Hello, ex Church. It's a real privilege, pleasure, and honor
-
to be able to do this recording. I'm so thankful
-
for the opportunity. As most of you know that I
-
injured myself a couple months ago and right now I
-
am recording this message from my own home. Right now,
-
as I'm recording this, I'm still on crutches. Thank God,
-
this one crutch. Now I've learned to go from two
-
crutches to one, and so there's improvements every day. I
-
am being strengthened by the Lord every day. And I
-
want to thank you all for your prayers, for your love.
-
Some things I want to share with you today. And
-
God has encouraged me to be patient, to wait for
-
his timing because he knows what's best. He knows the
-
things that he wants to show me and teach me
-
and tell me, even in this condition I'm in right now.
-
The message I want to bring across to you is
-
that God chooses broken people. God chooses broken people. It
-
is painful to be under the breaking process of the Lord.
-
All of us will have to go through one kind
-
of breaking or the other. Now, let's look at Luke
-
for one thirteen and fourteen then Jesus, being filled with
-
the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led
-
by the Spirit into the wilderness. Or even Jesus himself,
-
the son of God, was brought led by the Holy
-
Spirit into a place of breaking. That's what wilderness and
-
as it is, is not a party, is not a buffet.
-
It's a place of isolation, nothingness, uncomfortable. But Jesus was
-
led by the Spirit. Now, when the devil had ended
-
every temptation, says verse thirteen, he departed from Jesus until
-
an opportune time. Now I underline opportune time because I
-
have recognized opportune time to mean that Satan came when
-
Jesus was being broken in the wilderness. That is the
-
first opportune time. And so the next opportune time will
-
be when Jesus will go through breaking again. And so
-
the devil is an opportunist. He will take opportunity in
-
an opportune time. But maybe you didn't understand what otunite
-
time meant. You see, because we don't go through breaking
-
every day. We don't go to breaking even every year,
-
or maybe some level of it, but not always painful,
-
not always desperate. So the Devil knows that he can
-
only get to you. Can he can really get to
-
you at the opportundon time, meaning the opportunity and time
-
that God allows something to happen, that is his opportune
-
time God allowed it. Otherwise you will always be protected
-
by God, right, You will always be covered by God. Right,
-
and God would now nothing bad to happen to you.
-
But when God allows something that seems to be bad
-
in the eyes of the world, you see because at
-
all other times you're always covered, you're always provided for.
-
And then sometimes God just allows something, you know again
-
that looks bad in the eyes of the world. But
-
in God's eyes, he has a plan. It's called suffering,
-
it's called pain. Yes, it's called cave, it's called wilderness. Yes,
-
nobody likes it. That opportune time Satan is waiting for
-
because that's when he believes he can get you. Remember
-
that Jesus was let into the wilderness to be tempted.
-
But remember this also, I said he before, I'll say
-
it again. What God allows, Satan will take advantage. So
-
when God allowed me to go through this injury and
-
to go through this time of recovery and through this
-
tyme of waiting, and I have been in pain, and
-
I have been broken, and I have been, you know,
-
crying out to God. I have all those times up
-
and down, and yes I'm okay today, not okay, Tomorrow okay,
-
the next day not so okay. The day after. You know,
-
I thought, you know, I was done. God's not done
-
with me yet. And you know why, God, why so long? Okay?
-
As God allows this, the flies will come. You know,
-
like when you cooked a really good meal, you put
-
the plate of good food, good smelling food, on the table,
-
and then the flies start coming. The flies didn't come
-
when the dish is not done. So when God is
-
allowing this to be cooked out, putting all the ingredients
-
in there, right whatever it is, good smelling dish, it's
-
going to be tasting so good. You know, by the
-
time you let this dish be tasted by the world,
-
everyone is going to be blessed. But the flies will come. Then,
-
before that way are the flies? They're not here. They
-
know when to come. Satan like a fly. By Elzeba,
-
the Bible calls him lord of the flies. He is
-
a fly, He's the Lord of the flies. All right.
-
We don't like flies in our kitchen. We don't like
-
flies in our home and our lives. All right, when
-
you see all those countries where there's poverty and there's
-
illness and all that kind of stuff, you see flies
-
is coming onto people's faces, faces of children. Right, that's
-
a very demonic picture, really, And we don't want flies.
