Good morning, ext church. Welcome to the fifth day of our Uton.
-
I hope you guys are doing well and uh going on strong with your commitment
-
to the Lord. Too fast to pray Now if you're new today, if
-
we have not participated now fast, I want to encourage you today to join
-
in. Really it's easy, you know, just go to our Instagram and
-
there is you know, explanation how to fast and why what's the reason for
-
fasting? I fasting our utn we started since day one of our church,
-
and He has blessed many people who those who are who participated, those who
-
have joining, and you know, people go close to the Lord. They
-
had the break shoes and they have a better clarity about what the Bible says
-
about them. And today, if you're new, I want to courage to
-
really come join us, join us to fast, join us to pray,
-
and we will end on Good Friday. We will come together to DVCC for
-
a time of praise and worship. They will be sharing of the world and
-
also sharing of people's testimony what they have caught during the twenty one days and
-
how the law came true for them. And of course that Sunday is the
-
Sunday, and i'd likely and wante you to come and join us, for
-
our is the Sunday. So today the topic that was given to me is
-
entitled the Atonement for sin. The scripture that I was asked to share is
-
Hebrews chapter nine, verse twenty two. Now let me read the scripture.
-
And according to the law, almost all things are profi with blood. That's
-
right, almost all things are profid with blood. They will profid It can
-
be. It can also mean clans. You know, as I meditate and
-
look at this future, sometimes in our journey, in our walk with the
-
Lord, or you know, if we have not known the law yet,
-
we think that the way to cleanse ourselves is just by observing good behavior.
-
How many of us really have just because that we think that we are in
-
good behavior. We don't do bad things in our life. We are clans,
-
We are guiltless, we don't have any sit in the life. But
-
the Bible here reminds us that all things are profied with the blood. So
-
good behavior cannot provide us neither than just keeping the law, or sometimes just
-
following the Bible will provide us. Yeah, so nothing can we do with
-
our own hands. Sometimes you know, giving the charity good works cannot provide
-
us. So all things are purified, our cleansed with blood. So one
-
thing we can take home is this that you and I today And it's a
-
good reminder that we need the blood of Christ. That's right, You and
-
I need the blood of Christ in our lives. Uh. You know,
-
water went cleanses us outside, but what Christ has died across cleanses us from
-
the inside out. And without it, without the shedding of blood, there
-
is no remission. You know. The word remission means to send away.
-
The words signify a release from bondage or imprisonment, dismissing, and also forgiveness.
-
That's right, forgiveness, So there is forgiveness in the blood. There
-
is forgiveness. You know, the High Priest before it entered the Holy of
-
Holies, you really, in he Wish, chapter nine, verse seven,
-
says that the High Priest went alone once a year, not without not without
-
blood, which he offered for himself and for the people sin committed it ignorance.
-
Even the High Priest before he entered the Holy of Holies is needing a
-
sacrifice, and the animal has to shed the blood. And this morning I
-
want to encourage you as you seek the Lord as to ponder upon this amazing
-
look at the cross. Let's remember that the Bible says a Roman sepretary for
-
all have sin and fallen short of the glory of God. And this morning's
-
devotion reminds us how much we need the blood, how much we need the
-
blood of Christ in our lives, so that you and I can experience His
-
forgiveness, his love, that you and I today can be reminded that God
-
is giving us a second chance through the shedding of his blood, a second
-
chance to get our life right with Him. To the shedding of blood,
-
that's rare consolation in our relationship with the Lord. So one encourage you today
-
as I bring my devotion to a close. I pray this will be a
-
star of an amazing journey for you to understand that it is important really to
-
know what Christ has done at the cross, and how much we need the
-
blood of Christ all our life to cleanse us, to cleanse our hearts.
-
In the Book of James says that cleanse your hands and profile your hearts,
-
and we can only provide our hearts really by the blood of Christ. By
-
faith. So I encourage you today to plead the blood of Christ of our
-
life, to ask God to cleanses as how in Lord's per sy, forgive
-
me of my sins. Lord, as I forgive those who trespass against me.
-
Let's pray Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray this morning
-
that we understand the importance of the blood of what You've done in the cross.
-
Father, by by our own works, we cannot be clansed by our
-
own action or attitude. We cannot be clans by just being keeping up a
-
good behavior. We cannot cleanse ourselves. It's only true the blood. It's
-
only through what you've done across and the blood that you shed Jesus for me
-
them clans from the inside out. So today I want to ask you to
-
cleanse me from the inside out. Lord, of my heart, my mind,
-
my life, forgive me of my sins. Lord Father, thank you
-
for this new life and the better understanding of the blood. And how much
-
with you and I need the Blood of Christ of all life. We thank
-
you, Lord, Father, want commit this day to hands bless us Love.
-
We pray give us wisdom and all that we need to do and to
-
remember Lord, it is you that give us a person, give us life
-
in Jesus name, and everyone say Amen, Amen, have a great day.
-
Hope to see you at Good Friday. God bless
