[SPEAKER_00]: How many you cited for the word this morning?

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, I said how many excited for the word this morning?

[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be kind of concluding, at least on Sunday morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you weren't here Wednesday night, that kind of has tagged on to this series, somewhere in the Psalms.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's just going through Psalm ninety one.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you missed the first week, you can go catch up on podcast, but he's going to spend the next couple of Wednesdays, at least the plan is going through Psalm ninety one.

[SPEAKER_00]: But for Sunday morning, we're going to kind of wrap up this series this morning, and we're going to wrap it up by going to the last

[SPEAKER_00]: chapter the last Psalm of the book Psalm one fifty is the grand finale of the Psalms and it's gonna be the grand finale of this Sunday morning series and it is an all is an all-out call to praise with everything that we have it is not a call for a polite golf clap you ever seen somebody give them a golf clap praise

[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all know what I'm talking about?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's certainly not a call for the hands on the back of the seat praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, somebody already feeling convicted this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: We've been going on about two minutes.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a call for that.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is a thunderous mandate for us to worship the Lord with everything we have.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's an urgency in the Psalm that we're about to read.

[SPEAKER_00]: In a world full of chaos and despair, I believe God is raising up a sound from His people that can shift the atmosphere.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk about this a little bit this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I want you to understand that your praise and your worship has the authority and the ability to shift things in the spirit realm.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is not just a nice little warm up.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not something we do because we have people that come to church and know how to play in an inch

[SPEAKER_00]: know how to play an instrument and can sing okay and we've got to find something for them to do so that they feel like they're a part of the church.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is something that can begin to shift the atmosphere.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is something that begins to shift the spirit whenever we worship in spirit and in truth.

[SPEAKER_00]: This summer, we've been journeying through the Psalms, through valleys, and repentance, through mountain tops, of revival, and it's all in there.

[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen, and in our own lives, we've seen God's deliverance, we've seen His mercy, we've seen His power, and the only fitting response whenever you begin to look in that in His totality is absolute, unadulterated, undignified praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we're here this morning to in this series in a spirit of explosive, excessive celebration, giving God the glory that's due to His name.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've already mentioned it, but if you want to subtitle this morning, you can call it the sound that shifts everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because whenever we lift up high praise, prison door shape.

[SPEAKER_00]: Battles are one, lives are transformed.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sound of praise is the sound that changes everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe it's time in the church and in the world for that sound to be heard loud and clear once again.

[SPEAKER_00]: So my fact, I'm just gonna go ahead and say this, I believe the church and large needs to get the sound of victory back.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have the sound of sorrow really well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Half of our worship songs are filled with sorrow.

[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all don't shout me down because I'm preaching good this morning already.

[SPEAKER_00]: Half of our songs, if there's more depressing than what you hear on the radio, half of, on secular radio, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: They're more joyous than what our songs are.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why in the world should songs that the world writes?

[SPEAKER_00]: Be more joyous than the songs of the church.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why in the world should there be more jubilation?

[SPEAKER_00]: at a secular concert than jubilation in the House of the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have been set free from the curse.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have conquered death because Jesus conquered death.

[SPEAKER_00]: We are writing and ruling in victory.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why our sound hasn't called up to where we are yet.

[SPEAKER_00]: Victory has a sound.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to hear me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Victory has us out.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know I'm giving this analogy before, but it bears repeating again and again and again because it's true and it resonates with us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Victory has us out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you go to a sporting event and your team wins, people don't just shuffle out quietly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is loud.

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you all with me?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's loud.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sound of victory is not quiet.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's loud.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sound of victory is not contemplative.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's loud.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sound of victory is not laying on your face.

[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing wrong with doing that in worship at times.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not necessarily the sound of victory.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sound of victory is loud.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is jubilant.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is exciting.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is joyous.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if we really believe that prison doors are shaking open, we worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: If we really believe that battles are one, then we worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: If we really believe that the lives are changed when we worship, then if we really believe that the sound of praise is the sound that changes everything, it is time for that sound to be heard, loud and clear.

[SPEAKER_00]: So before we even read the text, I want you to get ready, brace yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because I believe the Holy Spirit is igniting a spirit of praise in us once again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm one fifty, y'all with me.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, praise God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm one fifty says, praise the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise God in His sanctuary.

