  1. A warm welcome to you all our listeners. My name is Lazarus and I'm

  2. from acts, Botswana. I'd like to welcome you today number twenty of our

  3. uturen Firsting and Prayer season. I want to congratulate you for making it this

  4. far, and I'm sure your life has been blessed and by now you already

  5. have many testimonies. If not, I'm confident that God has so many testimonies

  6. installed for you. Today's topic is Jesus' resurrection, and we take this from

  7. Matthew chapter twenty eight, Versus one to fifteen. The subject of the resurrection

  8. of Jesus is a beautiful one and one that sets our faith apart from many

  9. other faith that proclaims to be true. I am so glad that Jesus is

  10. alive. I'm so glad that Jesus rose up again. I'm so glad that

  11. Jesus defeated death and defeated the graaf. In Matthew chapter twenty eighth, verse

  12. one to fifteen, we see Mary Magdalene and the Other Mary visiting the tomb

  13. of Jesus after he had passed away, only to find out an angel that

  14. had descended from heaven right to earth, rolled the stone away, and set

  15. on the stone, and told the two marys that Jesus is alive, and

  16. you need not to worry. You need not to be afraid, because he

  17. is alive, our father, our savior. He is alive, and he

  18. is living. So the angel tells the two marries that Jesus is alive.

  19. And after that the angel tells the two marries that go your way, and

  20. tell his disciples that Jesus is alive. The two marries departed from the tomb

  21. on their way, and the Bible tells us with fear and great joy,

  22. for they were afraid because the of the angel they had seen was so marvelous

  23. and so glorious that it brought godly fear to them, while at the same

  24. time they were filled with great joy knowing that their savior is alive, knowing

  25. that Jesus is alive again, and they went their way. As they went

  26. towards the disciples, they met Jesus on the way. Jesus himself, Jesus

  27. in flesh, fully alive, defeated death, and the Bible tells us that

  28. the two women they worshiped him. They stopped and worshiped Jesus such a marvelous

  29. moment. It is a moment that is coming from the back end of a

  30. terrible time, when their savior had been crucified, when Jesus had been nailed

  31. on the cross, when Jesus had been killed and assassinated by the ruling a

  32. lid of the day. Yet year is a beautiful moment where their Savior is

  33. alive. The Bible tells us that they spent time worshiping Jesus at his feats,

  34. just spending time in worship because they are Savior was alive, And such

  35. a beautiful moment that you and I get to worship a God that is alive,

  36. our God, as we say it, he ain't no silver near hanging

  37. on the wall. He is real, He's living, and he's living inside

  38. of us. So the two women worship Jesus at the feet. The Bible

  39. tells us that Jesus then commanded them to go and tell his disciples that he

  40. is truly alive. He has resurrected, he has defeated death. He the

  41. tomb is empty, he is no longer bound by the shackles of death.

  42. He has let them loose. He has defeated death, and he is alive,

  43. and while they were going their way to the disciples, having encountered both

  44. the Angel and Jesus. The Bible tells us that on the other side of

  45. things, there was a meeting with the gods and the chief and the elders

  46. of the ruling elite as they come together to devise a plan to speak false

  47. news. In fact, they decided and said, we will give you money

  48. to the gods, and please tell people that the Disciples came and stole the

  49. body of Jesus. And this is the reality of the times we live in

  50. where there is so much fake news, but that can never overcome the good

  51. news. And the good news is that our Savior is alive. And I

  52. just want to give you and encourage you with just three points as we get

  53. into the devotion of today, as we look into jesus resurrection. Point number

  54. one is that our God is alive. What does that mean to say our

  55. God is alive? When we say Jesus is alive, it means that your

  56. prayer, my prayer is not falling on death ears. It means when we

  57. speak, we speak to a God who years, we speak to a God

  58. who addswers. What does it mean that Jesus is alive. When Jesus Love

  59. is alive, it means that you and I have a hope, have a

  60. future. And Jesus has paid the price for us. We no longer have

  61. to pay that price. He has paid the price for us. He has

  62. gone to the cross for us. That means though we may die in flesh

  63. on earth, we will live again as long as we are in Christ.

  64. Jesus. So, our God is alive. And I just want to encourage

  65. you no matter what you're going through, you save a God that is living.

  66. And if God can defeat death, you can defeat your sickness. If

  67. God can defeat death, you can defeat your tough times. If Jesus can

  68. rise back up from the dead, surely he can resurrect your marriage. If

  69. Jesus can defeat death, surely he can resurrect your health. He can resurrect

  70. your business, he can resurrect your career. Maybe you're feeling courage that work.

