  1. You're listening to an ex church podcast. We hope this

  2. message will light up your ding.

  3. We're gonna look into.

  4. The event where the four Lepers walked by faith into

  5. the enemy's camp because where they were they had very

  6. little hope of survival. There was hopelessness in the camp

  7. of Israel and there was no food. And they said,

  8. you know, if we remain here, we will die for sure,

  9. and if we go to the enemy's camp, we might

  10. also die. But there's a fifty to fifty to fifty

  11. chance that we might live if they accept us. I

  12. just sense when I was preparing for this retreat that

  13. the Law was saying, go by the way of the

  14. four Leapers, and I just caught that in my spirit,

  15. go by the way of four Lepers. I caught that

  16. my spirit, and I just went back into the scripture

  17. and read the scripture again. And what does God mean

  18. when He's saying to us here, our strong men and

  19. strong women who are here. What does God mean when

  20. he says, I want you to go by the way

  21. of the four Lepers. I believe God is asking us

  22. all to move forward. I'm quite sure if I sat

  23. down with some of you, if not all of you,

  24. you will have some discouraging stories to tell me of

  25. how people are not listening. People are wanting their own way,

  26. people are wanting to give up, people are wanting to

  27. step down. People are you know, tired, people are burnt out,

  28. people are you know all.

  29. These kind of things.

  30. I'm sure all of you will have something to say

  31. about that. And sometimes it does get us down.

  32. A little bit. You know, people do want to move right.

  33. So it seems like it's a situation where the four

  34. lepers were sitting at the gate in Israel and really

  35. just being filled with hopelessness, and God is like saying

  36. to us, if we just sit here and remain here,

  37. moping and said and discourage, we will definitely die. So

  38. the only way is to move forward, and it's to

  39. move forward, even if it is moving forward into the

  40. enemy's camp, even if it's moving forward to the marketplace

  41. where our faith is the minority, where there is possibly

  42. no immediate and obvious encouragement that comes.

  43. From the church.

  44. It should come from the church, actually, but sometimes there

  45. is lack of encouragement that comes from the church, and

  46. there's more discouragement. And if we continue sit here this

  47. way and accept this news, we will. We will die

  48. spiritually and emotionally. Know our strength will deplete, our passion

  49. to serve the Lord. We'll go out the window. We

  50. ourselves will start to take breaks that might or might

  51. not lead to healing. Breaks are quite dangerous at Gulino.

  52. If you break in the Lord, you're gonna come out refresh.

  53. If you break away from the Lord, that's where we

  54. are trouble. So we have to be careful about our

  55. leaders asking for breaks, because sometimes it's break from the Lord,

  56. not break for the Lord. So be careful of the breaks,

  57. because I tell you what, if we are breaking in

  58. the Lord, even an hour in his presence is enough.

  59. It's not necessarily have.

  60. To go far away, because you can go to two

  61. thousand kilometers away and still be tired and not just

  62. tie it outside physical tiredness. I told you yesday, I'm

  63. not worried. I'm worried about physical, spiritual, and emotional highness.

  64. But you know that no one else can minister to you.

  65. Accept the Lord, because the joy of the Lord is

  66. our strengths, et cetera.

  67. You know the word.

  68. However, you know that David's men were all against him

  69. at one time, but he strengthened himself in the Lord.

  70. In the Lord.

  71. We have to find a way to learn to strengthen

  72. ourselves in the Lord. But these were the four men,

  73. their own leopards, you know, and they had their own shortcomings.

  74. We have our own short comings, and there are days

  75. where we even think that we are not good enough.

  76. Have you ever come to that place wherever you feel like,

  77. am I good enough? Am I good enough for this?

  78. And you hear all these problems, and then you think

  79. it's your fault? Am I leading well enough? Should I

  80. be in this position? Should I be leading? Continually? You

  81. want to give up this position of maybe someone else better,

  82. you know, And because you look around, you don't.