-
We don't want The Lord of flies bells them, but
-
we don't want him. But he will come. The Lord
-
will allow, and Satan will take advantage. Remember the forbidden
-
tree in the garden of Eden. God allowed the tree
-
to be there, you know, and that very one tree
-
broke Adam. And if God allowed it, but who was
-
taking advantage of it? Satan? Don't listen to his lives.
-
God would allow you. Some people are simply asking unt today,
-
why did God allow the tree to be there if
-
he knew that he shouldn't be eaten? Well, that's how
-
people get broken, meaning to say that Adam and Eve
-
didn't need to sin, but just by saying no, I
-
can't take this fruit, no I can't, that's a level
-
of brokenness. Because if you can say yes to everything,
-
then we don't have to feel pain, suffering, we don't
-
have to feel inhibited. We don't have to feel anything
-
except yay. I can do anything I want to do.
-
I'm lord of my life. You know. I can eat anything.
-
You know, I can spend my money on anything. I
-
can go out with any girl, go out with any guy.
-
I don't care. You know this is my life. You
-
know I'm lord on and God of my life. Right. No,
-
God put a tree there to say no, you are
-
not God of everything. I am God of everything. And
-
so just by saying no and bending your wheel to
-
God's real that's a form of brokenness. But listen, the
-
devil came and tried to short change that brokenness and
-
told them believe that they can do anything, they can
-
be like God. So instead of being broken God's way,
-
they were broken by Satan ultimately by a lie. Don't
-
listen to Satan's lines. Are you going to go into
-
a breaking time? Now? A brokenness, a painful suffering time? Now?
-
Be careful because this is this is an opportunity time
-
for Satan as well. But don't allow him to have
-
any opportunity. Amen. But you and I can take the
-
opportunity in Christ to do what. Let me read the
-
last verse there, verse fourteen. Then Jesus returned in the
-
power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of him
-
went out through all the surrounding agent. We will come
-
back with power. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters. Are
-
you listening to me? Do you hear my heart? I
-
also believe in Christ that I will come out of
-
this suffering, out of this brokenness, out of this cave,
-
out of you know, my time of recovery, with the
-
power of the Holy Spirit. Now, if I read this
-
to you again, you will see three things. It says
-
in verse one, Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit,
-
returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit.
-
So verse one already says fail and lead. Why is
-
the Bible so specific? Because sometimes we can be filled
-
by the spirit, and many of you are, but not lead.
-
There's a difference being filled, there's a difference being led,
-
And finally, there's a difference being or having the power
-
of the Spirit. Feel lead and empowered. This whole thing
-
about the deeper way of discipleship. You know, people like
-
discipleship if it's easy, But there is a discipleship that
-
goes deeper, and all of us must must learn it
-
and learn to surrender to it for the past three
-
years or more. I can remember three years, but it
-
could have been more. In my daily quiet time, by
-
the grace of God, I've been praying specifically that the
-
Lord would make me the Jesus that Malaysia needs.
-
Lord, make me.
-
The Jesus that Malaysia needs for revival to happen. So
-
you could take this prayer and go, Lord, make me
-
the Jesus that my mother needs so that she can
-
come to know the Lord. Make me the Jesus that
-
my father needs to see so that he can accept
-
Christ one day. Make me the Jesus that my friends
-
need so that they can see Christ in me, you know.
-
So that's that's that's the kind of prayer I've been praying.
-
I really want to see revival in Malaysia. I really
-
want to see revival in Malaysia. And I know some
-
of you are praying for that as well. Revival, revival
-
so that all in Malaysia may know, every single person
-
in Malaysia may know that Jesus Christ is the Son
-
of the Living God, the Savior of the world, the
-
only way truth and life. No one comes to the
-
Father except through Him that all may know. So Lord
-
make me the Jesus and Malaysia needs for revival to happen.
-
And after three years, this is the way God answers me.
-
Think about it for a moment. I was just thinking
-
about it just a week ago. I said, Lord, I
-
thank you that I'm recovering well and I'm looking forward
-
to serving you again. I'm looking forward to going to Bintulu.
