-
The title of the message today, and I'll just put it up here for
-
us. So we all get ready for the
-
structures as well. Rise up.
-
Somebody say rise up. Yeah, rise up.
-
Because life has got a way of knocking us down.
-
Life has got a way of knocking us down.
-
And sometimes it just feels like that.
-
You have been get never. I didn't say to from every
-
angle, every direction. Now, sometimes, yes, it is a
-
spiritual battle. Sometimes it's just stepping on
-
Lego barefoot in the dark. OK, so whether it's been a hard
-
season, whether it's been a hard week or month, whether it's just
-
been a hard morning, the bottom line is you don't have to stay
-
down because car has got to come back for you with your name.
-
That's only somebody should come back.
-
Come back. Hallelujah.
-
Now I'm here to tell you this morning that this is your moment
-
to rise up. This is your rise up moment.
-
Come to church. It's time to rise up.
-
Somebody shall rise up. You've got some place, hide the
-
heat up and dispose. Now for paints, we're going to
-
go out into the word of blue. And so we're going to go to a
-
stretcher this morning in the book of Acts chapter 14.
Acts 14 chapter mention
-
That is where we will find our proof text for the day, Acts
Acts 14 chapter mention
-
chapter 14. Now let me just give you the
-
context as chapter 14. Paul is preaching the gospel in
-
Lystra, and all of a sudden as he's preaching, he numbs to
-
somebody and when he notices this person.
-
This person has been crippled since birth.
-
OK so as lame paralysed that waltz a day in his life and this
-
lame person Paul doesn't whisper.
-
The Bible says Paul spoke with a loud.
-
Voice Hallelujah for loud voices right as well with a loud voice
-
with authority with baldness, with faith and yes Paul the
-
apostle and he says this in the book of Acts 14 verses 9 said
-
with a loud voice stand up straight on your feet and he.
-
Lit and he walked Hallelujah. Please God.
-
I feel the anointing of God on that God is not just a verb.
-
That is a word for somebody here today.
-
The Lord is saying it's time to rise up.
-
It's time to get back onto your feet and to walk into everything
-
that a God has ready installed for you.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah did not surprising those plants.
-
Let's just vote together. Father, we thank you for your
-
word. Now, Lord, speak through me.
-
Lord, I pray call for dry bones to rise again.
-
Holy Spirit, breed on every heart in this place.
-
Holy Spirit, come, let resurrection powerful this place
-
pour out your glory and let the rising begin in the mighty name
-
of Jesus Christ. Read Christ.
-
Somebody showed Hallelujah again.
-
That's chapter 14. Very powerful scripture and
-
chapter in the word of God just right after that miracle.
-
I mean, that's not where the story stops.
-
That's the introduction. Now I want to take you into the
-
next space. Space to are.
-
You ready to go a little deeper? Yeah.
-
OK. So the next space right off of
-
this miracle, the same people that were amazed by this
-
miracle, by a possible pull, they turned against Paul and
-
they grabbed him. They stoned him, dragged him
-
outside the city, left him for the like, just with this.
-
Now watch this because this is where it shuts.
-
This is powerful. I pray you get this word to that
-
verse 19. They stoned Paul, dragged him
-
out the sitting, supposing him to be thick.
-
Now some of you know what that feels like.
-
Some of you know what it feels like to be knocked down by life.
-
You know what it feels like when the words hitch it?
-
The slum of the gossip. Hitch it.
-
Like sharp stones cutting like stones.
-
Like being stoned. The the worse.
-
The hateful worst. Some of you know what that feels
-
like. They stoned it.
-
Cut. And, and I just know what it
-
feels like to be rejected by people, to be dragged by
-
betrayal, to be written off by people.
-
Some of you know what it feels like to be written off by
-
people. And they thought that you're
-
finished, that it's, it's over. But now listen.
-
Watch what happens in this powerful verse, chapter 20,
-
where it shipped. However, when the disciples
-
gathered around him, he rose up. Somebody shout, revise us, OK,
-
and be waiting to the city. Listen, we see this principle
-
throughout the Bible rising up, OK?
-
It's right there. And we see the same thing
-
happening over again. Only this time it's not a lame
-
person. You've got a crippled man that's
-
rising up. You've got a crippled lay person
-
that's getting up. This time it's the Apostle Paul
-
that's. Getting up, my God.
-
I love that when God showed this show, I'm like, my goodness, in
-
the one moment we see the lay person getting up, in the next
-
moment we see Paul engaging. And listen, notice Paul did not
-
stay down, OK? He got up.
-
He shook off the dirt, shook off the dust.
-
He got up and this is amazing. He went straight back to the
-
same place where they tried to the street.
-
My God, I mean, come on, somebody.
-
That's what I call a comeback. That's a comeback.
-
Come back. Somebody should come back.
-
Yeah, I would. Hallelujah.
-
That's what it looks like when you and I've got to come back
-
powering you. You've got to pounce back.
-
All right? That positive ball is bouncing
-
back in this bouncing player. It's bouncing back.
-
You've got to pulse back. Power on the inside of you.
-
Hallelujah, somebody. But I don't know who I gave you
-
for today, but you might have been knocked down.
