that he

purchased for us on the cross that we don't walk in daily,

each of us. So He's wanting us to possess

that. Now you're going to see several

words and themes within this message that are important to

catch. So now, now is the timing.

God's calling us into alignment and into action.

So please listen with ears to hear concerning those words now,

alignment and action. I'm just asked, Holy Spirit,

that you would just guide my words that everything that you

would have these precious people of yours to receive and hear,

they will hear in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I will say this before I really get started.

I just feel like such a love and a compassion, even though the

over the words I'm going to say, just know they're they're

covered in love. They're covered in God's love

for you. It's his love and his

compassion, his great desire to have community with you and

communion and to talk with you and to share things with you

intimately. So that's where this is coming

from. I just really felt his love for

those that are in here who are hurting today.

And I know we've hit on that. Pastor Ty hit on that.

I think even pastor, I just drew a blank.

Pastor Tim during worship, he was, he was calling on the Lord

to heal the wounds. Like I really feel like there's

a lot of hurt and on people who are struggling and Jesus is

close to you. God is close to the broken

hearted. So just know that His love is

here and I believe healing is going to take place today in

your life. So it is time to possess the

land. I feel like it's a prophetic

timing with our church here. I don't want to sound weird with

that statement, but we can all agree that there are seasons and

times in life. And I feel like this is the time

right now that we're to jump into the flow of what the Holy

Spirit is doing. So let's begin with the word

alignment, OK? Back in 2019, I had a picture in

my mind as I was praying for our church and I saw this long arrow

and the shaft of the arrow was missing people.

The shaft was made-up of people and the tip of the arrow was

flaming. And I understood from the Lord

that when key people were in position that were meant to be

here that we would be catapulted.

The Lord would catapult us. And I've heard the word

alignment Fast forward, that was back in 2019.

So Fast forward, Pastor Ty is here.

He takes us on a leadership retreat and he has us seek the

Lord, the leaders, He challenged us to seek the Lord for a word

for 2026, wasn't it for this year.

And I was in my bedroom, we were all in a VRBO, and I was in my

bedroom seeking the Lord. And I was looking up scriptures

on alignment and this stood out to me.

So I really feel like this was key to share today.

Alignment is the place where we are positioned by coming into

agreement with God. So alignment is the place where

we're positioned by coming into agreement with God.

How do we come into agreement with God?

You agree with his word, you're in his will, right?

So it's a positioning O. Then I went to the lower deck

that morning of the house to write in my journal and I was

execting to see the sunrise because we were at the beach.

And when I looked U instead of the sunrise, I saw a lighthouse

that was right in front of Maine.

And I was taken back to a vision that I had of arise being a

lighthouse for the Lord when Pastor Ties and Lilia first got

here. But I felt like the Holy Spirit

said it seems like things were in the distance right now, but

at least they can be seen. And it was because of that

alignment where I was sitting that I could see this, this

thing that was right ahead of us.

So even reading this right now, the word see stands out to me.

Proper alignment allows us to see, proper alignment with the

Lord is going to allow you to see, you're going to see the

things that God wants you to see, things that you might not

be able to see otherwise. So then Fast forward to last

Sunday. We were in the prayer room and

for those who are interested, we have early morning prayer at

8:30 on Sundays. We'd love to have you, but we

were praying for the service. And I saw just a picture of a

healthy spine show up and I was like, OK, someone prayed the

word alignment. And with that I had the

understanding. I'm all like, Oh yeah, I've

never thought about alignment. If your spine is in perfect

alignment, there's perfect flow. The nerves are not pinched,

nothing's bulging, nothing's grabbing.

Everything flows. So I felt like the Lord is

showing us that now it's time to align.

If you're not, if you feel like you're not in alignment with the

things of the Lord, now is the time.

OK, for those who are visiting and haven't heard this before,

Pastor Ty several years ago, he felt led to change the name of

the church and the the term arise stood out to him and it

was from Isaiah 60, verse 1. He mentioned it today.

Isaiah 60:1

It's not just a name of a church, but it's a call to

action because we are called to arise.

So if you're a part of this body, you are challenged.

You're challenged to arise in every area of your life to arise

in in your walk with the Lord. I'm not going to take time to

read the whole chapter to you, but Isaiah 60 verses one and two

says arise, shine for your light has come in the glory of the

Lord is risen upon you. For behold the darkness shall

cover the earth in deep darkness.