[SPEAKER_00]: praise him in his mighty permit praise him for his mighty acts praise him according to his excellent greatness praise him with the sound of the trumpet praise him with we do that here every something praise him with the loot in the heart let me give you let me give you a little bit of of modern analogy for that we're talking about the heart because we're not gonna I mean if somebody wants to play a heart praise God will figure it out but we're not necessarily gonna break the harp out but we will break out strained instruments marks up here praising him every week come on somebody

[SPEAKER_00]: Enoch's up here praising every week, dawn's up here praising him every week.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Get this, praise him with the timbre and the dance.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise him with stringed instruments and flutes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise him with loud symbols.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise him with clashing symbols.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go Marcus.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let everything come on somebody shout everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: that has breath, praise, the Lord, praise, the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first thing I want you to see in this song, what I'm gonna be, this can be a little bit different probably this morning and some of the way we've preached this throughout.

[SPEAKER_00]: So just buckle up.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the first thing I want you to see is this, is that praise is a divine command.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is not a suggestion.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it is a command.

[SPEAKER_00]: David doesn't say, praise the Lord if you play an instrument.

[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't say, praise the Lord if you can sing on pitch.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now praise the Lord with a microphone if you can sing on pitch.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you can't, you can just praise the Lord without one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say, praise the Lord if that is in your personality type.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say praise the Lord if you feel like it.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say praise the Lord if you've had a good week.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say praise the Lord if you and your spouse were getting along on the way to church.

[SPEAKER_00]: It simply says praise the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: Period.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's for all of us.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you don't understand.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm reserved.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know I don't care because they even didn't care.

[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it or not.

[SPEAKER_00]: Believe it or not, I am actually, I know some of you are going to be shocked by this.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am actually a very, very reserved personality type.

[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And people who are around me and close to me can tell you that, I am not the guy who is the life of the party.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am the guy who is perfectly content to stay at home with my family and chill.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are my people at?

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, somebody.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am not the hyper extrovert.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am not the loudest person in the room.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that is not my general personality.

[SPEAKER_00]: Pastor Post, when we say that was five years old, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I am not like my mother-in-law.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's laughing because y'all know Theresa.

[SPEAKER_00]: She is the loudest person in the room.

[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody can have a megaphone in the room, and she's still gonna be the loudest person in the room.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[SPEAKER_00]: That Pastor Paul has known me since I was five years old.

[SPEAKER_00]: He can tell you, my personality type is not to go in my life.

[SPEAKER_00]: Here you are, pardon time, let's go.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is none of my personality type.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if you know my dad, it is even the last of his personality type.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that man led worship all over the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because worship and praise is not about your personality type.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is about a command from heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let everything bring an add some extra syllables.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let everything that has breath.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a command.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a casual invitation.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is a mandate from heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise and God is not optional equipment.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's our obligation.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is our highest duty as his people.

[SPEAKER_00]: And when we praise, we aren't just singing, we're building a throne for the king.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm twenty two three says that God is in throne on the praises of his people.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you praise, I want you to think about it differently, because I think sometimes we have gotten this so mixed up in our minds, and even in different moves, we would say things like, and some of you older, I want to say older saints, seasoned praise God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some of you seasoned saints, we'll know what I'm talking about.

[SPEAKER_00]: You may have heard things like, we're going to come worship to prepare our hearts for the word this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I've heard that in a church service before, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Anybody ever heard that?

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, somebody I'll never want to church before you came here.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a relatively common, especially in the eighties and nineties, this type of things were very commonly said.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's worship and prepare our hearts for the word.

[SPEAKER_00]: And don't get me wrong.

[SPEAKER_00]: Worship, I believe will prepare your heart for the word.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the primary purpose of praise and worship is not to prepare your heart for the word.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's to create a throne for the king.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's because he inhabits the praises of his people.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's because whenever we praise things begin to shift and change in the atmosphere, it's not just well a good and aerobic workout and give them an Apple Watch praise so I can get my workout in for the day and I can say I was good.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you've never had an Apple Watch praise, you don't know what you're doing.

[SPEAKER_00]: You'll know that an apple watch.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't wear an apple watch.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wear a ring.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wear an activity ring.

[SPEAKER_00]: And whenever I'm done, I use to wear an apple watch.

[SPEAKER_00]: And whenever I'm the end of the day, I'm going to open up my app that tracks my thing and it's going to show me where you working out from nine a.m.

[SPEAKER_00]: to nine thirty.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go, yes, I was except Jesus saves, heals and delivers.

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, somebody.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just for that.

