"Easter Communion" with Ps Dave Fuller // 5 April 2026

I can feel like electricity right now in

this place.

And I think, as Jim said, some of

you are already getting healed right where you

are.

And you know, it's good.

We can just relax and be in the

presence of God.

We don't have to work anything up.

He's here.

And so if you need healing, just lift

up your hands and receive it.

Yeah, just thank Him.

Wow.

This is what He died for.

This is what He rose again to give

you.

Thank You.

He loves you.

You're His children or about to become one

of His children if you don't know Him

today.

He loves you so much.

For God so loved, didn't just love, He

so loved the world that He gave His

one and only precious Son, Jesus.

That whoever believes, simply believes in Him and

His resurrection will have everlasting life and will

not perish.

Will not see the pit.

He died for our sins.

He died with our sicknesses and diseases.

He died for the curse that was against

us.

Poverty, all the stuff that was against us.

He died to set us free from all

of that stuff.

And man, some of you are getting healed

right now.

If some of you need just a little

help, I'm just going to invite you to

come forward to the altar.

I'm going to even ask Jim if she

would pray for you.

If some of you just need a bit

of help in that area, just feel free

to come.

Right now, some of you are already down

here, you can stay.

That's just fine.

Some people just coming up, God bless you.

Jim, you just take your liberty.

Just go and just lay hands on these

precious people.

Maybe just need a little help with their

faith.

T.L. Osborne once said, he said, some

of you are waiting for me to stop

teaching so you can get your healing.

He said, I'm waiting for you to get

your healing so I can stop teaching.

So we've been so conditioned to start, stop.

The kingdom of God is a river, it's

flow.

And we're flowing in the river right now.

Thank you, Jesus.

Isn't he awesome?

Oh, Jesus, we thank you, we worship you.

You're amazing.

You love us so much.

You died for us on that cross.

You became sin without sin.

You became sick without sickness and disease.

And you descended.

And you beat the devil up big time.

Took the keys of death and hell and

rose again.

Victorious.

We celebrate the resurrection.

We celebrate you, Jesus.

You're seated at the right hand of the

Father right now, our high priest.

Jesus is praying for you right now.

You'll receive the reward of what he paid

for you to have.

How many could raise a hand and just

say that you feel the healing touch of

Jesus on your body right now?

Several hands going up all over the building.

You know, it's very interesting.

The very last word that Jesus said on

the cross, I'm going to see if I

can remember it, was tetelestai.

Anybody ever heard that word before?

It's all Greek to me.

Tetelestai.

That was the last word that he said

on the cross.

And then it says he bowed his head

like somebody bowing their head on a pillow.

And he rested in his finished work.

He rested knowing that tetelestai, which means it

is finished, also means it's paid in full.

The price is paid in full.

Mission accomplished.

He rested his head and he found his

pleasure in saving you, becoming your sin substitute.

He found his pleasure in taking your and

my sickness disease upon his body on that

cross.

And he rested in his finished work.

And I want to read to you from

Colossians.

This is actually the communion flow.

I'm going to read to you out of

Colossians chapter 2.

Colossians 2 · chapter mention

Talking about Jesus.

For in him dwells all the fullness of

the Godhead bodily.

Notice that little phrase in him.

Very powerful phrase.

The best way to study the Bible is

to find out who you are in him.

It's a covenant term.

Who is the head of all principality and

power.

In him, everyone say in him.

You were also circumcised with the circumcision made

without hands.

You got into the old covenant by a

fleshly circumcision.

A little bit of blood was shed.

But you get into the new covenant by

the circumcision of Christ when you invite Jesus

into your life.

There's a circumcision.

The cutting off of the body of flesh.

Jesus took that away.

That's how we enter into a new covenant.

We're in a new covenant now church.

That's good news.

By the putting off of the body of

sins of the flesh by the circumcision of

Christ.

Buried with him in baptism.

In which you also were raised with him

through faith and the working of God.

Who raised him from the dead.

Aren't you glad about that?

Resurrection Sunday.

Christianity stands and falls on the resurrection.

And you being dead and your trespasses and

the uncircumcision of your flesh.

And if you're here today and you don't

know Jesus.

The Bible says that you are dead on

the inside.

You're separated from the Father.

But the good news is Jesus came.

And took on himself everything that would separate

you from the Father.

And he rose again on the third day.

We call it Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday.

And the good news is that Jesus says

to you today.

That it is paid in full.

He's paid the price for your past, present

and future sins.

And today you can freely receive him as

your Lord and Savior.

Amen.

Is that good news?

He has made a life together with him.

Having forgiven you all trespasses.

Now that includes past, present and future sins.

That freaks some people out.

But think about it when Jesus died on

the cross.

All of our sins were future.

