OK. Because today I want to speak to
-
you a word that I believe has got the power to shift your
-
whole life, a very powerful word from God.
-
And we are talking about the glory.
-
I mean, somebody, the glory zone.
-
OK, somebody say glory zone. I'll put it up there for us and
-
go with me to Exodus chapter 33 together them.
Exodus 33 chapter mention
-
So we're going to enter how many of you ready for the glory zone.
-
Oh yes. Oh, a glory zone.
-
This is a glory zone. OK, so Exodus chapter 33 and
Exodus 33 chapter mention
-
we'll also put the scriptures up on the screen for you.
-
And so let me just first give it to you in context so you know
-
what's going on in Exodus chapter 33.
Exodus 33 chapter mention
-
Just to give you some background, Moses is up in the
-
mountain now. He's already with this an
-
experience. I read seaported.
-
He's already with this an experience manner from heaven,
-
water from the rock and now he's not asking for manner.
-
He's not asking for water from the rock.
-
He's hungry for something deeper and he's asking Lord, show me
-
your glory. God responds and God answers it
-
Moses, my goodness will pass be for you.
-
My God, I feel like preaching this right there.
-
That's powerful. That's a sermon.
-
Thank God. I'm ready to preach this
-
Hallelujah Christ God listen Morris says he asked God I just
-
I love how he asked God for glory.
-
I love the way our God responded with goodness.
-
OK, so you know what that tells me that tells me that God's
-
glory is wrapped in his goodness.
-
My God, I'm excited about this word Hallelujah.
-
Are you ready to run? Are you ready to go deep in this
-
word today? Somebody.
-
OK, let's go for this now let's go.
-
Exodus chapter 33. And we are going to pick it up
Exodus 33 chapter mention
-
from verse 18. And it says that then Moses
-
said, now show me your glory. And the Lord said, I will cause,
-
Oh my goodness to pass in front of you.
-
Let's just pray to godfather we come with open hearts, wide
-
open, ready to receive you this morning.
-
Father, we pray. Let your presence full of this
-
place. Let your goodness flood every
-
heart. Oh Lord, speak to us, speak to
-
every heart. Lord, let your word come alive
-
in US. Oh Lord, we pray, Show us your
-
glory. In the mighty name of Jesus we
-
pray, right? And somebody say Amen, right?
-
So when we talk about the glory of God, OK, we are not just
-
talking about clouds, Thunder and lightning.
-
We are talking about the fullness of who God is.
-
And the Bible says God is good. I meant God is good.
-
That is, is who he is. So goodness isn't something that
-
he has to try to do. That is who he is.
-
Can you say I meant somebody? So his plans, and this is
-
amazing. His plans for you and for me,
-
for us, for you is good plans. His plans for you are good.
-
His ways are good. His heart is good.
-
He's good. So he's not trying to be good.
-
That is who he is. He is good.
-
Somebody say God is good. Put your guys together.
-
Somebody showed. Hallelujah, give God some praise
-
in this space because God is good.
-
It's how your neighbor God is good.
-
We got to have some church in here today.
-
I'll tell you, I'm already feeling the right to you.
-
This place, my God. Hallelujah.
-
How are we going to get through this one?
-
Praise God. Psalm 136 verse one, one of my
-
favorite scriptures. Oh, give thanks to the Lord for
-
he is good for his mercy and tears forever.
-
OK, that's not sometimes that means forever means all the so
-
God, it's not just good. Sometimes God is good all the
-
time, OK, and all the time he's got it.
-
That's we're not just pointing a cliche, right?
-
OK, we are declaring who God is. OK, and God is good all the
-
time. Come on, somebody said God is
-
good all the time and all the time.
-
We're having some church here today.
-
So this is not just a religious little saying, OK, this is real,
-
this is powerful. This is the word of God.
-
It is not something that you can, this is something, listen,
-
you can experience and live and walk in every single day, OK?
-
You don't have to just wait for Sunday morning, OK?
-
It's in your Monday morning. It's in your Tuesday morning,
-
it's in your lunch breaks, OK? It's God is good all the time.
-
Come on, say that with me. God is good all the time.
-
Tell your neighbor he's good all the time.
-
The same yesterday, OK. He's always the same, always the
-
same. Good, good, good, good, good
-
guys, not just sometimes in a good mood, OK, God is good all
-
the time. Yesterday, today and forever
-
He's the same, OK. And so he's good.