-
I'm looking forward to going to wherever you would send me.
-
You know, because out of this brokenness, I know that
-
there is going to be an anointing that will flow
-
and many, many, many lives are going to be touched
-
and transformed by your power, the power of the Holy Spirit,
-
and for your glory. I'm looking forward. I say, Lord,
-
thank you. But I said, God, you know, is this
-
the way I've been praying for three years now, and
-
that you will make me the Jesus that Malagia needs?
-
And is this really your way? And I saw the
-
Lord in the picture of my mind nodding his head
-
and saying, yes, you ask you asked me for three years.
-
I held back my hand. Sometimes we think we can
-
just be the Jesus by attending a Bible class. Well,
-
if it was that easy grade, But sometimes it's not
-
a Bible class only, it's a brokenness. I smiled, because
-
I'm now towards the end of my recovery stage. I
-
smile and said, Lord, I wouldn't have I asked you
-
to make me the Jesus that Malagia needs for revival
-
to happen. But I wouldn't have asked you for this
-
way to be the Jesus that Malaysian needs. And God
-
smiled back at me and said, Kenneth, if I told
-
you that this was the way I was going to use,
-
you probably say no, Lord, anything about this, Lord right,
-
anything but this. So the Lord sometimes doesn't tell us.
-
He just answers our prayer. But he answers it in
-
a way that we never thought he was ever going
-
to do it this way. But as you go through it,
-
as you learn to surrender, as you learn to trust
-
the Lord, look to the Lord. You know, God begins
-
to speak to you as he has spoken to me,
-
and continues to speak to me. He has drawn me
-
into a cave to prepare me to be the Jesus
-
that Malaysia needs. Breaking often happens before the breakthrough. Let
-
me give it to you one more time. Breaking often
-
happens before the breakthrough. So if you're going through a breaking,
-
now say thank you Jesus. I believe my breakthrough is coming. Amen, hallelujah.
-
Breaking has no hate. You know, when you go to
-
a real breaking, by the Lord, hate is removed from
-
your heart. You don't even have energy to hate anymore.
-
Breaking has no judgment. You don't feel like you want
-
to sit down while you're in pain, and oh you
-
want to judge this person, judge that person. I feel
-
like every strength I had to judge another person just
-
ran out the window when I was on the floor,
-
found it even so difficult to get up, and I
-
shed some tears, crying out to the Lord, Lord, I
-
can't even get up from the floor. You know, when
-
people are in the time of breaking, do you think
-
about judging people? You don't. So hate has gone, judgment
-
has gone. Breaking has no enemies. Now that doesn't mean
-
that people are not wanting to make you the enemy,
-
but you just go, Lord, I have no strength to
-
be anyone's at me. And so in fact, you know
-
we are able to obey the word that says, bless
-
your enemies, Bless those who curse you, right, love those
-
who spitefully use you. Breaking will cause you to forgive
-
because at a time of breaking, maybe all that you
-
can ask God for is God, please forgive me, you know,
-
if there's anything I've done to deserve this, God, Oh God,
-
forgive me. And you go through a whole meditation of
-
needing God's forgiveness. Right, you don't anything to block your healing,
-
and with that comes the forgiveness of others. Breaking will
-
remove envy, no time to envy. It will remove jealousy. Yeah,
-
Breaking will help you overcome anger issues. You know, if
-
you're really going through a breaking in the spirit of God,
-
if you're really going through a breaking, his way, a
-
way surrendered, a way that's just look to Jesus, say God,
-
I might not understand everything, but I surrender to you.
-
And you begin to just give yourself into what God
-
is doing, you will find it it's not easy to
-
be angry anymore, and you'll be able to subdue your
-
temper much easier. That's what breaking does. Breaking will relinquish
-
your rights, bring down your pride, deny your arrogance. You know,
-
it's not easy to be proud and arrogant when you're
-
on two crutches. Before this. I remember I could get
-
ready for church shower, dress up, put on my tie,
-
and my jacket, all within ten minutes. Now just to
-
get ready to go into the bathroom takes me ten minutes.
-
How do you keep pride just to get ready for
-
this recording? Elvin was going to come at two o'clock
-
to my house, and he was five minutes before two
-
he arrived. I was up here by one thirty and
-
by two o'clock I still haven't got my jacket on.
