Speak the Blessing - Pastor Will Roos

And so we're going to be starting today very simple, but

powerful. And so the first one will be

we'll be talking about speaking the blessing, OK, because words

are not small. Words are powerful.

OK? So words say direction, words

carry authority. It's so seeds, OK, that words

born seeds, OK? It unlocks destinies, all right.

And so when you start speaking, the blessing, when you start

speaking life, things begin to shift.

Families begin to heal, OK. And so you'll see when you start

speaking, the blessing favour starts flowing in your life.

Hallelujah. So today we kick start this

brand new series, which I'm so super excited about.

We we start this and we are going to talk about the blessing

in your mouth. My God, my God, so the blessing

in your mouth. So we're going to be speaking

about that speak the blessing. So let me just put this up here

for us for a minute so we can see.

So that's the series that we are starting for the next couple of

weeks. We're going to be spending time

on Numbers chapter 6, and we're going to go deep, OK?

And we're ready to go deep. Amen.

The blessing, the blessing. I'm chasing the blessing of God

in this place. And so the title of today's

message, speak the blessing. Somebody say speak the blessing.

OK, Touch your neighbor and say speak the blessing.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Speak the blessing.

You know, speak the blessing. OK, Because here's what I want

you to grab hold of today. Right at the outset, right here

at the start, I'm going to say the placing is not a placing.

And so it's spoken. OK Right.

So we're going to go on this. And today we are not just

talking about praying for a blessing, we're talking about

releasing a blessing. I meant.

So I want you to know that you can bless your home, you can

bless your family, you can bless your career, you can bless your

workplace, you can bless your children, you can bless your

future, you can bless your street, your neighborhood.

You know, I heard about this guy in Australia walking around his

neighborhood. And so then there is a living

this estate, and it just bless the properties, the land, the

plots, the houses, and it just speaks a blessing.

Place this house, place that plot in Jesus name, place

favour, just start blessing. And then later churches started

all of us. And then small groups started

forming. People's open hearts are open.

Why? Because he's releasing Heaven's

language into the atmosphere in his neighborhood, walking

around, releasing the placement. OK.

And so that is why that song, that offering song we just sung

earlier, the blessing. I mean, it went viral.

That's why it hit the world that he did.

Remember, they recovered that song, the blessing.

I mean, I just made the favor of his favor.

Be a part you and 1000 generations and your family and

your children and their children.

He is for you, He is for you. Wow, wow, wow.

Remember Derek Covert? OK, even here in the UK the

churches started singing that over the nation.

OK, that was straight from Bible numbers, Chapter 6.

What an anointed, powerful Psalm.

It went viral and the churches started singing the blessing

over the airwaves, OK, on social media, everywhere.

And it's just people texting around back and forth over the

nation. And it brought hope to people

who felt surrounded by fear. And so just you can do this

every day. Put on that song, The Blessing

in your car, wherever you are, and you just declare it.

You just speak blessing over your neighborhood, where you

walk, where you work, your workplace place, place, place.

You can place your children, you can place your workplace, OK.

Every day you just bless your home, your workplace.

You say this home is blessed, this workplace fiber at peace

ratio. Bless the struggling situation.

Peace be still. And you can do this every day.

And so this is these coming weeks now in this series called

The Blessing, that's what we are going to be declaring this in

our region where we live, where we work, blacklot, surrounding

areas, blessing over homes, our regions, our city, our nation,

UK. We're going to be speaking that

because there is blessing in your mouth.

And it's not just going to stay in our hearts, in our mouths,

but it's going to be coming out because that's how we go.

It's released. That's how the Kingdom of God is

to lit through your voice. Can you say, I mean somebody,

because this is not kissing, we're not sucking this out of

our thumb. We're just thinking up this is

Bible. This is the strategy that God

gave his people. God gave his people a strategy.

OK, he said, Moses, this is how OK, this is how you want to

bless the people and God specifically strategy.

He said, Moses, the way I want you to bless the people is say

it to them. OK, let's think it's OK, right?

But in other words, speak the blessing, Moses, that's how I

want you to bless the people. I speak the blessing.

Somebody says speak the blessing.

OK, now let's go to the word. So let me read it out.

This theme scripture that we're going to be talking about over

the next couple of weeks here. Are you ready for the word?

If you're ready, say I'm ready. OK, so this is number chapter

66. And the Lord spoke to Moses

saying speak to Aaron and his son saying this is the way.

OK, so how? How is the way?

Now what's the strategy? This is the way you shall bless

the children of Israel and the like this watch this say to

them, the Lord bless you and keep you.

The Lord makes his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

So shall put so they shall put my name on the children of

Israel and I will blessed and let's pray Father, we thank you

for this moment together. We thank you for your word make

it come alive and every heart to take Father, we thank you for

open hearts. We thank you for an open name.

But oh God, help us to speak life to speak destiny, to speak

favor. Help us to speak blessing over

the people we love and we thank you for this brand new series

and for doing something you do it right here right now in the

mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray and somebody shout night

right now. Let me just put numbers chapter

Numbers 6 · chapter mention

6 for you in context, right? So I want you to notice what God

is doing, right? Israel is under pressure.

They're in a precious season, right?

They just come out of slavery. They just come out of slavery.

Now they are facing a wilderness, OK?

