We've got to go for it. And so this morning I just want
-
to go right into this because God just sent me over the word
-
from the book of Judges chapter 6.
Judges 6 chapter mention
-
And so we're going to have a look at a.
-
Story there, the story of Gideon, how God takes an
-
ordinary person hiding in a wine place and he transformed him,
-
OK, into a mighty warrior. Listen, God transformed him he
-
was hiding in a wine press. God transformed it into a
-
history making warrior my God and that's what I want to share
-
this morning about the from white press to warrior.
-
That's the message God gave me, and so I'll.
-
Put it up on on the screen here for us from Wine Crest to
-
Warrior. That's the one about yes.
-
Awesome. OK, let's go in in Judges
Judges 6 chapter mention
-
chapter 6 and we're going to go in this and I thank God for
-
this, right? Awesome.
-
Are you ready everybody? Because this graffiti word is
-
just from here for now. And so the same card.
-
Who? Called Gideon out of the wine
-
press. The same card is about to call
-
you into a whole new season. Can you say I mean somebody?
-
Okay, Hallelujah. And you see, because God is
-
calling the kiddies out of hiding, out of the wine press,
-
He's awakening men and women right now.
-
People that have been pressed now overlooked, underestimated,
-
okay, I believe. That by the time we are done
-
today, OK, that you won't just hear about Gideon's story, that
-
that you're going to be stepping into your own revival story.
-
Can you say, I mean, somebody, come on, somebody shot
-
Hallelujah. Are you ready for me somewhat?
-
OK, Hallelujah. We're going to go straight into
-
this because something is about to happen in this place.
-
I feel the anointing of God spoke to me.
-
Something is about you. This is a new day.
-
This is a new season, OK? You are becoming the warrior
-
that God's using you. Hallelujah.
-
Super. So wall with me this morning.
-
We're going to go through this. Are you ready, Somebody?
-
Are you ready for this? OK, there's reading Judges 6,
-
verse 11. The Angel of the Lord came and
-
sat down under oak in Oprah that belonged to Jayastha Abrazai,
-
where his son Gideon was stressing weeds in a wine brace.
-
It was a white brace. To keep it from the.
-
Midianites. OK, so the enemy has been stowed
-
attacking you now when? The.
-
Angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon.
-
He said The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.
-
Hallelujah. How powerful is that?
-
My God, let's pray. Father, I thank you for your
-
presence in this place. I thank you for the anointing.
-
Holy Spirit, come have your way, Holy Spirit, anoint my lips open
-
every heart touch, every heart. Move freely, Holy Spirit, move
-
them. I'm sure people.
-
Oh Holy Spirit, come and speak, Holy Spirit, bring The Word
-
Alive. Make it alive in every heart.
-
Raise up and awaken mighty warriors in this room, and you
-
will all receive the glory, because unto you belong all the
-
glory and the power forever. In the mighty name of Jesus,
-
somebody shout Amen. Hallelujah, Robert, somebody.
-
We got to deal with this word today.
-
Grab hold of this today because when we meet Gideon, he's in a
-
wine place. He is tracing wheat.
-
He's hiding from the enemy, the milliners.
-
He's just trying to get enough food for his family.
-
Now this wine place where Gideon is tracing wheat.
-
This is a picture what God is about to do in Gideon's life.
-
You understand what I'm saying? Let me explain this to you
-
because when you fresh wheat, you separate the grain from the
-
chaff. OK, So the grade is this, this
-
to be removing from the chaff for the grain.
-
Now the grain. Listen, how many?
-
Of you know, OK, it's not bread yet, it's grain.
-
Now those of you that buy bread, you you have to crush the grain
-
needs to be crushing to find flour.
-
Then with the flour you mix well in water, right?
-
Then what do we do when we we needing OK, we need the until it
-
is flexible, until it's pliable, OK, and then finally.
-
Bikes in the fire and then it's ready to feed the hungry.
-
Then it is bread. OK.
-
And that is what catch what God was doing in Gideon's life.
-
He was fishing. The wine place was a freshing
-
floor. God was fishing.
-
Gideon. Oh, Hallelujah.
-
Are you with me? Somebody you understand what I'm
-
saying, OK. So God was removing the chuff
-
God from Gideon's. God was removing the unbelief,
-
the chuff of unbelief from him. He was crushing the fear that
-
held him back. He was mixing in the the
-
obedience into his life, OK, mixing that courage, it's with
-
obedience. And so that was the question.
-
And then he was needing faith, OK, into his calling.
-
You understand what God is doing here, how he's working with
-
Gideon, OK. And then finally with Gideon,
-
preparing him for the fire of Tasty.
-
And so, of course, God, before God could rescue this nation, he
-
first had to rescue Gideon from his own unbelief.
-
Can you say it means somebody? You're getting this, OK?
-
And so just like wheat is. Transformed.
-
Into bread to feed the hungry, Todd was transforming Tydian
-
into a deliverer to bring deliverance to feed the nation
-
with hope and victory. Can you shout?
-
I make somebody. Hallelujah.
-
OK. Are you with me?
-
Because I'm going to go fast. Because maybe you feel like you.
-
Are in a crushing time right now?
-
Maybe you're in a crushing. Place right now and you.
-
Feel that you are pressed on every side, hidden away maybe.
-
You feel underestimated, overlooked, OK, hidden away and
-
wondering if anything good is going to come out of where you
-
are. Listen to us.
-
Let me just tell you, crushing is not punishment.
-
Crushing is preparation. Oh, OK, listen, they need to
-
tell you the why. Praise is not the aid.
-
The flu show is not the aid. That's the beginning.
