You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
One glimpse of Jesus is going to make you fall
-
in love with him again and again and again and again,
-
and you can't have enough of him. It's like if
-
you are oil and you're walking through a gate of water,
-
you can't get through.
-
You've got to become water to get through. You you
-
with me.
-
Or if you were water and the gate was oil. Actually,
-
it doesn't mean that the gate is oil. It means
-
that you will take oil to go in. And you
-
have many Christians who avoid sweat.
-
Means we don't want to sweat for Jesus.
-
And that too many Christians who are not breaking through
-
because they are unwilling to go one step higher. Okay, well,
-
of great price in small letters at the bottom is
-
the purpose of the irritant. He purposely made it small
-
because that's the not so good news that pearls need
-
irritance to produce.
-
Anyway, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
-
Let's look at some scripture that show us what the
-
Bible says about pearls. Okay, here we go Matthew thirteen
-
forty five to forty six. Okay again, the Kingdom of Heaven,
-
let's ready would have gone Matthew thirteen forty five to
-
forty six. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant
-
seeking beautiful pearls, who when he had found.
-
One pearl of great price, when and saw all that
-
he had and bought.
-
It, meaning he actually sought off exchanged his life. Because
-
you know why, on the money and possessions and assets
-
that he has came from his life because he swept
-
for the money, he worked for the money. He gave
-
his life for all that he had, so now he's
-
giving it back in exchange for the pearl.
-
That was the value the pearl. So this pearl is
-
very valuable. It is one pearl.
-
Not see he read looking for beautiful pearls, but he
-
settled for one, okay, and he gave his life in
-
exchange for that one. So that pearl that we are
-
all looking for needs to be worth your life. That
-
is the kind of value God himself is looking for.
-
I want you all to understand this scripture is worth
-
you giving up everything for this one. I'm not sure
-
whether anyone of you have found it yet, Okay, I
-
pray you have, like Jesus, should be that pearl of
-
great price that we give our lives in exchange for
-
you know.
-
We got Jesus.
-
I want you, I want all of you, and you
-
want my heart. Here's my heart, here's my life. I
-
give you everything because God, Jesus you are worth more
-
than any treasure.
-
Amen. All right, so cool?
-
But what God is after is that he's after pearl
-
in our lives.
-
Let's look at another scripture.
-
Revelations twenty one twenty one is easy to remember as
-
far as references concerned, because it's Revelations twenty one twenty one. Okay,
-
the Bible says the twelve gates in Heaven were twelve pearls.
-
Each individual gate was off one pearl. Can you imagine
-
a whole gate. A whole gate is one pearl? Can
-
you imagine that? And the street of the city was
-
pure gold, like transparent glass. Heaven is gonna be such
-
a beautiful place. We're just gonna be so amazed.
-
Haven't even gone in now to Heaven.
-
The pearl really is gonna just really cause you to
-
go wow.
-
And this is not a normal wow. No, this wow
-
spelt backwards and you just gonna you just gonna look
-
at the gate and go like I.
-
Met, I can't imagine what's awaiting me behind that, because
-
even the gate amazes me. And as soon as you
-
enter the gate, the flaw will amaze you, because it's
-
going to be gold. And the best kind of goal
-
is like transparent, pure gold, and it's going to be
-
good enough only for the floor, right the floor, the
-
lowest of the lowest in heaven.
-
Pure gold makes it.
-
And so I'm telling you, if heaven is going to beautiful,
-
so ours have lost loved ones there there already, and
-
they're enjoying it so much. And we will join it
-
one day and we'll all celebrate together.
-
Amen.
-
And if there's still any unsaved loved ones that is
-
not Christian, you know yet, I pray, let's pray that
-
they all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
-
I'm telling you it's going to be such a beautiful place.
-
And the one that makes it beautiful is not even
-
the Pulley Gate and the pure goal of the streets
-
of pure gold, but Jesus. One glimpse of Jesus is
-
going to make you fall in love with him again
-
and again and again and again and you can't.
-
Have enough of him.
