-
OK, So I want to talk to you about position of power.
-
Now. That's the theme of today and
-
the title that I put up here, I'll put it up in a minute.
-
It's over here. I'm so great.
-
Still standing. Somebody says still standing.
-
OK, so after everything, all these years, everything that we
-
have been through, we are still, yeah, we are still standing.
-
Can you save me somebody? We are still standing.
-
Somebody say still standing. I feel the anointing of God in
-
this place. Courage is rising.
-
Faith is already in this group. So I'm going to go straight into
-
the word, OK, Are you ready for the word?
-
If you're ready for the word, somebody shout Amen.
-
OK, All right, so if your neighbor shouts louder, just
-
borrow their faith, OK? If your neighbors shouts louder,
-
Amen. And I mean yes and Amen, borrow
-
their faith, OK? Because faith is shareable, you
-
can share faith. Borrow your neighbors faith.
-
If the Amen is louder today, OK, Hallelujah, praise God.
-
So let's open the Word together in Ephesians chapter 6,
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
Ephesians chapter 6 and we are going to read from verse 13,
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
right? I'll put it up on the screen for
-
us like usual, verse 13 and 14. Now this is very powerful.
-
I've had Apostle Paul talking about the full armor of God.
-
Therefore, put on the full armor of God so that when the day of
-
evil comes, you may be able to stand everybody.
-
Say stand your ground. And after you have done
-
everything right, you've done everything to stand.
-
Stand firm. Then stop standing.
-
Father, we honor your presence. Lord, speak clearly.
-
Holy Spirit, move freely, do what only you can do, touch your
-
heart. Let no one live the same way.
-
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.
-
And God's people say a man, Yeah.
-
So Ephesians chapter 6, Paul the apostle talks about the armor of
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
God, and he says put on the armor of God, stand your ground.
-
And then after everything he says, keep on standing, stand
-
firm. Now notice he did not say OK fun
-
when life gets difficult. He did not say run when when it
-
gets rough. He did not say hideaway or
-
shrink back when you feel afraid.
-
He did not say hideaway, escape or run away.
-
He says stand firm. So after you've prayed, after
-
you've praised and worship, after you've done everything
-
that you know what to do. The Bible says stand firm after
-
everything, keep on standing. That is a position of power.
-
Okay, Are you getting this somebody?
-
So after everything, after the praise, after the stand is what
-
he says. And so the revelation in actual
-
that when you stand for God, heaven stands for you.
-
Come on, somebody shout Amen. Amen.
-
That's right. That's the word of the law.
-
And so standing is not passive. It's not weak.
-
Standing is not just doing nothing.
-
Standing is not folding your arms and just hope for some
-
things to work out. It's not staying like, you know,
-
hoping things are waiting for the worst.
-
OK? Standing is a faith choice,
-
right? And so it's saying to God that
-
God, I trust you, I am not going to panic because you fight my
-
battles. The battle belongs to the Lord.
-
Come on, somebody. So standing is not weakness.
-
Standing is strength. Standing is a weapon.
-
So when you stand your ground on God's peace, peace say God.
-
That's what peace says. God is here and God is in
-
control and God is bigger than any problem.
-
Somebody shout Amen. OK, so are you getting this
-
somebody because your apostle Paul talks about the armor of
-
God, put on the armor of God. And then he shows us how to
-
stand in life when life gets tough, when it gets difficult,
-
how to stand and make a stand for God.
-
And he says keep on standing. And he says it over and over
-
again. When you read that chapter, it's
-
all over it. That's one of the most powerful
-
chapter 6, the last chapter in the book of officials.
-
Paul says I have lived the the most important things for last
-
and he goes through it and he keeps on saying the same thing
-
four times. He says verse 11, he says put on
-
the armor of God so that you can take your stand.
-
Verse 13, put on the full humble of God so that when the evil day
-
comes, you might be able to stand your ground and after
-
yours are able, everything to stand.
-
Verse 14, stand firm then. And I love it because God is
-
putting his highlighter on that phrase, on this revelation, this
-
principle. It's all throughout the Bible.
-
And today we're going to run through the Bible.
-
I'm going to show you a scripture of the Scripture, this
-
powerful principle that's going to help us in these last evil
-
days that we are living in. How do we stand in these days?
-
Now God is saying something powerful because the very next
-
verse, He connects it to the shoes.
-
Now listen, His shoe stands for peace.
-
I want you, I want you to grab hold of this revelation about
-
standing and how it goes together with peace because
-
what's the shoes? Verse 15, very next verse and
-
with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the
-
gospel of peace. Somebody say peace.
-
So think about shoes. Shoes don't necessarily make you
-
faster shoes gives it it keeps you from slipping.
-
OK, gives you grip. So in the storm speed don't save
-
you, but grip wall. OK, so the the shoes, the piece
-
that is your grip. This is the grip, OK, in a very
-
slippery on a slicky wall, this is the grip of your soul.
-
That's how strong peace is. It's an anchor.
-
That's peace in your life. And so when the ground shakes,
-
this helps you to stand firm on the ground planted with your
-
feet. And so when the enemy tries to
-
push and the enemy cannot get a grip because peace is your grip,
-
this is the thing that gives you the anchor in your life.
-
Now, maybe today you are here and you feel like you are right
-
there in the middle of a store in a difficult situation and you
-
got a bad report pressure at work.