So they're like uncertain. We don't have a clear path where

we go, OK, And so the Israel is under pressure and they don't

even feel fully equipped. And no weapons, no supplies, no

map, the uncertainty. And so when people are under

pressure, they start complaining.

When people are under pressure, they start assuming the worst

case. And so, Moses, why did you bring

us here to die? And so in other words, this

doesn't feel like God is with us, OK?

It feels like a wilderness, like a desert in sand and heat.

It doesn't feel like God is with us.

This doesn't look like favor, OK, Right.

And so this doesn't, right, you know, match up what he has

promised. And so right there in the

wilderness, in the difficulty, in the pressure season, God does

not respond with shame. God responds with a strategy.

Oh, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, somebody for a strategy from

God, for a word from God, Hallelujah.

And God is saying, listen, I am giving you a strategy.

Listen, this is what you do when you start, when you pressure,

when you start. Speak the blessing, Oh my God,

Jesus. I'm just giving you the word on

the Lord today. Are you ready for this?

Can you handle the blessing somebody OK, Because it might be

it might be strong for somebody today.

Speak in a blessing. OK, so God says something in

numbers chapter 6 that shifts everything.

It's like, listen man, he tells me I said say to them, don't

think it, don't assume it. The Queen, the claret, say it.

So then, OK, McLaren, because here's the thing about blessing.

Here's the thing about now, it's fine.

Well, let's just flow, OK? Let's just flow because I want

you. I want you to grab all of this.

The thing about the blessing is it moves through words.

That's how the IT moves through words, OK?

So it is heaven's language that comes and flows through us.

So we put the word of God and we speak it.

And so when he says, listen, the Lord bless you and keep you,

that's power, that's protection we should listen to.

Lord makes his fight shine upon you.

That's Christ, that's favour. When he says, the Lord lift up

his countenance upon you, that's peace we surpass us.

We want to study peace that you cannot even explain shall own

peace, wholeness. That's the favour, that's a

piece of God. And so I want you to see this

because the wilderness, the difficulty, the shall, it cannot

remove what God has spoken. OK, I made somebody.

So the pressure, the difficulty, the challenge, it cannot cancel

what heaven has declared. I made somebody.

So if you are in a difficult, if you are the world in this

season, if you're in a desert season, OK, sand, heat,

hardship, difficult, trouble on every side, pressure,

challenges, uncertainty. Listen, this is a word for you

today. This is the word of the Lord for

you today. Are you ready for this word

today? The word of the Lord for you,

the strategy that God has given you for your situation, this is

to speak the blessing. Because maybe you are thinking,

well, how can I make it through this illness?

OK? How can I reach my dream?

I don't have the resources, I don't have the connections.

How can I keep my family together?

I feel like I'm standing alone. But listen, can I give you the

good news today? You are not alone.

The blessing of God is on your life.

Oh Hallelujah, placing is on you.

The placing of God empowers you. It enables your life.

It is a supernatural power of God that is working in your

life. It's that God's advantage on

your life that you cannot explain on paper or worth

qualifications. They just like Boston, Michelle

said. I've seen it over and over my

life. They just pick you.

They choose you. They give you the contract, they

give you the deal because of the blessing of God.

It's not because I'm so good. It's not because of how cute we

are. No, it's because he's good.

It's because the blessing of God is on your life.

Yeah, the blessing of God. They cannot resist the blessing

because it's all over your forehead.

It's all over you. The blessing of God is over you.

That's what is the attraction. My God.

He is the attraction. Come on, let me just.

Everybody wants a king like Jesus.

He may have been represented throughout the generations

through different religious, certain doctrines,

misrepresented. God said that's not who I am.

That's great religion and that's things.

I'm not that. The moment you see Jesus in his

full glory, the whole world, everybody wants Jesus.

Oh this the most beautiful, most attractive thing of his.

Everybody wants the lights, runs to the lights.

That's the attraction. Oh, nothing compares with his

glory. How beautiful, how glorious.

I'm telling you, many people that's been in the prisons, they

passed away, they go to cable and I said please don't let me

even go back to it. I just want to stay in there.

But it's glory, no pressure, no stress, no worries, no pain in

his presence is the Bible says fullness of joy.

There is no drug that you can pop OK, that's going to give you

that high when you encounter Jesus.

He's the highest high once you tasting, I'm telling you right

now, once you taste Jesus, you're addicted for life.

You're addicted for life yourself.

And I've I've I've been on that some of that drugs and all that

with Pretorius reside outside the club lying there drugs.

Nothing compares to when I count to with Jesus.

Oh my God, my God, my friend, he was smoking with He's like,

listen, both of us are on the floor counting Jesus right

there. He said this is the highest high

I've ever had in my life. The highest high loving

compares. So that opposition, that

difficulty, it cannot stop your purpose, that illness, that

sickness that set back, it cannot cancel.

It doesn't cancel your calling because people will look at your

life and they will wonder how are you still standing?

And you know the answer, the blessing, the blessing.

Now, when somebody say the blessing, the blessing, the

blessing, Yeah, it's the blessing.

Come on, somebody, preach your eyes together for you, for the

blessing. Yeah, Thank God for the

blessing. The blessing.

And I also said, oh, you know, we're in this wilderness.

You know, I'm certain. This doesn't look like the

promise. It doesn't look like God is with

us. This is a decent.