-
Now what I love about the gospel, that's effective
-
evangelism when we reach people around the world is because the
-
gospel is not just news, OK? It's good news because our guard
-
behind it is good, a good gods. And so he's good all the time.
-
He's good on the mountain top and he's good in the valley, OK.
-
He's good when the doors open and it's good when the doors
-
shut. When he stays shut, he is still
-
all the time. And so that is talking about the
-
glory zone, living in the presence, the fullness of God.
-
Somebody say I'm stepping into the glory zone.
-
Yeah, the glory zone, somebody. So when Moses stood on that
-
mountain, he was longing for more.
-
He was once in more. He had a desperation, a cry for
-
presence. And he says, Lord, Lord, show me
-
your glory. I want to know you more.
-
I want to know your heart. I want your presence.
-
I want to go deep. I don't just want to know what
-
you can give, give, or do for me.
-
I want you, I want to know, I want to go deeper.
-
Lord, I want to live, I want to walk in your glory.
-
I want to experience this glory realm, this zone every day of my
-
life. Show me your glory, God.
-
And so here comes God, and he answers, and he revealed his
-
goodness. And so the glory is revealed
-
through the goodness of God. His glory is revealed through
-
his goodness. So they go hand in hand
-
together, You they connected. God's glory and His goodness is
-
connected. You cannot separate them from
-
one another, OK? When God shows up, His goodness
-
shows up. Amen.
-
And so God's revelation to Moses on the mountain is our, each and
-
every one of us revelation as well.
-
And this is the revelation. His goodness, my God, I mean, my
-
God. Yes, Moses, he's seen the
-
miracles, he's seen the red seas, he's seen the war, he's
-
seen powerful that and he's like the goodness of God on the
-
mountain. What a revelation.
-
Now maybe life has been lightly difficult and rough and hard.
-
Maybe there's been some financial struggles, balls
-
stacking up and piling up financial or yield like health
-
battles been going on and it's just been it feels like praise
-
have been unanswered. And you might have been
-
wondered, but is God really good?
-
Is he really, I mean, our crazy chaotic world, difficulties,
-
challenges, is he really a good card?
-
And maybe you might have wondered that, but God sent me
-
here this morning to come and tell you and to remind you, yes,
-
He is still a good, good God. He is still good.
-
Somebody put your hands together and celebrate the goodness of
-
God this morning because I believe somebody is about to
-
experience the goodness of God. God, OK, Because when God shows
-
up, he never shows up into handed.
-
He brings his glory. His glory is his goodness.
-
My God, I feel the presence of the Lord in this place.
-
I feel like precious. This is the glory zone and the
-
glory zone is available. It is within reach.
-
You just have to open your heart and say, oh Lord, show me your
-
glory. Oh Lord, let me see.
-
Oh, let me see your goodness. Let that be the cry of your, let
-
that be the longing this morning, crying from your heart.
-
Oh yes, I want to see your God. Oh let me see your goodness God.
-
Hallelujah, something is about to happen in this place.
-
Oh, Oh my God, get ready, just get ready because his goodness
-
is about to overtake your life like never before.
-
Hallelujah, somebody shot. Hallelujah.
-
Crap your hands and give God some place in this house.
-
Jesus is good God, come on, cry out.
-
Show me your glory. Come on like you mean it.
-
Come on, come on, show me your glory.
-
Who's meaning business here with God today.
-
So yes, if you mean business with God, he'll mean business
-
with you when you cry out, when you draw near to God, he'll draw
-
near to you. He's just waiting for you to
-
cry. He's just waiting for your call.
-
Make that call. Pick up the phone and phone
-
heaven. Right now you've got a Direct
-
Line. Is an open heaven.
-
There's an open heaven. Yeah.
-
I thank God for open heavens. You've got a direct call to
-
heaven right now. Call on heaven.
-
He'll answer. He'll answer.
-
He'll pick up the phone. He won't let it go into
-
voicemail. God's not too busy.
-
He's not too bad. He'll answer the call.
-
When you cry alone. Show me your goodness.
-
Oh, my God. When you step into the glory
-
zone, you step into the goodness of God.
-
Now here's the key, Chaz, you have got to tune in.
-
You have got to open your eyes. You've got to shift your focus
-
and TuneIn to what God is doing. Because here's the thing, a lot
-
of people miss it because they're not looking for it.
