-
No, listen, I want to announce today because God is not letting
-
us limp out of 2025 tired, worn down, OK?
-
No, not you know, we are not limping out of this year.
-
You know, we are going to finish strong.
-
How many say yes, we're going to finish strong this year?
-
OK, that is an amazing response. Thank you God.
-
So we're going to finish strong because we're going to crossing
-
over 2026 with fresh fire, fresh faith, fresh favor on our lives.
-
OK, somebody shot Hallelujah because I am ready to finish
-
strong. I am ready to crossover.
-
Are you ready? Are you with me?
-
So so I'm ready to crossover, finish strong.
-
OK, So we're not going to drag when dragging the old baggage,
-
OK. Into the new year, the regrets,
-
the hurts, OK, the the bad habits that's been holding us
-
back, weighing us down. Now we are leaving that behind
-
today, OK. And I have decided to follow
-
Jesus, right? I am not dragging pain into my
-
promise. Oh, Oh my Lord.
-
Yeah, I have decided to follow Jesus.
-
You know, because some of us are like that old suitcase we were
-
meant to unpack last season, unpack last holiday and but it's
-
still that old suitcase is still sitting there in the corner
-
without sandy socks and that half eaten bag of crust from the
-
from the the last holiday season.
-
You see, the problem is when you cram everything like yesterday's
-
gargage it drive from into one bag.
-
The problem with that is that it, it, it, everything starts to
-
swell. You know what I'm talking about.
-
That the old baggage, you know, The Dirty laundry, the stinky
-
socks, the wrinkles shirt, OK, The weights of this day, you see
-
it, it ruins the next trip, the new holiday trip.
-
That that's the problem with old baggage, OK?
-
The problem with dirty laundry, OK, Everything starts to smell.
-
Everything starts to just weigh us down, keep dragging us down.
-
And that is exactly what happens when we try to carry the old
-
weights into a new season, the old baggage into a new season.
-
So, Christian Church, we are not taking dirty laundry, stinky
-
stocks, OK With us, OK. Into 2026, can you say?
-
I mean somebody? Yeah.
-
So leave the sand, leave the crisps, OK?
-
Leave the old package because God is giving you a brand new
-
suitcase full of new mercies every morning.
-
Come on, somebody. Hallelujah.
-
So how many of you are ready for a fresh start?
-
Are you ready? OK, three people, right?
-
OK, only three people. I see those three hands brought
-
forth. OK, ready for a fresh start,
-
Right. Only three people.
-
Am I in the right church today? If I come to the right place
-
today, I get like 3A means over here my still waking up, still
-
digesting Turkey. It's been a big Christmas lunch.
-
OK, so let's try again. Wave your hand if you're ready
-
for a fresh start. Yeah.
-
Ready for a fresh start? OK, praise God.
-
Ready for a fresh start because I want to show you how to cross
-
over clean without The Dirty laundry, without the baggage,
-
without the weights. I want to show you how to
-
crossover clean into a fresh brand new start OK because this
-
is our crossover moment so today the title of the message I'll
-
put it up here for us is crossing over clean.
-
So the title of the message is crossover clean, and we're going
-
to be in the book of Joshua chapter 3, and there's five.
Joshua 3 chapter mention
-
And so this is our key phrase today.
-
The theme, OK, that I want you to grab hold of today.
-
That I am not crossing, I am not dragging my pain into my
-
promise, OK, I want you to grab hold of that, that I'm not
-
dragging pain into my promise. Say that with me.
-
I am not dragging pain into my promise.
-
OK? So that is going to be our key
-
phrase today. But listen, this is bigger than
-
just a calendar flow. The end of the year is bigger
-
than just a date change on a calendar.
-
It's much bigger than that. It's a spiritual doorway, OK?
-
It's much bigger than just a date change.
-
It's just in the Bible, God's always marking crossings, OK?
-
From wilderness to promised land, OK, From bondage to
-
freedom, from old season to new seasons, God's always marking
-
crossings. So this is a very powerful
-
meeting, crossover meeting season today for us today.
-
And so, like the Israelites, yeah, I'm going to just give you
-
some background. They're standing on the edge
-
right there of the Jordan River. And so as they're standing at
-
the Jordan, they are steering across to the promised land.
-
Now they are on this side. So they are about to cross over
-
into the promised land now, just like that.
-
This is our crossover moment somebody, because this is the
-
last service of the year 2025 before we crossover into a new
-
chapter. So we are not, again, we are not
-
limping out tired or just drifting or casually, just like
-
we are stepping and crossing over on purpose.
-
So we are not closing and ending tired.
-
We are ending victorious. OK, Come on somebody,
-
Hallelujah. Are you with me?
-
OK, somebody say out loud, I am closing this year strong.
-
Start again. I'm closing this year strong.
-
I am crossing over clean. Say that I am crossing over
-
clean, so I want you to grab hold of that, that I'm closing
-
strong. We're closing this year strong
-
and we are crossing over clean. And I'm going to show you this
-
revelation that God has shared with me that I want to give to
-
you. Come on, give Jesus one more big
-
shout. Hallelujah.