-
OK, so God is getting you ready for the battlefield.
-
Mike Bars to me. He's putting you ready.
-
Somebody He's shaping you in. Someone who's going to feed
-
others with the brain of life. He's transforming us into the
-
brain of life to feed so many others.
-
Hallelujah. Can you shout Hallelujah?
-
I mean, here's Gideon. Just picture him.
-
He's here on the wine press, racing wheat and dust in the
-
air, and he is scared. He's hiding.
-
His heart is racing and it is grains and separating the child
-
from all. And he's worried.
-
He's like thinking. Oh my God, is this the day today
-
that the enemy is going to find me?
-
Because these many. Nights have been attacking us
-
from every area and is. This going to be the day that
-
the enemy is going to find me here.
-
And in the middle of his fear, in the middle of his mess of the
-
terror of the frustration, in the middle of the survival mode,
-
all of a sudden, Boo an Angel showed up make up there is an
-
Angel of a Lord appeared to all in the Angel all say the Lord is
-
with you mighty. Warrior Oh, I feel the
-
anointing. I feel an appearance in this
-
place. My God, Angeli, the glory, the
-
Princess of God is in this place.
-
Mighty Warrior. Now Gideon probably looked over
-
like mighty Warrior. OK.
-
Who me? You must.
-
Have got the wrong guy Because mighty warriors don't hide.
-
Mighty warriors are brave and courageous.
-
They don't hide the white pits. Somewhere in wine, pray.
-
OK, you must got the wrong guy. OK, But you know what's amazing?
-
Even though Gideon was afraid and fearful, Gideon means Are
-
you ready for us? Gideon means warrior.
-
My God, my God said this is awesome.
-
The one who cuts down, referring to cutting down idols.
-
Oh, Hallelujah. And so God has put destiny in
-
his identity. Can you say I mean somebody.
-
OK, are you with me? Right.
-
Lean in and grab this word, OK today.
-
Because listen, God. When he speaks, he speaks
-
prophetically. God speaks to you where you are
-
going. Come on, you're getting this
-
because God speaks to you where you are called to be, OK?
-
And he calls him murder. Because listen, God is not
-
intimidated by your insecurities, by your past.
-
He's not insecure. He's he's not intimidated by
-
your past failures, not even your excuses, OK.
-
And God says mighty warrior. And when God says mighty
-
warrior, he's pulling into your true identity of who you really
-
are. When he scores mighty warrior,
-
he pulls on the courage, the strength, the anointing that
-
he's putting you before you even pour my gun.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. So yes, you may feel the
-
circumstance. You may feel small, but God
-
calls you significant. You may feel defeated, but God
-
calls you victorious. OK, you may feel unqualified,
-
but God calls you chosen. Somebody shot Hallelujah, Rory
-
to God. So Gideon comes up with all
-
these excuses, OK. And this I you know, I'm the
-
spoilest, I'm the weakest. I'm not your man.
-
I'm the wrong, you know, you've got the wrong guy.
-
Yeah. It's like his reply shows he's
-
low self esteem, he's low self view of himself.
-
I'm weak, I'm spoiled. That's how he is, he And so he
-
says Judges 615. Gideon replied.
-
But how can I say visual? My clan is the weakest in
-
Manasseh. I am the least in my family.
-
And so yes, he was saying anything.
-
Listen, hold. OK?
-
I I am not warrior material, OK? I am the weakest.
-
I am swole. You've got the wrong guy.
-
Yeah, OK. But God doesn't agree with his
-
insecurities. God doesn't say, OK, yes,
-
Gideon, OK, you are right. You are too small, you are too
-
weak. You're from the smallest family.
-
No, God comes and he said, I will be with you and you will
-
win. Then you will strike down all
-
those Midianites. You'll strike down all those
-
enemies. My God, that's the God we serve.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God, while some of you
-
are in a wine press pit, you have been hiding, living below
-
your calling, OK, living, just ducking from your destiny and so
-
hiding away, trying to survive another day.
-
But God is stepping into your pits.
-
He's stepping into your wine press, your situation, your
-
family, and he's calling you out.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah. OK, because that voice that says
-
you too small, that voice that says you are just a nobody, that
-
voice that says you cannot do it or you just feel insignificant,
-
you are not enough. That's the voice of fear.
-
The voice of the Father says you are stronger than you think.
-
What do you push higher than this place?
-
You are stronger than you think. You are stronger than you think.
-
You are stronger than you think. Hallelujah, somebody.
-
Let's declare this out there. I'll say I am God, says I am
-
God. I am a mighty warrior.
-
I am stronger than I think. Give God some praise, somebody
-
this month. Hallelujah.
-
That's in me here today to tell you that you are stronger than
-
you think. You are stronger than you think.
-
You are stronger than you think about church.
-
You are stronger. You are stronger than you think.
-
Tell your neighbor you are stronger than you think.
-
Thank you, Lord, you are stronger than you think.
-
That's the word from heaven. And so when I read about the
-
story of Gideon hiding in the wide priest, it reminded me of
-
another unlikely hero, a 26 year old coal miner working in the
-
mines by the name of Evan Roberts.
-
Nineteen O 4 from a small town with waves.
-
Oh yes, my cards anointing is at this place now.
-
He wasn't a preacher. He wasn't famous.
-
He was a shy quiet guy if most of his time spent most of his
-
time on the ground 13 years pray Lord bend me now that night a
-
small parity presence of God comes strong presence of the law
-
and he knew he cannot stay in hiding anymore.
-
He knew the days are over no longer stay he did.
-
He knew God has awakened it go and shake a nation.