-
And there's a relationship that feels really shaky and things
-
feels really difficult in your life at the moment with bad
-
reports. Listen, here's the key right
-
here. Often, let's start straight into
-
stand steady, stay anchored. That's the key today.
-
So make a decision today that I will not be shaken, OK?
-
I will not be slipping and sliding.
-
I'll be standing. And when everything is over and
-
everything is done and everything, I'm still standing.
-
So when the dust settles and when the smoke clears, I'm still
-
standing. Somebody said I'm still
-
standing. I'm still standing.
-
Yeah, yeah, Yeah, I'm still standing.
-
And I want you to picture this, this anchor deep in the ocean
-
floor, buried on the ocean floor, grounded, solid deep
-
down. Calm stop.
-
On the surface, It's it's all stormy.
-
The winds are howling and the the rain hits and it's waves and
-
it's all stormy on the surface, but deep down and in the ocean
-
floor, the anchor is grounded, buried under that ocean floor,
-
solid, calm, peaceful right there.
-
It's anchor, this anchor of your soul.
-
And so your peace, your position of power, you're standing on
-
your ground on the peace that is your anchor.
-
Peace is your anchor and that anchor is deeper than your
-
storm. It's deeper than your difficulty
-
situation. That is shakening in the world
-
because you have got an anchor of your soul and it's peace.
-
Somebody shot peace. Hallelujah for peace.
-
So that is standing. Standing is dropping your anchor
-
and being anchored in a very shaky world where things are
-
shaking. Now, let me give you like
-
another picture. You've seen a like a camera
-
operator taking footage. Now let's say it's at the
-
sporting event and the camera opera is moving around to get
-
all the sporting events and moving through the crowds and
-
the people bump and the surface is uneven.
-
So it's bumpy, it's uneven, it's everywhere.
-
But the footage is smooth. The video footage is smooth.
-
Why is the video footage still smooth even though in Rihanna
-
it's really bumpy and it's shaky.
-
People are bumping, the person is moving around, the camera is
-
moving. Everything is moving and
-
shaking, but the footage is why? Because of a stabilizer.
-
Now, I don't know if you've seen a gimbal or like these days with
-
the Gopros, they have a stabilizer both in and so the
-
stabilizer absorbs the shake. Can you say, I mean, somebody,
-
OK. And so that is what peace and
-
the Holy Spirit is doing on the inside of you.
-
The Holy Spirit inside of you is a stabilizer.
-
He stabilizes the shakes the Holy Spirit in you.
-
It stands for peace, and it absorbs the shaking.
-
So wherever in life there shakes, Maybe life's up and down
-
lives wobbly, people shake, the economy shakes, politics shakes,
-
everything is shaking everywhere.
-
But the Spirit keeps your frames steady.
-
The Holy Spirit in you is your stabilizer.
-
And the bump won't break your frame, OK.
-
And so the bump won't break you because the Holy Spirit is your
-
stable. It keeps your frame steady.
-
And so you are not defined by what's going on in the world.
-
You are not defined by the shakings and the difficulties.
-
You are not defined by the shaking.
-
You are defined by the stabilizer.
-
Somebody shot. Hallelujah.
-
Put your hands together for the Lord, Hallelujah, because I want
-
to show you the power of these things coming together.
-
We've got the Spirit and now we've got the word.
-
Now let me give you a picture of that, the word of God.
-
I remember travelling on an airplane and I was flying, I was
-
flying to South Africa, and at one point in the airplane we hit
-
heavy turbulence and it was shaky.
-
And the airplane, the cabin, it was really like shaky and pumpy
-
heavy turbulence and dawn on me that yes, it's shaking in the
-
cabin and there's a lot of turbulence and shaking, but that
-
doesn't mean there's trouble in the cockpit, OK.
-
And so that pumps. It was just going on.
-
You know when you travel and you're on the plane and that
-
turbulence hits and it's pumps start, hands grabs the arm
-
rests, hearts are racing, sweat coming and people are.
-
The pilot comes on and says, ladies and gentlemen, we are
-
going to look for smoother air. And all of a sudden, now
-
nothing's outside change yet. But all of a sudden people are
-
relaxed. It's a relaxing.
-
The cabin is relaxed. The whole cabin suddenly
-
relaxes. Why?
-
Because the pilot spoke. When the pilot speaks, the
-
calmness comes, the peace comes when the pilot speaks, the panic
-
loses power When the pilot speaks.
-
Now God's word is the calm voice.
-
God's word is like the pilot speaking.
-
God's word sets all your soul. It brings calmness.
-
One word from God brings calmness into your situation,
-
one promise from God. And so I don't fly by feelings,
-
I fly by the voice. And the voice says peace, be
-
still, calm. And so you don't have to see the
-
pilot. You don't have to see God to
-
believe. You don't have to see the pilot
-
in the carpet, OK to trust the captain's word that gave you
-
reassurance. And the same with God's Word.
-
One word from God sets all your soul.
-
One promise from God gives you calmness and peace in the midst
-
of your storm, in the midst of your shaking, in the midst of
-
the shake. Now maybe you came in today and
-
you're carrying a lot of weight and pressure and difficulty,
-
health issue, a financial payment that is due.
-
You're carrying family crisis, a difficult situation in a
-
relationship. Maybe it's a family member or
-
child far from God. The enemy whispers, listen,
-
panic, run away, hide, get away, worry, worry more, stress more.