The people that the Lord will arise over you and his glory

will be seen upon you. So we use that entire chapter as

an encouragement to us, and we believe that the Lord is going

to arise over us and his glory is going to be seen upon us as a

church. So it's just a snippet.

These little bits are just a snippet of God, what God's doing

here today and doing here in this church.

And we believe it's kind of part of a prophetic tapestry that

God's building here, that word might may sound weird to some

people. So in other words, it's like a

foundational thing here at Arise Church.

And we believe it's going to happen inside of our walls and

outside of our walls. As Pastor JJ was saying, we have

this fund so that we can go outside of our walls and we can

reach souls for the Kingdom. One thing I really want you to

understand is that God still speaks to His people.

He still speaks to, and I really felt that He really wants to you

to learn how to hear from Him. If you don't already know how He

wants that communication with you.

It's imperative in this day and time that you hear from Him.

So if you're not coming to church with the anticipation

from hearing from the Lord, then you're going to miss what he has

for you. Because every time anyone's on

this platform, trust me, they have sought the Lord.

They've been on their face to hear what God wants for you to

hear. So please always come with a

great expectation that you're going to hear from the Lord and

take what Nuggets God is saying to you from these these messages

on Sundays or anytime our church is open.

Honestly, we pray each week that you will hear from the Lord and

that you'll feel God's love as soon as you step on this

property. I pray that you feel his love.

You have been prayed for every every Sunday morning.

We're praying for you. We're praying for you throughout

the week and I pray you feel that covering all right, so

let's pray you catch the wind of what the Spirit is going to say.

So here's the message. That was all extra.

OK All right, So how do we possess the land?

First, individually, we need to seek God.

Those who are familiar with the story of Moses know that he was

insecure. He felt incapable of doing what

God asked him to do and giving God his Yes, Moses sought the

Lord and he interceded on the behalf of some very stiff necked

people. If you're familiar with the Old

Testament, all the Israelites, they, they gave him a fit.

But Moses was faithful and he grew in his relationship with

the Lord because he spent time with him and he was his

mouthpiece a lot to the Israelites.

He had a wonderful relationship with the Lord.

How many of you want to have a wonderful relationship with the

Lord? OK, how do we do that?

If we are interested in getting to know someone, we spend time

with them, right? We spend time with them.

We want to know what their likes are, their dislikes, you know

what makes them happy, what grieves them.

It's the same thing with the Lord.

You have to invest that time to spend with Him.

Put away that special time, put it aside so that you can have it

with him every day. Every day.

So back to the scripture. Joshua followed Moses and was

chosen to lead God's people into the promised land.

And we know from the very first scripture in Joshua, Joshua one,

it says that the Lord spoke to Joshua son and none, and he

Moses his assistant. And so Joshua heard him when

when God spoke to him. So God, Moses already had taught

Joshua how to hear from the Lord.

Joshua was a man of God, a man of faith, and so he knew

Jeremiah 2913 States and you will seek me and find me when

you search for me with all your heart, that's a promise.

So God's wanting you to know if you seek Him, you will find him.

That is, that is a promise to you.

Even King David understood how to have a relationship with the

Lord and we know that he was a man after God's own heart.

He said in Psalm 63 one through 20, God, you are my God early, I

will seek you. Notice He sought the Lord.

My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you in a dry

and thirsty land where there is no water.

So I have looked for you in the sanctuary.

He looked. He expected to meet God in the

sanctuary, to see your power and your glory.

He looked with great expectation.

So if we seek Him, we will find Him.

It is a promise. Proverbs 18 I'm sorry.

Proverbs 817 states I love those who love me and those who

diligently seek me will find me. John 1027 Jesus said my sheep

hear my voice and I know them and they follow me.

So hearing God's voice is imperative to a believer.

So the first step of possessing the land is to seek God.

And when we seek him we find Him and we learn how to hear and

recognize His voice. So the second step to possessing

the land is we say yes to him. Now this is where we really get

called to action. Abraham, Moses, Joshua and many

others said yes. And I almost cried watching Yoli

and Robin, their precious family and Tori and Michael, because

pastors Tom Lilia, they said yes, they were in California and

flourishing in a ministry there. And because of their yes, many

of us are here today. They're revellers, family.