-
Yeah. OK, knocked down by a live and
-
maybe you might have been hit harder.
-
Than what you've expected. But hear me today.
-
This is not the end of your story.
-
This is the beginning of your comeback.
-
Oh my rap. Come back.
-
Listen. God is calling you to rise.
-
God is pulling you to rise. Rise up out of the pits of
-
depression. Rise up out of fear.
-
Rise up out of guilt and shine and regret.
-
Rise up because the same. Spirit, now watch this.
-
The same spirit that throws Jesus from the grey Come on,
-
that's a power is on the side of you.
-
Yes, he's saying you. That's a power and rank Jesus
-
from the ground. First sign electricity called
-
this point, then it's hard. You Hallelujah, Romans 8 But if
-
the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the closet, that same
-
spirit, he will also raise you up and we, he will raise us up.
-
Church Hallelujah, blood is not forgotten about you.
-
It's not the burden about your men.
-
He's ready to raise you up again.
-
I don't care how many times we've been knocked out.
-
Is ready to rise us up again and again and again.
-
Hallelujah, man. That's a comeback.
-
That's a comeback. That's clowns back power.
-
That's bounce back. Imagine this vision of this
-
bouncing basketball. The harder you browse, the
-
harder the enemy tried to smash it.
-
The higher it's going to be the bounce back.
-
The harder you found, the higher you're going to get back up.
-
A thing. Oh my God, some of them cannot
-
kiss you. This voice, that's the
-
resurrection power. We see that in the word of God.
-
That same spirit, like Jesus, will also rise us up.
-
That's resurrection power. If we blast this, a power of God
-
that's on the inside of us. Somebody shout resurrection
-
power, resurrection. Now let me tell you about Tyson
-
Fury. BS and I.
-
Stood on top of the world heavyweight boxer of the top end
-
of the world. But behind the fame and the
-
lights and the city was falling apart.
-
He was losing his way. He lost himself mental health,
-
depression, anxiety, addiction in darkness.
-
And he thought about ending it all.
-
And on the lowest moment of his life, Tyson Fury cried out to
-
God. God, if you are real, Jesus,
-
help me. Oh Hallelujah.
-
God intervene. God touching, God restoring.
-
But he's like he got signed the ball against honey somebody and
-
then spend that moment that tried to find his boxing career.
-
Oh yes, he's fight against 10K Wilder and yes, Wilder in the
-
12th round. You know what I'm talking about
-
in the 12th round, this is what happened.
-
Tyson got the massive big a massive blow in the 12th round.
-
Such a massive shot. Such a massive hit that he was
-
not dark. And there is Tyson Fury, not
-
done lying fat on his back. And the crowds, they just
-
thought this is over and the Reef restarted the countdown 123
-
Tyson Fury is. Got the cows everybody for his
-
over. It's finished everybody and this
-
referee Scaldy 2345 and the stadium held is great and just
-
when everybody thought that he's finished and he's lights out and
-
that he's completely all of a sudden when the referee said
-
nice. Tyson Fury, Rosa.
-
Someone shot Rosa. Why can't you get Rider Rosa?
-
That's. And listen, he got just getting
-
absolutely shaky. Be shot like a man with a racer
-
full with the resurrection power.
-
He shut up, come on somebody. He shut up, new brothers up.
-
And he came back stronger than before.
-
He finished the fight now fast come back, come on, somebody
-
shot come back. That is what I call a comeback.
-
I bounce back power bouncing back when they don't think it's
-
just not you that listen, you are not knocked out.
-
He is not just the champion in the rig.
-
You know, Tyson Fury, he's standing boldly today.
-
He decreased the world that there's only one true king.
-
And. His name is Jesus Christ.
-
Somebody shall Hallelujah. He started ball for the gospel.
-
Jesus Christ. He's not a shame of the dust of
-
Jesus Christ. Only one king by Jesus.
-
So let me talk to somebody here today.
-
You might have been knocked down.
-
You might feel that you have lost.
-
Listen, the good news is you have not lost the fight.
-
You might have been knocked down by life.
-
You might have been knocked out. If you but you are not lost.
-
You've not lost the fight. You might have been knocked
-
down, but you've not been knocked out.
-
Come on. I want you to show you
-
different. I want you to see the
-
difference. You might have taken some shots
-
in life, knocked down, but you're not knocked out.
-
You're not out of the fight. You're not out of the gang.
-
You're not out of the cover. Somebody OK?
-
Listen, Daddy say get ready for your comeback, OK?
-
You might have been knocked down, but not not out.
-
You're you are. Listen, like Tyson.
-
You are rising again, man. Again and again.
-
You're rising again. Somebody shout out Hallelujah.
-
Now let me give you. Another sculpture I will.
-
Just a moment. My God, seven days it says this.
-
There's the road 12 if you want to lease us.
-
That is absolutely incredible. I've watched it last night.
-
Just the shortcut. It is awful how he.
-
Shot. Right back up resurrection and
-
pay they all finish the fight. Come on somebody Jesus is the
-
only come out. You've got somebody to this
-
help. You've got surprise you did come
-
on yes, they did not complicate once in together.