-
And the enemy keeps on pushing, pushing, pushing.
-
But listen, panic is not power. This is this is power.
-
And so life is 10% what happens to us, but 90% of how we
-
respond, 10% what happens to us, and 90% how we respond.
-
Now the greatest victory is to stay calm when everything around
-
you is shaking in fear. Make peace your position of
-
power. Somebody say peace is my
-
position of power. Yeah.
-
You plant your feet when the economy shakes, when there's
-
trouble in the world, when people misunderstand you, when
-
there's rumors about you, gossip about you, things flying around.
-
That is the time to stand in peace and stay calm and know
-
that God will defend you. Leave the rumours under gossip,
-
leave it alone. God will defend you.
-
God will fight for you. Now, I know some of you might
-
think well past the world. That sounds really good.
-
That sounds very encouraging, but you don't know the detail of
-
my situation and the difficulty and the challenges and the
-
pressure that I am going. And yes, you may be right.
-
I might not know the details of your situation, but I know the
-
God of peace and the God of peace.
-
He promises that if you stand and remain calm, He will back
-
you. He will cover you.
-
Heaven will stand for you. Heaven will defend you.
-
Heaven will cover and stand and fight for you.
-
That's the God that I know that he promises if you will take
-
your stand, heaven will stand for you.
-
That's the God that I know. Somebody showed.
-
Hallelujah. Come on.
-
Yeah, he will back you up. And every believer reaches a
-
point where we have done everything.
-
You've prayed every prayer you've done, you've fast, you've
-
prayed, you've been teacher, you've praised, you've worship,
-
you have literally quoted every scripture that you can remember.
-
You've declared the scripture you've declared you have spoken
-
every promise that you you have done everything that you know
-
what to do and thank the Holy Spirit whispers now stand.
-
Oh, I know, oh, is somebody getting this word today?
-
You're getting this and the Holy Spirit comes and we have done
-
every right fast and the Holy Spirit now stand no stand, stand
-
your ground. And God sent me you today to
-
tell you it's time to stand your ground.
-
Now is not the time to give up. Now is not the time to throw in
-
the tower to collapse. Now is the time to stand your
-
ground, to plant your feet and say, I trust God.
-
I made somebody. Come on, give God some praise.
-
OK, now this is what I've learned.
-
There's something else that helps.
-
Just like we put our phones on airplane mode, sometimes you
-
have to put your mind on airplane mode for for a few
-
minutes every day. Put your mind on airplane mode.
-
Turn down the noise, turn down the clutter before the emails
-
are text. Turn it down to yeah, because a
-
quiet heart, yes, from God. And so for me that helps.
-
I'm on every morning, first thing in the morning, quiet my
-
heart. It's the first thing when I wake
-
up, I'm on airplane mode, anchor down TuneIn my ears to hear what
-
the pilot is saying because the pilot's words is going to give
-
me calmness. And the first thing when I when
-
I listen and I'm on airplane mode for those few minutes I
-
receive peace as an anchor, calmness, wholeness.
-
Before the day gets busy, before the crisis hits, I first anchor
-
down and get the pilot's voice. Now let me show you a man who
-
modelled this in Daniel. Now remember in Daniel chapter
Daniel 5 chapter mention
-
5, the king of Babylon died and then a new king from the Medes,
-
Rosa, and he became king. Doris became the new king and
-
the very next chapter Daniel 6A new law was signed.
-
No prayer. OK, it sounds like the days we
-
are living in right now because when I grew up prayer was a big
-
thing in our school. And so they say no prayer
-
allowed. No prayer.
-
You cannot pray to nobody or anyone except to this new the
-
Mead, the new king. And so Daniel heard this.
-
Now listen, this wasn't just a suggestion.
-
This was punishable with death. This is a death sentence.
-
And so Daniel used the news, and here's what he does.
-
Daniel 6, verse 10. But when Daniel learned what the
-
law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in
-
his upstairs room with its windows open toward Jerusalem.
-
He prayed 3 times a day, just as he had always done, giving
-
thanks to his God. I love that phrase.
-
Just as he had always done, just as always like as usual.
-
Now picture this. He went home in now town and he
-
prayed like usual. Open his windows to Jerusalem.
-
Did not hide his faith, did not shrink back in fear or stress
-
about the new law. But he kept his schedule.
-
Nothing in his routine changed as usual.
-
The Bible says he didn't hide his faith.
-
He simply kept on doing what he always did, and that was pray.
-
So he kept his peace. He stood his growl.
-
That's the kind of peace that wins battles.
-
That's the kind of stand. And what helped Daniel to stay
-
steady and to stay calm? Anchors kept him shorted.
-
Now there's many. I'll give you just a couple of
-
anchors. The first anchor that kept him
-
calm was memory. Daniel never forgot what he's
-
God has been faithful, had always been faithful and so he
-
could look back and he's like God was faithful then and so God
-
will be faithful now. And he remembered back when they
-
were taking captor from their country and they were brought
-
into and he's like God protected us through all these years.
-
He's built up a history with God over all these years.
-
By now he's already been advanced this build up a history
-
with God and you remember. So memory builds courage.