-
We get so busy in life that we focus on what is going wrong,
-
what's going wrong there, what's going wrong.
-
Yeah. And so we get so busy and caught
-
up that we forget to notice what is going right.
-
We get so busy and so caught up with what is wrong, with the
-
Mace, with the brokenness, that we miss the beauty.
-
Then we miss out what is beautiful.
-
And so focusing just on the negative, the negative news and
-
the negative. And then finally something good
-
happens. And then when something good
-
happens, then they say, well, that was just like a lucky break
-
or coincidence or random. The Bible says every good thing
-
from heaven, every good thing in our lives is from above, from
-
God come about somebody. It's not that, it's God.
-
Let me prove that to you In the book of Change, chapter one,
-
verse 17, it says every good and perfect gift is from above is
-
coming down from the Father of the heavenly rising.
-
Every good gift is from God. So when the door opens, when the
-
peace shows up in the middle of the storm, when the needs met,
-
that's not luck, that's not random.
-
That is the goodness of God. Hallelujah.
-
That's the glory zone showing up in your life.
-
Somebody, come on. Hallelujah.
-
I mean, you find a car parking space when you're running late.
-
God's goodness. Yeah.
-
Someone phoned just at the right time when you needed
-
encouragement. God's goodness.
-
The text came through just the right time.
-
The goodness of God, Somebody. That cancer is gone.
-
That's the goodness of God. OK, That healing your body woke
-
up this morning with breath in your lungs.
-
That's the goodness of God with the roof over our heads.
-
Say I made somebody. So just don't miss it.
-
Start noticing the goodness of God.
-
Don't be like those who had Jesus in their midst, sitting in
-
their midst, Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus the Son of God, and they
-
missed. They never noticed, they never
-
recognized Jesus. They had Jesus right there.
-
They didn't recognise Him. Lift up your eyes, open your
-
heart, because God's goodness is not finished.
-
He didn't stop with Moses. And the same glory is flowing in
-
and through your life right now. It's your home, it's your
-
finances, into your family, into your career, your future, your
-
health. Come out, somebody shot.
-
Hallelujah. Give God some glory in the
-
splice dress. OK, now let's dive a little
-
deeper here. Are you OK to go deeper?
-
Is it too deep or is it too fast?
-
Are you with me? OK, let's go a little bit deeper
-
because they would say something powerful taste and see Oh my
-
God, somebody is already getting this.
-
You already got to taste and see that.
-
But let me just read that for those of you who've missed
-
listen it says here taste sound pretty boy taste and see that
-
the Lord OK, it doesn't say just read and think about it.
-
It says Tyson see means experience it.
-
It's like listen, don't stand on the side of the water.
-
I know so just suck in and just go for it.
-
Dive in OK Monica just dive just experience it for yourself.
-
That's the invitation of God is saying, listen, just taste and
-
see that he is good, OK, Because gosh, get this is not just found
-
in the huge moments and we thank God for the huge moments and the
-
spectacular and the big yes, that's great.
-
But his goodness is also in the small things, the little things,
-
the everyday ordinary things. OK, that phone call that just
-
came at the right time when your heart was breaking this, the
-
small things, OK, those things that sometimes that you don't
-
even think, but God is in it because God knows that God who
-
knows the number of your hair that's on your head, reaches
-
into your day with his goodness. Amen.
-
And so listen, what we need to do church is this is very
-
important. We have to develop a
-
sensitivity. It's AI call it a glory radar
-
that we become that we develop a sensitivity for the things of
-
God, what God is doing, what God is we God's working and how is
-
working inside radar. So you need to tune in and start
-
recognizing the things that God, that God is working all around.
-
OK. And so that is highly important
-
in the time that we are living in that you create a greater
-
awareness for the presence of God because God is always doing
-
more than you know. So listen, you know, people
-
questioning the goodness of God. The the problem isn't that God
-
isn't good. The problem is that we are not
-
always noticing it being so busy and caught up with the things of
-
the world. It's easy then when things got
-
difficult to start questioning the goodness of, but we have got
-
to slow down. It's like that we've not always
-
noticing is that we haven't slowed down long enough to see
-
it, to see God at work, to see the goodness of God.
