Because I really, I want to share basics to real families
-
today. And so Are you ready for the
-
words? I really believe God has got a
-
word for your hope for your family.
-
God has got grace for your hope. God has got strength for your
-
home. And I believe that before this
-
service is over, somebody's going to know God.
-
Heaven has stepped into your family story, Amen.
-
I believe your life's never going to be the same again.
-
You're going to walk out of this place with fresh strength, the
-
grace of God on your lives. Amen.
-
So yes, we're going to go on to Nehemiah chapter 4.
Nehemiah 4 chapter mention
-
Now in week two of our Strong Family series, we are going to
-
talk about Fight for the family. Now, I believe this series is
-
just really blessing families. And you know, when I start
-
talking about real families, real families that we love God,
-
OK, real families that still wake up and I still lose a shoe
-
now and then every morning. OK, So real families that can
-
pray in the spirit, but still cannot find the car keys.
-
OK, Can we be real in this place today?
-
Is it OK? We just talk real and just open
-
and honest with you and transparent, OK, Always anybody,
-
you know, perfection. OK, Let's not let's not protect
-
families. Let's be real families.
-
OK, So families that say, all right, OK, we are leaving in 5
-
minutes. And then 14 minutes later, we're
-
still standing at the front door.
-
OK, I'm just going to be real this morning.
-
OK? So yeah, things can get
-
sometimes rough in families. And I'm just going to manage the
-
from personal experience in my home, my life, what God has been
-
showing us from the word of God. And I really believe it's going
-
to bless your life today. And so is that OK if we talk to
-
real families? So I'm in the right place today.
-
I meant we could just just be real.
-
And yeah, so the subject today that we're going to be talking
-
about is, is fight for your family.
-
And so let's put it up there for for for us, fight for your
-
family. So kicker working there we go
-
strong family. That's all serious.
-
And then the next one is the I think that the the clicker
-
probably needs some charging. All right, so fight for your
-
family. And like I say, fight on our
-
knees, lift our hands, praise worship.
-
OK. And so when we worship God, we
-
are fighting for our families. And I want to show you here from
-
the word of God, because I really believe that God, he's
-
raising up a people who's standing for family, standing
-
for her, fighting for what matters most right now, what
-
matters most because the attack, the enemy has come hard against
-
the home. The enemy has come hard against
-
marriage families, against our values, the values that matter
-
to God, OK? And if it matters to God, it's
-
worth fighting for, OK? It's worth fighting for a
-
marriage, for a family. It's worth fighting for your
-
children. It's worth fighting for your
-
peace. It's worth fighting for the
-
values that we stand in the word of God.
-
And so here is the good news that the God who has told us to
-
fight for our families is the same God.
-
We promise that he would fight for us.
-
My God, the battle will be rocks at all.
-
So yes, God says fight for your family and the same God promise
-
I'll fight for you. And we're going to see this in
-
Nehemiah chapter 4. We're going to pick it up there.
Nehemiah 4 chapter mention
-
And I just want to give you some context.
-
When Nehemiah is rebuilding the walls of the broken walls of
-
Jerusalem, OK? Now it's very important when God
-
builds his house, he raises the walls because wall stands for
-
protection. And so he's building up this
-
strong city, the city of Jerusalem, the city of God, and
-
he's rebuilding the broken walls that has been ruined in Rubbles
-
for too long. The people have lived.
-
And here in the middle of the rebuilding process, he got up
-
and this is where we're going to pick up the birds right now.
-
And he makes this very powerful statement and he says fight for
-
your families. Now this is in the middle of
-
rebuilding. He makes that study so powerful
-
to God. Fight for your families.
-
And then just a few verses, the Greenfield next verse I'm going
-
to show you verse 20, he says God will fight for you.
-
And I want you to see the connection between the two.
-
OK, and it's and I'm going to show you here from let's pick it
-
up here from verse 13, Nehemiah 14, verse 13, he says you.
-
Therefore, I position men behind the lower parts of the wall at
-
the openings. And I said to people according
-
to their families, everybody say families.
-
OK, so families, it's I want you to grab all of this with their
-
souls, OK, with their Spears. These are weapons.
-
They both and I looked and I rose and I said to the nobles,
-
to the leaders and to the rest of the people, do not be afraid
-
of them. Now watch this.
-
Remember, the Lord writes an awesome fight for your brethren,
-
your sons, your daughters, your wives, your houses.
-
Fight for your family. Somebody said fight for your
-
family. Hallelujah.
-
Now let's go to the next verse 20.
-
Watch this wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet rally dead.
-
Our God will fight for us. There it is.
-
I want you to grab hold of this revelation, this connection
-
between the two. Fight for your family.
-
And as you fight for your family, remember this.
-
God will fight for us. The power belongs to the
-
Hallelujah. Let's just pray.
-
Father, I thank you for your praises, every person here.
-
Father, I thank you that you love families, that you speak to
-
us this morning. Every person, every family
-
represented. Yes, let's fight the rise.
-
Let's strength the rise. Let every person in this place
-
walk out just stronger than they came in.
-
Jesus mighty name somebody shout.
-
I met some years ago, there was this true story that was told in
-
this movie called The Monuments Men World War 2.
-
They chose and selected a group of men and these people that
-
they've chosen, they knew the value and the beauty of
-
something that's priceless. And so they selected these group
-
of these people. And you know, in this World War
-
2, the the bombs were going, the cities were under fire, nations
-
were raised, chaos everywhere. And so when they selected these
-
group of people, these are not, I mean, they send them into the
-
danger of war zone. But these are not the kind of
-
people that you sit on the front lines.
-
These are not your kind of solve.
-
These are artists, OK? These are historians, OK, in
-
museum directors. These are not the kind of people
-
that you sit to the frontline, but they are artists.
