  2. You're an awesome God.

  3. You're worthy of praise.

  4. We love you.

  5. We exalt you, oh God, this morning.

  6. Mighty, mighty, mighty is our God.

  7. Mighty, mighty, mighty is our God.

  8. Father, we praise you.

  9. We worship you.

  10. God, there's a stirring in our hearts.

  11. Lord, in the natural we could think, oh,

  12. we've just come to church.

  13. No, we've stepped into destiny.

  14. We've stepped into a new place in God.

  15. We've stepped into a new encounter with the

  16. living God.

  17. And this morning, Father, I pray that our

  18. hearts, our hearts are open.

  19. God, our hearts would press in.

  20. God, our hearts would hunger for something fresh

  21. in God.

  22. Lord, right now, right now, we take authority

  23. over fear.

  24. God, we take authority over hearts that are

  25. closed down.

  26. God, we take authority over obstacles that have

  27. been in people's lives that are just causing

  28. them to face a black wall and feeling

  29. that they can't make progress forward.

  30. Father, we take authority over fear.

  31. We take authority over doubt.

  32. God, we take authority over sickness and pain

  33. in people's bodies right now in Jesus' name.

  34. Father, for those that are suffering pain, have

  35. got sickness, right now, God, we speak healing.

  36. We speak health in Jesus' name.

  37. God, we speak a supernatural victory and breakthrough

  38. in their lives in Jesus' name.

  39. God, they came into church, they came into

  40. a building, but they came into the presence

  41. of God and their lives were transformed.

  42. Never, never, never to be the same again.

  43. They encountered a living, awesome God.

  44. And Father, we praise You this morning.

  45. God, we praise You this morning.

  46. God, we praise You this morning.

  47. We praise You this morning.

  48. Just encourage just a moment longer, just keep

  49. your hearts open.

  50. Well, keep your hearts open always to God.

  51. But just in His presence, I just really

  52. felt upon my heart that we stepped into

  53. church.

  54. But I want to encourage you that church

  55. this morning, we stepped into more than church,

  56. we stepped into destiny.

  57. We stepped into a whole new journey in

  58. the kingdom of God.

  59. This is not just the same old, same

  60. old day.

  61. This is a day of fresh encounter.

  62. This is the day of wells being dug

  63. and dug deeper.

  64. This is a day of deeper refreshing.

  65. This is a day of encountering an awesome

  66. God.

  67. And from that moment, being forever transformed.

  68. And God, I speak that over every situation.

  69. God, I speak that over every need right

  70. now in Jesus' name.

  71. That God, there's breakthrough, there's freedom, there's joy.

  72. God, there's answers in this storm in Jesus'

  73. mighty name.

  74. And God, we worship You, we praise You.

  75. Hallelujah.

  76. God, we worship You.

  77. Come on, let's give the Lord a mighty

  78. shout and a praise.

  79. We honor You.

  80. We worship You.

  81. You are almighty God.

  82. You're almighty God.

  83. And we love You, Lord, this morning.

  84. We love You, Lord, this morning.

  85. Hallelujah.

  86. Father, we praise You.

  87. We praise You.

  88. We praise You.

  89. We love You.

  90. We honor You.

  91. Man, what an awesome creative team.

  92. I think many of them were here in

  93. church worshipping before you guys got out of

  94. bed.

  95. Come on.

  96. I love this passage of Scripture.

  97. There's a number of verses I like.

  98. But in 2 Corinthians, in chapter 3, and

  99. it says, Right,

  100. there's the Word.

  101. Off you go.

  102. See you later.

  103. That's enough.

  104. Jesus is enough.

  105. Hallelujah.

  106. You can be seated.

  107. How about before you're seated, give someone a

  108. high five.

  109. Give someone a high five.

  110. Give someone a high five.

  111. I really do feel this is a time

  112. of destiny.

  113. This is a time of incredible.

  114. You're sensing that excitement in your heart.

  115. I think the whole Inspire Whangarei.

  116. Come on, guys.

  117. Get excited about that.

  118. That is huge.

  119. That is huge.

  120. And, you know, God's lighthouses, God's cities being

  121. built more and more.

  122. Hearts being set on fire.

  123. Lives transformed.

  124. This is what we want.

  125. I want to talk this morning, and, oh,

  126. you never know where I'm going to go,

  127. but I just, in my heart, I had

  128. sort of three words that just really spoke

  129. to me, and it's just three words.