They left California, they brought the tailors.

All of them came this way. And they've changed our church

family. Then I think about Frankie and

Ryan, Philippine, their family, they came.

They said yes, there's so many, the Paulina and George Silva,

Alexandria and Alex Hernandez and then all the leaders of our

house churches. They said yes.

And it may have looked like something that was ridiculous

for them to do in the natural, but God knows.

And so he asked of us to do these things.

Saying yes to God will always cost us something, But asking us

to put our faith in action and asking these things of us, it's

a good thing. He has good plans for us.

So He's challenging us to trust him with our yes.

So he wants us to seek him, to find him and to hear from him.

OK, the cost will look different for everybody.

Some may be called to to just go outside of your neighborhood.

You may be called to go across the state or across the nation

or across the world. You're asked maybe very tiny,

but whatever it is, He just wants us to be obedient.

I don't know how it is, but somehow I believe the enemy

finds out our path or the plan that God has for us when we're

very young so that he can interfere and try and thwart

those plans when we're little. So those lies that we believe

from a young age, and maybe you've picked up some as you've

gotten older, those lies are sometimes mountains that block

us and they stand in the way of us possessing the land that

Jesus purchased for us. But God knew the plans he had

for Moses. Even when Moses was insecure and

didn't feel like he was capable, God knew the plans.

So have hope and have faith in that, that you saw what he did

with Moses if you're familiar with the Old Testament.

If you're not, I'll give you a snap, just a little snapshot.

But Moses was used to bring all of the Egyptian, I mean all of

the Israelites out of the bondage under the Egyptians.

And for 40 years he led these people and God used him to do

signs and wonders and to do miraculous things.

And God used that man who was very insecure and very felt

incapable of being used. So that should give us all hope.

I'm going to step off the path for just a little 2nd and share

what's behind my own. Yes.

And a lot of you have heard this testimony from the platform.

So I'm not going to share it in, in this in its entirety.

I can only talk in its entirety today.

But I was always a very timid young girl and all throughout my

life I I dealt with fear and anxiety and to the point where I

was absolutely tortured and tormented for years.

I would say from the age of 18 I started dealing with panic

attacks and from 18 to 28 I fought for my sanity.

A depression tried to hold me down, and the enemy wanted me to

think I had lost my mind. Many of us Gen.

X kids had no supervision, so I was kind of Ferrell before I

married. A Ferrell went a little wild and

I opened a lot of doors to the enemy, but I didn't know I was

living a worldly life that until that world got flipped upside

down and I didn't have anyone to help me.

My parents were raised in traditional churches and they

weren't taught anything about demonic bondage or strongholds

or anything like that. So all I had was God's Word and

I delved into His word and I know I would not be free today

if if it weren't for His Word and learning the authority that

we have as believers. So if you ever want to ask me

questions about that, I'm happy to help you with that.

I know that He will set you free as well.

We know that in Hosea 46 that God's people are destroyed for

lack of knowledge. So we've got to know God's word

and the authority that we carry. I used to think that Satan was

in hell and all his demons were, but I was very wrong and they

can definitely torment Christians.

So I share all that to say, look what God has done.

If He can do that in my life, I'm standing here in perfect

peace. I am a woman of peace.

If, if I can do this with the Lord, you can do this too.

He is no respecter of persons. He will set you free.

He is faithful. I give all the glory to God.

You guys, He still touches us here today.

And what He did for me, He'll do for you.

So how do we possess the land? First, we want to be in

alignment with Him. We want to seek Him.

We want to find Him. We want to hear Him.

We want to say yes to Him, and my yes did cost me.

My decision to be a disciple of Jesus Christ cost me the right

to ever be offended. It cost me the right to hurt

others. It cost me the choice to walk in

unforgiveness. That's no longer a choice, you

guys. Honestly, it may have cost me

some friendships because others felt uncomfortable around

someone who might bring conviction to them.

So this is a funny story. So my friend Angie and I had to

find her. There's just my friend Angie and

I were at a women's church event for another church.

This was many years ago. I don't even know where we were.

We were at some centre because another group pulled up of blind

people and they were getting off the bus.

And I was so excited. I'm like we are going to lay

hands on the blind people and they are going to see.