  83. See any real solutions.

  84. You don't see any moving of hearts that bring out encouragement,

  85. more discouragement, and more bad news. And so you know,

  86. the lepers also had a lot of limitations, you know,

  87. they had lost limbs, lost fingers. You know, it's just

  88. when you look at them, they don't look like anything

  89. worth talking about. And sometimes when we look in the mirror,

  90. we also find, you know, the enemy not just whispering

  91. into our ear, He's shouting into our ear. Are you

  92. sure you are capable. Are you sure you have what

  93. it takes, you know? And there are days like that.

  94. But the Lord when he said to me this season,

  95. this time that we're living in, go by the way

  96. of the four Lepers, I just want to speak that

  97. to you, and we want to learn from them. So

  98. here we go, Second King seven three to nine, Second

  99. Kings seven three to nine. Now there were four lepers

  100. men at the entrance of the gate, and they say

  101. to one another, why are we sitting here until we die?

  102. If we say, we will enter the city. The famine

  103. is in the city, meaning you know where the Israelites were,

  104. and we shall die there. And if we sit here,

  105. we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to

  106. the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive,

  107. we shall live. If they kill us, we shall only die.

  108. And they arose at twilight to go to the camp

  109. of the Syrians. And when they had come to the

  110. outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise, I want

  111. to tell you right now in Jesus' name that we

  112. are in for a surprise if we continue to walk

  113. by faith, God has a surprise for us waiting. And

  114. you know that our God is good, So some surprises

  115. are bad. Surprise, Oh no, but God is such a

  116. good God. He only gives us who obey, who live

  117. by faith. He has only good surprises for us. So

  118. to their surprise, no one was there. For the Lord

  119. had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the

  120. noise of chariots and the noise of horses, the noise

  121. of a great army. So they said to another, look,

  122. the King of Israel has hired against the kings against us,

  123. the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egyptians,

  124. who attack us. Therefore they arose and fled at twilight,

  125. and left the camp intact, their tents, their horses, and

  126. their donkeys.

  127. So I told you what yesterday.

  128. We are living in the days of plenty seven years

  129. of plenty, right, and this scripture tells us there's plenty

  130. waiting for us. But we've got to walk and take

  131. that ground. We've got to walk by faith. Because where

  132. we are previous to this as pure retreat, some of

  133. us were in the land of lack. Not enough people

  134. to serve la, not enough musicians, LA, not enough homes leaders, lah.

  135. You know, slack everywhere you look. And you feel like

  136. if we continue going like this are everybody will burn out.

  137. But just look at how the fall le persons men

  138. are speaking. We go back to our city full of discouragement. Right,

  139. we'll die. We sit here, do nothing? Also die? Okay,

  140. let's walk, let's move forward, and I'll tell you what

  141. I want to prophesy again. There will be a surprise

  142. waiting for us. And you know there was plenty. They

  143. left their tents, their horses, their donkeys, and they fled

  144. for their lives. When these lepers came to the outskirts

  145. of the camp, they went into one tent and ate

  146. wow abundance, and drank carried from its silver and gold.

  147. In Jesus' name, I prayed, you know, the Lord will

  148. go to you a prosper ax, that we will always

  149. have more than enough to do his will and his

  150. work and clothing, and went and hit them. Then they

  151. came back and entered another tent and carried some from

  152. there also and went and hid it. Then they say

  153. to one another another, we are not doing right.

  154. Wow.

  155. Suddenly, you know, revelation came upon them. They're not doing

  156. or acting right. This day is a day of good news,

  157. and we remain silent. Leaders, we cannot anymore remain silent.

  158. Right this day I want to declare the day of

  159. good news. So we talked about the seven areas. Right

  160. in the next seven years, eyes must see, ears must hear,

  161. mouth must speak, heart must be revived. Right, we still

  162. talked about mind must be renewed. We talked about hands

  163. must be recommissioned, and feet must be directed. It's not

  164. time to be silent anymore, right, Leaders, speak into your situation.

  165. Confess you know Romans four seventeen. Remember this one God

  166. who gives life to the dead and calls those things

  167. that do not exist as though they did.