[SPEAKER_00]: is our praise invites God's reigning presence into our midst.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise is the gateway into His presence and His power.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Psalm declares that we praise Him in His sanctuary as we lift Him up, His glory fills this room.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm one hundred forces enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with what?

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just gonna, I don't have time to break this down theologically right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't have the time, but I do want to say this, we don't have to wait till the third song for the presence of God to be there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[SPEAKER_00]: We for some reason have this, and I don't have, I'm going to give me two minutes.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have this Outer Court Inner Court Holy of Holies theology, which was Moses Tabernacle, the Outer Court, the Inner Court, the Holy of Holies.

[SPEAKER_00]: That was never to be a patterned for worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those who worship the Lord will worship Him in spirit, and in truth, He is enthroned in the praises of His people.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's not like a spirit meter in God, kind of likes the fast songs a little bit, and He starts driving to church whenever we sing the fast songs.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then by the time we get to the slow songs, His spirit shows up.

[SPEAKER_00]: I believe from a moment that band is my fatherly before you can walk in this room just before service and if you don't already just feel the presence of God you probably aren't really tuned into the level that you need to tune in because I'm telling you before they even start playing the presence of God is already there in soundcheck it's already in the room

[SPEAKER_00]: We're not trying to get his presence here.

[SPEAKER_00]: His presence is here as we begin to worship and praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is there because he is in us.

[SPEAKER_00]: His spirit abides in us.

[SPEAKER_00]: So as we begin to worship, he's there and he shows up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you with me this morning?

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on the road.

[SPEAKER_00]: Worship will clear the way for the King to march him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And when God arrives on the scene, everything shifts under his authority.

[SPEAKER_00]: where praise rises the enemy is scattered.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe this when the king is enthroned in our praises, no demon, no sickness, no chain can remain, it has to go.

[SPEAKER_00]: God's authority displaces everything else.

[SPEAKER_00]: His authority displaces the enemy.

[SPEAKER_00]: In praise, what we do is we align earth with the government of heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: We align our lives with the government of heaven, and the atmosphere then has to bend to the decree of the king.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've already said it, but I want you to understand praise is not a warm-up or a filler.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not, we need to hit eighty-five minutes and I don't want to talk for that long, so let's put some music in.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a warm-up or filler.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is a weapon in the realm of the spirit.

[SPEAKER_00]: The enemy hates your praise, because praise wrecks his schemes.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you want to know, let me just say this real quick, in the old church.

[SPEAKER_00]: When I say the old church, I mean, some old line penicostal church, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: The old school Pentecost, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: My old school Pentecost people on the rim, praise God.

[SPEAKER_00]: I saw y'all jerk as soon as I said old school Pentecost, I knew it was y'all.

[SPEAKER_00]: The glory hits y'all, come on somebody, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_00]: In old school pinnacles, you couldn't just begin to worship as an act of faith.

[SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't just lift your hands.

[SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't just dance.

[SPEAKER_00]: You couldn't because that was in the flesh.

[SPEAKER_00]: You had to wait for the lightning bolt of heaven to hitchy.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then people had no restraint at all.

[SPEAKER_00]: They knock over children.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, well, it's the Holy Ghost, what you're gonna do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all are laughing because you know it's true.

[SPEAKER_00]: Steam roll some old lady, huh?

[SPEAKER_00]: God's in it, they'll be okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, but mine, and I've heard my dad say it's a hundred times, some of you've heard him say this.

[SPEAKER_00]: The question is always this, how can you, because, you know, it's preposites by saying this, because if you just began to worship, that was in the flesh.

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, some of y'all weren't anointed enough to know what I'm talking about.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was in the flesh.

[SPEAKER_00]: The question has always been, how can you be in the flesh doing something your flesh doesn't want to do?

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about you.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little tired this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody else was tired in the room.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little tired this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: I did not necessarily want to get out of bed this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: Believe it or not, pastors don't shoot up out of bed on Sunday morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: Go, this is the day the Lord has made our rejoice and be glad in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.

[SPEAKER_00]: We get tired too, just like yo.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's mornings, we don't want to go to church too, just like yo.

[SPEAKER_00]: We can't just stay home.

[SPEAKER_00]: We gotta show up anyway.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I showed up to church this morning, and then a service starts even with forty-some odd new chairs in here.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've got, and this isn't, this is fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing anything wrong.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've got usher's grabbing a one-way to do, where we sit people that are done, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't necessarily just put you in this atmosphere of being in tune with God in what he's doing.

[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what I did?

