You're listening to an ex church podcast. We hope this
-
message will light up your ding.
-
We're gonna look into.
-
The event where the four Lepers walked by faith into
-
the enemy's camp because where they were they had very
-
little hope of survival. There was hopelessness in the camp
-
of Israel and there was no food. And they said,
-
you know, if we remain here, we will die for sure,
-
and if we go to the enemy's camp, we might
-
also die. But there's a fifty to fifty to fifty
-
chance that we might live if they accept us. I
-
just sense when I was preparing for this retreat that
-
the Law was saying, go by the way of the
-
four Leapers, and I just caught that in my spirit,
-
go by the way of four Lepers. I caught that
-
my spirit, and I just went back into the scripture
-
and read the scripture again. And what does God mean
-
when He's saying to us here, our strong men and
-
strong women who are here. What does God mean when
-
he says, I want you to go by the way
-
of the four Lepers. I believe God is asking us
-
all to move forward. I'm quite sure if I sat
-
down with some of you, if not all of you,
-
you will have some discouraging stories to tell me of
-
how people are not listening. People are wanting their own way,
-
people are wanting to give up, people are wanting to
-
step down. People are you know, tired, people are burnt out,
-
people are you know all.
-
These kind of things.
-
I'm sure all of you will have something to say
-
about that. And sometimes it does get us down.
-
A little bit. You know, people do want to move right.
-
So it seems like it's a situation where the four
-
lepers were sitting at the gate in Israel and really
-
just being filled with hopelessness, and God is like saying
-
to us, if we just sit here and remain here,
-
moping and said and discourage, we will definitely die. So
-
the only way is to move forward, and it's to
-
move forward, even if it is moving forward into the
-
enemy's camp, even if it's moving forward to the marketplace
-
where our faith is the minority, where there is possibly
-
no immediate and obvious encouragement that comes.
-
From the church.
-
It should come from the church, actually, but sometimes there
-
is lack of encouragement that comes from the church, and
-
there's more discouragement. And if we continue sit here this
-
way and accept this news, we will. We will die
-
spiritually and emotionally. Know our strength will deplete, our passion
-
to serve the Lord. We'll go out the window. We
-
ourselves will start to take breaks that might or might
-
not lead to healing. Breaks are quite dangerous at Gulino.
-
If you break in the Lord, you're gonna come out refresh.
-
If you break away from the Lord, that's where we
-
are trouble. So we have to be careful about our
-
leaders asking for breaks, because sometimes it's break from the Lord,
-
not break for the Lord. So be careful of the breaks,
-
because I tell you what, if we are breaking in
-
the Lord, even an hour in his presence is enough.
-
It's not necessarily have.
-
To go far away, because you can go to two
-
thousand kilometers away and still be tired and not just
-
tie it outside physical tiredness. I told you yesday, I'm
-
not worried. I'm worried about physical, spiritual, and emotional highness.
-
But you know that no one else can minister to you.
-
Accept the Lord, because the joy of the Lord is
-
our strengths, et cetera.
-
You know the word.
-
However, you know that David's men were all against him
-
at one time, but he strengthened himself in the Lord.
-
In the Lord.
-
We have to find a way to learn to strengthen
-
ourselves in the Lord. But these were the four men,
-
their own leopards, you know, and they had their own shortcomings.
-
We have our own short comings, and there are days
-
where we even think that we are not good enough.
-
Have you ever come to that place wherever you feel like,
-
am I good enough? Am I good enough for this?
-
And you hear all these problems, and then you think
-
it's your fault? Am I leading well enough? Should I
-
be in this position? Should I be leading? Continually? You
-
want to give up this position of maybe someone else better,
-
you know, And because you look around, you don't.
-
See any real solutions.
-
You don't see any moving of hearts that bring out encouragement,
-
more discouragement, and more bad news. And so you know,
-
the lepers also had a lot of limitations, you know,
-
they had lost limbs, lost fingers. You know, it's just
-
when you look at them, they don't look like anything
-
worth talking about. And sometimes when we look in the mirror,
-
we also find, you know, the enemy not just whispering
-
into our ear, He's shouting into our ear. Are you
-
sure you are capable. Are you sure you have what
-
it takes, you know? And there are days like that.