  168. We've got to be.

  169. More like God, less of ourselves, more like him. He

  170. speaks life into dead things. He calls things that do

  171. not exist.

  172. Call forth.

  173. I'm calling forth right now, the eight fifteen service. I'm

  174. calling forth. People are still wondering. How is it going

  175. to be done now? I think Daniel chum say he

  176. will help me out. But I think that just a

  177. couple of days ago, he confessed, passenger, he really doesn't

  178. know what to do. It's okay because your past is

  179. just confessing. He's calling fourth eight fifteen. And when I

  180. call all fourth eight fifteen. I will also call forth

  181. the workers.

  182. Amen.

  183. This is living the life of faith and living like

  184. how God lives. God is like that. We are made

  185. in this image. We should be like that too, Amen.

  186. So don't remain silent. If we wait until morning light,

  187. some punishment will come upon us. They have the you

  188. know when someone can say if we can do you

  189. do this, and some punishment come upon you. You know what

  190. they're saying. We have the fear of God. The fear

  191. of God is upon us. Don't mind, mind, don't play play, Okay,

  192. we fear God that we don't want punishment goes way.

  193. We need to do what's right now. Therefore, come let

  194. us go and tell the king's household. All right, How

  195. is this story so similar to our situation today? Well,

  196. I explained that to you earlier. But the next light says,

  197. do what is right, no matter what time it is.

  198. There is never a wrong time to do what's right.

  199. Even when you don't have the workers. Do what's right,

  200. even when you have people saying I burn out, do

  201. what's right. Even when you say you have people saying

  202. I don't believe in the vision of ACX anymore, you

  203. do what's right, amen, because two wrongs don't make one right.

  204. So you don't just follow suit and say oh yeah lah.

  205. I also actually a half half believed the vision. I

  206. can understand how you feel. Don't talk you talk like that.

  207. Then you know, well, it's just not the way we

  208. talk about, just not the way sons and daughters and

  209. strong men and women of God who have been with

  210. me for so many years.

  211. Now, that's not the way we talk.

  212. It sounds like, you know, it's very reasonable, and it

  213. sounds like the new modern way of talking.

  214. You know, I understand you, you understand me. But really that's

  215. very natural.

  216. But the supernatural way is to do it differently, do

  217. it right, no matter what time it is.

  218. So I give you three quick points. They thought right.

  219. It's very important to renew our minds and think right,

  220. because when you can think right, you will talk right.

  221. You will speak what you know is true.

  222. And many times I hear complaints and I hear murmurings.

  223. But nineteen nine percent of the time is not true.

  224. I told you before, and I'll tell you again the

  225. difference between fact and truth. The fact is I'm used

  226. the example. I use example. The fact is maybe when

  227. I came in this morning. When I walked in here

  228. and you were all here. The fact is maybe I

  229. didn't say good morning to all of you. Now you

  230. use that fact and you say that Pastor Kenneth doesn't

  231. care for us. So once you make a statement that

  232. Pastor Kenna doesn't care for us, that becomes a lie

  233. because you are now using a fact to determine the truth.

  234. So there are too many people going around the fact

  235. is correct. You didn't smile at them. You forgot to

  236. shake their hands. The fact, and so a lot of

  237. people go around talking facts, but determining truth from the fact.

  238. And if it's really not true, it's just a fact,

  239. but it's not true, then you have just spoken a lie.

  240. And so there are many lines going around, and then

  241. some people leave church or leave ministry because of that life.

  242. So I see.

  243. People sitting around at a coffee table talking facts. Yeah

  244. he's yeah, he's yeah, he also did that to me, yeah,

  245. you know, and they conclude therefore, not that the fact

  246. is right, but they conclude that therefore it must be

  247. he is like this, she is like that. And I

  248. wanted to be very careful by that, because the devil

  249. is the father of lives, and he will encourage us

  250. to live that life. I'm also very careful when I

  251. read newspaper or whatever it is, that the fact is

  252. maybe one MDB happened or whatever it is right, But

  253. I don't know whether we can be the judge of

  254. this man and his wife being exactly how you judge

  255. them to be. This is why we need to be careful.