-
There's once in there. Are you creating wisdom?
-
We are getting up to her. My God, Jesus is down to what
-
now? Micah 7 Do not rejoice over me,
-
my enemy. When I fall, I will arise.
-
Micah did not say if I fall, he said.
-
When I fall, Come on, Sahari. Not if I when I.
-
Let's just be real honest in this room, OK?
-
Falling is part of life. Sometimes it's part of life.
-
It's OK. There's going to be moments in
-
your life with you trip up. Let's just be real and very
-
honest in this place today. There's going to be moments
-
you're going to hit some bumps in the road.
-
It's just going to knock you down, OK?
-
But listen, falling is not the problem.
-
Fully is not the problem. Staying down, oh God has been
-
like itching this grace. Come on.
-
Yeah. Yeah.
-
This is the word I've got. You know, just because life
-
knocked you down, that doesn't mean you had lost your fight.
-
It doesn't mean you are up. Listen, I might be on the floor,
-
but listen, I'm not out of the fight.
-
I might have been knocked down maybe, but I've not.
-
I don't before. I'm not.
-
Listen, I'm getting up. I'm getting back up.
-
Hallelujah. Because even though you may be
-
not down in the natural, there is something supernatural.
-
That is arising. In you.
-
Come on, it's advanced back home.
-
It's 'cause it's a spirit for. Combat resurrection power.
-
Somebody showed resurrection power.
-
So you carry the same spirits that pull Jesus from the dead.
-
That same spirit is saying to you, rise up.
-
This is your moment. The failure is not your final
-
chapter. You have not been knocked out.
-
This is your bounce back moments.
-
This is your comeback moment. This is your rise up moment.
-
Somebody shot Hallelujah. Come on, somebody say that this
-
is my rise up moments. Yeah, yeah.
-
Come on. This is it.
-
This is it. Get ready, because listen, this
-
is what we do. Listen, your next round.
-
Oh, my God. I feel like prophecy here right
-
now. Your next round is going to be
-
your best round. Come on, Somebody's getting this
-
today. Yeah, Now you do.
-
Yeah, because you're that's now it's going to be your best now.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on, let's get some payments
-
in this. Place Now let's read this
-
powerful scripture in Second Corinthians.
-
We are hard pressed on every side.
-
OK, that's life. OK?
-
Let's just be honest, OK? Not in this side of heaven, this
-
on this planet. As long as we, yeah, we live in
-
a fallen world. OK?
-
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed.
-
Perplexed, but not in the spirit.
-
Persecuted, but not about struck.
-
Down OK come on somebody back not she's a guy might have been
-
not done. But not, not done.
-
I want you to get that in your spirit today.
-
OK, now let me tell you something real playing here
-
today. You are not built to stay down.
-
OK, yeah, this and that and I just cutting you right planet,
-
you are not. Shaped to stay stuck, OK.
-
You have been designed to rise, OK?
-
You have been full. You've been filled with the fire
-
of the Holy Ghost, OK, somebody. So on the inside of you is
-
something very powerful. Listen.
-
How is afraid of that? Of that powerful resurrection
-
power? Listen, the hell cannot handle
-
that, OK? And that's why, let's say it's
-
been so intense. That's why the pressure has been
-
so heavy. And sometimes the warfare feels
-
so personal. OK?
-
Because the devil is afraid of where you're going.
-
Yeah, he's afraid of he's terrified of where you are
-
going. Because listen, the devil, he
-
caught the glimpse of your future.
-
And what's happened is the the the enemy.
-
He saw the calling on your life. He saw the man saw that you
-
carry, he saw the oil that is on your flight and So what the
-
enemies try to shut you down before stepping into us.
-
OK, because he's afraid. Now here is what the enemy
-
didn't know you have got bounce back power to you, but under
-
devil that's something that you didn't know that about you.
-
OK that you have got compact, you've got to come back power,
-
OK, you've got comeback capacity.
-
So you were pulled to recover. That's what the enemy going to
-
and so you've been Christ to rise again.
-
Hallelujah somebody. I love the way the call said it.
-
He said listen, we are praise on every side, but we are not
-
crushed. We listen, the ball says it's
-
like, listen, we've been knocked down, but we are not destroying
-
cover somebody. I love the way city then that is
-
the kind of boat that stands to stop.
-
I may be down, I may have been, but listen, I'm not staying
-
down. I've got resurrection power
-
living on inside of me and we just not.
-
I love that song. It's so powerful now.
-
Let's go a little deeper. What's this in proverbs?
-
Are you ready? Church it says here verse 16 for
-
though the righteous fall savor and thoughts they.
-
Like this principle is awful of the Bible.
-
It's so powerful principle we see again, fooling is not the
-
problem. Fooling is not pleased.
-
Falling doesn't make you failure.
-
Stay in down bus Amen. OK, righteous.
-
OK to be You are not righteous because you're a perfect person.
-
You're righteous. Because you keep on getting back
-
up again, OK? Listen you Mayor Porter was
-
twice three times the Bible says 7 times the righteous rise again
-
that was saving is symbolic is a word for completion completion
-
somebody OK, so the Bible says listen secret time.