-
But the Lord when he said to me this season,
-
this time that we're living in, go by the way
-
of the four Lepers, I just want to speak that
-
to you, and we want to learn from them. So
-
here we go, Second King seven three to nine, Second
-
Kings seven three to nine. Now there were four lepers
-
men at the entrance of the gate, and they say
-
to one another, why are we sitting here until we die?
-
If we say, we will enter the city. The famine
-
is in the city, meaning you know where the Israelites were,
-
and we shall die there. And if we sit here,
-
we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to
-
the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive,
-
we shall live. If they kill us, we shall only die.
-
And they arose at twilight to go to the camp
-
of the Syrians. And when they had come to the
-
outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise, I want
-
to tell you right now in Jesus' name that we
-
are in for a surprise if we continue to walk
-
by faith, God has a surprise for us waiting. And
-
you know that our God is good, So some surprises
-
are bad. Surprise, Oh no, but God is such a
-
good God. He only gives us who obey, who live
-
by faith. He has only good surprises for us. So
-
to their surprise, no one was there. For the Lord
-
had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the
-
noise of chariots and the noise of horses, the noise
-
of a great army. So they said to another, look,
-
the King of Israel has hired against the kings against us,
-
the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egyptians,
-
who attack us. Therefore they arose and fled at twilight,
-
and left the camp intact, their tents, their horses, and
-
their donkeys.
-
So I told you what yesterday.
-
We are living in the days of plenty seven years
-
of plenty, right, and this scripture tells us there's plenty
-
waiting for us. But we've got to walk and take
-
that ground. We've got to walk by faith. Because where
-
we are previous to this as pure retreat, some of
-
us were in the land of lack. Not enough people
-
to serve la, not enough musicians, LA, not enough homes leaders, lah.
-
You know, slack everywhere you look. And you feel like
-
if we continue going like this are everybody will burn out.
-
But just look at how the fall le persons men
-
are speaking. We go back to our city full of discouragement. Right,
-
we'll die. We sit here, do nothing? Also die? Okay,
-
let's walk, let's move forward, and I'll tell you what
-
I want to prophesy again. There will be a surprise
-
waiting for us. And you know there was plenty. They
-
left their tents, their horses, their donkeys, and they fled
-
for their lives. When these lepers came to the outskirts
-
of the camp, they went into one tent and ate
-
wow abundance, and drank carried from its silver and gold.
-
In Jesus' name, I prayed, you know, the Lord will
-
go to you a prosper ax, that we will always
-
have more than enough to do his will and his
-
work and clothing, and went and hit them. Then they
-
came back and entered another tent and carried some from
-
there also and went and hid it. Then they say
-
to one another another, we are not doing right.
-
Wow.
-
Suddenly, you know, revelation came upon them. They're not doing
-
or acting right. This day is a day of good news,
-
and we remain silent. Leaders, we cannot anymore remain silent.
-
Right this day I want to declare the day of
-
good news. So we talked about the seven areas. Right
-
in the next seven years, eyes must see, ears must hear,
-
mouth must speak, heart must be revived. Right, we still
-
talked about mind must be renewed. We talked about hands
-
must be recommissioned, and feet must be directed. It's not
-
time to be silent anymore, right, Leaders, speak into your situation.
-
Confess you know Romans four seventeen. Remember this one God
-
who gives life to the dead and calls those things
-
that do not exist as though they did.
-
We've got to be.
-
More like God, less of ourselves, more like him. He
-
speaks life into dead things. He calls things that do
-
not exist.
-
Call forth.
-
I'm calling forth right now, the eight fifteen service. I'm
-
calling forth. People are still wondering. How is it going
-
to be done now? I think Daniel chum say he
-
will help me out. But I think that just a
-
couple of days ago, he confessed, passenger, he really doesn't
-
know what to do. It's okay because your past is
-
just confessing. He's calling fourth eight fifteen. And when I
-
call all fourth eight fifteen. I will also call forth
-
the workers.
-
Amen.
-
This is living the life of faith and living like
-
how God lives. God is like that. We are made
-
in this image. We should be like that too, Amen.
-
So don't remain silent. If we wait until morning light,
-
some punishment will come upon us. They have the you
-
know when someone can say if we can do you
-
do this, and some punishment come upon you. You know what
-
they're saying. We have the fear of God. The fear
-
of God is upon us. Don't mind, mind, don't play play, Okay,
-
we fear God that we don't want punishment goes way.