This is wilderness, Moses, Why did you bring it here to die?

It doesn't look like God is. What does It doesn't feel like

they're doing. Doesn't feel like fiber.

OK, we are struggling here. This is the wilderness.

But God said, listen, my blessing is on you.

My favor is on you. My peace and my grace.

My face is shining on you. All that you have got to do is

just speak it. Oh, just speak the blessing.

That's the strategy. It's so simple, yet it's so

powerful and so profound because blessing is right there in your

mouth. All the miracle is right there

in your mouth so close that favour is on you.

So that's what God said Moses say to them, OK, just say it,

OK? Just speak the blessing.

A blessing isn't a blessing until it's spoken.

Placing is not a blessing until it's spoken.

Nothing happens until you speak it.

OK, right. So we sitting at the restaurant

holding food. OK, what do you want to eat?

I'm just whispering. OK, so would you like to order

some food? What do you like to eat?

No, I'm not saying anything. My my mouth is shut.

OK, listen, if you sit at the restaurant, I'm going to ask you

what to eat, and you're going to keep your mouth shut.

You're not getting nothing to eat.

You're getting nothing because your mouth is shut.

You're not saying anything. OK?

Are you going to order food? Yes or no?

Or you're going to keep your lips sealed?

Nothing happens until you're stinking.

A placing is not a placing until it's spoken.

So why is it that when it comes to church around these, it's

like, oh, we have to now really take it one level and not start.

No, that's when we decree and declare and we open our mouths

even louder. We come into these meetings and

we praise our God. That's why we are.

That's why when we sat at the restaurant, we open our mouth.

Sir, can I please order a burger with fresh rice?

Thank you. Done the same with that.

It comes to the Bible. Use the Korean in the tray.

Son, family, wife, daughter, spouse, you are blessed.

You walk into your house, House you are blessed.

Car you are blessed. Neighborhood you blessed he said

the world wants to put the mask wants to silence the church put

the mask on but you know on the way to Das Maskus Paul he was

sorely persecuted. Oh on the way to Dimascus God

deemed mask he rubbed that mask off his face.

He's like listen, you're not going to be a sore persecuting

the Christians. You're going to be an Apostle

Paul. You're going to open your mouth

and you're going to speak it. Lydia.

Yeah, My God. Yeah.

I mean, you can sit at the restaurant and you can think the

food and the person comes and asks, OK, what would you like to

order? I'm just going to think.

I'm not going to say. I just think.

So. I mean, you can think you

blessed, but until you speak it, fight gets released.

God's blessing is on me. And so I'm not saying listen,

because this world is not a trouble free world, right?

There's there won't be troubles. We live in a fallen world.

We live in a real world, OK, there'll be troubles.

So I'm not saying you want to have troubles, troubles.

It comes to all of us. We all do.

But you get to decide who has got the final words because the

trouble or the situation or the circumstance or the word

pressure might say something, but the Word of God says

something else. OK, So you get to decide which

one you're going to speak, which one you're going to declare, OK,

are you going to be speaking the problem or the difficulty or the

challenges or are you going to be speaking the word because

there's one report on one diagnosis, medical diagnosis,

whatever, and then there is another.

And then you find the promise in the Word of God.

And so this week you are going to be announcing, instead of

thinking about the worst case scenario, you're going to be

announcing the promise. You're going to be announcing

the word of God. You're going to be speaking

God's promise over the situation.

So the doctor, the medical report, oh, the sickness,

There's the the word of the Lord says by he stripes, I am healed.

Hallelujah, somebody. Yeah.

And so you're going to be speaking it.

You're going to be declaring it because there's healing in your

mouth. There's a miracle in your mouth.

There's peace in your mouth. There's victory in your mouth.

There is deliverance and freedom in your mouth.

There is blessing in your mouth. Come on.

Somebody to say that there's blessing in my mouth?

Tell you and I'm gonna say there's a blessing in your

mouth. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

There's a blessing in your mouth.

There's a blessing in your mouth.

Yeah. There's a blessing in your

mouth. There's a blessing in your

mouth, and that's what we do with our mouth.

We place the Lord. Bless the Lord.

Oh my soul, Oh my soul, Worship peace, holy name.

Sing like never before. Oh my soul I'll worship peace,

holy name, bless the Lord of my soul, of my soul shall peace,

holy name sing like never before.

Oh, my soul will shall peace, holy name.

Amen. Wow, wow, wow.

Shall we speak the blessing? We bless a lot.

We bless one another. We bless, we speak blessings.

Now generally, we talk a lot about praying.

Now we pray. But I want you to see that

because there's a difference. There's something we pray, yes,

but there's something powerful, also very powerful about

nuclearization. OK.

And so, yes, we're not just talking about praying.

But, yeah, today the emphasis is not just praying for people, but

speaking and declaring, placing over people.

So I want you to so put prayer. Yes, we probably need to see

that there. But then there comes a moment

where we shift over and you bless you, bless that person.

OK, You speak a blessing. So yeah, because the the

blessing must be spoken. You know, I heard a story about

this remote village in Welsh. This man, he, he released the

blessing. So he spoke blessing.

And so when he said I bless you. And she said I'm favored.

A lady who lived with chronic back pain her whole life.

She said when he when that leader, when I spoke the

blessing, she said she felt the pain leave her body.