-
Well that is the word at all. And so God told them to wake in
-
a nation. And so when a man or a woman
-
step out of a wine place, anointed of God, anything is
-
possible. Within months over 100,000
-
people gave their life to Jesus. We're talking about whales,
-
100,000 people. OK listen, cry and drop so much
-
the the pups shut down. OK, listen, this is documented
-
in Wales. The PUP shot down the crime drop
-
so much that the policemen, they formed their own gospel players
-
because there was nothing else for them to do.
-
Nothing. Else the judges had no cases.
-
The crime drop 0 crime. Okay, listen, the sporting
-
matches was cancelled. Please read out this is
-
documentation. The football matches were
-
cancelled. Sorry footballers, but listen,
-
let me just be honest, that's what happened in revival.
-
The football matches were cancelled because there was
-
nobody in the stadium because the people were in church.
-
Oh, she oh listen, I love I sports, but nothing comes close
-
to Jesus. OK, this is just.
-
This is the revival in Wales, the Wales Revival.
-
And you know, the, the, the miners, the coal miners, their
-
language got so cleaned up. So what happened?
-
Was the pit ponies in the mines? They had to retrain the pit
-
ponies to learn the new commands because they put planers used to
-
understand that bleep bleep, bleep, bleep, bleep.
-
But then they're born again and safe and their language has
-
changed. People got born again and safe.
-
They had to retrain the pit ponies.
-
Do you understand that? You she.
-
That's a wild survival. Come on, somebody.
-
It's time for the UK. Somebody said he signed to the
-
UK. Come on.
-
Come on, somebody. It's time.
-
It's time you listen. Evan Roberts didn't start in a
-
pulpit. He started the wipers in the
-
mines, the coal mines. OK.
-
God freezed his heart but removed the chuff of unbelief
-
out of his heart. And a warrior emerged that could
-
change and shake a nation. Hallelujah, God can do it again.
-
Somebody come on. If God could take a coal miner
-
in Wales and use him to turn a nation upside down, God can take
-
you and turn your street, your region, your school, your inner
-
praise upside down, your city upside down.
-
Come on, somebody, you ready for the Bible?
-
We could do this. And I hear the Spirit of God.
-
He's saying that there's kittens in this room.
-
Do you have been hidden, overlooked, underestimated even
-
by yourself? But I hear the Spirit of God.
-
He's saying the Lord is with you, mighty warrior, this, this
-
the seated in your spirit tonight made that word from
-
heaven. Somebody shot Hallelujah.
-
The Lord is with you, almighty warrior.
-
The Lord is with. You come by, tell your neighbor,
-
say the Lord is with you, mighty warrior.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Lord is with you.
-
Yeah, yeah. Declare that and prophesied that
-
every someone's life has said the Lord is with you, mighty
-
warrior. This is your moment, Church, the
-
same God. Who?
-
Called Gideon out of the wine place is calling you.
-
The same God, the same anointing, the same spirit of
-
revival that fell in Wales, that same spirit is here.
-
This place calling us. He's calling you.
-
He's calling the Gideons. He's calling you out.
-
Can I preach this somebody? Because you came in as weeds
-
feeling crushed. You are walking out of this
-
places break. Oh, you're walking out of break.
-
You might have feel like we've been crushed in your workplace
-
in your future. You're walking out here today as
-
bread. Really.
-
That's going to feed nations, nations.
-
Just nations. I see why the warriors in front
-
of me. Are you ready for this church?
-
Because listen when the Angel of the Lord.
-
Cheered up and that Angel of God appeared on the Gideon.
-
It wasn't just little chat, chat, small talk, little casual.
-
That was a divine commissioning. Oh, Hallelujah.
-
And now this way it happened not on the mountainsop where
-
everything was great in Gideon's life, everything was good and
-
everything it happened in the. Wine press, the freshing floor.
-
OK, that is a place of sifting. OK, it's a place where that was
-
useful is separated. What holds you back?
-
That's the place of a fishing floor.
-
OK, so it's a place of refining where God prepares something for
-
his purpose. It's a fishing floor moment.
-
It's a season where God comes and he cuts things away.
-
He cuts away relationships. He cuts things steps away.
-
Insecurity, doubt, fear, unbelief.
-
He cuts those things out of our lives.
-
Why? Because you cannot carry the
-
chaff into the old chuff into a new calling.
-
You cannot hold out to Mr. This crock give you the.
-
Growth. You don't want to be stuck.
-
We thank God for refining moments when we are refined, we
-
cuts and strips away the things because the old stuff cannot go
-
into the new calling. And I don't want to be stuck
-
forever in the same mountain and on the same white place.
-
No, we want to move on. We want to go on to the
-
battlefield. OK, so that's preparation.
-
So before he sends you, he shares you.
-
OK. Before Gideon faced the
-
Midianite army, God first gave him an assignment.
-
And this is a private assignment.
-
It was a private assignment to set him up the stage for public
-
victory. And God says to get in key and
-
listen. I want you to go and cut off the
-
altar, your father's altar, to bow.
-
So listen, I want you to go and peel with the idols in your
-
family. Listen, this is this is the word
-
of the law, OK, Because didn't first had to deal with the idol
-
stronghold in his family before he can break the stronghold in
-
his nation. Are you getting this?
-
Are you with free somebody? OK.
-
And so the Church, we must first take down the idols of
-
compromise and of unbelief in our hearts before we can.
-
Deliver a nation. Hallelujah.
-
And so before Gideon fought Midian, he first fought the
-
compromise at home. OK.
-
And so before revival can flow in your city, revival must first
-
it has to flow through your house.