-
We need to do what's right now. Therefore, come let
-
us go and tell the king's household. All right, How
-
is this story so similar to our situation today? Well,
-
I explained that to you earlier. But the next light says,
-
do what is right, no matter what time it is.
-
There is never a wrong time to do what's right.
-
Even when you don't have the workers. Do what's right,
-
even when you have people saying I burn out, do
-
what's right. Even when you say you have people saying
-
I don't believe in the vision of ACX anymore, you
-
do what's right, amen, because two wrongs don't make one right.
-
So you don't just follow suit and say oh yeah lah.
-
I also actually a half half believed the vision. I
-
can understand how you feel. Don't talk you talk like that.
-
Then you know, well, it's just not the way we
-
talk about, just not the way sons and daughters and
-
strong men and women of God who have been with
-
me for so many years.
-
Now, that's not the way we talk.
-
It sounds like, you know, it's very reasonable, and it
-
sounds like the new modern way of talking.
-
You know, I understand you, you understand me. But really that's
-
very natural.
-
But the supernatural way is to do it differently, do
-
it right, no matter what time it is.
-
So I give you three quick points. They thought right.
-
It's very important to renew our minds and think right,
-
because when you can think right, you will talk right.
-
You will speak what you know is true.
-
And many times I hear complaints and I hear murmurings.
-
But nineteen nine percent of the time is not true.
-
I told you before, and I'll tell you again the
-
difference between fact and truth. The fact is I'm used
-
the example. I use example. The fact is maybe when
-
I came in this morning. When I walked in here
-
and you were all here. The fact is maybe I
-
didn't say good morning to all of you. Now you
-
use that fact and you say that Pastor Kenneth doesn't
-
care for us. So once you make a statement that
-
Pastor Kenna doesn't care for us, that becomes a lie
-
because you are now using a fact to determine the truth.
-
So there are too many people going around the fact
-
is correct. You didn't smile at them. You forgot to
-
shake their hands. The fact, and so a lot of
-
people go around talking facts, but determining truth from the fact.
-
And if it's really not true, it's just a fact,
-
but it's not true, then you have just spoken a lie.
-
And so there are many lines going around, and then
-
some people leave church or leave ministry because of that life.
-
So I see.
-
People sitting around at a coffee table talking facts. Yeah
-
he's yeah, he's yeah, he also did that to me, yeah,
-
you know, and they conclude therefore, not that the fact
-
is right, but they conclude that therefore it must be
-
he is like this, she is like that. And I
-
wanted to be very careful by that, because the devil
-
is the father of lives, and he will encourage us
-
to live that life. I'm also very careful when I
-
read newspaper or whatever it is, that the fact is
-
maybe one MDB happened or whatever it is right, But
-
I don't know whether we can be the judge of
-
this man and his wife being exactly how you judge
-
them to be. This is why we need to be careful.
-
The fact doesn't naturally mean the truth of that person's character.
-
I don't think you want to go around hearing about you,
-
hearing people talk about you just because you forgot to
-
send them a Christmas giver, and suddenly you become someone
-
who is you know, and then he goes around the
-
story that goes around. It's not just the fact that
-
the story goes around what they think is true, which
-
is you don't care enough because you didn't send them
-
a Christmas gift. Then suddenly you become an uncaring leader
-
just based on one fact, and a lot of people
-
like to, you know, verify and vindicate and you know,
-
sit down.
-
So this is very very important.
-
You must, in your own heart believe that this is wisdom,
-
wisdom to say, yeah, I saw the fact, I saw
-
the fact, but I rather give the person a benefit
-
of doubt. Yes I saw that fact, yes correct, yeah, yeah,
-
he also did that to me, you know, but you
-
go like, but maybe he had a bad day. Nobody
-
wants to do that and correct help each other out,
-
give its benefit. We immediately try to turn the fact
-
into a truth.
-
So this is very very important.
-
We need to think right before we can talk right
-
and finally tread right. Okay, shread means walk, So the
-
walk actually is not automatically by itself. The walk is
-
determined by your talk, and your talk is determined by
-
your thoughts. That's why they always say walk the talk right.
-
So he's very very important. And I pray that all
-
of us will live in the truth, not just by facts,
-
but truth, because it's not facts that seta three, is
-
truth that setath three?
-
All right?
