-
OK, so this is the year of the great fix.
-
Very simple, great fix. God spoke to us through Word.
-
Isaiah 58 is the year of the great fix.
-
OK, rebuild, repair, restore, right?
-
So that's Isaiah 58 and I am super excited for this year.
-
2026 is the year of the great fix.
-
OK, we've looked at that last week in detail.
-
So powerful. But today we are going to go
-
deeper. Are you ready to go deeper?
-
Because we're going to go in detail through Isaiah 58, OK?
-
Last week we just touched on it. God gave us the theme.
-
Now we've got the foundation and we're going to build on that and
-
we're going to go through scripture upon scripture.
-
And I love it when things on context because we'll be shocked
-
when we see how what's actually in Isaiah 58.
-
It's loaded with promises. Wow.
-
Please this week spend time in Isaiah 58.
-
That is from heaven. That is the word of God for us
-
for such a time as this. If you want to know what God
-
saying that is it OK, So Are you ready for the for the great fix
-
somebody? Yeah, I'm like Lord, do it.
-
Fix it. Come on, somebody say fix it,
-
Lord. OK, side like a minute.
-
Come on, somebody fixed it, Lord.
-
Yeah, yeah. Hallelujah.
-
OK, So whatever Mason problem or trouble that you are facing
-
today, whatever situation or challenge that you are, yeah, or
-
going through, OK, get ready because God is about to fix it.
-
Yeah, I'm yeah. With the words from heaven, God
-
sent me here, tell my people, whatever trouble, whatever
-
difficulty, whatever challenge it is, I am fixing it.
-
So what of the Lord? I am the main messenger, OK?
-
I'm delivering the mail, OK? So just receive that message
-
from the Lord that God is saying, listen, I'm about to fix
-
it because that is who our God is, OK?
-
So if you've been here last week, you will know that God is
-
a repairer. That is what God does.
-
He's a repairer. He read balls, he's a restorer,
-
he's a finisher. That is our God.
-
God repairs. So whatever problem you've come,
-
God knew that you're going to be here and God is already
-
numbered. You got us or you're not living
-
the same way today. You're not living the same way.
-
You can. You're walking out of this place
-
different. You cannot sit under the word of
-
God and stay the same because the word of God comes and brings
-
fixing. The word of God brings repair.
-
He repairs. He fixes our lives.
-
Come on, somebody shot Hallelujah.
-
He's got some place in this place.
-
If you are receiving this word from heaven, Hallelujah.
-
Yeah, he's fixing it. Come on, tell your neighbor.
-
Tell somebody he's fixing it. He's fixing it.
-
Yeah. It's like, OK, we can relax,
-
breathe, right? He's got it.
-
God's in control. God is Lord's and in charges.
-
Goddess. OK, it's time.
-
We're not going to be uptight this year.
-
We're going to be relaxed. OK, Relax at peace, OK?
-
Because God's taking care of things.
-
And so right there in Desire 58, God shows us one of the ways he
-
brings fix in our lives, how he fixes things in our lives.
-
And I was like, Lord, I was really Desire 58 and just boom.
-
So off the page. It's right there in the very
-
beginning of the chapter. God says it is through fasting,
-
Hallelujah. And so today we are stepping
-
into our 21 day of prayer and fasting Hallelujah.
-
Praise God, Are you ready for this 21 days?
-
OK, and listen, this is a corporate fast.
-
The church as part of the body of Christ, we are fasting around
-
the country, OK? It's happening.
-
Head office, our campuses, the churches globally.
-
It's amazing how many people are prayer and fasting the first
-
month of the year, setting the rest of the year, consecrating
-
mate, setting God first, seeking God in this time.
-
It's amazing how it's happening around the world.
-
And this is not just something we've just, we've been doing
-
this for many, many for a long time.
-
We've been every first month of the year, we consecrate that
-
time and we seek the face of God with powerful results.
-
If you put God first the first month, the rest of the month,
-
February, March, and then it's blessed.
-
I said largely, firstly, God's Kingdom and then all the other
-
things will be added. Yeah.
-
So when you put God's first, OK, your week goes better, your mind
-
goes better, your family goes better, your career goes better.
-
When you start, like today, we starting today, it goes better
-
because the Bible says that when you put God first, all these
-
other things shall be added to you.
-
And so I'm very excited about this faster today.
-
So the theme, it's just so amazing how it fits in with the
-
theme of the great fix. OK, so the great fix.
-
So today I'm talking about fasting and the title of the
-
message is the great fast fix. So the fix.
-
So it's a great year of a great fix 2026, the year of a great
-
fix. And so this is the great fix
-
fast. So we're going to talk about the
-
fast and this fast is powerful. It's straight from Scripture and
-
is so in line with this year's theme of rebuild, restore, OK,
-
repair. And so as we step into this, we
-
are going to keep on reminding ourselves that, and this is so
-
powerful, that God is not finished.
-
He is fixing it. OK, He's not finished with you.
-
He's not finished. He's still fixing it.
-
God is fixing it. OK, Say that with me.
-
God's not finished, he's fixing it.
-
They said again, God's not finished, he's fixing it.
-
I'm super excited because this is one of the end times signed
-
Acts chapter 3, verse 20. Before Jesus comes back, there
-
must first be a fixing. He said in the Bible we looked
-
at the law. So I don't have time to re cut
-
that, but please go listen to the message.
-
Go and get that sermon because there must first be a
-
restoration, a great fix before the great tribulation.
-
There must first be a fix and a restoration of the church.
-
Jesus not coming back for a week, struggling church.
-
He's coming back for a victorious church.
-
So right now what we look out for is the signs of the restored
-
church. And it's happening through US,
-
OK, for each one of us, Hallelujah.
-
I says they're so strong. Get ready somebody for this
-
great fix fast. This is going to be of grateful
-
because this fast, OK, it's about to break change lift
-
patterns and that's what I want you to get out of this fast
-
because he's about to repair. He's about to restore, rebuild.
-
I say it's the move of God in this place.
