  1. Hello, ex Church. It's a real privilege, pleasure and honor

  2. to be able to do this recording. I'm so thankful

  3. for the opportunity. As most of you know that I

  4. injured myself a couple of months ago, and right now

  5. I am recording this message from my own home. Right now,

  6. as I'm recording this, I'm still on crutches. Thank God,

  7. this one crutch. Now I've learned to go from two

  8. crutches to one, and so there's improvements every day. I

  9. am being strengthened by the Lord every day, and want

  10. to thank you all for your prayers, for your love.

  11. Quite a few of you, you know, always thinking about

  12. me and Pasasandra, and you buy us food and you

  13. treat us to LUNs. You bring the food over to

  14. our house and then sometimes even dinner. We have a

  15. sister here at excert. The Communi who you know, are

  16. always buying us fruits and one time, even Durian, you

  17. brought me so much joy, and I'm very very thankful.

  18. In fact, one brother Jazz recently even brought us breakfast

  19. as he was having his own breakfast in his favorite restaurant,

  20. which happens to be also my favorite breakfast place, he

  21. thought about us, and he you know, text us and

  22. said could I bring you breakfast? And so thank you,

  23. thank you, thank you every one of you for thinking

  24. about us, for praying for us. I want to be

  25. able to just first of all, say thank you to

  26. Jesus for his grace, his mercy. Every day I can

  27. sense his presence, his love, his healing is moving in

  28. and through me. And though I would love that, you know,

  29. the healing would have been faster. I would have loved

  30. it just to be within just you know, a week

  31. or two or a month, or maybe just six weeks,

  32. you know. But now at the time of this recording

  33. is already coming into the eighth week. But I've learned

  34. some things from the Lord, some things I want to

  35. share with you today. And God has encouraged me to

  36. be patient, to wait for his timing because he knows

  37. what's best. He knows the things that he wants to

  38. show me and teach me and tell me, even in

  39. this condition I'm in right now. But anyway, the good

  40. news is that I am growing stronger each and every day,

  41. and I want to thank you all for your love

  42. and prays. Let's continue on the topic this year of

  43. course five. Our theme is disciple first or disciples first.

  44. The message I want to bring across to you is

  45. that God chooses broken people. God chooses broken people. It

  46. is painful to be under the breaking process of the Lord.

  47. All of us will have to go through kind of breaking.

  48. All the other p could be drastic in a way,

  49. others may not be. So. God knows. God knows who

  50. needs what, God knows who can take what? God knows

  51. it all, And He's allowed me to go through a

  52. short season of being broken, even under the supervision of

  53. His love. I must say. The Bible says in Psalm

  54. fifty one, verse seventeen, the sacrifices of God are a

  55. broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. These, Oh God,

  56. you will not despise. God chooses broken people because he

  57. wants to use broken people for his glory. Broken people

  58. make the best leaders, Broken people make the best musicians,

  59. Broken people make the best preachers. Those of you who

  60. have preached your best messages before you remember them, well,

  61. you would agree with me. That is not eloquent messages

  62. and messages that are full of wisdom and PhD material

  63. that made your best message. No, you came from a

  64. place of brokenness, from a storm, from a hardship, from

  65. a pain, from a testing, from a suffering, and through

  66. that you saw the reality of God in your life,

  67. more real than you've ever seen him. And then a

  68. message brewed in your heart, and through that pain, that

  69. message was perfected. So even the best preachers are broken people.

  70. The best counselors. Sometimes you could hear from a counselor

  71. who's well trained, maybe even a doctor so and so,

  72. but you could hear from another person who has no

  73. titles in front of their name, but they went through

  74. what you went through. And a counselor that's well trained

  75. may need three sessions to get through to you, whereas

  76. a person who's gone through what you have gone through,

  77. or maybe even worse, just needed three minutes with you,

  78. just thirteen minutes with you and your heart's connect. Because

  79. the best counselors are those who are broken. The best

  80. missionaries are broken people. The best servants, maybe even the

  81. best employees, and the best bosses are broken people. They understand,

  82. they understand what people are going through. God needs to

  83. break us before he can use us. The brokenness, the

  84. greater the use, the best we could ever offer to God,

  85. and even to the world will come from our brokenness

  86. more than our beauty. The best think about it. You

  87. know the people around you, the people you know, the

  88. best advice they gave you, the best service they gave

  89. you really did not just come from you know that

  90. nothing was wrong in their lives, but because they had

  91. gone through that, and that's why they were able to

  92. understand you. Service you love you, show you compassion, show

  93. you mercy, show you patience, show you love. They were

  94. able to give you the money you needed, even when

  95. they didn't have the money themselves. Broken people are like that,

  96. and God loves to use them. I want to encourage

  97. all of us. Don't look for shortcuts. Learn to surrender.