-
Luke seventeen child to fourteen. Luke seventeen chwelve to fourteen.
-
Then as he entered a certain village, Jesus entered a
-
certain village that met him ten men who were lepers,
-
who stood afar off, and they lifted up their voices
-
and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us, have mercy
-
on us. So when Jesus saw them, all the ten lepers.
-
He said to them, go show yourselves to the priests.
-
And so it was as they went that they were cleansed.
-
I love this scripture so much because it was as
-
they went that they were cleansed.
-
And God in this morning is this wanting to remind us?
-
Keep walking, Walk according to your faith, according to your belief,
-
not according to what other people are saying around you.
-
Keep walking.
-
The father, remember of that daughter who was dying, was
-
stopped in his tracks by people who came to meet
-
him to say, don't bother the master anymore.
-
Your daughter is dead. He stopped.
-
And many of us because of bad news stop, But
-
maybe your miracles just around the corner. Keep walking. So
-
Jesus just said this, do not be afraid. Just believe,
-
keep on believing. See you either believe it or you don't.
-
There's no half half. Don't stop, leaders, don't stop because
-
people are looking at you, watching you, and you and
-
I are to be examples role models and encouragement and
-
inspiration to them. And then they are looking at us
-
that they're watching us. Yeah, they're listening to our voice,
-
our of because the sheep knows the shepherd's voice.
-
They're listening.
-
So if a shepherd's voice is negative, then they will
-
only hear negative.
-
With the shepherd's voice is positive. Positive meaning what.
-
The word of God, the word of God, the word
-
of God. I don't feel it, but the word of
-
God says it. I don't feel it, but the word
-
of God says it. So I speak what God says.
-
I agree with God. I agree with him. That's powerful.
-
No agreement, I think sin. Another definition of sin is
-
to disagree with God. God says can, you say cannot
-
that sin? God says go, You say stay. God says bill,
-
you say kill. God says love, You say hey. And
-
when we start disagree with God's word, that's when sin happens.
-
But sin is removed when you know, when we come
-
to know the Lord, we start to into agreement with him.
-
We say yes Lord. Amen. How many of us have
-
learned to say yes Lord?
-
And we say yes Lord, no matter what ridiculous situation phases.
-
We see growth, we see breakthrough, we see miracles, Yes Lord,
-
Yes Lord. We thought our people to say yes Lord.
-
Too many people are saying no Lord. Now that's where
-
the church gets killed. No Lord, you know, serve one
-
more hour, No Lord, come from one more press service.
-
No Lord, read your bible one more chapter, No Lord,
-
spend time with me one more hour. No Lord, go
-
to missions. No Lord, give times, give offering? No Lord, Hm,
-
you know, but the real miracle is in the Yes Lord,
-
so simple, right, Yes Lord? No, yes, yes, Lord, I
-
can't give you anything. Yes Lord, amen, So you gotta
-
you gotta keep walking. And as you walk, as the
-
ten lepers walk, the miracle happened. In fact, Jesus said this. Look,
-
he said, go show yourself to the priest. You know,
-
in the oldest semonar they only showed themselves to the
-
priests when they were here. Then they go to the
-
priest and then they give end offering. That's how the
-
old test women work. It's not go to yourself to
-
the priests when you're not haven't got heaven't got any
-
reason to give an offering. So do you know that
-
even the statement of Jesus is by faith that visa
-
you're already here, go show yourself to the priest. So
-
they trusted the word and the walkler they just walk.
-
You're not trusting him or you don't trust him, I know,
-
but all ten walk and all ten.
-
Receive their healing.
-
Of course, as the Bible continues, you know that only
-
one came back to thank you.
-
That's okay.
-
I mean, I'm not gonna talk about Thanksgiving this morning,
-
but I'm gonna talk about walk on.
-
You keep walking. The wonder is in the walk. The
-
wonder is in the walk.
-
Second Corinthians five seven says for we walk by faith,
-
not by side. Sometimes we quote the scripture and we
-
say we live by faith, not by side. And the
-
Lord reminded me, of course I'm trying to I'm trying
-
to rememborize scriptures these days, and so the Lord I
-
always remember this very naturally, as for we live by faith,
-
not by side.
-
And the Lord says, really carefully, it's in the walk,
-
you know.