-
Yeah, God's already moving. Yeah, he's not leaving you the
-
same way He's not leaving you. Not staying the same way.
-
He's not leaving you like you. OK?
-
God's fixing God. It's like God's.
-
I just like a picture of God's rolling up his sleeves.
-
OK, Getting ready. He's ready for the great fix.
-
Yeah, and he's saying get ready. I'm about to repair what has
-
been weighing you down. I was about to restore what the
-
devil stole. I'm about to report your light.
-
Stronger than the. Oh, until the boom.
-
I feel the moving of the Holy Ghost in this place.
-
Whoa, Hallelujah. Whoa, come on, somebody shout
-
Hallelujah. Yeah, yeah.
-
I feel it's so strong because God is not finished yet.
-
He's fixing. He's fixing.
-
It's Hallelujah. Now let me make fasting simple
-
because some people when they hear the word fast, they're
-
like, oh great, I'm going to be grumpy, OK?
-
Now, fasting is not about being miserable, OK?
-
Fasting is about being focused. Fasting is simply, according to
-
the Bible, giving up food. OK, that's fasting.
-
Giving up food and the Bible through the Bible, that's
-
fasting. The definition of fasting is
-
giving up. OK, So you're putting food
-
aside, OK, Without food to see God, that's the definition of
-
fasting. OK, Now people like, OK, Lord,
-
how? Because the Bible says very
-
clearly that we shall not live by, OK?
-
We shall not just live by McDonald's alone, OK, but by the
-
word of God. So we, there is more to than
-
just food, OK? And so it's not punishment, it's
-
not performance. It's not like earning Browning
-
points, earning God's love. And so, OK, fasting is
-
positioning. So it's position, it's putting
-
our heart in a place where we can hear God more clearly
-
because how many of you know, life is busy, there's a lot of
-
noisy distractions. So we're putting our hearts in a
-
place to year to align with God to year to receive what God was
-
all wants to already give us. Okay, And so if you are near to
-
fasting, okay, because I know when years ago, 20 years when I
-
got born again, it's bird fall. I'm like, Oh my God, what's this
-
fasting? People are fasting 40 days.
-
I'm like, wow, I really felt into if you need to fasting,
-
relax, breathe, okay. God's not asking you to impress
-
him. God's inviting you to come
-
closer. So if you're new to fasting,
-
start where you are. Everyone is unique.
-
Everyone runs their own race, OK?
-
There's no competing or comparing in the Kingdom.
-
Oh, that person's done a 40 that fast to anyone that you start
-
where you are. OK, If you cannot do a 21 and
-
you're like, OK, maybe one meal a day, something like that.
-
Start where you are and just flow as the Lord leads you
-
personally. Because the main thing really is
-
fasting is this increasing hunger for God because a lot of
-
people out there, they filling ourself with so many different
-
things. And so there's only little bits
-
left for God, OK, filling ourselves with the design and
-
all sorts of things. But now when we put food aside,
-
we have more space. We, we make room for God.
-
So it increases our hunger for God.
-
So we have a hunger God because a hungry heart God honors a
-
hungry heart. And so when life gets busy, gets
-
loud, OK, we get distracted, we get busy, OK, we get pulled in
-
10 different directions. There's entertainment
-
everywhere, OK? And So what we do is fasting if
-
one of the ways, turning the volume down, turn the volume
-
down on entertainment, mute the entertainment, mute the Netflix
-
on the entertainment, turn it down, turn down everything, shut
-
it down muted so that I can turn the volume up for you God.
-
So we want to hear God more clearly.
-
So we, we shut those things down during fasting.
-
And Jesus said something very important when his disciples
-
came to him and they said, so why couldn't we get the
-
breakthrough? Jesus said something very, very
-
profound. This company come out through
-
fasting and prayer, very profound.
-
Why couldn't we get that breakthrough?
-
Jesus gave them the he gave them the answer I want to I want to
-
show you Mark 9/29. He says he said to them, Jesus
-
said to his disciples, OK, let's just go back to the our title,
-
the great fix fast. Somebody say the great fix fast,
-
right? This is very exciting.
-
This fast is very, very exciting.
-
It's not weighing down, it's lifting us up.
-
Why I'm super excited about this measure that God gave us.
-
It says here, So Jesus said to his disciples, he said to them,
-
this kind can come out by nothing but prayer and forces.
-
So that teaches us there are some things that do not shift,
-
do not move, do not change just casually, just because there are
-
some things that only change, that only move and shift and
-
change when we get serious about seeking God, when we get
-
serious, when we hang out, thirst for God, some burdens
-
only left when we stop trying to manage ourselves and we give it
-
to him. There are some struggles,
-
cycles, burdens, some change, only break when we fast and pray
-
words of Jesus. So there's some certain things
-
in our lives, sometimes generational curses that's been
-
landed down by families, patterns in our lives that never
-
shifts, never breaks at all. We fast, we pray, we seek God
-
with a hunger, with a focused hunger.
-
OK, somebody. And so Isaiah 58, this great fix
-
fast. This is a 5 step that breaks
-
James this fast, but we are stepping in.
-
It lifts burdens. Now let's go there because
-
Isaiah 58 is full of the promises.
-
So he says right, this great fast, OK, when we do this, this
-
is what I promise you any listing, there's a list.
-
It's powerful. Then your light will
-
breakthrough, then the healing will come.
-
Then you'll call and I will answer.
-
Now let's go to as I 58 and we start there because that's God's
-
road map for us straight from Scripture, verse 6.
-
Is this not the kind of fasting I have chosen?
-
Take note of that. To loose the change of
-
injustice, untie the courts of the yoke, to set the oppressed
-
free and break every yoke. That's the kind of fast that God
-
chose. He says this is the fast that I
-
chose. Isaiah 58 fast, the great thick
-
fast that breaks change, that removes the enlist burdens.
-
Let's pray together. Father, as we come to your word,
-
Lord speak to us, give us focus, give us hunger, let every chain
-
break, let every burden left, let every heart come alive.
-
Do your great fix work in and through us.