-
That's half an hour of trying to reach out for
-
my long pants and try and reach out for my
-
white shirt, try to put on my tie. How do
-
you even manage arrogance at that time? Breaking will also
-
make you very patient. You know, one of the toughest things,
-
or shall I say one of the toughest testings, is
-
in the area of your patients. You can take this
-
maybe for a couple of weeks, two months, six months,
-
one year, ouch ouch when lord, when maybe you're taking
-
care of a loved one a few days, okay, two weeks,
-
maybe two months. It's tough. But then when you go
-
through a breaking, you understand other people's breaking. You understand
-
what they go through don't you. So it's not just patience,
-
it's also understanding and compassion and mercy. As I said earlier,
-
kindness becomes a product of brokenness. Now you know why
-
breaking often happens before breakthrough because breakthrough needs all these ingredients.
-
It needs humility, it needs mercy, it needs all these
-
things that I just say and more. Maybe the Lord
-
is dealing with you in another area, deeper area that
-
I've not even mentioned. And when you go through this process,
-
the fact isn't there a scripture that says, yay, though
-
I go through the value of the share of death,
-
I will fear no evil. Yeah, you know, we go
-
through it. It's a dark place, this valley, but God
-
is with us, and so break true is at the
-
end of that dark valley. The end of breaking is surrender.
-
You say, pastor, give me a glimpse of the light
-
at the end of the tunnel, Give me a glimpse
-
of when can I expect this breaking to end? Well,
-
I have learned this surrender is the light at the
-
end of the tunnel. Surrender meaning God, I can't unless
-
you come, you see, because I find that as long
-
as you know you're going to do this breaking and
-
you're going I hope, I hope it's going to end quicker.
-
I hope it's going to end quicker. And then in
-
your mind you're thinking, I can still do this, I
-
can still depend on myself. I know what to do.
-
I find that God wants to remove that from you
-
and bring you and I to a place whereby we
-
actually end up saying God, I think I know what
-
you're trying to do. You're trying to bring me to
-
the end of myself. You're trying to bring me to
-
the end of the rope. You're trying to bring me
-
to that place where I actually lift up my hands
-
and surrender and say God, I actually can't without you.
-
I actually don't know what to do. I thought I
-
knew everything. I thought I could do everything, and the
-
Lord wants to I tell you what that place that
-
God wants to bring us to, it's really not a
-
place of defeat. It's a place of surrender, but not defeat.
-
It's actually a very very powerful place because that's when
-
God's strength actually takes over. That's when God actually intervenes,
-
That's when he actually puts his hand to the plow.
-
That's when he actually shows up all the other time
-
when you say I can do it, God, I can
-
do it, I don't what to do. He's not far away.
-
He's just stand by the side until you say, God,
-
I really need you. Breaking says more of you, less
-
of me. Breaking will make you want to shy away
-
from the limelight and give up your titles. Yeah, it's true.
-
You know when I was being broken and still am
-
going through a breaking, but I believe and the tail
-
end already. I even said, God, it's okay. This this
-
pasta title that I have, does a matterala some more.
-
I have a reverend title as well, does a metal alone?
-
And then when I finish my doctorate DBA, I said,
-
never mind alone, it's okay. You know when you go
-
to a breaking doesn't matter, I said, Lord, you use
-
it whenever you want to. You want to use pastor
-
whenever you want to open doors, You use red whenever
-
you want in the open doors that you want to open. Lord.
-
If you ever want to use the doctor title, whenever
-
you want to open it. Lord. Otherwise, I am just
-
this lot. I am just this Kenneth Chin, servant of
-
the Most High God. Amen. I can't even stand up
-
without his grace. I can't even walk without his strength,
-
So titles doesn't mean anything to me. Yeah there, people
-
respect you, honor you, but I surrender it to the Lord.