-
They know the beauty of something that's priceless, the
-
values of these treasures. And so these guys, they go,
-
right? They're defending amongst this
-
dangerous war zone, defending odds, defending these treasures,
-
these cultural treasures. They defending these cathedrals.
-
I mean, it's bombs everywhere here in Europe, and it's bombs
-
going off. And this group of people, they
-
know what the value is, what matters most.
-
They don't want us to go lose this for the next generation.
-
We got to get that art. I mean, this art is priceless.
-
We are talking about history. Yeah.
-
And they understand the value of that and they defend it with
-
their lives. These treasures, they go out
-
this group of people and they defend it.
-
What they love. Monuments free draws all over
-
them. And when I think about that
-
story, it reminds me, I think, I think about the family this that
-
one of the greatest treasures that God has given us is hope.
-
Yeah. One of the greatest treasures
-
that God has given us is our loved ones, our family members
-
is hope. And so family is a treasure.
-
And so these guys, they are defending these arts and all
-
these, I believe family marriage is a treasure, your children is
-
a treasure. Peace is a treasure.
-
And so it's because it is precious, it must be guarded
-
because it's valuable, it must be protected.
-
If he manages to God, if family manages to God, it ought to
-
matter to us. Yeah.
-
Yeah. Because you know the enemy, the
-
devil wants to heal, kill and destroy and damage and torn down
-
and bring the vision in the homes, in the family, in these
-
treasures that God has placed in our lives, our marriages, our
-
family, our children. The enemy wants to steal, kill
-
and destroy. OK, but God is raising up a
-
people, a strong families, mothers, fathers, husbands,
-
wives, God, his grandparents raising them up and says,
-
listen, the enemy will not have these treasures.
-
The enemy will not have our family.
-
They will not have our kids, our values, what we stand for, what
-
we believe for in the hope the enemy or the culture will not
-
have it. And here comes Nehemiah and he
-
says fight for your family, for your hope, fight for your
-
values, for your Christian values in this time that we are
-
living in, stand up and fight for those family members, OK?
-
And that is the language of a strong family with strong
-
values, who knows they belong to God, who knows who they belong
-
to? Who says fear has no place in
-
this house, Confusion has no place in this house, Compromise
-
has no place in this house. Doubt has no place because this
-
house belongs to God. Somebody say this house belongs
-
to God. Come on, put your hands together
-
and shout it out. This house belongs God.
-
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. OK, now so now I started
-
rebuilding the wall. And so that's a picture of a
-
wall of protection in the homes, a strong homes, strong family, a
-
wall of protection wall that means safety and security in
-
your home. So this is a picture when it's
-
rebuilding the walls going up, rising up, a strong home, the
-
the walls, it's rising up, it's going up and walls of
-
protection. And I believe that was what God
-
is doing in our lives in the season.
-
He's pulling and rebuilding the the walls.
-
He's rising for safety and protection.
-
And so your family might not be look like it's got it all
-
together, might not be perfect, but the walls is rising.
-
Maybe it is that the son or the boat or the child is still in
-
the process. That's not not perfect, although
-
this still looks like a man, but the walls, the wall is rising.
-
That's what is pulling in our OK, we are on a journey, OK.
-
And so that's where God is saying now the wall is rising in
-
the Hut. And so I guess you, your house
-
may still have some issues and some Mace in it, but the wall is
-
rising. I mean, somebody say the wall is
-
rising, the wall is rising. Tell your neighbors, say the
-
wall is rising. Yes, the wall is rising.
-
God is building his church, his building family.
-
And so Nehemiah, he started rebuilding the walls and as soon
-
as he started rebuilding the walls, here's what happened.
-
The enemy started resisting the moment he started.
-
There it is in the world. I want to show you the verse
-
because I was looking at some reading wow, what is happening
-
here and it just shows the the rebuilding started and and and
-
yes, the the the enemy is resisting.
-
Now watch this in verse. Can you give me verse one
-
Nehemiah chapter 4 Yes, but it so happened when some pilot
Nehemiah 4 chapter mention
-
heard that we were rebuilding the wall.
-
Now watch this that he was furious and very indigo so very,
-
very angry. OK and so Nehemiah rebuild the
-
balls opposition rose up against him.
-
And so when you start rebuilding your home, your marriage
-
rebuilding, OK, do not be surprised when pressure shows
-
up. OK, when you start rebuilding,
-
what matters most in your life? When you start rebuilding and
-
don't be surprised when pressure start, when you start praying
-
more, when you start making church priority on a Sunday,
-
when we are the Bible, read the Bible at home, praying with
-
kids, do not be surprised when they push back, OK, Because
-
that's what the Scripture says, that they, the enemy, the
-
resistance is a sign that something very valuable is being
-
restored. That's the sign.
-
So this is resistance. It shows that listen, you are
-
building, you are doing what is right.
-
And the moment the rebuilding started, that's where the
-
opposition also started. So if there has been some
-
difficulty around you and your home, in your life, pressure
-
going up and around your family situation, okay, that is our God
-
has marked your hope for rebuilding, Goddess marked you.
-
So heaven is moving, Heaven is stepping in, Heaven is working
-
in your family, in your marriage, in your home,
-
rebuilding, OK, in the walls. And so the wall is rising.
-
And I believe that that is what is happening in the season where
-
prayer is rising, peace is rising, joy is rising in our
-
homes. And so every family needs to
-
hear this, that you do not have to have a perfect family for God
-
to move in your house. You don't have to have it all
-
together all the time, perfect for God to move and be in your
-
house. You don't have to.
-
OK, that's A, and so a strong home, a strong family is not a
-
flawless family. A strong family is not a family
-
with no mistakes, no problems, no difficult, no challenge, OK,
-
No, a strong family is a family that always turn to God, turn
-
back to God. That is a strong home and strong
-
'cause God can still move. He can move in families in, you
-
know, in a, in a troubled house, in a tired house, okay, in a
-
Mesa house, God can still move there.