  130. And Pastor Jesse, come on, stirred you up

  131. last week.

  132. He said, come on, take notes.

  133. Don't just, I wonder what that preacher will

  134. say to me.

  135. I wonder if it'll be all right, or

  136. will I fall asleep.

  137. You know, get your notepad out.

  138. Get your pen out.

  139. I want to, three words I just want

  140. to really hone in on this morning, but

  141. I just have that word destiny.

  142. You and I will never be the same.

  143. Destiny is written all over us.

  144. We will never be the same.

  145. Jesus transforms our life.

  146. He takes us from glory to glory.

  147. Yes, we sometimes have some boring parts of

  148. our life and that, but we quickly get

  149. out of those and get back on the

  150. road again.

  151. Get into the destiny.

  152. Get into the calling.

  153. Get into the steps of God, the ways

  154. of God.

  155. Keep on pressing in, Church of God.

  156. Dream, number one, dream.

  157. Number two, taste.

  158. And number three, change.

  159. Sorry, change, growth, transformation.

  160. I just want to share a little bit,

  161. before I get into that, and we'll head

  162. to those three words a little bit further

  163. on, but I just want you to imagine

  164. this.

  165. You're travelling along the road of life, and

  166. then suddenly you hit a pothole.

  167. Everyone say pothole.

  168. I know you don't face potholes and difficult

  169. rough patches in your life, but I've had

  170. one or two in my life.

  171. Suddenly you hit a pothole, some rough patch

  172. in your life.

  173. It might be a difficult event.

  174. It might be some harsh words spoken.

  175. It might be some family issue.

  176. It might be a health challenge.

  177. It might be an employment issue.

  178. It might be something that's happening in work

  179. or whatever.

  180. You hit a rough patch, you hit a

  181. pothole, and it's so easy to let these

  182. events unsettle us, jolt us, try to derail

  183. us, hinder us from moving forward, put our

  184. mind in a spin, when suddenly we take

  185. our eyes off the Lord, we take our

  186. eyes off the destiny and calling that He

  187. has for us, and we get all microscopal.

  188. We get the old microscope out and start

  189. to hone in on the problem and diagnose

  190. and get down on our hands and knees

  191. and look into the pothole and measure how

  192. deep the pothole is and measure how wide

  193. the pothole is and call the police so

  194. they can come and look into the pothole

  195. as well.

  196. And so we love our potholes, and sometimes

  197. we make a science of studying potholes, but

  198. just realise in life we will have potholes.

  199. We will face times like that, and they're

  200. not always easy.

  201. It's not always easy.

  202. Trouble tries to cloud our vision.

  203. Listen to that.

  204. Trouble tries to cloud our vision, cloud our

  205. perspective, and stop us from moving forward.

  206. It really does.

  207. Believe it.

  208. Stop us from moving forward.

  209. Some people in life are like this, and

  210. I know none of you are like this,

  211. and of course I've never been like this,

  212. but you go along through life, you hit

  213. a pothole, you hit an obstacle, you hit

  214. a trial, and you crash, you fall over,

  215. you veer off the road a bit, you

  216. have a little bit of a cry, you

  217. have a little bit of a weep, you

  218. cry out to your mum, mum puts some

  219. bandages on you, you slowly get up.

  220. Sometimes earlier on it takes you quite a

  221. few years to get up, but you finally

  222. get up, and then you move on again,

  223. only for another pothole to hit you.

  224. Then out comes the tears, out come the

  225. bandages, and you finally recover, and then you

  226. slowly get up again.

  227. And so that's sometimes what some people's lives

  228. are like, but on the other hand, other

  229. people's lives are like this.

  230. Yes, they still face potholes, they still face

  231. challenges, but I was actually talking to a

  232. lady just recently, and she said, we're talking

  233. about some of the issues and challenges that

  234. she's had in her journey, but she said

  235. to me, oh, but John, I'm feeling stronger

  236. on the inside.

  237. There's more of a fight, there's more of

  238. a fight in me.

  239. I used to in the past, a problem,

  240. a trial, a challenge, and whack, I'm out

  241. for a while.

  242. Gradually I get up, but today, today I'm

  243. so much stronger.

  244. Yes, I've still got some challenges, and we

  245. all do, but I'm stronger, I've got some

  246. fight, there's something more happening on the inside

  247. of me.

  248. And I believe that that's where that place

  249. of growth is, learning to persevere, learning to

  250. fight the good fight.

