  1. Yes, you don't work for your salvation, but you work

  2. your faith and then you see your faith grow. I

  3. prayer that you don't have the same faithor that you had,

  4. you know, twenty years ago, but that he's grown. Be

  5. where God has meant you to be, and receive what

  6. God wants you to receive, and use that and live

  7. it out. All of you got faith? What kind of

  8. faith do you have? And that faith, like a seed,

  9. has to be cast to the ground. Faith is your

  10. faith alive? Is your faith living? Is your faith being sold?

  11. Or is it in your pocket? Is your faith alive?

  12. For James two twenty six says for as the body

  13. without a spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead. Also,

  14. this is the word of the law. That means uh.

  15. The writer of the Book of James is telling us

  16. that faith is like the body and works. It's like

  17. the spirit. Because body without spirit is dead. So faith

  18. without works is also dead. So the works that we do,

  19. the sowing of that seed, is the one that actually

  20. brings life to your faith. Are you working your faith?

  21. It's the next slighte everybody? Are you working your faith?

  22. Why did God allow you to go through trouble this

  23. last week?

  24. There's the reason I'm telling you.

  25. A lot of us go through problems, challenges, trouble, you know,

  26. maybe a medical report that you was surprising to you.

  27. You go like why God, and then you realize God

  28. wants you and I to work our faith.

  29. Is not to punish us.

  30. God loves us too much, but he gives us opportunities

  31. that often look like opposite.

  32. I'm gonna say it again.

  33. God gives us opportunities that often looks like obstacles to us.

  34. But actually, if we see true God's eyes in his opportunity,

  35. somebody say, man opportunities for what to work our faith

  36. to sow that seed so he no longer remains a seed,

  37. but it becomes a tree of life. You don't even

  38. know what you will achieve by trusting a lot today

  39. and by putting your faith in him.

  40. You don't know. You don't.

  41. You haven't yet seen the eleven nations. You haven't even

  42. seen the fifty churches. You haven't even seen the souls

  43. that will be saved. You haven't seen you know, the

  44. young people that will lead churches and become great church

  45. plank coordinators and you know, great worship leaders.

  46. You haven't seen the opportunity.

  47. My word, you know so much in stam So are

  48. you working your faith? Next, Slight says faith works. When

  49. we work faith, faith works. My faith doesn't work. No,

  50. I've been a Christian idea no, for twelve years and

  51. I haven't seen any miracle. You gotta work it. Yes,

  52. you don't work for your salvation, but you work your

  53. faith and then you see your faith grow. I pray

  54. that you don't have the same faithor that you had,

  55. you know, twenty years ago, but that it's grown.

  56. It has to grow with me. Otherwise you'd be a

  57. very stunted Christian.

  58. And we know no, when we see somebody here, huh

  59. he's thirty years old at his dead size or that height, you.

  60. Know that something went wrong with it somewhere.

  61. But sometimes we can't see that in a Christian because

  62. the Christian looks all normal on the outside, but inside

  63. you could be so stunted.

  64. You could be a midget. And that's not totally wrong.

  65. No, thank God for them, you love them anyway, but

  66. you know that it's not normal. And yet we don't

  67. see that in the mirror. We don't look in the

  68. mirror and go oh, you know, wow, hey midia no,

  69. my faith. You don't see that. If something is wrong,

  70. I'm not growing. And then we blame it on the messages,

  71. we blame it on the church. Hello, it's what you have.

  72. You know.

  73. One of the most powerful stories I've ever heard in

  74. my life as a preacher. I went to a church

  75. to preach twenty people, maybe twenty five at the most.

  76. And it was in the house. I had to pick

  77. up my shoes and I was preaching there. And after

  78. I finished, I ran a fellowship with them around the table.

  79. And there was an old lady maybe at that time,

  80. she was sixty eight or seventy. And this was how

  81. many years ago, probably about twenty eight twenty nine years ago.

  82. This is about the same year I got married. I

  83. got invited.

  84. Twenty five people. You know. He asked me to preach

  85. on a Sunday.

  86. And the lady smiled at me, and I looked at

  87. her and I said, Hi, auntie, how are you fine?

  88. Young man?

  89. You remind me a lot of a preacher that through

  90. his preaching I got saved.