-
So it doesn't have to be perfect for the home to be filled with
-
God's presence, okay, I'm talking from Explorer.
-
We know that things get difficult, hard, okay?
-
But I thank God for his presence.
-
It's still in our home, regardless of difficulties and
-
precious that we go through as a home in the family, God's praise
-
is still there. So I wanted to grab this
-
relation and that's why I said to you, is it OK if we just talk
-
real today and not take that everything is all perfect and
-
let's just be real that we live in with some challenges and some
-
precious in everyday family life.
-
It gets hard and difficult, but I thank God that God's presence
-
still there. Some of the most strongest
-
families I know is not the polished ones.
-
It's not the picture perfect families, but it's families that
-
keep on praying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
-
yeah. That's just the strong families
-
I know. It's families.
-
They still keep on believing. They still keep on making room
-
for God, even though we are all on the journey.
-
We all make mistakes and trouble and difficulties, but we are on
-
the journey. But God is still there with us.
-
I thank God that he doesn't just leave me.
-
Thank God for that song. He's with us in the fire.
-
I thank God when he gets hard and difficult and struggling,
-
that he doesn't just leave. He stays with us in the mess, in
-
the trouble, in the difficult. He's with us in the fire.
-
Wow, I love that. Come on someone, He will never
-
leave us. He never beside us.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
Yeah. And so I want to show you that
-
this picture of Rahab's story, and it's a powerful picture of
-
grace because Rahab proves that no family background is bigger
-
than God's grace. Hallelujah.
-
And so the Scripture, it doesn't hide her past.
-
Listen, the Bible Hebrews 11 caller Ryad the prostitute and I
-
want to talk about Ryad the prostitute.
-
It's right there, OK, So God did not take that out of the bar.
-
He left it in the barn. So he left that portion.
-
You know that Ryad the prostitute in the Bible.
-
So for a purpose so that when we really that we know that there
-
is nothing in our past that is bigger than God's grace.
-
Oh Hallelujah, nothing is bigger.
-
No, no, go fast. OK.
-
And so rehab did did not have a perfect past.
-
And I could just imagine that there was night when she was
-
just like he looked up and thought, oh, God, if you're
-
real. But if you're really real, OK,
-
could you do something in my life?
-
Could you have mercy on my life? God, if you real, could you
-
change the story of my life, my family?
-
If you really could you change you have a future for somebody
-
like me, OK. Because in Jericho, she was OK
-
right here, right? And she's trying out to God.
-
And the enemy for sure is using that as like, yeah, look at your
-
mistakes. Look at your past.
-
Look at what's been going on in your family line.
-
What family are you coming from? What's a family?
-
What bloodline? OK, so yeah.
-
And so the enemy's like, look at the mess that you are in right
-
now. But the devil is a liar.
-
The devil is a liar because when you run towards car, car and you
-
just give one step towards God, God comes running back to the
-
God comes running. Hallelujah.
-
That's our God. That's our God.
-
When Kisa was sinking under that water, he just go help.
-
Jesus was right there, hold him up.
-
That's our God. He's a very present help in the
-
time of trouble. My children can cry out one
-
crime and nature daddy's right there, that's our God.
-
Some people have to think that oh, God is far away.
-
God is very, very present, very close at work, at family where
-
Jesus is there. Oh, it is on my son.
-
That's a father to a son. Now, if we know how to do good
-
to our kids, how much more will a heavenly father who's going to
-
dogs to ask it get in? My father.
-
My father. Yes, my son.
-
I'm Ranger. Oh, that's a great God.
-
He can't run into you. Now, listen, people might write
-
you off. God, that's not right.
-
People might label you according to your worst past mistake.
-
God sees valley purpose tastily. Yeah.
-
How do people they saw? Well, yeah, all right.
-
Broken reputation. Oh, the lady.
-
Oh, lady of the process. A terrico.
-
The people saw a broken lady. God sees a woman of faith who's
-
about to shift her family story forever.
-
She's about to shift her family. Are we talking about the same
-
person? Well, I'm going to show you this
-
is powerful, Josh. This is powerful because, yes,
-
Joshua said to you spies. Yeah, this price goes into
-
Jericho. Where did they go of all of
-
Jericho? Where did they go?
-
To Raya's house, OK. Rayaf did not have a perfect
-
house, OK? Now I just want to say that
-
that's why I said you do not have to have a perfect family.
-
Forgot to move in our house. I said why?
-
They go to Yeah, they go to Raya's house, OK.
-
And so, yes, Raiha. And she had said she opens the
-
door. She welcomed them, protected
-
them, and she allied herself with the God of Israel.
-
Oh, my God, my God. Whoa.
-
Whose side will you? I just want to be on the right
-
side. Whoa.
-
Because you know what's going to come to Jericho when you read
-
the Bible? What's going to happen to
-
Jericho? Big destruction.
-
Big destruction. The structure is about to happen
-
to the entire city, be analyzed, completely destroyed the hearts,
-
all of it. So you want to be on the right
-
side before the destruction comes.
-
And yes, Sarah Ray happens. She aligns herself, and I love
-
it because the moment, and this is powerful, the moment, she's
-
been giving a chance to ask for something.
-
She did not ask for promotion. She did not ask for poster
-
status. She did not ask for a title,
-
right? I don't ask.
-
He had the opportunity. Like what?
-
What can we do? You've helped us now.
-
OK. I'm not going to ask for money.
-
OK. Listen, I'm going to ask for my
-
family. Who?
-
Jesus. OK.
-
Hallelujah. Somebody's getting this.
-
Yes. Let me get this.
-
Yeah, you get. She asked.
-
Yeah. For her family, not through
-
motion, not status or influence, not a pause.
-
A family. My God, Hallelujah.