-
Yeah, yeah. Let's go to the work.
-
Joshua chapter 3, verse 5, it says that Joshua told the
-
people, consecrate yourselves for tomorrow.
-
The Lord will do amazing things among you right now.
-
This is what Joshua now I want to read it to you in another
-
translation as well. It says, yeah, Joshua told the
-
people, purify yourselves for tomorrow.
-
The Lord will do great wonders, man.
-
You let's pray quick, Jesus, do what only you can do.
-
Heal what need to heal, close what need to close, free what
-
need to be free. Lord, give us clean hands and
-
pure hearts. And Lord, as we crossover into a
-
brand new year lay 2026, be marked with great wonders,
-
amazing things amongst us, sights, wonders and miracles and
-
somebody sharp. Hey, man, come on somebody.
-
The castle plays Hallelujah. OK, So Josh, Sean, they on this
-
river on their Jordan on the edge, ready to cross over.
-
And so he's told the people consecrate yourselves or purify
-
yourselves, whatever translation, because the Lord is
-
about to do great wonders, amazing things among you.
-
Now that is your word church. I feel anointed that's your God
-
is speaking. I believe in all my heart.
-
God is speaking the same word over us today.
-
The same word is speaking over us that God is about to do
-
wonders. I hear the Spirit of God saying,
-
kid, ready, get ready, get better, get ready, because I'm
-
about to do great wonders among you.
-
Who's receiving? Who's receiving?
-
Who's receiving? You also open, you're receiving.
-
Get ready. I am about to do amazing things,
-
says the Spirit of God. Come on, keep God some flies in
-
this club. Mighty size, oneness and
-
miracles. Great wonders, Great wonders.
-
Come on, somebody shout great wonders.
-
Yeah, come on, say signs on this.
-
And miracles. Science wonders and miracles.
-
Yeah. Tell somebody great wonders.
-
Yeah, Yeah. Amazing things.
-
That's what the Bible says. Amazing things.
-
No, no, tell somebody amazing things.
-
God, it's about the amazing things amongst us.
-
Come and say amazing things. I feel the anointing in this
-
place. That is your word church.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah. Yeah.
-
Now listen. OK.
-
So yeah, this is where it starts.
-
Great science wonders, miracles, great amazing things.
-
Here. It starts crossing over clean.
-
OK, pass the wall right now. How do we do this?
-
How do we crossover clean? That's why we're here today.
-
I'm glad you asked because I'm going to show you and from the
-
word of God how we did this. Number one, it starts with a new
-
mindsets. The Bible says in Romans chapter
Romans 12 chapter mention
-
12, be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
-
Oh, somebody's getting lost. It's a renewed mind with a fresh
-
focus. We're talking about crossing
-
clean, crossing over clean. OK, so we must lock into a new
-
mindset, into the mind of Christ, a mindset that is focus
-
with a fresh focus. Now, you may have been through
-
some stuff in 2025. Disappointments, OK,
-
discouragement. Some shake packs, closed doors,
-
some battles you didn't choose, pain you didn't deserve.
-
But I'm here to tell you. I'm here to announce somebody.
-
That's not how your story. I feel annoyed to get this place
-
because, listen, the devil would love for you to end this year
-
better. Discouraged, offended, cynical
-
with flame, low. But when you receive the word of
-
the Lord, that's when you're going to end this year.
-
You'll end this year with a new mindsets.
-
You're going to end this year with a fresh focus.
-
Hallelujah. Somebody said Hallelujah.
-
So we're going to finish strong. Are you with me?
-
Can you say I made somebody? Yeah, And God gives us the
-
strategy for the last stretch. And this is in Philippians 3.
-
Paul says verse 13, but I focus on this one thing, forgetting
-
the past, looking forward to what lies ahead.
-
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the
-
heavenly price for which God through Christ Jesus is calling
-
us. So he says, I focus on one thing
-
so important because that is a focused, A renewed, a new
-
mindset is a mind that is focused.
-
Paul doesn't say, oh, I'm doing 100 things.
-
He's saying there's one thing I am focusing.
-
I have got a new mind, a focused mind.
-
And so that is strong finishes because we're talking about
-
finishing strong right now. Strong finishes, they simplify
-
one thing, focus, and they stay focused.
-
That is strong finishes because finishes, this is the key for
-
finishes. They lock in, finishes, focus,
-
and then this picture goes on. Forgetting the past, forgetting
-
what is behind. OK, but that doesn't mean
-
denying it. It does.
-
It's not in denial. Paul doesn't say, OK, we forget
-
that we are denying that what's happened.
-
We are not pretending that it didn't happen.
-
He does not say we are going act like he didn't hurt.
-
Paul is not in denial when he says forget the past.
-
What he's saying is that I am not living there, okay?
-
I'm not living in the old regrets, in the old shine.
-
I'm not putting a permanent residence in offense.
-
I am not relaying and replaying and reminding the mistake, the
-
failure, the difficulty. I am not going to replay that
-
because I am not camping in yesterday.