  91. I said, oh, who is that?

  92. You remind me a lot of John Sung, not the

  93. Johnson we have in Sumangaya.

  94. Johnson is a revivalist. And those of you who know

  95. him will know him. You otherwise can read about him.

  96. You remind me a lot about Johnson, said, Oh you

  97. know john soone she said, when I was twelve, Johnson

  98. preached one message and it was in a Methodist boys'

  99. school area in care and it was a rally, and

  100. she said, I got saved. John Sum spoke about love.

  101. But she didn't tell me that. She didn't tell me

  102. that he spoke about love. I found out from another

  103. older lady in Binang that also was saved under Johnson's ministry,

  104. and she said, Johnson always preaches the love of God. Okay,

  105. So anyway, she said, you remind me a lot about him.

  106. I said, it's a great man. He said, yeah, yeah,

  107. you know, got used to him and I got saved

  108. at twelve. I only heard one message, one message. I

  109. told you this already many years before, but I can

  110. tell you again very quickly. This is now summarized worship.

  111. When I went home, I told my dad that I

  112. received Christ. My dad says, you go upstairs, you come

  113. down again. You you tell me that you've changed your mind,

  114. otherwise you will live with the servants from tomorrow onwards.

  115. So this lady has got bodyguards, servants. Their house used

  116. to be next to the Australian Embassy. The whole piece

  117. of land next Australi Embassy belonged to them where Public

  118. Bank is now it belonged to them.

  119. The family.

  120. So every child has a car and a driver, and

  121. a bodyguard and a servant, one servant for one child.

  122. I don't know how rich this guy was, but it was,

  123. you know, during the timer. And he said, you must

  124. be kidding. Don't ever tell me in this house that

  125. you accept the Christ. You come down, you tell me

  126. that you were kidding. So she came down for dinner

  127. and she said, so, what's your decision? I gave my

  128. life to Christ. Go up, pat your bags, move to

  129. the servants quarters. She stayed there for about four years. Father,

  130. do you want to look at her at all until

  131. she repents? Four yes, So from steak and all this

  132. beautiful food, she was eating servants food and she was

  133. telling me he.

  134. Said, yeah, it was porrage, simple porrage.

  135. And then we took the the the ima say, the

  136. salted fish. Then we just dip it and suck. You know,

  137. my father's house just in front, this is the seven carts.

  138. My father wanted to teach me a lesson because I

  139. didn't repent. I couldn't go to church. One message. A

  140. lot of us complain about messages are not being fed

  141. out of one message.

  142. It's all about how many messages are. It's about what

  143. you do.

  144. With a message. One message. One message. She held on

  145. to Christ, no Bible, nothing, She prayed every day, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  146. That's why we never take messages easily. This I like,

  147. simply because one message can change people's lives forever. So

  148. he sold her off. He sold his own daughter to

  149. the fishmonger. Fishmonger came and collected the daughter on a bicycle,

  150. and at sixteen years old, she got her first child,

  151. and all together about three children. The husband was a drunkard,

  152. and he slept with other women, and so she was

  153. the guy left the home and went with the women.

  154. And so this lady young and had three children. She

  155. was washing other people's clothes this story. And she's telling me,

  156. I don't know what to do with it. No, I

  157. was like, I soho was? My eyes were welling up

  158. with tears. But she's telling me, we're a smile. And

  159. then I washed other people's clothes, and then I put

  160. all my three children to school. God is so good.

  161. God is so good. Got one message? Is what you

  162. do with the message? She says, I've stayed in this

  163. church for forty years. Now they've come and gone, come

  164. and gone, split the church, split, the split church plate.

  165. But I said, until this church is I mean, it's

  166. been bigger before.

  167. Yeah.

  168. I know.

  169. We went to forty and then we went back to twenty.

  170. We keep splitting, but I will continue to be faithful

  171. to God. God never told me to move, so I

  172. won't move. So her husband had cancer, came back and

  173. knock on the door. Please receive me back. I have

  174. no one to take care of me.

  175. She's there.

  176. This man left to take care of two children, and

  177. she's there one messager. She still hasn't been to church yet.

  178. Know her husband is all allowed her to go. She

  179. opens the door and she says, come in. I said,

  180. why you do that? Jesus said, forgive.