  98. I'll say it again, don't look for short that's in

  99. your time of breaking, in your time of pain, in

  100. your time of suffering. Many of us would like it faster, quicker.

  101. Come on, Lord, why take three months where you can

  102. take three days? Better's still three hours? You know we

  103. want it quick, touching goal, smart tech. You know RFID quickness,

  104. Let's go, let's go. You know no one wants to

  105. wait in line. I wanted this to be quicker already

  106. at this time, I've had to cancel about four or

  107. five meetings. Surely my pa, Elder Shirley, had to call

  108. Malaysian Airlines already now three four times, you know, to

  109. postpone my etiquettes. It's not convenient and it's not easy

  110. to tell the people who have been waiting for you

  111. to come to speak to them, no, so sorry, I can't,

  112. and I'm recovering from an injury, you know, and of

  113. course by faith. At the end of June, I'm planning

  114. to take up this invitation where the people in Bintulu

  115. are waiting for me to come to share the word

  116. of God with them. And I told them, you know,

  117. please look for another speaker, and they said no, We

  118. prayed about it, and we really still believe it's you.

  119. But you know from this recording to them, it's about

  120. a month, and I know miracles can happen in the month,

  121. but you know, the doctors will tell you need at

  122. least one moment. Of course, we thank God for doctors,

  123. but we also have doctor Jesus and we want to

  124. hear from him. And the Lord said to me, go ahead,

  125. and both those etiquettes, trust me and go do this.

  126. Let the faith of the people in Bintulu and your

  127. faith combined and I will answer. So let's see what

  128. the lot will do. By the time you get to

  129. watch this message, we will know, because it'll be a

  130. week later after this that I will have to be

  131. in Bintulu by the grace of God. People are looking

  132. for shortcuts, but what God is really wanting us to

  133. learn is to learn to just surrender. Say Lord, you know,

  134. you know how long you need, and as soon as

  135. God is done, will be done. As soon as God

  136. has accomplished what he wants to do, our suffering at

  137. least for now will finish, Our pain will be healed,

  138. our brokenness will be complete. Learn to surrender. God knows

  139. his timing. God knows whether he needs one more week

  140. to teach you something, two more weeks to show you something,

  141. three more weeks to review something to you. He knows,

  142. and when he's done, he's done. He's a good God.

  143. You know. The people around us must also learn to

  144. support when we are down, but never short change or

  145. short circuit the work of God's breaking in our lives.

  146. You know, as loved ones, we're there to support each other,

  147. but sometimes we can also suggest things to the people

  148. who am going through suffering. You know, I know sometimes

  149. when a person is going through a suffering in a

  150. church and he has thoughts in his mind or her mind,

  151. I want to leave this church. I want to leave

  152. this church, or I want to leave this company, I

  153. want to leave this situation. But God is not done

  154. with you yet. And then you have good meaning friends,

  155. good intention family members who say just leave, just leave,

  156. just stop, just go, like the wife of Joe who say,

  157. just curse God and die. And Joe thankfully had the

  158. wisdom to answer his wife this is not the way.

  159. Sometimes we just have to wait it out because God knows.

  160. And so, as a family member or a friend, do

  161. not short change your friends learning and growth and development.