Not a long prayer, not intercession prayer.

OK, blessing the power of a spoken blessing.

That's the power of numbers. Chapter 6.

But all please and keep you simple words.

But it blesses the person with protection and peace.

So I want you to grab hold of his revelation because sometimes

it's not like, oh Lord, if it's your world, please heal that

person. No, no, listen, there's a moment

where you shift into a higher power of spoken pleasing

numbers. Chapter 6 And you said be

healed, be prosperous, be blessed, be still at peace.

You see that over and over. Jesus over and over, storm is

still. He did not go into prayer mode

on the boat when there was a storm.

He did not know, Father, we need to pray about the storm.

This is not difficult. No, no, no, no.

Listen, there's a level of authority that God is taking us

into. Jesus stood on that boat and he

commanded pistol. OK, somebody's getting this.

The Power of numbers, Chapter 6. OK, the difference between, you

know, the difference between a fan and a windmill.

Some people are like electric fans plugged in to the power and

they release a refreshing breeze wherever they go.

Oh, they compliment people, they encourage people, they

strengthen people. They lift the room wherever they

go. It's like electric fan.

It's just like breeze. It's like that person that or

wherever they go and they speak life at work, wherever they go,

they speak life. You actually want to be around

that person all the time because wherever they go, they lift the

room, they speak. It's like wow, the people around

that person because every time they speak, they speak life.

But then some people, they're like a windmill only moves when

the conditions are perfect. A windmill.

That's the thing with the windmill.

A windmill, it only moves when something pushes it.

OK, Church, this is not the season to be a windmill, OK, To

wait for better days, wait for better conditions.

When everything is perfect, we got to wait.

No, this is the season to be like electric fat plugged in so

you stay connected and you bring out a fresh freeze wherever you

go. You complement people.

And we are coaching our kids now.

My first. I'm teaching now.

I'm like my sister, my son. When When Paul has something

nice and he kicks the ball nicely.

Well done, Paul. Complement one another.

Instead of fighting, Argue. Listen.

Let's complement each other. When they kick the ball.

I want to listen. We just want to pick up.

OK. But all of a sudden, all you

know, listen. Be happy for him.

Compliment Him to complement each other.

OK, this is a season that we are going to step into where we're

blessing because it's not just, I'm not just talking about

positive speaking. This is Bible.

Can I go deeper? Isaiah 61, the Bible says the

Spirit of the Lord is on him to proclaim, to announce the good

news. That's declaration, that's

proclamation, that's and so to proclaim the good news, freedom,

breakthrough. And so Hosea, you went about

going around declaring, speaking blessing.

Now watch this In the New Testament, Jesus repeats the

same declaration in the book of Luke chapter 4.

He stands up in the synagogue, and of all the passages, he

chooses the very same passage of declaration that Heziah 61 did.

And Jesus did not keep it private to himself.

Jesus did not put a mask and whisper it to himself and keep

it private. Jesus declared Jesus proclaimed

that he announced the the scroll of the Lord is upon me to Prince

to proclaim to announce good news.

And then Jesus as he says this, he goes on, he says this is for

fault. He announces this is for, for

that tells me something. Declaration activates destiny.

Declaration. When you put God's words, what

God says in your mouth and you declare it, you activate your

destiny. Surely you activate destiny.

You put your faith in motion when you say what God says and

you speak the word of God. Can you say I mean, somebody OK.

Because when you speak what God says, faith kicks in and you

activate it and you speak it. That's the seed and that's the

fruit you eat tomorrow. So what do you want to see

tomorrow in your life? What do you want to see in your

future? Speak it.

Plant that seed and you'll eat the fruit.

Words are powerful. Words have the ability to save

the direction of our lives. And then, and you know, the

reason some people are not reaching their full potential is

because they never declare. They never reach a full

potential because they never declare and say what God says

about it. Oh, God says, oh, OK.

And no one has ever declared over them what they can become

very important. Because years ago I did not want

to be a pastor. I was studying sports sciences.

I was a top athlete, 1A size. That's my career.

Training professionals #1 karate guy, world champion.

I trained Olympic athletes well in her bed.

Buddy spray. OK, I know all that, all of

that. I did not.

I said to the show, but now watch this.

She was the first one she called, she declared it.

She declared the man of God, you are a pastor.

I nearly fell off my wolves. I was so shocked.

I'm like, please don't say that ever again.

Just I don't want to be a pastor.

I never want to be behind the pulpit.

Be a pastor. I'm a sports number one in South

Africa. Hurdlers, I can run fast, I can

do sports, you can take me any sports.

I can tell you anything about sports, interest and the whole

lot, all of it. You call me pastor.

She spoke a blessing. And what should we do with our

children? And you speak that over a

person's life, what they can become, not what's wrong, what

we're doing wrong. No, we don't speak.

We seek what they can become the future leaders of tomorrow.

We speak over our kids. And so today is a new day.

It's a brand new day. God's doing something brand new.

God sent me here today to tell you, get ready for a fresh

blessing. Oh, first blessing, fresh

blessing, fresh words. Somebody's about to get a fresh

blessing. Fresh words from heaven today,

Hallelujah. We're about to get a reset.

In your spirit. You have come to the right place

today. You've come to the right place,

Hallelujah. Because there's a fresh

blessing. There's a fresh.