-
In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.
-
Somebody say Amen. OK, now let me give you a simple
-
picture to carry through this farce because Jesus looking at
-
us and he's looking at his, you know, that smile, that gentle
-
smile, and he's saying bring, bring the shoulder.
-
OK, bring it, bring the shoulder, bring the cheek and
-
bring the stomach. Because those are the three
-
places where a lot of real life battles show up in those three
-
places. Shoulder, that is a picture of
-
burdens, anxiety, pressure, heaviness that we cannot
-
explain. The cheek talks about offence.
-
The Bible talks about, you know, when somebody hitch on the
-
cheek, turn the other cheek, right cheek is offence that is
-
hurts, bitterness that speaks of unforgiveness.
-
Then the stomach speaks of appetites, control.
-
That's addictions. That is the the comfort zones,
-
OK, the place that we run to when love gets hard.
-
And so he, he gives us this stream and Jesus is saying, OK,
-
those that's tired, those that's heavy laden, those that come to
-
me because I will give you rest, OK, I will lift it off you.
-
I will restrain you. I will charge you, I will give
-
you energy. I will lift off the heavy yoke.
-
I will hurt. I will heal what hurts.
-
And so we are not just talking about skipping meals, but we are
-
talking about letting God do a deep work, Let him repair.
-
They didn't fix it, restore, rebuild.
-
OK. And so through this great fix
-
fast, Hosiah starts and is very early in the chapter, those
-
first few verses, he starts right off and he gives us the
-
difference between a wrong fast, because how many of you know you
-
can do it wrong here, wrong and a right fast.
-
And so God doesn't want us to fast and stay stuck.
-
And so he comes and he's showing us what is.
-
He's chosen fast for us. And he makes it so clear what
-
he's chosen fast is for us in Isaiah 58.
-
Because when the people were fasting, they were frustrated,
-
OK? So yeah, they were fasting.
-
They were skipping meals and and they were asking God, but why
-
isn't anything changing? We are fasting.
-
Why isn't anything? Because they were skipping meals
-
and they were fasting and God answers them, OK, the outside
-
looks good, religious or spiritual, but the inside's
-
still the same. And so they were fasting, but
-
while they were fasting, they were still holding grudges,
-
still blaming, OK, still pointing fingers, still offended
-
while they were fasting. So that's a big lesson right
-
there that you can skip meals and still feed the old habits.
-
So yeah, your stomach is empty, but you know, the heart is still
-
offended. It's still full and clogged up
-
with bits and this and offence. It's like unplugging the fridge
-
but plugging into frustration. So you're unplugged from food
-
but plugged into fear. Now unplugging food, turning
-
food off. Yeah, but then powered up anger
-
and offense and gossip. So yes, the fridge is off, but
-
you've still been fed. So some of us are fasting from
-
food. Yeah, fasting from food, but
-
feasting on frustration. Now God is showing us the right
-
way to fast. And so we're going to start this
-
off the right way. God's chosen fast.
-
And he's saying, listen, I want the way that I want you to fall
-
this fast, to lift you, not to weigh you down, because that's
-
the purpose of the fast, to break off the burdens, to break
-
off the chains. The great fast, this great fix
-
fast. OK?
-
It's not just a hungry stomach, but it's a humble heart.
-
Are you with me, somebody? Are you getting this?
-
It's a humble heart this great fast.
-
We're humbling our heart before God.
-
So it's not just a hungry star. It's a humble heart.
-
Not just less food, but the emphasis on more freedom break
-
every. So it's it's lifting burden.
-
So it's the yoke removed, chain break, burden left.
-
It's a hung that's restored, repaired, rebuilt, that's this
-
fast that God is saying. God is saying, listen, I am not
-
after a religious show, after a religious performance showing
-
out, wow, this is how good we get fast this and that.
-
That's not what God is after. He's after real freedom.
-
That's the purpose of the fast, bring about real and true
-
freedom in our lives. Somebody say freedom.
-
And so the Scripture just shows us what happens when we fast
-
this way. When we fast God's way, the
-
right way, the burdens will be removed.
-
OK, somebody change will break. OK, it burdens will lift.
-
So this isn't about skipping meals.
-
This is about God. It's not just skipping.
-
It's it's God coming in and bringing freedom, lifting off
-
something of your life. And you know, some of us are
-
strong, pushing through, doing your best, but it's like you
-
feel tired, tired, but not because you are weak.
-
It's because you have been carrying something that you are
-
never meant or never supposed to carry.
-
OK, let me give you an illustration here.
-
Because in the Bible days, they would put a yoke on an ox and
-
the yoke goes around the ox's shoulders.
-
And so that. Yoke on the ox's shoulder is
-
there to restrict the ox, to control the ox limit, pull back.
-
That ox is strong, but with that yoke around is everything feels
-
heavier than it should. That is how the enemy works
-
sometimes. If he cannot stop you or destroy
-
you, the enemy is trying to restrict you.
-
He's trying to limit you, restrict you.
-
Living under limitations tries to make you feel and live small
-
and stuck under a yoke. OK, now limitation isn't you can
-
be gifted, talented, cold, OK, and still feel heavy if there's
-
a yoke serving, loving God, still life feels, still heavy if
-
there is a yoke. Because a yoke can sound like
-
oh, I'm not good enough. I've made too many mistakes.
-
I'm never going to change. This is just who I am.
-
I am not good enough. And so a yoke can show up as
-
fear, anxiety, doubt, depression, rejection, low
-
confidence. And so the good news is that God
-
doesn't just notice the yoke. He has a plan to destroy it.
-
Come on, somebody. Yeah, that's the kind of God,
-
and it gives us the answer in his word.
-
Hallelujah. Somebody say break every chain.
-
Yeah, come on. Heziah chapter 10, verse 27.
-
He's so clear. The Bible says that the yoke
-
shall be destroyed. It will be destroyed.
-
The Bible doesn't say the yoke will be managed or tolerated,
-
destroyed. That means God isn't just
-
trimming it back. He's sending it.
