  1. So Are you ready? Because we are going to go

  2. straight into the Word of God. God has given us word from the

  3. book of Nehemiah, chapter 8, and it's got a day.

    Nehemiah 8 chapter mention

  4. I'll have the Scriptures. I'll put it on me on the screen

  5. for US. Nehemiah Schmatter 8 Whoo Hoo.

  6. I feel the joy in this place, right?

  7. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've got some radical, joyful

  8. people. Yeah.

  9. This is a festive celebration, my God.

  10. Hallelujah. So let's pick it up there from

  11. verse 9. And it says then this day is

  12. holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or win.

  13. Verse 10 Nehemiah said go and enjoy choice food, sweet drinks

  14. and center to those who have nothing prepared.

  15. This day is holy to our Lord Hallelujah.

  16. That sounds like a holy celebration.

  17. Do not grieve for the joy of the Lord is your praying Hallelujah.

  18. Let's just by Father, we thank you for this word of

  19. celebration. Holy Spirit annoying my lips

  20. open our hearts. Let the rivers of joy flow in

  21. this place. Flow in every heart through US.

  22. Oh Lord have your way Holy Spirit release fresh strength.

  23. Oh, fresh joy in this meeting today.

  24. And we give you praise in advance of what you're about to

  25. do in this place. And all of God's people shout,

  26. Amen. Put your hands together and

  27. reprise. OK, so our scripture here today

  28. from the book of Nehemiah Chattai, God's people, the

  29. Israelites, they have just come back from exile, the Babylonian

  30. captivity. And so they back and they have

  31. just rebuild the walls. OK, so the city walls they were

  32. rebuild, but the problem is their hearts were still broken.

  33. So they back in the city, yes, the city is standing, but their

  34. hearts are still heavy. And so God raised up Nehemiah to

  35. rebel and to restore what was broken.

  36. And so then we see here just to give you this verse in context,

  37. is that Ezra the high priest stood up and he read out the

  38. book of the law. And so as he read out the word

  39. of the law, what happens is that the conviction fell on the

  40. people. And so they start.

  41. The tears started streaming on their faces because they realize

  42. how far they have drifted. And so right, they're in the

  43. middle of they weeping and they crying and they saw Nehemiah

  44. stood up and Nehemiah interrupted and he said, listen,

  45. do not mourn. Do not grieve.

  46. This is a holy day. It is a time to celebrate.

  47. And then he says this powerful statement because and this is

  48. the revelation, because the joy of the Lord is your strength.

  49. Somebody shout Hallelujah. I feel like preaching here

  50. today. Are you ready?

  51. Somebody can I preach this because here is Nehemiah.

  52. He interrupted. They sadness, they crying, they

  53. tears. He interrupted and he gave them

  54. permission on the holy day to celebrate, to have a joyous

  55. festive celebration. Somebody shout, celebrate.

  56. Come on, try to celebrate. Tell your neighbors.

  57. Celebrate. Yeah.

  58. And so Nehemiah stood up, and he said something that shifted the

  59. entire atmosphere shifted what was going on?

  60. And he was saying anything. Listen, do not camp in guilt.

  61. Now is not the time to stay stuck in a place of sorrow.

  62. Do not live with the weights of the past, because this is a day

  63. of celebration. This is a day that the Lord has

  64. made. And he goes on and he says, the

  65. joy of the Lord is your strength.

  66. Are you getting this somebody? Are you receiving the word

  67. today? OK.

  68. You see, this was not a time to camp out at guilt.

  69. It was a time to step into celebration.

  70. This was a time to step into greater grace.

  71. OK? Listen, this was not a funeral.

  72. This was a homecoming, OK? And so this time of celebration,

  73. Nehemiah understood this revelation, this principle, and

  74. that's why you were saying this joyous feast of celebration,

  75. relation equals strength. The joy of the Lord is your

  76. strength. Somebody say that the joy of the

  77. Lord is my strength. So I say it again, the joy of

  78. the Lord is my strength. I want you to grab that and get

  79. that in your spirit today. Hallelujah.

  80. OK, Now that word strength, in the Hebrew, it is maozed.

  81. So it means a fortress. It means a safe place, a

  82. stronghold. So it's a place of safety.

  83. So joy isn't just a flimsy feeling.

  84. Joy is a fortress, OK? It's something that God bolts

  85. around your heart and your mind. Joy is like a shield.

  86. It's a protective shield around you, keeping you protected

  87. against discouragement, despair, and defeat.

  88. OK, and so when you're Maya explained the word of the law to

  89. them, I want you to go and read this whole chapter in context as

  90. well. You explained it to the people

  91. very clearly so that they could understand.

  92. Then something shifted when they finally got it, when they

  93. understood the word of the law, something changed.

  94. And what happened? They tears turned into dancing,

  95. they mourning turned into feasting and the entire thing

  96. shifted around and what happened?

  97. The people broke loose and they ate and they drank and they

  98. shared their food and they started with a celebration, a

  99. festive celebration after they got the revelation what Nehemiah

  100. released. And I trust God to date that,

  101. that some revelation will hit your life.

  102. But that revelation that the joy of the Lord is your strength

  103. will hit you and you will start celebrating and feasting like

  104. never before in your life. Because it's time for the

  105. Christian Church to celebrate. The days are over of mourning

  106. and crying, and so it's time for the church to rise victorious

  107. and celebrate more than the world.

  108. The Christians know how to party and to celebrate.

  109. Hallelujah. And so this is what the Bible

  110. says. They celebrate it and listen, I

  111. love this work because it says they celebrate it not just

  112. little loop or little flaky. They celebrate it with great

  113. joy. Somebody say great joy.

  114. Now let me read it to you. It says here in verse 12.

  115. Then all the people went away to eat and drink to same portions

  116. of food and celebrate. Somebody shall celebrate us with

  117. great joy because they now understood the words that had

  118. been made known to them. Do you understand this church?

  119. Once they got the revelation, once they got the Word, and that

  120. is this celebration. Now I want you to see Heaven's

  121. order, because there is order of flow, how things flow according

  122. to the book of Nehemiah. The first thing is understanding

  123. the word of the Lord, that once they understood the Word, joy

  124. rises. Once the joy rises, strength

  125. comes. When the strength comes, the

  126. victory hollow. Somebody shout Hallelujah.

  127. Judge, listen. Joy is not optional.

  128. Joy is a fortress. It is a strategy.

  129. It's not what you feel when everything is good.

  130. Joy is not what you just feel when life is all perfect.

  131. No, joy is what God gives you so that you can walk through the

  132. difficulty, walk through the storms of life with strength.

  133. That's the power of joy. Now Nehemiah made that clear to

  134. the people. Listen and he said and explain

  135. joy equals strength. Joy is strength, and that's what

  136. I want you to get, because joy is how you keep on going when

  137. you feel tight. And so joy is like the

  138. thermostat of your spur. Now, let me just tell you the

  139. difference between a thermostat and a thermometer.