[SPEAKER_00]: As soon as I walked up the front row, I began to dance.

[SPEAKER_00]: I began to sing.

[SPEAKER_00]: I began to shout.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not because I feel it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But because he is worthy of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not because my flesh feels it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But because there is a command of let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: So guess what?

[SPEAKER_00]: I have to subject my will.

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on somebody.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of our biggest problems.

[SPEAKER_00]: We are not good at crucifying our flesh.

[SPEAKER_00]: One of our biggest issues in worship is we are not good at bringing our will in the subjection and following the command simply because it's there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I had a rough week.

[SPEAKER_00]: So did half the other room?

[SPEAKER_00]: We've got a worship in spite of how we feel, not because of how you feel.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're worshiping because of how you feel, that's not really even praise and worship anyways.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're on a emotional high and you're letting out a religious release from it.

[SPEAKER_00]: What you do is you worship in the storm.

[SPEAKER_00]: You worship when it's difficult.

[SPEAKER_00]: You praise when you're going through it because it silences your enemy and it brings you through as a weapon of warfare in those times.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hear me, praise literally broke chains in scripture.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't believe me, ask Paul in silence about the power of praise at midnight.

[SPEAKER_00]: In the darkest moment, in the darkest hour, they could have won.

[SPEAKER_00]: They could have complained.

[SPEAKER_00]: They could have said, I ain't feeling it right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, silence.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'd had a rough week.

[SPEAKER_00]: God, how could you want this out of me?

[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not what they did.

[SPEAKER_00]: They began to praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: They began to worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, it wasn't quiet.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was loud.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody else heard it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: What happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: God shook the prisons and it midnight, Paul and Silas praised and sang praises unto God.

[SPEAKER_00]: And immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loose.

[SPEAKER_00]: What is this showing us?

[SPEAKER_00]: It is showing us this that praise has the power to unlock the prison the enemy has put you in.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise has the power to unloose the shackles of the enemy, has attempted to place on your life.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you feel like you've been locked up, don't be quiet, don't be introspective, begin to worship, begin to praise, get in dignity, get loud, become undignified, like David did, and watch his call begins to shake the prison doors and unlock the chains.

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you with me?

[SPEAKER_00]: Make no mistake.

[SPEAKER_00]: Prayers will drive the enemy out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Martin Luther, Martin Luther is, Martin Luther said once, come let us sing a song and drive away the devil.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or the wisest thing is Martin Luther ever said, come let us sing a song and drive away the devil.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's no room for the enemy when God's people exalt Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: My fact you've seen Psalm chapter eight verse two says this, for this reason God ordained praise, sometimes I say strength, because of your enemies to silence the foe and to steal the avenger.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's what Jesus quotes in the triumphal entry.

[SPEAKER_00]: When they say Jesus, do you see what these people are doing?

[SPEAKER_00]: He goes, have you not read?

[SPEAKER_00]: Which is really funny, because Jesus knows they've read.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is very, this is Jesus being super sarcastic here, just to be frank with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all haven't read this?

[SPEAKER_00]: out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants, God or Dane praise, because of your enemies to silence the foe, and to steal the avenger when you lift a true praise in muzzles of the mouth of the enemy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Every time that we shall, I'm God or he's in to pray.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because I cracked there, so just don't forgive me.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think I went too high of a key.

[SPEAKER_00]: To praise the Lord, what happens is the enemy begins to run in every different direction.

[SPEAKER_00]: The enemy begins to be shackled and your shackles are loose.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hell quakes in the enemy's schemes are scattered in confusion.

[SPEAKER_00]: Amen?

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise, I want you to be praised.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to keep going with some more thoughts on this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise isn't just about what God has done, but it's about what He's going to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise is a prophetic decree of victory.

[SPEAKER_00]: Romans four, seventeen says to call those things that are not as though they were.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you praise before the breakthrough you are announcing by faith, my God is able and His victory is on the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what we do is we say things like, well, I don't want to be fake.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be authentic.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what we mean is I'm going to be moody and immature.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise God in the sanctuary this morning.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't actually mean, I don't want to be fake.

[SPEAKER_00]: What we really mean is I want to live with my emotions and do what I want to do because my way and pacifying myself is better than giving him what he is worthy of.

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, somebody.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to be whenever you are going through the valley of the shadow of death and you feel like everything is crashing in around you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Going, I will not fear.

[SPEAKER_00]: I will not fear.