-
He's not just removing, he's destroying it.
-
Oh, my God, it's not coming back.
-
Jesus, that thing breaks off your life.
-
You'll never see it again. Hold up by such another slapper.
-
That addiction, that training, it breaks off.
-
My God, that thing broke off me. I remember.
-
Listen, I mean, I'm not on sugar now.
-
For how long? Since your last year's first?
-
There's some things you'll never see again.
-
You're never going to fight it. You're never going to go.
-
That pattern, that cycle, and it may be a generational curse, has
-
been passed down through three generations.
-
That thing is broken off. It snaps off your life like
-
that. This is our car.
-
This is our car. Oh, I feel it because this is
-
the time we are in. Hallelujah, my God.
-
Now remember the picture, the shoulder, the chick in the
-
stomach, because it starts with the shoulder.
-
For many of us, it starts with the shoulder.
-
The burdens, OK, And so money pressure, health pressure,
-
family pressure, future pressure.
-
But God says that pressure that is not yours to carry.
-
He says in first Peter 5 and 7 cast all your anxiety on him
-
because he cares for you. This means you don't have to
-
hold everything together. You do not have to hold the
-
weight of the world carried on your shoulders because Jesus
-
already carried it on the cross. So we are not we listen, we're
-
not going to we won't carry what Jesus already carried.
-
Say that with me. I won't carry what Jesus already
-
carried. Hallelujah, praise God because
-
this fast, what it is, it's a transfer.
-
It's a handoff from from your shoulders to his shoulders.
-
That's what happens during this time when we just cast it off.
-
We don't carry those burdens anymore.
-
And so as I 58, it doesn't just stop with what is happening in
-
US, but what is happening through US, how we treat people,
-
how we treat how we speak to people, OK, talking about words,
-
OK, so how we respond and how we love.
-
Because he says here in verse four, he says your fasting ends
-
in quarreling and strife. Because here's the thing about a
-
real fast. It doesn't just changes your
-
appetite a real fast, changes your attitude a real fast says
-
stop blaming and pointing fingers.
-
Stop the harsh words, OK, Stop the hurtful words, the sharp
-
talk. And so my mouth will match my
-
fast, somebody. Hallelujah.
-
Yeah, my mouth will match my fast.
-
I'm not just putting food aside, but I'm also putting hopeful
-
words aside. Right.
-
OK. It's like toothpaste.
-
That's words are like toothpaste.
-
Once you do toothpaste, once it's out, it's out.
-
Once those words are out, it's out.
-
It's like, oh, I said it, now I want to try and you know, can
-
you get that? You cannot get the toothpaste
-
back into that tube. Once the toothpaste is out of
-
the tube, it's out. The words.
-
Oh my God, I wish I never said that.
-
Please, Lord, put kindness in our tone, the way we speak.
-
Let us be gentle with one another.
-
We're not going to be slicing up and devouring one another.
-
Oh, we are God's people. We are God's people.
-
We're going to be kind. We're going to be loving.
-
So getting this fast. We are going to pray.
-
Lord, put kindness in my tone. Lord, help me to respond in
-
peace. The way I talk and treat people.
-
That's and please Lord, please heal my heart so I don't speak
-
out of a place of pain. Hurtful people want to hurt
-
others, so heal our hearts. And so my mouth will match my
-
fast. We thank God we put food aside.
-
But yes, let's put some hurtful negative words aside as well.
-
My mouth will match my fast. Come on, let's say that my mouth
-
will match my fast. Hallelujah, Isaiah 58.
-
Now it goes on and it says share your food.
-
And this is amazing because during a fast, I'm not at the
-
grocery store buying food, OK, I'm not at Tesco's because I'm
-
fasting. I'm not hanging out at LD buying
-
steaks because I'm fasting. And I thank God for the steak
-
cake, but that's maybe for someone again.
-
Hey now is a ton of fasting so there will be some extra money
-
leftover. I will not be buying food.
-
So what do we do with the money? The Bible says share the food
-
with somebody else. I go to my neighbor.
-
I say neighbor can I buy you some groceries?
-
Yeah, share. OK, so we help vulnerable.
-
We care for people. This is the Bible.
-
Let me show it to you. This is verse 7.
-
It says there is it not to share your food with a hungry to
-
provide the poor wanderer or shelter when we see the naked
-
and clove there. So in other words, the fast
-
becomes a public love. So you are becoming a miracle to
-
someone else. I heard about a story about a
-
Doctor Who's doing surgery on people in remote areas in
-
Africa. And so very limited electric,
-
limited supplies, limited tools, hard work in a remote village in
-
Africa. They're just doing a lot of
-
surgeries operating and on people.
-
They limited tools, long hours. And this one day this young man
-
comes in and he's a life threatening injury, urgently
-
need blood. They don't have a supply of
-
blood. Now the doctor could have
-
prayed, oh Lord, send a miracle and that's good and that's great
-
to play all that. But in that moment, he realized
-
he's the miracle. And so he donated his own blood.
-
And so when he donated, after he gave his blood, then he did the
-
operation surgery and he saved the man's, that young man's
-
life. Hallelujah.
-
Now, what I want you to understand is we know that God
-
can do miracles, but understand that God puts miracles in you.
-
Come on, somebody. Yes.
-
And so you may not give blood like that, but you can give your
-
time. You can give your kindness, a
-
listening ear, a meal, a bride and encouraging text, a phone
-
conversation to encourage someone, a prayer.
-
And So what feels small to you can feel like a miracle to
-
somebody else. Just a small text can feel like
-
a miracle for somebody else. Encouraging somebody else with
-
your words. Hallelujah.
-
And so you can be the answer to somebody's prayer, yes, you can
-
be the help that they have been longing for.
-
You can be that one now. I mean, if you know that we, we
-
are the body of Christ, we are his body on the planet now in
-
many ways. God has no arms to hug but
-
through your arms except for your arms, No voice to encourage
-
except for your voice. God has no hands to help except
-
for your hands. That's why the evangelism of
-
people said they so vital. We are his hands, His feet, his
-
mouth in this place. This is where we are
-
representing God, the body of Christ.