-
Somebody give God some flesh. Are you getting this?
-
OK, so every public victory, OK, every public revival or
-
breakthrough or move of God is first born within a.
-
Private place of surrender. I met somebody.
-
OK, now can we go a little deeper?
-
OK, let's go for this. Because Gideon asked God for two
-
confirming sights right now. The first one, remember Gideon
-
laid down a fleece before the Lord.
-
Right now, I want you to see this in Judges City 636 for
-
those of you don't want to check up on the documentaries or on
-
there right now. It says here Gideon.
-
Say to God, if you will say this role by my hand as you promised.
-
Look, I will place a wool fleece on the freshing floor.
-
If there's dew onion on the flesh and all the ground is dry.
-
OK, Now did you catch that dew on the flesh?
-
I want you to see that. OK, dew on the freeze because
-
the next morning the fleece. Was soaked with dew, OK, so much
-
so heavily that it could run out of bowl full of water.
-
That bowl full. That is a prophetic picture of
-
the anointing A. Favour OK dew from heaven
-
soaking a surrendered. Life.
-
Did you get that that's. When you when somebody comes and
-
you surrender your life and you say God, I surrender, I give you
-
Ioffer it up. That is a surrendered life.
-
God yes, my life. Yes, my offering I give you.
-
I surrender everything. I place my all, I give it to
-
you. When you lay down your life in
-
surrender, you give your life over to God, and you say, God,
-
soak what I give you. Soak this offering.
-
My body is a living God. Will soak you.
-
God will trace you until overflowing.
-
Come on, it's a surrender of light, and you become a pole
-
full of blessing, of favour in the hand of God.
-
Amen. And so Gideon did not hold the
-
fleece, but for himself he laid it down.
-
He laid it way before the Lord in the wine praise.
-
That's listen, revival comes. It starts at an altar.
-
Revival always starts at an altar, a place of surrender, the
-
wine place, the freshening. For that was Gideon's altar of
-
exchange, his fear for God's boldness, his weakness for God's
-
strength, his doubt for God's confirmation.
-
So it's. Gideon's altar of exchange.
-
Amen. So church, we are not called.
-
To live dry, we are called to live dressed.
-
I meant some of you as we just want God to confirm his word,
-
but we've not laid down anything.
-
OK, it takes a surrendered life. The fleece had to be placed, had
-
to be laid, had to be placed before it could be sought.
-
You see that? OK, so Gideon's first.
-
The fleece. The first one was personal, but
-
now he was not satisfied with that confirmation just to stay
-
with him alone. So he pray now.
-
The second one he prays again. Judges 6 verse 39.
-
And now let the crown be covered with deep OK.
-
Gideon understood something very, very powerful, that if he
-
was going to go into battle, he did not want to go in the only
-
one carrying the anointing, but the whole army to be anointed.
-
Somebody's getting this, somebody's getting this today.
-
The whole Army to carry the anointing OK, he didn't want
-
just to be the only one carrying the anointing if he was going
-
into but but the whole army OK also needs to be anointed.
-
The army also needs to be drenched to revival is about a
-
whole company of believers saturated with the same annoyed
-
the same spirit of God, the whole come on somebody the whole
-
company of believers OK, filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
Gideon was saying Lord if if you are really with.
-
US. Then soak the ground, let all
-
the people that's going to go in battle with me also be anointed.
-
Everyone of them this fighting going into battle also be
-
anointed and let the ground be wet and let them carry what's on
-
me. Therefore we carry what you
-
place on me. Oh I feel this transferable and
-
waiting in this place this morning.
-
Oh, I feel this anointing and it starts for the ball and that's
-
what Kitty say. What's on me?
-
I want on the Army, not just on one.
-
I just 111. To.
-
Fight the the entire army. And so the next morning the
-
ground was wet and heaven was showing Gideon.
-
Oh yes, I am drenching the whole army with my presence.
-
Oh yes, I'm drenching. That whole army.
-
Come on, somebody. Oh yes, that's right, Kitty, and
-
I am showing you this time I am telling you, this is not just
-
your battle. Oh, kidding you.
-
This is our battle. Oh, the battle belongs to the
-
Lord. This is our battle.
-
Hallelujah. This is our battle.
-
Somebody shot Hallelujah. Listen, it reminds me of Numbers
Numbers 11 chapter mention
-
Chapter 11. When Moses got Veda, he was so
-
tired and exhausted. He really struggled and he was
-
so overwhelmed by the weight of leading Israel.
-
And God says surround yourself, bring in 70 others and I will
-
put what's on you. Moses, the same Spirit that's on
-
you, I'll put it on 70 others. It's transferable.
-
I'll put the annoy, I'll put in, Oh my God, I'll put that same
-
spirit that's on you and I'll share it among seventy others so
-
that they can help you carry the murder.
-
This entire 100 Bible is not just one person behind the pool,
-
but it's going to take the whole army.
-
It's going to take the every person.
-
God is rising up an army, Hallelujah.
-
And so God says, listen, I'm going to put that what's on you,
-
Moses? I'm going to put it on.
-
So that means what was on Moses was so abundant, What was on
-
Moses was so potent, so overflow, that God could share
-
it in 70 others 70 other ways. That's how strongly I was on
-
Moses that God could spill it over.
-
Listen, just that's what God wants to put on your life.
-
It's the saturation anointing of overflowing spilling over onto
-
your family, your workplace, your Reacher, the area where you
-
are. Come on, it's an overflow
-
anointing, overflowing. That's the anointing God wants
-
to put on you. It's an overflow which spills
-
over into your families, teams, generations.
