Are you ready for the Word today?

Because today I want to continue on the way we left off last

Sunday. I want to flow in that same

resurrection theme because God is still speaking.

Yeah. I mean, I'm like, there is still

more. Are you ready for more?

Are you ready to go deeper? Because I was in the beginning.

I'm like, right, Lord, let me prepare.

Ready to go and do something else.

The Holy Spirit just reminded me and showed me more and more

things and said stainless flow myself.

This is what I'm saying in this hour.

This is what I'm doing right now.

This is resurrection flow. So this resurrection theme, it

might become like a serious, OK, so today's Part 2.

So we got to fly in this. I mean, did you love that

worship? I mean, my goodness, it's just

wonderful how God is just saying the same thing and it's all

through Scripture, this resurrection power, this theme,

how it's living and flowing in in our daily lives.

I mean, so we're going to go into this and we're going to go

for it because I believe this word is going to build 5 is

going to bring strength. I literally believe that that

God is saying that it's time to rise up and, and it's, it's all

over resurrection, rise up, rise, rise and shine.

You know, it's, it's there and God's pointing it out as God is

saying it's time to get up. OK, so I want to preach this

morning and share. With you about the.

Power of getting up. I mean, OK, now listen, maybe

you feel a little bit low or down or maybe something's

happened this week. Some things, some setbacks,

disappointments happen. OK, but listen when we are in

God. With God, with God, when we

belong to God, down is never your final destination.

Down is never our final permanent destination.

OK. And so that so.

With God, we the only way for us is up.

Yeah, yeah, it's up. It's up.

That's right. Yeah.

And so the the message is is called today and I'll just put

up the screen is a get up. Hallelujah.

Get up and this is going to be amazing.

Oh, I thank God I got blessed with a beautiful new Bible.

verses in the Bible. Yeah, I know.

I'd also like it on the screen, all that.

But, you know, I might sneak in a couple.

Yeah. For this, a new, brand new,

brand new Bible. It just smells amazing.

I know that. So you have to be hungry for the

word, but yeah, I'm smelling the word.

Yeah. When?

When God smells his word or something's about to happen when

God smells his word. So yeah, we are smiling these

words this morning. So I might read.

So I'll read up a little bit then and see where we go from.

Yeah, but I really have a word what God has given us.

And so let's start with John 5 and then we see where we go from

them. So John chapter 5.

Well, let me read the first one off on the screen then and then

we'll go from there. John chapter 5 and verse 5 and

John 5 · chapter mention

it says 1 was there had been an invalid for 38 years.

When Jesus saw him lying there, he learned that he had been in

this condition for a long time. He asked him do you want to get

well Sir? Then valid replied, I have no

one to help me into the pool when the water stood while I'm

trying to get in someone else goes down ahead of me.

Now watch this very next verse. This is our main text proof text

for the day says here verse I then Jesus said to him get up

everybody say get up, get up. Oh Hallelujah.

Come on. Come on.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Knocked out, but not knocked

out. He's getting back up right?

Oh. Somebody's been watching some

boxing. Yeah.

Mike Tyson come on in. What round that Mike Tyson, He

was knocked down, but he got back up, right?

Come back. Somebody said come back,

Hallelujah. So get back up and he says pick

up your man and walk at once. The man was good and he picked

up his man and he walks. So listen, my Father, we thank

you for your word, that your word is powerful.

It's alive, it's full of strength.

Lord, speak to us every heart here in this place.

Holy Spirit, move powerfully. We thank you.

Let faith arise in every heart and we give you all the praise.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray somebody say Amen and say

yeah this week. And I play some football with

the kids there. Jocks lying.

And I didn't see the ball coming.

And So what happened? Obviously the ball came and I

stepped on the ball and boy did I had a big.

I don't know how I fell backwards, but somehow the ball

was under my feet. And I think Simon will know what

I'm talking about. OK, he's still awake.

But I was sort of sitting there and, and the football came right

under my and I swirled around and all of us, I fell backwards.

I landed on my bottom. And then I am and I see Peter,

my son and the boys and there's a football and I'm like, OK, And

So what happened with the football?

I just got back up. And one of the first things we

learn in life is when we fall, we get back up again.

We sit with children all the time.

When the kids Start learning to walk with our children, when

there's now on the scooters or where there's now on their bikes

or football, whether they fall, they stumble.

I mean, they hit the ground the other day at the skate park.

Come on. I mean, these kids, they were on

the scooters and they fell back, right?

Just Grazes put some prosters on and they just, OK.

But listen, we don't go and say OK.

It's over. It's it's the end.

Stay down. No, that's not what we do as

Perry. We go a good parent.

We say, listen, come on, come back, OK, you know, try again.

Yes, yes, the Pike. Yes, it's good to use the

football. Let's try again.

Isn't that what we do as good parents?

We encourage people, you know, our kids and our family to get

up. And that is how God made us.

He made us put something in us that knows how to get back up.

OK? We had to get back up in life.

And that is such a vital word for us today because, listen,

life has got a way of knocking people.

Down. Things happen in life that we

don't always understand. Bad reports, a disappointment, a

loss, something unexpected that happened.