-
I have already surrendered the past titles and the future
-
titles all to the Lord. The Lord use it according
-
to his purpose and for his glory. But if he
-
doesn't want to use it, then I put it aside,
-
like how Paul said. Right, Paul said, I count it
-
as dumb. I count it as rubbish, all right, because
-
I want to gain Christ Breaking says once again, for
-
when I'm weak, then I'm strong. Some will learn through
-
the healing. Others will heal through the learning. I think
-
that's probably going to be included in one of my
-
inspirations in the future. You know, some people can say
-
to you, way, you know this happened to me, a
-
miraculous healing, hallelujah. You know I had an accident, and
-
you know I had something broken, and then within just
-
twenty four hours, the Lord heal me. Oh. You know,
-
it's so good to trust in the Lord, you know,
-
and to call on the name of Jesus. He's our healer. Right,
-
So some will learn through healing. I'm healed that they
-
learn right to trust the Lord, but others will heal
-
through learning. It is as you learn to surrender healing comes.
-
So the learning is first with the Lord, not the healing.
-
First the learning, the learning, the learning, and then, even
-
though you don't even realize it, the healing. Every day
-
you're actually growing stronger. Every day you're actually getting better.
-
Break before breakthrough, break before breakthrough. It is not break up.
-
God is not breaking you up. It is not break down.
-
God is not breaking you down. Breaking if you don't
-
treat it well, can end up either with a breakup
-
or a breakdown, and both may not be what God
-
wants for you. But it's called break through. And this
-
is the scripture again. Psalms chrainy Tree and some of
-
you love, Psalm chany Tree right verse four. Yay. Though
-
I walk through break through, not break up, not break down.
-
Break come on through you and I will pass through. Amen.
-
We will get to the finishing line. We will get
-
to the other side. We will get to the light
-
at the end of the tunnel. Though I walk through
-
the value of the shadow of death, I will fear
-
no evil. Come on, somebody, say to your neighbor, I
-
will fear no evil. I will fear. Come on, no evil.
-
The thing about going to breaking fear will try to
-
creep in, and that's again the devil's lies. But say
-
to your neighbor again, I will fear no evil. Turn
-
to the other neighbor now and say, for you are
-
with me. Come on, God is with us. You're Rod
-
and your staff they comfort me. People, listen to my
-
heart and listen to this reminder from the word of God.
-
I will never leave you, nor forsake you. I will
-
never leave you nor forsake you. You know what the
-
word for sake is when I studied it just in
-
the last few weeks. The word for sake has got
-
to do with claims. As Alvin is behind the camera
-
right now filming this. Elvin has got two sons, Timmy Elijah.
-
These are his sons and he claims them as his own. Now,
-
when somebody forsake something, it is in the area of
-
forsaking the very claim that is his or hers or theirs.
-
So it's not just forsaking like ah bah bye God.
-
You know I'm going to turn my back against you know,
-
he's saying that you are his claim, You are his.
-
You don't belong to anybody else but me saith the Lord,
-
and in that I will never forsake my claim. Are
-
you with me? That is the power. I will not
-
forsake you. Doesn't mean oh, you're naughty, you're bad, you're evil.
-
You forgot to pray today, you forgot to do your
-
quiet time, you forgot to read your Bible for the
-
last three months. I don't like you anybody. No, this
-
is not like don't like like in school when you
-
say I don't friend you, when you tell your friend
-
I don't friend you, you know I don't. I'm not
-
going to be your friend for the next hour. No, no,
-
no for sake means you are my claim and don't
-
matter who you are and how dirty you might be.
-
You know, like a one hundred dollar bill, you can
-
put it through murder and even through the toilet bowl
-
and out again, it still remains one hundred dollar bill.
-
Means it still remains God's Do you understand? And God said,
-
I will never forsake you because you are my claim.
-
You will never be able to do anything that will
-
cause me to deny my claim. You are my claim,
-
You are mine. Are you with me? People? Elvin will
-
never forsake his sons, no matter how they become, because
-
they are his flesh and bone. It's his right. And
-
so Elvin says, I will not forsake my sons. I
-
will not forsake claiming you. That's the real meaning. All right.
-
Maybe you never see these verses the same way again. Okay,
-
God says you are mine, a man. Remember that you
-
are his broken body or not broken body, you are his.
-
Come on, all right, he's gonna mend you. He's gonna
-
he's gonna heal you. He's gonna bless you. Amen, come on,
-
turn to your friends, say he's gonna heal you. Turn
-
your effraid. It's gonna mend you. He's gonna bless you.