-
It pleases me every time when I read that she's like, save my
-
family. My mother, my daddy, my
-
brothers, sisters, everybody who is connected to me, save them.
-
That's the ones I want you to speak.
-
Destruction is coming. The whole city is going to be
-
destroyed and wiped out. I want my family peace.
-
And we talked last week about Noah, what happened again, we
-
see this over and over throughout the Bible with the
-
blood, and they are now. I want you to grab hold of this
-
because I'm going to show you something amazing.
-
This is so powerful because she asked for her family.
-
And that is faith. It's courage, it's politics.
-
When we take a stand, we fight. That's what we fight for your
-
family. Now here she is and she's
-
fighting for her family. A broken reputation, broken
-
background in a wicked city and so yet she had the fight of
-
faith to believe for God who reached her in her mess, in her
-
problems in her difficult for God to also reach her family.
-
God, if you can reach this wretched man, if you could reach
-
me in my mess, in my troubles, Oh my God, this same guy can
-
also reach my family. If you could reach a Rashid man
-
like me with my troubles in my mess.
-
If you could reach my heart, the prostitute God.
-
And she had the point of five to believe God, if you could reach
-
me at all. Me then reply, you can also
-
reach my family. My God, save my family.
-
Oh, I believe it's a way for somebody to die because you may
-
look at your family and all that you see is a mess.
-
You see one family member in fright Masonry.
-
You see one family in your idolatry Fright Mason's closes.
-
So Antheus, you see a mess when you look at your family.
-
Oh God, when I look at my bloodline, how can you change my
-
life? How can you change my family?
-
Oh, but the grace of God can break the curse.
-
You know, the grace of God can turn it around.
-
The grace of God can bring a brand new future just like you
-
broke into my life. I was in a Pretoria studying Oh
-
God came me to my life. God got me out of the streets.
-
I was on my only God lifting up and I stood up and God saved me
-
and I said, God, now that you have saved me, I'm asking you
-
for my family, my father and my mother.
-
Why thank God I was reaching out for my family in the diagnostic.
-
I was just finding out my family.
-
People were in the hostel, people were in the people were
-
in the almost 1 and they were I mean, I came from an office of
-
Pretoria. Here I am the guys are saying,
-
do you know what's happened to Philip who the the athlete, the
-
guy that won. He says that was a man's the the
-
celebs. That guy, he got sad.
-
His life is not the same anymore.
-
He's not on the streets anymore. Oh my God.
-
And you know, the fire of God touched me.
-
I will apartment don't come, Hallelujah.
-
And you know we can't pull me out.
-
I started to my family. I was on my case.
-
Dad, you've got to come and see this.
-
We go to church. Oh my God, there's tower in the
-
church. I took my dad into church.
-
My mum got fooled with the Holy Ghost.
-
She got that size. My brother, you're shy.
-
He's now in German. He's a surgeon.
-
Successful surgery on fire for Jesus.
-
My God, I said, I'm not my family.
-
I want anything. One of them, I don't want music
-
to hell. I want them in heaven.
-
And they fall up straight. Hey, they could see here's on
-
Flint. This guy's not sweating like a
-
sailor anymore. He used to work, used to
-
everywhere. And I'm like, listen, this guy's
-
chase, What's happened to him? What's happened to a wool?
-
Yeah, he had an encounter with God.
-
Now, I want you to see this because these spies gave the
-
Raya 2 very powerful obstructions, and I want you to
-
grab hold of us today. The first thing is the scarlet
-
rub. Yeah, remember he said put the
-
rub outside of the window. That's the first one.
-
The second one, watch this. Get your family in the house,
-
something. It's all out of me now, and it's
-
anointing for you. God sent me the other day to put
-
that on your life. I'm not there for me.
-
I'm here for God's sake. Put this anointing on your life.
-
Your life will never be the same again.
-
I'm telling you your families will never be the same again.
-
What God has done for me, he's going to do for you.
-
I want you to grab others because the spy said get them in
-
the house. OK, so the first thing is the
-
scholar drug. Mark the house, right?
-
OK, mark the house. Cover the house, right?
-
So it speaks of the blood of you.
-
The second thing, can everyone of them get them in the house?
-
OK? And so this is very important
-
time that we're living in now. It's not a time to just be
-
casually isolated. It's not a time to treat the
-
House of God just as secondary, as optional.
-
It's just something nice that we do because we, it's not just a
-
wicked routine, OK? The House of God is life giving,
-
it's times building, it's soul saving soul.
-
OK, that's the House of God. All right.
-
And so we get them in the house. And so we are talking about life
-
in day fear because terraca is about to be destroyed.
-
Only those who were in the house were saved.
-
Yeah, but it's all in the Bible reading, reading over and over.
-
You see everything. Only the the entire remember
-
what happened? I was all this whose house he
-
made Raya. And the only people in the house
-
were spared of the entire Raya and her house, everything they
-
were spared. That's why the spies told they
-
said get your family in the house.
-
Especially in this lost generation that we are living in
-
these laws. They stay in the House of God,
-
stay in the country. We God has granted you we God is
-
connected. You stay in the House of God
-
where the word of God is being preached, where the presence of
-
God, the Holy Spirit is welcome. The rubber of God is moving and
-
flowing. Stay connected.
-
It matters, OK, in the presence of God because that's far court.
-
It points us to the blood of Jesus.
-
The blood of Jesus speaks of mercy.
-
And in the blood of Jesus, under the mercies of Jesus Christ,
-
there's safety, there's protection.
-
And that's why every day we plead the blood on our kids, we
-
plead the blood on our homes and our families.
-
We plead the blood. We mark our homes, our families
-
with the blood. We say thank you, Lord, for the
-
blood of Jesus protecting our lives.
-
And so Raya became a euro. Now this five year is very, very
-
powerful. So Raya became a 5 year old.