And I was so excited with the expectation of what we were

going to do. And this woman that was in our

group said that she couldn't hang with us anymore because we

were too radical with our walk with the Lord.

So you lose friendships when you step out and you believe.

I mean, I believed that we were going to see that happen 'cause

I had already seen God's power in my own life.

I mean, he set me free, y'all. I couldn't even leave my house.

It was called agoraphobia. Where you, I mean, I panicked if

I was at home. I panicked if I left the home.

There was nothing to help me, but yeah, I believe in God's

power and and I believe that He still touches us today 'cause

I'm living proof. So if you need a touch from Him

today, believe that you're going to receive it because He is the

same yesterday, today, and forever.

Amen. All right, so the Lord desires

our yes, and I promise you it's worth it.

So ask yourself, and I'm not looking at anyone, what is God

asking of me? And it might not be a big ask.

I remember when the Lord was teaching me how to be obedient,

I'd be walking through a parking lot and he'd say, pick up that

piece of trash. And I was like, I'll go pick it

up. It wouldn't be my own trash.

It'd be someone else's trash. And I'd pick it up.

And then he would say, push that cart to the cart return.

Just simple things, just to see if I'd be obedient.

Before we had a dog, I would drop ice on the floor.

He'd say pick it up instead of letting it melt there, you know,

in the kitchen. Just little things like that.

They were easy steps of obedient.

But look what they told me to do.

They told me to obey because when Pastor Ty came, I was his

assistant for a couple of years. And it was such a blessing.

He came into my office one day at one Sunday after church and

he said, I really feel like you're supposed to go to this

conference in California at the Rock Church.

He did not know I had not flown in over 20 years because of fear

and because I was used to being obedient.

I said yes. It was a it was a big ask, but

thank God I did it and I've been flying ever since.

So. And then when he asked me to

step on the platform, I said yes, even though my microphone

shook so badly that I could barely talk in it.

And I would sit down and Kelly Farley would look at my hands

and I was just shaking like, but I said yes, it's obedience.

So don't be afraid to say yes to God, even though it's it's never

going to align with what your flesh wants to do.

I can tell you that whatever God's called you to do is, is

going to stretch you. I was thinking about the story

of Abraham. Abraham, you know, where God

called him to leave everything he knew, leave his family, leave

the land that he knew, leave his father's land.

His yes, changed generations and everyone that followed.

It changed his life. It changed his family.

Obedience is better than sacrifice is what First Samuel

1522 says. So what's waiting on your

obedience today? In the Old Testament, we saw

that disobedience blocked Moses from entering into the Promised

land. That's when Joshua took over.

Even though Moses walked with the Lord, he had an amazing

relationship with him. He was still a disobedient.

And I've heard Pastor Ty say before that 1% of disobedience

is still disobedience. We saw where King Saul, who was

the first king of Israel, how he lost his whole Kingdom because

he was disobedient. So disobedience does have

consequences in our lives. But Hallelujah, we have a God

that forgives us. We can repent and we can move on

because he removes our sin from us.

Us as far as the east is from the West, right?

That's completely gone. So ask yourself, what are you

holding on to that God's asking you to release again, I'm not

looking at anyone. What is blocking you from

complete surrender? What is holding your yes

captive? His fear of being out of

control, part of that. Is it a fear of looking weak or

fear of what others might think of you?

If yes, that's pride. And if that hits too close for

comfort, don't feel condemnation, Just repent and

move on 'cause he is faithful to forgive you.

And know this your yes. It's not just about you.

It will change the lives of those around you for generations

to come. If I had not said yes.

If I had just allowed myself to stay hidden, then I wouldn't be

able to have impacted the lives of others who have dealt with

fear and anxiety and demonic bondage honestly.

And it's not me. It's all because of God.

Our testimony, right? We can change the lives of

others. There's power in our testimony.

So third, to possess the land, we realized the seriousness of

the battle and to we need to know our enemy.

This really came close to home for us when Pastor Ty, I'm

sorry, Pastor Lilia, when Pastor Lilia gave us her lessons from

the bomb shelter, when she and Pastor JJ and a group of women

were on the ground in Israel when war break up broke out.

And I remember her talking about how they were called to the bomb

shelters all throughout the day and all throughout the night.

