Baptism of Fire - Pastor Will Roos

And so we have been in the series called Spirit LED life in

today's 16 nightly. And I want to talk about the

baptism of fire. Are you ready for this one?

Because Matthew chapter 3, verse 11, the Bible says that he will

Matthew 3:11

baptize you with the Holy Ghost of Maya.

I believe that is what God wants to do in this house today.

In this house. I'm willing to leave.

Not that you're not just looking back yet.

Actually the pentacles as an historic event.

We are putting our hearts to see what God wants to do in and

through US today. Right now what God wants to do,

and I believe the holy guys start to play with this.

Pentecost they've heard about the information about it.

They don't know denomination, Pentecost or but not.

The problem is many people have not experienced the power of

or denomination. I'm talking about the real

encounter, the real life changing encounter of the

outpouring of the holy. Spirit, now I grew.

Up in a Bible by church back in South Africa and I thank God for

my bringing and I thank God for the foundation, the Bible

foundation. But we didn't talk a lot about

the baptism of the we didn't hear much about the Holy Spirit,

the Baptism of the Holy. Spirit now I grew up in a church

where silence was holy OK this is because mess you know church

I remember when I was like when I dropped the pins people

looking at you and it's like disrupted the Holy Trinity it's

like it just dropped the. And then you make a little noise

and it's like you've disrupted because silence is holy.

Yeah. And it's like, OK, you've

disrupted Trinity, but. For me then, I grew up.

And then I was around 19/18/19, you know, studying and then

somebody invited me to squirt full thirst.

And it was not a silent church. I was just silenced silent

church. And I walked into that church,

OK, everything. Everybody was like talking and

smiling and everything seems. Calm until suddenly the music

started and people started dancing and shouting and

praising and that place in which people were going and times.

I've never had time. In my entire life, I've never

heard prophecies. People started prophesying,

people started testifying about miracles, about people getting

healed and sick free. Yeah, my, I come from a small

child. I've never, ever seen any of

that from a very adoption formed church.

And yeah, I've walked into Pretoria in this Dosodale church

and it is just everybody's dancing and crazy and going

well. And I remember either these

people have lost their minds and they completely out of their

minds, or I have been missing some.

And it turned. Out that yeah, I have been

missing some. I I was missing the fire.

Now at that point I was born again, child of God, loved

Jesus, but even though I got saved at a young age in a

bubble, I was missing the fire. And so here I am.

I'm like, oh, my goodness. I've never seen anything like

this. I've never seen search like

this. I've never experienced church.

And I felt like I'm missing something.

Is like, listen, is like the whole upper room is happening.

Like, yeah, in this church, this clerical science one is breaking

loose. People are dancing and praising

God. It's all happening.

And I was shocked. I'm so sharp, surprised.

But something inside of me started stirring.

I'm like, wow, something is burning.

Like they must. Be more to God than what I am.

Done. There must be something here

because I'm seeing people praise, I've seen signs 1 and

I'm seeing things here that must be more to God than what I've

known for all these 19 years of my life.

And So what I did was I went back straight to the Bible

because that's the number one standard.

So I went into the Bible and I discovered something.

It's real and it is biblical and it is for today I thank God.

And so exactly kind of a desire, a hunger started growing in my

heart, a hunger for more, not just a year ago.

Not just information about the Holy Spirit or doctrine, but to

no English itself. I want an encounter.

I wanted that. I thought I'm looking at people

and they're experiencing a nice praying and other songs and

laser healing some things regular.

So I'm like I want to. Experience the Holy Spirit for

myself. And so there's hunger started

growing in me and I went into the and I said one night at this

youth camp, I was there and some people prayed for me and I was

really hungry for now I'm like, no, please.

And so these people prayed. Not a complicated prayer, not a

fancy brain, just a simple prayer.

And I just opened my heart and I just try and get set the fire.

I want your fire. What?

Charge me with your fire. Oh my God, I fell off the floor.