-
So 7 is mini completion. So that means God's Christ
-
doesn't run out. This mercy doesn't get tired.
-
The Bible says the fact is mercy every new every morning.
-
I like. I woke up this morning.
-
I don't really care what happened yesterday.
-
Today is a new day. Today, this first blood, this
-
grace. Mercy.
-
This grace is so gives birth. This grace today.
-
I don't know. Somebody listen, God's not
-
counting you out. He's counting you.
-
I made somebody. Can you send me?
-
You have been through the flood, but the waters did not drown
-
you. You came through the storm, but
-
the storm did not stop you. OK.
-
Why? Because what's inside of you?
-
Come on, get this revelation now.
-
Fright to the sea are you see you then he thank you my
-
daughters. We said no instructors right now
-
this sitcom like there is another city, he said wake up
-
every morning. What's this regulation our ears?
-
Like he shut up out of bed is a lot of bed is in the Sydney, but
-
he that is in the world, yeah, that is a residential power that
-
he can't make. Try the day Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
This is this is Josh. You wake up this morning, he
-
says a trapping there's another comment on the inside of you.
-
This is a rich and power that's right for your bloods throwing
-
for your DNA. This is a rich and power that is
-
a revelation. We walk around where greater as
-
you don't see us now. OK, so it might feel that you
-
have dropped the ball either a brand to either a mean to OK,
-
but listen somewhere along the line it just happened, OK, and
-
you just slip and you drop the ball OK now.
-
You mishandled what God has placed in your hands.
-
OK, but I've got good news for you today, chess.
-
If you feel like you dropped the ball, if you feel like you've
-
made a mistake, listen, you are not alone.
-
Let's just be honest and really checked.
-
You are not the only one that's dropped the ball.
-
You're not the only. One that's by the mistake the
-
Bible says we've all sent. So come on, stop pointing
-
fingers there front and say to stop it.
-
OK, we've all sent every single person on this planet.
-
We've all fallen, we've all made mistakes.
-
OK, so you're not alone. Even one of the highest leaders
-
in the church, God that was leading us, Moses dropped the
-
ball. Now I want to show this to you
-
because this is very powerful. Moses did the same thing in this
-
God gave him 3 tablets of stone. I mean that was just, I mean
-
these amazing stone tablets written by the very finger of
-
God. Kill Heben on stone.
-
Think about that, yeah. OK.
-
Is we'll just, you know, just talk about stone.
-
We are talking about sacred. This is sacred that God gave in.
-
OK, listen and God goes listen. This is sacred stone for the
-
heavenly print on this. Take this to my people.
-
And yet those Moses and Moses would come down the mountain of
-
Dory, and what did he walk into? Chaos, confusion, compromise.
-
The very same people of God that came through the Red Sea milling
-
ball of worshipping an idol dancing around in a calf golden
-
puff. And Moses snat out of
-
frustration and he flew it down and he shattered and broke all
-
of it. He shattered.
-
What was I breath it? Was completely shampoo.
-
What was sacred? And so it wasn't because he
-
didn't know God, it was because of the pressure of the people
-
that live in compromise, rebellion, disobedience.
-
And he got his stration, got the better of it.
-
Well, let's be honest. How many of us have been there?
-
Come on, let's be honest, OK? We.
-
Smashed. What was the sacred?
-
Which smash these this up not because we didn't care, but
-
because of the pressure around us.
-
Yeah, Yeah. The pressure that's been going
-
on, OK, Now sometimes, and this is very important because the
-
biggest go to your calling can because of the compromise of
-
somebody else, yeah. One of the biggest because of
-
the disobedience, the rebellion. The wrong choices of somebody
-
else they disobedience drank you and before you realize that
-
you've dropped the ball you've dropped what was sacred.
-
You have dropped. Maybe you've dropped a dream
-
that God gave you are a Corley or a talent.
-
Maybe you dropped, maybe it was a relationship that you did not
-
protect. But yeah, me today.
-
Don't throw away your peace because somebody else lost their
-
peace. Don't throw away your peace
-
because of what somebody else did with their peace, because
-
they gave up on their calling, because they turn labor and
-
don't give out what knows. They say protect your peace,
-
protect your peace. Regardless of what others are
-
doing, protect your will. Protect your gift regardless,
-
because this is what happened to Moses, the prison of the people.
-
And he dropped the ball. So protect your will listen.
-
Now this is where the miracle happens.
-
This is now. The good news because, and I
-
feel the grace of God all over this, because God didn't give up
-
on Moses. No, that's right.
-
He didn't give up on hoses and he's not giving up on you.
-
Yeah. We've dropped the ball.
-
God doesn't give up on us. It's not like a man.
-
It's not like other God Forgives.
-
Some other people may not forgive, but God has forgive.
-
Yes. God has not.
-
Given up on emojis. He's not given up on you now
-
instead, God said. And this is very powerful.
-
Watch this. Just though our. 2 stone stuff
-
is like the first was guy said. Now there's many was also
-
Michael when I have psycho chest disturbing me, come up to me on
-
the mountain and I will write on the side there's the.
-
Same words that were on the ones you smashed.
-
Oh, the grace of God has the goodness of God.