  251. It's a good fight of faith.

  252. It is a good fight.

  253. There is a fight.

  254. Sometimes it's a fight to come to church.

  255. Sometimes it's a fight to get to a

  256. prayer meeting or get to youth group or

  257. get to something.

  258. It's a fight sometimes.

  259. There's an opposition you've got to push through.

  260. You've got to fight to get where you

  261. need to be.

  262. So back to this thought of travelling down

  263. the highway of life and hitting a pothole.

  264. You see, in the natural, and I'm sorry

  265. to go into the science of motor vehicles,

  266. but you guys are spoiled.

  267. You guys are spoiled.

  268. When you travelled this morning in your cars,

  269. most of you have come in cars, you

  270. had an incredible suspension in your car that

  271. really hardly even let you feel the fact

  272. that there were potholes or bumps on your

  273. journey.

  274. So I would like, Johnny, do you want

  275. to just bring that bag up that's under

  276. the seat?

  277. I really don't want you guys to finish.

  278. You might need to stay up here.

  279. What am I doing?

  280. I don't want you to, I don't want

  281. you to sort of, oh, Pastor John preached

  282. a message, but bloody fuck, I remember what

  283. he talked about.

  284. He just went over my head.

  285. I had no understanding of what he was

  286. mentioning.

  287. So I just brought a little bit of

  288. an illustration here.

  289. And what I did, I actually found out

  290. where, who was it?

  291. It was Vaughan.

  292. I found out where Vaughan lived and he's

  293. got this monster truck and I thought, well,

  294. he won't miss a shock absorber off his

  295. monster truck.

  296. So I snuck in there.

  297. While I was in there, actually, by the

  298. way, I should confess this, I did siphon

  299. a bit of petrol.

  300. So I siphoned a bit of petrol but

  301. I stole this thing here.

  302. Now, a lot of you, probably most of

  303. you guys don't even know what this is,

  304. but this is a shock absorber.

  305. And so what actually happens, and Johnny, just

  306. don't damage your hand and then maybe push

  307. it on that bit of carpet so we

  308. don't damage that.

  309. See, what actually happens is that when some

  310. shock or some weight comes on that, the

  311. shock absorber goes down and it cushions the

  312. effect of the pothole that you're going on.

  313. So there's a cushioning and it gives you

  314. a lovely ride.

  315. And so you can, as you cruise down

  316. the motorway, Ian, doing your work, reading meters,

  317. you can sip your latte because the shock

  318. absorber is doing all the work.

  319. It's cushioning and you don't even know it's

  320. working.

  321. And he's got some muscles there, hasn't he?

  322. He's actually doing quite well.

  323. Maybe another 20.

  324. It takes a while.

  325. It takes a while.

  326. And I believe that that shock absorber illustration

  327. is the very life of Christ within us.

  328. See, before we gave our lives to Jesus

  329. Christ, before we surrendered, often challenges, difficulties would

  330. come.

  331. We'd try to solve them in our own

  332. strength and in our own wisdom.

  333. But now we've been equipped with Vaughan's shock

  334. absorbers.

  335. They need reconditioning, but they're not too bad.

  336. And I want to just say to you

  337. this morning and take that further into a

  338. spiritual application.

  339. You see, the greatest reality is that Jesus

  340. Christ is our shock absorber.

  341. When trouble comes along and we hit obstacles

  342. in life, there's not the jarring, there's not

  343. the tragic effect of that pothole on our

  344. lives because there's the presence of God in

  345. us to help us to journey through the

  346. reality of that pothole.

  347. It is Jesus Christ, not only Him, who

  348. took the shock of our sin, our lostness,

  349. our brokenness, our separation, our sickness, and our

  350. disease, the shock of the devil's lies and

  351. deception, and He willingly went to the cross

  352. of Calvary, laid down His life as a

  353. sacrificial lamb, conquered death and hell, rose victorious,

  354. and is now seated at the right hand

  355. of God the Father.

  356. Jesus Christ is humanity's shock absorbers.

  357. You cannot, as a human being, cope with

  358. the shocks that come against you.

  359. You will be defeated.

  360. But with Christ in your life, I can

  361. weather the storm.

  362. Not just weather the storm, but I can

  363. rise up.

  364. Too many people live with their nose down.

  365. We need to live with our nose up.

  366. We need to live without, boy, it's dangerous

  367. being on the front row.

  368. We need to live with our nose up

  369. because we're looking to Jesus Christ, the author

  370. and the finisher of our faith.