I started shaking like a lip, glowing and felt like a

parliament from liver. No, I didn't understand

everything that was going on. I did not know.

I'm like these guys and I just knew that something internal was

happening. You know, in my life.

I just knew that God was touching me.

God was setting me on fire, touching my life.

And so I just like no longer God was just a doctor.

It became real, no longer the only.

Story was just information hearing about the Holy Spirit.

Like a fire, you get a fire alive putting inside of me.

And my life. Has changed.

I'm never going to say again. Freeze love for Jesus come

alive. Your father broke out on campus

like I'm like, my God, we we were in the streets just telling

people about the good news of God.

And so I thank God now that was my bikini.

Talking about the Spirit LED life, that was the start of it.

You see? That pittacost you should not

stay in with pittacost did you not just stay with one time back

then in the. Past it is a start of the

spiritual life. OK, so it's an everyday life,

right? So that is the current life of

every believer. Pittacost is the life of every

believer, every day. So not a once of events.

I thank God for that. That was real and that was

great. That is awesome.

But we don't just say, OK, God, we thank you for that and we

leave it in the past and now we say, God, do it again, OK,

Because that's what the Bible says in the book of Ephesians.

It says be full with the Spirit. Do nothing full and drunk with

wine, but before with the Spirit.

Because when you get. Fault with the spirit you get.

Drunk. Oh my God, I'm not talking about

in the park. I'm not talking about outdoor,

I'm talking about when you're under the influence of police.

They could get drunk. The first we justify that he's

in the bottom. That's what the people say when

they looked at them in the Apple.

When they came out, what did they say?

You keep on again and again and again.

happened then. And that that was real.

And that's what. But we say, Lord, do it again.

Fresh fire, fresh fire, send again, go on again, full again.

Somebody say fresh fire. Now Matthew chapter 3 verse 11

Matthew 3:11

says this. He will baptize you with the

hottest spirit of fire. So Jesus, that is a promise from

heaven. Jesus is still baptizing people

today with fresh fire. He's still looking for people,

baptising people with open hearts, with hungry hearts.

He's still looking for people and says, Oh no, save me lives,

save me on fire. That's the desire of Jesus.

He does not want a cold church. Jesus wants a church on fire.

It's about time for the church to come out of the fridge, and

it's time to get out of the fridge.

Get out of the fridge. Get into the power plant.

I love how I know I love it. Just like a fire, he said.

It's time for this to be a fireplace.

Get out of the fridge and get out.

Into the fireplace. We have frozen Joseph.

We are clocked to be about a blazing on fire with a fire

blazer. I'm pointing on fire throwing

the flame of that's what Jesus wants.

He wants his church on fire and. That's what he said I'll baptize

you with only goes on fire. That's Harvard promise from

heaven. Come on, somebody say Lord Set.

Me on fire that again? Lord set me on fire.

OK, so in the fire, that's one expression.

I do not want to give you 5. Expressions of the baptism of

the Spirit of Fire. What the history wants to do for

us. The first expression of the plan

is the promise of power. Jesus never seen his church into

the world. Weak of fright or tonnage or

empty, Jesus sent his church out.

With power, supernatural power. So it gave us a supernatural

assignment, but it also again was supernatural power.

Now it says here in the book of Acts one verse 8, it says you

shall receive power. Somebody say power when the Holy

Spirit has come honey. So the Christian life was never

need to for us to live just on wall power or just positive.

Thing or just now own strength for our own politics the Spirit

late life Jesus the Spirit life that we as believers we live

with the power of God the power of heaven with health of the

Holy Spirit large unique servant right the Holy Spirit helping us

empowering us to live Life OK in our everyday life so.

It's power to fulfil your. Purpose powerful.

Purpose. Somebody said that powerful

purpose. OK, yeah.

And so the Spirit late life we need need more than just more

power, need more than just good intentions and good abilities

and talents and give a spirit lead life.

We need the Holy Spirit. We need the power of God, the

power to learn, to witness. OK.

The power to stand, the power. OK.