And we don't always understand the loss.

And it just seems something that is so unfair.

Why did this happen? And it's like the the whole it's

like life has knocked it down. And listen, I cannot promise you

that life will never knock you down.

But what I can promise you, based on the authority of the

word of God, you can get back up again.

Oh, come on, somebody. I feel the part of God in this

place. Yeah, you can get back up again.

That's right. Praise God.

And we see in this passage of Scripture here in John chapter

John 5 · chapter mention

5, this man, he has been paralysed for a very long time.

The Bible says he has been on that condition for 38 years now.

That's a very long time to look at the same mat, the same pain,

the same struggle, the same cycle, the same question and ask

the same question. Will anything ever going to

change? Is something going to shifting

change in my life? But you know what I love about

Jesus? He knows how to step into stuck

places. That has been certain places

that has been stuck for a very long time.

And Jesus did not pass the man bye.

He went right straight to him. Oh, and I love these powerful

words. Jesus walk up to him and say,

get up. Oh, I feel the anointing of God,

get up. Oh, I feel the power of God.

That is anointed. That is the word of God.

That is the voice of faith. That is one word from the

presence of God, the word of Jesus.

And Jesus released that word. Get up.

There's enough power to that word to raise that man of that

man get up. Oh yes, Jesus, with an anointed

word. I sense that.

I sense get up power in this room right now.

I sense get up anointing in this room, right for your situation,

for your family. I sense that get up power.

Something is already shifting in this room right now.

Faith is arising. Something is shifting in this

place. Is get up power in this room.

I believe this for somebody. This is your get up day.

This is your get up. Come on, whatever the situation,

whatever the problem, this is your rise up moment.

This is your get up moment from what I've tried to hold you back

for years. Oh yeah, if it's now 38 years or

1020 years, whatever is trying to hold you back, this is your

get up moment. Because we come with the

authority of the Word of God and the Word of God is going to

final authority. And when Jesus said get up, that

means that you can rise again. Oh, my God, somebody's getting

this word today. That's what Jesus, how powerful

it was. Somebody say get up.

Yeah, something is shifting in this room right now.

Ain't no grave is going to hold my body down.

No, no, no, no. I'm telling you later we are

going to rejoice. Come on.

This is my get up day. Say that.

This is my get up day. Say that again.

This is, you might get up there, give God some praise if you

believe it. Somebody, yeah, Jesus did not

come to just help the person manage the problem.

He didn't come to manage his problem on the mat, just to

manage it. Jesus came to bring him out of

the problem, out of the situation, out of the struggle.

And I came to announce today with the word of the living God,

a word from the Lord, that when the word of the Lord is

released, he can break the cycle.

He can break it, can break any cycle or bondage, whatever has

helped you for years. And he can bring about something

brand new in a moment with a word from the Lord, with a word

from Jesus, with a get up. Word from Jesus can break any

chain, break any bondage. And so when Jesus said those

words, just those words, those powerful anointed words of life,

when Jesus says get up, he's telling you that you can rise,

that addiction can be broken, that chain can be broken, that

cycle can be broken, that struggle can stop, that sickness

can be healed. And that peace can come back.

That joy can return to your life and that dream can come alive

again just from those anointed words of the Lord.

That is why Micah said when I fall I will rise.

Somebody got that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

yeah. When I fall I will rise.

Yeah. The Bible says the righteous

falls how many times? 7 times and rise again.

Let me show you this verse in Micah 7.

This is very powerful. He says do not rejoice over me,

my enemy. When I fall I will arise.

Notice Micah did not say if I fall, kids are going to ride the

boy play football. Not if we win.

We know there's going to be some fall OK not if I fall.

He said when I fall, not if I fall.

The righteous fall 7th time not if.

OK, well, nobody's immune from fall.

Not if I it's when I fall. So in other words, yes, I got

hits. Yeah, I got hits I got yes.

I know exactly what a heart sees it feels like.

I know what it feels, what pressure feels like.

I know what it feels, what pressure and difficulty feels

like. And harsher.

He knows what it the pain it feels like.

But that's not how my story ends.

That's not the final story. I will arise.

Yes, I might be down. Yes, I had a fall.

Yes, I'm the figure. But I will not end it.

That's not the end of the story. I will arise.

Come on. Somebody who's with me.

Who's with me in this place. Come on, that's what we're going

to do because that is the word of the world today that God sent

me in today to announce and to decree and declare and prophecy

over this house. You will rise out of that

heaviness. You will rise out of that

difficult. You will rise out of depression.

You will arise. You will arise out of that

family difficulty. You will arise out of that

attack. You will arise out of that

attack. You will arise out of delay and

stagnation and joy will come back again.

Peace will come back again your eyes out of that old season.

Because the same God who said get up then he's the same God

speaking today. He's the same yesterday, today

and forever. He's still saying get up today.

The same God who said get up then.

He's the same God who's saying get up now.

He's the same God. He's still speaking.

He's still saying the same things over and over.

And how many of you know that when he speaks, things shift.

When he speaks dead things come alive.

When he speaks, change, break. When he speaks, lives changed

forever. When he speaks, people rise.