-
So today when he says we are forgetting that, we are not in
-
denial. We are not denying what
-
happened, the pain, the difficulty.
-
We are not in denial. Acting that it didn't hurt, OK,
-
But what we are doing is we are refusing to live there.
-
So yes, we have made mistakes, but the Bible says that God is
-
good and faithful. He has forgiven us.
-
Yes, you have lost something, but God restores.
-
Yes, people have hurt you, but God heals, OK?
-
Yes, something stopped, but God, he keeps on writing.
-
God's not done writing your story.
-
He's just turning the pipes. Come on, somebody say Amen.
-
OK, so grab hold of this word because I want to go deeper
-
because Paul takes us deeper and he says, listen, the very he
-
says I press on. Now when he says I press on,
-
that is not talking about luck. He's not talking about
-
everything was working out the way I wanted.
-
Now when he says I press on, that is a decision, OK?
-
That is a renewed mind with fresh focus.
-
So right here at the end of 2025, draw a line in the sand
-
and make a decision that I am not slowing down, I'm not
-
quitting. Yeah, or giving up yet in
-
December, right? I am finishing strong.
-
Make a decision that I'm finishing strong and I'm
-
crossing over clean. Oh, I feel anointing on that.
-
Now. You don't need a perfect year to
-
finish strong. You need a new mindset with a
-
fresh focus. OK, now a fresh focus with a new
-
mind that you are closer than before, Closer to freedom,
-
closer to healing, closer to restoration, closer to that turn
-
around that you have been praying for.
-
You are closer. So don't sit down at the finish
-
line, will you? Closer.
-
Don't throw in the towel now it's we're in the last stretch.
-
Don't. This is not the time to slow
-
down or this is not the time to fade.
-
This is the time to focus that I am finishing strong because I am
-
focused again. Say that with me, I'm finishing
-
strong because I am focused again.
-
Come on, put your hands together somebody because I want to show
-
you this in the book of Hebrews chapter 12 verse one, very
Hebrews 12 chapter mention
-
powerful. It says let us lay aside every
-
weight. OK, everybody on the line that
-
let us say aside every weight and this sin which so easily
-
says us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set
-
before us, looking to Jesus the author and the finisher of our
-
faith. Now did you catch that, that the
-
Bible says looking unto Jesus. So that's where we focus.
-
We fix our focus on Jesus. That's what the Bible says.
-
OK, so when you fix your eyes on Jesus, not your feelings, not
-
the circumstances, not the headlines, he did not say focus
-
on your feeling. Oh, I don't feel very good to
-
that. He does not say that.
-
He says focus on Jesus. So fit your focus on Jesus.
-
And then he goes on and he says that.
-
Well, in fact, he says in the very first verse, he says they
-
let us lay aside the weights. So that's heavy.
-
Throw it off. Throw off the regret, the
-
bitterness, the chip on the shoulder.
-
Oh, that person, Oh, offended. Oh, that, throw it off.
-
Love is not easily offended. Jesus said forgive.
-
They don't even know what they do forgive.
-
Come on now. No one's perfect.
-
We are brothers and sisters. We forgive.
-
Everybody's got mistakes. Come on.
-
We are not going to be hard on each other.
-
We're going to forgive each other.
-
We're going to let go. Hey, that's my brother, My
-
sister. I love you.
-
I love you. Oh, you cannot do anything to
-
hurt me. I love.
-
I forgive. That's so important that we
-
throw up. Let go because that package is
-
heavy. Oh, boy, it's heavy.
-
That unforgiveness. Let go and listen.
-
This is the picture we check in at the airport.
-
The airport. That's not key.
-
How cute your suitcase is. Oh, OK.
-
They don't care how cute the suitcase is.
-
They just put it on the scale. As I put the suitcase on the
-
scale and they look at me, they say, Sir, it's too heavy.
-
I'm like, oh, Gee, OK, the bag is too heavy.
-
No, I can argue later on and say, hey, can I argue with the
-
scale? You can't.
-
I cannot argue. They say your baggage, you're
-
about to get on this fly. Your baggage is too heavy.
-
You understand what I'm saying? The baggage, it's OK.
-
And so listen, can we say yes, Lord?
-
Oh God, yes, we are ready. Evan says yes, but in 2026 we
-
are going to travel lighter. Oh, I feel that anointing some
-
travel lights, travel lights, travel lights.
-
Come on. Some lady show travel lights,
-
travel lights, travel lights. Oh, Hallelujah.
-
Because listen, we can, we cannot reach our base potential.
-
I cannot run very fast if I have a lot of bags on me.
-
I mean, the other day I've got Josh on my shoulders and I'm low
-
and I'm trying to like go like this.
-
So the pizza and Paul are running.
-
I'm not going to be. The thing is, when you have got
-
something heavy on you, you cannot run your full potential.
-
You cannot run fast. So the same with flying.
-
We cannot fly that far with baggage.
-
That's why the Bible says let's throw off the baggage.
-
And so today we are going to do like wise people do.
-
We have to count and take in. We're going to open the suitcase
-
and we're going to take out what doesn't belong.