  140. OK? A thermometer reflects the

  141. temperature, right? So that's a thermometer.

  142. It reflects the temperature. So it tells you how hot or how

  143. cold the environment. That's a thermometer.

  144. But what's different between a thermostat?

  145. A thermostat sets it. OK, somebody, you're getting

  146. this because joy makes you a thermostat.

  147. It sets the tongue. That's what joy will do.

  148. So when life gets stormy and difficult and challenging, OK,

  149. you don't reflect what's going on the outside.

  150. You don't reflect the stormy and the difficulty because you set

  151. the tongue. That's what joy will.

  152. It sets the tongue. OK, somebody's getting it.

  153. That's what a thermostat and hug you phrased about your city.

  154. That's the tone, that's the atmosphere.

  155. And so the economy may be cold, the news may be stormy,

  156. difficult challenges on the outside, but on the inside you

  157. set your atmosphere. You set the atmosphere, right?

  158. So instead of it is cold out there, I'm feeling down and I'm

  159. feeling miserable. Now you declare that God is

  160. good, God is faithful, God's blessing.

  161. This is the day that the Lord has met.

  162. We will rejoice and be glad. And so you set it to, yes, I

  163. will celebrate regardless of what's going on around us in the

  164. world, in the situations on the news, you said.

  165. And so the bottom line is, listen, you can't not always

  166. control what is going on around you, cannot control the people

  167. around you, can't control everybody or everything around

  168. you. But by the spirit, by the joy,

  169. by the famous, you can control what's within you.

  170. You can set it in you. You can set that.

  171. And so when you set a thermostat of joy and you set your joy,

  172. when you do that, then strength comes and then the victory

  173. follows. Somebody shout Hallelujah.

  174. You know, I read about this marathon runner and he collapsed

  175. just near the finish line. His muscles just go away.

  176. His party just said there's no way.

  177. But then when that happened was he crawled through the finish

  178. line, He crawled across the line.

  179. And so later he said my strength was gone.

  180. My physical natural strength was gone.

  181. But the joy of finishing carried me through.

  182. The joy of finishing. Come on, somebody carried me

  183. through. That's what he said, OK.

  184. And so the joy of finishing now, that's what the Bible means when

  185. it says that the joy of the Lord is your strength, OK?

  186. And so joy carries you when your natural abilities runs out.

  187. Did you hear that? Joy carries you when your

  188. natural talents and your natural strength and natural abilities

  189. runs out. Joy will carry you through the

  190. situation. And so Nehemiah's message is

  191. still speaking to us. Don't wait until everything

  192. starts. Don't wait until life is

  193. perfect. Rejoice now.

  194. Choose joy now. Choose to celebrate now.

  195. Come on, somebody now, joy. The thing is, it's not tight and

  196. connected to circumstances. Joy is connected to Christ.

  197. Can you say, I mean somebody? And so Nehemiah told the people

  198. to stop crying, to stop mourning and weeping.

  199. Do not mourn, but go and feast, go and celebrant, go and enjoy.

  200. Go and have a great blessed life.

  201. And he give them permission because he's saying this is the

  202. revelation that we're getting today, that the joy of the Lord

  203. is your strength. Now, God was not minimizing

  204. their time of tears, OK? He did not minimize.

  205. There is a time of weeping. There is a time of sorrow and

  206. crying and mourning. So He did not minimize that, OK?

  207. Listen, conviction of the Word, that is, and we see that in this

  208. text. It is vitally important, OK?

  209. But the problem is you cannot stay there.

  210. This is the problem with so many Christians today, that they stay

  211. going around the same mountain of feeling the failure and the

  212. mistake over and over, repeating it over and over.

  213. OK, so we cannot stay and park there and stay and feel

  214. convicted and sorrow and cry over the mistake that I've made

  215. five years ago and still crying. Other things that happened 10

  216. years ago, still going to No, we cannot stay in the same place.

  217. At some point, the crying needs to stop.

  218. OK? I feel sad.

  219. I feel sorry for what I've done. I apologize.

  220. I'm so sorry, brother, sister, I'm sorry for what's happened,

  221. what's done. But then you've got to move on.

  222. We don't camp there and cry for weeks and days and months and go

  223. around the same mountain. Families and situations in

  224. workplaces, marriages, wherever. We move on from that.

  225. We ask forgiveness, we repent. The conviction was they said so,

  226. but we move. So we have got to, at some

  227. point, move on to celebration. That's where a lot of Christians

  228. are struggling. They get caught up with tilt and

  229. shame and condemnation. But it's time to come off that.

  230. Nehemiah is saying now is the time to celebrate.

  231. It's time to move on because if you don't celebrate, you'll

  232. never access the strength that comes with the joy.

  233. Somebody, come on short. Hallelujah.

  234. Oh, I feel annoyed to you, this place.

  235. I feel the Princess of God in this place.

  236. Hallelujah. Are you with me?

  237. Somebody? It's like a wedding feast, OK?

  238. The whole wedding is ready. The food's prepared, the party,

  239. the excitement, the music's playing.

  240. Everything is excitement. Big, huge wedding.

  241. I know weddings because my mom, but she's wedding into the.

  242. So this massive, big wedding is ready.

  243. And then the case are weeping and crying because you know

  244. their shoes are dirty from the journey to the wedding.

  245. That's what happens when we keep on mourning and crying over the

  246. same things. We keep on going around the

  247. sunny mountain, keep on awning and crying when God has already

  248. dealt with that. That's what happens when we keep

  249. on crying and mourning and crying.

  250. But God has already dealt with that.

  251. God has already forgiven. God has already wiped that,

  252. throtted it out, removed. They cancel it.

  253. The Bible says he's already moved that as far as the east is

  254. from the West. He's already dealt with that.

  255. So why now we should be still carrying on crying.

  256. Why should we still feeling sorry and what?

  257. It's time to celebrate, It's time to move on.

  258. Hallelujah. And God sent me here to David.

  259. This word God said, tell my people it's time to celebrate.

  260. I'm coming with the word of the Lord tonight.

  261. Stretch. I'm just giving you the word of

  262. the Lord of God gave it to me and I just want to give it to

  263. the way that the Lord gave it to me.

  264. And God sent me here today and said that heaven is not hosting

  265. a funeral. Heaven is hosting A feast.

  266. I'm going to say that again because that is so good.

  267. Heaven is not hosting a funeral. Heaven is hosting A feast.

  268. Somebody celebrate. Somebody shouts celebrate,

  269. celebrate. And parents, you understand

  270. this. You know when you give your

  271. child a birthday present, wrap the birthday present, put the

  272. wrapping on, look beautiful. Give the birthday present to

  273. your child. And instead of smiling and thank

  274. you, they're crying, crying, sorrow Corning.

  275. Oh no, I'm not good enough for this present.

  276. I don't deserve this present. It doesn't make sense.

  277. Listen and you tell your child. Listen child, I'm not giving you

  278. this present because you deserve it.