-
So this is what we need to do in order to create a greater
-
awareness, a sense of recognizing is trying your
-
heart. Start asking yourself, where did
-
I see God today? Was it in the friend that showed
-
up OK? Was it in the mercy, the mercy,
-
in the mess? Was it in the peace, in the
-
pressure? OK, because that is the glory
-
Zone church living in the goodness of God.
-
He says taste and see. So he's inviting us.
-
Taste and see. Listen, let me tell you this
-
God, let me tell you something about he's better than you
-
think. My God, grab that, grab that,
-
grab that. Oh yes, He's better than you
-
think. Yes, God is good.
-
He's better than you think. And so he's closer than you
-
feel. He's working more than you
-
realize. So you're not waiting for
-
goodness to show you already in it.
-
It's just a matter of recognizing it and tuning in.
-
Because listen, when you look that over your life, you will
-
know it wasn't Randa. You'll know if the goodness of
-
God who's been guiding you all the way, yes, OK, It was the
-
goodness of God. He made a way where there was no
-
way. He brought the right people into
-
your life, the right places, the right time, the right
-
opportunities. That wasn't coincidence, those
-
connection. That was the goodness of God.
-
Somebody, I mean, and so God's goodness showing up again and
-
again and again in your life. And so when you make mistakes,
-
He covered you, OK, right. So you're not here today because
-
you've done everything right. You are here today is because
-
God is faithful, because God is merciful, because God is a kind
-
God. He's a loving God.
-
He's a forgiving God. He's a good God.
-
Come on, somebody, glory to God. God is good.
-
And yes, he's been good to you. He's been good to you.
-
He's been good to us. Come and say with me, God is
-
good and it's been good to me. Yes.
-
Every day wake up and say that God, you'll be good to me.
-
Yeah. Yes, your God is good.
-
Yeah. We're not living in luck.
-
I'm not living. I'm living in a glory zone.
-
Come on. It was God who gave you favour
-
with the person who gave you the job when you had no experience.
-
It was God. Yeah, connected you to that
-
opportunity. And that person had shifted
-
everything. It was God, not chance, not
-
luck, not you pulling all the right strings.
-
It was God. Come on somebody, can we take a
-
moment and just give God some praise?
-
Give him praise for how far he has brought us.
-
Cough He has brought us, just don't forget how far he brought
-
you. Don't forget who brought you.
-
Yet don't get so comfortable in the blessing that you forget who
-
blessed you. OK give him the glory.
-
Lesbian people who never, ever stop giving God the glory,
-
giving him the praise, giving him the let's be a never stop
-
giving God the glory. And I remember 20 years ago in
-
South Africa, I walked into a church and I thought it's just a
-
normal church service, just an ordinary church service.
-
And something happened that day and I'll never forget it.
-
I walk into that church and I met Michelle, my wife, my
-
miracle, the most incredible woman.
-
Amazing. Well, I love her so much.
-
My God, she's amazing. She's a mother.
-
Oh my God, how some folks watch say, well, that's just by
-
chance. Peace.
-
OK, look on. It's the goodness of God showed
-
up in my life to bring that gorgeous, amazing bit of a
-
wonderful life. I mean, there's all to Rihanna
-
doesn't even know. Ah, she's glorious.
-
I love her. OK, before I get carried away,
-
but I remember his car. He, they, our children, our
-
three boys, each one with a testimony, then the ministry,
-
the church. OK, it's not luck, it's not
-
random. It's not it's God, Daddy, God
-
showed up. It's him that made it happen.
-
And every day I thank you. I said thank you, Lord, I know
-
that was you. That was your goodness, the
-
goodness of God. Now let me tell you this.
-
If you only knew everything that God has been arranging behind
-
the scenes to get you where you are today.
-
If you only knew everything they see the way He lined up,
-
conversations, people, opportunities, connections, it
-
would overwhelm you with gratitude.
-
If you see what God is doing behind the scenes to get you
-
where you are today, you would be grateful.
-
We would be overwhelmed with thankfulness, with gratitude.
-
Jesus said you did not choose me, I chose you.
-
OK, That means you didn't just stumble in this life.
-
God picked you, Jesus chose you, Jesus positioned you, He prepaid
-
you, and he's not finished with you yet.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah. Now, I grew up in South Africa
-
in a small town, nothing fancy, no silver spoon.
-
But the Bible says do not despise the days of small
-
beginnings. So if your life doesn't look
-
like what is the dream in your heart, don't get discouraged,
-
OK? God is working in the small.