Somebody say fresh blessing. Oh, Hallelujah.

I'm super excited. Phrase blessing is coming on my

life. Come on, say it.

Phrase blessing is coming on my life.

Starting at phrase blessing is coming on my life.

Yeah. Yeah.

Because life happens, Disappointment happens, hurt

happens. We got through life.

It gets busy and we need a fresh blessing.

OK. I hope you can live on on last

year's blessing. I will need fresh blessing.

Oh, my God, why don't we do? I'm like, listen, we're here for

something fresh, OK? Yeah, We're ready for a fresh

blessing. Oh, it's fresh.

It's fresh. I'm telling you fresh.

And that's because you ended. Not because you did everything

right, but because he's good. Because he knows how to open the

door that you couldn't open. How to heal you that you

couldn't heal OK. How to restore what you thought

was God. OK.

And so let's bring it closer to home, because the 1st place your

word should build is not just your workplace, but each other,

OK? And so most of our biggest

battles are not on stage. It's at the dinner table, in the

car, in the hallway. Everyday moments when you are

tired, stretched, feeling overborn, down pressure, and you

are tempted to speak quickly instead of speaking kindly.

OK, now we're going somewhere because that's exactly where God

wants the blessing to live. OK, we bring it back home and

family situations that that's where God wants, not just church

language, home language because you're a final spot at home.

OK, so your family, right, your loved ones, the people that God

has placed in your life, OK, They are not there by accident,

OK? Your spouse, your kids, your

children, the loved ones family, right?

They're not there by accident. Your spouse is not an accident.

Your kids, they're not an accident, OK?

They are gift from God. Now, Yes, baby, some spouses or

family members that may have some faults, some mistakes,

failures, OK, yeah. But don't take them for granted

because value them because you don't place what you take for

granted. You place what you honor.

You place what you value, right? That's what you place.

OK, Now a lot of us think, well, you know, they know that I love

them. They know I love them because I

I provide. Are they they know I love it.

I'm there, I provide for them. I'm faithful.

Now that is good, OK. And that's wonderful that you

know that you think that they love you.

OK, But here's the thing. Because people cannot live only

on what you think. People cannot only live on what

you meant or what you assume. OK, if it's heaven, so kind, it

can still feel messy. And that's why encouragement is

so important that we keep on encouraging each other, that we

compliments, compliments. That's very because compliments

they it's like glue compliments. It keeps the matters together.

It's like it. It keeps a relationship

together, complements it, sticks it.

It keeps and holds it together. Complementing one another holds

it together. And it's not that your home has

no love, it's just that the love needs a voice.

It needs to be expressed. It needs to be spoken out.

So let's just talk about relationships for a little.

But if that's OK, we'll just share on the talk about marriage

for a moment, OK? Because this is one of the

biggest places where your words, they matter.

And it is in marriage and express love daily, every day,

OK, Because yesterday's love doesn't feed today.

That's yesterday. Look at how I got married ever

20 years ago in Joburg, in Dingford on the golfers.

They're beautiful. Yeah.

I told my wife I love. But that was that was a while.

That was 2 decades ago. OK.

So keep it fresh. Express it daily, right.

Every day we compliment. We speak to each other.

OK, not because your spouse is weak, but your spouse is human.

And listen, your spouse don't need a sermon, they need a

sentence. I love you.

I am proud of you. I believe.

I mean somebody. So, man, let me just talk to the

man. Is that OK?

If I could talk to the man. Your wife should feel safer

after talking to you, not smaller.

OK because sharp words when it's too sharp it leaves a scar.

Even if they say oh I'm sorry I did not mean it like that, it

still leaves a scar. Like jokes, sarcasm, sarcasm.

It cuts even if you say it was just each other sarcasm.

OK, so basically place your wife, pull your wife, don't

break your wife. Because here's the thing, when

you speak life to her, you are speaking life in the atmosphere

you live in because you live there in the house.

So if you speak life to her, I'm like, listen, tree, the way you

speak to her, you live in that atmosphere.

So you speak life because you want life in the house.

In that atmosphere, you speak life, you speak blessing, you

strengthen your house. Now let me speak to the wives

for a moment. Wives, your words carry power.

Now the men, a lot of men that look very strong, very strong

men, very strong on the outside. But listen, deep down inside,

there is a longing. Please notice me.

Please see me. Notice me.

Anybody you know, just be proud of me.

You know, I'm doing all of this. Just notice me.

Be proud of me. Love me.

OK. He's got that longing inside.

Disbelieve in me. And so when you honor, because

honor doesn't weaken a man, honor strengthens a man.

He stands taller. He shows up stronger.

So when a wife does words, the words that you speak to your

husband, he will bring the priest out of him or you'll have

a Superman. This guy will fly.

You can make this guy fly. I am flying because of possible.

I would not have been here standing blinding a choice as a

pastor if it was not for my wife.

I would have been in sports somewhere in South Africa, doing

my own thing, living like a bachelor, doing one thing.

My wife spoke these things. This power in your words.

When you speak to a husband, lift him up.

You speak to your husband, you're like you're going to make

it. You're going to do great things.

You speak those things into your husband.

Oh my God, you don't have a Superman.

Whoa, Hallelujah, strong. So this week just very simple,

find 3 things. That's right.

