  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. One of the greatest testings, I'll say it again, is

  4. going to be your patience. It's not even just the

  5. testing of faith. We know that it's for sure, but

  6. what God is after his patience. Let patience run its

  7. course that take rise to the top. Everything has a

  8. time table. Breaking often happens before the breakthrough. Let me

  9. give it to you a more time. Breaking often happens

  10. before the breakthrough. So if you're going through a breaking,

  11. now say thank you Jesus, I believe my breakthrough is coming.

  12. Breaking will cause you to forgive because at a time

  13. of breaking, maybe all that you can ask God for

  14. is God, please forgive me. You know, if there's anything

  15. I've done to deserve this, God, Oh God, forgive me.

  16. And you go to a whole meditation of needing God's forgiveness. Right,

  17. You don't net anything to block your healing, and with

  18. that comes the forgiveness of others. Breaking will remove envy,

  19. no time to envy. It will remove jealousy. Yeah, breaking

  20. will help you overcome anger issues. If you're really going

  21. to a breaking his way a way surrendered a way

  22. that's just looking to Jesus, say God, I might not

  23. understand everything, but I surrender to you. You will find it.

  24. It's not easy to be angry anymore, and you'll be

  25. able to subdue your temper much easier. That's what breaking does.

  26. Breaking will relinquish your rights, bring down your pride, deny

  27. your arrogance. You know, it's not easy to be proud

  28. and arrogant when you're on two crutches. Before this, I

  29. remember I could get ready for church, shower, dress up,

  30. put on my tie, and my jacket all within ten minutes.

  31. Now just to get ready to go into the bathroom

  32. takes me ten minutes. How do you even manage arrogance

  33. at that time? Breaking will also make you very patient.

  34. You know, one of the toughest things, or shall I

  35. say one of the toughest testings, is in the area

  36. of your patients. You can take this maybe for a

  37. couple of weeks, two months, six months, one year, Maybe

  38. you're taking care of a loved one a few days, okay,

  39. two weeks, maybe two months. It's tough. But then when

  40. you go to a breaking you understand people's breaking. You

  41. understand what they go through, don't you. So it's not

  42. just patience, it's also understanding and compassion and mercy. As

  43. I said earlier, kindness becomes a product of brokenness. Now

  44. you know why breaking often happens before breakthrough because breakthrough

  45. needs all these ingredients. It needs humility, it needs mercy,

  46. it needs all these things that I just say and more.

  47. Maybe the Lord is dealing with you in another area,

  48. deeper area that I've not even mentioned. And when you

  49. go through this process, the fact isn't there a scripture

  50. that says, yay, though I go through the value of

  51. the share of death, I will fear no evil. Yeah,

  52. you know, we go through it. It's a dark place,

  53. this valley, but God is with us, and so breakthrough

  54. is at the end of that dark valley of breaking.

  55. Is surrender, you say, pastor, give me a glimpse of

  56. the light at the end of the tunnel, Give me

  57. a glimpse of when can I expect this breaking to end? Well,

  58. I have learned this surrender is the light at the

  59. end of the tunnel. Surrender meaning God, I can't unless

  60. you come, you see, because I find that as long

  61. as you know you're going to do this breaking and

  62. you're going to go I hope, I hope he's going

  63. to end quicker. I hope it's going to end quicker.

  64. And then in your mind you're thinking, I can still

  65. do this, I can still depend on myself. I know

  66. what to do. I find that God wants to remove

  67. that from you and bring you and I to a

  68. place whereby we actually end up saying God, I think

  69. I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to

  70. bring me to the end of myself. You're trying to

  71. bring me to the end of the rope. You're trying

  72. to bring me to that place where I actually lift

  73. up my hands and surrender and say God, I actually

  74. can't without you and the Lord wants to I'll tell

  75. you what that place that God wants to bring us to.

  76. It's really not a place of defeat. It's a place

  77. of surrender, but not defeat. It's actually a very very

  78. powerful place because that's when God's strength actually takes over.

  79. That's when God actually intervenes, that's when he actually puts

  80. his hand to the plow. That's when He actually shows up.

  81. And all that other time when you say I can

  82. do it, God, I can do it, I don't want

  83. to do. He's not far away. He's just stand by

  84. the side until you say, God, I really need you.

  85. Breaking says more of you, less of me. Breaking will

  86. make you want to shy away from the limelight and

  87. give up your titles. Yeah, it's true, you know when

  88. I was being broken and still am going through a breaking.

  89. But I believe and the tail end already. I even said, God,

  90. it's okay. This pastor title that I have does the better.