-
Keep on being faithful where you are, even when it looks small.
-
Don't wait for the big break to give your best.
-
Give your best right now, right where you are, when nobody's
-
watching, when nothing seems to be happening, give your best.
-
Keep sowing, keep showing up, keep trusting God because God
-
sees and God knows and your season will come where you will
-
reap a harvest, your due season. And I so remember the early days
-
when we launched the church in Carnwood Community Centre.
-
It was just me, Michelle, my wife and my first born.
-
OK, not a big team, not flashing lights, no fancy, just the word
-
from God and a whole lot of faith.
-
Didn't have the crowds, OK, didn't have their comfort, but
-
we had a call. And every time when I look back
-
and I remember and I see how far God has brought us, I cannot
-
help but to thank him. I cannot help but to give him
-
the price. I cannot help but to give him
-
the glory and say thank you God for working of God.
-
Look where you have brought us from.
-
I remember what the critic says. The critics, they said you won't
-
make it, you won't last, you will burn out.
-
And so then COVID hits and then the pressure came.
-
Businesses closed. But we did not fail.
-
We flourished. We didn't go under.
-
We went over. Somebody said Hallelujah.
-
And that was not good marketing or good skills.
-
That was a good news of God, Hallelujah.
-
Praise God, somebody. I'll never forget one day out of
-
nowhere we got a phone call from this person just do that only
-
visited our church a couple of times when it was time.
-
Not even a a sort of like a regular attendant member and
-
they just said, listen, we felt late to bless you with a car.
-
We and they sold an amazing car into our lives and that wasn't
-
luck coincidence. That was God showing up to
-
remind her I am good. I'm a good God.
-
Come on, somebody shout out Hallelujah.
-
Thank you Lord, for your goodness.
-
Yeah, Hallelujah. I give God all the praise.
-
God has been good to us. Let that be everyday.
-
Wake up. God has been good to us.
-
OK, now watch this in Romans 828.
-
And we know that in all things God works for the good, those
-
who love it. OK, It doesn't say God works
-
through some things. It says all things.
-
That means the highs and the lows.
-
OK, it means all things. That means every detour, every
-
disappointment, every delay, God works.
-
God knows how to bring things together for your good.
-
He knows how to bring it together.
-
Even the mistakes that you make, even in the the mess situations,
-
the times when you have messed up.
-
God knows how to take every mess, every different, every
-
challenge and bring it together and work it for your good.
-
Hi God, what a God do we serve somebody?
-
We take our messes and turn it around for good.
-
Oh somebody Hallelujah. God can use it all.
-
He knows how to take broken pieces and build something
-
beautiful. What amazing card.
-
Hallelujah. Now let's be real.
-
It's very easy to shout God is good when life is good.
-
It's very easy to proclaim and declare, yeah, God is good when
-
circumstances are good, OK, When everything is going your way and
-
the family's happy and everybody's good, then it's easy
-
to say God is good. OK, when the prayers are on set,
-
the doors are open, it's easy to say God is good.
-
But what if When it's difficult? What when life doesn't make
-
sense, when you don't understand, when life doesn't
-
feel fair? That's real faith that says God
-
is still good. Even in the pain, even in the
-
struggles of life, even in the suffering and the challenges,
-
God is still good. And you might be in a season
-
right now where you don't know how things are going to work
-
out. But yeah, me.
-
Just because you don't see a way out, that doesn't mean God's not
-
working. God is working behind the
-
scenes. God is realigning things.
-
God is redeeming things. He's positioning things.
-
He's rearranging things. God never wastes a tear.
-
He never wastes a trial, He never wastes a battle.
-
So instead of questioning his goodness and say, why is this
-
not happening to me? Why do I go through this stuff
-
on this challenge? Start saying, Lord, I trust you
-
that you are working through this, this situation, this
-
difficulty, this challenge. And you know, God, I trust you
-
that it's all good, that it's all good.
-
I trust you that God's got this. I trust you, God, that you are
-
big. You are Lord, you can, you've
-
got this and it's all good. Come on, just the Bible says all
-
things are working together for our good.
-
All things being off, come on, decay that come on, somebody say
-
all things are working together for my good.
-
So again, all things are working together for my good.
-
It's all good. Somebody shout Hallelujah.
-
Put your eyes together. Yes, God's got this.