  162. Do not short change gone because He wants to speak

  163. to that friend or family member of yours. So don't

  164. be so quick to throw in the tower or to

  165. give up, because God knows, learn to surrender. In fact,

  166. the breaking process of our loved ones very often is

  167. also in one way or another hour breaking. You know,

  168. I know, my wife has been taking care of me

  169. the last six eight weeks, and you know already she's

  170. quite busy, but you know it's added on now that

  171. she has to take care of me. And there were

  172. times where I saw a breaking woman even in her

  173. life self. You can already imagine that a person could

  174. herself even break down here and there and be really,

  175. really tired. And sometimes you know, I don't I don't

  176. want to stay home, you know, staying home with me

  177. always right, like, I can almost imagine she just wants

  178. to go out now, she wants to go breathe a

  179. fresh air outside. I understand that. But even as love wants,

  180. we two go through a breaking. But the Lord is

  181. there for all of us now. The apostle Paul kept

  182. getting broken, and God kept using him for greater things

  183. until he realized this is what he learned. He said,

  184. when I'm weak, then I'm strong. Before God even used Paul,

  185. God said in Acts nine fifteen to sixteen, But the

  186. Lord said to him, this was God talking to his servant, go,

  187. for he is the chosen vessel of mind. So God

  188. was speaking to his servant to go and speak to Saul,

  189. who later on became Paul. And of course the servant

  190. of the Lord was saying, no, this guy, Saul, he's

  191. here to create havoc in the church. And God says no, no, Listen, listen,

  192. go for he's a chosen vessel of mine to bear

  193. my name before gentiles, kings and the children of Israel.

  194. For I will show him how many things he must

  195. suffer for my name's sake. Listen to that. God already

  196. had it in his plan that Paul, who was one Saul,

  197. had to suffer. Suffering is part of God's plan, part

  198. of God's preparation. You know, this cave moment, this season

  199. that I'm in right now, recovering and having my own

  200. sufferings and pain and all that. It's not just a

  201. time of pain. It's a time of preparation, like all

  202. caves in the Bible were David was in the cave

  203. and Elijah was in the cave. Cave can speak about isolation,

  204. he can speak about just you know, a hiding place, refuge.

  205. He can also speak about preparation. God wants to prepare us.

  206. God was preparing Saul to become Paul through suffering. Someone

  207. said before, if you really want to be used by God,

  208. there is a price to pay. I want you to

  209. get that into your spirit, if you really want to

  210. be used by God. In fact, the other way around

  211. is if God really wants to use you is the

  212. same thing. If God really wants to use Paul, he said,

  213. I will show him how many things he must suffer.

  214. But if you, yourself, in your heart, really wanted to

  215. do greater things for the Lord, I want you to

  216. understand this. There is a price to pay across to carry.

  217. Let's look at another scripture talking about Paul again. Are

  218. they ministers of Christ? I speak as a fool. I

  219. am more it labors more abundant in stripes above measure,

  220. in prisons, more frequently, in depths, often from the Jews.

  221. Five times I receive forty stripes minus one. Three times

  222. I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three

  223. times I was shipwrecked a night and a day. I

  224. have been in the deep, in journeys, often in Paris,

  225. of waters, in Paris of robbers, in perils of my

  226. own countrymen, in perils of the gentiles, in perils in

  227. the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in

  228. the sea, in perils among false brethren, in weariness and toil,

  229. in sleeplessness, often in hunger and thirsts, in fastings, often

  230. in cold and nakedness. Besides the other things, what comes

  231. upon me daily my deep concern for all the churches.

  232. This is found in Second Corinthians, Chapter eleven, verse twenty

  233. three to twenty eight. Let's read another portion of scripture,

  234. also in Paul's life. Though I also might have confidence

  235. in the flesh, if anyone else thinks he may have

  236. confidence in the flesh, I'm more so circumcised the eighth

  237. day of the Stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin,

  238. a Hebrew of the Hebrews concerning the Law of Pharisee,

  239. concerning zeal persecuting the Church, concerning the righteousness which is

  240. in the Law blameless. But what things were gain to me?

  241. These I have counted lass for Christ. Yet indeed I

  242. also count all things loss for the excellence of the

  243. knowledge of Christ, Jesus my Lord, for whom I have

  244. suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish,

  245. that I may gain Christ and be found in Him,

  246. not having my own righteousness which is from the Law,

  247. but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness

  248. which is from God by faith, that I may know Him,

  249. and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of

  250. His sufferings. Yes, friends, it is part of God's plan

  251. part of God's purpose being conformed to his death. If

  252. by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from

  253. the dead. You know, in this world, people go for skill,

  254. they go for talent, strength, experience. Oh, people go for

  255. brains and beauty, ability, and of affluence. That's how the

  256. world works, right, isn't that true? That's how we choose.