-
I mean, even when you're sleeping on the bit, you're
-
still living. But he's not just saying living, No, he's
-
saying walk, because living can be just breathing.
-
Right. He doesn't want a Christianist to breathe.
-
No.
-
So you can say I live by faith, yeah, but
-
are you walking by faith? I know you're living by faith.
-
Byre you walking by faith. There's an action r no,
-
and you're heading towards something. Amen, But before you can walk,
-
something else needs to happen. First, something else needs to happen,
-
Jesus said to him John five to eight. John five
-
to eight Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your
-
bed and walk. So before the word walk is rise
-
and take up your bit. So the first thing that
-
we need to do as leaders in this room is rise.
-
Rise.
-
The first thing that the four lepards did was get
-
up from where they were seated, because they said, if
-
we sit here, we'll die.
-
So they stop sitting.
-
They got up. Amen, they got ah. Getting up and
-
rising up is the first action. It shows that you've
-
got to resolve. It shows that you're about to do something.
-
It shows that I think I've said enough something, something
-
needs to be done. I love the rising up because
-
there are too many many people beaten down, beaten down
-
by all kinds of disappointment, discouragement, and sometimes it plays.
-
In your head, Oh, if this is.
-
The case, now, how about six months later our pastor
-
is still asking for more. Wow, the vision is so
-
big one thousand and one thousand, you know. And then
-
you just get beaten down, sometimes by your own fears,
-
by your own interpretation, It's not God's interpretation, but it's ours.
-
And sometimes we interpret the worst, right now, don't we
-
as human beings? We always like to interpret the worst.
-
So a lot of believers are beaten down, and the
-
Lord is just saying to you before you can even walk,
-
rise up, rise up and start believing again, Rise up
-
and start.
-
Desiring again.
-
And we need to first rise, says the next slide,
-
or be willing at least to rise. We can be helped,
-
but the most important help must come from our own
-
will and determination. What do I mean by we can
-
be helped? Well, I think it was Peter right, and
-
was it James maybe even John at the gate called
-
beautiful member, silver and gold. Have I none, But what
-
I have I give unto thee in the name of
-
Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk, And then
-
the Bible says they reach out their hand and pull
-
the guy out. So, yeah, I think that's probably what
-
church is for, is to put our hands and to help.
-
But at the end of the day, it's still your
-
decision right to want to rise. You can be helped,
-
and we can go out there to encourage you, and
-
you encourage others by Yeah, I think, whose decision.
-
Is it to rise up? It's the man's decision. He
-
rose up.
-
Of course you know that he was here. So the
-
church is there at the beautiful gate to help people rise.
-
But the decision is still there. They must rise up,
-
and he must begin with us. We must determine within
-
this room to rise from the ash heet, rise from
-
the place.
-
Of a yo.
-
I think I want to give up, like I want
-
to know, rise rise and say, you know I'm not
-
done yet, because God is not done with me. Then
-
you need to take up your bed. So rise up
-
is the first section. Then take up your bed, hold
-
up your bed, which have been holding you down.
-
Sometimes that the bed can be very comfortable.
-
The bed can be a place where you cry and
-
moan and put your head to the pillow and you know,
-
get into a sob story, a really good Korean movie
-
and cry and cry. That's what the bid sometimes speaks about, right,
-
And many of us actually find ourselves sometimes not rising
-
from our bed, and you don't realize that the bit
-
can be very spiritual.
-
It can actually have hands that hold you down. Seriously,
-
I've seen many times the Lord asking people to rise
-
up from their bit. You got to get up.
-
Not just rise, but get up out of the very
-
thing that has gotten you down. You know what a
-
bit also means. Sometimes it means that you have surrendered
-
to the negative. You're surrendered to the narrative or narrative
-
that it cannot be done.
-
You know.
-
You know how sometimes you just want to go to
-
a bit and just you know, sleebla, you know, forget
-
everything you know, and there's no hope, there's no help.
-
So this bit is a very spiritual thing you need
-
to understand. One time, I was in pain in my
-
body and the Lord was teaching me over the course
-
of the pandemic about healing, and I don't know why,
-
you know, suddenly he hit me. So then I know
-
that anytime suddenly, uh, there is definitely, if not.
-
Uh, an attack of the enemy. Pain doesn't just come
-
to your body and excuse me.
-
So I was praying, say, Lord, heal me, heal me, Lord,
-
heal me, you know by his stripes I quote this scripture.