-
Are we going to say we are leaving that?
-
Yeah. Today we are leaving regret,
-
mistakes, worries, fear. Today we are leaving it behind.
-
We are not taking that with us into 2026.
-
We are leaving it because I'm travelling, all right.
-
And so if we are going to crossover clean, we must let go
-
of what ended because some of the heaviness that people carry,
-
it's not even what is happening today.
-
It's something that's happened in the It's something that's
-
already ended and now it's dragging Yesterday from what
-
didn't work out, from a mistake, from a hurt.
-
But I came with the word today that there are some endings.
-
That's necessary. Necessary endings is not
-
rejection, it's redirection, I mean, and so it's the God
-
pushing you away. It's God moving you forward.
-
That's why it's ended, OK? Because sometimes God ends a
-
thing because he has got something greater.
-
That's why he ends a thing. He ends this one because I've
-
got something greater. It's like, but I want blue.
-
Oh my, I want to stay in 2025, but 02025 there's something
-
better. God says let go.
-
So interesting because that thing is like scaffolding.
-
And when you look at scaffolding, it's not a
-
permanent structure. Scaffolding is useful when the
-
building is going up. The building scaffolding, OK, It
-
stabilizes. When you put the scaffolding, it
-
gives support, it gives access. Come on, you know when the
-
building goes up, that's the scaffolding, OK, It stabilizes
-
the process. But listen, when the building is
-
up and the building is complete, nobody says, oh, let's keep the
-
scaffolding. I mean, come on.
-
I mean, the building is up. The building is complete.
-
What a beautiful building. Nobody says, hey, keep that
-
scaffolding up. No, that was a scaffolding
-
season. And so now that it's complete,
-
the scaffolding comes down. Now when we take the scaffolding
-
away, that's not losing, that's progress and that's a word for
-
somebody is mourning over something that God is removing
-
out of your life, but God is saying I'm removing that out of
-
your life because it was scaffolding as I am 4318.
-
Forget the former things. Do not dwell on the path.
-
Meaning we don't live there. See, I am doing a new thing now.
-
We love the new thing, but it takes faith to accept the ending
-
of what God is ending because what he's ending.
-
To accept the ending. It makes room for the new.
-
So yeah, when God closes the door, keep your fingers and your
-
feelings out of the door. Because when God says that is
-
closed, he's not taking from you, He's protecting you.
-
When God says that door is closed, keep your feelings and
-
fingers out of that door, because God is taking you
-
forward. God is promoting you.
-
Oh my God, Hallelujah. And the Scripture gives us this
-
picture. In the book of Joshua, chapter
Joshua 5 chapter mention
-
5, the Bible says that the mana stopped, ceased.
-
So for 40 years, every morning they received supernatural.
-
They receive mana. That's enough to sustain them in
-
the wilderness every day, supernatural bread.
-
But then one day it stopped. Suddenly it stopped.
-
OK, now the mana stopped, was it punishment?
-
Was it because they're living and said?
-
Was it because they they lost favor or they did so no, the
-
reason the man has stopped was because God had something
-
better. They're so supple.
-
How many of you know there's a difference between the world
-
that is upon this land? OK, the manner was just enough.
-
Now there is a promised land. God has got a new level.
-
He's got overflow. Listen, stop the manner, because
-
if the manner did not stop, they might stay in the wilderness on
-
that level, satisfied with just enough.
-
In the meantime, God has got overflow, a new level.
-
He wants to move forward and advance you to more.
-
How come somebody's getting this to go?
-
So it's so simple. When it stopped, that is a sign
-
that something data is coming. It's stopped.
-
It's a sign that the promised land is coming.
-
The man not stopped for a reason.
-
God stopped it. Necessary endings.
-
Some of you, you are grieving because something has stopped.
-
In 2025, a door closed, a season shifted, something.
-
The routine stopped. But that's not losing.
-
That's promotion. That is a sign the reason it
-
stopped. It's a sign that you're going to
-
something bitter, higher, more advanced.
-
If somebody plays golf. This is the very same principle.
-
In first Kings Chapter 17, Elijah sits at the brook and
1 Kings 17 chapter mention
-
then the Ravens is feeding. It's working.
-
It's provisioned. The brook stops.
-
What's it because? Elijah said no.
-
The brook stopped because God was not abandoning him.
-
The brook stopped because God was advancing him.
-
Yeah, sometimes what worked stops working because God is not
-
abandoning you. God is moving you forward.
-
So if something dried up and something stopped in 2025,
-
whether it's a relationship or a situation at the career or job
-
situation, don't panic, don't beg, don't bleed over a handle
-
of a closed door, but stand on the Word of Faith.
-
This ending is necessary. This is my necessary ending.
-
This needs this. This was a necessary ending.
-
And you stand on that word that God is changing my seasons.
-
Why? Because he's preparing me to
-
blossom. Hallelujah.
-
Now here, this deep in your spirit.
-
God never ends your story in a mess.
-
Are you getting this now? I want to read you this.