  371. There's no one like Him.

  372. You know, the victory is in the fact

  373. that Christ resides within us by the power

  374. of the Holy Spirit.

  375. We have the presence of God within us.

  376. John 14 and verse 23 says this, Jesus

  377. replied, if anyone who loves Me will obey

  378. My teaching.

  379. Man, that's important.

  380. My Father will love them, and we will

  381. come to them and make our home with

  382. them.

  383. Hallelujah.

  384. Colossians 1 and verse 27 says, God has

  385. chosen to make known to the Gentiles the

  386. glorious riches of this ministry, which is Christ

  387. in you, the hope of glory.

  388. This is a message that needs to be

  389. proclaimed.

  390. I love this.

  391. 2 Corinthians 4 and verse 6.

  392. Man, this is getting better.

  393. 2 Corinthians 4 and verse 6, and this

  394. is powerful, and it says, for God, everyone

  395. say that, for God, who said, let light

  396. shine out of darkness, made His light shine

  397. in our hearts to give us the light

  398. of the knowledge of the glory of God

  399. in the face of Christ.

  400. And then verse 7 says, but we have

  401. this treasure in jars of clay to show

  402. that this all-surpassing glory is not from

  403. us, but from Him.

  404. And I just, what an awesome declaration to

  405. make in our world today.

  406. We need the presence of the living God

  407. more and more and more.

  408. Any opportunity to be filled up, any opportunity

  409. to be strengthened in our faith that we

  410. might learn the joy of having that powerful

  411. shock absorber in our life to cause us

  412. to rise up and to be all that

  413. God has called us to be.

  414. You know, it's so easy with humanity, with

  415. our own frail hearts at times, trouble, bow

  416. down.

  417. Trouble, bow down.

  418. Trouble, bow down.

  419. But when we have the resurrected Christ within

  420. us, it's different.

  421. I put it like this way, it's very

  422. easy to think, oh, if Christ is in

  423. me, then it's easy.

  424. I'm good.

  425. No, it's not actually always quite like that.

  426. There is often a battle.

  427. But I think the wonder of that is

  428. you can see yourself grow where once something

  429. like that struck you and it took you

  430. three months to get up.

  431. But now I'm up within a month.

  432. It used to be six weeks and now

  433. I'm up in a week.

  434. Because we learn to rise up and to

  435. let God work in us to will and

  436. to do of His good pleasure.

  437. There's a working of His spirit, there's a

  438. stirring.

  439. Okay, I want to move on a little

  440. bit more and I want to talk about

  441. dreaming, I want to talk about tasting, and

  442. I want to talk about being transformed.

  443. I want us to go back into the

  444. Old Testament record of Numbers chapter 13 and

    Numbers 13 chapter mention

  445. it's talking about, remember the children of Israel

  446. were in slavery in Egypt.

  447. They had incredibly hard taskmasters.

  448. They cried out to God.

  449. God in His mercy and His power sent

  450. Moses the great deliverer.

  451. There was the 10 plagues.

  452. They finally, Pharaoh released the Israelite nation through

  453. the Red Sea and then finally they come

  454. to the border of the Red Sea and

  455. that's covering a lot of time.

  456. Okay, then they come to the land of

  457. Canaan.

  458. The land of Canaan was the promised land.

  459. It was really the picture of the more

  460. that God has for us.

  461. Egypt represents slavery.

  462. Egypt represents bondage.

  463. Egypt represents hard taskmasters.

  464. And do you know in our world today

  465. and we've probably experienced this at times in

  466. our life that the enemy is a hard

  467. taskmaster.

  468. The enemy, the Bible says, Jesus said, the

  469. enemy has come to steal and to kill

  470. and destroy.

  471. He seeks to destroy human lives.

  472. He seeks to so twist their minds, so

  473. fill them with substances, so break their spirits

  474. that they just end up washed out, almost

  475. hopeless apart from God.

  476. But the incredible joy is that there's a

  477. land of freedom.

  478. Egypt represents slavery.

  479. The land of Canaan, that Egypt represents slavery.

  480. Canaan represents freedom.

  481. You know, that's a powerful, powerful verse of

  482. Scripture in Colossians 1 and verse 13 where

  483. it says that He has taken us out

  484. of the kingdom of darkness and translated us

  485. into the kingdom of the Son He loves.