-
Now this is just amazing. But gosh, so Raya became so she
-
got her family in the house. She became a 5 year old.
-
Yeah, because she got her family in the house.
-
Yeah. Wow, great.
-
In five year old she didn't preach her son.
-
OK, you're a five year you didn't pick up the mic behind
-
the pulpit, but Rayad you are a five year.
-
Rayad did not lead a nation. She did five year.
-
Rayad is a five year. She got a house, she got her
-
family in the house and you're getting this church and that
-
matters to God. It matters to God so much that
-
God put her in Hebrews 11 amongst the €5, says amongst the
-
€5. She didn't break the server, she
-
didn't stop you on the bumper. She got her family 5 euro €5.
-
Now, can I go a little deeper? Yeah, because Raya was not
-
perfect. OK?
-
She's a faith hero, but not a perfect pass.
-
OK, Raya flawless. OK, broken reputation.
-
So it looked like she was disqualified in the natural.
-
OK, Raya possibly disqualified right now.
-
By the grace of God, she came through the bloodline bloodlet
-
family. Ignore it.
-
Come on, Ryan. Family line.
-
Oh, Jesus Christ. OK.
-
What bloodline do you have in your life?
-
Sir. Madam.
-
OK, Ryan, the prostate. Oh, OK.
-
Are we going to look at some bloodlines?
-
You look at the family lies. Yeah.
-
OK. Right.
-
So I just want to show you because when you read chapter
-
Matthew chapter 1, it does not say Riyadh the prostitute, it
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
doesn't say Riyadh the harlot. When you read in Matthew chapter
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
1, because I want you to see now the grace of God, how the grace
-
of God changes families, restore families, how the grace of God
-
is powerful. Because when you read in Matthew
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
chapter 1, talking about the family line of Jesus, God, it
-
doesn't talk about Ryan. It talks, it says simply right.
-
And it says that first. Before that it talks about
-
Simon, the father of Boaz. Who's Boaz?
-
His mother, Raya. Yeah.
-
So now what's happened? You don't.
-
She's not defined by her mistakes.
-
It price has turned her life on, gave her a brand new feel.
-
Now she's a wife. She's a mother.
-
Restored family. Can you see how God took her?
-
The grace of God changed her life.
-
Faith year. How Maya.
-
She fought family. Yeah, it's Ween.
-
It's a big national. Why did you grab all of us?
-
This is how we nonsense because yes, the grace of God, but he
-
says when you fight for your family, God will fight for you.
-
Raya, you fought for your family, Raya.
-
I will fight for you. Raya.
-
I'm going to give you a husband. You're going to be a mother.
-
You're going to have a restored family because you fight for
-
your family. 5 heroes? How many 5 heroes?
-
I see 5 heroes in this place. I see 5 heroes.
-
Oh my God, I've done some 5 heroes in this place.
-
A completely restored family. Rushed by the plant, Completely
-
change. Restored her strong family
-
through her. Oh my goodness, 5 heroes.
-
I'm sensing 5 heroes in this place.
-
My goodness. So let every parent, every
-
mother, father, grandparent in this room fight for your family.
-
This is about your children. This is about your home.
-
This is about eternity, OK? And I want you to fight for your
-
family. Get your family in the house in
-
the presence of God, OK? This is what we do.
-
Because in God's eyes, if you can get your family in the
-
house, if you can get your family under the blood, if you,
-
you can pray for your father, you're always pointing to Jesus.
-
You always pray for them. You always cover them.
-
If you can get your, that matches to God in the eyes of
-
God, you don't fight your own, fight your own in the eyes of
-
God, when you get your father, that's that's true success.
-
Let me just tell you, if I get my family ready for heaven, I'm
-
a success. Not because of my pastor, not
-
because of my minister, not because of the title, not
-
because of anything else, not because of anything in this
-
earthly world, any temporary thing that's true success.
-
Yeah. If I can get my family ready for
-
the for the coming of Jesus Christ, ready for heaven, if I
-
can get my family in the house ready for Jesus, I'm a success
-
more than driving a fancy car, more than being very successful
-
in business, a lot of money in the bank, all of that.
-
What about the family that really matters?
-
Because the thing that really matters before God is not how
-
much money it's got in the bank. It is what are you doing about
-
your family? Are you fighting for your
-
family? Because that is what matters,
-
not a title, not a status, not an applause.
-
I'm not hosting an applause. Have the house, have the car,
-
have all of that. Give me my family, family.
-
That is true success. If God, that's a five year,
-
that's our five year. When you get your house, your
-
family in the house, that's five year olds and you are a 5 year
-
old because God has put you in your family in this hour for
-
such a time as this. You are the five year old and
-
God has put you in your family in the months.
-
Your loved ones, you are the five year old.
-
You are the one called to pray. You are the one called to cover
-
them, to pray for them, to stand for your.
-
You are the five year old come on church, every one of us in
-
this race a fight. You know you are the one who to
-
fight and stand up for your family, fight for your manage
-
for your kids. You are the one to say for me at
-
the house we will serve the Lord.
-
This house belongs to God. You are the five heroes.
-
That's real success. Get your family in the house.
-
Get them ready for heaven. More than success, more than
-
land, more than applause, OK? That's God's eyes as a fight
-
hero. So bring us right back to
-
Nehemiah where we balance the everyday family life because it
-
says there that the boulders in one hand they were building, but
-
the other hand they had weapon. So that's how we do family life.
-
Because yes, family life, there's one side of it.
-
Yes, we work and we both and we do that.
-
But then there's another side that we've got to fight for our
-
family. We cannot just in a society, in
-
a culture where it's all busy, busy, busy, just running for
-
success and neglect the family. And we're on the next business
-
trip, we're on the next this and that.
-
And it's like, when am I spending time with my family?