  91. So more I have a reverend title as well does

  92. a metal alone. I said, Lord, you use it whenever

  93. you want to You want to use pastor whenever you

  94. want to open doors. You use reverend whenever you want

  95. to open doors that you want to open. Lord. If

  96. you ever want to use the doctor title, whenever you

  97. want to open it. Lord. Otherwise, I am just this Lord,

  98. I am just this Kenneth Chin, servant of the Most

  99. High God. Amen. I can't even stand up without his grace.

  100. I can't even walk without his strength. So titles doesn't

  101. mean anything to me. Like how Paul said, right, Paul said,

  102. I count it as dumb. I count it as rubbish,

  103. all right, because I want to gain Christ. Breaking says

  104. once again, for when I'm weak, then I'm strong. Some

  105. will learn through the healing, while others will heal through

  106. the learning. You know, some people can say to you, way,

  107. you know this happened to me, a miraculous healing, hallelujah.

  108. You know I had an accident, and you know I

  109. had something broken, and then within just twenty four hours,

  110. the Lord heal me. Oh, you know, it's so good

  111. to trust in the Lord, you know. And some will

  112. learn through healing. I healed that they learned right to

  113. trust the Lord. But others will heal through learning. It

  114. is as you learn to surrender, healing comes. So the

  115. learn is first with the Lord, and then even though

  116. you don't even realize it, the healing. Every day you're

  117. actually growing stronger. Every day you're actually getting better. Break

  118. before breakthrough, break before breakthrough. Breaking if you don't treat

  119. it well, can end up either with a breakup or

  120. a breakdown, and both may not be what God wants

  121. for you. But it's called break through. And this is

  122. the scripture again verse four. Yay, though I walk through

  123. break through, not break up, not break down. Break come

  124. on through, though, I walk through the value of the

  125. shadow of death. I will fear. Come on, no evil,

  126. the thing about going to breaking, fear will try to

  127. creep in, and that's again the devil's lies. Come on,

  128. God is with us. You're Rod in your staff. They

  129. comfort me. Pople, Listen to my heart and listen to

  130. this reminder from the word of God. I will never

  131. leave you, nor forsake you. I will never leave you

  132. nor forsake you. You know what the word for sake

  133. is when I studied it just in the last few weeks,

  134. the word for sake has got to do with claims.

  135. So as Elvin is behind the camera right now filming this,

  136. Elvin has got two sons, Timmy Elijah. These are his

  137. sons and he claims them as his own. Now, when

  138. somebody forsake something, it is in the area of forsaking

  139. the very claim that is his or hers or theirs.

  140. So it's not just for saking, like ah bye bye God.

  141. You know I'm going to turn my back against you know,

  142. he's saying that you are his claim. You are his.

  143. You don't belong to anybody else but me, saith the Lord,

  144. and in that I will never forsake my claim. Are

  145. you with me? That is the power? No no, no

  146. forsake means you are my claim. And no matter who

  147. you are and how dirty you might be. You know,

  148. like a one hundred dollar bill, you can put it

  149. through munder and even through the toilet bowl and out again,

  150. it still remains one hundred dollar bill. Means it still

  151. remains God's. And God said, I will never forsake you

  152. because you are my claim. You will never be able

  153. to do anything that will cause me to deny my claim.

  154. Maybe you'll never see this verse the same way again. Okay,

  155. God says you are mine. A man, remember that you

  156. are his broken body or not broken body, you are his.

  157. Come on, all right, he's gonna mend you. He's gonna

  158. he's gonna heal you, he's gonna bless you. Amen. Now

  159. what's important is three things very quickly now A bite, faith, hope, love,

  160. these three and the greatest of these is love. Now faith.

  161. In James Chapter one, verse two and four, the Bible says,

  162. my brethren counted all joy when you fall into various trials,

  163. knowing that the testing of your faith produces what patience.

  164. One of the greatest testings, I'll say it again, is

  165. going to be your patience. It's not even just the

  166. testing of faith. We know that is for sure. But

  167. what God is after is patience, Because I tell you

  168. what a lot of you were closed to, short changing

  169. yourself and short changing your loved ones and short changing

  170. God because not because of faith or the lack of it,

  171. or the more of it or the less. No, if

  172. you have faith, but what you may not have had,

  173. and what you may not even have realized that was

  174. under testing is patience. So when you learn to surrender,

  175. you learn patience. You say God, I used to ask you,

  176. please get this done as quickly as you can. Now

  177. I just say, God, you know exactly what time you

  178. need to do this. In me, you know exactly how

  179. much time a cake needs to be in the oven

  180. to bake. I can look at the cake rising and

  181. I say, can this please be finished in five minutes?

  182. And the baker well, no, no, it's not gonna take

  183. five minutes. And if you take the pen too quickly

  184. out of the oven it falls flat and becomes nothing.