  181. I mean.

  182. One message. You either live it or you don't. Some

  183. people are preaching, but living it is different now. No one,

  184. no one to take care of my husband or And

  185. Jesus said, forgive. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yea, what can

  186. you do it? One message?

  187. H A lot? Apparently a lot. I was so privileged

  188. I was.

  189. I don't know, but if I was one of the

  190. only guys who have had the privilege of because I

  191. sat there for an hour to listen to her, and

  192. she said, then my husband, I nursed him and nursed

  193. him and nurs him, and nursing took care of him.

  194. I had to wash it. He was, he was bit

  195. ridden after a while, as to watch his body. The

  196. same guy that stepped with all these other women and

  197. left her family and left her to wash other people's clothes.

  198. You know, she's washing his body. Now, forgive him, forgive him.

  199. It's okay, Jesus said, forgive simple Faivor.

  200. He died.

  201. The day he died, he accepted the Lord. She said,

  202. I let my husband de cries this wiling. So I

  203. said to my wife and I went home.

  204. I said. She reminded me of the two te bird's grandmother.

  205. You know the Thibert has a granddad and not lie

  206. every time. She said, my son one is a lawyer,

  207. wants a doctor, and you know that one is an engineer.

  208. They all that she's washing clothes to put the children

  209. to school, and the Lord bless all her children. I say,

  210. Heaven Day invited you to go overseas to stay with them. No,

  211. God never told me to leave Malaysia. God never told

  212. me to leave this small church. You know this one message,

  213. it's what we do. What's your faith based on? Says

  214. the next line. Well, the word of God says in

  215. First Coningtians two four to five. And my speech, this

  216. is Paul writing this. My speech and my preaching were

  217. not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration

  218. of the spirit and of power, that your faith should

  219. not be in the wisdom of men, but in the

  220. power of God. What is your faith based on? Just

  221. another preacher? You know we follow people on YouTube, you know.

  222. You know I think during a pandemic, there's a lady

  223. who told me I can I can attend five different

  224. messages on Sunday in five different judges.

  225. I look at that and smile.

  226. I said, sister, it's one thing about listening to all

  227. these good messages. There is another thing about living it.

  228. I gave a warning to this church many years ago.

  229. I said, God will always hold us accountable for what

  230. we've heard. That's why I say Please don't jump from

  231. just a church, because if you are loyal to one church,

  232. you will hear the message God wants you here. But

  233. if you keep jumping, then you will have to be

  234. accountable for that which you heard. So if God only

  235. wanted to use you hear B is because he knew

  236. that you can only hand up B this month. But

  237. if you read it, hurt me A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I,

  238. j K, and p are you with me? You can

  239. only hand up B. But now he's saying you hurd a.

  240. What are you doing about it? Oh God, it was.

  241. Just a nice message. No way, no way.

  242. He's gonna hold us all accountable for the things we heard.

  243. So I'm telling you right now, Oh boy, it's only

  244. for knowledging. No no on. Please, That's why I love

  245. us A knowledge puffs up. Be very careful, be where

  246. God has meant you to be, and receive what God

  247. wants you to receive, and use that and live it out.

  248. And then you say, God, you gave me A. I

  249. did A.

  250. God you gave me B. I did be amen, Because

  251. God is going to hold us all accountable. So I

  252. know I put some fear of the law into my church,

  253. because I'm said, puzzle, you're just so you do orders

  254. are listen to no, no, no no. If you're gonna listen,

  255. go and listen. But take account. That's what I am

  256. I saying to You're gotta listen to five messages. Take

  257. account for all five and say, God, nowaday you give

  258. me all five. I was so blessed by all five.

  259. I'm gonna do something about it. Otherwise, please be very

  260. fearful in handling God's word. Okay, So what's your faith

  261. based on, not just on the word, but on the

  262. power of God? Is your faith on fire? Let's let's

  263. finish this last lap. Is your faith on fire? Matthew three,

  264. verse eleven. I indeed baptize you with water until repentance,

  265. said John the Baptist. But he who is coming after

  266. me is mighty than I who send us. I'm not

  267. worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy

  268. Spirit and fire and fire. The Greek word for the

  269. word fire is poor. P you are. It's not a

  270. short form of poor, is just poor, and poor means lightning.