-
Hallelujah. Listen, he didn't give up on
-
Moses. He restored him.
-
He didn't cancel Moses. He didn't take appalling path.
-
No, he reconfirmed the he recommissioned Moses.
-
He said Moses, come back up again, highlight again, say
-
glory, say words. Just another chance.
-
Oh, somebody say that. Another chance.
-
Oh, I feel that. Oh, I feel that.
-
I'm linking in a spray today. Another Trump.
-
Oh, I won't got this one as they're taken for another
-
chance. Yeah.
-
Thank you for one more day. You're the God of the recourse.
-
Another chance, my God. Same calling, saying, well,
-
that's another chance. That's a God of redemption.
-
That's when grace steps in. OK, you've not gone too.
-
Far. OK, it's not over yet.
-
OK, it's not too far gone. It's not too late.
-
God is a God of another chance, another grace.
-
There's no limit to his grace. He's a God of sacred charges.
-
It gives us a sacred charge. So it's time to rise up and stop
-
rehearsing what went wrong. Stop rehearsing what went wrong.
-
Stop replaying how what now? You drop the ball.
-
What went wrong when you drop the ball, listen, shake off the
-
Guild because God is scoring you higher waiting up on the
-
mountain, OK. And so come up and shake off the
-
gill and just lift your your heart up and come back into the
-
glory. Step into the glory because this
-
is your moment to rise up. Hallelujah.
-
Yeah, the some of you be still carrying the weight of the
-
mistake of a past mistake. What went wrong?
-
And you've been wall picks by what you've mishandled.
-
Listen, let your pastor say. Don't let that past mistake
-
become your permanent abbess. Yeah, that's.
-
Right. Yeah.
-
Don't let what they did, don't let what that person or that was
-
so, so, so or looking at bold and what people's choices and
-
things going on in the raw. Don't did that distract you or
-
what you don't let what that keep you stuck at the bottom of
-
the mountain. OK, don't let that that divorce,
-
that addiction, that affair, that anger, that mistake,
-
failure, doesn't that keep you in shame?
-
It starts to rise up out. I just keep on moving forward
-
and start climbing again because God is not looking for for all
-
his people. God is looking for faith for us.
-
God is not calling the police. No, he's calling the persistent.
-
Yeah, he's listening to. Yeah.
-
Who says I'm climbing again? I'm getting back up again.
-
That's what is listening for. I'm still climbing.
-
I'm climbing back up on the mountain again.
-
I'm climbing again. Like I said to Moses, listen,
-
most come back onto the mountain.
-
That's what God is faulty. Come back onto the mountain.
-
Yeah. David, I'm going to give you
-
brand new ones. Yeah, it's not OK.
-
Stop crying over the ones that smashed.
-
Stop crying over the past mistakes.
-
Come back up again. Get a new assignment.
-
That is what God is saying. He's saying the same thing to
-
you that he said to Moses. That's what he's saying.
-
He said. Listen, come back up onto the
-
mountain. You are being recommissioned.
-
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
-
Come on, come on. Go ahead.
-
And we drop the ball. But haven't we made the
-
freights? It's a clear slave.
-
Art is calling us up to the mountain.
-
He's giving us a planning one. Come on, please.
-
Recommission. Yeah, that's right.
-
Now let's go to one of my favorite.
-
Scriptures in the Bible as I 60 verse one.
-
Arise they're from the depression and the frustration
-
in which circumstances have kicked you rise to a new life
-
shine be right in with the glory of the Lord for your light has
-
come and the glory of the Lord has risen apart you now now will
-
in that verse the Bible said God does not say white until you
-
feel stronger it doesn't say wait until you feel holy until
-
you feel click yeah he says arise in it he says the.
-
Circumstances that us catching whatever situation, whatever
-
mess, whatever circumstances he's saying arise in it, that's
-
where we are. He did not say wait until you
-
feel holy or you feel better than stronger to arise.
-
He said arise in this, arise in the pain, arise in the process,
-
arise while your heart is still getting.
-
I'll arise while the tears are still free.
-
Arise because it's a rising and here is the rising has got
-
nothing to do with feelings, with how you feel to rise up has
-
got everything to do with what you've been called today.
-
That's the word of the Lord. We have been called to rise up.
-
So let me speak to the wounded warriors.
-
Let me speak to the silent strugglers, let me speak to the
-
faithful wars, let me speak to the rising ones that you have
-
been worshipping through the whites.
-
You've been weeping and the enemy has been whispering and
-
been saying to you that you're not strong enough.
-
Just give up and quite set this one up.
-
But the devil is a liar. You don't have to be pain free.
-
You don't have to be struggle free in order to rise.
-
You don't have to have all the circumstances to be lined up in
-
perfect true allies, OK, You you don't need it to be painful to
-
live a purposeful life, OK. And so God.
-
Is not asking for a flawless record.
-
When you look at all the warriors throughout the Bible,
-
many of these greatest warriors in the Bible, they didn't win
-
because they had a flawless game record.
-
Now they won't because they did not win, because they were
-
perfect people. They won because they rose up in
-
the mess, they rose up in the difficulty, in the challenges,
-
and they refused to give up. They never laid down.