  256. The fact doesn't naturally mean the truth of that person's character.

  257. I don't think you want to go around hearing about you,

  258. hearing people talk about you just because you forgot to

  259. send them a Christmas giver, and suddenly you become someone

  260. who is you know, and then he goes around the

  261. story that goes around. It's not just the fact that

  262. the story goes around what they think is true, which

  263. is you don't care enough because you didn't send them

  264. a Christmas gift. Then suddenly you become an uncaring leader

  265. just based on one fact, and a lot of people

  266. like to, you know, verify and vindicate and you know,

  267. sit down.

  268. So this is very very important.

  269. You must, in your own heart believe that this is wisdom,

  270. wisdom to say, yeah, I saw the fact, I saw

  271. the fact, but I rather give the person a benefit

  272. of doubt. Yes I saw that fact, yes correct, yeah, yeah,

  273. he also did that to me, you know, but you

  274. go like, but maybe he had a bad day. Nobody

  275. wants to do that and correct help each other out,

  276. give its benefit. We immediately try to turn the fact

  277. into a truth.

  278. So this is very very important.

  279. We need to think right before we can talk right

  280. and finally tread right. Okay, shread means walk, So the

  281. walk actually is not automatically by itself. The walk is

  282. determined by your talk, and your talk is determined by

  283. your thoughts. That's why they always say walk the talk right.

  284. So he's very very important. And I pray that all

  285. of us will live in the truth, not just by facts,

  286. but truth, because it's not facts that seta three, is

  287. truth that setath three?

  288. All right?

  289. Luke seventeen child to fourteen. Luke seventeen chwelve to fourteen.

  290. Then as he entered a certain village, Jesus entered a

  291. certain village that met him ten men who were lepers,

  292. who stood afar off, and they lifted up their voices

  293. and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us, have mercy

  294. on us. So when Jesus saw them, all the ten lepers.

  295. He said to them, go show yourselves to the priests.

  296. And so it was as they went that they were cleansed.

  297. I love this scripture so much because it was as

  298. they went that they were cleansed.

  299. And God in this morning is this wanting to remind us?

  300. Keep walking, Walk according to your faith, according to your belief,

  301. not according to what other people are saying around you.

  302. Keep walking.

  303. The father, remember of that daughter who was dying, was

  304. stopped in his tracks by people who came to meet

  305. him to say, don't bother the master anymore.

  306. Your daughter is dead. He stopped.

  307. And many of us because of bad news stop, But

  308. maybe your miracles just around the corner. Keep walking. So

  309. Jesus just said this, do not be afraid. Just believe,

  310. keep on believing. See you either believe it or you don't.

  311. There's no half half. Don't stop, leaders, don't stop because

  312. people are looking at you, watching you, and you and

  313. I are to be examples role models and encouragement and

  314. inspiration to them. And then they are looking at us

  315. that they're watching us. Yeah, they're listening to our voice,

  316. our of because the sheep knows the shepherd's voice.

  317. They're listening.

  318. So if a shepherd's voice is negative, then they will

  319. only hear negative.

  320. With the shepherd's voice is positive. Positive meaning what.

  321. The word of God, the word of God, the word

  322. of God. I don't feel it, but the word of

  323. God says it. I don't feel it, but the word

  324. of God says it. So I speak what God says.

  325. I agree with God. I agree with him. That's powerful.

  326. No agreement, I think sin. Another definition of sin is

  327. to disagree with God. God says can, you say cannot

  328. that sin? God says go, You say stay. God says bill,

  329. you say kill. God says love, You say hey. And

  330. when we start disagree with God's word, that's when sin happens.

  331. But sin is removed when you know, when we come

  332. to know the Lord, we start to into agreement with him.

  333. We say yes Lord. Amen. How many of us have

  334. learned to say yes Lord?