  271. It means a lot of other things when you when

  272. you look up poor. In the Greek it says energy

  273. it says strength, it says power. But one word that

  274. really caught my attention was poor is also lightning, and God,

  275. Jesus Christ is gonna come and baptize you and I

  276. with lightning. Lightning is pure power. I hope none if

  277. you get struck by it. But I am told there's

  278. just pure electricity. There's nothing, there's nothing adulterated, there's no mixture,

  279. and it's just.

  280. Lightning is lightning is pure power.

  281. I might not want to get struck by physical lightning,

  282. but I want to get struck by spiritual lightning because

  283. He can baptize you with poor.

  284. Do you want this, ladies and german prises, do you

  285. want this? You want?

  286. You want the lightning poor of God because some of

  287. us are dragging our feet to church and dragging our

  288. feet to witness in school. And you know, but when

  289. you are on poorer you can see it. You can

  290. see when your faith is on fire when you are lightning.

  291. And don't despise lightning. Don'tly spice lightning, because as there's

  292. a scripture that says, as the lightning goes from the

  293. east to the west, so will the sun of men come.

  294. And I love that scripture because in these last days,

  295. I'm seeing more and more revival is coming from the

  296. East to the west. In the last see the early

  297. days the west send missionaries, when the last days the east.

  298. And so I take it to interpreter that as the

  299. lightning goes flashes from the east to the west. You

  300. can see it scripture in the Bible. So will the

  301. coming of the Sun of men be, So he will

  302. come like a lightning. And this lightning, this power, this

  303. anointing that will break the yoke, is going to come

  304. from the east. If you believe it, say amen. So

  305. that's why I got us raising up many from the east.

  306. It is now out turn.

  307. And now time is called reverse missionary adventure because everything

  308. came of the west before. Now the East is rising up.

  309. And in these last days the lightning is going to

  310. come from the East to the west.

  311. Amen.

  312. The west is going to see wow. Because why we Asians,

  313. and we from the East. You know, when we believe

  314. in something, we really believe in it and we give

  315. our lives to it. And for too long we've been

  316. under the shadows. But now we're going to shine for Jesus.

  317. Can I hear good?

  318. Amen? Okay, as we draw to a close How is

  319. lightning created.

  320. Lightning is created by violent collision between high and low,

  321. hot and coal, positive and negative charges in the thunderclouds.

  322. So I want to encourage you because I don't have time.

  323. I hope you understand this. I hope you understand that

  324. when you are low, he's high. And the way to

  325. do it is not to give up when you're law,

  326. not to give in when you're law, not to surrender

  327. when your law, but to come.

  328. Before the Lord and have a violent collision with him

  329. in prayer. Let the call. Are you called?

  330. Are you calling your faith? Are you calling your walk

  331. with God? Well, he's always hot. God is always on fire.

  332. He in the Bible, in Hebrews, I think it's chapter thirteen.

  333. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but it's somewhere

  334. in twelve and thirteen. I think it's thirteen. He says

  335. that God is all consuming fire. He is fire, and

  336. so he's always hot. And so if you're ever calling

  337. your faith, come and have a violent collision with the Lord,

  338. even if you're the first. Sometimes I look at fasting

  339. as a violent collision because you mean business with God.

  340. You mean business with God. You want to say God,

  341. you know and and and it happens.

  342. The high means the low, the cold means the heart,

  343. and the negative means the positive because God is always positive. However,

  344. you know that the cross is the symbol of positiveness.

  345. Just by looking at the cross, you see plus because

  346. He's always plus. You have Jesus in your life, you

  347. will always have a plus everybody. Okay, there will always

  348. be a plus in your life. When Jesus is there.

  349. You will always remain positive because the Cross is positive.

  350. And so our negativism. You know a lot of us

  351. are very negative in this life. Okay, Malaysia, can Diana,

  352. you know your examin you know coming on Monday, I

  353. should Diona. We are so negative, right, and negativism is

  354. filling the earth and filling our hearts and feeling our minds,

  355. and so we need to come for a violent collision

  356. with the God of all positives. Can I hear a

  357. good amen? So today, before I close, I want to say,

  358. get ready for a violent collision with God. Don't do

  359. it on your own, don't do it in isolation. Don't say,

  360. oh you know, I feel so down, I'm depressed. Let

  361. depression meet the dinamism of God and thunderclouds and lightning

  362. will be created. So the Lord said to him, next

  363. slight says, what is that in your hand? This is

  364. a Moses story. Moses had a rod in his hand.