-
Amazing so I never ends your story and I'm going to read this
-
amazing powerful verse. I want you to get this but grab
-
this grab hold of this word in your spirit.
-
There's a God never ends your story in defeat.
-
OK, you're getting this. I want to give you this powerful
-
verse. God never ends your story in
-
defeat. 2nd Corinthians 214 Now thanks be to God who always
-
leads us in triumph. So it always leads us in
-
triumph, always leads us into victory.
-
Not sometimes when things go our way, not when it's been a good
-
deal, not when things are working.
-
Always. God always leads us into
-
victory. OK, so let me say this way.
-
So if you are in a mess, in a difficult situation and things
-
are not where it's supposed to be, your career, your family is
-
not where it's supposed to be, God comes, He turns it around
-
for your good and it leads us into victory.
-
God always leads us into victory.
-
So if you're in the middle of a mess, if you're under pressure,
-
under a difficult situation, God comes, He turns it around.
-
He always works evil for your good.
-
He works it out for your victory, for triumph.
-
That is what that scripture says.
-
So God is right. God never ends your story in
-
defeat. Hallelujah.
-
Now God turns a mess into a message.
-
He turns battles into testimonies.
-
Now maybe you're thinking, OK, pass the wall.
-
I want to finish strong. This is what I want to finish
-
this year, strong. I want to receive this word.
-
But, you know, things have been really difficult.
-
It's been a rough year. It's been hard.
-
And yes, we understand that. You know, many of us, we've
-
carried responsibilities, OK, standing and fight for our
-
family, pressing through the pressures, OK?
-
And it's been harder. But that is why God, he has got
-
a gift for the last stretch. And I want to minister this to
-
you because it's called a finishing grace.
-
So God has got grace to finish strong.
-
You're getting this, that there's a finishing grace
-
because finishing strong is not just try harder, OK, finishing
-
strong, it is spiritual. And so because the last stretch,
-
you're not just going to need motivation, but you are going to
-
need grace for that large stretch.
-
Now. So anybody can start easy.
-
That's the easy part. Starting part is easy.
-
Anybody can start because there's excitement.
-
Starting a marriage, it's exciting.
-
Start a marriage. It's the easy part.
-
Starting a marriage, starting a business, starting a ministry,
-
starting a new career, it's all exciting.
-
Oh, I'm starting with a new job, new career.
-
Starting is easy part, very easy because we're starting this
-
adrenaline. Just start easy.
-
The problem is many people when it comes in the middle, towards
-
the end path, that is where people start whispering, what's
-
the use? Why is this taking so long?
-
Because during the middle and end part, that's where there is
-
discouragement, setbacks, that is where there is delays.
-
It's like, why it seems like things are taking so long?
-
And so there is emotions. And so people are saying, well,
-
listen, it's taking too long. I'll just fade and give up and
-
throw in the towel. But we just read earlier, the
-
Bible says that God is the author and the finisher of our
-
faith. OK, Now the author and finisher,
-
that means both, OK, not just starting the starting, God is
-
the starter, but He's also the finisher.
-
So when God started, He'll finish, He'll complete as well.
-
OK, so it means that God didn't just start you, but He will also
-
complete you. OK, so if God has given you the
-
grace to begin, He will give you the grace to complete.
-
So God doesn't just put a dream or a desire in your heart and
-
then midway or towards the end, God all of a sudden just leaves
-
you halfway. It says in Philippians one verse
-
6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you
-
will carry it on to completion. So when you feel weak, when you
-
feel tempted to give up, say this to yourself that God, you
-
have started me. This is where you have started.
-
This is where you have called me to be and you have brought me
-
this far. Now, God, if you have brought me
-
this far for all these years, you're not dropping me now.
-
You're not leaving me now. You're the author and the
-
finisher. You started my marriage, you
-
started my career, you started my you're going to complete it.
-
So we are not giving up yet in the middle of before the end,
-
OK, God gives us these finishing grace.
-
Grace say that with me. God is giving me finishing grace
-
surrogate. God is giving me finishing grace
-
to finish the race. I meant because you know the
-
enemy. He fights finishers, the enemy
-
does not resist starters, he doesn't panic when people start
-
because the devil is seen. Many people start something and
-
then in the middle somewhere, they fight, give up.
-
So the starters, the enemy, the devil is not worry.
-
He's not panicking about starting a new career, the
-
business, a charity and ministry starting a year.
-
But when you keep on honouring God, when you keep on showing up
-
for church, when you keep on growing, when you keep on moving
-
forward, when you keep on going and ongoing and serving, when
-
you keep up, that's where the pressure comes.
-
But don't miss really, the resistance, because the
-
resistance, the pressure, that intensity is a sign that you're
-
closer. Come on, it's a proof.
-
Oh, Hallelujah. That resistance, that intensity,
-
that pressure, that push back is proof that you're closer to
-
finish line. Is this helping somebody?
-
I thank God for finishing grace. Finishing grace.
-
It's like, oh Lord, this year has been a long one.
-
The end is I'm like getting tired.