When he speaks, oh Hallelujah. I believe this is a word of the

Lord for somebody here today. Hallelujah, Micah says.

When I fall, even when I fall. So as a believer, it doesn't

mean we never feel pain. As a believers, we never.

It doesn't mean we never feel the heat, all the difficulty,

but it means we don't stay there.

That's five. OK, five, it doesn't mean you

don't feel pain. But five says we don't live

there, we don't stay there. We don't make that our permanent

location. OK, we don't stay there.

Now, let me just give you a picture of what that looks like.

Think of a palm tree. Now, if you've seen these

documentaries on TVA palm tree, when that storm or that

hurricane come, that palm tree bends over.

I mean, it bends like completely over like this.

It looks like that palm tree is completely overdone finished.

Because when you look at that palm tree when it paints like

this, you would think it will never be able to stand back up

again. You would think you'd never be

able to, but listen, when that storm passes over that bended

palm tree, it bounce back. It sort of flips right back,

stands right back up again tall. That's a bounce back power that

is in you. And listen, the storm did not

make the palm tree weaker. It might be stronger.

Can you say I made somebody? Come on?

That's the way that God made you.

You may be knocked down, but you're not knocked out.

Come on. There's some fighting you.

There's some comeback power in you.

They thought they knocked him down, but listen, they did not

knock him out. There's come by power, pounds by

power. Yeah, you're not knocked out.

Listen, you may get hit, but you are not staying down.

You are bouncing back. You are getting back up.

You may feel the pressure, but that pressure does not have the

final word. OK, Romans 8 says verse 11.

The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives on the

inside of you. That means that same power that

got Jesus out of the grave. That power is living in you.

You are full of resurrection power inside of you.

And listen, that means God has put something on the inside of

you that the devil can never destroy.

My God, you see, that's the thing.

The table did not see that coming.

He did not see that resurrection power coming.

And the enemy may look at your life right now and think, well,

you know, the joy, it's over. The piece is over.

That's the end of your story. That's the end.

The set back, the failure, that's the end.

You know, looking at your family, your situation and the

hardship, he thought that that fall or that mistake, that was

the finish. And the enemy may look at your

life and think that he has won. Listen, he has misread the

chapter. Big mistake.

He must read the chapter because, listen, what happened

here is and we see that office go how the enemy.

Big mistake. Celebrate it too soon.

Yeah, he popped the confetti way too soon.

Not a big mistake. Now I want to say you something.

Yeah. Listen, Michael says this.

Listen, don't celebrate, OK? He's like, listen, don't

celebrate enemy. And he says talking to his

enemy. And Michael say listen, don't,

don't enemy, don't rejoice over me, OK?

Listen, enemy, don't get excited.

People don't get excited too quickly.

Yeah, OK, don't get excited and don't celebrate you too quickly.

And think and look at my life in my present condition and think

that is because that is not my final condition.

I might be going through a difficult, challenging

situation, but that is not the final destination.

That is not my final down, is not my final location.

Can you say I mean somebody So enemy don't get too excited

about what you see in my life right now.

You better not celebrate too soon.

You know what I mean? And this is what he's saying

because down is not my final because the word of the Lord is

the enemy celebrated over your life too soon.

He looked at your life and he saw your mind under pressure and

he thought he's 1. He looked at your family and he

saw some challenges in the family under attack and he

thought that it's over the enemy.

He looked at the attack, he looked at the hot season and the

difficulty that you've been. He looked at that and he thought

you are going to stay stuck there.

But the enemy made a mistake. He celebrated.

You said come on somebody because he there was something

that the table did not count on when he looked at your life and

that's something that he did not count on that he didn't look is

called resurrection. Power inside of you come by

power inside of you. It's a kid of power inside of

you, a rise up moment of power. There is faith in you.

There is strength in you to rise again.

Hallelujah. And So what?

Knocked you down and will not keep you down.

Regardless of what it is that has knocked you down, it will

not keep you down. Come on.

We looked at this. They put Jesus in the tomb on

Friday. It looked like a big

disappointment. The enemy looked.

Yeah, we got him. The enemy thought the devil and

darkness said we have got the final word.

Jesus is gone and dead. We've got him.

We won. Darkness celebrated 2 spin.

They the confetti too soon. They celebrate their public

champagne too soon. Big problem.

Big mistake. Devil because he did not see

Sunday coming. Everything looked dark on

Friday, but Sunday is coming. Sunday tells a different story

altogether. Sunday is a resurrection and

Jesus, what's going on? Jesus came back.

What a comeback. He got back up again.

That's our message today. The part he got back up again,

he got up. Oh that comeback, that rise up

power, that resurrection power, that same that got him out of

the grave vision you, there's comeback power in you.

There's resurrection power in you.

These Hallelujah, somebody Are you ready for this resurrection?

Somebody showed resurrection glory be to God.

So when life says stay down, there is something inside of

your spirit that rises up in you that says I'm getting back up,

come on. And life has knocked you down,

something unexpected. There's something on the inside

of you that rises up and said, oh, if God took it back up

again, say that in our lives. That's the Christian life.