So when you look at it, you find 3 things that's right, they're

good. And then you don't just think

it, you speak it. You say, wow, I really

appreciate the way that you work so hard.

You work so hard. I really appreciate how you are.

I appreciate how you are with the kids.

I appreciate you're amazing how you always study and strong.

How do you speak it? Speak those three things.

So that's what you do. You say I'm so proud of you and

then you express it daily. You express the love every day

and you speak those words. I love you, I appreciate you.

Because listen, you cannot microwave yesterday's love,

yesterday's compliment and think that that is still going to

taste fine. It tastes good.

It's yesterday's compliment. It's microwave yesterday.

It doesn't taste good today. And so, you know, Michelle knows

that I love her. Now.

It's easy for me to think, well, you know, I've, I've already

told her like 1000 times I love her.

And so it's very easy for me to think, well, I don't have to

tell her again. But what I've learned is that

people don't get tired of hearing the right words.

So I tell her often. Oh, my darling, Michelle, you

are so beautiful. OK.

Yesterday, Valentine's Day. Wow, my Valentine, you are

amazing. You're beautiful.

Now, I didn't just stop there. At Valentine's Day again today,

I told her, I love you, my darling, you are beautiful.

You are the one. I'll marry you again in a

second. OK, so she never once said oh,

stop. Well, she never.

She never said that. I've never heard her ever say

and stop. Well, you know, I already know

that you love me. I really doubt that.

You've told me that I'm beautiful.

She never said stop. No, she receives it.

And again I said, hey, if I, I told you just you know, I love

you yesterday, Valentine's, but can I to die?

I just want to say I love you again and again.

So what am I doing? I am speaking a blessing over my

heart. I'm speaking a blessing over

her. And you can do the same.

You can speak a blessing over your loved ones, speak a

blessing over your family, other people speak a blessing over

somebody. OK.

You know, even with Michelle, when she uploads the sermon on

social media and she says to me, hey, well, hey, that was a great

message that encourages me and inspires me.

It strengthens me. I'm like, keep the compliments

coming. I'm like, yeah, bring it on.

Because encouragement strengthens people, OK, And

people can't read your thoughts. So Michelle could thought all

day long that was a good sermon unfolded.

But her thoughts doesn't bless me.

It's until she speaks it. A blessing is not a blessing

until it's spoken. And so they need to yearn on a

regular basis every day, not just on Valentine's Day, not

just on the birthday, not just on the wedding day or the

anniversary day, on a regular basis.

Be generous with compliments. I'm telling you, wherever you

go, people at work, wherever, complimenting one another every

day, you tell them, listen, I love you.

Just be generous every day. And so listen, let me just help

some couples here, OK? Don't magnify the 20% that's

wrong and ignore the 80% that's faithful.

Come on, somebody, I'm just telling you this is I've been

married for 20 years and I'm just giving you some practical

stuff here because a lot of people, they just focus on the

sword. That's wrong, OK.

But when we got married, that wasn't an issue.

But now years later, that becomes like a big issue now.

So a lot of people, they just focus on the little bit that's

wrong and they forget about all the good that's right.

So focus on the 80% that is right and speak that, OK.

Because sometimes the love isn't gone.

It's just a love language that's gone cold.

So let's say it out loud. Say my home will be full of

placing words, starting at my home will be full of placing

words. And parents, this matters so

much because kids and children store words.

They replay words, they keep those words, OK?

So what you speak over them becomes part of them and how

they see themselves, those words, OK.

And so that's why speak blessing, speak identity, speak

destiny, speak the future. You are a leader, you are kind,

you are smart, you are called 'cause hand is on.

I love you, I'm proud of you, I believe in you because there's

that unique authority that God has placed in the home,

especially on parents these days, mentors and leaders and

coaches at schools, teachers carry a level of authority

through words. But especially at home parents

and especially the father who imparts this.

Because when a dad, a father says something, I'm proud of

you, it lags different, it carries weight, it releases

security when a dad speaks over his kids.

And so that's why some people today are still striving, still

performing, still trying to prove they are enough, because

they have never received one sentence than one sentence.

They've never heard that one sentence from their parents.

I'm proud of you, my son. And they miss.

And that's when you look at David was overlooked by his own

dad, by Jesus. Remember First Samuel chapter

1 Samuel 16 · chapter mention

16, when the prophet Samuel comes to this house looking for

the next king. And yes, JC lines up all his

sons, but Miss David overlook David.

And the sandals are listen, no, not this one.

OK, so he the dad's day, he's got royalty in his house, but he

he did not recognize it. OK.

And so I wonder how many Davids are sitting at our tables,

living under our roofs, and what they need to hear most.

This is what they need most. Is somebody to speak a blessing

under that? So don't miss the King or the

Queen in your house, OK? Speak the blessing.

Now, maybe you didn't get this from your parents.

Maybe your parents weren't around.

Maybe your father, earthly father were not around and you

didn't get it. Maybe all that you got in your

life was telling you what was wrong and you just got

direction. And so here's the good news.

That doesn't have to pass down, OK?

You can be the difference maker. You can set the new standard in

your home, OK, because real leaders, they speak blessing, OK

Real leaders, coaches, mentors, teachers, OK, they speak, they

speak life, OK. And so if you're carrying any of

the great from the pastors and it's never too late, you can

still speak a blessing to a family member, to somebody.