-
I believe God is releasing an anointing into your circle, your
-
spouses, your families, your children.
-
It's overflowing, it's contagious.
-
It's spread like wildfire faster than any COVID, flu, or any
-
fire. It spreads faster.
-
It spreads faster like wildfire. Yes, raising a people around you
-
who will carry the same fire, the same vision in that company,
-
in that business, what God has called to that ministry, the
-
same courage people around you. Not anointing that God placed on
-
you to overflow. It's an overflowing anointing.
-
It's an overflowing anointing. Are you with me?
-
Yeah. Now I want to show you something
-
amazing. This is one of my favorite
-
verses in Gideon's story, Judges 6, verse 34, it says here.
-
And the Spirit of the Lord came on Gideon.
-
Now the Hebrew, this is amazing because it literally means that
-
the spirit of the Lord drove himself with Gideon.
-
OK, that's powerful. I love that because think about
-
it, because God didn't just put an anointing on Gideon, but God
-
put Gideon on the. Spirit of God.
-
Stating to Gideon, my God, it's like, let me give you an
-
example. It's like someone that puts on a
-
garment like a like a cloak. So for instance, let me show
-
you. So they say, I go.
-
I represent the Spirit of God. This is Gideon, the Spirit of
-
God, the bow, says Cubs. Clove himself with Gideon.
-
I'm going to weigh this into battle and the Spirit of God and
-
Gideon and the Spirit of God says, right, I'm going to wear
-
this into battle. Gideon, Ayuri, let's go.
-
You're getting this. Yeah.
-
OK. So when God wears you, it means
-
God thinks through you. When God wears you, it means
-
that God speaks through your mouth, He walks through your
-
feet. When God wears you, when God
-
comes and he puts you on, it means.
-
He flows through your hands. Be healed in the mighty name.
-
What? Jesus?
-
Christ, it's for God stepped into gate when revival breaks
-
out, it's because the Spirit of God have found a people that's
-
willing to be his comet, willing to be his comet.
-
And he's not. Looking for a perfect foot is
-
looking for a willing foot. Gideon was not perfect, but he
-
was available, Yeah. Gideon was a.
-
Farmer. OK, not, not a fighter, but when
-
the Spirit clothed himself, the Spirit of God comes clothed
-
himself with Gideon. The fearful farmer becomes a
-
fearless general, killed and rotten of a space.
-
I feel the anointing. I feel the Spirit of God
-
searching, rising, awakening. Oh, Hallelujah.
-
He's searching. He's looking for Guineans right
-
now. Men and women.
-
He's looking for people right here.
-
The Holy Spirit is asking. He's looking.
-
Well, you wait. And so we just say, yes, Lord
-
Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, yes, way.
-
Me. I will be your garment.
-
I will be, I will be yours. And that's that's what happens.
-
Can we give God some praise? Yeah.
-
OK. Now let's turn to Judges 7.
-
And yes, we're engaged. Wealth.
-
Are you ready for wealth? How much can we take today?
-
How deep can we go? Because this is really where
-
it's get wild, OK? This is going to get really wild
-
because listen, if I was Gideon, OK, I would sort of expect God
-
now to write, OK, thanks God, we got this summon and all that.
-
I would start expecting God now to start building his arm and
-
start adding some numbers and all that.
-
God starts doing the opposite. OK.
-
I'm like, Lord, okay, are we going to build this?
-
Are we going to go? But it's still God starts
-
cutting away. Wow, starts cutting away, starts
-
stripping away, starts removing. Okay, start sending people.
-
Away. Wow, start sending people away.
-
Lord, I really need every soldier I really need.
-
That's why I thank God even in the beginning days when we
-
started this church, when I preached to one person, I
-
preached my heart on, when I preached to 5 to 100, when I
-
preached to in South Africa, I was at the Pretoria school.
-
I was understand there was hundreds of people criticized.
-
We I preached the heart. I preached with everything I've
-
got. Because I know God knows what
-
he's doing. And God says here and judge the
-
seven, he says, now announce to your army, the army.
-
Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount
-
Gilad, Right. OK.
-
And 22,000 people walked away that day.
-
Wow. Why?
-
Because of fear. OK, They're going to go in the
-
army. They're going to face an enemy
-
here, right? The problem with fear.
-
OK, it neutralized the power of God.
-
OK, so same packing Gohan 22,000 bit because it was a taste of
-
courage and they're going through these tests.
-
Now remember here comes the second test, Gideon Oscar for
-
Tuesdays and God says right, I'm going to tap with you through
-
Tuesdays. Now second test, take them to
-
the water and watch how they drink.
-
Watch how they drank the water. OK, because this taste now
-
Gideon took them through and now some knelt down and they put
-
their face in the water with no awareness.
-
So they dragged water. So they put their face in the
-
water with no awareness. That's the problem.
-
No awareness. OK, without awareness they
-
missed it. But then.
-
There's a group. They scooped the water.
-
They went, scooped the water to their mouth, eyes lit up, eyes
-
up there, eyes lifted up, alert, ready for they watching their
-
surroundings for any surprise attack.
-
And God says face your people because it's the taste of
-
readiness. God spoke to me.
-
He said the church needs to get ready.
-
This is the taste of readiness. Get ready.
-
It says here Judges 77 and the Lord said to Gideon, you have.
-
Too many men, I cannot deliver median into their hands or
-
Israel would boast against me and Israel would say, listen,
-
this is my own strength that has saved me.
-
And that's a very dangerous boasting when people say it's my
-
talent, my gifting. My dad got the victory and got
-
the breakthrough. Listen Church, I just want to
-
tell you that God is the only one that will get the glory to
-
God be the glory. Listen the 300 so there's 300
-
leftover. OK, so this is I want to go 1
-
back. So 300 it says 77300 men that
-
will save you and give them many lights into your hands.