-
A man is gonna prosper you, a man fear not,
-
for the Lord is with you. Now what's important is
-
three things very quickly, the Bible says in First Quarentthines
-
thirteen thirteen, Now a bite, faith, hope, love, these three
-
and the greatest of these is love. Now faith very quickly.
-
In James Chapter one, verse two and four, the Bible says,
-
my brethren, counted all joy when you fall into various trials,
-
knowing that the testing of your faith, the testing of
-
your faith produces what patience. Oh, I need to dwell
-
on this just for a Minuteladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, leaders, partners,
-
people are here for the very first time listening to this.
-
One of the greatest testings. I'll say it again. I
-
said it earlier, but I'll say it again, is going
-
to be your patience. It's not even just the testing
-
of faith. We know that it's for sure. The Bible
-
even says the testing of your faith. My faith is
-
being tested. But what God is after is patience, because
-
I tell you what a lot of you were closed to,
-
short changing yourself and short changing your loved ones, and
-
short changing God because not because of faith or the
-
lack of it, or the more of it or the less. No,
-
if you have faith, but what you may not have had,
-
and what you may not even have realized that was
-
under testing is patience. So when you learn to surrender,
-
you learn patience. You say God, I used to ask you,
-
please get this done as quickly as you can. Now
-
I just say, God, you know exactly what time you
-
need to do this in me, You know exactly how
-
much time a cake needs to be in the oven
-
to bake. I can look at the cake rising and
-
I say, can this please be finished in five minutes?
-
And the baker, well, no, no, it's not gonna take
-
five minutes. And if you take the pen too quickly
-
out of the oven it falls flat and becomes nothing.
-
You will spoil the whole process. So many of us
-
will have learned to look through the glass of that
-
oven and just enjoy the rising and say, God, I'm
-
not going to ask you to quicken. I'm going to
-
ask you have your way along. You know when this
-
will end, and when the and when this ends and
-
it's completed, it will come out much better version then
-
when he went in. Somebody say amen, you and I
-
will come out much better version with the power of
-
the Holy Spirit. And so many are going to enjoy
-
this well big cake. Patience. Patience. Patience is going to
-
be one of the most important thing you hear in
-
this message. Have patience surrendered to the Lord, trust in him.
-
Number two, Hope, don't lose hope. It's okay to hope,
-
my friends. It's okay. In fact, the Bible says that
-
hope is found in faith. Why because in Hebrews eleven,
-
Verse one, Now faith is the substance of things hope.
-
For faith is the substance of things hopeful. So if
-
you don't have hope, you don't have faith, because faith
-
needs the substance of hope or the substance that's hope
-
for so you remove hope, you remove faith. So start
-
with faith. Have faith that God is the good God.
-
Have faith that God has got good plans for you.
-
Have faith that God would never leave it and leave
-
you or forsake you. And through the testing of this faith,
-
you will have patience that will have its perfect work.
-
Patience having its perfect work means let patience run its course.
-
Let that cake rise to the top. Everything has a timetable.
-
Let patience not just be for a day, two days,
-
three weeks, four weeks. Let patience run its course. Give
-
patients a chance, don't rush it. Let patience and it shift.
-
You know, you ask your friend, hey, when can you
-
come out for a drink? Your friend looks at his
-
watch and says, my shift ends. Let patience have its shift.
-
Don't don't let it. Don't force it to come out earlier.
-
Don't have to come out later. Faith will produce patience,
-
and patience must be able to say my shift ends,
-
and when it ends, it is done. Let patience finish
-
its assignment, that you may be perfect and complete, says
-
James one verse two to four. Lacking nothing, Let's go
-
back now to hope. I pray in the name of
-
Jesus that all of you going through a breaking now
-
will not lose hope. Why because we have love at
-
the end of the day. Friends, it is love. So
-
one day I found myself on this same floor where
-
I'm doing this recording. Not only is my left leg
-
injured and I can't put any weight and pressure on it,
-
my right leg, the knee was completely inflamed. Why because
-
I had put all the weight of my body trying
-
to walk on one leg, and so that one leg
-
was totally overuse, overcompensated, and no one was around. Passenger
-
was downstairs. I didn't want to call out for her
-
because I didn't want to burton her. But friends, a
-
full grown man who has been independent for so many years,
-
doing almost everything on his own, if he can found
-
himself on that one day not being able to stand
-
to his feet, not being able to get up, I
-
felt like I was punched in the face, in the
-
stomach by the devil, God allowed it, and I was
-
down for the count. And though I tried so much
-
to push myself up, I couldn't. A grown man that
-
felt worse than a child, felt worse than even someone
-
who was disabled. I had legs, but I couldn't use them.