It's a bounce back resurrection life that is in US of bouncing

back, of rising up again. Somebody say I'm getting back

up, say it again, I'm getting back up.

Say I've got to get up. Say I'm not staying down.

I will arise and see the goodness of the Lord.

Now give God some praise in this place.

Hallelujah, glory to God. Wow, We see the same truth in

Acts chapter 14. Right in the beginning of the

Acts 14 · chapter mention

chapter, Paul the Apostle, he looked at the man who has never

walked and he said stand up and walk.

Can you imagine that? Here's your apostle Paul walking

and he said that man, he's never walked.

And he said it's right up. Stand up straight to your finger

and walk. Oh, I love it.

And the moment Paul the apostle, I see Jesus at the pool, I see

Paul the apostle. He says the moment he says get

up, the Pablo says the man jumped, that paralyzed man

jumped on his feet and walk. What a mirror somebody

Hallelujah for that miracle. I want to show it to you in the

world. He jumped up.

Let me show it to you. Acts 14 verse 9.

Acts 14:9

He says sit with a loud voice, stand up straight, sit up, get

up on your feet and he leap and walk.

One moment a man was stuck, the next moment he's moving from an

anointed word of God, from the word of the Lord, an anointed

word, one word. Shift that entire thing from

being stuck to moving. That's the part of the word of

God today Church. That's what called it with the

word of God. He gave the word of the Lord to

this man and he said to him, get up.

That's what we are here. We are using the word of the

Lord today. God's put his word in and we are

speaking and we saying get up. We get up every situation,

whatever situation it is. But now watch this the very same

chapter, they say reverse. Now they say turn around.

Now I want you to get get hold of this because this is very

powerful. The very same chapter versus

later, Paul's down. The very same chapter, Paul is

down. I want you to get this word

today, Paul. All his heads, Paul hit the

ground. Listen, Church, I want you to

get this because it's very powerful.

Now here he is, the same guy Saint Paul who said to somebody

else, get up now he's down. OK, That's how life can be

sometimes. In the same season, you can have

a miracle and a battle. In the same season you can have

a breakthrough and you can have a set back.

At the same season, the same guy Paul says to somebody else, get

up. That person go now pulls down.

Read this in the world Ball hit the ground.

Stunt. He's stunt, he's in the ground.

They dragged him outside of the city.

Left for dead. Alls down.

Great man of gods down. 1 moment he's helping somebody else to

get up. The very next moment he's down.

That's life. It happens that way sometimes

that in the same season you have a victory, but then you get hit

by something you did not see coming.

Unexpected knock down now one hard day.

Listen, church does not cancel God's plan for your life.

One hard moment, one hard difficulty.

Writes again because what I love about Paul and this has

encouraged me so much that the Bible says Paul got up

Hallelujah. Oh, I feel the presence of God.

I feel that getting a power in this place Today Paul caught up

and he went tacky to the city. Somebody say resurrection power.

My God, I got to show you this. Wow.

This is such a powerful verse. It says Acts 14, verse 19.

Acts 14:19

They stoned Paul. They dragged him outside the

city thinking he was dead. But after the disciples had

gathered around, he got somebody say he got up and he went back.

He got up. Somebody said, I've got to get

up. Yeah.

I love that. Paul did not stay down.

Come on. They stoned him, therefore dead.

He did not stay down. He did not stay in the dead.

But the Bible says that he got up and he did not let one hard

difficult moment where they started.

He did not let that define him, that tell him and say who he and

decide who he was. OK, and I want you to hear this

word today because what mocked you down does not get to define

you. That mistake, that Finder, does

not get to define who you are, what has knocked you down to the

disappointment, the delay. It doesn't.

One bad chapter is not the whole story.

It's one bad moment by Chapter 1 failure difficulty.

One fall does not cancel your calling.

The Bible says the righteous fools, but we get up every time.

And Paul is not the only one that shows us this.

Peter shows it to us as well. Peter failed miserably.

We saw that last week, how Peter failed.

He denied Jesus and he wept bitterly and he failed.

But what I love about heaven said and Peter and Peter, Grace

still called his name. Mercy still had got a plan for

him even with the fire. God did not write him off.

Listen, pizza made a comeback. What a comeback after that

failure and that Mace and all that.

Pizza caught up on the day of pizza cost.

He was the one that preached. And how many people got saved?

How many souls 3000? I love these souls coming in

3000 souls. Peter, the failure did not

cancel his future. The mistake the maze did not

cancel his destiny. OK, he was.

God did not write him off because of a failure.

So one hot season is not going to cancel your future.

And sometimes all it takes is just one word from God.

Gaza, listen, I'm not done with you.

You're still mine. Just get up and try again.

Yeah, we just try again. I love our God.

God of another chance. Hallelujah.

Try again. You know, that's what happened

with Thomas Edison. You know, he kept on trying and

trying. Trying.

He failed and failed trying to invent a light bulb.

And it is. And he just tried to invent a

light bulb and then kept on failing.

But he just kept on going, just kept on trying, keep up.

And you know, when people tried to label him and limit him, his

mother spoke fight over him. I love that because his mother

saw greatness. Other people wrote him off.