-
Let all the others go home. That's Judges 7, seven.
-
So the 300, that's a prophetic picture of a time church that
-
God is raising up. A church that's alert, a church
-
that's ready, a church that's staying alert.
-
Eyes open, wide awake, weapons ready for what's coming.
-
OK, for the assignment. They stay alert.
-
This is not time for little casual Christianity, okay?
-
Like just like church on a Sunday.
-
This is not a time for just Luke warmers, okay.
-
This is a time for the church to be alive, to be on fire, a blaze
-
fervid, ready, okay, to be vigilance, a time to be ready.
-
So get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready.
-
Come on. Get ready, get ready.
-
Get ready, Get ready, Get ready. Come on, toast.
-
Get ready. I'm speaking that over your
-
line. I say get ready, Get ready, Get
-
ready. The mighty warriors.
-
Get ready. Come on.
-
Tell your neighbor. Get ready.
-
Go. Come on.
-
Get ready. Get ready, Get ready, Get ready.
-
Get ready. Get ready.
-
Get ready. Get ready.
-
Get ready. Get ready.
-
Get ready. Somebody get ready.
-
Shake your neighbors. I get ready.
-
Come on. Give them a start to say.
-
Let's say you got to be ready. We got ready.
-
Ready, ready, ready, ready, ready.
-
Come on, somebody shout. Get ready.
-
Come on, shut it again. Get ready.
-
Lovely. And so the time when the dust
-
settled, Gideon's army has literally gone from 32,000 to
-
300. OK, Can you imagine Gideon,
-
right? We had like 32,000 and now we
-
got like 300. And you know, we up against the
-
million eyes, my God, the million eyes, 135 a 135,000
-
enemies and we are 300. OK, if you do your maths, that
-
is 450 to 1:00. AM I right?
-
The ratio 450 to one with the yen, We're going to calculate
-
the right, OK. But listen, humanly speaking,
-
that's a suicide mission. OK, this o'clock is complete
-
suicide. Listen, you've got 400, so
-
132,000 so. But spiritually speaking, that's
-
a setup for God's glory. Yeah.
-
Because when the odds are stacked that high, OK, there's
-
no mistaking who gets the credit, OK, OK.
-
Yeah, yeah, there's no mistake. Listen, it's it's not going to
-
be, it's going to be God that will get the glory.
-
OK, Glory to God. Somebody shout glory to God.
-
Yeah. OK, Now it said there that.
-
My aunt straight has saved me. So listen, sometimes God will
-
reduce your numbers, your opportunities, your options, so
-
that when the victory comes, when the breakthrough comes,
-
there's no question, there is no undeniable that it.
-
Was him. This can only be God.
-
This can only be God. It was God.
-
It's pure God. It's not me.
-
It's not my talent. It's not my goodness.
-
It's not the It's God. It's the grace of God.
-
It's His. Somebody showed glory to God,
-
glory to come on, come on, glory, glory, glory to God.
-
Oh, glory to God. It's not me, it's not getting,
-
it's it's God. God will get the job done.
-
I've read the last chapter of the Bible.
-
We went and it's God's doing. God's got this over.
-
Pastor will look at the chaos, chaos in the world wars, rumors
-
of God's got this. God's the creator.
-
God is in control. He's large and in charge.
-
He knows exactly. What he's doing, he's the
-
highest creator of entire universe.
-
Nothing is so difficult for our Gulf.
-
And so Gideon, he was still struggling, but I love our God
-
how he helps Gideon. He had compassion on Gideon
-
because this is the first stop. Gideon has never LED an army
-
before, OK? And so God says, OK, get in.
-
This will help you. Go down to the enemy's camp and
-
hear what what your enemy is saying.
-
You're what the enemy is saying. So take your servant and go
-
down. And yet Gideon goes to the
-
servant. Slip down and the cover of
-
darkness creep close enough to over here, a conversation over
-
here, conversation in the enemy's camp.
-
OK, and so there's one Midianite, He's telling his
-
friend how God had given Midian, the Midianite and the whole camp
-
over into giddy attacks. And so isn't that amazing,
-
Church, that the enemy already knew they were defeated?
-
Come on, Isn't that amazing? The enemy already knew they were
-
defeated. The enemy already knew they were
-
defeated even before even one sword was lifted.
-
Even before the Battle War. You're getting this.
-
OK. What the enemy knows is Tommy
-
Short. He knows.
-
He's defeated. He knows.
-
But now, yes. The The thing is that the devil
-
knows sometimes. He knows more about your
-
potential, your calling, than you know.
-
That's why he works so hard to keep you locked in fear, OK?
-
Because if you ever believe what God says about you, if you ever
-
believe and realize and know that you are a mighty warrior,
-
you will be unstoppable. Come on, somebody give God some
-
prize. Hallelujah.
-
If you ever see yourself, you truly see yourself as a mighty
-
warrior, you will be unstoppable.
-
And so here's Gideon. He's struggling with insecurity,
-
wondering, can I really do this? And he's struggling.
-
But at the same time the enemy's struggling, the enemy's
-
dreaming, the enemy's whispering, you know if Gideon
-
shows up, we finished. And the enemy isn't panicked,
-
trembling, fear. Let me tell you, the forces of
-
darkness, they know about you. They know.
-
They know your name. They know you call it.
-
They know you're calling the forces of darkness.
-
They know you. They know your name.
-
And they panic, they trembling. They know.