You can it's not so never too late.

You can bless your children, even if they're grown up, grown

up kids, you still, it's never too late, right?

So pick up the phone, send the text, set up lunch, say those

words. OK, so let this be your decision

today. I will not withhold the

blessing. Come on, let's say it together.

I will not withhold the blessing.

Say it again. I will not withhold the blessing

because I know not everyone receives blessed words in life.

Now God does not leave you empty because the Bible says that he's

a father to the fatherless. In the book of Psalm, chapter

Psalms 68 · chapter mention

68, verse five, he's a father to the fatherless.

Now let me tell you about him, man.

His name is Ben Hooper, and he grew up with a single mom.

And so he carried this pain in this womb of not knowing his

father. And so one day he slipped into

the back of the church. Hopefully no one for nobody to

notice him sitting at the back of the church.

And so after the service the past asked and he said who's

childhood? And so the room went quiet and

the pastor smiles and he says, I see the resemblance.

You are a child of Almighty God. 01 moment, shame is broken off

his life, rejection, isolation broken off his life and destiny,

restore destiny, identity coming alive in a moment, one sentence.

And that's what the Father is doing today.

He's not naming you by your past, He's naming you by your

belonging. God is your father.

You might not have gotten this from your earthly dad, but you

are getting from your heavenly Father.

So God is our Father and what our Father to do.

He is speaking blessing over you right now.

Your father is saying over you now.

I am proud of you, my son and my daughter.

You are valuable. I love you my children.

God is saying over you. You are going to do great

things. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

God is my father. Somebody say God, he's my father

and his blessing, he's on me. Give God surprise somebody.

Is this OK? Is this help?

Somebody OK? Can I throw one more in just

because of time? Let me just, I'll close with one

more. Taste the buddy.

OK, one more, right. So let me close with this one.

Robert. He grew up with his father and

so his dad struggled and fought with alcoholism and so Robert

did everything that he could to be the opposite of his dad.

And so he became successful. Success, achievement, football,

he became a star. But deep down Robert carried A

wound. He carried pay because as far as

he knew, his dad never came to one of his games.

Not one game, not one sports. He never came to watch him play,

not one game. He never had heard one single

compliment from his dad. Never heard one.

I am proud of you, my son. Never heard I love you.

Never. And so years later, Robert found

out about the truth that his dad had come to any of his games,

but he just stood off for off hiding because she was feeling

ashamed of his drinking. But his dad had come to the

games, he was just hiding away. And so Robert thought that his

dad doesn't care, but really, in reality, he does care.

It's just his dad because of his drinking, struggling with his

drinking. He just didn't know how to

express his love to his son. He just didn't know how to speak

it and say to his son the right way.

And then one day the phone rang. Your dad had a heart attack

might not make it. Robert rushed to the hospital

very quickly got into the hospital, writing machines,

beeping quiet room, heavy moment.

And his father is in drifting in and out, confused consciousness

drifting in and out. And in that days, my God, his

dad thinks that his son Robert is the doctor.

And all of a sudden, out of no way, the blessing comes out.

His father says, oh, doctor, have I ever told you about my

son Robert? Oh, my son Robert, how proud I

am of him. And he starts talking about and

bragging about really son's life.

He's a wonderful son. Doctor, I told you how much I

love my son. I love watching play sports.

And he says that he thinks this is the doctor and the place he

comes out. Nice doctor.

And now he's even a pastor and he's doing great things.

My son Robert. I'm so proud of him, doctor.

And right there, Robert has a grown man, right?

Tears streaming down. He's weeping, tears streaming

down his face because right there in the hospital room, he

heard the words that he waited 30 years to.

Yeah. And he heard those words.

That's hated. He didn't need another trophy.

He didn't need another medal. He didn't need another title.

He didn't need more success. He needed a sentence from his

dad. A church.

They someone in Gore world that needs a sentence from you.

There's someone in your family, in your world around you.

They need to hear a sentence from you.

They are waiting on you for a sentence to speak the blessing

over them. They are waiting for you to

speak life. Just one sentence, not a long

speech, just a blessing. I'm proud of you, I love you.

I believe in you. Because a blessing is not a

blessing until it spoke. And so there's Robert's dad.

It came out in a hospital room. The blessing.

Finally, it cannot. Finally Robert heard those

words. Finally that he waited for 30

years and the blessing cannot. And his dad waited for all those

till hospital. You don't have to wait.

Speak life while there is still time.

Speak life while house can still heal.

Don't wait for a critical moment.

Don't wait for a funeral. Don't wait for regret.

Don't wait for a crisis. These family members, they are

waiting on you. If it's maybe somebody, I'm

like, Lord, is there anybody in South Africa I could fuck

quickly if it's an auntie or somebody and I could just speak

those words over there, just a quick word.

And I try and do it as much as I can.

I'm like, Mama, I just want to tell you thanks.

Thank you, Lord, for my mom. Mama, I just want to tell you,

Dad, I just want to tell you in the magazine, you've done your

best. Thank you.

Just pick up the phone and find that family member.

They're waiting. So speak the blessing.

Come, let's all stand to our feet now.

I want you to feel the kindness of God in this room.

Now. Some of you have been strong on

the outside, but on the inside you carry insecurity, rejection

Shank, maybe a feeling of insecurity, you're not good

enough, OK, I'm not good enough. And some of you, it's not even

what was said, but it's what was not or never said.