  335. And we say yes Lord, no matter what ridiculous situation phases.

  336. We see growth, we see breakthrough, we see miracles, Yes Lord,

  337. Yes Lord. We thought our people to say yes Lord.

  338. Too many people are saying no Lord. Now that's where

  339. the church gets killed. No Lord, you know, serve one

  340. more hour, No Lord, come from one more press service.

  341. No Lord, read your bible one more chapter, No Lord,

  342. spend time with me one more hour. No Lord, go

  343. to missions. No Lord, give times, give offering? No Lord, Hm,

  344. you know, but the real miracle is in the Yes Lord,

  345. so simple, right, Yes Lord? No, yes, yes, Lord, I

  346. can't give you anything. Yes Lord, amen, So you gotta

  347. you gotta keep walking. And as you walk, as the

  348. ten lepers walk, the miracle happened. In fact, Jesus said this. Look,

  349. he said, go show yourself to the priest. You know,

  350. in the oldest semonar they only showed themselves to the

  351. priests when they were here. Then they go to the

  352. priest and then they give end offering. That's how the

  353. old test women work. It's not go to yourself to

  354. the priests when you're not haven't got heaven't got any

  355. reason to give an offering. So do you know that

  356. even the statement of Jesus is by faith that visa

  357. you're already here, go show yourself to the priest. So

  358. they trusted the word and the walkler they just walk.

  359. You're not trusting him or you don't trust him, I know,

  360. but all ten walk and all ten.

  361. Receive their healing.

  362. Of course, as the Bible continues, you know that only

  363. one came back to thank you.

  364. That's okay.

  365. I mean, I'm not gonna talk about Thanksgiving this morning,

  366. but I'm gonna talk about walk on.

  367. You keep walking. The wonder is in the walk. The

  368. wonder is in the walk.

  369. Second Corinthians five seven says for we walk by faith,

  370. not by side. Sometimes we quote the scripture and we

  371. say we live by faith, not by side. And the

  372. Lord reminded me, of course I'm trying to I'm trying

  373. to rememborize scriptures these days, and so the Lord I

  374. always remember this very naturally, as for we live by faith,

  375. not by side.

  376. And the Lord says, really carefully, it's in the walk,

  377. you know.

  378. I mean, even when you're sleeping on the bit, you're

  379. still living. But he's not just saying living, No, he's

  380. saying walk, because living can be just breathing.

  381. Right. He doesn't want a Christianist to breathe.

  382. No.

  383. So you can say I live by faith, yeah, but

  384. are you walking by faith? I know you're living by faith.

  385. Byre you walking by faith. There's an action r no,

  386. and you're heading towards something. Amen, But before you can walk,

  387. something else needs to happen. First, something else needs to happen,

  388. Jesus said to him John five to eight. John five

  389. to eight Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your

  390. bed and walk. So before the word walk is rise

  391. and take up your bit. So the first thing that

  392. we need to do as leaders in this room is rise.

  393. Rise.

  394. The first thing that the four lepards did was get

  395. up from where they were seated, because they said, if

  396. we sit here, we'll die.

  397. So they stop sitting.

  398. They got up. Amen, they got ah. Getting up and

  399. rising up is the first action. It shows that you've

  400. got to resolve. It shows that you're about to do something.

  401. It shows that I think I've said enough something, something

  402. needs to be done. I love the rising up because

  403. there are too many many people beaten down, beaten down

  404. by all kinds of disappointment, discouragement, and sometimes it plays.

  405. In your head, Oh, if this is.

  406. The case, now, how about six months later our pastor

  407. is still asking for more. Wow, the vision is so

  408. big one thousand and one thousand, you know. And then

  409. you just get beaten down, sometimes by your own fears,

  410. by your own interpretation, It's not God's interpretation, but it's ours.

  411. And sometimes we interpret the worst, right now, don't we

  412. as human beings? We always like to interpret the worst.

  413. So a lot of believers are beaten down, and the

  414. Lord is just saying to you before you can even walk,

  415. rise up, rise up and start believing again, Rise up

  416. and start.