-
That's the glory zone. Now, let me tell you a true
-
story of the trailer that we've watched that proves this name
-
was Delia Knox and the gospel singer and the wife of the
-
pastor. In 1987, she was in a terrible
-
car accident, left paralysed from the wise dogs.
-
And so the doctors told that it was permanent, that she would
-
never walk again. And so for 22 years, Delia left
-
in a wheelchair. And so no hope from the medical
-
world. And so the thing that set Delia
-
apart is she never stopped worshipping.
-
She never stopped declaring that God is still good.
-
Even in the difficulty, she never stopped.
-
She kept on declaring God is still good.
-
And that is what it means to live in the glory zone.
-
Not because life is perfect, not because everything is good, but
-
because God is still worthy. That is your God.
-
And she said that even if I will never walk again, I will still
-
praise God. I will still praise God even if
-
I never, ever walk again. Now, that's somebody who knows
-
that goodness is not based on circumstances.
-
Goodness is not based on circulations.
-
Goodness is not based on what you can see.
-
Goodness is based on who God is. Hallelujah.
-
And so then after 22 years, something shifted. 2010, Delia
-
went to a revival service. At the conference, you received
-
prayer. The power of God full the room.
-
And for the first time in two decades, what she has never felt
-
for two good decades, for the first time, she's feeling her
-
legs. My God.
-
And she what? She did something that the
-
doctors say. Oh, my God, can you still hear
-
me? Praise God.
-
OK, well, I'll just swap around you.
-
This one is the back is still OK.
-
And so, yes, she is. OK.
-
I'll just go on to this one. Oh, I'm back on there.
-
And so she did something what the doctor said was impossible
-
to do. She stood up, the crowd
-
surrounded and she then just, she started walking.
-
She was healed and that miracle has been confirmed by doctors.
-
Somebody shot Hallelujah. Ah, glory to God.
-
Millions around the world has watched that video.
-
It's the display of the goodness of God.
-
The video went viral. It has been documented as a
-
miracle. Hallelujah.
-
Let me put that update for you. For you could see gospel singer
-
walks again. 22 years with God still heals today.
-
Come on somebody, put your eyes together for Jesus, my God,
-
Hallelujah. And so her story is a miracle
-
testimony that the glory zone is real, that the goodness of God
-
still heals. God still heals today,
-
Hallelujah. We serve a miracle looking God.
-
He's a healing God. He's all we see.
-
There we go, signs and miners that still heals today, somebody
-
praise God. Now here's the key.
-
She trusted that God is still good in and through the pain,
-
even in the world. She stayed thankful.
-
Even though life did not make sense, even though she was in
-
the wheelchair, stuck there, she still stayed thankful and
-
grateful, turning up, worshipping God.
-
And here's what I need you to grab hold of the dice.
-
If God did it for Delia, he can do it for you.
-
His goodness could raise her up. He glory can raise you too.
-
If you could do it for her, you could do it for you and for me
-
today. There is no situation that's too
-
broken. There is no situation.
-
There's no nothing too far gone in your life.
-
There's no there's no diagnosis that's too far gone.
-
There's no delay that's too long.
-
When card shows up, everything changes.
-
Nothing is too difficult for our God.
-
When God turns up and shows up worth his glory, his goodness,
-
everything changes. Come out somebody give words on
-
praise in his house. Hallelujah.
-
Let me remind you of something Psalm 23, our famous David Psalm
-
23. Watch this and this is amazing.
-
I want you to get this verse 6. Surely, goodness and mercy.
-
Come on, somebody. So follow me all the days of my
-
OK, He didn't say. Maybe he didn't say sometimes or
-
just an easy day. He said surely, surely means
-
absolutely. OK.
-
Yeah, with no questions, no hesitation.
-
Absolutely guaranteed, Guaranteed somebody.
-
That's what he says. That's what it means.
-
And then that word follow. When you look in the original
-
Hebrew word language, that word is not a cancelled word, OK?
-
It's not a passive word. That word follow means pursue,
-
chase with intensity. Run after chase doesn't.
-
That's what God's goodness is doing in your life.
-
God's goodness is chasing after you.
-
You're chasing after you. How about somebody?
-
Imagine driving down the road of life and you've hit potholes,
-
made some wrong turns, faced detours, delays and you look in
-
the rearview mirror. What do you see?
-
Not your past, not your pain. What do you see?