You're not going to do this. You're not going to be able to

invent a light bulb, but you're not.

His mother spoke greatness of it.

That's the power of 1. Voice of faith over you.

Speak out faith over your life. You know, I love the story of

KFC. You know, like chicken finger

licking Good. Come on, KFC.

I'm pretty myself. Hungry.

How are we going to have some KFC?

OK. Finger licking Good.

OK. Colonel Saunders.

It reminds us that it's never too late.

You know Colonel Saunders that started KFC.

He was 65. He started KFC, you know, when

he start, he was 65, he was bastard broken.

He had nothing. He was like, so it's like in the

natural, it looks like it's way too late.

You've got nothing and all that. And but he's getting something

small and it wasn't a big company.

It wasn't a big opportunity. All that he had was a chicken

recipe and he's got this chicken recipe.

And that's how God works sometimes.

He, he, he works with the small things, the things that people

overlook, the simple things. And he's got this chicken

recipe. And here goes Colonel Saunders.

And he goes from and he knocks on doors and knocking on doors

and he goes from restaurant to restaurant, he says.

Please can you give me a chance? And he just keeps on going,

knocking from restaurant and they just keep on hearing no,

no, no. And they just keep on turning

down and down and out over and over again.

But I I love the fact that he just kept on knocking.

He just kept on moving forward and like not they say that he

was more than thousands. So Can you imagine 1000 no's So

you knock on this door. Got a chicken recipe taste

delicious. No, no 1000 opportunities to

quit it sometimes sounds like you know when we out and about

evangelizing energy you hand out flies and people.

No, no, you know, and they're like at the Peel Center, you're

like, but what I love about Colonel Saunders, and this is a

powerful story about KFC is that he did, he just kept on

knocking, waited for the one door and finally one door open

up. That one door, that one open

door became such an opportunity. It opened a whole new season for

him. And sometimes we can be doing

evangelism and you can have 1000 times.

No, no, no, no, no. And you can have that one

person, oh, that one person that says, yes, I want Jesus, one

more soul for the Kingdom of God.

I love that one more. This week we play Sabre.

Come on, you're believing God every day for one soul, every

day one person. Yes, there's going to be some

nose and but look at Colin Saunders.

It's never too late. And it's just that one

opportunity, that one door that opened up and everything

changed. And I just love that one door

opportunity. And you know, what I love about

this story is that he's come back.

Didn't just bless him, but he became a blessing to others.

You know how when he came to the Lord, you know, Colonel

Saunders, he helped a struggling church.

Yeah, this is not a lot of people know this, but it's

incredible that he actually, there was a church that had a

building project going on and the whole project fell through

and they're about to go completely bankrupt.

This church is about to completely close and shut and

all. Colonel Saunders walked in.

He said at the back of the church, he walked up to the

pastor, asked the pastor about the bullet.

The pastor explained everything. He said this and it's always

gone. We, we, we cannot, the whole

church going to Colonel Saunders said, how much do you need?

Colonel Saunders wrote out a check, $1 million and save that

entire church. Come on, somebody give God some

praise. Give God some praise.

And that's what I love. At 65, he had nothing.

Moments later, he's writing out a check for a billion.

That is your destiny. God is calling you from going to

nobody to somebody, from saying no to saying yes.

Let that become a yes in your life.

Let that contract become yes. Let that promotion come.

Let that door, that job, that company open up for you.

Let that balance open up into the green for you.

May you ship from the overdraft into the from the underdraft to

the overdraft from the red into the green.

May that happen to you church because a placing that not just

stop with him, he become a blessing.

And you see, when God restores you, when God lifts you up, it's

never just about you. And God blesses your life and

lifts you up. It's for you to become a

blessing for your comeback, to become somebody's miracle.

Come on, somebody, yes. So it's never too late.

You're never too far behind for a comeback.

Oh, you say, well, but too many things has gone wrong.

God is a God of restoration. He can restore and make it brand

new. Just it takes one word from God,

one phone call, one e-mail, one divine connection.

Just one like that. You are one years away from a

brand new season, 1 years away from your biggest breakthrough

in your life. You are one.

Now, let me tell you about one of the greatest comebacks in the

bottle, because maybe you say, well, you know, Pastor, my

problems, my trouble, my issue is not because of something

that's happened to me, but it's because of my own choices, my

own poor choices, because of my own compromise.

That's why Samsung's story is so powerful, because Samsung was

called. He was anointed.

He had a calling, but he misused it.

He had strength, but he misused it.

He had a calling. He had a gifting upon his life,

but he compromised because of his mistakes.

The enemy came in, found him up, blinded him and tried to

convince him that his story is finished, that it's over.

But listen, I'm here to tell some, some of you that listen,

the devil celebrated too soon. Oh, my God.

As a yeah, that's exactly what happened because the devil

misread his story. You see, the devil did not see

this coming because the Bible says something very powerful.

Sad songs. Hey began to grab back.

Say Jesus, that's what the bottles if Bible says something

very powerful, you see the devil didn't see this.

The Bible says his hair began to grow back.

Oh my God, I love that. And so while the enemy fought

that he was finished, the enemy thought he had finished.