-
You think some Bible teachers here on earth really good,
-
Wait until you hear Jesus teach the Bible and be like,
-
I can't get enough of this man, right. Okay, So
-
it's gonna be good, and I pray that all of
-
you look forward to it. Okay, all of you look
-
forward to it. Christians should never be afraid of death.
-
It should never be afraid of going home to be
-
with the Lord. It's going to be really, really a
-
special blessing from God. And that's why the Bible says,
-
a beautiful in the sight of God are the death of.
-
His saints, you know. But I just want to share
-
a conviction. I have.
-
That the gate right because because it's one pearls, it
-
must be a very big pearl, one huge pup.
-
Then when you enter it just opens, it just brings
-
into helf. Right. Okay. So I can't imagine a pearl
-
as a gate. I can't. I can't.
-
Maybe it is so, and I can stand corrected because
-
our mind's asposed to heaven and God is so.
-
Great, so he can't do anything he wants to love.
-
It can be.
-
A big pearl that you can walk through I don't know,
-
of course, you know, like Jesus walked through walls when
-
he was resurrected, you know.
-
But what I think it could be is that we
-
become pearls. We become pearls.
-
What God is after in transforming us is that we
-
become post and when we walk through those gates, it
-
actually takes a pearl to walk through that gate. I'm
-
just giving you a suggestion. It's not even backed up
-
by any scripture. It's like it's like if you are
-
oil and you're walking through a gate of water, you
-
can't get through. You've got to become water to get through,
-
you with me. Or if you were water and the
-
gate was oil. Actually, it doesn't mean that the gate
-
is oil. It means that you will take oil to
-
go in, and it doesn't It might not mean that the.
-
Gate itself is peerl, but it means that the entry,
-
the way to enter, is to become a pearl.
-
Okay, So just just keep it at the back of
-
your head because I sort of believe that that's what
-
God is after. And so when you are walking through
-
a gate is meant to be peer but you are
-
not peerl or you have not allowed God to make
-
you into a pearl you might.
-
Not get through.
-
Okay, So so I want to encourage you.
-
Just to think about it for a moment.
-
Is there a reason why God put a pearly gate
-
one peerl as a gate or did he trying to
-
Is he trying to say that everyone that walks through
-
this gate is a pearl? So it's like a pearlyague
-
gate is a is a A is a one person
-
walking in Okay, So I think you get what I'm saying.
-
I don't want to go deeper than this, because again
-
it's not backed up blah, okay by scripture.
-
Okay.
-
I just want to let you understand that God really
-
is after.
-
Our transformation, and he might not just be pearls within us.
-
It might be that we become a pearl, and therefore
-
He will continue to add irritance into our lives to
-
make us become something that we never knew we could. Okay, Okay,
-
I shouldn't be labeled a point because it's not the
-
most important thing, all right, all right, So.
-
Next slight, next line.
-
Pearls are precious prices and powerful now precious Why because
-
it's found in the Bible and God has chosen to
-
use pearl. He didn't say diamond, no, although most of
-
you would rather a diamond for your anniversary or a
-
diamond for your proposal, or you know, he used goal
-
a lot, and he used some other precious stones.
-
But Jesus and God and the Bible is using pearl.
-
And even pearly gay, Okay, So it's precious because yeah,
-
the Bible has included as a rare gem, and.
-
We need to pay attention.
-
We need to pay attention because the Bible is telling
-
us pearl number two is priceless because the value of
-
this pearl that God is after warrants the man who
-
finds it to exchange it for his life. That's how
-
priceless it is. Now, he had to sell everything he had,
-
and he thought it was worth it.
-
That's the thing.
-
He sold everything he had and bought that pearl of
-
great price. So God's word is telling us that that's
-
the kind of value of a pearl that he wants
-
us to go after. Not many pearls, because the merchant
-
was after many beautiful pearls, but he said the fock
-
come out one, and he gave his life for that one.
-
So his priceless and certainly powerful because in the Bible,
-
every time a gate is mentioned, he speaks about authority.
-
So when they were building the walls and the gates
-
of nihi Maya, well Jerusalem, Nie Maya's time you read
-
Knie Maya, knee Maya says, we are rebuilding the walls.