-
And he says in Psalm 77, verse 11, I will remember the deeds of
-
the Lord. Yes, I will remember your
-
miracles of long ago. So when anxiety triggers, when
-
anxiety rises, when anxiety or stress or worry comes, think of
-
your own story. Think of your history with God
-
where God's answered your praise.
-
Think how God's carried you, where God's open doors for you,
-
given you jobs and opportunities, where God has
-
opened doors and opportunity. I carried you every day and you
-
thank God, He said, I thank you Lord, that you have done that
-
and you did it before and you will do it again.
-
It's so powerful when we remind God, well, I guess you did it
-
then and you'll do it the same again.
-
He will do it again. And so a second anchor years
-
number 2 was routine. Peace doesn't show up by
-
accident when there is a crisis or when there is difficult.
-
Your childhood stuff, it grows in a daily routine, every day
-
prayer, it grows. Daniel didn't start praying when
-
the Lord came in, OK, When the Lord, he kept on praying.
-
And the Bible says morning, midday, evening, three times a
-
day. So Daniel's prayer routine, that
-
was his strength, that was his rhythm.
-
He got into a routine rhythm, and so he kept it firm and that
-
kept him from the pressure. He could stand strong.
-
And so that daily prayer in your life, that is your routine,
-
that's your rhythm. You pull the rhythm every day
-
you meet with God. And so that's why spending time
-
with God in the morning, sleep matters, spending time with the
-
Lord before you go to a before you the the text and the emails
-
before the noise of the phone, before everything else, meet
-
with God. OK, take a few minutes, pray,
-
read a verse and you are connecting with God.
-
You're connecting with heaven in those moments and you're talking
-
to God before the crisis, before life pushes, before the
-
difficulties and the challenges that rhythm, it keeps you from
-
sliding in the times of pressure when pressure hits.
-
And so Daniel was drove into the lives then.
-
But God send forth his angels to shut the lions mouths.
-
God was fighting for him. Somebody shout Hallelujah.
-
Yeah. Because when Daniel stood in
-
peace, the Angel stood on duty. OK, your job is to stand.
-
God's job is to silence the the mouths of the lions.
-
That's God's job. Your job is to stand.
-
God's job is to shut the lion's mouth.
-
The battle belongs to God. And then somebody shout
-
Hallelujah, somebody say the battle belongs to God.
-
Yeah, it is the Lord's battle. And so this isn't just the story
-
for some time far along ago. This is the strategy for the
-
season we are living in right now.
-
Yes. And so we all face lions in our
-
lives with modern names. We all face it.
-
Medical report that draws at that.
-
OK, a legal letter on the kitchen table.
-
Maybe it's a workplace that marks your faith.
-
Maybe it's a child far away from God so that the strategy is
-
still the same. And here it is.
-
Remember God's faithfulness. Keep the prayer routine, the
-
rhythm. Keep the prayer rhythm and stand
-
your ground in peace. Yeah, I meant somebody.
-
And so Psalm 91 says that God gives his angels charge over
-
you. And so I call them the night
-
shift angels. So they work while you sleep.
-
They're working on your behalf while you wait.
-
God still sends helps. And so heaven answers an
-
unshaken stand. Can you say Amen?
-
And so it brings me to my next point, that when you stand, you
-
don't stand alone. When you look at the ancient
-
wars and the battles, the soldiers, they would March in
-
formation, and it's called the phallus.
-
They put those Shields against one another.
-
And those Shields were so large, so big that that large shield
-
doesn't just cover the soldier, but also the one next to him.
-
That's how big those Shields. So they cover 1.
-
And so in case one of the soldiers stumble or slips, they
-
could quickly shift over and close the gap.
-
And So what happens in that soldiers in that formation,
-
there's a very powerful strategy is they could cover one another.
-
They very quickly 1 soldier stumble, quickly cover.
-
That's a picture of the church. When a brother or a sister feels
-
weak, we cover one another. We very quickly cover one
-
another. Learn to stand strong and watch
-
this with the gladiators because he said, listen, whatever comes
-
out of that, whatever lion is coming out of that thing, and
-
remember in the Colosseum what he said is stand together.
-
Listen, we are stronger together church and God is bringing His
-
church together because whatever is going to come against us, we
-
have got to stand together and we are standing in the age where
-
we are now learning to cover one another.
-
When a brother or sister force or feels weak and you feel like
-
finding you feel like oh, I want to throw in the towel.
-
I want to give up. A brother or sister says listen,
-
lean on my shield. Now when you look at the full
-
armor of God, what does this shield talks about?
-
The shield represents come on the armor of God.
-
The shield represents what? Thank you. 5 There is a five
-
that is transferable. There's a faith that can be
-
shared. We are sharing faith.
-
We are stronger together. Church, somebody say stronger
-
together. Come on, shout it stronger
-
together. Put your eyes together, give God
-
some Christ, somebody Hallelujah, stronger together.
-
And so maybe you feel right now lions are circling, but when you
-
stand and you refuse to flinch, you are following the example of
-
Daniel. And listen, he simply stood his
-
ground in peace. And look at the result.
-
Daniel's stand changed the nation.
-
Oh my God, I believe God is raising up people in the UK in
-
this nation right now that will take a stand against evil.
-
It will shake our nation. God only needs one.
-
And Daniel what 1 stand changed the nation so much so that the
-
king Diaries wrote a new decree and said everyone should
-
reference and respect the God of Daniel.