Hands on, off. He was mocking him.

He thought he was finished. Well, the enemy thought Heaven

was rebuilding him. How was mocking him?

Heaven was restoring him. Heaven was rebuilding him.

The Bible says his hair started to grow back again.

His strength was coming back, His courage was coming back.

His purpose was coming back, His fire was coming back.

Hallelujah. And I declare over you today.

This is your word today. Your joy is coming back, your

strength is coming back, your blessing, your peace is coming

back. Your health is coming back.

Your family is coming back. Hallelujah strength is coming

back to you Somebody say it's coming back come on shot it is

coming back it's coming back come on we've had a testament

we've seen people say grow back. Where's Carol come on you know

to stop shedding and a couple of days later it stopped.

poster, one look at their hair, it's Gray.

My God, God could do a miracle for you.

Your strength is coming back. Your youth is coming back.

Some of you have been feeling so tired and exhausted.

Your strength and energy is coming back.

Oh my God, I feel the anointing in this place.

Hallelujah. You know, Simonson prayed one of

the most powerful. Praise Lord, give me strength

Give me strength one more time. What an honest prayer.

What a powerful prayer from the cry of a man's heart that says,

God, I cannot do this without you.

mocking, but show him his boss. Touch me one more time, Lord,

restore me. What some of you ought to need

to pray that, pray this week, pray that pray, pray that, pray.

And here's the good news. You know when God.

God brought him back. God can bring you back.

Yeah, God can bring you back. So don't count yourself out.

Don't let a failure write your ending.

Because grace is still moving. God's not finished with you yet.

Lord, do it again. Somebody say Lord, do it again.

Lord, do it again. And then there's Moses shows us

how God can rewrite something that we thought we have ruined.

God gave him the stone tablets sacred thing was something so

sacred give Moses entrusted Moses with such sacred holy

things, these holy, these tablets written by the very hand

of God. And Moses in his frustration,

flew down and broke it. In his anger, he let it dropped

and he crossed and damaged what God has entrusted to him.

And he damaged it through the his anger.

And that's sometimes what we do. We let our hurt damage a

relationship. We let our hurt, we let the

disappointment steal our peace. And he's mishandled, but I love

our God. Our God is a merciful God.

Our God is a forgiving. He didn't say, OK, you blew it.

You've had your chance. That was your last.

That's not what God said. I love when you read Exodus

attention all the way through to Exodus before it says they're

very clear. The Bible says Moses, go back

onto the mountain and here comes this is so beautiful.

I just love this. Go and read it.

It says. I'll write it again.

I'll write it. I'll do that again.

What grace? What mercy.

Watch forgiveness. Same calling, same purpose, same

God. Another chance.

Moses blew it. He brought the stones.

I messed up big time. God says, OK, that's the lost.

God says come back, I'll do it again.

Mercy, forgiveness, Come on. What a God.

Geez, that's what? A word.

Somebody, another chance. So maybe you have mishandled

something in your life. Maybe you have mishandled a

relationship, maybe you've mishandled finances, maybe

you've mishandled marriage. Or maybe an opportunity, maybe a

business opportunity, you've mishandled it.

But God is a God of restoration because God can restore what has

been mishandled. God can make it new.

What you dropped, it's not too far gone.

OK, so what's broken? It's not too broken.

He's still calling. He's still restoring.

He's still the God who makes things brand new.

So the same God who told Moses to go back onto the mountain.

He's the same God who's selling here.

Come back up. Come back up.

Get back up. He's the same God yesterday,

today, and forever, and he's saying the same thing to us

today. Get back up again.

Get ready for another chance. Amen.

Now, sometimes the pain is not about what we did wrong.

Sometimes the pain or the disappointment or the difficulty

comes because there's something that's happened to us.

And you see this in the book of Genesis chapter 3432.

We Gods, he's telling Jacob, he says, listen Jacob, I wanted to

go back home to your land of your father's, take your family,

go back to the your homeland, go back and I will be with you.

Jacob obeyed. Jacob took his family and

started travelling to remember Bethel.

Now Bethel, that is where God changed his name.

And so God changed his name from Jacob to Israel, right?

So Jacob means the, the, the struggler, the sea of that.

That's the name of the past, made mistakes in the past.

Israel is the new name. That's the name of the future,

the name of promise. And so there's a man marked with

promise. He's on a journey.

He's on his way to the promise and something painful happened.

He's in the will of God. He's doing the right thing on

his way to the promise and something painful happened.

And that is life. Sometimes that's what happens in

in life. Sometimes maybe so things happen

and you can be going in the very right direction because here he

is. He's going, he's moving toward

the promise. God said go to your homeland.

He's obeying, God is on his way. And what happened?

Something painful. Rachel died.

The one he loved died painful. And so that is a very hard,

difficult moment for him. And life is like that.

You can be doing the very the right thing.

You can be following God. You can be obeying God on your

way to promise, doing the very right thing.

But then something very painful happens.

Life happens. Difficulty challenges happen.

Something heartbreaking happens. A door closes, a relationship

failure, a breakdown, loss of a loved one.

