Faith In Who God Is

You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

We hope this message will light up your day.

So some of us can look at Jesus and still

have no faith. You with me, So he's looking onto Jesus,

the author and the finisher of our faith. So it

doesn't do much to you if you just look at Jesus.

But there's no faith in it. But it's not just

faith as we know it. It's faith in who God is.

I've been taught all these years to look to Jesus

in good times and in bad times. But I've learned

from the Lord while being in this cave that is

not just about looking at him. In fact, some of

us sometimes don't even know what it means. So we

look at the cross on the wall. Do we look

at the picture of Jesus. Did he gaze up to

the heaven and say, Jesus, you know, show me a

cloud that looks like you. Do we just call on

his name, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus now looking onto Jesus, the

Lord taught me. It's not the completion of that statement.

The statement found in Hebrews chapter twelve, verse two, is

looking onto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith.

Another translation says the perfector or rady, the pioneer. Yes,

he is the pioneer and the perfector of our faith.

So it's about faith. Yes, so some of us can

look at Jesus and still have no faith. You with me, Oh,

I'm looking at Jesus, pastors saying, look at Jesus, but

I still feel down. I look at Jesus. I'm not praying,

but I'm looking at Jesus. I feel nothing when I

look at Jesus. But I still look at Jesus, you know,

daring at the cross on the wall. I'm going to

the Catholic church and I'm looking at the Jesus on

the cross on the wall. What does it mean. I

don't feel anything. I don't feel breakthrue. No, it's looking

onto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. It's

about faith, and the Bible says it is our faith

a gift from God himself that overcomes the world. It

also says without faith, it is impossible to please God.

It also says that we are to walk by faith,

not by sight. So it's looking onto Jesus, the author

and the finisher of our faith. So it doesn't do

much to you if you just look at Jesus. But

there's no faith in it. Amen, I've come to realize,

especially in the most difficult times of my recovery. Now

let me pause, he it for let me pause to

say this. In this very room where this recording is happening,

I had one of my toughest moments just three days ago.

I was on the floor because I was receiving my

first physiotherapy. It's a house call. Thank God for that.

There's another testimony that is physiotherapist actually does house calls.

But my knee, my right knee, my good leg that

has been supporting my whole body's weight for the past

eighteen days. My knee was totally inflamed, swollen like an

elephant man's foot, you know. And it was so painful,

and so even if physiotherapist didn't even dare touch the

area that right knee, but because I needed my right

leg to get back to my bed or get to

the toil, I was really in such pain and turmoil.

And it was one of the toughest moments for a

man who can't get up from the floor, trying with

all his might to push himself up from the floor.

My wife tried to help, she couldn't because she can't

sustain my way. And I cried out to God. I said, Jesus,

please help me. I had to cry out in this

room and I had to just be on the floor

for fifteen minutes trying to find a way. Left lick

couldn't use, right lick couldn't use. And then the enemy

again tried to take advantage. Where's the God that you serve?

Where's the God that you pray for other people's healing?

Where's the God who does miracles? Where's the God who

does signs and wonders? Who heals? He can't even get

you up out of there, up from the floor. How

are you going to go to toilet? How are you

going to go to your bed? My mind was thinking, Oh, God,

where are you? And do you hear my cry? Do

you hear me? God? And some of you could be

crying out like that, Where are you God? Do you

hear my cry? And then the Lord began to speak

as I was able to find my way to get

up from the floor, get back to my walker and

got on my bed. I was a little bit concerned,

even afraid to go anywhere for the next twenty four hours,

because you know, it's just it's hard for a man

to not be able to do the things that he

usually can do so easily. The Lord begin a minister

to me. The Lord begin to minister to me. God

is working to strengthen my faith. Remember, I'm looking to Jesus.

But it's all about the author and finisher of my faith.

But it's not just faith as we know. It is

faith in who God is, not just a healer, not

just a mighty miracle worker, but who He is in

the core of his being. The Bible says in First

John chapter four that God is love. And I tell

you what. God began to minister to me in such

a powerful way. I felt his love just coming from

heaven and feeling me like a mighty waterfall just coming

upon me, wave after wave of his love. Is his son.

I love you. There's no one else in this world

that I will ever love you more than I love you.

I was there when you couldn't pick yourself up. I

was all the way there when you suffer the injury

in say Paul. I was there when people had to

go home and leave the hospital because the hospital, visiting

hours was done. I was there when you came back

and had to spend one or two nights alone. You

were never alone. I will never leave you, nor for

sake you do you believe that all the enemy will

have us think that he is the first one to

leave God, the first one to walk out the door,

the first one to say forget you. You're so hard

to be with. You're such a stubborn fool. I told

you not to do that, and I told you not

to go there, and all that right, and you don't listen,

and you're just a stubborn man. And I'm gonna walk

away from you. Serve you writing, serve you. You deserve

the punishment. No, no, no, no no. The Lord's love

this minister to me, and his river of love just

flowed through me. And it takes faith also to believe

that he loves you so much, and that nobody on

the face of the earth can ever love you more.