Now here's a really cool picture.

In the book of Joshua.

They were to go over the Jordan.

And possess the promised land.

Now interestingly they couldn't possess the land under

Moses.

Because Moses represented the old covenant.

Moses himself blew it.

He went to strike that rock a second

time.

And God said you're not going in.

So he raised up Joshua.

Joshua is the name for Jesus.

See Moses and the Lord won't take you

into the promised land.

Jesus Christ will.

Grace will take you in.

The love of God will take you in.

Law keeping will not take you in.

It will actually keep you out.

But here's the amazing thing.

Joshua told the priest to take a box.

Called the ark of the covenant.

Which some of you probably know about.

Some of you don't.

It was basically a box made of an

incorruptible wood.

Acacia.

Representing Jesus humanity.

He was 100% human.

Overlaid with gold with a solid gold lid.

Representing his divinity.

He was 100% God.

So Jesus represented us.

To God and God to us.

And Joshua told the Levites to carry the

ark of the covenant.

To set their foot into the Jordan river.

That was at flood tide.

So they could go and possess the promised

land.

Now some people say it was all about

what the priest did.

But it wasn't.

It was about the box they were carrying.

Which the ark of the covenant represents Christ.

It had the mercy seat on top.

With the blood sprinkled.

Now as soon as they obeyed.

And they stepped into that Jordan river.

That was in flood.

It said not only did the river stop.

But that river backed up 25 kilometers.

To a city called Adam.

Anybody listening this morning?

He took care of the sin.

All the way back to Adam.

But not only did the water go that

way.

It said the waters went all the way

down.

Another 15 kilometers to the dead sea.

Because he said I'll throw your sins in

the sea of forgetfulness.

See what happens when Jesus turns up.

He takes care of the sin problem.

And they were able to cross over.

And go into the promised land.

Praise God.

Hallelujah.

See we live under a new and a

better covenant.

And as we come around the communion table.

This is not a sin offering.

This is not where we're reminded of our

sinfulness.

Or the things we've done wrong last week.

This is a reminder of a covenant that

Jesus made.

An everlasting covenant.

Where he says I'll take care of your

sins.

I'll take care of your sickness.

I'll take care of your curse.

I'll take care of your lack.

I'll take care of your rejection.

And everything that the enemy was trying to

hold against us.

We didn't even finish the scripture.

Look at this.

Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements.

That was against us.

Which was contrary to us.

He's taken it out of the way.

Having nailed it to the cross.

Now your translation may say certificate of debt.

Now back in those days I think it

was the Romans.

It could have been the Jews.

But I think it was probably the Romans.

They literally if you were in some kind

of debt to them.

They literally would hand you a certificate.

I think they actually would nail it on

your door.

And it would actually have basically all the

debts that you had incurred.

It was literally called a certificate of debt.

And they could actually arrest you and charge

you.

If your debt got out of control.

And so what Jesus is saying here.

He's saying when he hung on the cross.

He said that certificate of debt was nailed

to the cross.

And he said paid in full.

It is finished.

The price has been paid.

Hallelujah.

But notice there's a connecting verse.

Some of us will never have made this

connection.

But I'm going to make it for you

today.

This verse is connected because it says having.

The thought continues.

Having disarmed principalities and powers.

He made a public spectacle of them.

Triumphing over them in it.

Now what's the connection?

If you've got no debt.

You can't be accused.

You can't be charged.

And you can't be arrested.

So Satan's accusations come to nothing.

Because you say it's paid in full.

Jesus got it for me.

I don't have to get by healing.

Jesus got it for me.

Hallelujah.

This new covenant is amazing.

Because you know forgiveness of sins is actually

not enough.

As good as that is.

That's not it.

Forgiveness of sins is awesome.

But God takes it further than that.

He said I'm going to give you a

brand new nature.

He said I'm going to give you eternal

life.

So if you just had sins forgiven.

Then your sinful nature is just going to

continue to sin.

It's really important that we understand the gospel.

Because Paul said in Romans 1.16. He

said I'm not ashamed of the gospel.

It is the power of God unto salvation

for everyone who believes.

For the Jew first and also for the

Greek.

For in the gospel.

The righteousness of God is revealed.

From faith to faith.

Now if you want to go from faith

to faith.

You need to become a righteousness conscious person.

If you're a sin conscious person.

You'll go from faith to faith this way.

Now we don't understand righteousness very much.

Which means we don't understand the gospel.

Because Matthew, Mark, Luke and John didn't say

too much about it.

They hinted at it.

They said things like blessed are those who

hunger and thirst for righteousness.

They shall be filled.

But they couldn't say too much about it.

Because nobody would have understood it.

All they understood was righteousness by works.

Work harder.

Keep the law.