-
We are his hands, His voice. Come on, somebody.
-
You could be an answer to someone's prayer.
-
You can become the miracle that they have been asking for.
-
There is so many people, they pray, Oh God, how powerful.
-
I'm struggling. Depression.
-
We are the answer, the choice. We have got the cure.
-
We have got the answer to this world.
-
We are the answer. God has said now as unity as the
-
body of Christ on this planet, and life is almost exciting and
-
so happy and blessed when we realize that I can become a
-
miracle today. You know, Jesus told the story
-
about the man that was beaten down, left for dead and people
-
passed by. Yeah.
-
Yeah. You know, it's dying, people
-
walking, religious people pass by, read the Bible.
-
Who's the one that stopped and helped him when he was young?
-
He was bruised. He was beaten by robbers,
-
basically dying. Who stopped?
-
Not the religious funk. Foreigner.
-
Samaritan stopped, helped him bandage his wounds.
-
Paying the ball. Come on, somebody, let's get.
-
Let's make this really practical now, OK?
-
Yeah. That's what the Bible say he
-
paid for is your accommodation. I will pay for your
-
accommodation. I will, I will pay the ball for
-
the hotel for you to stay in to the get better.
-
Stay involved. It's like, listen, when I'm back
-
late, I'll take care of business.
-
Don't worry about it. Pay the ball, pay the groceries,
-
help. That is love gets practical,
-
real love. What love does.
-
Love doesn't just say from a distance, I'll pray for you.
-
Love gets involved. Love is like, listen, can I pay
-
your rent? Can I pay your groceries?
-
Can I pay your mortgage? How can I help you?
-
That's real love involved. How can I help?
-
That was the Bible says there's a beautiful story in 1995 that
-
that premature twins. Oh, and so the one baby fighting
-
very weak, struggling with a severe heart problem.
-
I mean, the baby was, they did not expect one of the twins to
-
live to make it very premature, very small, very tiny.
-
And the babies were placed in the separate incubators.
-
And so several days the baby, the little one just kept on
-
continuing, going downhill. She's very, she's very close to
-
death. And this nurse, oh, I love us.
-
This nurse had this bright idea. She's like, why don't we put the
-
two babies, the two twins says why don't we put them together?
-
When they put them together, the stronger one managed to wrap her
-
arms over her sister. And much to everyone surprised,
-
the weaker 1 started improved, she improved, started getting
-
stronger, strength returned, Hallelujah.
-
And she made it alive and wow, come on, somebody.
-
I love that. I love that, you know, they
-
called it and it's how cute. I'm just like, I just, they
-
called it the, the, the rescuing hug, that hug, the rescuing hug
-
saved her life. I just love that.
-
Hallelujah. So don't underestimate what's in
-
you. Yeah, there's miracles in you
-
waiting to happen. Don't underestimate you.
-
Your hug can heal. Jesus.
-
I feel the anointed. Your words can lift up.
-
Your words can lift up. Your words can encourage
-
somebody. Your words, Your kind words.
-
Your words. Your hug, oh, it can lift
-
somebody. Your presence can bring peace.
-
It can bring hope. It can restore.
-
It can help somebody. Your life, you're a miracle.
-
You are somebody's miracle. You are somebody.
-
Listen, and I want you to get this.
-
I want you to speak it over somebody.
-
Say some. You are someone's miracle.
-
Come outside. You are someone's miracle.
-
You are someone's miracle. You are someone's miracle.
-
I feel that's so strong. You are someone's miracle.
-
Someone's waiting for you. And here's the principle.
-
Serving is a switch, serving, serving others.
-
When you serve. Serving is switching your lights
-
on. When you serve, you switch your
-
lights on. That's right, when you serve
-
other, when you lift others up, when you lift others up, God
-
turns your lights on. When you lift others up through
-
your words, through your heart, through reaching out, buying
-
groceries, looking, buying coffee, talking to somebody,
-
reaching out to others, you left somebody.
-
God turns your lights on. Listen, let me when you serve,
-
let me give you this Isaiah 58 verse 10.
-
If you spend yourself on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the
-
needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the
-
darkness. What you do for others, God will
-
do for you. Come on, somebody.
-
What you do for others, God will do for you.
-
OK, You want to bless business? You to help somebody else's
-
business? God.
-
God bless your business. You help somebody else in that
-
marriage. God will help your marriage.
-
You help somebody else with their children.
-
God will help your children. Yeah, it's so simple, Church.
-
What you do for others, God will do for you.
-
You pay somebody's mortgage. Somebody's help.
-
God will pay your mortgage. What you do for others, God will
-
do for you. You help them.
-
God helps you. You live them.
-
God lifts you. It's a principle throughout the
-
Bible. What you do for others, God will
-
do for you. When you smile at that, God will
-
smile on you. Simple.
-
It's very practical. We don't have to make this all
-
spiritual. This is very practical.
-
And so serving is a switch. The Bible says when you serve,
-
when you lift others up, God switches on your eyes, OK, Your
-
light will rise in darkness. That means you're not staying in
-
the dark. You're not staying confused.
-
You're not staying stunk. Can you say, man, somebody?
-
No, Haziah goes deeper and it brings it home.
-
Can we go? Can can we bring this home?
-
OK, yeah. And so he's I just love this
-
verse because he makes it real principal personal.
-
And it just says, listen, do not turn away from your own.
-
Do not turn away from your spouse.
-
Do not turn away from your children.
-
Do not turn away from your own. Listen, just let me just show
-
you Isaiah 58 verse 7. We go through these verses and
-
he says, and do not turn away from your own flesh of blood.
-
Then your lie will break forth like that.
-
So don't be kind to everybody everywhere.
-
Come to everybody at work, everybody in public and come
-
home cold and harsh and hard in private, but in public kind to
-
everybody, but at home cold and hard and harsh.
-
OK, so we got to restore the home.
-
OK, Because revival starts at Hump.