-
It's coming church. It's coming to our nation.
-
I must somebody give God some faith.
-
Daniel 6 verse 26. Let me read that out to you.
-
He says for you, this is king Darius for he's the living God
-
and he induce forever his Kingdom will not be destroyed.
-
His dominion will never end. He rescues and saves.
-
This is the king speaking. He performs science, oneness in
-
the heavens, and only he has rescued Daniel from the power of
-
the land. Your stand for God can shift
-
your region, your neighborhood, your community.
-
Your stand for God can shift laws.
-
Your stand for God can shift entire workplace, schools,
-
communities, campuses shifted to see the glory of God.
-
Your stand for God. Somebody shot Hallelujah.
-
So let me ask you, where is God asking you to stand?
-
Is it in a business situation or is it in a family to keep on
-
loving where there's constant conflict?
-
God asking you to stand and keep on loving.
-
God asking you in your workplace, business career,
-
maybe it's in your health to keep on believing God for
-
healing when the report, the medical report says it's
-
hopeless. So where is God asking you to
-
make a stand stand in your position of power.
-
Now I want to show you what happens in heaven.
-
Can we go a little deeper here? What happens in heaven when a
-
believer choose to stand because we're going to see this in the
-
book of Acts Chapter 7. Think about Stephen made a
Acts 7 chapter mention
-
stand. Now he was being stung for his
-
faith. The Bible says in verse 55, but
-
Stephen full of the Holy Spirit looked up to heaven and saw the
-
glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
-
Look he said, I see heaven open and the Son of man standing at
-
the right hand of God. Somebody say standing.
-
Now usually the Bible shows Jesus as seated, finished, work
-
on the cross finished, victory done, Jesus seated.
-
But yeah, when Stephen stood firm and he refused to bow to
-
fear, Jesus stood up. My God, I feel the anointing in
-
this place. The seated king stood up and he
-
rose. Think about that.
-
The King of Kings, he stood up, he rose up to his feet.
-
The King of Kings rose up to his to honour, to honour somebody
-
who will not back down. Oh, I feel the power to God.
-
Jesus standing up. Oh yes, my son, Oh, I feel
-
heaven in this place. Oh Lord Jesus standing, honoring
-
a brave soldier, standing up in a wicked, hostile culture while
-
he's being stored Jesus to them. Oh, I want that.
-
I want that somebody. I want that.
-
Yes, God. Oh yes, holy Lord, Oh yes.
-
We honor the courage of Charlie Cook, who's standing up for
-
righteousness in a wicked generation, standing up for the
-
truth and for what is right. And I believe that God is
-
turning that tragedy into a holy revival.
-
Oh, somebody shout out Hallelujah.
-
Oh yes, it's standing around Pampas is awakened young people
-
standing for the truth, a generation standing for revival.
-
Hallelujah. And yes, Stephen's martyrdom,
-
being martyr, who was standing there next to Stephen when he
-
was martyr Saul and his martyr triggered the conversion of Saul
-
who was persecuting the church. Saul became the apostle that
-
planted mortal. He triggered A worldwide
-
evangelism explosion, ignited a fire.
-
Holy goes where? I believe the same thing.
-
Like for God, he's bringing about a global awakening, a
-
global revival on campuses, colleges, schools, universities.
-
He's opening already, people of God.
-
He's breaking loose. The devil has gone too far.
-
He has at least revival. He's touched the wrong person.
-
You should never have touched Charlie.
-
There's no we are all sorry. God is raising up a standard
-
when the enemy comes in and that standard is a man and a woman of
-
God and his wife Erica says you should never have done that.
-
You have unleashed revival, a global awakening, and he's
-
touching every corner of this globe.
-
Are we going to see the greatest harvest of souls coming before
-
Jesus comes back very soon? Hallelujah.
-
I feel the glory of God in this place.
-
And so, yes, what the enemy meant for evil, Oh yeah, God
-
will turn it, forgive it, because God is always one step
-
ahead of the enemy. God is large, God is in charge,
-
and God's got this all covered. Hallelujah, somebody shot.
-
Hallelujah. Second Chronicles 69 For the
-
eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to
-
show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to
-
him. God is looking for people right
-
now. His eyes are looking to see who
-
will stand, who will be the one that will be loyal, that will be
-
committed, who will be the one who will plant their feet in
-
trust so that he can show himself strong.
-
Just when you stand for God, heaven stands for you.
-
I want you to always remember that.
-
And when you make a stand for God, wherever wake up a campus,
-
wherever workplace, wherever might be rough in the natural at
-
that workplace, they might mock you and laugh you and think that
-
you're strange. But listen, heaven stands.
-
When you make a stand at the PILF Centre and you hand out
-
Flyers and you walk up to people and you tell them the gospel,
-
heaven stands with you. Heaven goes with you wherever
-
you evangelise, wherever you go, heaven stands right there with
-
you. That is how God's Kingdom
-
operates over and over. The Bible shows up.
-
When you stand steady in faith, God moves in power, and so when
-
you stand, you invite heaven's divine intervention.
-
Remember Jehoshaphat in Second Chronicles chapter 20?
2 Chronicles 20 chapter mention
-
When three nations came against them, three nations came in,
-
three armies came against Judah and the prophecy.
-
Do not be afraid, the barrel belongs to the Lord.
-
You will not need to fight this. Just stand the prophet of God.