  279. I'm not giving you this present because you have now not been

  280. naughty or you've been a good boy.

  281. I'm giving you this present because I love you.

  282. I love you, Mommy and daddy, we love you.

  283. God loves you. Hallelujah.

  284. We're the children of God. Somebody shout Hallelujah, Glory

  285. be to God. So it's not because you earned,

  286. it's because of the love of God. So that's what God says to us.

  287. God is saying stop crying over who you know.

  288. Stop crying over the mistakes in the failure.

  289. Start celebrating. God is saying start celebrating

  290. with who I am. And that's powerful because we

  291. should be celebrating how good our God is, how amazing parties.

  292. Oh God, you are glorious. You are awesome.

  293. You are Somebody shout Hallelujah.

  294. God is good. God is good.

  295. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hallelujah.

  296. So the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt, but God was building

  297. joy walls on the inside. Joy walls.

  298. Somebody say joy walls. OK, Because without joy a heart

  299. is like a city. Without walls, it is vulnerable.

  300. OK, so it's wide open to discouragement, despair, and

  301. defeat. Now listen, you can have talent.

  302. You can have money, you can have jobs, you can have

  303. opportunities, but without choice, you're vulnerable.

  304. Without choice, celebration, you are vulnerable.

  305. You're because The thing is with choice, joy is a fortress.

  306. Joy is a safe place. It's protection and joy.

  307. Come on, somebody. So this week when you spend time

  308. on the word and you read the Bible, OK, When you read the

  309. word, celebrate it. Yes, when you read that

  310. scripture, when you yell or speak to you celebrate it, it,

  311. show it and you speak it when you yell, I promise from the

  312. Lord. I mean, don't just nod, OK?

  313. Read the Bible in a little scripture again.

  314. Yeah, Rejoice. Wow, what a loss of word from

  315. God. If I can read John 316, I've

  316. read it out of thousands of thousands.

  317. So I've read through it so many times, but it's still fresh.

  318. It never gets old. It never gets old.

  319. It's never gets old. I would read that same very

  320. verse over again, John 360 for God.

  321. So love the world and I would read it and I would still get

  322. excited. Yes, you get excited about the

  323. work. So this week when you spend time

  324. in the work throughout your day, take 10 second praise breaks.

  325. I love taking praise breaks. You know, when you take a praise

  326. break, listen, you just pull joy walls.

  327. When you take these praise breaks.

  328. Listen, you've got like a a tough meeting at work and it's

  329. difficult and stressful. Take a take a joy break.

  330. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You take a joy break.

  331. Difficult meeting, boardroom meeting.

  332. Listen, I've been in the corporate world.

  333. I'll go to the bathroom. Just take a quick joy break in

  334. the bathroom. Jeez.

  335. Yeah, yeah. Something happens, you know, or

  336. kids acting up. Difficult situation.

  337. You just take a joy break. Just take a joy break.

  338. I just go and sit and laugh for 10 seconds.

  339. You just laugh and you just take the joy break and you just

  340. declare the word you say, listen, this is the day that the

  341. Lord has made. I will rejoice and I will be

  342. glad. Yeah, you take a joy break.

  343. And so the bulls are piling up. Difficult situation.

  344. And so in the kitchen you just start singing while you're

  345. making tea. This is the day.

  346. This is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has

  347. made. We will rejoice.

  348. We will rejoice and be glad in me and be glad in you.

  349. That's what I did. OK, so we take these joy graphs

  350. throughout the day. And so this week try these joy

  351. breaks. And So what you do is, and this

  352. helps, they've proven this psychologically as well, that

  353. when you smile, so you, you, you smile on purpose and you can

  354. look in the mirror and you can smile and it released happy

  355. hormones, you feel better. So when you smile on purpose,

  356. I'm not talking about the situation or sugar.

  357. I'm not talking about you lying on the beach.

  358. I'm talking about just before you go into a stressful board

  359. meeting. You smile on purpose.

  360. OK, so it's rather so because The thing is your face has to

  361. prophecy of your feelings. Your face has to prophecy of

  362. your feelings, OK? And so you just put on a joy

  363. laugh. So I'm saying it's a fake laugh.

  364. Like you laugh because when you laugh, you will tell you will

  365. overrule the feelings, OK. And so you don't wait for the

  366. joy to come. You don't wait for the joy or

  367. the happiness to arrive somewhere.

  368. No, you release it, you make it twice a decision in hospitals

  369. kinds of they showed them funny comedian videos you can watch on

  370. YouTube, these trips with this video, the cats and the dogs and

  371. things make people laugh. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  372. It's, it's it's proven. It's it's it's physical,

  373. logical, but it's also Bible make people laugh, feel better.

  374. Yeah. So you release it and then

  375. strength follows. And so this is Nehemiah.

  376. He got the revelation. It's in the Bible.

  377. He said, listen guys, you need to go and celebrate this crying

  378. and this sorrow, this and this and you need to shake off the

  379. dust. You need to start celebrating

  380. some choice festivity because he knows what's going to happen.

  381. He knows that the people are going to be lifted up.

  382. You walk out of a church meeting, you've had a full belly

  383. laugh. You feel better.

  384. And those of you, I've been in Rodney R Brown's meetings in

  385. Johannesburg now. When I walked in that the first

  386. time, I really thought it was a circus because he was not

  387. telling any jokes. But the people were laughing

  388. constantly laughing and laughing and laughing.

  389. And so it caught guns on me and I couldn't stop.

  390. And I walked out there and I felt lighted.

  391. It's Bible. Have you noticed when you start

  392. laughing and you can be around people all of a sudden, not

  393. before long, people are laughing with you.

  394. Yeah, people are laughing even if they don't, even if you

  395. haven't told a joke, you're just standing around people and they

  396. love and they don't even know why they're laughing.

  397. No, because that's how joy, it's contagious.

  398. It spreads. That's joy.

  399. That's joy. Laughter.

  400. Yeah, it's contagious. Listen to we live in a stressful

  401. world, OK? The world is stressed out.

  402. There's heaviness, there's fear. The vision, the answer is joy.

  403. Joy is medicine. Listen, I'm telling you, the

  404. Bible, the Bible says that the joy, this is the medicines of

  405. the world. And listen, it sits with the

  406. questions, it sits with the church.

  407. The church is supposed to be the solution to the world, to the

  408. problems in the world, not the other way around, not the

  409. government, the politics, no, the church, the government of

  410. the church is the solution to the problems and the challenges

  411. of the world. The joy of the Lord.

  412. It's medicine, the joy, the Bible says it.

  413. Laughter is the book of Proverbs.

  414. Laughter is as taking good medicine.

  415. So when we are laughing in church, we are taking our

  416. medicine. We are having our dose of

  417. medicine. Yes, Judge.

  418. Now let me show you something else what he said because she

  419. goes on and he says this Nehemiah said go and enjoy

  420. choice food and sweet and drinks.