-
Walls in the Bible speak about identity, and so when
-
the enemy comes in and tears down the walls, they
-
are tearing down your identity. And that's why when Satan
-
came against Jesus in Message of the Four he says,
-
if you are the son of God, throw yourself down.
-
He's always after your identity. Satan is always after.
-
He's going to say, if you are that great, if
-
you are a Christian, if you are a child of God,
-
you know, he's always after because if you can break down.
-
Your identity, he's got you.
-
That's why people got identity crisis and all the kind
-
of stuff.
-
They are not certain, they are not confident.
-
And when he shakes the identity of a pastor, of
-
a preacher, he goes after your identity.
-
Who said you are you know? Who said you are
-
a child of God? Who said you are worthy? Who's
-
you know? Suffer it right. Okay, So understand this.
-
The walls speak of identity and the gay speak of authority.
-
So the enemies of God, the enemies of the of Jerusalem,
-
burned down the gates. By what happened was Lee Maya
-
was very careful not only to rebuild the walls, but
-
to hang the gates back. And so God is after
-
our identity and our authority.
-
God wants to restore.
-
Listen our identity, every person here in this room, listen
-
to me. Identity must be restored and the authority must
-
come back.
-
Otherwise we find it hard to cast out.
-
Demons because we don't know who we are and we
-
don't know what we have.
-
But I'm going to tell you about three types of pearls.
-
Are you ready?
-
The natural pearl, the cultured pearl, and the imitation pearl. Okay,
-
these three are found in the market found in the
-
world today, the day and the world we live in.
-
Three kinds of pearls, or three types of pearls produce,
-
and there's a market for all three. There's a market
-
for all three. So people will settle for imitation because
-
that's all they can afford, or that's all they want,
-
or they only wonder look and not the value that
-
the main difference is found in the value.
-
That's the main difference.
-
The many difference between the tree is one imitation is
-
probably about ten US dollars.
-
You can get it for forty four in it. Okay.
-
Sometimes some toy shoppers sell person, have you seen the
-
toy shop and sell purse. Ah, yeah, we buy it
-
for kids, you know, And then they write they just
-
wear mumy pearls okay, And lem me say, yeah, as
-
long as you're happy place. You know, money can buy
-
you purlse you want the real one as your husband
-
in the future. But you know the value, the value
-
the price. Now let's look at the next light that
-
says the difference or the differences that makes the difference.
-
So the value is the main difference. But what makes
-
the difference to the difference. What are the differences that
-
cause the value to be different?
-
All right? Three things?
-
Time, environment and rarity under time. Under time, I want
-
to tell you it takes a long time for a
-
pearl to receive what you call a coating, the thickness
-
you see. I'll tell you in about two minutes how
-
a pearl is made. And some of you already know it,
-
but let's just put you at the.
-
Back of your minder.
-
If we're talking about the coating, there is a coating
-
around the pearl that goes on and on.
-
It quotes again, it coutes again and again.
-
And the more coating, the more thick the coating around
-
a pearl, the greater the value. But it takes time.
-
It takes an except for imitation pearlse immitation. Pearls don't
-
have the kind of coating. Okay, they have a paint.
-
They paint, uh you know, a transparent glass ball, the
-
glass ball glass guy, a gully marble glass, the transparent
-
glass marble, and they just paint on it like maybe
-
a paint that was manipulated from what you call a
-
mother of pearl.
-
Have you ever heard a mother mother pearl?
-
So mother pearl they were scraping or they will bash
-
it up and they make a substance where it becomes
-
paint and.
-
They take the paint and they just paint over that one.
-
Not even you scratch so you can see the you
-
can see the glass. So that that's cheap. So that
-
doesn't take time, that doesn't need time at all. But
-
time is the one that makes the difference because of
-
the coating. Understand that number two environment. They tell me
-
that when the pearl is in the right environment, it
-
gets rounder, and it's in the shape of the pearl
-
that the price is in. So if it's like your
-
crispy path or crispy whatever again rice crispy is okay
-
or whatever it is, you look, it doesn't look round right,
-
the cost comes down. I did some research. It's in
-
salt water more than fresh water. The pearls can also
-
develop in fresh water, but the best kind is in
-
a god forsaken undisturbed place.
