  1. You're listening to a message to go from ext church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. How do we know the way? How do we know

  4. the Kingdom of God? How do we know God's Way? Well,

  5. we go to the word. We all want to be

  6. people of the way, but how do we be people

  7. of the way? The Word will help us know the way,

  8. understand the way? Amen, John fifteen seven. For this morning,

  9. my key texts, if you abide in me, this is

  10. Jesus speaking. This is the Way speaking. He is the

  11. Way and he speaks. He says, if you abide in

  12. me and my words abide in you, you will ask

  13. what you desire and it shall be done for you.

  14. What a promise. You will ask what you desire and

  15. it will be done for you. Is there anyone in

  16. this room who has any desire that only God can do?

  17. Maybe is the salvation of someone you love and for

  18. years you've been trying, and the more you try, the

  19. more he goes further, she goes further. Maybe they become

  20. anti Christian. Maybe they were Christians. And you know what,

  21. it's harder to reach a back seating Christian because he

  22. or she believes that they know whatever you're gonna tell

  23. them I know, oh gong, Yeah, so they know, they.

  24. Think they know.

  25. So it's very hard to reach a family who once

  26. knew in school they tasted off the love of Jesus.

  27. Maybe it was a Christian school, a missionary school. Very hard,

  28. very hard. But there is a promise in the Bible,

  29. and the promise is that you will ask what you

  30. desire and it shall be done for you if you

  31. believe it.

  32. Say amen, I want you to live this today.

  33. I want you to I want I want to challenge

  34. all of you to take this scripture and say, Lord,

  35. I've never really lived this. So I have never really

  36. lived this. I've been a Christian for thirty years. I've

  37. never really asked what I desire and believe that you

  38. would do it for me.

  39. I'm going to take this home and say, God, I

  40. hold you to your promise.

  41. But this promise has a condition, and the precondition is this,

  42. if you abided me and my words, abiding you. So

  43. we want the promise, it is yes and amen, but

  44. we also want to learn how to step into that promise,

  45. how to claim that promise, how to see that promise

  46. come to pass. Let's now study the word abide, bide

  47. In the Greek is the word men no, men no,

  48. and what that means is the next life will tell

  49. you to abide, to remain, to stay.

  50. To continue, to exist, and to persist. That's what it means.

  51. In other words, in our today language, it means to

  52. be faithful. Faithfulness, my dear brothers and sisters, to me,

  53. is the most important, the most important attribute of God,

  54. the most important.

  55. I don't know how many of you will.

  56. Agree the most to me. I've learned something through the years.

  57. Someone said, no, pastor, it cannot be. God is love.

  58. Love is the most important attribute. God is our provider,

  59. very important attribute. But I can tell you now if

  60. you disagree with me, you will probably give me a

  61. word and say, past I think his love, love is

  62. more important. I think his forgiver, forgiveness is most important.

  63. And I can tell you this. You can throw me

  64. any word and I'll throw it back to you to say,

  65. if God was not faithful, he can stop doing it.

  66. So even God is love, so love is the most important.

  67. If God was not faithful, what is to guarantee that

  68. he will still love you tomorrow? If God is not faithful,

  69. what is to guarantee that he will provide that you

  70. will forgive so to me. In the years of me

  71. walking with the Lord, I ask the Lord Lord, what

  72. is the most important? He says, faithfulness, Kenneth. And because

  73. you were made in my own image, you also must

  74. be faithful. The most important an attribute about the human

  75. being is also faithfulness. Let's read for a second Dimody

  76. two thirteen. If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He

  77. cannot deny himself. Oh, he cannot deny himself. Even if

  78. all of us in this room were faithless. He has

  79. to remain faithful because it is his core being, it

  80. is his dna, it is who he is.

  81. He cannot deny himself.

  82. But let's look at us and the reflection of us

  83. made in the image of God. That God, when he

  84. rewarded his servants in Matthew twenty five, said well done,

  85. good and faithful servant.

  86. Listen to me.

  87. Now we all know the two wards that we will

  88. and hopefully will be receiving in heaven. However, you want

  89. to receive this from the Lord, and the Lord has

  90. already said it, so all of us know what we

  91. want to hear. We want to hear when we come

  92. before g after life is done here on earth, you'd

  93. meet the Lord face to face, and he says, with

  94. a smile on his face, well done, my good and

  95. faithful servant. And then you will scratch your head and

  96. go God. I've always been looking forward for these two words.

  97. I wonder why, of all the English words, you only

  98. chose two. And he will tell you because these two

  99. are the most important.

  100. Good means.

  101. The rich young ruler said, why do you call me good?

  102. Only God is good? Only God is good means when

  103. God sees you and says good, he sees himself in you.

  104. Only God is good. But he calls you good because

  105. he sees God in you. I'm calling myself. I see you,

  106. but I see me in you. So I call the

  107. mead I see in you the God I see in you.

  108. I call you good, but not just good, you are

  109. good and faithful. So many English words, so many words

  110. he could have used. Actually he's not English, that it

  111. is Greek. Okay, the origin is Greek. But it just

  112. means faithful. Can you imagine the whole of your life

  113. is lived to hear these two words. And so we

  114. must align our lives with these two words. We must

  115. because nothing else matters. He didn't say, well done, my

  116. good looking. Then of course you spent as much money

  117. as you can to go for plastic surgery, all right.