  257. God chooses broken people, but we choose perfect people. We

  258. choose people with all the skills and all the talent.

  259. When God wanted wanted to choose musicians, he chooses broken

  260. musicians because broken musicians bring about the best, most beautiful

  261. music and lyrics. You know, Compare one who has never

  262. suffered and he writes a song, And compare and compare

  263. to one who has suffered so much pain and brokenness

  264. and he writes a song or she writes a song.

  265. See which of the songs touches you more, goes further

  266. ministers and gives God more glory. When broken people step

  267. up to do what God has called them to do,

  268. they create more than just excellence and eloquence. They release

  269. an anointing, don't they, As David did when he ministered

  270. to King Saul with music. David didn't have perfection. David,

  271. you know, was probably rejected many times. The father almost

  272. forgot that he had the eighth son. You know. When

  273. the prophet asked for all the sons to pass by,

  274. and God was choosing the next king had the prophet

  275. had to ask, do you have one anymore sons? And

  276. if other you, oh, yeah, one more. He's not around

  277. his he's out there taking care of a few sheep.

  278. And the prophet provert Samuel, said, we won't sit down

  279. until he comes. Youngest RADDI looking, you know, inexperience, probably

  280. the one most bullied. In fact, when he went to

  281. see the brothers in the in the field where war

  282. was taking place with Goliath, you know, the brothers immediately

  283. scolded him and said, you know you're proud, you're insolent,

  284. and David has said to say, no, no, no, no,

  285. you know, isn't there a cause? Right? David had to

  286. explain to his brothers, I'm not here to be proud,

  287. and I'm just I'm just so upset with this giant

  288. who is defying the armies of God. You know, So

  289. you can imagine what David had when he was growing up.

  290. Maybe all kinds of bullying from his brothers. I don't know,

  291. but David played the harp, and he didn't just play

  292. as one who was known to be a top musician.

  293. But when he was playing, annoying team came forth. The

  294. annoying team came forth. And even right now speaking to you,

  295. I really believe that anointing will come through all the

  296. church plants listening to me now. The anointing the Bible says,

  297. will break the yoke. And right now I pause for

  298. a moment just to say, in Jesus' name, I call

  299. forth the anointing of God coming from a broken life. Yes,

  300. I am a broken man brokenness the last couple of months.

  301. You know, there's a lot of things that God has

  302. dealt with me, and I'm so thankful to him. I

  303. don't regret having this time with him because the Lord

  304. has gone deeper. The Lord has done things through this

  305. brokenness that I believe has brought about an anointing, and

  306. that one you just speak that anointing over you right

  307. now to break right from the top of your head,

  308. your mind. Every thought that's not from God, I break

  309. it right now, every depression, every suicidal thought, every thought

  310. of worry that is bringing you down every fear in

  311. the mighty name of Jesus, I break it all the

  312. way down to your heart. Fear in the heart, and

  313. all kinds of bitterness in the heart, and all kinds

  314. of unforgiveness in the heart, and all kinds of anger

  315. in the heart, all the way down to your feet. Hallelujah.

  316. Where your feet do not dare to walk where God

  317. wants you to walk, You shall walk from this day onwards.

  318. And the Bible says, wherever your feet will trod upon,

  319. I will give you that land. Amen. So do not fear,

  320. and do not step back, and do not stay paralyzed

  321. in one position, but walk by faith, not by sight.

  322. May the annointing of the Holy Spirit come upon your

  323. families as well. May the family. May the families are

  324. represented here, you know, begin to experience an anointing from

  325. the Lord. David played and anointing came and remove the distressing,

  326. depressing spirit from King Saul. Amen. May that happen to

  327. us as well. Disciple First. Disciple first is truly counterculture

  328. to go against the ways of the world that always

  329. just looks at perfection and beauty, talent and skill. God

  330. looks at the heart and we already read it that

  331. a broken heart, a contrast spirit, these sacrifices, God will

  332. not despise, He will not turn away from it. He

  333. will not turn his face away. He will receive you,

  334. he will choose you, He will use you. You know, friends,

  335. something of God is produced in us only through brokenness.