  421. I just hope no one's fasting. We celebrated today and send

  422. some to those who have nothing prepared.

  423. OK, we'll have some more fast coming up anyways.

  424. But today's day of celebration anyway.

  425. So it just means that joy doesn't just stay with you.

  426. Joy overflows. It overflows, OK?

  427. It's joy. It doesn't hoard Joy shares.

  428. Yeah. Feed off.

  429. OK, since we're talking about, we are having now Pastor

  430. Michelle's birthday at Jock's Day today.

  431. How exciting is that? And so that's going to be

  432. awesome. Now think about birthdays,

  433. right? OK, let's talk about a birthday

  434. cake now. A birthday cake.

  435. When we bring out the birthday cake and it's happy and

  436. celebrating everybody, wow, there's a nice cake and

  437. beautiful cake. Birthday cake.

  438. What do we do with the birthday cake?

  439. OK, The birthday cake does not just go to the birthday person.

  440. The birthday cake, kids, what? Sliced up and shared with

  441. everyone around the table. We all.

  442. That's how joy is supposed to be.

  443. It's meant to be shared. Joy is missional, it's

  444. evangelistic. It's reaching out.

  445. Now, listen, this is what I've learned over the years.

  446. Now I've been in many industries, corporate

  447. industries, customer service, hospitality and Bristol.

  448. I was the first face of the organization to Monica tries.

  449. And so the first point of contact, the first face, right

  450. People when they walk in, OK, now this is talking about a

  451. retirement village for the retired people that there's a 10

  452. year waiting list, very affluent, all enlisted

  453. buildings. OK, A lot of people want to.

  454. So I'm the first one of gone people.

  455. The first thing they want to see is when they walk in through the

  456. doors into my office. I had a big dance with my deputy

  457. manager. The first thing they want to see

  458. is a small voice. OK, am I right?

  459. Somebody who's who's come on now, they want to walk in.

  460. This is people that retired, OK? These are people that pay

  461. £1,000,000 for one flat, OK, That's, that's the people we are

  462. dealing with. You know, people walking through

  463. very professional people. What's the first thing they want

  464. to see? They want to see a small face.

  465. I've learned over the years, over many, many years, people

  466. are not drawn to long faces. And that's not a very big, huge

  467. revelation today. But I just want to tell you

  468. that, listen, people are not drawn.

  469. They are not attracted to a long face.

  470. Sometimes just look in the mirror and just smile at

  471. yourself because it feels bigger.

  472. Yeah, people are not attracted. They are not drawn.

  473. If you know, in the gym industry, in the sport industry,

  474. whichever industry they want to say they are not attracted to

  475. heaviness, sorrow. Now people want to see joy walk

  476. in the street, smile at people you'll see go change the to that

  477. go and walk and just walk around smiling.

  478. You'll see the difference because people want to see hope,

  479. they want to see joy. And so when you walk into work,

  480. so on Monday you walk into work with a smile on your phone.

  481. So when you smile now the pressure is real.

  482. OK, it's stressful in the office.

  483. OK boss, OK, things are going on board me and readings.

  484. I know that in mystery, but you walk in the smile, people will

  485. take notice. They will look at you and I say,

  486. listen, there's something different about you.

  487. How is this possible that there's so much stress going on

  488. in this office, but you are still smiling?

  489. How is that possible? That's a great moment to say to

  490. them, listen, the joy of the Lord is my state.

  491. Come on, somebody shout Hallelujah.

  492. Oh, we need to go. The joy of corners was straight,

  493. so guess your cup should be so full that it spills over.

  494. Everywhere you go, at work, everywhere there should be joy.

  495. I know fights. Christians are supposed to be

  496. the happiest, most joyful people on the planet.

  497. We are supposed to be there. I am not talking about

  498. situations and circumstances. I'm talking about us, the

  499. happiest people on the planet. Happy, happy, happy, full of

  500. joy, spoils over everyone. And think about it, when you are

  501. full of joy, you don't just want to keep it to yourself, you want

  502. to share it. You want to give it to somebody

  503. else. OK.

  504. And so this week, just back to sending these portions because

  505. that's what he's saying. He said, listen, right now we've

  506. got the joy. So now we're going to send it.

  507. So this week, so you go out and you take somebody on an

  508. encouraging text, send them a message of encouragement, tell

  509. somebody, give them a word of hope, give them a word of

  510. healing, give them a word of strength.

  511. Reach out to some, go and buy somebody some groceries.

  512. Go walk up, shock somebody, stand at the camp and say,

  513. listen, I'm paying for your groceries today, can I go

  514. listen, Just go buy somebody coffee.

  515. Just do something radical. Listen, you just find that

  516. friend that is struggling saying that phone that would reach out

  517. to that. Listen, you invite and go and

  518. invite somebody to church this week and fight somebody just and

  519. say, listen, I've got more than enough for both of us.

  520. I'm overflowing with someone. And listen, evangelism works

  521. very, very powerfully. When you walk up to somebody

  522. with a big smile, big smiles, I'm telling you, people love

  523. that. Big smiles, great conversation,

  524. everyday language, come on, will not come up.

  525. Be religious. It's not a funeral, it's a

  526. feast. Somebody show up.

  527. It's a feast. Yeah.

  528. Hallelujah. Abundant life.

  529. This is what Jesus said. Remember what Jesus said in John

  530. changing. I have come that you might be

  531. full of sorrow, sadness, crying, wig.

  532. I have come that you might have life to the full.

  533. Far is abundant, overflowing, enjoying life.

  534. It doesn't mean there's no troubles in the world and

  535. difficulty. Jesus said there will be

  536. trouble, but be of good. Sure, I have overcome the world.

  537. It's going to be challenges. But James says counting all joy

  538. when these trials come. But that should not make a sour

  539. a storm. A difficulty in life should not

  540. make a sour, Jesus said I've covered you my life, abundant

  541. life. Joy is festa, joy is victory.

  542. It's a continual journey, everyday journey of joy.

  543. It's overflow. That's what Jesus said over and

  544. abundantly more than enough. And so that abundant life is not

  545. just a reward one day. So we have got to struggle now

  546. for 506780 years on the earth struggling or life is so hard.

  547. As a Christian sour, I've been eating Ceres lemons and all the,

  548. you know, change it into lemonade.

  549. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When life throws you lemons, you

  550. just change it into lemonade. And so it's not just one day and

  551. then in heaven we're going to laugh and then abandoned.

  552. Life is a reward. It's an everyday, everyday

  553. journey, victory. It's a continual celebration.

  554. And so this isn't joy isn't something that you feel or do

  555. when life is better or everything is perfect or once

  556. the after the devil leaves, joy makes the devil leaves.

  557. Come on, come on, If you want to do this, laugh at the devil,

  558. laugh at the problems, laugh at the demons and the secret of the

  559. devil. I I just laugh at all.