-
They sword in the middle of a battle.
-
That's your warriors. They bled and they still
-
believe, OK. And I believe that same pouncing
-
back split anointing is rising up in you.
-
Yeah. Oh my God, I feel that I wanted
-
to bother you this nice. It's a bronze black conroiting
-
that's burning of its attitude. It's very easy.
-
It's crazy. It's the rise of the ruins and
-
it's rising up in you and it's in this place.
-
I feel that emerging of the spikes.
-
I'll say to you without anointing, it's here, it's a
-
rise up anointing. I feel it in this space because
-
there's many of you that you advising our as you're speaking
-
type this rise in our or in it rising up.
-
Many of us we have been pressing through.
-
You can worship with a lip. Listen, I'll never forget when I
-
wish a bleeder. I was still back in the days at
-
the community centre, priesthood community centre, and it's just
-
here comes our wish. A bleeder Moises back, twisted
-
muscles stuffed shoulders all twisted, all tights up my
-
growing headache. I mean, he's feeling rough, but
-
he got. Behind that keyboard, he didn't
-
wait to feel better, he just started to worship anyway.
-
My God, I said that your fight, why should put the limb Yes.
-
And many of you here today, you have similar stories, some of
-
the Sujai stories that listen, you have showed up beer today,
-
you have showed up in church with battle on the night,
-
battles going on the road, pile in your body, disappointment in
-
your heart, frustration. But you showed up.
-
I chose. You showed up anyway.
-
You still came, you still lifted your hands, you still praise,
-
you stole. So you still came to church
-
today. Now listen.
-
That moves the heart of God. God's watching Lordy, God's
-
watching that moves. The heart of God that touches
-
the heart of God I made you know I.
-
Remember when I used to play rugby back in the day and just
-
before the game? We would get together in the
-
changing rooms and you just you have the the boots are getting
-
ready jerseys on and all that and medical tape around the
-
knees and the joints and the rest medical city and the whole
-
changing room. It just smells like miffle deep
-
beats. All right.
-
You just see these ice packs everywhere and I'm like, wow, it
-
didn't look like a team getting ready for a game.
-
It looked like a team that just come off the field.
-
Let's just come out there. I'll finish the game.
-
OK. And so it looked more like the
-
aftermath of a battle, aftermath of a war rather than the start
-
of a game. I mean, one of my team mates, I
-
caught my eye. This guy I just looked at, he's
-
ripped. It was blue and bruised.
-
He shrubs from the previous guy. He had a place in his hand, I
-
mean, type around his knees. He had that padded stuff around
-
his, you know, his shoulders. And Chase had it.
-
Yeah, like type. Around his head because of the
-
compassion. I thought to myself, Sir, it's
-
not going to go on today. No, it's not going to pay.
-
Now. He's going to set this one up.
-
Even the coach said, listen, son, take it easy.
-
You know, you up, take it easy. You don't, you don't, you know,
-
he literally looked like a walking hospital.
-
I'm like, I'll never forget what he said to the coast.
-
I mean, the coach is a young man.
-
Listen, you could take it outside the coast, he said.
-
I, I, I'm in pain. I have a little pain, Sir.
-
But I would rather be in pain in the game than sitting on the
-
sidelines. Watch that crutch me, that's
-
Sabre be. I'd rather be in the playing of
-
pain and sitting on the beach on the sidelines watching.
-
I want to be in the game. Get back in the game.
-
Oh, Hallelujah. Wow.
-
That's just the sound of an overcomer.
-
That is the sound when he's shaker.
-
That is the sound of a rising up one.
-
That is a sound after 5 or I believe that same fire is
-
burning in this place today. That overcoming is in this room
-
today. There are people here.
-
You have walked through hardship, you've walked for
-
difficulty. You've been not down through
-
hardship and pretty difficulties.
-
But what's amazing is even through all of that
-
difficulties, you still. Came you walked in here anyway.
-
Heaven is taking notice. Heaven is taking notice.
-
Listen, you've taken hits, you've taken knocks, you've
-
taken Hicks, but you didn't stay up.
-
Even takes notice. That's heaven.
-
The stars, The scars don't disqualify champion scars.
-
What it? Proves that you stayed in the
-
game, You stayed in the fights. You're starting the fight.
-
Come on, come on. Let's just be honest.
-
Life is not easy. It's not pretty.
-
Come on. OK, is this.
-
But what's amazing is, listen, maybe life happened to you and
-
you've had some deep hurts, you've had some knocks and you
-
find yourselves on the bench on the side lots.
-
I'm here to tell you, get back in the game.
-
We've all been hit. Get back in the game.
-
Listen, we've all gone through, we've all had that.
-
Listen, get back in the game. Don't let the pain keep you on
-
the sidelines. Yeah.
-
We've all had church fight some person hurt or this we've all
-
had hurt at workplaces or different places.
-
OK, But I'm here to tell you, don't let that pain put you on
-
the side. Don't wait to get it all
-
together before you get back into the game.
-
I love what Bill Johnson said. It's right in the front lines.
-
That is where we belong, The fraud.
-
OK, not at the sidelines. I remember talking to somebody
-
at church. Yeah, it was one Sunday morning.