  336. That's why it has to happen. It only happens, you know.

  337. Like for example, when you think about the pearl, the

  338. pearl can only be formed no other way except that

  339. some irritant, some dirt goes into the oyster. And what

  340. happens is that there is a chemical that is released,

  341. and a protection mechanism comes about, and it begins to

  342. form a beautiful, precious pearl. That pearl doesn't happen without

  343. the irritation. That which God wants to bring about in

  344. our lives, that is more precious than God, doesn't happen

  345. until brokenness happens. It cannot be obtained in any other way.

  346. And that which is produced in us is exactly what

  347. God needs to fulfill his plans and purposes in and

  348. through our lives. What is God after? It could be humility,

  349. It could be compassion, It could be patience. It could

  350. be respect, It could be disciplined, it could be submission,

  351. it could be forgiveness, the ability to show mercy and

  352. not be so judgmental. When we don't go through brokenness,

  353. we still hold on, you know, to things that we feel.

  354. We are we have the right to feel, and we

  355. feel like you know, that guy doesn't deserve this. He

  356. doesn't deserve my forgiveness, He doesn't deserve my mercy. You know,

  357. we still have an amount of arrogance, but we don't

  358. call it arrogance. We call it and cover it with

  359. another name and give it an excuse, and see, I

  360. have every right to feel this way. Blah blah blah.

  361. But it's only when we are broken that something is produced.

  362. We begin to see things in a very different light.

  363. In the end, it's really the breaking of our will.

  364. Our will is very strong, so breaking happens so that

  365. our will can be broken, so that God's will can

  366. be done in our lives. Remember what Jesus said, nevertheless,

  367. not my wheel, but yours be done. How many of

  368. you have ever seen a beautiful painting of wild horses. Oh,

  369. they are the most beautiful things. Just you know, running

  370. by the sea, or you know by the hills in

  371. a group of horses. Wild horses running all different colors, white, brown, black,

  372. you know, running together with their mane and their tail,

  373. you know, blowing in the wind. Wild horses are only

  374. good for paintings. You will never be able to ride

  375. a wild horse into war. A general will never ride

  376. a horse that has never been tested. And what is

  377. that horse that has been? A horse that has been tested,

  378. has been broken means that the horse's will is not

  379. a wild will, but a will totally submitted to the

  380. master who rides it for his purpose. Don't just be

  381. a beautiful painting where people just go and look at

  382. you and go like wow ooh my miye is so nice.

  383. But no, godly use. God wants to use you. God

  384. wants to use me. Let's not be wild horses, but

  385. horses whose will has been broken so that we can

  386. serve the Lord. He turns us left, We go left.

  387. He turns us right, We go right. He says, go straight,

  388. We go straight. He stops, he pulls, you know, on us,

  389. and we stop. We don't keep riding on otherwise we

  390. will cause much damage to the master and even to

  391. the ministry. You know, when breaking is complete, when you

  392. don't go back to who you were before. This breaking

  393. has been going on for weeks, months, Some even might

  394. tell me pastor has gone on for three years. When

  395. God will bring the breaking to an end? And I

  396. still pray the faster the better. Okay, nobody wants it

  397. to be prolonged, not even God. But there is something

  398. that God is after, that pearl of great price. When

  399. is this breaking complete? When you don't go back to

  400. the way you were before. If you find that after

  401. the breaking of a few weeks, maybe you know, let's say,

  402. for example, you were rude to your wife, or maybe

  403. you were so impatient, very impatient with your children, and

  404. then you find you know, you are humbled for a

  405. few weeks, and then by the fourth week, you know

  406. you think that Okay, now I think I'm better. I

  407. think I'm better. I think I'm better. Okay, God, I

  408. think I've learned it. Let's already got Now, can you

  409. please end the breaking? And then you know the law

  410. is very silent. And then three hours later your children

  411. do something and then you find yourself bucking at them,

  412. scolding them in a way that it's hot tempered, or

  413. you suddenly do something to your wife dead. It was

  414. like that before. But through the breaking of the last

  415. so many weeks or so many months, you found you

  416. found yourself a change man. And you thought this, just

  417. because you experienced some change, you're you're you're, You're good

  418. to go. And then the Lord is smiling up in

  419. heaven saying not quite yet. Hold on a minute, Hold

  420. on a minute, I still have got I still have

  421. got one or two more tests. And then you catch

  422. yourself going like, oh my, I haven't lost my temper.

