Right, Mercy and Grace

You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

We hope this message will light up your tea.

to know that there is mercy.

You have the right. And I pray that you understand that.

Do you know there's a spiritual thing, right, But your

right came from the Lord. So when you enter there,

you know, and the Bible really says right every place

that the soul of your foot will tread upon I

have given it to you. It's just it's just a

man of understanding. And then exercise it, you know, take

hold of the land, take hold of your marriage, take

So if right is power, then mercy is to plead.

and family, that there are some days the power might

You're buying. You cast out, it doesn't happen.

You pray in Jesus' name, nothing moves, and then you

realize that something else at work. God is not answering

that prayer according to your right. He is moving in mercy.

And my personal experience of this is that, you know,

I pray for the sick and all that, and we

do see people get healed. So one time I was

so ill, at least I felt ill in my body.

I actually thought I was good. I went on my

bed and I was shivering, and I already have been

praying for a week, if not ten days, to cast

us out. And then there were ups and downside. They

were like, oh it's working, oh denstally when worse. Oh

it's working the other day than when worse. And then

that that night when I went to bed, I only

went to bed because I was so ill, and all

I could say is Lord, have mercy on me, Lord

have mercy, because I knew this was not the right issue.

This was not a power issue. This was I needed

God's mercy. So a lot of Christians who don't understand

this keep binding the enemy and keep you know, praying

for power when actually it's not a time for powers,

the time of pleading. And I'll explain to you in

a little while while why God allows it. Maybe let

me do it now. He allows it because humility is

very key in a Christian life. And sometimes when we

start binding and casting out and all that, class all

starts working for you very well.

Right. You might think it's you.

You might think that I'm all right, you might think

that I'm okay, I've got this together, and your dependency

on God gets less. And so there are times where

God holds his hand. He does for our sake. He

loves us too much to allow us to be proud.

So I was there as like, for example, quote unquote

a healer not being able to heal himself. Right, they

look at Jesus, you know he delivers so many. Let

him deliver himself. So every one of us will get

there to a place whereby uh, there is a you know,

sort of like an allowance by God to keep us

looking at him, depending on him. So let me move on.

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him. This

is almost my daily quote to the Lord. I caught

it back to him. I said, the Lord takes pleasure.

He takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those

who hope in his mercy. So, ladies and gentlemen, hope

is not in the right. Our hope is not in

the power. Our hope is not in how much knowledge

of the world we have, how much scripture we can quote,

which Bible school we went to. Our hope it's not

even in the name ex Church. Our hope is in

his mercy, not even in his power.

Mercy.

Where is your hope? Where is your trust? What's the

next one? But I have trusted in your mercy. I trust,

I've trusted in your not power, mercy. Where is our trust? Finally,

my trust is no, Lord, your mercy. Really, at the

end of the day, thank you for the power. But

it's your mercy that gets me through every day.

Amen.

So mercy is God's mercy is going to grow this church. Right,

So have mercy on me, Oh Lord, for I am weak.

Oh Lord, heal me for my bones, our trouble. I

love these scriptures because it shows that even great men

of God knew where to turn to when things weren't working.

This is one of those things you can fall back

on time and time again.

get so discouraged because one was upon a time what

cancer was here? Then suddenly you know your own family,

my own father in law, right, and then I just

you know, after praying for him, you know, it cast

out the spirit of cancer or that you know, but

I realize God allows. Why does he allow? Because he

reminds us really, without him we are nothing. So here

we go through the lots of mercies, you like this one.

This one is We always use this one to say

your mercies are new every morning. But actually this is

how it is said in the Bible. Through the lots

of mercies, we are not consumed. That means we will

go through hell sometimes, but it won't be consumed because

of his mercies because his compassions fail. Not they are

new every morning. No, they missed this morning's new because

yesterday it was used up.

That's why.

Yes, we knew because yesterday he was used. Today we

use that again. There's more morning. But it's as shure

Next line says mercy brings us out of uncomfortable situations.

What I want you to see is it brings us

out of it does so that day after I cried

out to God's mercia, I think I said it. I

don't know. I can't count, but it was probably I

don't know, a hundred times.

I actually said, Lord, have mercy or me lod because

my body was like, no wasting away my bit and

you know, you know now when your body is going

crazy right here, why your medicine can't help.

Lord, have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy.

And then so you go down to mercy. And then

is a timer that God brings you through. I know

may rest upon you. Grace takes us true. And you

enough mercy. You engage mercy, And when you engage mercy,

you also end up with good things.

And then if mercy doesn't work, you have to experience grace.

And when you experience grace, you also end up with

good things you with me.