-
God's like this finishing grace because there's strength that
-
God puts in US. It's a strength that we don't
-
even always aware of, we don't know about.
-
It's a strength that is reserved.
-
It's like it's reserved that's hidden until you need it.
-
I know what it is to run a 400 meter hurdles in my country.
-
I was #1 I say South Africa. I know what it is to run over
-
the last hurdle. Lactic acid burns your muscles.
-
I was a professional athlete. I know what it is, especially
-
the last hurdle and you have the finish line.
-
You see it right over there and you run and you see and you are
-
reaching out for that finish line.
-
Everything in your body is like collapse wants to collapse.
-
And this is what we studied. There is something that kicks in
-
when you see that finish line, something.
-
There's a strength that God gives you.
-
You're not aware of it, you don't know about, and it's all
-
you need it, OK. It's like a vehicle cruising on
-
the flat roads and it's just cruising smoothly because I like
-
the four by four vehicles. And then all of a sudden you hit
-
this hill and this steep hill, when it goes up like this,
-
something kicks in, The turbos kicks in if you drive with Nick,
-
right? I mean, next to when there is,
-
but those turbos kick in. It's not when we're cruising.
-
When does the turbos actually when you what, refit Because you
-
said to me the one time it what? That's it.
-
So yeah, that's when the turbos kick in.
-
But don't cruise control. Oh, life is green light.
-
It's the moment you hit that resistance, the moment the enemy
-
sees you are making progress, he increases the heating, increases
-
the intensity. God says, right, let's give them
-
some finishing grace. Let's give them some strength,
-
That strength in reserve. Yeah, yeah, I got and and it
-
just kicks in that strength and I'm like, Oh my goodness,
-
finishing strength, that strength in reserve.
-
And you know that, that push that you just get, you didn't
-
know it was there yesterday. That piece, you cannot explain
-
it. And listen, the strength as your
-
days are so, so your strength, so as the days, oh, this day is
-
hard, strength kicks in. This is Deuteronomy.
-
What's this? Deuteronomy 53.
-
And this is very powerful because as your days go, yeah,
-
verse 25, watch this, it says as your days, so shall your
-
strength be. OK.
-
So the strength you will have, you will have what you need when
-
you need it. You'll have it.
-
That moment. This is a crunching moment over
-
the last hurdle. Oh, my lung.
-
Oh, I called, I called. That's when it kicks in.
-
You will have it. What you need when you need it.
-
Oh, Lord, this is the end of the month.
-
How am I going to play the bulls?
-
How am I going to play the electric?
-
How am I going to play the reins?
-
How am going to play? It's the end of the month.
-
Finish it. Grace kicks in one phone call.
-
We are wiring some money. We are sending finances.
-
When we started this church, we had nothing.
-
We had nothing. I get one phone call from South
-
Africa, a guy that I haven't spoken to, he said, listen, God
-
spoke to me, I'm selling my property.
-
I'm wiring money over to you. I'm sending you money for the
-
Gee, we were about to die. We had nothing.
-
I never liked the government, not once tense of coming to this
-
country. I said God, you are my source,
-
not the government. No, Jesus is my source.
-
I said God, you called me out of a job in Bristol, sitting behind
-
the desk earning big salary. You call me out of the family,
-
you are going to provide for me. I'm not going into government
-
housing or benefit. You are going to provide for me.
-
And then I start getting calls from South Africa.
-
People are sending money from South Africa.
-
This team, God knows that last stretch.
-
Think about Raidmond at the Olympics.
-
There is run in the race, and I know what it is because I've run
-
a lot of races. And so Derek Redmond on the
-
Olympic Games, in the race he pulled his hamstring.
-
Now that's very painful. A hamstring pool is very
-
painful. And he's running and right there
-
in the hamstring pool and everything in his body is in
-
pain and says just throw in the towel, stop.
-
But he refused to quit. This is the Olympics.
-
I've trained for years for the Olympics.
-
I'm going to keep on even if I limping up.
-
And so when he pulled that, he refused.
-
His dad saw it. Now his dad is all the way up in
-
the pavilion, in the stands, and his dad made his way down
-
change. And his father broke through
-
security and he broke through all of that protocol just to get
-
onto that track to run after his son got his limping with a
-
hamstring, pulled hamstring. And he carried him.
-
Come on son. And he helped him through that
-
finish line. My godfather beating his son,
-
his son is Jesus over that finish line.
-
Now. He didn't come first, but he
-
didn't finish aloud. That is a picture of God's grace
-
for us Church, if you feel you cannot give the next step, if
-
everything in you feels that you cannot carry on, you feel like
-
you're throwing in the towel, Listen, God's grace is with you.
-
Your Father, your Daddy is with you.
-
He's carrying, He's helping you grace.
-
He comes, He strengthens you, He stabilizes you, He holds you up,
-
He carries you through the finish.
-
And so today. You might be lumping, but you're
-
still moving forward. You might feel tired and worn
-
down, but you're not defeated. I mean, somebody.
-
Now here's heaven's perspective, the new mindset that God's
-
putting in you. We already know the outcome.