  423. I haven't barked at my wife. I haven't said a

  424. bad word. Uh, I haven't you know, done this or

  425. that that I wasn't proud of before. I haven't done

  426. it for weeks. But why suddenly you know? Because maybe

  427. it's still in you. It's still in you, and God

  428. is still working. So really, at the end of day,

  429. don't tell God when he should finish. He knows when

  430. he's finished. And this is what you need to be

  431. looking for. You look for this. I don't want to

  432. go back to who I was before, And through all

  433. the testing you find, Yeah, I think I really have

  434. got it now. I think I really have got a

  435. better hold of my temper now. I think I got

  436. a better hold of my mouth. Now I think I've

  437. got a better hold of my thoughts. Now I think

  438. I've got a better control of the way I react.

  439. Now I am really changed. No, no, but not because

  440. I say I'm changed, but because God allowed the time. Again,

  441. Please don't short change God. Don't be impatient. Learn to surrender.

  442. God knows exactly. Okay, there will be a vision two,

  443. if not a virgin tree of you and me. It

  444. will be a much better version. Somebody say, amen, so

  445. much better version, and we will be more ready to

  446. do God's will. Amen. Now remember the woman Mary of

  447. Bethany who broke the allah bastar flass. What happened? You know,

  448. it was so costly. The disciples even thought, what a waste.

  449. That's how the world sees it. The world might even

  450. look at me now going through a few months of recovery. Oh,

  451. what a waste, you know, what a waste was the

  452. Kenna is just at the house, you know, wasting his

  453. life away. What a waste of three months, you know,

  454. the kind of thing, What a waste. People might look

  455. at your life you go to what a waste? You know,

  456. maybe you had to spend money on this and that,

  457. or or on medical bills. And I don't know what

  458. you had to spend your money and time and energy on,

  459. you know. And sometimes you might even say, what a waste?

  460. What are ways of my life? You know? But Jesus

  461. doesn't see that way. The woman broke it takes the

  462. breaking alabaster flask filled with costly spikenard perfume, you know,

  463. when she broke that and anointed Jesus head with that

  464. precious oil. Can you imagine the fragrance. It's not just

  465. Jesus that could smell it. It's not just a woman

  466. who could smell it. It's not just the people who

  467. are seated nearby. If you want to fill a room

  468. with the fragrance of the Lord, then take the opportunity

  469. that God has given you and I the opportunity of breaking.

  470. And let that breaking not bring bitterness, not bring anger

  471. and a shout what a waste. But let that breaking

  472. is happening in your heart and my heart, be one

  473. that will bring about a costly fragrance, a beautiful fragrance,

  474. not just for your family, Oh my friends, is going

  475. to fill the room right now in the name of

  476. Jesus where you're seated is going to fill the whole hall.

  477. It's going to fill your classroom, it's going to fill

  478. your office place. Your boss is going to be seated,

  479. you know, thirty meters away in his office, and go like,

  480. what's that smell? Is a fragrance from a broken life

  481. and being in Bethany, says Mark, chapter fourteen, verse three,

  482. six eight to nine. Being in Bethany at the house

  483. of Simon the Lepper, as he sat at the table,

  484. a woman came, having an alabastera flask of very costly

  485. oil of spikee noot. Then she broke the flowers, hallelujah,

  486. and poured it on his head. There was no other way,

  487. ladies and gentlemen. Today, of course, in our perfume bottles

  488. we can all just open the cap. But those days

  489. it was there was no other way. There was no

  490. other way for this fragrance to be experienced by everybody,

  491. except that the thing that helped the fragrance be broken.

  492. She broke the flowers and poured it on his head.

  493. But Jesus said, let her alone. Why do you trouble her?

  494. She has done a good work for me. You know, friends,

  495. when I think about brokenness, I think about this very

  496. thing that God allows is not just for us, but

  497. it's for him. Think about it for a moment, because

  498. too many of us always think about ourselves. Right, Why me?