You fulfill our purpose, Our Calling in life.

We need the power of the holies for a live life.

Are you with me? Somebody?

You fulfill our purpose. Come on, somebody say tower

purpose. Yeah, that's right.

So it's not blossoms to thinking or try harder.

No, it's power from heaven. It's powerful and high, so you

are not at a disadvantage. So if the battle looks too big

or the assignment looks too difficult or the genre looks too

impossible, the Holy Spirit is upon you.

And when the Spirit comes upon you, all of a sudden you have

strength that you don't have before.

How about something say me, yeah, that's the part of the

Holy Ghost comes upon. And so you just look back and

you say, well. That wasn't me, that was the

Holy Spirit. That was the power of God.

Hallelujah. I saw the Spirit of God gives

you powerful purpose now before the disciples were sent

something. Happened in the room before they

were sent out. Something happened in the moon

and I love this. It's still worth it.

Can you hear me again? We are, we are back.

Praise God. I want you to get hold of.

Us because before the disciples were sent out of the room, when

they were sent out, something happened in the before that was

sent out into the street, something happened in the room.

Hey, look brief. On it.

Now that brings me to our next expression.

The next point #2 the wind brings fresh breath, the breath

of God. OK, we're talking about the

wrong breath of God. It says, and Acts 2 verse 2 say

Acts 2:2

suddenly a seller took me heaven as of a rushing lighting wind.

And it fought the whole house. We're not.

We're sitting so before the fire fell the the wind kept right so

the wind came first before the fire and so whenever God

breathes it comes alive. Whatever was dead becomes alive

again. These things starting to live

again when God breathed OK in Genesis, God breathed into Adam.

Adam became a living right Ezekiel remember the prophet

standing in the value of dry bones and look all finished

scattered broken bones, impossible anti lifeless, but

for the breath of God, the rule of God, the width of God breathe

upon the dry bones that's standing and it came alive.

But I think that then I can fight the army.

They lose because of the breath of God.

OK, so the breath of God, that's what it does, it replies.

That's what the wind of this fruit does.

When the wind of God comes, it revives us.

Drive. OK.

And so the. Wind breathes life into those

places that were finished now. Maybe you walked in here today

and you feel tired when you're born down, or dry in your

marriage or sucking your finances.

Maybe you walked in here and you've got a.

Situation in the family. Maybe you have, you feel tried

and there's a relationship that feels broken or you in the

situation that you just feel that it is dry and dead and it

seems like this dream, this desire, this careful, this game

of ministry that I have just dead.

Maybe you've walked in here and you should feel.

He's fighting on ours of. A deep down inside, even still

you love God, but you still say listen God, I need fresh ring of

God. I need a ring of God.

I need a fresh touch of God. Listen, I've got good news for

you today. The wings is still glowing.

The wind blows the only goes down.

That's that's what he says in the book of John chapter 3 in

John 3 · chapter mention

the fresh breath it says in the wing blow.

Nobody said holy breathe on me. You know, honest breathe on me.

Yeah, because it wings light. When Doctor weeds and the tribe

comes up, it comes alive when yeah, dead things come alive.

Hallelujah. And so the disciples here,

they're waiting, they're praying, they're trusting, but

they don't know exactly what's come, what's going to happen.

All they have is a promise. I have a promise from Jesus,

say. Go and wait and tell you, they

say. But now they're waiting.

They pray. They don't have the exact

details. Exactly how it's going to come,

how it's. Going to happen, they don't even

know when it's going to come. The Bible they were sitting

there waiting, praying, spending time writing, the Bible says in

the book of Acts chapter 2. Suddenly, oh, I feel the

Acts 2 · chapter mention

suddenly the displays right, there's sudden interruption to

find interruption of the Holy Ghost going to interrupt the

spending money, time. The holy strugg wants to move

and touch. You don't have to wait until the

end of the service. If you receive your miracle

right there I. Might of God to bring your time

slowly and then slowly. One moment they were waiting,

the phoenix moment, suddenly heaven invasion, the wind of

God, the fire of God. One moment they are sitting in

weakness, all the very next moment they are studying in

power from weakness to power. All of a sudden there's a ship.