-
Take this. Just take your position.
-
Just take your position, judge your position of power in this
-
hour. Just stand still and you will
-
see the salvation and the deliverance of your God.
-
He will come through. Somebody shot Hallelujah.
-
Let me read it to you. 2nd Granular 20 This is what the
-
Lord says to you. Do not be afraid or discourage
-
because of this vast army, for the battle is not yours, but
-
God. The 17 You will not have to
-
fight this, but take up your positions, stand firm and see
-
the deliverance of the Lord will give you stand, stand your
-
position. Take note of that.
-
The position talks about the position of power.
-
This is used. The same idea is used in the
-
book of Ephesians Paul used he says stand, stand firm.
-
That's what Paul the apostle gives us this revelation to
-
stand firm and Jehoshaphat obeyed and the Bible says that
-
when the choirs sang their songs, oh the Lord, we thank you
-
Lord, your love endures forever. That's when God, heaven fought,
-
God said ambushments and he turned the enemy on itself.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah, Oh glory, beat your God.
-
The battle belongs to the Lord. So I want to throw these
-
scriptures in because I want you to see heavens responds when a
-
believer stands, when you choose to stand.
-
The Bible says in first John 2 calls Jesus our advocate.
-
Imagine standing in a court and the advocate, let's say it's a
-
court of heaven in the heavens and the devil, the enemy accuses
-
and throws all your failures shows, all your mistakes, all
-
weaknesses, every reason that you disqualify.
-
You have to give up your advocate.
-
Your defender stands. What does the advocate do when
-
they're in court? They stand up for you.
-
That's what your advocate will do in a court situation, the
-
court case. They will defend you and Jesus
-
will defend you with his life. He's not going to run out the
-
back door when things get rough. He's going to defend you with
-
his very life. And your advocate stands up and
-
he rises and he says, listen, that place, that one is mine.
-
You devil, you liar, you offering all these fighter, I've
-
paid for all of that. I've paid it in full.
-
And you know what? And the advocate says, I've even
-
paid it with my own blood. I was a martyr.
-
I sweat blood. And I wasn't just inside.
-
It was a long drawn out suffering on the cross dripping
-
blood. That blood is still speaking.
-
The martyrs blood are still speaking today.
-
They are crying out. Oh, we can hear the blood, we
-
can hear the bloody Speaking of mercy.
-
And Jesus said, I paid it in full.
-
And the judge lowers judge, the Father lowers the gavel and he
-
says case closed. You are the righteousness of
-
God. You are called righteous.
-
Come on, somebody. Come on somebody, you are called
-
righteous, favour protected. Yeah, because the Bible talks
-
about the almond of God, about the righteousness of God.
-
The brace plate. Come on, what is the brace
-
plate? The brace plate talks about the
-
righteous of God. When you stand on what Jesus has
-
done, you silence every table in hell.
-
You silence every accusation and allegation of hell.
-
When you stand on what Jesus has done #2 heaven respects courage.
-
Now imagine, just think of this picture of a captain of the
-
army. And this captain is standing,
-
and he's saluting the captain of the armies of heaven.
-
And he's saluting a brave soldier that refused to give up,
-
a brave soldier that refused to retreat.
-
And here comes the commander of chief of Heaven's armies, the
-
captain himself, and he salutes the soldier, the brave soldier,
-
and he looks them in the eye, and he says, well done, good and
-
faithful servants, come on, see Jesus saluting.
-
You see Jesus serving soldier brave once living in the year
-
2025, saluting your bravery, your courage, Oh yes, heaven
-
respects courage. Now let me give you one last
-
scripture and this is incredible.
-
Estral is standing in front of the Red Sea.
-
No bridge, no boat, no way out. Moses stands up and he says the
-
same thing. It's I told you it's all
-
throughout the Bible. This is a very powerful
-
principle for the anytime Church.
-
He says this in Exodus 1413. Do not be afraid.
-
Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring
-
you today. The Egyptians you see today, you
-
will never see again. The Lord will fight for you.
-
You need only to be stopped. You only need to stand in a
-
position of power. Church, When you take your
-
position of power, when you stand your ground, you hold your
-
peace. The Bible says the word declares
-
that the Lord himself will fight for you.
-
Oh Hallelujah. He will fight for you, He will
-
conquer for you. He will defaint you, He will
-
stand for you. And I feel a prophetic push
-
right here and I want to declare this over your life that the
-
Lord will fight over you and your family.
-
I just feel this urge in my spirit right now to release
-
this, to tell you today, church, God will fight for you.
-
He will defend you, He will stand up for you.
-
He's your champion, He's your commander in chief.
-
He will fight for you. And the Bible says, and God will
-
deal with your enemies, the enemies that you see today,
-
whatever. If it's citrus, depression,
-
anxiety, the enemies that you see today, you will see them no
-
more. You will see them no more.
-
I decree on the play in the name of Jesus.
-
The enemies that you see today, you will see them no more.
-
Hallelujah, somebody shall keep us a praise in this place.
-
Hallelujah, God. Yes, cherish.
-
You will see the victory. You will see the salvation of
-
the Lord. You will see the deliverance of
-
the Lord. You will see because the battle
-
belongs to the Lord. God is fighting for you.