  560. Many times I drive in my car after meetings and I had such

  561. difficult streets, I would just laugh it off.

  562. I would, I would laugh out loud. I would just put on laughter and

  563. I would laugh it off. Yeah.

  564. Now, by the way, there is a difference between joy and

  565. happiness. OK, So happiness that comes from

  566. happening. Things happening.

  567. OK, happening. So when things go your way, then

  568. you're happy. When things don't go your way,

  569. then happiness disappears. But joy, on the other hand, joy

  570. comes from Jesus. So that means that even if

  571. things do not go your way, you still stay steady because joy is

  572. steady, because Jesus is steady. The Bible says it's the same

  573. yesterday, today and forever. Come on, somebody.

  574. Hallelujah. Yeah, that's the thoughtless.

  575. And so happiness is like the weather in the UK.

  576. It's unpredictable, OK, from sunny to stormy, the weather's

  577. going up and down. It changes all the time.

  578. Happiness changes all the time, but joy is the same.

  579. Joy stays the same. I might have had a very

  580. difficult day at the office, but joy still stays the same.

  581. It's like a rubber, it's like a water well.

  582. It flows. It's throughout every season,

  583. it's flowing. It's the same.

  584. It's that the most stat that you set?

  585. OK, now joy does not deny the problem.

  586. It's not denial. It's defying faith.

  587. So, for example, I see the storm, but I am still going to

  588. celebrate. Even though I see the storm, I'm

  589. still going to celebrate. I see the problem, but I am

  590. still going to rejoice. I am still going to praise even

  591. though it is a problem. I'm going to still praise my

  592. God. This is what David said, Psalm

    Psalms 118:24

  593. 118, verse 24. This is the day that the Lord

  594. has made. We will rejoice and be glad in

  595. it. Every day is a gift from God.

  596. And so God has made the day. He's loaded the day.

  597. Oh, yeah, baby. He's loaded it with new mercies

  598. every morning. Daily break.

  599. Yeah. Wisdom for choices,

  600. opportunities. It's loaded.

  601. Now, here's the key. The key is Joy unwraps and opens

  602. that gift, the daily gift package that you get every day.

  603. Joy opens it. Complaining seals and closes it.

  604. Rejoicing opens the gift that God has given us every day of

  605. our lives. So David did not say, if the day

  606. goes my way, then I will praise. He said I will, He said, that's

  607. what we will do. We will rejoice.

  608. We will praise, we will give God praise, we will rejoice.

  609. So he said, regardless of what's going on, if now go my way or

  610. not, we will praise, we will rejoice.

  611. So what's that? That's a pre decision.

  612. Pre decision meaning in advance, OK, before.

  613. So that is I choose to rejoice and to praise before the traffic

  614. jam, OK, before the news report, before the deadline, pre decided

  615. in advance. So you preset your thermostat of

  616. joy for the day you pre return. And so when you do that, then

  617. your celebration, it becomes your prophecy.

  618. Wow, I feel the anointing. Can you feel that somebody you

  619. decide in advance? And so the enemy doesn't just

  620. want your health or your money or your relationships.

  621. It's after your joy because he knows if he can poke holes in

  622. your joy, then he can drain your strength.

  623. It's after your joy. But that's why Jesus gave us

  624. John 16 verse 22. Watch this.

    John 16:22

  625. No one will take away your joy. No one.

  626. Not a boss, not a doctor, not a bill, no demon in health, no

  627. circumstances can cancel your joy.

  628. Somebody shout Hallelujah. They cannot insist.

  629. Nothing can take away your joy. OK, so no, it can't.

  630. So what happens sometimes with blockages?

  631. What happens sometimes with it doesn't feel like the joy is

  632. already there. This is the thing.

  633. Nothing and no one can say unless you hand it over, unless

  634. you give it, you should render it.

  635. OK. Are you getting this somebody?

  636. Because the joy of the Lord is your strength.

  637. Say that with me the joy of the Lord is my strength.

  638. Now Paul wrote in Philippians 4/4.

  639. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I read it out loud.

  640. Again, I will say, rejoice. They're sitting together,

  641. everybody 123 rejoice in the law always.

  642. Again I will say, rejoice. When Paul wrote that he was in

  643. prison, not on a beach in Bahamas.

  644. He wrote that from prison when he wrote that verse.

  645. OK, now anyone can rejoice at noon when the sun is shining,

  646. but it takes faith to rejoice in midnight.

  647. Are you with me, somebody? It's easy to rejoice when the

  648. sun is shining, but it takes faith to rejoice in the midnight

  649. season. So don't fall into the trap of

  650. as soon as, as soon as I get the promotion, I'll be happy.

  651. As soon as the kids act up, then I will rejoice and then I'll

  652. celebrate. As soon as the healing comes, my

  653. body feels better, the pains lift, then I will celebrate,

  654. then I'll be happy. As soon as the kids behave or as

  655. soon as you know, I get the breakthrough, then I will

  656. celebrate. When I get the breakthrough,

  657. then I'll be finally happy. Now the celebration, OK, the

  658. rejoicing, the joy is what carries you.

  659. And it brings the breakthrough. Can you say, I mean, somebody

  660. let's think of like an umbrella. The weather doesn't determine

  661. whether or not you're going to stay dry.

  662. Now you do. You decide, OK, right.

  663. It's a, it's a rainy day. Now you decide to take an

  664. umbrella, not the weather, not the outside circumstance, you

  665. decide I'm going to take an umbrella of praise.

  666. I'm going to put on joy. I'm going to set my thermostat,

  667. I'm going to open the umbrella. And so I'm going to be walking

  668. through the rain dry, so a cupboard, I'm going to walk in

  669. through the storm cover. So that's how you decide like an

  670. umbrella of praise. And so that is why Paul had this

  671. revelation and he could say rejoice always rejoice.

  672. We mean all the time, rejoice all the time for all

  673. circumstances, difficulties, challenges, rejoice with storms,

  674. any situation, any season, rejoice, always rejoice.

  675. Anyway, that's what Paul was saying because he's changed in

  676. prison did not control his choice.

  677. The situation that he was in in prison did not dictate to his

  678. spur the prison cell. The prison change did not

  679. dictate the outward that not so to His Spirit.

  680. He decided I choose joy on purpose.

  681. If I'm now on a beach in the Bahamas, or if I'm now in a

  682. prison cell captured being marketed for Jesus, I am still

  683. rejoicing if I'm suffering or if I'm on a beach.

  684. If I'm on a holiday difficult, I'm still choose joy on purpose.

  685. Choose joy on purpose. Say it with me.

  686. I choose joy on purpose. Say it again.

  687. I choose joy on purpose. Now put your hands together and

  688. praise the law. Hallelujah.

  689. Right? Because listen, I want to show

  690. you something else, which is actually the amazing Quebec

  691. Chapter 3 by 70 watches. Though the fig trees does not

  692. bite and there are no grapes on the bones.