All of a sudden there's a change in the andquisitor.

All of a sudden that very ruinous prayer has become one

moment it's a prayer room the very next.

Woman, he said in the Bible, full with the fire and the

breath of God. Somebody shocked, Hallelujah,

somebody shocked suddenly, suddenly fear becomes vulgar.

Oh yeah, silence becomes whitless suddenly in dry places

becomes alive suddenly with sea trilies.

But Phoenix starts to breathe again.

All this come alive again because of the breath of God.

I believe that's a word for somebody today.

I believe it's a word of God for somebody in this house today.

I really believe that God is in this place right now and He's

bringing it. Suddenly there is a suddenly in

this place right now upon the life.

But suddenly, I suddenly don't know.

There is a suddenly happening in this place right now.

There's a silent strength, a silent frustration, a silent

freedom. It's there's a sling like that.

There's a sudden beginning, right?

Those of you that's under the sound on the inspiration of the

Holy Spirit, there is a silent sound at all.

There's a certain freedom right now.

I see there's a. Promotion Thank you all for

promoting leaders in this place. Promotion like the people has

been promoted, promoted, promoted.

Promotion. A sudden open door.

A sudden divide connection. A sudden divide connection.

Oh, you're with me, the right person.

Oh, hello there. I thank the living God.

Oh, I felt that's why I met my wife, Michelle.

I suddenly divide the nature. That's why.

This suddenly is happening in this place right now.

So we prophecy and we speak life.

It doesn't just stop with the wind.

OK, so there's the wind. The wind came first, but then

the fire came. And I love that song.

When wind meets fire. Isn't that a powerful song,

Right. Oh, my goodness.

Yeah. When wind meets fire, there is

something that happens very powerfully.

When wind meets fire, it's for the wildfire.

It gets really wild in this place.

I can already see right now. I see it in this fire.

I see a wild woo win a firing and I'm saying cornice and it's

spreading to Bravo Ring Berkshire.

You try in the station, I see that.

I see that body wall with that wall fire.

It's going to scoop from us twice.

It's not all good. Don't worry.

It's going to run this station. All is about player who is going

to catch. Somebody's going to catch this

flight. If I strike a match in this

place and all places close, this place is flammable.

Come on, you've got to be flammable for God.

I'm going to be so. Flammable could be the kind of

place and he knows that firing man is walking out and down his

house. His name is Jesus.

Christ of my kind of fire, when you open his eyes, you see the

fire of planting fire in his eyes.

His eyes of fire. Let's fire aloud.

There's a whirlwind of fire in this place.

When wind and fire needs, there's a whirlwind.

There's something powerful that happens.

My God, the wind. Greece refreshing the wind.

Refresher's down the field. The fire of God.

Purifiers. Yeah, now it says you .3 when

meet wind meets fire, Jesus said in Luke 12.

Verse 49. Now this is what Jesus said, OK?

To set fire on the earth. Hallelujah, one part and he's

setting his church on fire. Oh yes, that's what Jesus said.

I'm listening to all of everybody, everybody already in

Kindle. I try that every church in the

UK will be set a place on fire. We don't want to keep the youths

called dates relation. We want to give them a move of

the Holy Ghost and fire. We want to give them something

now. Yeah, we want to give them a

real deal. That's what a God.

It's you on the inside. You fall in love with Jesus.

It's a real deal. It's not pouring.

Religion it's on fire when wind meets fire, oh human invited Oh

yes, oh, that's what happened. When wind meets fire.

Oh, it started bubbling up that fire of God started hitting it.

Oh and the Bible talks about oh and it's getting a much

international. That is what happened and I

started speaking supernatural language.

That is fire forever. That's a total fire.

When you think, that's when you start operating prophecy, start

operating. I've seen the gay rights, I'm in

Africa, I've seen the, I've seen the next.