-
When am I wasting that time in my home and my family?
-
And so people are just chasing off the more things of the
-
world. But really what matters people
-
got is the family. And it says here Maya 4 by 17.
-
It says those who pulled on the wall and those who carried
-
burdens loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked
-
at construction and with the other one the weapon.
-
So the one hand was building and then the other hand they had a
-
weapon. And so you got to build some
-
things. So you got to battle some
-
things. So we pulled in the home.
-
We build trust, we build communication.
-
Honestly, we have a conversation, OK.
-
And so we build trust and love and kindness in the home amongst
-
our family. And then we got against fear,
-
doubt, betrayal, hurts, emotional distance, isolating.
-
Live in the same house but called as a fridge.
-
Live in the same house, not talking, not communicating.
-
So what we need to do is the one side we're building and the
-
other side we are guarding against what we watch on
-
screens. Fight against that.
-
Protect the hope, protect the family.
-
Be careful with what you watch on the screen.
-
Fight. Resist pornography.
-
Pornography destroys the hope. Don't play with porn, watch what
-
you see with your eyes. Be careful in the home, do not
-
leave any open gaps. So you do not allow certain
-
things in the house. And So what do we prioritize in
-
the home? What do we feed in the home?
-
What do we protect? And so it's the same time you
-
pull, but it's like a garden. If you want like a perfect
-
garden, you don't just water all the time.
-
Yeah, pretty. You also have to uproot the
-
weeds. There has to go pumps in our
-
daily life. So in the daily life,
-
yesterday's washing up dishes, cooking food, playing the pools,
-
working at it. But at the same time, there has
-
to be also keeping the bond of peace.
-
Love, honey, how are you communicate, love each other.
-
It's not just all work and not play and just busy, busy, busy
-
and we neglect each other, which is more important than a job.
-
Let me just be honest and clear here.
-
Your marriage is more important than any job when in ministry.
-
Let's just your marriage. You got to fight for your
-
marriage. It's more important than being
-
successful at work. Have a great job, have a great
-
job. What about the marriage?
-
That's insane. That's number one, his family.
-
So we have to do what matters to God.
-
That's real success, not What Car we drive God that does not
-
impress God. And I'm not against driving
-
fancy cars and ice houses. But then also what impresses God
-
is how do you treat your wife? How do you speak to your, how do
-
we speak to one another as brothers and sisters?
-
Because listen, let's just be honest, we are the family of
-
God. So how do we balance that?
-
And I want you to see this because.
-
It brings us to the close to verse 20, very powerful promise.
-
When Nehemiah verse 20, he says that wherever you hear the sign
-
of the trumpet rally, there here is our verse for today.
-
Our God will fight for us. And so the people were spread
-
out working around all different responsibilities, different
-
tasks, and they're all there. But even though we're at
-
different places, they still stay close enough to the
-
trumpets that they could hear the trumpet.
-
OK? So stay close to the voice of
-
God, stay close to the word of God.
-
So they stay close enough to hear the trumpet call, Okay.
-
And it's like Wi-Fi enough. So if you walk too far from your
-
house and the Wi-Fi signal gets weaker and weaker and weaker,
-
and then afterward, if you walk too far from the house, the
-
signal drops, the signal gets weaker and weaker.
-
And so here they are. And it's like everyday life.
-
We, we, we busy lives, we go to work, we do our thing, we are
-
different places. And that's fine.
-
We have some busy special softball and all that.
-
But the message is simple. Stay close to the trumpet, stay
-
close to the voice of God, stay close to the worship, stay close
-
to the work, stay close to the presence of God so that when the
-
pressure rises, you know, we're together.
-
Stay close to and connected because that's why connection
-
matters, that we stay connected. Because once people get cut off
-
from the voice of God, then they start fighting battles that
-
they're not supposed to fight. Yeah, that's right.
-
Start fighting battles on their own, alone.
-
And that's never what God wants. The Bible says that that path
-
for your family, God will fight for you.
-
And so we need to understand the titles that are yes, Lord, God
-
is fighting with us when it comes to the family marriage.
-
God sang, I'm in this with you, my son, I'm in this.
-
I'm going to fight this with you.
-
But you see, when there's isolation, people get cut off.
-
They get caught up in fighting other battles.
-
It's like destruction with the precious.
-
And so stay close to the world. Stay close to under the covering
-
where heaven strengthens you and reminds you that as you fight
-
for your family, you're not fighting alone.
-
You're not on your own, whatever that Masonry, whatever atheist,
-
whatever difficulty in the family, whatever that argument,
-
listen, you're not fighting that thing on your own.
-
And I've seen it over the years in my family members, even some
-
of my family members, like an odd.
-
I was amazed what God can do when God fights for you.
-
Even in Pretoria I've seen when I walk into people's hearts and
-
stuff and just out of nowhere, out of the blue, I just started
-
talking to them about the Lord. And these are uncles and nephews
-
far, but they connected to me and I would just share with them
-
and I would see the hand of God. What only the only ghost can do
-
is touch that person's heart and life.
-
And so you don't fight it on your Amen.
-
And so the battle belongs to the Lord.
-
Yeah, opposed the war. But, you know, if the battle
-
belongs to the Lord, then that doesn't mean we do nothing.
-
Let's actually explain that first to you, because we all
-
have a role to play. We have a role to play.
-
God has a role to play. We all need this.
-
OK, let me give you an example. OK, So it's not about just
-
sitting. Nothing.
-
The battle belongs to God. OK, Tug of war.
-
Now, if you need the tug of war, OK, they're pulling on the road.
-
And let's say this child is pulling on this side.