-
My hands were so tired trying to push my body up,
-
and I felt tears running down my face. I was
-
a broken man. And I was on the floor for
-
twenty minutes, almost giving up. And pass Andrew came up
-
and tried to hold me up, but she couldn't because
-
you know, I'm so much heavier. And I said say
-
and said no, no, no, no, stop, stop because I
-
didn't want her to hurt her bag or hurt her hands.
-
And there you go. Even with help, I couldn't get up.
-
But there was a breaking process. In fact, can I
-
say this, probably in the last two months, one one
-
of the lowest moments, God brought me to that place.
-
Some people will say God brought me to my knees. Well,
-
I was lowered at my knees, I was on my back.
-
But then as the devil tried to lie to me,
-
where's your God, Where's your God? Towards the end, of
-
that ordeal. God spoke to me. He says, Canneth, do
-
you believe I still love you? Hallelujah? I tell you
-
what it took faith to believe. And as I said, yes, Lord,
-
I believe that you love me. You gave your only
-
begoden son to die on the cross for me. What
-
more the scriptures all began to come into my mind,
-
into my heart, my spirit. If God gave his only son,
-
what more will he not do for you? And as
-
I was being ministered to by the Holy Spirit, the
-
love of God just began to flood my soul, fill
-
my mind. My questions were not answered, but then they
-
didn't have to be anymore, just to know that God
-
loved me. And so I calmed down. Instead of fighting,
-
I surrendered. Instead of being angry, I was thankful, Thank
-
you Lord, and you love me. And with that I
-
felt a lightness come into my body. And slowly but
-
surely I got myself up, set myself down, and from
-
there I got myself, you know, using the crutches. Slowly
-
but surely I got myself to the bed. And at
-
the bed, of course, I was at a safe place
-
and safe space, and I got myself ready to go
-
to sleep, But before I slept, I just realized how
-
powerful the love of God is and why the Bible
-
says the greatest of these is love, because in those
-
times when you just can't answer the bombardment of questions
-
that your way, you just need to know.
-
That whatever it is, you have a God who loves you,
-
who will never stop loving you. And because he loves you,
-
he will always end well. Even the cross ended well.
-
The most painful situations, circumstances, conditions, the greatest of these
-
is love. That's why the Bible says love covers a
-
multitude of sins. Is like the love of God that
-
they came upon me and just covered a multitude not
-
just of sins.
-
But of questions and of pain, and of doubt and
-
the possibility to sin by just giving it all up
-
turning away from God. The devil wants you to do that.
-
The devil wants me to do that the greatest of
-
Jesus Love. May faith, hope, and love sustain you as
-
it has sustained me. I'm a broken person, but I'm
-
thankful to God for this process, for this hour, for
-
this cave experience. This is discipleship. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers,
-
and sisters. Disciple first is not always easy. It's not
-
always Bible study, church meetings, nice suits, beautiful dresses, lunch
-
after worship service. It's not always mission trips added with
-
shopping and good food. It's not always nice. It's not
-
always easy. God is after something in my life and
-
in yours, and brokenness is the only way. But when
-
he's done, it's going to be amazing, it's going to
-
be beautiful, it's going to be powerful. I'm a broken person,
-
but I'm a broken person in the hands of a
-
loving father. Remember what Jesus said. He said, this is
-
how you should pray our Father. See how the Lord
-
was so wise to start with our Father. He didn't
-
even say our God. He didn't even say Oh Mighty One.
-
He didn't even say the God of Israel. He didn't
-
say he didn't use any of those words because he
-
knew that at the end of the day, you and
-
I need a father. We don't just need a god.