  118. He didn't also say, well, my chabidah.

  119. But you know, well, Danny, can you regine?

  120. God sees me in heaven? He didn't say, Rather, does

  121. he see his son in me? Will God see his

  122. son in me?

  123. He sees? He says, good, because only God is good.

  124. I can see God in you. Oh wonderful, but faithful.

  125. I tell you. Every decision that you're about to make

  126. has to align to faithful. Because it's very easy to

  127. give up my very easy to give up, very easy

  128. to join the towel one.

  129. That's why we like those shows like Rocky, because he's

  130. beaten down and he.

  131. Climbed the rope right whoa. And then we cry.

  132. We cry because a lot of us are would have

  133. given up long time ago. But we know we want

  134. that God made us in his own image, so we

  135. want that. We want the Rocky in us, And so

  136. we cry, and people are there by the side of.

  137. The ring saying this, stay down, stay right. We all cry.

  138. We cried.

  139. Every movie that has got people showing just a little

  140. bit more resilience. Cry every movie showing people I would

  141. have given up wrong time of God? No, no, no, no,

  142. we cry? Why why we do we cry? There's something

  143. within us, made in the image of God that connects

  144. with that movie.

  145. We connect, we connect. It's a God cry.

  146. I s I was like, good, were you supposed to?

  147. I gave up so easily? Well you have a second time?

  148. Everybody say second times. I don't know many words could

  149. have been said about me for the last twenty four

  150. years of leading this church. Can I just tell you this,

  151. I'm still here. That counts your marriage. It's not always

  152. a easy road being able to stand up and say,

  153. by the grace of God, still here. You want to

  154. be able to say that, everybody, Okay, I'm still standing?

  155. Is a song?

  156. I like, I'm still standing, but by the grace, but

  157. by the grace of God, I'm still I'm still. Abide

  158. in me, and let my words abide in you. I'm

  159. still here. What's the What is the definition of abide again?

  160. Stay?

  161. Can that be your rally point? Everyone in this room?

  162. Are you listening to me? Can that be your testimony?

  163. Abide means to stay, to remain, to continue. How many

  164. of you have been to a restaurant and a waiter

  165. comes to you, and a good waiter waits.

  166. What does a good way to do? Wait? What does

  167. a good way to do? Does he run? Does he

  168. walk away?

  169. No? After you give the order, he goes away and

  170. then he comes back with your order. How many of

  171. you like a waiter that does not pay attention? I

  172. know sometimes in Hong Kong water very like, right, you're

  173. very efficient.

  174. Fighting like Hong Kong Beta. Maybe no yeah, Malaysia, I'm guy.

  175. Did no wanda no one ta no wan ta uh

  176. huh Malaysia. Something say come to you, Macaba, want you

  177. pay at Macapa?

  178. Hey you you can?

  179. Maybe maybe he's asking people to I sorted sway, Papa say,

  180. chuck up my little eyes. Oh sorry, So that didn't

  181. bring out because the Christian attention. Ye wait, pay attention, stay, remain.

  182. Oh what you hold on? Hold on? Christians? We don't

  183. buy one way, very hard to go buy. Yeah. Yeah,

  184. those who wait on the lad shall renew their strength.

  185. Just wait.

  186. Don't go anywhere until you get God's order. Don't go

  187. anywhere until you get God's order. I said, don't go

  188. anywhere until you get God's order.

  189. Focus on him.

  190. The worst kind of waiter is the one that doesn't

  191. pay attention, and it's walking around, running away, never coming back.

  192. You press the bell five times so he doesn't come back. No, No,

  193. you want a waiter that will wait on you.

  194. That's so in America they will say, Hi, my name

  195. is Kenneth, and I'll be waiting on this section your table.

  196. Because they also want tips right at the end. But

  197. but but basically, yeah, they're working for their tips. That's fine,

  198. But they're saying, I'm your waiter. You don't have to

  199. ask anyone. I will wait and they really really do

  200. a good job. And when you do good job, you

  201. give them a bigger tip. I mean, have you know

  202. that the Lord has the best tip reserve for us

  203. Halelijah who weighed upon him, And that's a tip, that's

  204. a that's a tip.

  205. Shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wigs

  206. like egos.

  207. Wow, that's cool, right, and not be weary. I think

  208. CIGI would love that. He imagine going to a maraton

  209. and never getting weirdy. What does a good way to do?

  210. Faithfulness starts with faith? Okay, continues with faith, says the

  211. next slide. We can't even spell faithful without first spelling faith.

  212. If you take away faith from faithful, it's just full.

  213. You know what.

  214. The young people are so lay my disbuster. I don't

  215. get it through or not. That's why people.

  216. After a while, they don't no longer listener. They no

  217. longer can be faithful because they've lost faith. In your company,

  218. in your marriage, in your church. You tried hard. You

  219. tried hard, probably, but you lost belief. You lost faith.

  220. If you want to stay, you want to remain, you

  221. want to abide, you got to be faithful. But you

  222. can't be faithful if there's no faith. You can't have

  223. faithfulness without first having faith, says the next life.

  224. So then faith comes by hearing. How do you get faith?

  225. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