I'm putting powers away. Something happened that

unexpected, never expected and it knocks you down.

And the Bible says that Jacob buried Rachel and he marked the

place and he wept bitterly. He weave grief.

That's now, that's grief, that's pain.

Now. God never rebuked him for

grieving because grieving is not weakness.

Grieving is grieving over his wife, his loved one that died.

That's human. That's that's good.

I mean, he was grieved and God never obeys, OK.

And so here he was grieving in the moment marked it.

Grieving means that you love deeply.

That's when we grieve when somebody passed away at the

grave. And so there's a time to mourn.

There's a time to weep. There's a time to grieve, but

then there is a time to heal because yet becomes dangerous

when a painful season becomes a permanent location, that's

dangerous, OK, So yes, there's time for mourning and weeping

and but when a painful season becomes a permanent location,

that's where people get stuck, OK, because they start living

there. And the Bible says very, very

powerfully, and I want you to get hold of this, it says that

he turn it on, but he specifically says Israel

journeyed on. No, Jacob journeyed on, OK,

because Israel, Jacob journeyed on.

Jacob means the pain Israel that represents the moving on.

You see what I'm getting? So that's the difference between

Jacob and Israel. I want you to stay with me

because how the 2 represents 1. So the the Jacob represents the

pain. That's the human nature, That's

the pain. But then the Israel represents

the promise. So the Jacob, that's the loss.

But Israel, that's the moving on, that's the destiny, the

future. You see the difference between

the one, OK, so the one is the lost and the one is the moving.

And that is why you cannot just stay in Jacob only.

I want you to get this, because you cannot just stay in the

grieving and in the, in that place, the human part only.

You have got to let Israel arise.

I want to say that again. You have got to let Israel rise

up in you. Come on.

There's two natures. I want you to understand this.

There's the Jacob nature and the Israel nature.

The one is pain and the one is lost.

But you cannot stay stuck in Jacob.

You have got to stay with Israel, the destiny, the

promise, OK. And so that's why you have got

to let the purpose speaks louder than the pain.

OK, So you've got to let the promise, the estrol part in you

has got to be louder than the grief, the Jacob, the pain.

You understand that what I'm saying?

So yes, feel it. It's hard, it's difficult.

Feel it. We've got emotions, Judge, feel

it. Cry, moan, but don't stay there.

Come on, somebody, it's natural on the phone.

I'm talking to a family member. It's horrible.

It's hard. I'm crying, I'm sin tears, but

this indeed you don't stay there.

The loss may be real. Yes, my nephew so and so passed

away that so but it cannot become your location and that is

faith. Faith is I may be down, but I'm

not staying down. Amen.

Now let me close with one more. Jesus told this amazing story

about the prodigal son who received the inheritance from

the father. And he wasted it, OK with poor

choices, wrong decisions, OK, wrong direction.

And he wasted what has been trusted to.

He lost it. What his dad gave him that he

was really supposed to protect. And there he is.

He's empty, he's broken, he's ashamed.

He's there in the big pen, He's lost everything.

He's inheritance. It's all gone.

And there he sets, ashamed and empty.

But here comes the turning point because he's he's really down.

He's low. I mean, he's at a low point and

he's just living really below and beneath what he really,

really was. But now when this turning point

is powerful and I saw this as amazing.

So look 50. It's amazing the turning point.

And the turning point came when he said I will get up.

I read it in this version. I think this is beautiful.

Verse Luke 15. Verse 17.

Then he came to so I said, how many of my cells of my father

have enough food despair, but I am I'm perishing dying year of

hunger. Verse 18 I will get up.

No, this is your world choice in grand, your own nation.

I will. I've got to get up.

No matter what situation, no matter what difficulty, what

trouble, what situation, I will gain up.

That's the turning point. But turning point I will get.

Listen. Not when he said that it was

not, not when everything looked perfect, not when everything

looked better. When I've cleaned myself up and

I'm out of the big pen. When everything's fine and not,

no, it's still in the mess is I will get up.

I will arrive, so I'll go to my father.

Those words are powerful. I'll go back to my father.

This is the translation. He says here I will arrive, so

I'll go to my father. And so that is where the turn

around started. That's I love that because

that's where the miracle started when he made-up his mind,

made-up his mind came to himself and said, listen, I'm making

this decision. I'm getting up.

I've had enough of this pigs. I've got enough of this

struggling. I've had enough of this

addiction, this change of this, I've had enough of it.

I'm getting up. I'm taking a rightfully belongs

to me and listen, he's he's still in a mess.

He's lost everything. He's he's still far away from

home, full of shame, full of empty.

But when he turned back towards home, the Bible says, and I love

this, The Father ran. The Father Hallelujah, mercy

meeting on the road. The father ran not close eyes,

open arms. The Father ran Hallelujah, the

father ran and so mercy ran and you know I love it.

There was a father didn't just stand back with his arms.

Father, he says, you know, come back later when you've cleaned

yourself up, go on your way back in his house.

Go and get short yourself out. No, the father ran, love ran,

mercy ran forgiven love heart. That's how God is towards us.

He's like that towards you. The moment you say I will get

up, your father comes on the scene.