-
God is fighting for you. I feel the anointing of the Holy
-
Ghost. Whatever enemy has been
-
troubling you in the night, in the dreams, whatever nightmare,
-
whatever attack you've been, God will deal with it.
-
God will deal with the lies. And that's for a fear that's
-
been tormenting God's people. God will deal with that spirit
-
of fear. You will break that oppression,
-
that intimidation, that spirit of traceable.
-
God will deal with her. God will fight.
-
Tell your neighbor God will fight for you.
-
God will fight for you. Come on, God is fighting for
-
you. Get this revelation today
-
Church. But notice the condition that a
-
stance required and is a position of power of standing on
-
peace. Stand firm, hold your peace.
-
So if the Bible says hold your peace, then God is saying that
-
there is something that is trying to steal your peace.
-
There's something that's trying to steal it, something that's
-
trying to rob it, anxiety, fear, doubt, trying to.
-
But if you can hold on to peace, if you can hold on to it, if you
-
can stand steady, remain calm, stand your ground, then the
-
Creator of the universe goes to work and he works on your behalf
-
and him. God fights for you when he
-
stands and works for you. Nothing can stand against him.
-
Nothing or Novak can stand against God.
-
He's the creator of the universe, somebody that's got
-
all power, all strength. There's no problem or enemy
-
that's too big for God. He's the one on the front ruling
-
the universe, Hallelujah. And so he's the one that we see
-
in the body. He shut the mouths of the lions.
-
And I believe that God is about to shut the mouth of the enemy
-
on the social media, on Facebook, on Instagram.
-
God is about to shut them down. He's going to shut down the
-
enemy. He's going to shut down the
-
lies. Jesus is coming back soon.
-
And the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our
-
God. We went, we went, we went.
-
The Bible says we were church because the battle is we are the
-
winners because God fights for us.
-
God has chosen us and He will work on your behalf.
-
All that we do is you will hold your peace and you will stand
-
your ground and remain at race. And God promises to fight your
-
battles and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
-
When Israel saw the Red Sea, there seems to be no way.
-
But God overrules the Red Sea and he right away through the
-
Red Sea, somebody shout Hallelujah, the battle belongs
-
to the Lord. So hear me, Church, let God
-
fight for you, Let him fight. Your battles He takes.
-
When you stand at peace and you stay calm, God will take the
-
fight. Let him fight.
-
That's a position of power. Maybe you've been saying I'm
-
outnumbered, I feel I'm not good enough.
-
I've been surrounded by loud voices, illegal notice, a letter
-
from a solicitor, a court case, a financial trouble, family
-
trouble. Heaven is saying you are not
-
alone. You are not fighting that
-
situation alone. Heaven is standing with you now.
-
I think about a time we met in Crownwood.
-
This is going back years now, seven years, not far from here.
-
And we're in the meeting and there was a gentleman and he had
-
a very, very difficult immigration case.
-
It was had to do with his passport, his work visas.
-
This was before breakfast. And so the lawyer said this, and
-
this is hopeless. But that gentleman, we prayed
-
and he decided I am going to give this case into the hand of
-
God. God is going to fight this case
-
for me. The battle belongs to God, the
-
battle belongs to the law. And he just stood his peace.
-
Hypers that should have taken months and years were approved
-
in weeks. Yeah, doors opened.
-
They could not explain it. And later, he testified, he said
-
it was like God himself went to the Home Office and got himself,
-
fought the battle for me at the Home Office himself and sorted
-
out the permit, the passport, everything.
-
That's what happens when you give the battle to God.
-
Give him the battle. Somebody let him fight your
-
face. Let him fight your battle.
-
Let God do the fighting and you do the standing.
-
Because when you stand, heaven stands.
-
So plant your feet and say to every storm, every accuser, I
-
will not be moved, I will not be shaken.
-
Listen, the battle is the Lords. Somebody shout, the battle is
-
the Lords, the battle is the Lord's.
-
So when you stand and you stay calm, God fight your battles.
-
Now let me give you 1 simple picture.
-
Lifeguard training. OK, lifeguard training, they
-
will teach you in an emergency, in a situation of drowning.
-
Stay calm. Anybody's done lifeguard
-
training. You lifeguards.
-
OK, so they teach you this, that wolf lifeguard training in the,
-
let's say, open sea or something.
-
What they say is do not splash. Do not flash the water and
-
splash the water. Why?
-
Because you will sink faster. I remember this.
-
I've done this training and they say do not splash and do not
-
flash because you will sink. You will sink down there.
-
Tease makes you to float and when you relax and you at peace,
-
you float until help the emergency service, the rescue
-
services come. So you relax and you float.
-
That's what happens when you stay calm, OK?
-
Because the more that you fight the water, the more that you
-
fight and splash and thrash and panic, the more you're trying to
-
sort out the the thing at work or the family situation or the
-
relationship. I'm trying to sort out this
-
relationship type this e-mail. The more panic you get, the more
-
water you are fighting, the quit.
-
You drain me, you tire when you drowning, that's what it's a
-
drowning. It's a training exhaustion.
-
It's an exhaustion the more you fight the water and and
-
drowning. And so when you stay calm, when
-
you stay at rest, when you relax and you're like give it to God
-
and you relax. I'm not going to worry.
-
I'm not going to stress. I'm going to relax.
-
The stronger you get. That's a revelation.
-
Come on, Sasha, I met somebody. Are you getting this?