  486. There's a translation that's happened.

  487. You've changed your geographical location.

  488. You may not realise it, but you've been

  489. taken out of the kingdom of darkness and

  490. you've been brought into the kingdom of the

  491. Son.

  492. He loves.

  493. Isn't that lovely?

  494. You're in the kingdom of the Son He

  495. loves.

  496. See, the land of Canaan is a picture

  497. of the provision, the abundance, the victory and

  498. the blessing of God.

  499. Remember, these people had cried out to God

  500. in their slavery and in their distress and

  501. God had heard and answered their cry.

  502. And that's Exodus chapter two.

  503. God hears the cry of our heart.

  504. God hears the cry of our heart.

  505. God is not deaf.

  506. God hears the cry of the human heart.

  507. God hears the cry of the human heart.

  508. And I want to talk this morning about

  509. the 12 spies that went into the promised

  510. land.

  511. And God gave them three objectives with exploring

  512. this land of Canaan.

  513. They weren't going into occupied at that stage.

  514. They were just going into this land to

  515. explore it, to see what it was like.

  516. God had already said to them that I've

  517. given you this land of promise.

  518. This land is yours.

  519. It's yours to take.

  520. But what I want you to do, I

  521. want you to send these leaders, these spies

  522. that were to go in and they were

  523. to explore this land.

  524. And I believe also this exploring of this

  525. land of Canaan also speaks to us as

  526. we journey into all that God has got

  527. for us.

  528. This really speaks to our lives, as to

  529. our journey and us entering into our spiritual

  530. Canaan.

  531. And number one, I believe the objective that

  532. God has in sending them into the promised

  533. land is that they needed to capture a

  534. vision of what God was doing.

  535. They needed to see something.

  536. They're only on a journey.

  537. It was 40 days in that promised land,

  538. but he wanted them to catch something.

  539. He wanted them to see something.

  540. He wanted them to capture a picture, a

  541. glimpse of what God was going to do.

  542. And many times God does that in our

  543. lives.

  544. He gives us a vision.

  545. He gives us a picture of what's going

  546. to happen.

  547. He grips our heart.

  548. He gives us a seeing, an ability to

  549. just have a sense that in the future

  550. something's going to happen.

  551. It's something precious.

  552. It's something you can't always even talk about,

  553. but it happens.

  554. I know for me, when I was just

  555. a little whippersnapper, a young teenage boy, I

  556. got water baptized, and it was a powerful

  557. encounter for me and God.

  558. And I experienced that moment where I knew

  559. God was real.

  560. And he placed his hand upon my life.

  561. And I realized that truly, and it's easy

  562. with words, but I knew that someone was

  563. greater on the inside of me than what

  564. I...

  565. I used to struggle with some areas of

  566. temptation, but when Christ came in, I had

  567. a strength in me that was not me.

  568. It was a supernatural strength.

  569. There was a different...

  570. I had a different calling, a different direction.

  571. I wanted to go different places.

  572. My mind was different.

  573. And it happened in a time for me

  574. when I was water baptized.

  575. Proverbs 29, verse 18, a powerful verse of

    Proverbs 29:18

  576. Scripture.

  577. All Scripture is powerful.

  578. Where there is no vision, it says, where

  579. there's no revelation, the people cast off restraint.

  580. But blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's

  581. instructions.

  582. You see, visions and dreams are really important.

  583. I absolutely believe that we did not...

  584. I don't believe we came into church to

  585. just...

  586. Oh, I'm just going to church this morning.

  587. See, when we come to church, I believe

  588. it's part of encountering the vision.

  589. It's encountering the call of God.

  590. It's encountering what God's doing in my life.

  591. It's encountering what God's doing in my family.

  592. It's encountering and sowing into what God's going

  593. to do in the years that lie ahead.

  594. It's not insignificant.

  595. It's not, oh, I'll just rock into church,

  596. you know, just check this out, see what

  597. it's like.

  598. No, it's a divine appointment.

  599. You're meeting with destiny.

  600. You're meeting with something really important.

  601. You're coming into the presence of God.

  602. And that faith, that sense of vision, that

  603. sense of calling is being stirred in your

  604. life, is being fed so that your week

  605. and your years and your months lie ahead

  606. are different because there's feeding of that vision.

  607. Dreams and visions are really important.

  608. Acts chapter two and verse 17.

  609. In the last days.

  610. Well, is that now?

  611. In the last days, God says, I will

  612. pour out my Spirit on all people.