-
Now, if that child is pulling in his own strength, he's going to
-
lose the tug of war. But yeah, but the moment the
-
parent comes and the father stands behind the child and
-
pulls the rope, OK, all of a sudden the tug of war, the
-
situation changes. That pressure, that difficult,
-
let's say, is not strong enough anymore because the parents
-
lifted and the real strength is not in the child, but the parent
-
behind the child. And then I said, I want you to
-
grab hold of this, that when God says, listen, we, you fight for
-
your fight and I will fight your battle.
-
The battle belongs to God. It's like when I showed my son,
-
my youngest one with a bicycle and we got the stabilizers off
-
and I said, and then he's somehow like, oh, he's just
-
going to sit down the pants. I'm like, no, you're going to
-
peddle. So I see I'm like, listen, now
-
if you ride your bicycle, even though the state because the
-
stabilizers, you don't have to pedal.
-
You can sort of just sit like that, but now it's off.
-
I'm like, if you're not going to penny, you're going to follow.
-
But here's the thing. When God says the pencil belongs
-
to me, God says the pedal is low.
-
My hand was old is still on the hands is on the seat.
-
So while he's meddling, I'm holding my hand dead.
-
So that is what God, the picture that God is showing us that you
-
when you fight for your hub and your family, you're not fighting
-
a lot. You are not on your own.
-
God comes and he fights with us. I mean somebody are you getting
-
this? Yes, God says I will fight with
-
you. And so I want to close with
-
another story. Is that OK?
-
Somebody, can I give you one more?
-
We have a supporter. OK, let me show you one more.
-
Yes, Someone also fights it for family now, because you see this
-
picture, remember? Yes, David.
-
And so he's in this place. It's a traditional place because
-
you know, Zig like me, it's like transition.
-
You know, he had the promise of God, but it was not fulfilled on
-
his life yet. He was annoying, but he's been
-
on the front yet. And so many families.
-
That's where we are. You've heard a word from God.
-
You know what God's spoken over your life.
-
You know what God has spoken over your marriage, your family.
-
You are, you know, but you've not seen the fulfillment.
-
You've not seen the breakthrough yet.
-
You know what? God has spoken over that son,
-
over that door, over there, but they are still not there yet,
-
still in the process. Maybe it's a healing situation
-
where the healing is not manifested.
-
So that's a place of transition many families are in now.
-
Know what God has said to you, but you've not seen it yet.
-
That's the cloud. It's a place of transition, OK.
-
And so here is David. And I just want to say that
-
Ziglag, because we have to just like Ray had started some way,
-
but that was not the end of the story.
-
We've seen the end of the story. The same with David.
-
He's in this transition place. OK?
-
Ziglag is not the end of the story.
-
It's not your final address. So maybe there's some
-
difficulties and many situations in the family, in the home, in
-
the marriage. That's not the end.
-
It's a transition now, David. He's had the most worst day of
-
his life because he comes home and what's happened?
-
His home is on fire. He saw the smog from the
-
distance. Everything is burned down.
-
And what's happened? His family is gone.
-
My God, that's rough. That's rough.
-
Listen, you touch my car, my house, my job.
-
You touch my finance. Don't touch my finance.
-
Don't touch my wife. And that's how we have to be
-
men, enemy. You will not have my family.
-
And here's David and they've taken his family.
-
You don't take my family. You don't touch my wife.
-
You don't touch my children. I don't care who you are.
-
Take my house, take the car, take the finances.
-
Don't take my family. And here's David.
-
And they end up and the father says they were weeping so much
-
that they did not have even strength enough to weep anymore.
-
And a lot of, you know, there's some people sitting in this
-
place. You know exactly how that feels
-
because you have been praying for your family.
-
You have been standing, believing for your family.
-
Yeah, keep on. Keep on.
-
And then all of a sudden something has hit your family.
-
Something is hit your children, your home, your family, the
-
finance is out. Something is just out of
-
nowhere. You just didn't see this coming
-
and it's hit your family. Do you know what this feels
-
like? And David cried and he went and
-
he kept up with, but now I want you to see this amazing verse.
-
And this verse, this is really, I really believe was something
-
very powerful here today because David did not accept the loss.
-
He's a fighter. He's a fighter.
-
We've got some heroes in this place.
-
We've got some people in this place that will fight for
-
families. If we only only families still
-
standing, we will fight for it. We've got some fighters because
-
David did not stay down in the US.
-
He did not accept defeat, not defeat.
-
He's like, I'm going to fight for my family.
-
And he got up and the part he found strength in the law.
-
That's what I pray for everybody in this place and here it will
-
be a supernatural straight for pardon for your home, for your
-
family, for you straight for your parents, for your kids.
-
Verse 6, but David strengthened himself.
-
Hang the Lord, this God, and there are times that is what
-
fighting for your family looks like.
-
You strengthen yourself and you rise up and strengthen.
-
Fight in the law and you say it all.
-
I'm going to fight for my family.
-
That's what fighting for your family looks like, strength in
-
the law. I'm not going to accept this.
-
And you're going to rise up. You're going to stand up even
-
though it feels like you want to collapse.
-
You are going to just wipe your tears.
-
You're going to sit here and say, enemy, you will not have my
-
treasure. You will not have my home, my
-
kids, my family. You will not have it.
-
That little strength. Yeah.
-
And that's what I love about David.
-
You went straight to the mark. Stay close to the trumpet, the
-
voice of God, the word of God, because here's the key.
-
He went to God and he got a woman.
-
Yeah, he got a Because this is the thing when it comes to
-
fighting, I don't want to fight battles I'm not supposed to
-
fight because I don't want to fight about.
-
I want to know heaven's here with me.
-
I want to know that heaven is backing this fight.
-
Before I'm going to go into this fight with Goliath, before I'm
-
going to go into this fight, I want to know that I've got the
-
the backing of heaven in this fight.
-
And so David goes and he God want word for God.
-
God says pursue. Go for it, my son, go get it.
-
Don't expect the faith. Don't be defeated.