  499. Why now? Why are the inconvenience? Why so hard? Why

  500. the burden on my loved ones? Why? And it's a

  501. lot of us me. And it's not totally wrong, because

  502. it's natural. But the supernatural way of seeing it is

  503. that God allows breaking and brokenness because at the end

  504. of the day, it's for him. It's for his will,

  505. it's for his plans, his purposes, and he has got

  506. great plans for your life and mine. Can I hear

  507. a good amen? He has wonderful purposes. He has a

  508. powerful will. But it is his will, not yours. So

  509. the breaking is again one more time, the breaking of

  510. our will, so that we can do his. So this

  511. is what Jesus said, one more time. She has done

  512. a good work for come on, she has done a

  513. good work for me, for the law himself. She has

  514. done what she could. She has come beforehand to annoying.

  515. There you go again, what annoyed? That's what breaking is

  516. for my body for burial, As surely I say to you,

  517. wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world. What

  518. this woman has done will also be told as a

  519. memorial for her. As a memorial for her. Remember that

  520. Jesus was let into the wilderness to be tempted. But

  521. remember this also, I said him before. I'll say it again.

  522. What God allows, Satan will take advantage. So when God

  523. allowed me to go through this injury and to go

  524. through this time of recovery and through this time of waiting,

  525. and I have been in pain, and I have been broken,

  526. and I have been, you know, crying out to God.

  527. I have all those times up and down and yes

  528. I'm okay today, not okay, Tomorrow okay, the next day

  529. not so okay. The day after. You know, I thought,

  530. you know, I was done. God's not done with me yet.

  531. And you know why, God, why so long? Okay, As

  532. God allows this, the flies will come. You know, like

  533. when you cooked a really good meal, you put the

  534. plate of good food, good smelling food, on the table,

  535. and then the flies start coming. The flies didn't come

  536. when the dish is not done. So when God is

  537. allowing this to be cooked up, putting all the ingredients

  538. in there right whatever it is, good smelling dish, it's

  539. going to be tasting so good. You know, by the

  540. time you let this dish be tasted by the world,

  541. everyone is going to be blessed. But the flies will come. Then,

  542. Before that way are the flies. They're not here. They

  543. know when to come. Satan like a fly by Elzeba.

  544. The Bible calls him Lord of the flies. He is

  545. a fly, He's a lord of the flies. All right.

  546. We don't like flies in our kitchen. We don't like

  547. flies in our hobe and our lives. Right when you

  548. see all those countries where there's poverty and there's illness

  549. and all that kind of stuff, you see flies is

  550. coming on to people's faces, faces of children. Right, that's

  551. a very demonic picture, really, And we don't want flies,

  552. We don't want The Lord of flies bells them, but

  553. we don't want him. But he will come. The Lord

  554. would allow, and Satan will take advantage. Remember the forbidden

  555. tree in the garden of Eden. God allowed the tree

  556. to be there, you know, and that very one tree

  557. broke Adam and Eve. God allowed it. But who was

  558. taking advantage of it? Satan, don't listen to his lives.

  559. God would allow you. Some people are stip be asking

  560. U today, why did God allow the tree to be

  561. there if he knew that he shouldn't be eaten. Well,

  562. that's how people get broken, meaning to say that Adam

  563. and Eve didn't need to sin. But just by saying no,

  564. I can't take this fruit, No I can't, that's a

  565. level of brokenness because if you can say yes to everything,

  566. then we don't have to feel pain suffering, We don't

  567. have to feel inhibited, we don't have to feel anything

  568. except yay. I can do anything I want to do.

  569. I'm lord of my life. You know. I can eat anything.

  570. You know I can spend my money on anything. I

  571. can go out with any girl, go out with any guy.

  572. I don't care. You know this is my life. You

  573. know I'm lord on and God of my life. Right. No,

  574. God put a tree there to say no, you are

  575. not God of everything. I am God of everything. And

  576. so just by saying no and bending your will to

  577. God's will, that's a form of brokenness. But listen, the

  578. devil came and tried to short change that brokenness and

  579. told them benieve that they can do anything, they can

  580. be like God. So instead of being broken God's way,

  581. they were broken by Satan out by a lie. Don't

  582. listen to Satan's lives. Now, let's look at Luke four one,

  583. thirteen and fourteen. Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit,

  584. returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit

  585. into the wilderness. Or even Jesus himself, the son of God,

  586. was brought led by the Holy Spirit into a place

  587. of breaking. That's what wilderness and desert is is not

  588. a party, is not a buffet. It's a place of isolation, nothingness, dryness, uncomfortable.