-
And the person that just got through surgery and I just asked
-
her, I'm like, how are you doing?
-
And that person smiled through the pain.
-
And you're sipping icy faces. You've got the surgeon right
-
there. He's smiled through the.
-
I am. And.
-
And this is what the person I'll never forget.
-
It was and some person said I am hurting but I'm yeah.
-
Of the surgery. OK, I'm hurting.
-
Bam. Yeah.
-
Heaven notices. I'm hoping.
-
OK. I've had surgery.
-
I'm stuck. Michelle, my wife gave birth one
-
Sunday. The very next Sunday, she's back
-
in church. Come on.
-
Somebody. No.
-
Somebody. Oh, my God.
-
She's not like no, Michelle. No, no, no, no.
-
I live with her. That woman is a warrior.
-
I'm sending you there. She's a warrior.
-
My God, she's a warrior. I'll go back with her for
-
everything. I'll fight.
-
That's a warrior. She's a mighty warrior.
-
Oh my God. You don't make so far.
-
I know, I know. Right there.
-
I just not there. And I hug and I just.
-
You are amazing. That's the kind of phrase that
-
moves matters. You might be hurting, but you
-
showed up. You might be shrubbing, You
-
might be weeping, but you're still worshipping.
-
There's power in staying in the game.
-
There's power in staying in the fight.
-
There's power in staying on the field.
-
We've all been hit. We have all been betrayed.
-
We've all been rejected. We've all had our.
-
Moments where the enemies tried to knock us out and knock us
-
down. But just because you are
-
limping, it doesn't mean you have lost.
-
You don't need to have it all together to say, coach, put me
-
back in. You don't need to have all
-
together. I'm still ready.
-
I might have been knocked out already.
-
Still available, Lord. And so when God sees you, Christ
-
through the pain, when God sees you serve through the struggle,
-
God releases fresh what? And it releases a fresh fire.
-
Fisher Mighty. Was I love with Tyson through
-
when he can listen. When you rise up, you look the
-
energy bit in the past. You say, listen, I'm back.
-
Are you? Oh, you saw she's a Milky.
-
All right, I can't. You just start a pop, but you
-
just have that devil Devil you fight.
-
If you don't be that, I am back with the fight with the
-
vengeance. I am still here.
-
I am still in the game. I'm still fighting the good
-
fight a fight. Please.
-
We're going to fight us. We're going to fight us to the
-
end. Oh Hallelujah.
-
It's not falling, it's getting up.
-
Remember that tablet? Oh, Psalm 23 For even though I
-
walk through the valley, I will fear no evil for you.
-
What free David? Didn't say even though I sit in
-
the valley, he say no, I walk through it, he moving through
-
it. And we don't pitch a tent in the
-
valley. We don't stay stuck in the
-
valley. We keep on moving forward
-
because there's more ahead, the bases there to come.
-
There is glory waiting. Now let me tell you a story that
-
moves me to this day in 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.
-
I had holiday Tanzania marathon runner his name is John Stephen
-
up while he was a runner in the race and so worried partway
-
through the race he fell ha dislocated his knee.
-
He just completely bruised his leg, buzzed us, busted his leg,
-
he was bleeding, could barely. Walk I saw the most people
-
assumed that he was out of the race, but then hours later, the
-
crowd heard a stir and yes, a quarry lumping into the stadium.
-
And so when the reports are asking, listen, party, why
-
didn't you just give up? Why didn't you just stop and
-
give up? He said.
-
My country did not sing me for thousands and miles all the way
-
here to just start a race. My country sent me 5000 miles
-
away because I've finished the race.
-
We've been a CG. Yeah, of the sun.
-
Not to start the race, but to finish your race.
-
You've been stained from heaven. We are from heaven.
-
We are just passing through this earth.
-
This is not our home. We are called to finish.
-
Mount this is what the race it is Judge.
-
I never thought of stopping. God didn't call you to start
-
that you were born to finish. What God has started in your
-
life, He is faithful to complete.
-
Hallelujah. So in closing, let me take you
-
to story that Jesus told about a young man, a son.
-
We decided that he did not want his father's house anymore.
-
So he asked for the Puritans early.
-
Packed his bag, ran away from homeless bar is Ecuador.
-
Fart like freedom parted. Chase off of the fall.
-
You see, sin has got a pattern. It always leads to a dead end
-
and the dead and soon he ended up sitting in the full feed pig
-
begging for food made for the pigs.
-
Now watch this because this is where the story shifts.
-
When he came to himself, he said how many of my father's hide
-
siblings are breathing now speak and I perish with hunger.
-
Now that is a moment where the light, the truth shone through
-
the lies, and he came to himself.
-
Now the very next verse, Watch this because this is the voice
-
of Revive. Verse it I will.
-
Arise somebody Shire, and I'll come to my father.
-
I will arise, Hallelujah, arise even where they say that even in
-
the Mace, notice he did not first clean himself up.
-
He did not like to clean himself up first.
-
He said right, right there in the Mace.
-
That is a church. I want you to grab that in your
-
spirit to that in the difficulty in the chalice.
-
On the floor, knocked down in the big bin.