-
They have seen how your prayers shake the heavens.
-
They've seen it. They know your name.
-
They know they see it. They have seen no worship.
-
The forces of darkness. The devil's a demon.
-
They have seen your worship. They have seen your.
-
Praise and your worship are shifter room.
-
They know you by now. They know they they trembling.
-
They fear because they have seen.
-
Like your obedience opens the windows of heaven.
-
They've seen this. The enemy is trembling.
-
The enemy's panic is afraid of you.
-
They've seen OK. And so the enemy already knows.
-
The devil knows it's over. He knows it's over.
-
He knows it's a fear. The cross sealed the victory.
-
You are not fighting for victory.
-
You are fighting for victory. The devil vows is over.
-
The church. Once the church, once the church
-
wins, we win. It's all throughout the Bible.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah. Yeah, we are winners more than
-
conquerors. The devil is defeated.
-
He's a defeated foe. He's scared.
-
He's in panic, running away. We are not in reaction.
-
We are. In fact, we are coming devil run
-
run devil we chasing the devil wait to kill this and get her
-
because when we show our peace gone.
-
Oh you don't understand people the authority and anointing that
-
you courage. You are stronger than you think
-
you are stronger than you think mighty warriors.
-
Now what's this in verse 15 it says when Gideon heard the dream
-
and its interpreter, he. Bowed down and worship.
-
Somebody say worship went back. It's like worship, worship
-
created to worship. That was his battle cry.
-
The praise and worship was his battle cry.
-
And so now Gideon's faith is alive, his courage, his his
-
faith is stirred up full of courage and he's 300 ready for
-
the battle. But then God's strategy doesn't
-
make any sense. It says here this 16 dividing
-
the 300 men in three companies. He plays trumpets and empty jars
-
in the hands of all the men with torches inside.
-
OK, let's be honest, if you are facing 135,000 soldiers, OK, You
-
want Spears, You want swords, You want OK?
-
No kidding torches. Sorry, but.
-
I'm just so close. Think of the heart.
-
God's just like, OK, that's tortures.
-
So there, there's a trumpet, there's a jar of torture.
-
Imagine this tree out. I was like, where's the swords?
-
Where's the Spears? Where's the Spears?
-
Listen, the king, you've got victory in God's Kingdom.
-
It doesn't come with natural weapons.
-
It comes from obedience to the voice of God.
-
You're in. Yeah, God's chose a strategy and
-
that would make it impossible for anyone else to get the glory
-
but him. Amen.
-
Glory to God. Somebody shout.
-
Glory to God. Glory to God.
-
Glory to God. God, God.
-
This isn't amazing. Strips him right down.
-
Cut it away. Trumpet now.
-
OK, Trumpet, Maybe just explain to you the.
-
The spiritual principle, Yeah, because the trumpet is a picture
-
of your praise, OK. And so the torch that speaks of
-
your testimony and the jaws, that's our lives that we carry
-
the treasure of Christ, the jaws of clay.
-
But the jaws of clay, remember, it needs to be broken if you
-
read the story for the light, the torch to shine, OK.
-
And so brokenness is very, very powerful, especially brokenness
-
in the hands of God for God's glory, where our jaws of clay
-
broken in God's hands. That is a powerful spiritual
-
weapon against darkness. OK.
-
And so this is how I fight my battles.
-
This is how I fight my battle. Battles.
-
Yeah. Because listen for the spirit of
-
heaviness put on the government of praise.
-
This is how I fight my battle. So sometimes God will ask you to
-
fight in a way that doesn't make sense.
-
Singing in the middle of a store, OK Giving when the
-
resources are low, forgiving when he seems unfair, OK.
-
But so it's our obedience that is the key to supernatural
-
breakthrough in our lives. And so at midnight years, Gideon
-
with his 300 army. And so they blew the trumpets.
-
And so they smashed the jars and lifted up the torches.
-
They gave the sound of a thunderous battle cry.
-
And so the midnight camp just goes into chaos, erupted in
-
chaos and confusion everywhere, and they turn on each other.
-
And so they Gideon's got the victory.
-
Somebody shall Hallelujah. This is how I fight our battle.
-
Come on, This is how we fight our battles.
-
This is how I fight my. But let's sing it together.
-
This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles.
-
This is how I fight my battles. This is our oh, come on, give
-
God the loudest prize. Come on, give him prize.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
-
Win your prize. The moment you prize, you are
-
confusing darkness. That's powerful.
-
Praise in your kitchen, praise in your loud, praise in your
-
car, praise at work. I go for walks and I praise and
-
I look at all the dog walkers and they're like, wow, that
-
guy's happy. I'm just praising my loud Yeah,
-
at the lake, at the bar where everyone's fishing.
-
Praise Jesus, My God, you just confuse the enemy.
-
The Father will come when the church learns to raise a sound
-
of praise. That is a weapon that is
-
powerful. Yeah.
-
When you hold up that testimony, the light of your testimony,
-
when we offer our jaws in brokenness in the hands of God,
-
when those three comes together, Oh my God, darkness scatters,
-
confusing the enemy, and the Bible will come.
-
Somebody said Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, revival
-
over the hill cry revival of Africa, the Bible.
-
Yes. Glory to God, that's when you
-
lift up a sound of praise or you scatter every enemy.
-
And so God is still calling kittens out of hiding, and he's
-
still taking people who feel small and overlooked to shake
-
nations. Let me tell you about one more
-
testimony. In 1966, a 22 year old young
-
lady, her names Jackie Pullinger, boarded a ship from
-
England to Hong Kong. She had no mission board, almost
-
no money, but she had a burning, fiery Commission from the Lord
-
and just conviction. And so the mission agency, they
-
told her, listen, you are too young, you are too
-
inexperienced. But she went anywhere.