  589. But Jesus was led by the spirit. Now, when the

  590. devil had ended every temptation, says verse thirteen, he departed

  591. from Jesus until an opportune time. Now I underline opportune

  592. time because I have recognized opportune time to mean that

  593. Satan came when Jesus was being broken in the wilderness.

  594. That is the first opportune time. And so the next

  595. opportune time will be when Jesus will go through breaking again.

  596. And so the devil is an opportunist. He will take

  597. opportunity in an opportune time. But maybe you didn't understand

  598. what opportunity time time meant is because we don't go

  599. through breaking every day. We don't go to breaking even

  600. every year, or maybe some level of it, but not

  601. always painful, not always desperate. So the devil knows that

  602. he can only get to you, can he can really

  603. really get to you at the opportune time, meaning the

  604. opportunity and time that God allowed something to happen. That

  605. is his opportune time. God allowed it. Otherwise you will

  606. always be protected by God. Right, You will always to

  607. be covered by God. Right, God would now nothing bad

  608. to happen to you. But when God allows something that

  609. seems to be bad in the eyes of the world,

  610. you see because at all other times you're always covered,

  611. you're always provided for. And then sometimes God just allows something,

  612. you know again that looks bad in the eyes of

  613. the world. But in God's eyes, he has a plan.

  614. It's called suffering, it's called pain. Yes, it's called cave,

  615. it's called wilderness. Yes, nobody likes it. That opportune time

  616. Satan is waiting for because that's when he believes he

  617. can get you. Are you going to go into a

  618. breaking time now, a brokenness, a painful, suffering time? Now,

  619. be careful because this is this is an opportune time.

  620. For Satan as well, but don't allow him to have

  621. any opportunity. Amen. But you and I can take the

  622. opportunity in Christ to do what. Let me read the

  623. last verse there, verse fourteen. Then Jesus return in the

  624. power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of him

  625. went out through all the surrounding region. We will come

  626. back with power, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters. Are

  627. you listening to me? Do you hear my heart? I

  628. also believe in Christ that I will come out of

  629. this suffering, out of this brokenness, out of this cave,

  630. out of you know, my time of recovery, with the

  631. power of the Holy Spirit. Now, if I read this

  632. to you again, you will see three things. It says

  633. in verse one, Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit,

  634. returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit.

  635. So verse one already says filed and lead. Why is

  636. the Bible so specific? Because sometimes we can be filled

  637. by the spirit, and many of you are, but not lead.

  638. It's not complete. We all want to be filled with

  639. the Holy Spirit, but we also want to be led.

  640. So don't just be filled, everybody, Come on, in the

  641. name of Jesus. Let me pause for a moment.

  642. Again, all of you who are filled with the Holy Spirit,

  643. now lift up your hands or rabaka shanda albaka CD,

  644. and I pray that God will feel you more and more.

  645. Even those of you who are not filled, lift up

  646. your hands. Say yes, Lord, I decide to be filled.

  647. I decide to be filed. I want to be filled

  648. with more and more of you Holy Spirit. But number two,

  649. we want to be led by you, Holy Spirit. Lead

  650. every decision, every direction that we can't take or should take.

  651. Oh God, we want you not only to fill us,

  652. but to lead us. But number three, listen it. There's

  653. a difference being filled, There's a difference being led, And finally,

  654. there's a difference being or having the power of the Spirit.

  655. Feel lead and empowered. Lord, in the name of Jesus,

  656. I pray for everyone lifting up their hands again. Let's

  657. do it again. Oh my God. This year is the

  658. year of power. This the year is a year old God,

  659. where we will preach with power. We will sing with power,

  660. Oh God. We will serve with power. Lord. We will

  661. go to our workplace with power. We will go to

  662. school with power, Oh God. We will do all things,

  663. not just as a normal human being, but with supernatural power.

  664. In the mighty name of Jesus we have prayed, and

  665. everybody say Amen. Amen, the Lord bless you. I hope

  666. to see you soon. Take care, have a great weak ahead.

  667. God bless