  693. Though the olive crops fails and the fields produce no food.

  694. Though there are no sheep in the pen, no cattle in the stools yet

  695. everybody say yet. I will rejoice in the Lord.

  696. I will be joyful in God my Saviour.

  697. That little word yet that changes everything.

  698. A little word like. Yet had Beckett looked at empty

  699. fields, barren bonds. OK, drought everywhere.

  700. It's dry. Everything in the natural says

  701. this in is game over. It's gone.

  702. There's nothing here. You could just as well give up.

  703. OK, it's dry. But he made the decision.

  704. Yet I will rejoice. And that's not denial.

  705. He's not denying the problem. That is defying faith.

  706. He say, I see the lack, but I choose to rejoice.

  707. I choose joy. I feel the pressure, but I

  708. choose the praise, OK. I choose, I feel, I see the

  709. trials, but I choose triumph, OK.

  710. And so when you say it, Heaven says yes, come on, somebody got

  711. that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  712. That's when you say yes, I will. Heaven says yes, Heaven.

  713. The angels say, oh, did you hear that?

  714. Did you hear that revival? Did you hear?

  715. They rejoice and they praised before the breakthrough.

  716. Let's release the miracle. Let's release the strip, let's

  717. release the victory because these people are praising before

  718. they see the breakthrough. Come on, somebody give God some

  719. praise and this place, somebody shout, follow me out.

  720. Come on, take the place like, oh, hello, don't read it to God.

  721. And so today some of you, you are staring at into lands, into

  722. fields and relationship feels dry.

  723. It feels difficult, it feels buried.

  724. Maybe it's a business deal but fell through.

  725. Maybe it's a job you didn't get. Maybe it's a healing diagnosis

  726. that shook you, but the Spirit of God is saying add yet,

  727. because when you add a yet yet I didn't get the job yet, I will

  728. still rejoice. I didn't get that promotion yet.

  729. I will I the healing hasn't come yet.

  730. I will rejoice. The breakthrough has not shown

  731. up yet. I will rejoice because when you

  732. say yet heaven releases yes, come on somebody your yet

  733. releases Heaven's yes. Somebody shout yes, come on,

  734. shout again. Yes, yes, yes.

  735. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Come on, tell your name.

  736. Yes, yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,

  737. Yes. I feel, yes, I feel heavens.

  738. Yes. In this place I want to prophecy

  739. on the Creator. Claire.

  740. Yes to your blessing. Yes to your healing.

  741. Yes to your finances. Yes to your family, your

  742. marriage. Yes.

  743. To your breakthrough. Yes, yes, yes.

  744. Because you have been praising before the breakthrough.

  745. Heaven says yes. Release the miracles.

  746. Yes. Release the breakthrough.

  747. Yes. Release the business.

  748. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Release the presence, the joy

  749. and the strength of almighty car.

  750. Yes to your victory. Come on, somebody shout yes.

  751. Hallelujah. I want you to leave me right

  752. here. This is there.

  753. This is where it gets powerful. Acts chapter 16.

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  754. Watch this verse. But about midnight, Paul

  755. insiders were praying and singing hymns to God and the

  756. other prisoners were listening to them.

  757. Suddenly there was this not turned violent earthquake that

  758. the foundations of the prison were shaking.

  759. At once all the prison doors flew open and everyone's chains

  760. came loose. Hallelujah.

  761. Yeah, OK. Anybody can praise at noon, OK,

  762. When the paycheck hits, when the money is in the bank, it's easy

  763. to praise, OK. When things go good, when it's a

  764. good report, things are working out, the sun is shining.

  765. But a midnight price is different.

  766. A midnight price, OK, don't just wait a midnight price.

  767. It doesn't wait for the breakthrough to come.

  768. A midnight praise brings us a breakthrough.

  769. Somebody shout out of New York. Oh, you know that.

  770. Come on. Oh, you know that.

  771. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what the midnight crisis.

  772. Did you get that? You got that.

  773. OK. That's what a midnight price.

  774. It doesn't wait for a midnight price.

  775. Here's the thing. It brings the breakthrough.

  776. That's the power of a midnight price.

  777. Hallelujah. And so scientists, they tell us

  778. about earthquakes. They they come that win, the

  779. pressure pulls up on the ground. So when the pressure pulls up on

  780. the ground, then it releases, it shakes the foundation, the

  781. foundation shifts. And so this is what happened in

  782. Philippa. And so the pressure was heavy,

  783. They imprisoned, the chains are tight.

  784. But when Paul and Silas started singing, suddenly the atmosphere

  785. shifted and all of a sudden the foundations started shaking.

  786. And the prison doors, oh Hallelujah, it shook.

  787. And from wide open, Come on, somebody's getting this today.

  788. Come on, somebody's getting this today.

  789. The moment when they started praising, things started

  790. shifting. Things started moving.

  791. I don't know. Now notice this?

  792. It wasn't just pulling silence. They changed for that.

  793. It wasn't just Paul and Silas just changed that fellow.

  794. It was everybody around them that chains fell off.

  795. Come on, Somebody. Are you getting this?

  796. Everyone's chains came loose. Not just no point in silence.

  797. They were the ones praising. They were the ones rejoicing.

  798. But everyone's face came loose. Listen, your praise doesn't just

  799. free you. Your it Free someone else.

  800. Oh, yes. Yeah.

  801. Oh my God, yes. That's just free you.

  802. It can free someone, everyone around you.

  803. It can free the people around you.

  804. It can free them. Your kids.

  805. Your price can free your kids, your spouse, your marriage, your

  806. family members. Yes, the people around you, your

  807. Co workers, your praise, cut release and set others free,

  808. even sitting and praising here, people in the gym right here,

  809. even in the restaurant, even in this region, in Bracknell, you

  810. can be praising here and people's signs are falling off

  811. in the region. In the region, in this village

  812. hotel, people can be in a hotel room right now and you don't

  813. even know what's going in that hotel room, but they can be

  814. sitting somebody that is ready to commit suicide in a hotel

  815. room. They can be somebody that is

  816. sitting in a hotel room and they can be so depressed.

  817. They can before there's a church opening in this region because

  818. there's people that has been praising somebody got free from

  819. depression, somebody got healed of a sickness, somebody's

  820. addiction. Because there's a group of

  821. people that is praising in Bracknell, in ready in this

  822. region, in London, in the UK and the revival break free because

  823. the churches decided to finally come out of the closet and

  824. celebrate and praise the movie Jesus Christ.

  825. Yes, yes, yes, freedom, freedom in prep life for us, given us

  826. the nation and this nation will be a Christian nation under God.

  827. Only I feel a revival coming. I feel this for somebody today.

  828. You have been in a midnight season.

  829. It feels dark, it feels heavy and lonely.

  830. But I am here to tell you that your praise has got power.

  831. Your song has got power. Don't waste your midnight.

  832. Don't let the darkness silence your praise.

  833. OK? If Paul and silence could praise

  834. in the prison, if Paul and silence could praise in a

  835. change, you can praise. In your challenge, you can

  836. praise. In your situation, you can

  837. praise. In your workplace, in your

  838. school, in your place of work, you can praise.