-
The great fix fast. Let's restore our homes.
-
OK? The home with simple steps.
-
One meal together. OK, one apology at the table 10.
-
I love you, my sweetheart. I love you, my darling.
-
I love you, my son Peter. Paul, Josh, your daddy loves
-
you. What about we as a family pray
-
together? Yes.
-
And we sit around the table. And that's a personal testament
-
in our lives. We've not just been placed with
-
one kitchen type. Because The thing is, here's the
-
thing, the miracle is not always out there somewhere.
-
The miracle many times just sitting right there at the
-
kitchen table. And this, we've just been placed
-
not just with one kitchen table, more like 2.
-
And it's what a turn around in our family, in our home, sitting
-
at the table, not just playing struggle, but having a meal,
-
talking, praying. Oh, I love you, my darling.
-
Oh my God. We've seen a tenant up in our
-
lives, and it's not just fasting.
-
Weeks and weeks of PlayStation and Xbox.
-
Thank God for that, but it's family being restoration.
-
Hallelujah. Revival starts at home.
-
And so here's the key. When my fast moves my feet, God
-
turns my lights on. When my fast moves my feet, God
-
turns my lights on. Say that when my fast moves my
-
feet, God turns my lights on. Hallelujah.
-
And so Isaiah 58 verse 8, it goes on another powerful promise
-
of healing. Your healing will quickly
-
appear. And so Scripture is giving us
-
hope, oh, that God will speed it up.
-
He will accelerate healing, heal your body, heal your mind,
-
emotions, family. Amen.
-
And so God can do in a moment what we cannot do in years.
-
God can speed up in a moment, and he can heal.
-
And an emotion. He can heal a son and a
-
daughter, a family member. He can heal, He can speed it up.
-
He can do it in a moment what we cannot do in years.
-
Next one, Heziah 58 verse 8. Then your righteousness will go
-
before you and the glory of the Lord will be your real God.
-
So God is saying, listen, I've already gone before you and I
-
love that that God is going before us.
-
He's right there before you, Hallelujah.
-
And then he says behind you, I'm your real God, the glory of God.
-
Because some of us are being tackled and hitting from behind
-
a past mistake, something that happened I regret or something
-
keeps on a shame or so, keeps on tackling it to appear.
-
But God says, listen, I've got your back.
-
Oh, I love that. I've got your back.
-
Somebody said that. God's got my back.
-
God's got my back. Oh, come on.
-
God's got my back. Come on.
-
Say that. Declare that.
-
Say God's got my back. God's got my back.
-
Yeah. And when God's got your back,
-
you can finally move forward. Yeah.
-
Those policy issues, God's got that.
-
The glory of God's cover your real God.
-
Hallelujah. And then he goes on into the
-
next verse. I just love his eye for that.
-
He's so full of promises. We're just gonna go through this
-
quickly. Stacia, when you will call and
-
the Lord will answer, you will cry for help and he will say,
-
yeah, I am and I just love them because God's not distant, God's
-
not far away. Some God is not fasting is not
-
twisting God's home. It is aligning our hearts,
-
tuning our hearts to God's voice.
-
OK, and so if you have been praying for a long time, as I
-
got, why is this taking so long? I've been praying about this.
-
I've been praying. Remember Daniel chapter 10 and
Daniel 10 chapter mention
-
this was after Daniel fasted for for those of you that's going on
-
a Daniel fast 21 days, OK, fruits, vegetables.
-
So he so he said specifically there no sweets, no choice for
-
another 21 days after 21 days. Now listen because he's been
-
really going for it. Then the Angel said this to it
-
because like, OK, why has it been taking so long?
-
The Angel said the very first moment you spoke the words, the
-
very first it was heard, your words were, that's what the
-
Bible says, the very first moment.
-
This is the first day of his fast.
-
Today we're starting today. The praise we are praying today
-
the Bible says is heard in heaven immediately.
-
Now, yes, there was resistance. So then they resist, but it was
-
heard immediately. So delay is not denial.
-
So I'm praying this, pray, Lord bless this, this, this, this,
-
and we're praying the prayer. It seems like nothing has
-
happened, but no, the Bible says it's already immediately heard
-
in heaven. So the lady is not the nail.
-
Don't quit after a couple of days.
-
Oh, I don't see an answer yet. OK many times we see the results
-
breakthrough after the first. OK.
-
And then he's like, Oh my goodness, how did this How how's
-
this in February March. I brought some things are just
-
breaking loose happening big time.
-
Yeah, and God's reminding us. So don't quit, don't stop
-
praying, don't stop believing, OK?
-
Because there comes a moment and a time where all of a sudden you
-
like you call and God answers this.
-
Here I am, my son, my daughter. Yeah.
-
How amazing is that? What a promise.
-
And then the the last verse, now this is last week's message.
-
It says then you will be known as rebuilders of walls and the
-
restorer of homes. OK, now I don't have time to go
-
through all of that again, but God gives us our identity.
-
That's your identity. He calls you a restorer, A
-
repairer, A rebuilder. That's how the restoration takes
-
place, not just in and through it, but through us.
-
God calls us the restorer, the repairer, the rebuilder.
-
You are the repaired, the rebuilder.
-
OK? And so when God repairs your
-
life, you don't just stay in survival mode, but you start
-
rebuilding again because repaired people, and this is so
-
important, that God fixes us. He restores us.
-
But repaired people rebuild, right?
-
Praise God because this is the year of the great restoration of
-
the church. God is restoring his church.
-
Hallelujah. And I just love that because
-
that's last week's message. Please get that because that is
-
so powerful because that is our 2026 is the year of the great
-
fix. That is our assignment.
-
Restore, repair, rebuild. This is the time of the great
-
harvest. One souls, we are reaching
-
others. So God's not only just fixing
-
things in our lives, but he's fixing things through our lives.
-
He's fixing through your life. Now let's just make this
-
practical because this goal, OK, we want to draw closer to God.
-
We want to see freedom come to our lives.