-
And when she arrived, God LED her to no Loon Walled City.
-
And if you look, there's a movie in a documentary on this walled
-
city in Hong Kong as a city of crime, ruled by gangs, violence
-
on every corner. And so Jackie, she had no
-
resources, no strategy, no protection.
-
But when she started praising and worshipping in the streets,
-
preaching the simple gospel, and God used the spiritual powerful
-
weapons of praise and worship, and gang leaders surrendered
-
their lives to Jesus. And soon a whole community, a
-
former gang leader, started praising and worshipping Jesus
-
together. Hallelujah is powerful.
-
The city that was once famous for violence now began to hear
-
the sound of praise. This is how we fight our
-
battles. Hallelujah.
-
Just do you see, God took a young woman to push back
-
darkness in a city that is dangerous.
-
A 22 year old OK ex cat leaders my God, what kind of a God do we
-
serve If you could do that and he took that young lady 22 year
-
old sender from the UK to Hong Kong.
-
When you look at that, that wolf city, I reached it.
-
And So what God did, He frisked the fear out of her heart before
-
she goes. There's a chance you don't just
-
do this at home. I just you do it with the
-
anointing of the Holy Ghost. When God freshes and removes the
-
fear. And you guys know when we go to
-
Africa, these things, you go with the anointing of the Holy
-
Ghost. We don't play around with fear.
-
OK, God comes and he fresh the chuff.
-
He removes the unbelief, He removes the fear, and he sends
-
her into that battlefield as a warrior.
-
Warriors are brave. Warriors are courageous.
-
And she wrote a book chasing the dragon.
-
Oh, my God, Come on. There's a brave warriors.
-
God is raising brave warriors. We're chasing the Dragons.
-
OK, Hallelujah. And I believe God's looking for
-
jackies, Gideons in this room, those who have been hiding.
-
God is looking for those who've been hiding, those who've been
-
whispering. Lord, I am just too small.
-
I am too weak. I'm just young, I'm
-
inexperienced, I'm unqualified. But he's saying the Lord is with
-
you, mighty warrior. That is in the word of the Lord
-
today for you. The Lord is with you, mighty
-
warrior. Somebody shout Hallelujah.
-
And so if you could do that with a young lady, push that blood
-
darkness, what could he do with you?
-
You are stronger. Than you think you are stronger
-
than you think Turn closing. Gideon's story did not end in
-
the wine place. It did not end with him hiding
-
from the enemy. It did not end in him doubting
-
if God was worth it. It ended in a nation, was set
-
free. It ended in Levar.
-
That's how the state is. Yeah, in this.
-
Because he did. To believe what God said was
-
more than what fear said. OK, so God didn't bring you here
-
today to leave you the wine place.
-
He came to call you out to anoint you for battle, to send
-
you as the warrior you were mourned to be.
-
Amen. Let's all stand together.
-
Let's give God some praise in this place.
-
Let's stand to your feet. And so I'm here to tell you the
-
wine press season is over. You're stepping into your
-
Warrior season. It's time to rise, mighty
-
warrior. Take your place.
-
Come on now. Yes, maybe you're here today and
-
you have been hiding and you've been hiding in the wine press,
-
pressed down by fear or doubt or the whites of life.
-
But today the Angel of the Lord is here, and he's calling.
-
You now maybe you've been praying for family and yes,
-
that's good or the workplace or city, but God says the answer
-
begins with yes. So if you're ready to leave the
-
wine press, if you are ready to step into your warrior calling,
-
if that is you and this word is stirring in your heart, I want
-
us to respond by raise your hands right where you are if
-
that's you. And Father, I pray for your
-
people in the name of Jesus, Lord.
-
Let them be. Anointed for battle, Lord, I
-
declare that every lie of the enemy is broken off.
-
The chaff of unbelief is removed and freshed away.
-
The pure wheat of faith it remains.
-
I call forth the warrior within them.
-
To arise, they will no longer hide in the wine press.
-
Fun, fear and change, but I declare that this is how we
-
fight our battles. Hallelujah, Our prize and our
-
worship is how we fight our battles.
-
So mighty warriors, be commissioned, be released, be
-
sent forth to go forth anointed, empowered, in the mighty name of
-
Jesus. Somebody shot Hallelujah.
-
Now let's declare out loud together.
-
I am who God says I am, a mighty warrior.
-
Fear will not hold me. I stepped out of the wine press
-
into my calling. I am anointed for this hour.
-
The Lord is with me. I will see the victory.
-
I will be out. Come on, somebody give God
-
surprise. So walk out of that doors today,
-
OK, like a mighty warrior, Amen. Now, if you've never given your
-
life to Jesus or you've drifted away from the Lord and you need
-
to come back, this is your moment.
-
Don't wait another day, don't hesitate.
-
So if that's you today, if you are ready to say yes, I want to
-
pray with you. If you want to invite Jesus to
-
come into your heart, into your life, just raise your hand.
-
If that's you, I see that hand. Thank you.
-
Let's all pray together. Jesus, I invite you to come into
-
my life to be my Lord and my Saviour.
-
I repent of my sins. Come into my heart.
-
I give you my life. Follow me with your spirit from
-
this day forward. I am yours in Jesus name.
-
Hallelujah, Christ. God save you.
-
Pray that queer heaven is rejoicing.
-
Thank you, Moises worship team. We're going to praise and
-
worship God, and we're going to pray for mighty warriors to be
-
further commissioned into God's battle.