-
Let God fight your battle. Let him fight for you.
-
The battle is the Lord. This is over and over in the
-
Bible when you do a study of this, I've seen it over and over
-
the years researches the battle belongs to the Lord.
-
The battle belongs. This is a powerful revelation
-
says that you need to get you know who had this revelation?
-
David. He also David said it on the
-
field against Goliath there there's a one David said it the
-
prophet said it in Jehoshaphat's time.
-
Moses said it to the Israelites at her AC over and over all the
-
apostle again he refers to it in the New Testament and he's a
-
standard because your job is to stand.
-
God's job is to fight the barrel belongs to God.
-
So in closing this week, step into this week with a steady
-
heart. Stand your ground, hold your
-
peace. And after you have done
-
everything, after you've done prayers and stand, stand in
-
peace, stand in trust, stand in the Word of God and watch what
-
heaven does. Because when you stand, heaven
-
stands for you. And he stands as your advocate
-
in the courtroom. He stands as your captain, the
-
commander in chief in the battle, the Amish of Heaven.
-
He stands right beside you in the turbulence, in the storm.
-
He stands over you in the night. He stands in front of you on the
-
path. He stands.
-
And you will look back and you will say I have been through
-
winds, I have been through waves, and the waters should
-
have washed me under. But I have learned and I have
-
found out something in the storm that my anchor speaks it louder.
-
I have found out something in the turbulence that when the
-
pilot speaks power, lose panic, loses power.
-
When the pilot speaks, calmness settle my soul.
-
And so I am not going to bow down to fear.
-
I am going to stand up my ground with peace.
-
And after everything, when it's all through the after
-
everything, I am still standing. Somebody say that I am still
-
standing. Come on, everybody, let's all
-
stand. Everybody on your feet.
-
Stand with me. Stand like you're experiencing
-
and expecting God. Stand like this is your moment
-
right here, right now. When you stand for God, He
-
stands for you. Now maybe you are badly health
-
condition or financial condition or tension in the family.
-
Hear the pilot's voice that I am your shepherd and you will not
-
lack, whether it's finances, whether it's healing.
-
I am the Lord that healeth thee, I lead you to still waters, I
-
bring revival, and I am your source, I am your provider, I am
-
the one that fights for you. I will deal with your enemies.
-
OK, now the battle belongs to the Lord.
-
So if you are in a heavy fight, a heavy difficulty today, give
-
it to God. Give him your battle.
-
Give him that case, that situation in the family, give it
-
to him. If it's a legal issue, if it's a
-
court case, a medical family, storms workplace, just give it
-
to him because God and you say, Lord, if that's you, I want you
-
to raise your hand right now. If you say God, I want to give
-
you my battle, just raise your hand before the Lord.
-
If that is you and you're saying God fight for me, you know, I'm
-
planting my feet on the rock that cannot be shaken, Raise
-
your hands to heaven. And if that's you, I want you to
-
pray out loud with me. Say Father, thank you that the
-
battle belongs to you. I give you every fear, every
-
battle. Anchor me in your peace, Follow
-
me with your spirit, and from this day on, I will stand strong
-
in your strength. Amen.
-
Now put your hand on your heart and I want you to receive this.
-
Pray Father, in the name of Jesus, pour out your peace on
-
every person in this place. I speak to every storm and Lord
-
I pray peace be still. Silence every lion, every
-
accusation, intimidation, every spur of fierce silence.
-
Send the night shift angels favour in courtroom, healing in
-
hospital rooms, reconciliation in family rooms.
-
Surround us with your presence, Lord.
-
Settle our hearts, anoint our feet, anoint feet with the
-
gospel of peace. Lord God, stabilize and kill
-
your people. Lord, I pray right now that you
-
mobilize everyone, that you stabilize everyone with the
-
presence, with the anointing, with the glory of God in this
-
place. I cover each person with the
-
blood of Jesus, the powerful of the blood of Jesus, in the
-
mighty name of Jesus. Somebody shout Hallelujah, give
-
God glory, Hallelujah. Yes, yes, please be stall.
-
Please be stall. God is fighting for you.
-
So let's declare out loud together, say peace is my
-
position. When I stand for God, he stands
-
for me. The battle belongs to the Lord.
-
God is fighting for me. The lion's mouths are shut.
-
I am anchored, I am stabilized, I am still standing.
-
Hallelujah. Come on, somebody give dance
-
your face. So if you would say today that I
-
need peace with God, the first stand of all, Romans 5 says that
-
we have peace with God through Jesus Christ.
-
It is only through Jesus Christ. It starts with surrender.
-
So if you have never given your life to Jesus, I want to give
-
you an opportunity today to give your life to Jesus.
-
Maybe you have drifted and you need to come back.
-
This is your moment, this is your day.
-
So if that's you and you ready to say yes to Jesus, raise up
-
your hand. If there's anybody, yes, I see
-
that hand. Anybody else?
-
Yes, yes, thank you. OK now I want us to pray this
-
with life in your heart with a genuine spirit.
-
Write this out loud. Everybody say Jesus, I'm fight
-
you to come into my life to be my Lord and my savior are afraid
-
of my sins. Come into my heart.
-
I give you my life. Follow me with your spirits from
-
this day forward, I am yours. I'm a child of God.
-
Come on somebody celebrate Hallelujah.
-
Keep God some glory.