-
And then the Lord said to me, Kenneth, as soon
-
as you get up from this bed, you'll be healed.
-
And I couldn't because I fella literally the bit holding
-
me down.
-
No, don't get up. Don't get up. Whatever you're hearing
-
you think it's God, it's not God. It's not God.
-
You know, this.
-
Bit is the best place you're going to be. This
-
bit is the safest place you're going to be. Keep
-
keep lying here you're crazy or what the pain is
-
in your back? You try to get up, you were
-
sure to hurt yourself. And then I kept on hearing
-
the Holy Spirit saying, all you need to do is
-
get up out of this bit.
-
I kid you not.
-
After about maybe thirty seconds to forty five seconds of wrestling,
-
I just got up because this scripture came to my mind. Rise,
-
take up your bit. So I got up as soon
-
as I got up. But within five seconds to ten seconds,
-
I was here. And then I realized. I turned back
-
to my bed and go like bed. He tried to
-
hold me down, did you? But you're not gonna hold
-
me down anymore. This bed is only for me to sleep,
-
not for me to moan and mope and cry and
-
give up. I'm gonna hold up this bit with my hands.
-
As this bit tried to hold me down, you with me.
-
I love the fact that David held up the head.
-
Of Goliath for the very god liar that tried to
-
put him down.
-
It's very important that spiritually hold up the very thing
-
that tried to hold you down.
-
And wave it to God as a sign of victory.
-
This god liars tried to put me down, but I
-
got his head and I lifted up. And the whole army,
-
you know, on Israel's side, rejoice on the you know,
-
the enemy side, they ran, They ran. I'm telling you
-
right now, the enemy will flee from you.
-
You're gonna learn this.
-
Start to carry that which carried you, make that which
-
you have been depending on become your dependent. Excuses are
-
our strongest bed Past experiences too. You say I tried faster,
-
but all like the man who was sick for thirty
-
eight years by the pool, he said, I've been here
-
thirty eight years, and his only excuse is there's no
-
one to put me into the pool. I've been waiting
-
at the pool, and every time I try to get in,
-
someone gets in before me. The angel stirred up the pool,
-
and healing happened only to the first person who got in,
-
and Jesus healed him there. But before Jesus healed him,
-
he asked, do you want to be here? And I
-
just really believe in personal decisions and determination. It's very
-
important when you want to see God's miracle. Okay, So
-
as I draw to a close, next I just says,
-
stop circling. The people of Israel circle the wilderness for
-
forty years?
-
Were they making ground? Not at all?
-
Coming back to the same or same or now. It's
-
okay to be serving in the same church or the
-
same church planner for fifty years.
-
It's okay.
-
It's not about time. It's about not circling around the
-
same old problems and the same old fears, and the
-
same old discouragement and the same old disappointments. Is that
-
you can be in the same place and yet still
-
make ways for Jesus, I don't really have to migrate anywhere.
-
I really had about two or three or maybe four offers, really,
-
two in Singapore and at least one or two in
-
Australia and one even from America. You know, Parce Acaonda,
-
you do better here. But this is where I'm called to.
-
But I can be in the same country and not circle. No,
-
I'm not where I was twenty two years ago. I
-
haven't been circling, and I pray I will never circle.
-
God wants us to take ground, move forward. Amen. No
-
old stories like guys, new stories for new glory. Amen,
-
fresh testimonies. I'm so glad that I have a testimony
-
to share with you. You know, when was our last
-
vision retreat last October? Okay, when was our last mission
-
retreat this last April? But I'm not even where I
-
was in April. I don't, I don't. I want you
-
to understand this. We all can do this, that by
-
next mission retreat, that you don't have to be where
-
you are even today, even though even though today is good,
-
by next April.
-
Will be great.
-
Don't circle, amen, because I think circles a curse, really right,
-
they didn't out of disobedience, That's what you got hit.
-
But if you obey the Lord, he will lead you
-
out of that circle and give you.
-
Even though you might be even in the same company
-
for forty years, don't worry about it, same churche for
-
one hundred years. Is not the place. It is the person.
-
The person grows and keeps going. So walk on march forward,
-
make progress, take territory. And what did God promise Joshua
-
Joshua one three? Every place that the soul of your
-
foot will tread upon. I have given you. As I
-
say to Moses, I want to believe that for all
-
of us, as you walk on new ground every day,
-
every week, every month, every year, as you walk every place.