  417. Desiring again.

  418. And we need to first rise, says the next slide,

  419. or be willing at least to rise. We can be helped,

  420. but the most important help must come from our own

  421. will and determination. What do I mean by we can

  422. be helped? Well, I think it was Peter right, and

  423. was it James maybe even John at the gate called

  424. beautiful member, silver and gold. Have I none, But what

  425. I have I give unto thee in the name of

  426. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk, And then

  427. the Bible says they reach out their hand and pull

  428. the guy out. So, yeah, I think that's probably what

  429. church is for, is to put our hands and to help.

  430. But at the end of the day, it's still your

  431. decision right to want to rise. You can be helped,

  432. and we can go out there to encourage you, and

  433. you encourage others by Yeah, I think, whose decision.

  434. Is it to rise up? It's the man's decision. He

  435. rose up.

  436. Of course you know that he was here. So the

  437. church is there at the beautiful gate to help people rise.

  438. But the decision is still there. They must rise up,

  439. and he must begin with us. We must determine within

  440. this room to rise from the ash heet, rise from

  441. the place.

  442. Of a yo.

  443. I think I want to give up, like I want

  444. to know, rise rise and say, you know I'm not

  445. done yet, because God is not done with me. Then

  446. you need to take up your bed. So rise up

  447. is the first section. Then take up your bed, hold

  448. up your bed, which have been holding you down.

  449. Sometimes that the bed can be very comfortable.

  450. The bed can be a place where you cry and

  451. moan and put your head to the pillow and you know,

  452. get into a sob story, a really good Korean movie

  453. and cry and cry. That's what the bid sometimes speaks about, right,

  454. And many of us actually find ourselves sometimes not rising

  455. from our bed, and you don't realize that the bit

  456. can be very spiritual.

  457. It can actually have hands that hold you down. Seriously,

  458. I've seen many times the Lord asking people to rise

  459. up from their bit. You got to get up.

  460. Not just rise, but get up out of the very

  461. thing that has gotten you down. You know what a

  462. bit also means. Sometimes it means that you have surrendered

  463. to the negative. You're surrendered to the narrative or narrative

  464. that it cannot be done.

  465. You know.

  466. You know how sometimes you just want to go to

  467. a bit and just you know, sleebla, you know, forget

  468. everything you know, and there's no hope, there's no help.

  469. So this bit is a very spiritual thing you need

  470. to understand. One time, I was in pain in my

  471. body and the Lord was teaching me over the course

  472. of the pandemic about healing, and I don't know why,

  473. you know, suddenly he hit me. So then I know

  474. that anytime suddenly, uh, there is definitely, if not.

  475. Uh, an attack of the enemy. Pain doesn't just come

  476. to your body and excuse me.

  477. So I was praying, say, Lord, heal me, heal me, Lord,

  478. heal me, you know by his stripes I quote this scripture.

  479. And then the Lord said to me, Kenneth, as soon

  480. as you get up from this bed, you'll be healed.

  481. And I couldn't because I fella literally the bit holding

  482. me down.

  483. No, don't get up. Don't get up. Whatever you're hearing

  484. you think it's God, it's not God. It's not God.

  485. You know, this.

  486. Bit is the best place you're going to be. This

  487. bit is the safest place you're going to be. Keep

  488. keep lying here you're crazy or what the pain is

  489. in your back? You try to get up, you were

  490. sure to hurt yourself. And then I kept on hearing

  491. the Holy Spirit saying, all you need to do is

  492. get up out of this bit.

  493. I kid you not.

  494. After about maybe thirty seconds to forty five seconds of wrestling,

  495. I just got up because this scripture came to my mind. Rise,

  496. take up your bit. So I got up as soon

  497. as I got up. But within five seconds to ten seconds,

  498. I was here. And then I realized. I turned back

  499. to my bed and go like bed. He tried to

  500. hold me down, did you? But you're not gonna hold

  501. me down anymore. This bed is only for me to sleep,

  502. not for me to moan and mope and cry and

  503. give up. I'm gonna hold up this bit with my hands.