-
It cannot be disturbed. It's pristine water.
-
See right where there's no boats or whatever it is,
-
or fishermen try to, you know, disturb the waters. It
-
has to be on its own and it has to
-
be in salt water more than fresh water for the
-
shape to be perfectly round.
-
Think about it. You know what salt is right?
-
Sorry, sweat, and there are many Christians who avoid sweat.
-
Means we don't want a sweat for Jesus.
-
We don't hardship, we don't pressure, we don't go for missions.
-
We want air conditioning, we want television. We want to
-
watch the service from the comfort of our homes.
-
Even though pandemic is gone for a few years. Now,
-
you still you know, I call.
-
It Sarah Christians, you still want to be in your
-
Sarah watching because the comfort. Now, I'm telling you, right now,
-
I told the first services. Nothing great comes out of comfort.
-
You can't build muscles, you know, am I right?
-
Albert? You need resistance.
-
And if you are building your muscle on a certain weight,
-
let's say an kilograms, and you if you keep doing
-
a hundred kilograms for the next three years, it's just
-
all you will get is maintenance. You need to break
-
into the one hundred and ten hundred and twenty hundred
-
and thirty because your muscle also needs to break.
-
And however, you know in this room that's why we
-
call it breakthrough.
-
And that too many Christians who are not breaking through
-
because they are unwilling to go one step higher, unwilling
-
to serve one hour more, unwilling to read the Bible
-
one page more.
-
I't willing you understand this, So.
-
I don't want to say I love you too much
-
to have you all appear before Jesus regretting. I want
-
you to at least try that, even with a broken
-
fooder do something. Try not to live by excuses, by
-
live by exploits. Exploits means, sir, God can use you
-
more than you think you can be used.
-
That's what exploits really mean.
-
Like if you working at the office and you and
-
your boss is causing you to do more work than
-
you're paid, there's exploitation, right. But God wants to use
-
us more than we think we are capable of.
-
That's another kind.
-
Of exploitation, but it's a good explotation Daniel, eleven thirty two.
-
They that know that God shall be strong and do
-
great exploits, but instead we are making great excuse Okay,
-
we don't want excuse us, We want great exploits.
-
Can I hear good? Amen? So God is shaping.
-
Us in salt water, in sweat water, in times are
-
hot water, in times are.
-
Not so easy water? Are you all seeing me? In? Like?
-
There is trouble? Also in a Christian life water, there
-
is also headache and stress water. There is also struggle
-
and pain and sorrow water. But we get shaped by
-
God everybody, Okay. And finally, rarity. Rarity just means a
-
who is asking. If a person is asking, he only
-
wants a ten us dollar purse. Then so be it.
-
I can make a thousand. I just bring whatever you know,
-
Just give me whatever marble, right, I just painted here
-
you go ten years dollars. Who's asking? But the one
-
who's asking is God. And God is asking for pearls
-
of great price. He's not even asking for culture. He's
-
asking for natural pearls of great prince. I'll show you
-
in a slighter what's the difference. The difference is in
-
a couple of zeros behind. That's a real difference, because
-
even in cultured persa, you cannot fetch so much. And
-
God is saying the pearl that he wants out of
-
our lives. It has to be worth you giving up
-
your life for. So he ain't asking for imitation. And
-
I'm sad to say that there are imitation Christians around
-
who was settled for just give me a paint. That's
-
why there's a scripture that says in the last days
-
they will have a form of godliness.
-
Deny it is power. A form means painted over her.
-
As long as you think I'm a pearl from ten
-
meters away, I'm fine. But when you come before the Lord,
-
he will be able to detect whether you're an imitation
-
or whether you are naturally form per From a mile away,
-
he can smell you, but our friends can't. Our colleagues can't,
-
our classmates they You know you look like a Christian,
-
you play Christian song, but in your in reality, in
-
your house where you are alone, the things that you
-
watch on internet.
-
Don't be an imitation Christian. Please don't be a fake.
-
You want to be be real because God is after
-
the pearl of great price.