  839. If Paul and silence can praise in prison, you can praise your

  840. workplace, you can praise we God has praised you.

  841. Somebody shout Hallelujah. Take a place break, take a place

  842. break. Give guys some place.

  843. Come on, break loose, cut loose, celebrate, lift your voice, open

  844. your lips. Friends, friends praise.

  845. Praise him, praise him, praise him, praise him and watch when

  846. the doors are opening. Change some falling, change some

  847. falling. Family members are being loose

  848. right now, generational process are being broken.

  849. Generational cases from the third, the second, all the

  850. generations are broken off Your families, you're praising God.

  851. Praise doesn't just happen after the doors open.

  852. Praise is the thing that one opens the doors.

  853. Joy doesn't just come when the breakthrough shows up.

  854. Joy is what brings the breakthrough.

  855. I want you to hear this church. It brings it.

  856. So when the midnight comes, that's your moment to lift your

  857. voice and to celebrate. Somebody shall celebrate.

  858. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

  859. Say that the joy of the Lord is my strength.

  860. Every day when you wake up, say that the joy of the Lord is my

  861. strength. When that alarm clock goes off

  862. and you don't feel like going to work, you declare, listen, the

  863. joy of the Lord is my strength. Yeah.

  864. And you just stick it out and you're like, oh, I don't feel

  865. like going to work. But you say out loud, today is

  866. going to be a good day. Yeah.

  867. Yeah. You say that over your life,

  868. it's going to be a good day. Hallelujah, somebody.

  869. Now I'm nearly done and I quickly just throw this in.

  870. Just go a little deeper. Somebody, John 414.

  871. The water I give them will become in them a spring of water

  872. welling up to eternal life. Now, sometimes life can feels

  873. like your well is drying. It feels dry.

  874. But let me just tell you the truth, it's not dry, it's just

  875. clogged up. It's just clogged up.

  876. OK, The enemy, what the enemy does, it throws stones into the

  877. well. They throw stones of

  878. discouragement, defeat, OK, doubt, insecurity, guilt.

  879. And so it throws these stones in the well, OK.

  880. And so over time, it feels like the well, the river, it feels

  881. blocked. It feels like that it's clogged.

  882. But the good news is that it's still there.

  883. OK? The river is still there.

  884. John 738 says whoever believes in me, as Scripture said, rivers

  885. of living water will flow from within there.

  886. So the Spirit of God is still inside you.

  887. It's still there. It hasn't dried.

  888. The enemy wants to try and lie. He wants to lie and try and tell

  889. you that it's gone, that your joy is gone, that is.

  890. But the truth is God says no, it's just clogged up.

  891. It's just blocked. It's still there.

  892. Now watch this in Genesis 26 year it comes and Isaac dug

  893. again the walls of water which they had dug in the days of

  894. Abraham. Islam for the Philistines had

  895. stopped. So that's why today is a well

  896. digging day. Today, OK, we are removing the

  897. stones. We are removing the stones for

  898. the rivers to flow again. We are unplugging, unblocking

  899. that. OK, it's time to let the rivers

  900. flow again. Somebody, are you getting this?

  901. Because that's what Jesus promised.

  902. He promised living waters, rivers.

  903. Now notice it's not just one river.

  904. It's it's not just a little sprinkle or little drip or

  905. little St. It talks about rivers.

  906. Now, rivers. That means that that is joy

  907. unlimited. That is joy, unspeaking,

  908. unstoppable. That is strength with mowing

  909. overflowing rivers of living waters.

  910. Now listen, I've been on the farm with my grandfather.

  911. Now farmers know that if they the well have not been used for

  912. a long time, what happens over time?

  913. The well gets clogged up. It gets blocked with dirt.

  914. But listen, when the farmer goes and he dig it again, he finds

  915. that the water is still there. Come on, somebody is still

  916. there. You find it's the water.

  917. The river is still there, waiting.

  918. Now, maybe you haven't drawn joy lately because you've been busy,

  919. OK, you've been tired and weary, and so you haven't.

  920. But listen. If you will start praising

  921. again, if you will start celebrating again, and you will

  922. open your mouth and you'll start thinking again and rejoicing

  923. again, you will see that that river of joy has never left.

  924. Somebody shout Hallelujah. And so I believe that God is

  925. saying to someone today that you are going to laugh again.

  926. Less, less, less. You're going to laugh again.

  927. Your choice. Your laughter is coming back.

  928. Your laughter is coming back. Your song is coming back.

  929. Your strength is coming back. I'm prophesying over your

  930. church. It's coming back.

  931. Yeah, the rivers of joy. It's flowing again.

  932. Come on, somebody get excited. Give God some praise.

  933. Yeah, Yeah, it's coming back. Somebody shot.

  934. Hallelujah. Say this out loud with me.

  935. The rivers of joy is flowing again.

  936. My strength is coming back. Hallelujah.

  937. I feel the joy. I can see it on your faces.

  938. My smile is back. Come on, come on, say that.

  939. My smile is back. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  940. I see it on your face. You're smiling.

  941. It's amazing the difference when I walked in you early this

  942. morning. OK.

  943. Sometimes, like it's not another cup of coffee.

  944. It's just another dose of the only ghost.

  945. It's just another dose of the joy of the Lord.

  946. OK. And so my smile is back.

  947. Yeah. Come on.

  948. Say that. My smile is back.

  949. Tell your neighbor my smile is back.

  950. Yeah. Now, enclosing, because your

  951. story is not one of shame. Your story is one of

  952. celebration. It's a celebration story.

  953. Church. Now, in closing, when a nation

  954. wins a great battle, OK, they don't go back to the Baron

  955. Barrack. Silence.

  956. They don't tip it toe back home. All right, when they've won a

  957. great battle, they March through the streets with a victory

  958. parade. Yeah, that's the soldiers that

  959. fought. Leave the families that

  960. sacrificed. OK.

  961. They publicly celebrate, OK, because the joy it seals the

  962. victory, the joy, the celebrate, it's part of the victory, the

  963. celebration, OK. And so because that's what

  964. Nehemiah model the feast, it was not just a meal, it was a

  965. prophecy. It was a prophecy, OK, And so

  966. celebration, and This is why we're talking about celebration,

  967. what celebration is. When we come together, we

  968. celebrate. It's a public prophecy, that

  969. celebration, a public prophecy that we are not under defeat,

  970. that we are in victory. That's what happens when we

  971. church comes together and we celebrate.

  972. It's a public prophecy celebrating that we are not

  973. under the feet, we are not under the weather, under the

  974. circumstances, under the difficulties of the world.

  975. We are in victory. That's what we declare when we

  976. celebrate as the church, OK? Because celebration, that's what

  977. it is, a declaration we are declaring.