  185. You will spoil the whole process. So many of us

  186. will have learned to look through the glass of that

  187. oven and just enjoy the rising and say God, I'm

  188. not going to ask you to quicken. I'm going to

  189. ask you have your way along. You know when this

  190. will end. And when and when this ends and it's completed,

  191. it will come out much better version. Then when he

  192. went in, somebody say, amen, you and I will come

  193. out much better version. Patience. Patience. Patience is gonna be

  194. one of the most important thing you hear in this message.

  195. Have patience surrendered to the Lord. Trust in him. Number two, Hope,

  196. don't lose hope. It's okay to hope, my friends, It's okay.

  197. In fact, the Bible says that hope is found in faith.

  198. Why because in Hebrews eleven, verse one, Now, faith is

  199. the substance of things hope. For faith is the substance

  200. of things hopeful. So if you don't have hope, you

  201. don't have faith because faith needs the substance of hope

  202. or the substance that's hopeful. So you remove hope, you

  203. remove faith. So start with faith. Have faith that God

  204. is a good God. Have faith that God has got

  205. good plans for you. Have faith that God would never

  206. leave it and leave you or forsake you. And through

  207. the testing of this faith, you will have patience that

  208. will have its perfect work. Let patience run its course.

  209. Let that cake rise to the top. Everything has a timetable.

  210. Give patients a chance. No Russian faith will produce patience,

  211. and patience must be able to say, my shift ends,

  212. and when it ends is done. Let patience finish its assignment,

  213. that you may be perfect and complete, says James one

  214. verse two to four. Lacking nothing, Let's go back now

  215. to hope. I pray in the name of Jesus that

  216. all of you going through a breaking now will not

  217. lose hope. Why because we have love at the end

  218. of the day. Friends, it is love. So one day

  219. I found myself on this same floor where I'm doing

  220. this recording. Not only is my left leg injured and

  221. I can't put any weight and pressure on it, my

  222. right leg, the knee was completely inflamed. Why because I

  223. had put all weight of my body trying to walk

  224. on one leg, and so that one leg was totally overused, overcompensated,

  225. and no one was around. Passeender was downstairs. I didn't

  226. want to call out for her because I didn't want

  227. to burnon her. But friends, a full grown man who

  228. has been independent for so many years, doing almost everything

  229. on his own if he can found himself on that

  230. one day, not being able to stand to his feet,

  231. not being able to get up. I felt like I

  232. was punched in the face, in the stomach by the devil.

  233. God allowed it, and I was down for the count

  234. and no. I tried so much to push myself up.

  235. I couldn't a grown man. That felt worse than a child.

  236. I had legs, but I couldn't use them. My hands

  237. were so tired trying to push my body up, and

  238. I felt tears running down my face. I was a

  239. broken man and I was on the floor for twenty minutes.

  240. There was a breaking process. In fact, can I say this,

  241. probably in the last two months, one of the lowest moments,

  242. God brought me to that place. Some people will say

  243. God brought me to my knees. Well, I was lower

  244. than my knees. I was on my back. But then

  245. as the devil tried to lie to me, where's your God?

  246. Where's your God? Towards the end of that ordeal, God

  247. spoke to me. He says, Kenneth, do you believe I

  248. still love you? Hallelujah? I tell you what it took

  249. faith to believe. And as I said, yes, Lord, I

  250. believe that you love me. You gave your only begoden

  251. son to die on the cross for me. What more?

  252. The scriptures all began to come into my mind, into

  253. my heart and my spirit. If God gave his only son,

  254. what more will he not do for you? And as

  255. I was being ministered to by the Holy Spirit, the

  256. love of God just began to flood my soul, fill

  257. my mind. My questions were not answered, but then they

  258. didn't have to be anymore, just to know that God

  259. loved me, And so I calmed down. Instead of fighting,

  260. I surrendered instill of being angry, I was thankful, Thank

  261. you Lord, and you love me. And with that I

  262. felt a lightness coming too my body. And slowly but

  263. surely I got myself up, set myself down, and from

  264. there I got myself, you know, using the crutches. Slowly

  265. but surely, I got myself to the bed, and I

  266. got myself ready to go to sleep. But before I slept,

  267. I just realized how powerful the love of God is,

  268. and why the Bible says the greatest of these is love,

  269. because in those times when you just can't answer the

  270. bombardment of questions that come your way, You just need

  271. to know that whatever it is, you have a God who.

  272. Loves you, who will never stop loving you, and because

  273. he loves you, he will always end well.

  274. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