-
Goodness and mercy follows you. All the Oh my God, goodness and
-
messy I've been riding on. They've been riding on an art
-
for every season of your life. Oh my God, Jesus, I've been
-
followed not by stalker, Oh my God, stalker.
-
I've been stalked by not by fear.
-
It's not a fear. Nightmare, that's what.
-
Listen, it's following me. I don't wake up like, what are
-
you? I know it's a this and mercy of
-
God that's following me. She like, my Lord, praise God.
-
You know, they didn't. They riding along.
-
They'd be there. So when people gave up, people
-
left. They stayed.
-
Yeah. When you stumbled, they covered
-
you. Yeah.
-
When you almost quit, they whisper, this is keep on going,
-
Keep on going. So you may be facing some hard
-
things, difficult challenges. I'm here to tell you that you
-
are not alone. Goodness and mercy, they follow.
-
They right there with you. They are right.
-
They are following you. Hallelujah.
-
Somebody goodness and mercy is following me.
-
Say that Goodness and mercy is following me.
-
Yeah. Everywhere I go, they go
-
everywhere, either if it's through the storm or through the
-
fire or through the valley, the mountain, they they never leave
-
my side walking in the glory zone.
-
OK, now let me tell you, when we got the news of the church venue
-
closing because the cinema was closing, we could have panicked.
-
We could have been like, oh God, why now?
-
Why we were, what are we going to do now about?
-
But now we decided to make a faith decision and say God's got
-
this, God's got this, and it's all good.
-
We might have. And let me tell you, God did it.
-
God opened a brand new space for us.
-
Somebody shout out Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
I'm super excited. Next Sunday, don't miss it.
-
It's going to be glorious. Hallelujah.
-
And our new venue, God has made a way.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
And So what felt like a set back was really a set up for our next
-
level. Aha.
-
Jeez. That's the glory zone.
-
That's how the glory zone works. OK.
-
What the enemy meant for harm, God turns it around for our
-
good. Yes.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
Yeah. I declare you today everything
-
that was saying to stop you. God is about to use it to launch
-
you. Hallelujah.
-
Amen. Yeah, God's about to use it to
-
launch you. Hallelujah, it's all good.
-
Somebody, it's all good. It's all good.
-
It's all good. Say that it's all good.
-
It's all good. Yeah, God's got this.
-
Now let's go to Deuteronomy chap tights, because God told Israel.
-
He said, listen, I'm going to take you into a land that is
-
flowing with Morgan honey, overflowing streams, vineyards,
-
blessing upon blessing. But then he gave them this
-
warning. He says when you are full, when
-
you are satisfied, when life is good, when you're sovereign
-
goals increases and multiplies. Don't forget me.
-
OK, let me just show that to you because that's lectureonomy 8
-
verse 11. Be careful that you do not
-
forget the word, you're gone. So in other words, when you have
-
your breakthrough, when you're holding the baby that you've
-
been prayed for, OK, When you are, when the door has been
-
opened, OK. When your marriage is thriving,
-
when the business is booming, when life is good, when your
-
name get called and the favour hits you and life is good, don't
-
forget the law, OK? Do not forget who brought you
-
here. Do not forget because yes, the
-
medicine helped, but God is the healer.
-
Yes, you worked hard, but God gave you the job.
-
Come on, somebody. OK.
-
So every time I look around this church, every time I think back
-
how I make my wife Michelle, every time I see our children,
-
our boys growing up, I remember the Lord.
-
It is the Lord I remember. Lord, it was your goodness.
-
I remember. I know who brought me here.
-
I know who raised me up and my family.
-
I know he's got. And so here's my challenge to
-
you, church. Don't forget what God has done.
-
Don't forget what God has done in your life.
-
Because the same God who brought you through the valley is the
-
same God who's about to take you to the mountaintop.
-
Come on somebody praise God, Hallelujah.
-
And that's why we never stop saying thank you, Lord, thank
-
you God. Now let's go back to one of my
-
favorite verses. I want to show you something
-
else there in closing. It says here verse one, OK,
-
thanks to the Lord for his good, for his mercy.
-
Endure us forever. Now, there's something powerful
-
that happens when you live with a grateful heart, when we live
-
with Thanksgiving in our hearts because gratitude keeps us
-
aware. You see, remember the glory
-
radar, gratitude, that's the key that keeps us away, that we are
-
living in the goodness of God, that we are living in the glory
-
zone. Gratitude.