-
That the soul your feet or your foot will tread upon.
-
Tread right, tread right.
-
Way we sit this now, think right, talk right, and
-
tread right, and every place your foot will tread upon.
-
I will give you. In fact, not I will. I
-
have given you.
-
So it's up to us whether you want to tread
-
or not. You want some money, treadler like tread. You
-
want someone, you want quota communing clan PJ Hiera's armpa clang.
-
You want London, you want Melbourne tread because he has
-
already given to us. But what stops us from walking? Well,
-
we first have to rise and then take up our bed.
-
Amen.
-
Don't mope, leaders, I tell you are. You can cry
-
for a little bit, but don't cry for long.
-
Amen.
-
I told you before. Our leaders don't wish for things
-
to happen. They lead things to happen. Do you think
-
we just wish for this s pure retreat to happen
-
and it happened. No, we wish and then we work.
-
Amen.
-
I wish for cota communing to happen. Ext go to communing,
-
But wishing doesn't make it happen. Working us, we don't
-
wish for our children to grow up in the way
-
of the Lord. We lead them to grow up in
-
the way of the Lord. We also don't wish for
-
good disciples. We lead good disciples. We make them, We
-
make them.
-
Do you know what making is. It's like making a chairller.
-
You make them.
-
You have to put the links together, you put the
-
seats together. You make a chair, you make whatever it is,
-
make a car, you make a disciple. It doesn't just
-
come automatically. It doesn't come true just a dream. You
-
wake up and it's done.
-
Amen.
-
Don't wish, only lead. Don't wish for a good marriage.
-
Lead a good marriage. Invest love, forgive, be patient, be kind.
-
Amen.
-
So leaders, I think we don't have to wish for
-
one thousand times one thousand. We lead it one by one,
-
ten by ten hundred, one hundred, we lead it.
-
Amen.
-
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, and finally, last light,
-
be strong and very courageous. That's all he knew, was
-
quiet of Joshua to do exactly what he told Josha
-
to do because he knew He's not just about nice
-
words pep talk. You know, once a year vision retreat
-
where you get a word on a Tuesday morning devotion
-
not enough good thank you Lord for a word encourages us.
-
But it takes strength and courage to get it done.
-
And man, it is sometimes it's going to be. You're
-
gonna feel so alone, like David felt so alone right
-
his own men wanted to stone him. And yet the
-
Bible says that he strengthened himself in the lot. By
-
what I love about David after he strengthened himself with
-
the Lord.
-
It's short.
-
Sometimes you can say I strengthened myself the Lord because
-
I spent great quiet time last night, and then this morning,
-
I think I'll just sit down quietly and wait for
-
this retreat to finish.
-
He didn't. When he strengthened himself in the Lord.
-
What short was he led the very men that wanted
-
to stone him. He led the very men that to
-
stole him. Can you lead the people in your church
-
who don't like you? Ouch, But that's where the proof
-
is in the pudding, As they say, the proof is
-
in the pudding. Meaning to say that, how do we
-
know that they were strengthings has a lot that he
-
could come out to the men that under stole him
-
last night and say, let's go.
-
Huh are we still angry with you know, let's go.
-
Come on, you want to take your children back, your
-
wife's back, your property back.
-
Let's go.
-
Actually we're still up. I know, seriously, the store is
-
still in our hands. Well stole me if you like,
-
but I'm going. And God gave them a.
-
Miracle as they went.
-
They came back, and there were men who did not
-
have strength to follow David right, and the men who
-
followed him and said, don't give them anything like I know,
-
just give them back their children, give them better, don't
-
don't give them the spoil. And David says, you don't
-
know what you're talking about. God gave us a good
-
victory today. We will also give to the men who
-
stayed back as we give the men who went.
-
And just I just love David spirit. And you know
-
that David was healed in the Lord because he.
-
Can say things like that, even forgive the very men
-
who were against him. I didn't say that David suddenly
-
overnight loved them and liked them very much that suddenly
-
became best friends. Now doesn't always happen that way, but
-
your spirit shows that you've been healed Strengthen. You don't
-
want to follow me now, mind, but I'm going. I
-
love that an ex church needs that go by the
-
way of the four Leopards, saith the Lord.