-
I will arise. That's where it starts.
-
Am I? That's been changed.
-
A changed mind and made-up mind. He didn't wait until you feel
-
holy. He just came back.
-
He did not come. That Polish.
-
He did not come back. OK, he arose.
-
He came back. And so as we come to the close
-
of this word today, this is your moment to rise.
-
Arise from the mess, the difficult, the challenge,
-
whatever it is. Arise from the depression, from
-
the pit, from the loudiness. Arise.
-
From the rejection, the sickness, the affliction, the
-
guilt, whatever he arise out of it.
-
Because this is the start of your comeback.
-
Now here's my favorite part of the story, verse 20 And he
-
arouse and came to his father. But when he was still a great
-
boy, or his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell
-
on his neck and kissed in. I love it when the sun arise.
-
The Bible says that the Father ran to him.
-
And the father did not cross his arms and say, oh, go, go and
-
clean yourself up. Go in this soldiers up before I
-
talk to you. No.
-
He opened his arms. He wrapped his arms in the
-
honey. He kissed him with compassion.
-
He loved him, he said. Get him.
-
On get away. Fire off.
-
Fire up the face. Let's send.
-
It runs. My son is back.
-
My son is back. Oh yes, instead of late.
-
He aroused my son is back. Listen, the father ran to him.
-
He did not wait for him to even while the son still smelled like
-
the pig still smelled dirty and was broken, stolen dirty.
-
But the father ran to him and he said my son is back.
-
And that is what? We come as we are, as you come
-
as you are. We don't have to fix ourselves
-
through something. You don't take a bath.
-
You go to take a bath to get kicked.
-
Come as you are just as you are, and that's what happens when you
-
rise. Yes, I'm initial stands
-
together. Let's keep our surprise
-
Hallelujah. Now maybe you here today or you
-
feel like Paul that's been styled left for dead by
-
disappointment or rejected by people OK or beaten down by
-
betrayal. Or maybe you feel like the
-
prodigal that you far from where you thought you.
-
Would be in Life OK, Maybe something happened, A deep
-
hurts, a wrong turn, a rejection, a secret struggle, a
-
silent grief. Maybe something happened and now
-
you are sitting in your own pig pen and so you are asking how in
-
the world did I get you? How did I would God even want
-
someone like me? Listen, the truth is the Father
-
has been waiting. He's been waiting for a
-
celebration. He's waiting for you and for me,
-
for with arms wide open for his sons and his daughters to arise.
-
He's waiting to celebrate, to say rise up, silent daughter,
-
rise up and come. And so if this word is touching
-
your heart today and it's burning in your spirit and this
-
is a word for you, I want you to respond.
-
And if you say this is your comeback moment.
-
This is your rise moment. Listen, I want you to respond
-
with everything you've got and open your heart and cry out to
-
God and say God, this is my moment.
-
I'm coming back, I'm arising. This is my moment.
-
So if that is you, lift up your hands to heaven right now and
-
say out loud, this is my comeback moment.
-
I am arising again. Somebody said Hallelujah, now
-
receive this prayer. Raise your eyes to heaven.
-
Father, I pray for every son, every daughter standing in your
-
presence right now. Some have fallen, some have
-
wandered, some have wet behind closed doors.
-
But right now, Lord, I thank you that you are the God who
-
restores. I thank you that you are the God
-
of resurrection. And then that resurrection power
-
begins to flow. Let it be flow right now and let
-
every buried dream begin to rise.
-
Let it begin to love again. And Lord break off every shade,
-
every guilt, every betrayal. Lord cover.
-
They passed under the blood of Jesus, the power of the blood of
-
Jesus. And I declare to everyone here,
-
you will arise, you will never rise again.
-
You'll bounce back. You will fulfill the call of God
-
in your life in Jesus mighty name, I, the Queen of the fly
-
over you. Look at me everybody.
-
You will rise again, you will rise again.
-
You will rise. Come on somebody, so you will
-
rise. Let's put some declarations out
-
now together. Say I decree this is my rise up
-
moments. I declare I've got resurrection
-
power inside of me. I declare.
-
I will rise again, shout it one good time, give down some brain.
-
Hallelujah. So before I.
-
Close If we've never invited Jesus into your heart, into your
-
life, I want to give you an opportunity.
-
If there's anybody yet that want to receive Jesus, become a child
-
of God. If that's you, just raise up
-
your hand, right? There where you are, anybody is
-
everybody a child of God. Everybody right now, if you know
-
this is your last damn planet Earth, you stand before God.
-
You're going to heaven if you know 100% for sure.
-
Anybody anybody here everybody born again safe washing the
-
blood Hallelujah respride together.
-
Pity. Thank you.
-
We're searching the biggest dead.
-
We're searching up here. Keep the front.
-
We're going to worship bar for a moment and we get a minister.
-
I really believe God is going to do some powerful amazing healing
-
miracles in our mist today. So right now let's come
-
expected. Let's come hungry Hallelujah.
-
Let's go for it. Let's let's worship for about
-
let's press in. This is our price of worship,
-
inspiring and in truth, right God and this is our moment
-
church. Let's grab.
-
How did this word sink into your story today?