I've seen the science and miracles.

Now you want to come to the UK, Stay quiet.

Well, I've seen my own eyes. I am a living witness in Africa.

I've been to Africa, Nigeria, Swaziland, Zimbabwe.

I've been to Malawi. Those.

Places I've seen it with my own eyes.

I've seen and somebody is healed.

I've seen cancers disappear. I've seen in China there's no

race to the back to life. I've seen the miracle.

Now I drop to the UK. I'm a witness.

And then when they shot us down and told us, not going to tell

us to be with it, I've seen it. I cannot be silent.

I have to tell. I see these disciples that in

the upper room they encounter the fire in the Wizard of God.

They go out into the streets. And then with this we can't stay

silent. I cannot be shot out.

I've seen in my eyes, I've seen the miracles in Africa.

I've seen the physical, the power of God with my own eyes in

Africa. So how are we with this?

I will share the good news of Jesus Christ because they were

in the upper room. I've seen it.

I've been drunk and down the Spirit.

Now listen, that's what I put in the upper room, OK?

They were drunk, they were prophecy.

They were visible signs on this and miracles that was happening

there. OK, baldness.

OK, now for something for the people to say in the street you

are drunk, why would they say? Something like that if they come

out of like a very silent songbird King James Version

Idaho silent music. It was not silent.

I got in this it's not silent. It was loud.

The chance of Jesus Christ, the birthday of the Church of Jesus

were sounded loud. OK, so these people are saying

they're drunk. What if they say that?

Because. Yeah, thank you.

Why did you say somebody's wrong?

No, they were not drunk with wine.

But why is these people OK? Because you've just been to

Revival Church. All these people are drunk from

them. So what's happening there?

No, you're not drunk with wine. There are other big influence.

No, no, no alcohol. We are under the influence of.

No. But how can I drive back home?

Because I feel a little Madrid, yeah.

Listen, you, I'm just counting you see, that's the thing.

The people that criticize the book of God, they've not

experienced. They sent on the outside

rounding fingers, but they not even got into the actual rubber.

They're not they're not even in the water.

They set it on the side and say, oh, those people are crazy.

They have been cloudy and say they fall under the spread.

They lie on the ground. They.

They couldn't decide. Listen, I was there, I wasn't

Holy Ghost and I just love the fact right there and they're all

like drunk but by the grace of God Peter still throughout the

You can tell you drink whenever you want to take a drink and one

drink becomes whatever. Yeah, yeah, it.

God, hearing about this hearing, it's actually tasting it and

actually nothing but Jelly, it's knowing it's encountering Jesus.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's actually knowing him.

The fire chances our words, our faults, our actions, our

priorities. The fire touches our energy,

these patches, yes, how we treat people.

And so the only spirit. Comes and sometimes life gets

busy. Difficulty, challenges,

disappointment, offenses, happens, titles, patterns, these

things happen. But how it comes and says let me

burn the key, let the heal broken, let me restore what's

lost, let me bring you closer to Jesus.

And that's the only word of the spirit of Bernie.

Yeah, burn me holy. Holy Spirit, that's what we

pray. Holy Spirit, burn me, Holy

somebody said. Holy Spirit, please.

Burn me holy. Come on, say it again, Holy

Spirit, throw me holy. I'll give God some praise,

right? Notice what happened next when

the fire came. Gave them a voice now bridge the

2.4 tons of fire Acts 2 verse 4 says all of them are full

Did you notice that it says? Right.

So all of them, not just Peter, not just the apostles, not just

the leaders, all of them spark, they're all speak.

Have you noticed that? OK.

And so when the fire came. Every person in the room

received a sound. Everyone spy this speaking.

It's up. So the.

Fire did not make them. Silent.

The fire gave them a voice, and your voice carries.

That is why the devil tries to fight yourself, tries to keep

you isolated. That's why the enemy wants.

To keep you quiet. The devil wants to silence your