  71. I just want to challenge you that if Jesus can defeat death, surely

  72. you can overcome depression. Surely you can overcome any challenge you're facing. Because

  73. we know that it is no longer I who live as poses, but Christ

  74. that lives in me, and if Jesus lives in us, we've got power

  75. to defeat the enemy of today. And point number two is go and tell

  76. everyone, Go and tell everyone you see jesus resurrection gives us the power and

  77. the authority to go and share with everyone what it means to have a God

  78. who is alive. As we go through this year, we know the theme

  79. of the year is that all may know, and all may know that Jesus

  80. is alive. All may know that Jesus defeated death. All may know that

  81. we live in God. All may know that if Jesus is alive, you

  82. and I are alive in Christ. You and I have hope. You and

  83. I are not condemned anymore. You and I have a hope. You and

  84. I are forgiven. And go and tell everyone. I want to challenge you

  85. today as you go on with your day Number twenty of prayer and firsting,

  86. find someone to tell about Jesus. Find someone to tell her, to tell

  87. the story of Jesus. To tell somebody about how Jesus was crucified on the

  88. cross for you and I. He died on the cross so that you and

  89. I can be forgiven of our things, that you and I can have our

  90. relationship with the further restored by the act of Jesus on the cross. But

  91. don't let the story end there, because the story of Jesus ends with Jesus

  92. coming back up to life, ends with Jesus defeating death. And everybody,

  93. and I mean everybody, needs to know that Jesus is alive. Jesus says,

  94. Jesus is the only way to the Father. He is the only truth,

  95. and he is the life. No one else comes to the Father except

  96. through Jesus. Imagine if Jesus didn't come there to a lot to life,

  97. but thank God, he came back to life. And because he is alive,

  98. we can come to the Father. We will then come to the Father

  99. boldly. We can come to the Father with such great boldness, knowing that

  100. our Jesus defeated death. So tell somebody, find somebody at work, somebody

  101. at your company, somebody at home, somebody in your streets, somebody in

  102. your phone book, somebody in your family, and tell them so that all

  103. may know that Jesus is alive. Not only is he a life, but

  104. that he's waking in you and he's doing a new thing in you. Behold,

  105. he's doing a new thing in you, Isaiah says, will you not

  106. perceive it? He will even make a way where there seems to be no

  107. way. I just want to challenge your friends that today tells somebody about Jesus.

  108. Tell somebody about the testimony you hold and you have dearly about Jesus.

  109. Point number three. We read from Matthew twenty eight, between verse one to

  110. verse fifteen, that the gods were telling a different story, but the two

  111. mayors were mandated with telling the right story, which is the good news.

  112. In the age we live in, there's so much information. Many of it

  113. is fact, many of it is not true. I just want to challenge

  114. us as believers to carry the good news. Not just consume the good news,

  115. but share the good news. Not just share, but share what is

  116. true. I pray we will have boldness to speak the truth in love to

  117. our friends, our family, and everyone around us. Share the good news

  118. of Jesus Christ. Share the good news of what Jesus has done. I

  119. pray, friends, that you are encouraged. I want to leave you with

  120. a question to ponder one as you finish Day number twenty. What does it

  121. mean? When we say Jesus is alive, What does it mean to you,

  122. beloved listeners, What does it mean that Jesus is alive? Amen?

  123. Amen, Allow me Church to pray for our nation, Malaysia and believe God

  124. for revival. I truly believe that God has a plan for Malaysia. God

  125. has a plan for East West Malaysia. And I believe that the revival that

  126. is about to yeat Southeast Asia and Asia will begin in Malaysia. Let us

  127. pray Father with thank you. We thank you that you send your only bigoden

  128. son to die for us. We thank you that your son defeated death.

  129. We thank you Lord that by your power Jesus is alive again. We are

  130. so grateful that we say a living God, and because of our Jesus is

  131. alive. The same power that brought Jesus to life is the same power that

  132. is within us. For after all, in next chapter one, verse eight,

  133. you say it to us, you shall receive power when the holy spiritual

  134. has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses Judea, Jerusalem and

  135. all the ends of earth. And I pray Lord that your people will have

  136. power and exercise power to ignite and spread revival in Malaysia. Lord, we

  137. bless this nation. We pray for the brody of the Body of Christ in

  138. Malaysia, that it will come together as one and be used by God for

  139. revival. Lord, we pray for salvations in numbers and not just servations.

  140. But we pray for sons as well. In the name of Jesus. For

  141. that we pray that will have disciples, will stand for what is true,

  142. will stand for what is right, will stand for what is godly. Because

  143. revival, Lord will come when signs are revealed, when signs rise up.

  144. I pray in the name of Jesus, that Lord, there will be the

  145. fear of God in the corridors of governance in Malaysia. There will be fear

  146. of God in every street. And I pray that Lord, You'll use the

  147. sons and daughter's Lord to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to bring revival in

  148. the nation. I speak unity in the nation, unity in the Body of

  149. Christ, Unity in the government, Unity among the tribes and races of Malaysia.

  150. Unity from East South Malaysia, unity from a lost attire to Joho,

  151. unity in every state. In the name of Jesus, send your revival,

  152. Send your power, send your holygos fire. Let your power and fire fall

  153. upon Malaysia in the name of Jesus. Use us as your servants for your

  154. glory and for your glory alone. In Jesus' mighty name. I pray and

  155. everyone say Amen. Amen. Our dear listeners, thank you so much for

  156. listening to this podcast, and I pray you have been encouraged. May your

  157. day twenty be nothing short of supernatural and spirit filled. Thank you for listening,