-
And so this is the key. It's a humble heart, but it's
-
got to be genuine and sincere, OK, we are not in for a
-
religious performance and see this or the we are genuine with
-
God. We meaning business with God,
-
Lord. OK, yes, this is now maybe for
-
you it's a 21 day war Tony fast. Maybe it's a Daniel fast OK with
-
no cops, no bread, OK, it's all there in the Bible as the Holy
-
Spirit leads you. Maybe just skip one meal a day,
-
maybe sunrise to sunset. What about it?
-
God leads you and he says right, be Nesta fast.
-
OK, so as the Holy Spirit leads you, Jesus said specifically not
-
if you fast but when you fast. So what you can do as the Holy
-
Spirit leads you during this fast?
-
OK. And please also what's very
-
powerful is when it comes to social media, sometimes the Holy
-
Spirit's like I want you to fast social media, Netflix,
-
entertainment, gaming, OK, scrolling right?
-
And so God can work with anything that you give him.
-
We just sincere, we say, Lord, this is what we can give you.
-
This is what we're going to do. And so some people, you know,
-
they fast sugars and sweets, but that's good and that's great.
-
But also for sometimes fasting and attitude, a complaining
-
fast, fast negative words, fast blame a blaming fast.
-
OK, So yes, the Bible talks about fasting food, but
-
sometimes the only spurs are like, OK, I want you to fast
-
negative, hurtful words. And so this isn't just about
-
what's on your plate, but this is what's on your heart.
-
And so remember, this isn't a diet, OK?
-
This is devotion, OK? This is what we're doing.
-
We're consecrating this. We are focusing on God.
-
We're not. It's not going in a diet for
-
some some weight loss. This is for consecrating between
-
you and God. Devotion, connection.
-
It's not perfection, OK? It's connection, right?
-
And here's the key, what makes fasting work?
-
Don't just remove something, but replace it.
-
Because if you are just going to remove food and don't replace it
-
with God, you're going to be hungry.
-
You're just hungry at heart hungry.
-
So replace it. OK, So if you remove social
-
media, scrolling Netflix, if you remove the entertainment,
-
replace it with time in the word of God.
-
Otherwise you're just going to get bored.
-
You just be bored. Replace it.
-
So think, remove the food and then replace it with time in the
-
word. Read the word, prayer, worship,
-
time in God's presence. That's the beauty of when we go
-
to fast. It's like, Oh my goodness, it
-
feels so slow. Got so much time because I don't
-
spend all of that time in the kitchen preparing and cooking
-
food. Now I've got time to spend in
-
the word of God. So we're just making more room
-
for God. And then what you do is you add
-
one desire 58 action, take somebody, pray for somebody,
-
give something, share something, OK, help somebody, check on
-
somebody because the great fix fast.
-
Yes, the fast is spiritual, of course, but it's also practical
-
and just be wise and be healthy, OK?
-
Please, if you have medical concerns, right?
-
If you have special circumstances, OK, go and seek
-
medical guidance, right? We are not there to hurt or harm
-
our bodies. We are there to give God the
-
glory, OK, So just be wise. And so it's about inviting is
-
coming to God is a God. I'm coming with a humble heart.
-
I'm putting this food aside because I want to seek you God
-
on. Is that so just keep it real.
-
But then at the same time do something that actually
-
stretches you. Yeah.
-
Come on. We got to go from glory to
-
glory. OK.
-
Yeah, I did the first laws. But this year we're going
-
deeper. Yeah.
-
That makes me think of the little girl that says to her
-
parents, she told the parents, she's like, I want to go on a
-
fast, but but I choose to fast broccoli.
-
And the parents love because she's she never she's never had
-
broccoli. She doesn't eat broccoli anyway.
-
I'm fasting broccoli like, oh, sweetie, OK, she didn't eat
-
broccoli anyway. So that's a lot of people fast.
-
They give God something that they don't want anyway.
-
OK, I'll fast broccoli. I'll fast.
-
You don't even eat broccoli, my goodness.
-
And so for me, fasting sugar and sweets is no big deal because
-
generally I don't eat sugar. I'm of sugar now, so I don't.
-
So for me, that's not going to stretch me to fast, to quit
-
sugar. I'm not on sugar, even living
-
amongst my boys, and I have sweets all the time.
-
I asked my wife, I've got you and I just don't.
-
And I don't miss sugar. And that broke last year, my
-
post. So I'm a yeah, like now I can go
-
deeper. So I'm not just giving up sugar
-
because that's not going to be a stretch for me.
-
It's not going to be a big deal for me.
-
God already knows. OK, I'm off sugar now.
-
I don't consume sugar, so for me now I can go step further.
-
So please start where you at. Start with that and then you go
-
further, then you go deeper, OK? We don't start with a 40 day
-
fast, just warped only, OK. We don't see I'm not Jesus, OK?
-
Like Jesus in the desert, Moses on the mountain, 40 days.
-
I'm like, my God, these prophets that you know, but you can see
-
you fasting you, you grow into that, OK, as the Lord leads you,
-
but God make it real because God sees the sacrifice.
-
It's like, wow, my son, my daughter, wow, you gave that up.
-
Wow, God sees the sacrifice. Now listen, if you mess up one
-
day, don't quit, OK? Don't throw in the whole towel,
-
the whole fast, OK? The gym members, you don't give
-
up your gym membership because you just missed one gym workout.
-
You don't just give up the whole job, OK?
-
You just match 1. You just get back up again.
-
OK. So if you accidentally OK by
-
mistake, eat the biscuit, then you slip in a biscuit, you know,
-
like, OK, that's the a little McDonald's, you're there.
-
But if something happens, OK, listen, you don't lose your
-
salvation if you mess up, slip in a little, you know, sweetie,
-
you know there OK, But that's that's not going to tell me.
-
But for in my case, there's certain things that you that
-
each and everyone of you don't lose your salvation.
-
We're all different. We're all unique.
-
Everyone runs and there's no competition competing or
-
comparing in God's Kingdom. Everyone runs your own unique
-
place. You stand before God.