  978. And celebration is part of the victory, OK?

  979. And so your praise is part of your prophecy.

  980. Your praise is part of the victory, your praise.

  981. And so don't wait until the devil packs up and leave.

  982. Praise now, praise now. Celebrate now.

  983. Rejoice now, because here it is, the battle is already won.

  984. Somebody said Hallelujah, come on, stand to your feet.

  985. Give God some cry. Somebody Hallelujah, the battle

  986. is already won. Somebody shout, celebrate.

  987. Yeah, that's why we celebrate the battles already won when

  988. Jesus victoriously resurrected from the dead.

  989. This is a holy moment. And so church, the Spirit of God

  990. is inviting us to remove scones and clog the rivers of joy, to

  991. die in the wells. And so let the joy can flow

  992. again. And so some of you a stone have

  993. been rolled into your well, and it may be a stone of

  994. disappointment. Maybe you didn't get the job or

  995. something fell through and you feel disappointment.

  996. But the Lord is saying roll the stone away.

  997. And so for others, maybe it's a stone of offense.

  998. Maybe somebody hurt you and they they've turned up lights or they

  999. never apologized and you feel you've got this grudge.

1000. OK, maybe they just hurt you and now it's clogging your flow.

1001. So it's time to release that. It's time to forgive and

1002. release. So don't let those things be

1003. your present. And so for some of you, it's

1004. condemnation. Maybe you are keeping on

1005. replaying your failure, going through the same mountain cycle.

1006. But the Bible says that if God has removed it as far as it is

1007. from the West, then it is gone. It's wiped away.

1008. Now for others, maybe it's discouragement.

1009. Maybe the door closed. Now that no doesn't mean never,

1010. it means better. So Jesus said this in verse John

    John 15:11

1011. 15, verse 11. I have told you these things so

1012. that you will be full with my joy.

1013. Come on somebody say my joy. Who's who's talking here?

1014. Jesus, come on, say the joy of the Lord is my strength.

1015. Jesus said listen, just I have told you these things that my

1016. joy, which is the joy of the Lord, yes, your joy will

  1017. overflow somebody shout Hallelujah.

1018. So choose joy on purpose, not because life is perfect, not

1019. because God is good and God is faithful and God is on the

1020. front. Now David plays something very,

1021. very powerful about the joy of his salvation.

1022. Watch this Psalm 51 restore to me the joy of your salvation.

1023. That's powerful. If David could ask, and you know

1024. what happened in Psalm 51, He went through a repentance.

1025. The conviction hit him because of what's happened.

1026. He repented before God. And then what did he pray?

1027. He said, God, now no, I'm not going to carry on sorrow and

1028. grief. I am going to rejoice.

1029. So this is what I want you to do, Lord.

1030. I want you to restore the joy of my salvation.

1031. If he can ask it, you can ask the same.

1032. Maybe you've gone through depression and difficult and

1033. challenges. You can ask the same thing,

1034. Lord, Restore the joy of my survive in my life.

1035. Let the river of joy. Lord, I've not laughed for

1036. months, for weeks, for years in my family.

1037. I need to laugh again. Some of you just need to break

1038. loose and laugh again. OK, Honestly, it's time to break

1039. loose and cut and, and, and just laugh and enjoy life a little

1040. bit more, especially with Christians for us to enjoy life

1041. to the full. OK, now I declare today that

1042. it's not just going to be a sprinkle.

1043. It's not just going to be a sparkle.

1044. It's not just going to be a little rough, but it's going to

1045. be reverse Unlimited, unstoppable rivers are going to

1046. rise again. You're going to laugh again.

1047. Some of you are already laughing.

1048. Some of you listen. You came in, you're very sad and

1049. grieving. And down and heavy and weary.

1050. But listen, today's an exchange counter.

1051. This is what happens when we come to church, an exchange

1052. counter. It means, listen, Lord, I'm

1053. going to come and I'm going to trade my sorrow for your joy,

1054. right? So we're going to try it now in

1055. a moment, because I just love that song.

1056. I'm trading my secret. I'm trading my sorrows for the

1057. joy of the Lord. So this is what we're going to

1058. do. We're going to come for we're

1059. going to trade the sorrow, the grieving, the pain.

1060. And we are going to give it to the Lord.

1061. And the Lord's going to give us joy, joy, unspeakable joy.

1062. OK, So if that is you today and you say, I want to try, just

1063. raise your hands before the Lord.

1064. If that's you and you say yes, raise your hands.

1065. I just want to pray. Father, I thank you for your

1066. presence in this place, in this house.

1067. Holy Spirit, let joy rise like a river, overflowing, unstoppable,

1068. unclog every well we lay, every stone.

1069. Disappointment, offends, doubt, guilt, insecurity at the feet of

1070. Jesus. And right now, by faith we

1071. release, forgive Lord, restore the joy of our salvation, turn

1072. mourning into dancing, turn heavenness into gladness, open

1073. the fountain within rivers of living water flow.

1074. I speak strength to the weary. I speak healing to the broken.

1075. I speak freedom to the power. Freedom right now.

1076. I declare this is the day that the Lord has made, and we will

1077. rejoice and be glad in it. We choose joy on purpose and no

1078. one can take our joy. Joy, Lord, anoint us right now

1079. to send portions of joy, to share our joy with the world

1080. around us. Bless our homes, our marriages,

1081. our children. Bless our world, our witness.

1082. For every midnight season, Give us a midnight song as we sing

1083. and celebrate. Shake the foundations, open the

1084. prison doors, and then every child.

1085. Paul, Hallelujah. Somebody's young Hallelujah and

1086. all God's people shout Hallelujah.

1087. Judge. Now it's time to put the word of

1088. God in action. Now, just like Paul and Silas in

1089. prison, we are going to open our lips and we're going to praise

1090. God. So right now, on the count of

1091. three, we're going to take a 10 second of a midnight praise.

1092. Are you ready for a midnight praise?

1093. Somebody Remember, a midnight praise brings your breakthrough.

1094. It brings freedom. Are you ready, somebody, to clap

1095. your hands and lift your voice and shout unto God with a voice

1096. of triumph on the 3123 shot? Hello.

1097. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Whoa.

1098. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  1099. Hallelujah. Shop, shop.

1100. Now, now, now. Change of home.

1101. Yeah, now change of wells are flowing.

1102. Joy is flowing. Joy is really joy is rising joy.

1103. Somebody shout. Say this with me.

1104. Joy is my fortress. I choose joy on purpose.

1105. My wall is on clog. Come on, say it again.

1106. My wall is on clog or unplugged. OK.

1107. The river is flowing again. Yeah.

1108. Yeah, it's flowing again. This is the day that the Lord

1109. has made. We will rejoice and be glad in

  1110. it. Say it again.

1111. This is the day that the Lord has made.

1112. We will rejoice. I'll be glad in it.

1113. I will celebrate. The joy of the Lord is my

  1114. strength. Now celebrate your.