  504. As this bit tried to hold me down, you with me.

  505. I love the fact that David held up the head.

  506. Of Goliath for the very god liar that tried to

  507. put him down.

  508. It's very important that spiritually hold up the very thing

  509. that tried to hold you down.

  510. And wave it to God as a sign of victory.

  511. This god liars tried to put me down, but I

  512. got his head and I lifted up. And the whole army,

  513. you know, on Israel's side, rejoice on the you know,

  514. the enemy side, they ran, They ran. I'm telling you

  515. right now, the enemy will flee from you.

  516. You're gonna learn this.

  517. Start to carry that which carried you, make that which

  518. you have been depending on become your dependent. Excuses are

  519. our strongest bed Past experiences too. You say I tried faster,

  520. but all like the man who was sick for thirty

  521. eight years by the pool, he said, I've been here

  522. thirty eight years, and his only excuse is there's no

  523. one to put me into the pool. I've been waiting

  524. at the pool, and every time I try to get in,

  525. someone gets in before me. The angel stirred up the pool,

  526. and healing happened only to the first person who got in,

  527. and Jesus healed him there. But before Jesus healed him,

  528. he asked, do you want to be here? And I

  529. just really believe in personal decisions and determination. It's very

  530. important when you want to see God's miracle. Okay, So

  531. as I draw to a close, next I just says,

  532. stop circling. The people of Israel circle the wilderness for

  533. forty years?

  534. Were they making ground? Not at all?

  535. Coming back to the same or same or now. It's

  536. okay to be serving in the same church or the

  537. same church planner for fifty years.

  538. It's okay.

  539. It's not about time. It's about not circling around the

  540. same old problems and the same old fears, and the

  541. same old discouragement and the same old disappointments. Is that

  542. you can be in the same place and yet still

  543. make ways for Jesus, I don't really have to migrate anywhere.

  544. I really had about two or three or maybe four offers, really,

  545. two in Singapore and at least one or two in

  546. Australia and one even from America. You know, Parce Acaonda,

  547. you do better here. But this is where I'm called to.

  548. But I can be in the same country and not circle. No,

  549. I'm not where I was twenty two years ago. I

  550. haven't been circling, and I pray I will never circle.

  551. God wants us to take ground, move forward. Amen. No

  552. old stories like guys, new stories for new glory. Amen,

  553. fresh testimonies. I'm so glad that I have a testimony

  554. to share with you. You know, when was our last

  555. vision retreat last October? Okay, when was our last mission

  556. retreat this last April? But I'm not even where I

  557. was in April. I don't, I don't. I want you

  558. to understand this. We all can do this, that by

  559. next mission retreat, that you don't have to be where

  560. you are even today, even though even though today is good,

  561. by next April.

  562. Will be great.

  563. Don't circle, amen, because I think circles a curse, really right,

  564. they didn't out of disobedience, That's what you got hit.

  565. But if you obey the Lord, he will lead you

  566. out of that circle and give you.

  567. Even though you might be even in the same company

  568. for forty years, don't worry about it, same churche for

  569. one hundred years. Is not the place. It is the person.

  570. The person grows and keeps going. So walk on march forward,

  571. make progress, take territory. And what did God promise Joshua

  572. Joshua one three? Every place that the soul of your

  573. foot will tread upon. I have given you. As I

  574. say to Moses, I want to believe that for all

  575. of us, as you walk on new ground every day,

  576. every week, every month, every year, as you walk every place.

  577. That the soul your feet or your foot will tread upon.

  578. Tread right, tread right.

  579. Way we sit this now, think right, talk right, and

  580. tread right, and every place your foot will tread upon.

  581. I will give you. In fact, not I will. I

  582. have given you.

  583. So it's up to us whether you want to tread

  584. or not. You want some money, treadler like tread. You

  585. want someone, you want quota communing clan PJ Hiera's armpa clang.