-
God sees your sacrifice. God sees wow, that was a
-
sacrifice. I know God knows you better than
-
anyone. So I'm not performing.
-
I'm positioning. I love this one illustration.
-
A man he once hit £1000 cash in his Bible and so he forgot about
-
it because life got busy and he was just, you know, busy and he
-
stopped opening up and stopped reading his Bible.
-
And so later on he then he started his fast and during the
-
fast gods he felt the pull of God.
-
Something's like pulling his like read the Bible and so he's
-
like OK, so he opens up the Bible and so when he opened the
-
Bible being wow, £1000 cash is all there.
-
OK, now there was treasure the whole time.
-
That's the point. It's not about the kind, it's
-
about there was treasure the whole time.
-
It was there. The forgotten promises, the
-
forgotten wisdom, the strength, the peace, the direction for our
-
lives. It's there the whole time.
-
So there is spiritual treasures during this time that is waiting
-
for us. It is waiting.
-
God is ready, it's there. The promises are there.
-
That is what God is saying. All He's saying just align your
-
hearts. Just come to me and did you make
-
room for me? I am going to give you what you
-
really need. It's when we make room for God
-
because life gets busy and God's like, it's right, Yeah, what you
-
are looking for in your marriage, in your family, in
-
your life, you are looking for this.
-
But we are like in this rat race, distracted, and God is
-
calling us to come and align with him.
-
And he says, there it is my son. There it is, my daughter.
-
It's always been there. It's been waiting for you.
-
Just open the Bible, read the Bible.
-
It's there and God will fool you with what you really need and
-
that is this great fix fast. We're not trying to impress God,
-
but we are making room for God. And when you make room, he will
-
fool you. So in closing, this leads us to
-
as I as power word, which is then everybody say then then
-
because here comes all the promises.
-
It's like the chosen fast during this when you step into that,
-
then your light will breakthrough, then healing will
-
spring forth. Then I will be go before you
-
behind you then and he goes on. He goes let me read that.
-
He says to you, then your light breaks for flight on then
-
healing springs up quickly then righteousness supposed to be
-
then the glory of the Lord is your real God then call and God
-
answers you right and then you rebuilt and should rose.
-
Then you are called repair and restore.
-
Hallelujah, God is stacking up his promises one after the
-
other. This is the great big fast fix.
-
Hallelujah, God is showing us this pattern.
-
He's saying in his word, if you go, you step into this great fix
-
fast, this fast that fixes, that repairs, OK, God will release
-
his results, his promises, and I believe this is a turning point.
-
Church, this is a new season. It's a brand new start.
-
It's a turning point and I believe some of you, you will
-
notice this week you'll already start feeling lighter.
-
This week you'll start feeling lighter.
-
You'll already start feeling burdens come off shoulders.
-
You'll just like this week. Watch this week.
-
You are already going to sleep better.
-
Watch this. Watch this word, you're going to
-
feel better. You're going to sleep better.
-
Watch marriages, families turn around.
-
Watch your light breakthrough this week already starting into
-
this fast. Watch things turn around in your
-
life. Hallelujah.

So walk in this fast, expect good things because God is a
-
restorer. That is what he he's a repairer,
-
He rebels, He finishes. And if there's one thing that
-
you remember, come today, remember this, God's not
-
finished with you. He's fixing it.
-
Amen. Let's all start Highland Bay.
-
I praise God, let's all stand. I believe God's moving in this
-
place. This is a new season.
-
The great fix has begun. It has started in our lives.
-
So if you did today and you say, pastor, I want to go deep.
-
I want to go in this devotion with a fast mentality, with
-
going deep, with this freedom, with breaking chains.
-
I'm in business with God. If that is you, I'm going to
-
pray because there's a grace corporately on us for this
-
season to fast. And so if you want to step into
-
this fast with devotion and you need pray for this grace moment
-
of fresh start, Maybe you need repaired in a relationship,
-
restoration in a family relationship.
-
If that is you, we are going to pray.
-
Maybe you need to rebuild purpose, passion in your heart.
-
So if that is you, just put your hand on your heart.
-
As I pray for us. Father, we thank you right now
-
every person in this place. Lord, we thank you Lord that you
-
are here and that you release every burden.
-
Lord, we cause every anxiety on you, and we lay down pressure
-
and heaviness and fear, and we declare every yoke destroyed now
-
in Jesus name. Every chain is broken, every
-
weightlifting. Lord, let your peace flood every
-
mind in this place. Strength return.
-
Lord, we pray and we say right now we choose to forgive.
-
We let go of what's been hurting us.
-
We forgive. Restore trust in families.
-
Father, retrain our appetites, break cravings.
-
Lord, break distractions. Give us a fresh hunger for you,
-
Lord. Yes, Lord.
-
Oh Lord, a hunger for your word, a hunger for prayer, a hunger
-
for your Kingdom, for your ways. Restore, Lord.
-
Bring unity back, Lord, Restore purpose.
-
Raise up rebuilders. Rise up, repairers, rise up.
-
Restore us in this house. And Lord, every person who feels
-
stuck, ashamed of far from you, wrap them in your grace right
-
now. Lord.
-
Lord, I pray wrap them and your love, let them feel your love.
-
Let them know that you are not finished with them.
-
Jesus, we receive your great fix right now.
-
Repair what's heavy, restore what's broken, rebuild what's
-
been damaged. Lord, we thank you, Lord, for
-
new beginnings. And we thank you, Lord, for your
-
grace upon this great fix. Fast, God, that chains break.
-
Now church, say these with faith, say it out loud.
-
Say God's not finished. He's fixing it.
-
This is God's chosen fast. Every yoke breaks.
-
The yoke is breaking. Chain is stopping.
-
The burden is lifting. My light is breaking forth.
-
Healing is springing up quickly. The Lord goes before me and
-
God's my back. When I call God answers here I
-
am. My home will be restored and
-
filled with peace. I am a repairer, I am a
-
restorer. God will fix it through me.
-
How come as somebody give God some praise.
-
Hallelujah.