Do this.

Do that.

They wouldn't have understood it.

In fact Jesus said before he ascended.

He said I've got many things to say

to you.

But you're not able to bear it now.

Because you're not a new creation yet.

So the letters of Paul contained the words

of Jesus unuttered when he ascended to the

father.

And so Paul has the revelation of the

gospel.

You're not going to get it in Matthew,

Mark, Luke and John.

Primarily because Jesus was speaking to Jews under

the law.

But he said blessed are those who hunger

and thirst for righteousness.

Now when does that get fulfilled?

I'll tell you when.

The moment you get born again.

God made him who knew no sin to

be sin on our behalf.

That we might be made the righteousness of

God in Christ Jesus.

So when you accept Jesus Christ as your

Lord and Saviour.

Not only do you get forgiven of your

sin.

But you literally take on the nature of

God which is righteousness.

Your spirit gets reborn with the very substance

and nature of God himself on the inside.

And you become a new creation in Christ.

Resurrection power.

Eternal life starts the moment you get born

again.

Hallelujah.

And the Bible says the fruits of the

righteous are a tree of life.

And he who wins souls is wise.

What's the fruits of righteousness?

Doing the works of Jesus and greater works.

You say well I can't do that.

I'm just an old sinner saved by Christ.

Don't talk old covenant.

You are a son.

You are a daughter of the most high

God.

By one sacrifice he has perfected you forever

concerning your spirit.

You are his son.

You are his precious daughter.

And righteousness means that you can stand in

the presence of the Father.

Without any sense of guilt, sin or condemnation.

Because you're now a son.

You're now a daughter of the most high

God.

How many love it when your kids just

cower around you?

They're like oh dad I just feel so

unworthy.

No I'm not worthy to eat your food.

Not worthy to receive a birthday present.

Now that's weird.

But yet sometimes we act like that around

our Father God.

Just a thought.

Yet what does the script say?

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne

of grace.

Why?

Because of the blood.

Not because of us.

Because of the blood of Jesus.

To find grace and mercy to help in

a time of need.

I'll tell you what.

He's done everything that needed to be done.

Tetelestai.

Turn to your neighbor and say it three

times.

Interpreted means it is finished.

Paid in full.

Hallelujah.

Thank you Jesus.

He paid the price.

Hallelujah.

Not only did he pay the price.

He rose again on the third day to

be our great high priest.

And so when we come around the table

and invite you to come now and receive

the bread and the juice.

Arm yourself this morning.

Just come forward now.

Just come forward and help yourself.

He is now our high priest.

I don't want to go too deep but

the Bible says he's a high priest.

Not according to Aaron but according to Melchizedek.

What that simply means is that now there's

a covenant and a high priest and there's

no curses any longer.

There was no curses in the Melchizedek priesthood.

Only blessings.

Why?

Because Christ became a curse for us.

Just give your time to come forward.

Make sure you just kind of clear out

of it so others can get in.

Arm yourself this morning.

You've got a couple of mighty weapons in

your hands.

One drop of the blood of Jesus.

The most powerful substance in the universe.

The wealth of this world could not buy

one single drop of Jesus' blood.

The Father is in constant view of Jesus'

blood.

And it says the blood is actually speaking.

It's speaking right now.

And I can promise you it's not speaking

judgment.

It's speaking righteousness.

Speaking blessing.

The blood is speaking that you're accepted in

the beloved.

That you're forgiven.

That you're healed.

The blood is speaking better things than that

of Abel.

Abel's blood is crying out for justice.

Jesus said justice has been done.

We enjoy this covenant of grace.

Grace means unearned, unmerited, and something else.

Undeserved favor of God.

It's freely received.

But yet it wasn't cheap.

It cost Jesus everything.

It cost the Father something to give up

his son.

And yet for us it's so easy to

receive.

Some of you are still arming yourselves.

We understand that this blood represents a covenant.

And this covenant cannot be broken.

The old covenant relied too much on man's

part.

The Bible called it a faulty covenant.

It failed to bring us near to the

heart of the Father.

And so Jesus says guess what?

I'm going to step in as man's substitute.

And I'm going to shed my blood on

behalf of man.

I'm going to make a covenant that man

cannot break.

But we enter into this covenant by faith.

We put our faith in what the blood

has done, has accomplished.

What about the bread?

What about the bread?

Jesus had a lady come up to him

in the Gospels.

She was looking for healing for her daughter.

And Jesus said it's not fit to take

the children's bread and feed it to the

dogs.

How would you like to have been on

receiving end of that?

But she was amazing.

She said she was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician

I think she was.

And she said yes, but even the dogs

licked the crumbs from under the master's table.

Healing is the children's bread.

This represents Jesus' body.