  586. You want London, you want Melbourne tread because he has

  587. already given to us. But what stops us from walking? Well,

  588. we first have to rise and then take up our bed.

  589. Amen.

  590. Don't mope, leaders, I tell you are. You can cry

  591. for a little bit, but don't cry for long.

  592. Amen.

  593. I told you before. Our leaders don't wish for things

  594. to happen. They lead things to happen. Do you think

  595. we just wish for this s pure retreat to happen

  596. and it happened. No, we wish and then we work.

  597. Amen.

  598. I wish for cota communing to happen. Ext go to communing,

  599. But wishing doesn't make it happen. Working us, we don't

  600. wish for our children to grow up in the way

  601. of the Lord. We lead them to grow up in

  602. the way of the Lord. We also don't wish for

  603. good disciples. We lead good disciples. We make them, We

  604. make them.

  605. Do you know what making is. It's like making a chairller.

  606. You make them.

  607. You have to put the links together, you put the

  608. seats together. You make a chair, you make whatever it is,

  609. make a car, you make a disciple. It doesn't just

  610. come automatically. It doesn't come true just a dream. You

  611. wake up and it's done.

  612. Amen.

  613. Don't wish, only lead. Don't wish for a good marriage.

  614. Lead a good marriage. Invest love, forgive, be patient, be kind.

  615. Amen.

  616. So leaders, I think we don't have to wish for

  617. one thousand times one thousand. We lead it one by one,

  618. ten by ten hundred, one hundred, we lead it.

  619. Amen.

  620. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, and finally, last light,

  621. be strong and very courageous. That's all he knew, was

  622. quiet of Joshua to do exactly what he told Josha

  623. to do because he knew He's not just about nice

  624. words pep talk. You know, once a year vision retreat

  625. where you get a word on a Tuesday morning devotion

  626. not enough good thank you Lord for a word encourages us.

  627. But it takes strength and courage to get it done.

  628. And man, it is sometimes it's going to be. You're

  629. gonna feel so alone, like David felt so alone right

  630. his own men wanted to stone him. And yet the

  631. Bible says that he strengthened himself in the lot. By

  632. what I love about David after he strengthened himself with

  633. the Lord.

  634. It's short.

  635. Sometimes you can say I strengthened myself the Lord because

  636. I spent great quiet time last night, and then this morning,

  637. I think I'll just sit down quietly and wait for

  638. this retreat to finish.

  639. He didn't. When he strengthened himself in the Lord.

  640. What short was he led the very men that wanted

  641. to stone him. He led the very men that to

  642. stole him. Can you lead the people in your church

  643. who don't like you? Ouch, But that's where the proof

  644. is in the pudding, As they say, the proof is

  645. in the pudding. Meaning to say that, how do we

  646. know that they were strengthings has a lot that he

  647. could come out to the men that under stole him

  648. last night and say, let's go.

  649. Huh are we still angry with you know, let's go.

  650. Come on, you want to take your children back, your

  651. wife's back, your property back.

  652. Let's go.

  653. Actually we're still up. I know, seriously, the store is

  654. still in our hands. Well stole me if you like,

  655. but I'm going. And God gave them a.

  656. Miracle as they went.

  657. They came back, and there were men who did not

  658. have strength to follow David right, and the men who

  659. followed him and said, don't give them anything like I know,

  660. just give them back their children, give them better, don't

  661. don't give them the spoil. And David says, you don't

  662. know what you're talking about. God gave us a good

  663. victory today. We will also give to the men who

  664. stayed back as we give the men who went.

  665. And just I just love David spirit. And you know

  666. that David was healed in the Lord because he.

  667. Can say things like that, even forgive the very men

  668. who were against him. I didn't say that David suddenly

  669. overnight loved them and liked them very much that suddenly

  670. became best friends. Now doesn't always happen that way, but

  671. your spirit shows that you've been healed Strengthen. You don't

  672. want to follow me now, mind, but I'm going. I

  673. love that an ex church needs that go by the

  674. way of the four Leopards, saith the Lord.