When you make that decision in that moment of time and you come

to a place and you make up your mind and you say I will get up,

I will arise. Your father comes and he says

get the best robe, get the best robe.

The robe that says you are still loved.

You are still loved. Get the robe.

Get the robe of honour, the robe of favour.

You are still out. You are still mine.

OK, I know you've missed that. I know all these things.

Listen, I still love you, my son.

Welcome home. That's how God is.

Bring the best robe and he reminds you and he restores you

of your identity. This is who you are.

He restores you. He clothes you, He places you.

That's our Father, not pointing finger.

So listen, those mistakes did not cancel your destiny.

Whether you feel like the man has been sitting at the pool at

the face door, staring at the same night for 38.

Whether you feel like that. Or maybe you feel like pulling

the dirt, or like Moses with the broken tablets.

Maybe you feel like Jacob had a grave.

Maybe you feel like the prodigal son coming home, feeling ancient

in shade. Whether you feel like the word

of God is still the same, He still says get up.

That's the word of the Lord. Get up out of fear, get up out

of disappointment, out of regrets, out of shine.

Get out out of that delay. Just get out of it.

Get up out of it. And you know you may be done,

but you're not staying down. I'm declaring and prophesying

that over your life you may be done.

You're not staying down. And that's what Micah said to us

right at the beginning. Micah said when I fall, I will

arise. So doubt is not your final

destination. Your story is not over because

there is still life in you. There is still strength in you.

There's still resurrection power.

There's still fire in you, purpose in you.

There's destiny in you. Hallelujah, somebody, these

resurrection clouds. So you're not going under.

You are getting ready to rise. I said you are getting ready to

rise and this is it. I'm closing with us.

This is your rise up moments. This is your get up moments.

Yeah, this is your comeback moment.

This is your time to bounce back like that.

Basketball bounces the table thought he could bounce into the

ground, but the harder he threw you into the ground, the higher

you bounce back. Oh my goodness.

When we swim in the sea, when we on those waves and I'm on that

Peach ball and I'm trying to put that ball under the water, that

thing just bounce and pops right back up.

The same with one of us, all of us, we bouncing back, we

bouncing back. This is your bounce back moment.

This is your comeback moment. Tyson was knocked out, but he

was knocked. He was knocked down, but not

knocked out. He got back up again, like those

boxes when they get back up again, like our kids, they get

back up again after the fall. We are getting back up again

today. So I want you to, if you believe

this, stand to your feet. If this is your word today, give

the Lords a shout of praise. Church, come on, give him some

praise. Give him the Holy Spirit is

moving in this place. So right now, I believe this is

your get up moment. You've been down, down in your

mind, down in depression, anxiety and fear and

disappointment and shame under the weight of what has happened

to you. Listen, I'm here with the word

of the Lord today. Heaven is calling you Jesus.

He's standing in front of every man, every regret, every shame,

every addiction, every situation, whatever situation

you found. And Jesus is standing there with

your power and the authority from heaven.

And he's speaking to every person, every heart in this

place right now. And he's saying get up, get up.

It's no more pity parties, no more excuses, no more listen.

It's time to get up and shine and be who we are supposed to

be. Hallelujah.

And so this is your momentous to get up out of heaviness, get out

of depression and shame and fear.

And if this word is for you, if you are saying listen, past the

years I've been carrying shame and fear and disappointment,

this is my word. I have been done.

If you are here in this place right now and you say, pastor, I

am ready to get up, put your hand up.

Put your hand, raise your yes, I'm ready to get up.

Yes, I'm ready to rise. I'm ready to rise.

I'm ready to get up. If that is you, lift both hands

all across this place right now. This is your moment, Father, in

the name of Jesus, I pray for every person with their hands

lifted right now. Every very hard brings strength,

every wound bring healing, every discouraged mind release peace.

Every person who's been stuck on that mat for a long time, bring

resurrection power. Bring resurrection life flow.

Lord, breathe on that situation. In the name of Jesus, I pray

lift them up, Lord, from the mat, from the difficulty, from

whatever they've been stuck in for years.

Jesus, we thank you for your word that you restore them, that

you revive them. Let joy rise, let strength rise.

Let faith rise and courage right.

Bring strength, Lord. And I thank you, Lord, that what

was knocked down is rising again.

When somebody has been knocked down and feeling low and down,

Lord, I pray right now, rise them up.

What was dry is living again. Let those dead things come alive

in their lives in the name of Jesus.

And what was weak, Lord, let it be strengthened again.

What was broken? Let it be restored in the name

of Jesus. Now let every chain break in the

name of Jesus. Break every chain, every

addiction, every bondage, every fear, every doubt, lose your

grip. Every lie of the enemy I command

you, lose your grip. Take your hands off God's

people, you devil, you're a defeated foe.

In the name of Jesus is more than you.

Jesus is glorious. Jesus rose again and because.

Jesus was resurrected. He's resurrected his people

right here today in the mighty name of Jesus.

Thank you, Lord, that this is not the end of this story, but

this is a turning .0 Lord, that this is a combat moment for your

people where they rise again in the mighty name of Jesus.