-
That is how you tell God. God, I have not forgotten what
-
you have done. I have not forgotten where you
-
have brought me from, Hallelujah.
-
And so I never want to lose that wonder of thankfulness, of
-
gratefulness that away awareness.
-
My prayer to each and everyone of us pray that God creates an
-
awareness increase our awareness of the things of God more than
-
the mainstream news, more than what others say.
-
Let's hear what God is saying. Let's tune into heaven's agenda
-
more than the circumstances. OK.
-
And such as as we wrap up today's message, let me leave
-
you with this simple but life changing word.
-
Recognize God's goodness in your life.
-
Make thankfulness a lifestyle, thanking God a lifestyle, not
-
just when things are going good every day because yetis the more
-
you thank him, the more you give thanks to God, the more you will
-
recognize the goodness of God. There is the whole sermon in a
-
nutshell. The more you thank God, the more
-
you'll recognize His goodness, the more you'll recognize what
-
He has done what how good He has been to you and still is.
-
When you thank Him, it creates that awareness of the goodness
-
God. And so every day, thank him for
-
breath in your lungs, thank Him for a roof over your head, thank
-
Him for food on the table. Thank Him for the job that
-
you've got. Thank Him in everything.
-
Give thanks because every little blessing is a reminder that God
-
is good. Living in the glory zone.
-
Amen. Come on, let's all statue your
-
face. Hallelujah, stay to your feet in
-
the presence of Almighty God. You are made for the glory zone
-
life filled with his praises and right now in this moment, the
-
presence of God, the goodness of God.
-
If you have been running on empty, if you've been feeling
-
that just felt heavy and dried, I've got good news.
-
There is more joy and more peace and more presence.
-
There is more. That's a good news today.
-
I mean there is more. But listen, OK, it is found in
-
the glory side, but you have got to step in.
-
You've got to say like Moses, show me your glory.
-
You've got to cry out with a heart and say yes, Lord, show me
-
your goodness. Show me your glory and receive
-
that. Lord, I want more of you, I want
-
to know you more. I want to know your heart, I
-
want your presence. And so right now, that's you.
-
Raise your hands to heaven. If you need a fresh touch and
-
you say yes, I want to live in the glory every single day,
-
raise your hands. This is your moment.
-
I want to pray for you. Father, we come before you today
-
with hungry hearts crying. Show us your glory.
-
Lord, release your presence, your glorious anointing.
-
We declare this is a glory zone. This is a zone of miracles.
-
This is a zone of favour. This is a zone of breakthrough
-
and peace. Lord, every person who's been
-
walking through dry places, we release glory over their
-
families. We release glory over marriages,
-
over homes, glory over finances, over health situations, over
-
minds, over bodies. Release glory over this church.
-
God, we step in with pulvers like Moses and we say we want
-
your presence, we want your praises ball than anything else.
-
Hallelujah. How many of you are crying out
-
with me? Oh yes, come on.
-
I speak over every person on the side of my voice.
-
You are surrounded by the goodness of God.
-
You are surrounded as stepping in to the glorious home in Jesus
-
my name. Come on, if you believe it, open
-
your mouth. Give God the loudest grateful
-
praise right now, because God's goodness is here.
-
God's glory. So it's here, you know, by
-
somebody open your bill, give me prize, give me prize, give me
-
prize. This the great out loud to be.
-
I declare God is good, I declare goodness and mercy is following
-
me every day everywhere I go. I live in the glory zone.
-
All things are working together for my good doors opening.
-
The reason is coming. Healing is flowing because I
-
dwell in the glory zone in Jesus, my name.
-
Put your eyes together. Hallelujah.
-
Shall I go out of Poland again? Almost time.
-
OK, so just before I close, if you've never invited Jesus into
-
your life or if you need to a fresh start, a clean slate
-
today, this is your moment. I want to give you an
-
opportunity to give your life to Jesus.
-
Invite you. I invite you to lift up your
-
hand right now. If you say yes, I see that hand.
-
Thank you. Everybody.
-
Just pray out loud. Jesus, I invite you to come into
-
my life to be my Lord and my Saviour.
-
I repent of my sins. Come into my heart for me with
-
your spirit, Amen. So if you pray that prayer, you
-
are a child of God. Hallelujah.
-
Let's celebrate. Come on, somebody give God.