And after a while, whenever they got the time to shelter alarms,

they kind of dragged their feet a little bit.

Well, let me go grab my backpack or let me go get my phone or,

you know, and they had to be reminded.

Do not delay. Remember, we are in a war and

the enemy wants to kill you. So I think sometimes as

Christians, we can forget that we are in a war and the enemy

wants to kill us. If you're in this room or within

the sound of my voice and you don't know Jesus, then the devil

is definitely pulling out all stops to block you.

He hates you and he wants you to do his bidding.

And even though you may not realize it, you are the spoil

and the treasure that he wants. Your soul is what he's after.

Believers, our lives need to reflect the Kingdom of God.

Scripture says in Philippians 320 that our citizenship is in

heaven. So our lives here are just a

breath and we need to be alert and aware while we're here on

foreign soil. This is foreign soil.

This is not where we belong. Ephesians 612 says.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against

principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness

of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in heavenly

places. So we are in a war and the enemy

wants to kill us, but our battle is not against flesh and blood.

Remember that. And I, I'm going to, I'm not

trying to stir up anything, but I was just thinking about how

the political scene now if, if you like one side and you like

another side, then there's like a chasm between them.

There's no discussion anymore. There's no love and and that's,

that's our battles, not against flesh and blood.

I really believe there are spiritual principalities that is

causing all of that division and all that hatred.

It's just the enemy stirring stuff.

So remember that when you come across someone who votes

differently than you or thinks differently than you, you still

love them. They're still your family.

They're still your brother and sister in Christ, or they're

still of the humankind anyway. Even if you don't know them, God

loves them and Jesus died on the cross for them.

Remember that they're very important to God.

So there are battles not against flesh and blood.

The battle for the souls of man, though, is real and very

strategic. And the devil and his army take

it very seriously. So I'm sure they laugh at

Christians when Christians don't take it very seriously.

But we know that the Israelites were very well acquainted with

war, weren't they? Every time God gave them, all

throughout the Old Testament, anytime God gave them land, they

had to go get it. They had to fight.

There was action required. There was obedience in their

action and there was faith. And God's requiring the same

thing of us this morning for us to take over the land that the

enemy has that belongs to us. It's going to require action.

So the Israelites were aligned with God's will.

They sought the Lord, They heard his voice and they said yes.

And we're to follow that same example and remember your

disobedience or maybe your even delay can make others

vulnerable. It's not just about us.

It's about all the people in our lives that God wants to bring

in. So your yes isn't just about

you. I believe if someone had shouted

that first round as they walked around Jericho, it would have

ruined the mission. But God gave them specific

instructions for a reason. And look, we're in a day and

time that we need to hear those specific instructions.

Pastor Tim reminded us a few weeks ago that we're anointed,

and he had everyone in the room say, I'm anointed because we are

anointed to do what God has called us to do.

Each one of us have our own individual callings.

I was thinking about Skylar back here.

Skylar, there's anointing and a calling on your life that I

don't have because my gifting is different than your gifting.

And you're going to reach people that I can't reach, right Bobby?

There are people in your life and you're calling in your

giftings that only you can do and only you can reach because

you're uniquely gifted. Same thing for you, Rose.

Everybody is absolutely gifted differently.

We are anointed and called. Don't forget that God has a plan

for your life. The 4th step towards possessing

the land is advancing. And we heard Pastor Jessica

Harkins give that word to us when she visited.

So how do we advance? We saw how the Israelites

advanced. They were willing to be obedient

and do what God asked to them, and they put their faith into

action. So advancement requires our

faith. Matthew 1720 So Jesus said to

them, assuredly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard

seed, a mustard seed is one of the tiniest seeds.

If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this

mountain, move from here to there and it will move and

nothing will be impossible for you.

We need that faith to move the enemies off of our land.

Remember, our enemies are not flesh and blood.

Pastor Ty even recently referred to our enemies as squatters.

So we need to get rid of the squatters.

Mark 11/23 For surely I say to you, whoever says to this

mountain, this is again talking about the mountain, be removed,

be cast into the sea, does not doubt in his heart, but believes

that these things he says will be done.

He will have whatever He says. So we're to speak to the

mountains, to the squatters, whatever's blocking you from

possessing your peace, your joy, your mental and physical health,

your spiritual freedom, the list could go on and on.