And you grew up without hearing the blessing.

Maybe it's from earthly parrots. Without hearing I love you, I'm

proud of you without hearing that.

And you have been trying to earn and perform and strive just to

feel secure. Now others in the room, your

home needs healing. Your marriage is under strain,

your relationships and you need restoration.

Others, you are parenting your very best, but you are worried

about the kids. You need God to strengthen your

home. So if that's you right now, just

lift up your hand. If that's you, I just want to

see you thankful. Yes, yes, raise those hands for

the Lord. Thank you.

God sees every hand raised. Now put your hand on your heart.

This is a moment of healing because God is a restorer, God

is a healer, and God is a Father who speaks blessing over your

life. He speaks blessing over his

children. So I'm just going to pray for

you right now. And Father, I thank you for your

goodness in this room. I thank you for your kindness.

Yeah, Lord, I thank you, Lord, that you bring healing in

hearts. Every heart Lord, every person

touch you see everyone, Lord, that you brought here today,

thank you that you restore. And right now I speak healing

and restoration to heart. Lord, I thank you that right now

silence every voice of rejection, fear, silence every

voice of shame, comparison, break the pressure to prove and

to perform. Our Lord, I break every negative

word ever spoken over any person in this place and their families

represented. I break negative words.

And Lord, I thank you that you speak blessing words over your

children right now. Release the Father's voice over

your sons and your daughters. Father, I speak a blessing over

homes, over marriages, Restore love, give parents wisdom and

grace. Lord, bless the children,

protect the children, bring peace in households.

And Lord, we decide today we will not withhold the blessing,

but we will speak life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

So church, we're going to speak it.

Say this out loud. God's blessing is on my life.

I am loved and chosen, accepted by my father.

Every negative word is broken. Identity is restored.

I have strength and courage, a sound mind.

My home will be strong. My home will be healthy.

My home will be faithful. My marriage will be covered with

peace and honor. My children will be protected

and blessed. This is a year of God's

blessing. I will not withhold the

blessing. I will speak the blessing.

So open up your mouth and speak blessing.

Every one of us speak blessing. Like I said, there's people

waiting on the other side to yeah, the blessing, OK, to yeah,

the blessing. In the mornings when I wake up,

the first person, I bless the Lord, We have a conversation

with the Lord. Very awkward driving in the car.

Somebody says next year there's no communication, convers,

silence. OK, so let's have some

conversations with the Lord, OK? If you believe it, give God some

praise somebody. And this is I, we're going to go

deeper next Sunday. It's going to be amazing this

whole series how God puts his name on.

And I right now I believe God is placing his name on families and

households. Atmospheres are shifting.

Yes, it's shifting right now. God's blessing is on your Life,

OK? Where there has been pressure,

God is releasing peace. Where there has been striving,

God is releasing security. I meant and right now negative

cycles are breaking negative words, hearing not wrong,

negative words from family members or so forth.

That's broken off your life in the name of Jesus.

But shame is lifting in homes is shifting the power of God.

It is shifting by the power of the spoken blessing.

OK, so this week the Lord is giving you words to bolt, words

to heal that heal, and words that unlock doors.

Now before we go any further, I want to give the greatest

invitation that I can give you, and that is the greatest place.

It is a restored relationship with God.

So if you say past the world, I need to come home to Jesus,

maybe I've drifted. Maybe it's your first time you

ever give your life to Jesus or you're drifted and you want to

come home. If that is you right now, I just

want to give you an opportunity to very quickly just raise your

hands to anybody at this place. Yeah, I see that hand.

God bless you. Anybody just hates power.

Just close your eyes for a moment.

Just anybody that says I want to rededicate.

I want to come back home to Jesus.

Yes, if today my heart stops beating as my last nice day

before God, I know I'm going to heaven and I know I'm right with

God. So right now church, just pray

this out loud with thank Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins.

I believe you died and rose again.

I receive your forgiveness and your love come into my heart.

Make me new. I receive you as my Lord and my

Saviour in Jesus name, Amen. OK, so yes, praise not welcome

to God's family. You're a part of God's family

now. Yes, we're going to pray in a

minute. I just want to release one.

Yes, yes, we'll do that in a minute.

So we're going to do that in a moment because I'm going to do

what the Lord showed me how to do, release the blessing.

And so we're going to do what God told his people how to bless

his people. And that's straight from

structure from the Bible is Numbers chapter 6.

Numbers 6 · chapter mention

OK, Speak the blessing. So now I'm going to speak the

blessing over you and receive it like it's coming from your

Father, from your heavenly fathers, because it comes

straight from Scripture, from your Father.

OK. And then God will do.

The Father will do what only he can do Amen.

So if you are ready to receive the blessing, raise your hands

to heaven, open your heart. And I want you to receive this

blessing straight from heaven. The Lord bless you and keep you.

The Lord lift up his face upon you and be gracious to you.

The Lord lift up his countless upon you and give you peace.

Shalom, Amen. It's done.

So if you go this week, remember a blessing isn't a blessing

until it's spoken. OK, So bless your children,

bless your spouse, bless your family members, bless your

future, your job, bless big blessing in your neighborhood.

Everywhere you go, Hallelujah, you are blessed.