-
We already know how the story ends.
-
Come on, church. We've read the Bible.
-
We have read the last final book of the Bible.
-
And I've got good news. It says we win.
-
We know the outcome. Hey, we win.
-
The fight is fixed. We know the outcome.
-
Yeah, back in South Africa, I had tickets to watch the
-
Springboks. It lost the stars for beautiful
-
big state right opposite. I went to school there and I'm
-
looking forward to this amazing match, this game, great sports
-
match. I'm like, wow, got you and all
-
something urgent. It was like a work situation.
-
It was it's unfortunate I could not attend the match, the game.
-
So when I decided I'm like, all right, I cannot attend the
-
match, but on see, I'm going to record it.
-
OK, So I recorded the game and so I did my work shift and
-
finish all of that. And so later I watched the
-
replay. Now what's amazing is so I'm
-
like, OK, I, I wait. The way you watch, you watch it
-
different. Everything changes when you
-
watch it on a replay. When you know the outcome, you
-
know the results. Somebody is going to get this
-
today because listen, you know the outcome and and I'm like,
-
OK, so the Springboks are against the All Blacks or what?
-
And so somebody already said, listen, relax, your team won.
-
So now I'm watching the game. OK, so the game is already
-
finished. The victory is already settled.
-
You already know the victory, OK, but now you are watching the
-
recording. Oh my goodness, that first half
-
is messy. It's rough.
-
I mean, the opponents, they already have tries.
-
They're already ahead, and it looks like you're losing ground.
-
It looks like this game is just really messy and we're not going
-
to make this one. But you don't panic, so you're
-
watching the replay. Why don't you panic?
-
Why don't you fall apart? Why don't you worry when you're
-
watching the replay and the other team, the opponents
-
scoring tries? Why don't you worry?
-
You already know the result. You already know the score.
-
You already know, so we already know the outcome.
-
Judge Heaven's perspective. God already knows how it ends.
-
Oh, what about AI? What about wars?
-
Rumours of war? God knows the end.
-
We win. God already knows the outcome.
-
You already knows. God has already seen your
-
victory. God has already seen the
-
comeback. God has already seen the turn
-
around. God has already seen your
-
breakthrough. God has already seen it.
-
He knows the outcome. He knows that you win.
-
He knows the end from the beginning.
-
He knows the victory. He knows.
-
So that is why we can relax. We can live with faith, relax
-
even though it looks like, wow, this, this match, we, we, it
-
seems like we're losing ground here.
-
It looks I don't even know if we're going to win this.
-
We really know the outcome. Sometimes it looks like
-
circumstances are going this politics are going this way, AI
-
is going this way. This is this, this is chaos.
-
But hang on, God is the Creator of the entire United States and
-
He gave it to us. So this is heaven's perspective
-
that we know the outcome, we know the results.
-
So as we come to a close, let me go to where we started this
-
message back to Joshua 3, verse 5.
-
Let's go full circle. Consecrate.
-
Joshua told the paper, consecrate yourself.
-
So tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.
-
OK, now I love that because consecration is not punishment,
-
it is preparation. So God is getting you ready for
-
great wonders. God is getting us ready to do
-
amazing things among us. That's why he's saying crossover
-
clean. That's why he's saying
-
consecrate, because he's getting us ready for time's wonders and
-
miracles. And that's why Psalm chapter 24
Psalms 24 chapter mention
-
asks the question we all have to answer at a crossing moment.
-
And this is it. It says in verse 3, whom I have
-
sent to the mountain of the Lord, whom I stand in his holy
-
place, the one who has clean hands and a pure heart.
-
In other words, if we are going to go to another level, so we're
-
going to go higher. OK, So going from wilderness to
-
promised land, that's a higher level.
-
Going to a higher level. We cannot keep on carrying on
-
and holding on to lower things. OK, let me say this, if we are
-
going to go onto a higher level, the promised land, the overflow,
-
the better the science one, OK, We cannot hold onto the manner
-
in the wilderness because the promised land there is overflow.
-
OK, So clean hands, it's about what we are doing on the
-
outside. Pure hearts is about the motives
-
of our hearts. And God isn't saying to shame
-
you. He's saying to free us because
-
the Bible says that we're the spirit of the Lord is there is
-
freedom. So this is not a shame moment.
-
It's a freedom moment. It's a crossing over moments.
-
I mean, and so think about years, Israel, Joshua standing
-
with his people, people of Israel, they're standing at the
-
edge right there on the Jordan River, stepping across at the
-
promised land. Now they have been there for 40
-
years in the wilderness, 40 years of surviving, 40 years of
-
dust, setbacks, delays, lessons. But now they are now finally in
-
the final stretch, right there in the last before they
-
crossover. And so Joshua doesn't say,
-
right, everybody pack more manner.
-
We're crossing over, pack more manner because we don't know if
-
it's going to be put. No, OK, He doesn't say bring
-
more, pack more, load more. He says consecrate yourselves.
-
OK, so this is a moment. Purify yourselves so that we can
-
cross over clean, OK, not with baggage, not with The Dirty
-
laundry. We're not crossing over from
-
2025 to 26 with baggage, with weights.