We need to speak to those mountains and squatters.

The mountains of fear or rage or bitterness or pride or

unforgiveness, addiction, lust, perversion.

Whatever's possessing your land, only you knows.

You know what it is. Push those mountains into the

sea in the name of Jesus. We also advance with worship and

prayer and gratitude. Those are powerful weapons in

our arsenal. We must know the Word of God.

It's imperative. I would have never walked in

freedom like I said earlier, if I had not delved into the Word

of God and learned who I was in Christ and what my authority is

as a Christian and what Jesus had purchased from me.

Matthew 44 says, but he answered and said it is written, Man

shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes

from the mouth of God. So God is wooing you and calling

you to be in His word. We need His word daily.

We need to eat of His word. If all we hear is on Sunday

mornings, which is wonderful as it is, we will be malnourished

and our intended growth will be stunted because Pastor Ty cannot

feed us every day and he cannot possess the land for us as much

as he would do it for us if he could, because he loves his

church. But that's something each one of

us are called to do. We have to possess our own land.

We have to take it back ourselves.

So let me bring all this together for us.

God is aligning us to do His will.

He's calling us to possess the land.

In doing so, we first need to align with Him.

We need to seek Him. Those who seek Him will find

Him. Those who want to hear His voice

and follow His leading will indeed do so.

Next, we need to hear or feel His directives.

When we say yes, we need to say yes.

Even if it feels costly at times.

It's very important. Don't you think that the God

that created you, who knows your heart, knows what's best He

does. In a war, it's imperative that

we understand the seriousness of the battle and know our enemy.

We cannot walk through this life unaware of spiritual forces that

try to throw a wrench in the plans that God has for us.

First, John 44 declares you are of God little children, and have

overcome them because he who is in you is greater than he this

in the world. So you don't need to fear your

enemy. God in you is greater.

He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions,

overcome all the power of the enemy.

He said nothing by any means shall harm you.

And the disciples were rejoicing because the demons submitted to

them. And he was like, Oh yes, they I

submit to you, but rejoice that your name is written in the book

of heaven, the Lamb's book of life.

So we have authority over these, these squatters.

We have authority over these mountains.

We speak to them and we command them to go in the name of Jesus.

So finally to possess the land, we advance.

And that's where we have action to move forward.

So Pastor Tim, could you come up please?

It requires us to apply our faith, but we can do it, you

guys. We can do all things through

Christ, who gives us strength. You can do this.

All right. Would everyone please close

their eyes and let's just allow God to speak to our hearts right

now. Thank you.

Lord. Maybe you're listening and

you've been angry at God. Maybe you've been blaming Him

for things that have happened in your life.

Please know that we live in a fallen world and Satan is the

one that comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

God loves you, but the enemy comes to destroy lives and

families and friendships. He's the one that destroys

unity. But God is greater and he has a

way of taking the mess in our lives and turning it into a

wonderful testimony of his faithfulness.

God knows your pain. I just really felt like earlier,

just there's, there are a lot of people here who are hurting from

one reason or another, maybe things that the person sitting

next to you are not even aware of.

But God hears the cries of your heart and he has a healing balm

here for you. He's just asking you to trust

him, just to ask him to reveal himself to you and he will, I

promise. Some of you I felt were are

weary from the same old battles. It seems like the same battle

over and over again. It doesn't have to continue that

way. Please allow us to just stand in

the gap and agree with you in prayer for this cycle to be

broken. I feel like there are others

that have eyes of jealousy in comparison.

They say to themselves this isn't fair.

Well you never know what price others have paid and what's

going on behind closed doors. So just be grateful for every

blessing in your life and allow God to wash away all that.

That rejection and comparison is stolen from you.

Trust me, each one of us in this room have needed healing at some

point and many of us are walking through, some have gone across

the other side. But God is faithful and He is

just and what He's done for one, He'll do for another.

I just really feel His great love for you and compassion for

you. So I pray you would feel His

love today and I pray that you would feel just stirred to seek

him to to seek him and to find him to devour his word, to build

yourself up from the inside out by being full of his word, to

recognize his voice because you know his word.

I pray that you are blessed today in Jesus most precious

name, Amen. Thank you, Lord.