-
We don't just need a judge. We don't just need
-
a Holy One of Israel. We don't just need a master,
-
a boss. We need a father, a father who loves us,
-
a father who ran to his bodigal son because he
-
could never forsake him. That's his claim. You are his claim,
-
you are his son, you are his daughter. Now, if
-
there's anyone watching and you have never opened your heart
-
to receive Jesus Christ into your life, let me say
-
today is the perfect day. This hour is the perfect hour.
-
You will be also able to call my father, our father,
-
who are in heaven Hell would be thy name. Let's
-
close our eyes for a moment, bow our heads. I
-
want to lead you in a prayer, especially those of
-
you who have never received Christ. You might be going
-
through a breaking and your brokenness doesn't seem to end
-
and doesn't seem to even have a purpose. But now
-
that you have heard the word of the Living God,
-
and you've heard that we call him father, and you've
-
heard that he loves you, though you can't understand why
-
you have to go through this, well, let me pray
-
for you. Just repeat after me. Eyes are close, hits
-
a bow, Just repeat after me, Just pray our father, Father.
-
I know that you love me. You gave me your
-
only begoden son, Jesus Christ. And the Bible says, if
-
you have given me Jesus, what more would you not
-
do for me. You are a good God. You have
-
a purpose for my life. You have a plan that
-
though I may never understand, I know that is good
-
for me. I myself may never know what's good for me,
-
but God who made me knows what's good for me.
-
And so now today I close my eyes, bow my heads,
-
close my eyes and bow my head and open my
-
heart to you, O Lord, to you, Lord Jesus, and
-
I want to pray that you come into my heart.
-
Forgive my sins, forgive my arrogance, forgive my pride, forgive
-
my bitterness, my sense of self righteousness, my sense of
-
self dependence. Oh Lord, I come today to you to say,
-
I recognize that I can't even breathe if you didn't
-
give me breath. I can't even walk if you didn't
-
give me strength. I can't live if you didn't give
-
me life. I'm nothing without you. I recognize that. Today,
-
Oh Lord, I pray. I pray for the people right
-
now who want to open their hearts to you and
-
receive you as their savior. Lord, and repeat after me,
-
Lord Jesus, come into my life, be my Lord and
-
my savior. Fill me now with your holy Spirit, come less,
-
invite the Holy Spirit to feel you. The Bible says
-
that when you have put your faith in God, he
-
gives you the right to become His child. Lord. I
-
thank you for every one of these who have invited you,
-
Lord Jesus into their hearts, that today they have become
-
children of God. They have become believers, and even through
-
their brokenness, or Lord, they will find how real you
-
are and how much you love them. And Father, for
-
the rest of the people watching, come on, everybody, lift
-
up your hands as I close. May the Lord bless you.
-
May the Lord strengthen you. May the Lord give you peace.
-
May the Lord teach you how to surrender trust Him
-
and receive is love today in a deeper way. May
-
the Lord make you a different man and a different
-
woman at the end of your breaking. May there be
-
surrender at the end of your breaking. May there be
-
breakthrough at the end of breaking. May there be a
-
different you. May God prepare you as he's preparing me,
-
for the greater things that he has in store. And
-
let us say, as we close, nevertheless, not my will
-
but yours be done. Lord, heal your people. Everyone out
-
there who's listening to the sound of My voice, and
-
having ailments and sickness and pain and brokenness in their body.
-
May the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit
-
right now, go through the screen in the name of Jesus.
-
Power of the Holy Spirit, and the annoying thing that
-
breaks every yo go through the screen right now. Come on,
-
lift up your hands and receive touch. Touch, touch, touch, touch, touch,
-
touch Touch your.
-
People, Oh God, everywhere, everywhere, from the back of this
-
hall to the front, from side to side, even people
-
watching in the overflow room, people who could be at
-
the hospitality now preparing for food, listening to the sum
-
of my voice.
-
Be healed in the mighty name of Jesus. Be healed
-
in the name of Jesus. Healed. Receive your healing right now.
-
Receive your deliverance, receive your blessing in the mighty name
-
of Jesus. We have prayed, and everybody say Amen. Amen,
-
the Lord bless you. I hope to see you soon.
-
Take care, have a great weaker hit God bless