  613. Your sons and daughters will prophesy.

  614. Your young men will see visions and thank

  615. God, there's a lovely, lovely verse there.

  616. And you older, wiser men.

  617. There's hope for you.

  618. There's some dreams there.

  619. Come on, you guys that are over.

  620. Don't mention ages.

  621. Very important.

  622. Dreams, visions.

  623. Are you caught up with a dream in

  624. your heart?

  625. Is there a sense of calling or are

  626. you?

  627. Yeah, come on, stir it up.

  628. It's good.

  629. No, there's a calling, there's a destiny.

  630. I just want to honour Pastor Don and

  631. Julia.

  632. See, I don't think we take them for

  633. granted.

  634. I really don't think we do.

  635. But man, to have that couple and their

  636. family and have just run with the vision.

  637. Don't take them for granted.

  638. Honour them.

  639. And I believe we do honour them.

  640. But look, to have that sort of input

  641. on our lives to stir us up, to

  642. run our race well in Roy and Denise.

  643. It's God's calling upon our lives.

  644. Their lives inspire us from their response and

  645. it inspires us to run our ways.

  646. We need that vision.

  647. We need that calling.

  648. It says that we're not to dwell carelessly.

  649. We're not to be caught up in some

  650. sort of worldly net.

  651. We're not meant to live aimlessly, drifting with

  652. the crowd without purpose.

  653. You see, a vision awakens us to life's

  654. purpose.

  655. Vision awakens us to life's purpose, to whose

  656. we are, who we belong to and the

  657. purpose that God has called us to do.

  658. Probably the greatest waste, the greatest waste, the

  659. greatest waste on earth is a life that

  660. doesn't encounter the purpose of God.

  661. You think every human being, every little baby

  662. that's born onto this planet, God's destined purpose.

  663. God's destined purpose.

  664. God's destined calling.

  665. God's destined His life to be manifest in

  666. their lives to glorify their creator and then

  667. also to be a blessing in this world,

  668. to bring life and transformation to our world.

  669. You know, the Bible says, Ephesians 2 in

  670. verse 10, it says that we are God's

  671. workmanship created in Christ Jesus.

  672. We are God's workmanship.

  673. You are not secondhand.

  674. You are not rubbish.

  675. You're God's workmanship.

  676. Make sure you look at yourself in the

  677. mirror.

  678. Do not frown.

  679. When you look at yourself in the mirror

  680. in the morning, you make sure you look

  681. at your face, John Pearson, and you make

  682. sure you say, I wish I had a

  683. BMW.

  684. I mean, I am God's workmanship created in

  685. Christ Jesus for good works.

  686. I love my face.

  687. I do not reject this.

  688. It is not perfect.

  689. It's got a few crinkles and, you know,

  690. but I love this.

  691. Make sure you speak well of yourself.

  692. Do not speak down about God's creation.

  693. You don't ever do that.

  694. You're God's workmanship.

  695. I just wanna just quickly, a couple more

  696. things.

  697. Look, you know, dreams and visions are dangerous.

  698. You know, you've really got the choice.

  699. You know, bubble wrap, cotton wool is a

  700. lot safer.

  701. You know, and some people do that.

  702. They just wanna live their life.

  703. And what's the most comfort I can get?

  704. You know, I wanna get the most comfort.

  705. What's the fluffiest bed?

  706. You know, the fluffiest socks?

  707. The sheepskin on my motorcycle seat?

  708. You know, what's the cushiest, cruisiest?

  709. What's the best meal that my wife can

  710. cook for me?

  711. I want that sort of life.

  712. I'm not gonna have a bit of ruggedness

  713. and a bit of pain.

  714. And, you know, you think of, I read

  715. this the other day with Joseph's life in

  716. the Old Testament.

  717. And Joseph, in Genesis, Joseph, Genesis 37.

  718. And it's talking about Joseph's life.

  719. And, you know, Joseph and his technicolor dream

  720. coat and his father's, you know, loving on

  721. him and giving him favoritism and all that.

  722. And you think of that 17-year-old

  723. young man, God gave a dream to him,

  724. 17.

  725. Oh, 17-year-old, they know nothing.

  726. Why would God give a dream to a

  727. 17-year-old?

  728. Apparently, our brains aren't developed until, you know,

  729. 25, 30 for some people.

  730. But God gave a dream to a 17

  731. -year-old boy.

  732. And do you know what he did with

  733. that dream?

  734. He rose up and then he broadcasted it

  735. to his world.

  736. He told his family and they did not

  737. cheer him.