  365. He said, a rod, and he said, cast it on

  366. the ground. Today, the Lord's gonna ask you what's in

  367. your hand? All of you got faith? What kind of

  368. faith do you have? And that face, like a seat,

  369. has to be cast to the ground. It has to

  370. be cast to the ground. But watch when a lifeless

  371. rod falls to the ground, just like your seat falls

  372. to the ground. It it turns into something alive. And

  373. then it turns to something alive. Whoa, But you gotta

  374. cast it to ground. You got to cast your faith

  375. to the ground. You gotta cast your seed to the ground.

  376. Let it die, because when he dies, it comes alive.

  377. Now in the same chapter Exodus four, I love this.

  378. After he cast to the ground, it turned to a serpent.

  379. Of course you know the story. He picked it up

  380. by the tale. It turned into rod again, that was

  381. Moses rod. But the next slide tells you in Exodus

  382. for same chapter. Now the Lord said to Moses Immedian,

  383. go return to Egypt for all the men who sought

  384. your life are dead. Then Moses took his wife his

  385. sons and set them on a donkey that he returned

  386. to the land of Egypt. And listen, ladies and gentlemen,

  387. the rod that used to be called the rod of

  388. Moses is now called the rod of God. And so

  389. today I'm believing with all my heart that there can

  390. be as the next slight says, a great exchange. A

  391. great exchange you when you give your lod to God,

  392. when you give your seed to God, when you give

  393. your problem to God, when you give your troubles to God,

  394. when you give your worries to God, when you give

  395. your sickness and your your medical results to God. I'm

  396. telling you right now is no longer just your medical report.

  397. It becomes God's medical report. It doesn't become only your trouble,

  398. your problem, your wordy becomes God's worry.

  399. And however, you know that God doesn't worry. So same word,

  400. but now it's called the word of God.

  401. When you walk out of here, it will be called

  402. the worthy of God, will be called the problem of God.

  403. If you call God's problem it because God's trouble. Are

  404. you with me?

  405. That enemy, that that that fights you and wants to

  406. bring you down. Is now God's enemy? And how do

  407. you know that God will always overcome all these enemies.

  408. I want you to walk out and say, yes, there

  409. is going to happen a great exchange in this room.

  410. Remember the five flows and two fish. The five flows

  411. and two fish is a boy. Listen now, and listener,

  412. I'm about to pray. A boy, a young boy, no name,

  413. He wasn't given a name. A lad had five lows

  414. and two fish, A lad simple in this room. My

  415. eyes are closed now because I'm getting ready to pray

  416. in this room. That you could feel like a no name,

  417. You could feel like someone not important. You could feel

  418. like you know, nobody knows me. But there was a

  419. no name young lad who gave up his five blows

  420. and two fish.

  421. What do you do? He casts his five blows and

  422. two fish to the ground like the seed that was

  423. no use in his pocket.

  424. You said, yeah, two fish. He could have eaten it

  425. for lunch, that's all. He would have had your money

  426. in your pocket lunchtime.

  427. That's all. If that's all, then that's all.

  428. If you're happy with that, you know, providing for yourself,

  429. for your family and you're happy with that, then that's all.

  430. That's all.

  431. That's all you were ever experienced five loads two fish

  432. to feed a young boy for a day, Ah, that's

  433. all he were experienced. But that young boy, by faith,

  434. decided to surrender and to cast down his five loaves

  435. and two fish, and Jesus took it. I said, Jesus

  436. took it, and he no longer was the boys five

  437. lows and two fish. It was now in Jesus' hands.

  438. It was Jesus, five lows and two fish. He looked

  439. up to heaven and he broke the bread, and he

  440. gave thanks to God. And he said to his disciples,

  441. now feed the five thousand. And they fed every single person,

  442. with remainder left over in twelve baskets. Because God is

  443. a God of abundance.

  444. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