-
Don't accept the loss. Don't let the enemy keep what
-
beloks to you. You go and take it.
-
You go get it, my son, you go get it.
-
You go after your family, go after your marriage, go get your
-
children, go get those kids, those loved ones go after they
-
go get it. Go get your short, go get your
-
peace back. Go get your fire back after
-
those children again. And so when God says pursue it
-
means heaven is backing my God says go.
-
God says fight this fam. God says that battle, we're
-
backing you. We're backing you.
-
The battle belongs to God. And so I went David, he was, I
-
just love this because he's got this worth and God gave him this
-
price and says you will recover all.
-
And that's what I believe is a word for everybody here today,
-
that you will recover all what has been stolen from your
-
family. God will recover.
-
God will recover at all. God recover everything that
-
enemies everything. Send the loves to you.
-
Everything that's connected to you will be restored back.
-
You will recover without fail. You will recover everything.
-
Yes, yes, yes. You will get it back.
-
You will get it. Yes.
-
Firearm. Jesus Christ.
-
You will recover it all. You will recover it all.
-
You'll recover it all. You'll recover it all without
-
fail. You go get it.
-
God will restore what belongs to you.
-
Peace is coming back. Joy is coming back.
-
Yes, he's coming back. Your marriage is coming back.
-
I feel it very, very strongly. This prodigal.
-
Scott showed me this coming back.
-
This prodigal kids, they don't even know they're coming back.
-
The protocols is coming back, they're coming out.
-
There's children, there's kids, there's sun journeys, there's
-
processes. They're coming back.
-
There's family members, they're coming back.
-
I'm feeling very sorry coming back.
-
So what of the Lord Church? Because what God is behind you,
-
Heaven is behind you. It's stronger than the pressure,
-
it's stronger than the difficulty.
-
The praises of God is with you. God fights for you.
-
The battle belongs to the Lord. The same God that says fight for
-
your family. He promised that I will fight
-
for you. And so today if you are in this
-
place and you say pastor, I am making a commitment today I will
-
fight for my family. I want you to stand to your feet
-
right now. If you say I will fight for my
-
family, I will fight. I commit to fight for your
-
family. Stand over this place right now
-
because some of you, you know the opponent of what it feels
-
like to fight for your family, to pray for your family, to
-
stand for your family, to fight for peace in the home.
-
Some of you know what it feels like to be in a family situation
-
and Bold and Patzel at the same time.
-
And you are saying it today. God, I need you to step into my
-
family. God, I need you to fight for my
-
family, Lord, Yeah, I am committed today to fight for my
-
family and your words. They said you will fight for me.
-
And God, I need you now this morning.
-
So put your hand on your heart right now if you're in this
-
place and you say, yes, I need God's Christ and I need that
-
strength, that David, that strength of the Lord.
-
I want you to just say to the Lord, give me that strength,
-
that grace, that's strength to fight and stand for my family.
-
Yes, Lord. So right now, raise your hands
-
all across this route. I want to pray for every family
-
represented here right now. Father, I thank you for every
-
person and every family. Thank you, Lord, that you fight
-
for your people. Thank you, Lord, that you
-
rebuild every brokenness, every harm, every marriage.
-
And father, I thank you for strength, anointing be released
-
upon every person here to be the faith you know, to be the one
-
that brings the family into the house, pointing them to Jesus,
-
get them ready for heaven. Yes, rule.
-
Let the presence of the Holy Spirit move upon houses, homes,
-
families, marriages, kids, everyone in this place.
-
And right now we tell the enemy, you cannot have our families,
-
You cannot have our kids, you cannot have our marriage.
-
We command the devil to take his hands off and we take back our
-
families. We take back our kids, our
-
children. Yes, right now, every enemy
-
plan, the plans of the enemy has been cancelled.
-
Every assignment of the enemy has been cancelled of every
-
home, every family, every child. The particles are coming back.
-
All those families are coming back where they belong, into the
-
House of God. Lord, I thank you that you break
-
strife in the home, break fear, break confusion, break it right
-
now. Every chain of the enemy right
-
now, break it. Homes will be healed.
-
Lord, as we fight for our families, we thank you that you
-
will fight for us. Come on, somebody shout
-
Hallelujah. Now before we close, let me just
-
give one more invitation. Your view in this place and you
-
have never given your life to Jesus.
-
The greatest miracle is to receive Jesus into your heart
-
and into your life. If you're in this place and you
-
want to become a child of God, you want to become part of God's
-
family, I want you to raise your hands.
-
Today's your last day and Jesus comes back again.
-
If this is your moment right now, say yes.
-
Include me, pastor, include me. Include me.
-
Include me for heaven. Right now.
-
Is there anybody flip up your hand?
-
Very everybody saved, born again, you know that you know
-
that you are saved. Don't walk out here and still
-
full of doubt. Now that you can be saved today,
-
your sins can be wiped away forever.
-
Only Jesus can do that. Only the blood of Jesus can wipe
-
away sins, wash you, cleanse you, give you a brand new start.
-
So if that is you right now, just put your hand on your
-
heart. And I just want us to pray just
-
right now. I want us to pray.
-
Everybody pray out loud right now say, Lord Jesus, I give you
-
my heart, I give you my life. Lord, I make you the Lord of my
-
life. Forgive my sin, wash me in your
-
blood, make me a child of God. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. Come on, let's stand up by
-
Jesus. Glory did to God.
-
Now I want to search to say this out loud.
-
I really believe that this is a bold statement.
-
I want you to pray and say this and declare this with faith in
-
your heart. Say my house belong to God.
-
The battle belongs to the Lord. I will strengthen myself in the
-
Lord. I will not quit you.
-
My family is worth fighting for. I do not fight the Lord as I
-
fight for my family, the car of heavens fight for me.
-
Somebody give God the biggest son of life.
-
No. Is it?