In Isaiah he said he bore our sicknesses

and he carried our pains.

And by his stripes we are healed.

Peter looked back at the cross and said

by his stripes we were healed.

We would have less confusion about healing if

we just looked back to the cross and

said that's where my healing was purchased.

We wouldn't have to wonder about the will

of the Father.

Does he want to heal me?

No, healing is for all.

Forgiveness is for all.

Hallelujah.

So we talk about...

Okay, there's more bullets on the way.

We've run a little short.

That's a good problem to have, isn't it,

in some ways?

So more is on the way.

Praise God.

So whilst we're waiting for that, I want

to give an invitation right now.

If you found yourself here, maybe it wasn't

exactly your plan to come to church, but

being Easter you decided to say yes, I'll

go with my family.

You did the right thing.

You honoured God by doing that.

You honoured your family.

And now God wants to honour you because

you're right here and He loves you so

much and He's so glad that you decided

to come today.

And like we've been hearing, it's so easy

to have a relationship with Him because He's

done all the work of it.

And the Bible literally says that all you

have to do is believe that Jesus came,

that He died on the cross with your

sin and my sin, and that He was

resurrected on the third day.

And the Bible says if you confess Jesus

Christ as Lord and believe in your heart

that God raised Him from the dead, you

will be saved.

For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness.

Hello, there's the gospel right there.

You believe that you can be made literally

brand new on the inside.

You can be given a brand new inside,

a brand new spirit that actually not only

wants to do the will of God but

has the power to do the will of

God.

That's you today.

You can lay that old man down.

Jesus took care of that old man.

He doesn't want you to carry him around

any longer.

And so right now I'm just going to

look around this dark room and I'm looking

for a hand that would say, that's me

this morning.

Man, I can see why I'm supposed to

be here now.

You can feel your heart beating.

You can feel something happening on the inside

of you.

That's God making Himself real to you.

That's how much He loves you.

The Holy Spirit of God is in this

place.

And if that's you, I want you to

just raise a hand up.

And I'll look very carefully in the dimly

lit room.

I can see the front half.

And if that's you today, just raise a

hand and we're going to pray for you.

Whilst we're waiting, I think some more has

arrived.

Let's pray.

Let's pray for those that want to make

that decision today.

Father God, let's just all pray together.

Father God, thank You for Jesus.

Thank You for sending Him to the earth.

Thank You for the life that He lived

and the death that He died.

That He died my death on that cross.

He took my sin.

He took my sickness.

He took my disease.

He was judged in my place.

And then on the third day, You rose

Him from the grave.

And He's King of kings and Lord of

lords.

And today my declaration is Jesus Christ is

my Lord.

Let's say that again.

Jesus Christ is my Lord.

Hallelujah.

Thank You, Jesus.

Has everybody got your bullets?

We're all good?

The blood.

The blood.

One act completed.

Never to be repeated.

In present effect.

That's what you're holding in your hand.

We are celebrating the covenant that was made

2,000 years ago.

It cannot be broken.

What's our part?

Simply to believe that He did His part.

We get off scot-free.

It's amazing.

It's called grace.

The scandal of grace.

Couldn't have made it any easier for us.

And so we're going to drink.

And the Bible says that the blood of

Jesus reaches right into our conscience and cleanses

us from a guilty conscience to serve a

living God.

And if you've been carrying around some baggage

or the devil's just been beating you up

with accusations, it's time to hold up the

blood and said from today onwards, my conscience

is cleansed by the blood of Jesus to

serve the living God.

Let's drink and be cleansed today.

Amen.

Wow.

One drop of His blood.

Now take your other bullet.

I know it's just a bit of cracker,

but it represents the body of Jesus.

His body was broken so that you and

I could be whole.

Amen.

Pretty good deal.

Just love the healing testimonies we heard.

All because of this.

All because of what Jesus did on the

cross.

Tetelestai.

Paid in full.

I just had a good report from the

doctor myself.

Some of you have been praying for me.

And one of the legions has gone from

6mm down to 4mm.

Hallelujah.

Praise God.

Swelling's gone down.

Never mentioned anything about bleeding on the brain,

so I'm just assuming that's all good.

But the Bible says in Isaiah 41, 11,

it shall be as nothing and a nonexistent

thing.

And that's what we're settling for.

Amen.

Because of this.

Because of Jesus.

Because of His love.

Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.

So let's partake and just receive His finished

work.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Lord, I just pray for these people this

morning, these beautiful people that have come on

Easter Sunday.

Lord, I speak blessing over them.

I speak the power of God over you,

and I pray that you will take that

challenge.

What are you going to do with Jesus

in your world?

Are you going to shine His light that

the whole world will see that when people

ask what is different about you, you can

say it is Christ in me?