That's why it says. And the main scripture is this

one Corinthians thirteen thirteen. Now Abide, faith, hope, love, these three.

But the greatest of these is love. I thought faith

was already great. We talk about faith so much faith.

We one faith that can move mountains. But you know,

in this cave moment, in this cave season, God wants

to take us deeper. Your pastor is already a man

who is not unfamiliar with faith. You know that I've

been living by faith all my ministry life. God says,

you want to go deeper, Kennon, Do you really want

to see revival? Kenneth, It's not just gonna be a

revival of faith and miracles. It's gonna be a revival

of my love. My love is just gonna sweep across

this nation, in every nation that would believe that I

so love the world that I gave my only begoden Son,

that whoever believes in me shall not perish but have

everlasting life. I am love. I'm not just power. I'm

not just healing. I'm not just salvation. I am love

itself and love will never fail. Love covers a multitude

of sins. Oh, I tell you, When I saw God

in that way, and I look into the scripture in

a new vision, in a new you know perspective, Abide, abide.

You know you only abide when there's no one else

to go to, nowhere else to go to So you

stay here, and you stay put, because nowhere else. Peter

even said to Jesus, where do we go? Lord? Where

do we go? You have the words of internal life.

We must come to a place in our lives. Where

we go? Yes, Lord, where do we go? Who is

like you? Who is like you? God? Where do we go?

This is home? This is heaven. Being with you is

being in heaven. So abide, stay close, stick to be

one with. There's no one else there, no one else

out there. Abide faith, We have that. Amen. Hope. It's

good to hope. And hope is serious, you know. Hope says,

I really want it. I really want this healing. I

really want to get up from the floor. I really

want to get up back on my feet and serve

the Lord again. I'm getting a little bit bored, you know,

on my bed. The Lord says, be patient, take time.

I want to speak to you some more. I want

to prepare you some more. God only has the best

in mind for us. The greatest of these three is love.

That's why we call it revolution. It turned the word

around the word love is there lov We want a

revolution of love for Malaysia, a revolution of love for Singapore,

and for all the nations that God has planted x

in and even where we are not in. For God

soul love the world. Soul loves you. He loves you.

Don't let the devil ever lie. He doesn't. So let's close.

No wonder. It's said that the greatest of this is love,

But it still takes faith to believe that He loves

you that much. So don't just look at Jesus, look

at the author and finisher of your faith, and how

does it finish. He can start faith, and faith that

starts sounds like faith for salvation, sounds like faith for healing.

But the finishing of that faith is that third one,

love that is the greatest of all. Remember and believe

with all your heart as I close, that God really

loves you and that He cares for you. He really does.

You could be on the floor, You could be having

your last five cuple dollars in your pocket. And if

this message goes further and say help more than five pounds,

five ring it five pulas, which is very small, five

rupiahs even smaller. Or maybe you just got a letter

telling you that you have been retrenched, and you say,

can a good God do this. Don't let the devil

take advantage of what God is allowing, because when God

allows it, it's going to be for the better, if

not the best. The Bible also says, cast all your

cares upon him, because he cares for you. First Peter,

chapter five, Cast all your cares upon the Lord. He cares,

He cares, He really cares. He's always thinking good, always

only good. Don't don't we do things like this for

people we love. Think about it, the people you really

really love, you really care, You think good all the time,

and you're always planning good. That's the kind of God. Myself,

I couldn't get up from the floor, But he's still

planning for my good. Are you with me? He's still thinking, Kenneth,

you will get up, and you will get back to

your bed, and I will be there for you, and

I will never leave you, nor forsake you. And in him.

Remember I think it's Romans eight twenty eight. And we

know that all things, or whole things, including me on

the floor and me on the bed, all things work

together from good to those who love God and to

those who are the called according to his purpose. He's

in the boat with you. Remember the boat story where

the winds and waves were hitting so hard that the

disciples thought they were going to drown. You know what

they did. They woke Jesus up, who was actually asleep,

and the first thing they said is, don't you even care? Lord,

don't you even care? And so howevers could have been

struggling like that, being bombarded by the devil with the

thought God doesn't care. I'm here to tell you he does.

I'm here to tell you that ninety percent of the

swelling on my knee has gone. And this morning I

woke up feeling ninety percent better on my right leg.

I went to the bathroom on my own, did everything

on my own. Pass Andro just helped me a little

bit as I took my shower and then did my

quiet time. The lot spoke to me some more, found myself,

you know, walking hopping really on my good leg. To

the second therapy that happened just an hour and a

half ago, And it was a good therapy, and I

feel much better. And I have movements now on my

injured leg. And couldn't move it a few days ago,

but you know, with the therapist's help, it could move.

And I said, I just have to give you this

message that God is not done. He is in the

boat with us, He cares hallelujah. He will not allow

us to sink. He will not allow you to sink.