-
OK? So set yourselves apart.
-
Let go of the Egyptian mindset it OK, we're coming right back
-
where we started with a mindset because I want you to get let go
-
of the mindset. Let go of the way of thinking
-
like a slave because you cannot step into Canaan, you cannot
-
step into the promised land. Still thinking like a captive,
-
still thinking like back in Egypt with the idols and and and
-
the slave mentality. OK, so trying to cross into the
-
promised land while dragging past change, but when they
-
consecrated themselves, when they purified themselves, OK,
-
that's when God moved. That's when the waters parted,
-
the river opened. When they got cleaned, That's
-
our message today. When they got cleaned, oh, I
-
feel that God moved. It's a moment they purify
-
themselves. The moment they let go of that
-
mindset, let go of the baggage, the whites, signs, wonders and
-
miracles started. Hovey, Hallelujah.
-
So church, this is our moment today.
-
This is our your Jordan moment. It's not just a date changing on
-
the calendar into New Year. This is a spiritual doorway,
-
spiritual crossing. Make a decision with a focused
-
mind that I'm not dragging paying into my promise.
-
We are crossing over clean, and therefore I'm declaring that
-
2026 will be the year of the Great Fix, a Kingdom repair and
-
a Kingdom rebuilt. Come on somebody give God some
-
price as I have 5812. Your people will rebuild the
-
ancient ruins. You'll rates up the age of
-
foundations. You'll be called repairer of
-
broken walls, restorer of streets with dwelling scarred
-
isn't just rescuing you, he is repairing you.
-
And because you crossed over Kling, he can rebuild you.
-
Kling yes, some of you walked in thinking, well, this is just my
-
stories. This is just my life, my
-
personality. This is just now God specializes
-
in pigs. Oh bastard, This is now.
-
I am my family, our personality, the way we are.
-
God says he's a specializes in repairs.
-
He specializes in restoration. He specializes in turning broken
-
seasons into rebuild purpose. And so when the church crosses
-
over clean signs, oneness, miracles, God will do amazing
-
things. And this house will be marked in
-
2026 with bright wonders, amazing things among us.
-
People will see it. People will they will be healing
-
testimonies and it will be freedom.
-
Breakthrough will be as easy as breathing because you cross over
-
clean. Come on, let's all stand
-
together. Give God some praise in this
-
place. Hallelujah.
-
So church, before we rush into the new year, I want you to hear
-
me today. God wants you light again, OK?
-
God wants you to crossover clean.
-
And so today we make a decision in the presence of God that we
-
will finish strong and that we will crossover clean.
-
Don't drag pain into your promise.
-
Because you know you can count down a year on a calendar but
-
still drag all baggage, still drag yesterday's weights and
-
dirty laundry. OK, you can change calendars and
-
still carry chains and weights. But today, this is our moment.
-
OK? We didn't just hear words, but
-
we stepped into this crossing moment today.
-
This is our moment. And so here's the promise as you
-
let go after baggage, after dirty laundry, crushing over
-
clean, God will lift you. OK, So just like Joshua said
-
tomorrow the Lord will do great things, great wonders, amazing
-
things, science wonders and miracles.
-
God is preparing us and that's why he's giving us this word.
-
He's saying crossover clean, finish strong, crossover clean.
-
And so the invitation today, if you are feeling heavy, if you
-
feeling baggage, OK, you're carrying things that you never
-
meant to carry. Matthew 11 says, come to me, all
-
of you who are weary and burden and I will give you rest.
-
I believe Jesus wants to put rest in your spirit and he wants
-
to put fire back in your heart right now.
-
So if you're saying, pastor, that's me, I'm tired, I'm worn
-
out. It's been a long year.
-
I've been carrying too much, OK? And I want to crossover clean.
-
I want to finish strong. This is your crossing moment.
-
Put your hand on your heart and I want you to try this out loud
-
with me. Say Jesus, I give you this
-
weight, I release offence, I release regret, I release shame,
-
I release fear. I forgive and I let go.
-
I drop the weight. I am not dragging pain into my
-
promise. Now raise your hands to heaven
-
and receive Father in the name of Jesus.
-
I'm going to pray for you just to receive this prayer right
-
now. I speak strength of everywhere
-
we hunt. I speak healing of a sickness.
-
I speak peace of anxious mind. I speak freedom over every heavy
-
spirit. Wash, clean, give clean hands
-
your hearts, purify, consecrate your people right now, or
-
there's a purification that's happening right now.
-
God is consecrating hearts. There's a new trust.
-
Someone is trusting more. You can just feel that you're
-
trusting the Lord more. Doubt is leaving.
-
Lord, restore, release, finishing, grace.
-
Oh God, let your people finish strong.
-
Oh God, let your people crossover.
-
Clean, consecrate hearts, purify.
-
O God. Lord, give us clean hearts, Give
-
us pure hearts and clean hands. In Jesus mighty name we pray.
-
Somebody shout Hallelujah. Give God some praise.