[SPEAKER_00]: When the hand of me comes near on the door post, that will go above my life.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is the blood of Jesus Christ?

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not fake.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not fake.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not inauthentic.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is faith.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is prophetic.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is prophecy in your worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you feel like, nothing is gone your way.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I throw up my hands and praise you again and again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because all that I have is a hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you feel like you have everything but a hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not fake or inauthentic.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is prophetic.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is announcing the victory.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is announcing who you are.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is while the storm storms rage.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're not in denial.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's prophesying to the storm and saying peace be still.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise is faith turned into sound.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wish you hear me get.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise is faith turned into sound.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it's so important.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't sing your feelings.

[SPEAKER_00]: You sing the word.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't sing what you feel, but you feel lies.

[SPEAKER_00]: His word doesn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: I may have read a feeling lie to you before.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, some of you haven't lived very long.

[SPEAKER_00]: I may have read a feeling lie to you before.

[SPEAKER_00]: Feelings lie, but his word is forever settled.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is true.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't have the ability to be wrong, which means this.

[SPEAKER_00]: If he said it, it is the truth.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even if you don't feel it, doesn't matter what you feel, it matters what he said.

[SPEAKER_00]: We need some people that have the kind of praise that says, I don't have to wait to see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: My God spoken and I believe it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Joshua shouted before the walls fell.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jajahosaphat sang before the enemy was defeated.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we've got to praise before we see the answer.

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of you would see the answer a lot quicker if you would start praising and stop wallowing in your feelings.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is this too strong for you all this morning?

[SPEAKER_00]: This is why scripture says things like, let the weak say,

[SPEAKER_00]: I am strong.

[SPEAKER_00]: It says that they are weak, but it doesn't say talk about how weak you are.

[SPEAKER_00]: It says, let the weak say, I am strong.

[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, this is that way, and we're going to do a whole series on this, but this is that whole way that we're different from the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is the whole way that we're different from people who don't know Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: People who don't know Jesus are affected by what they feel and what they experience and where they are.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't live like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: We live contrary.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's weird to people.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make sense to people.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you are struggling financially and you say my gosh, I'll supply all my needs according to his riches and glory by Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is a make sense to the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter if it makes sense to the world or not.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is my praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is my worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is my declaration.

[SPEAKER_00]: Kids are living the way that they should, that we begin to praise and say, and we begin to sing songs like Miracle Child.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you begin to decree and declare that your children are coming home, that they are tall of the Lord and great will be their peace, that we decree and declare that just like the prodigal, that they're coming to their senses and they're coming home.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't worship a praise based on what we feel.

[SPEAKER_00]: We do it based upon what he said, because it is a prophetic decree into the future that begins to shape our reality.

[SPEAKER_00]: Scripture says this, death and life are in the power of the tongue.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they that love it will eat the fruit they're of.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now obviously, somebody will take this to extremes and you can't be real.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can't talk to anybody.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that.

[SPEAKER_00]: But what I'm saying is worship is not the time to just talk about all your problems.

[SPEAKER_00]: prayers, and even though there are times you need to be real with God and you need to express and talk about what you're going through.

[SPEAKER_00]: David did that, but at the end of the day, almost every single one of those songs always turns back to praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: I went through this, but you are good.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're mercy indoors forever.

[SPEAKER_00]: You are faithful to a thousand generations.

[SPEAKER_00]: You have to at a certain point change your complaint into a song.

[SPEAKER_00]: To change your sorrow into joy.

[SPEAKER_00]: In praise, we begin to echo our Creator.

[SPEAKER_00]: We say, Lord, you are our healer, even if sickness is still present.

[SPEAKER_00]: Lord, you are our provider, even if the bank account is low.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a prophetic praise to clearing who God is and what He will do before it even manifests.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hear me, a praising church will become a prophesying church.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not only that, Psalm one fifty verse two, urged us to praise him for his mighty acts and praise him.

[SPEAKER_00]: According to his excellent greatness, our praise is fueled by memory.

[SPEAKER_00]: We remember what God has done every deliverance, every healing, every answered prayer becomes fuel on the fire of our worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Has God been good to you?

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to try this again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Has God been good to you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Then don't stay silent.

[SPEAKER_00]: If God's been good for you to you, then don't stay silent.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like, look at His mighty acts and let out your praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: If He saves you, if He brought you out, give Him the glory that He's worthy of.

[SPEAKER_00]: When God moves in power, the only fitting response is uninhibited praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: When Jesus heals the ten lepers, one returned, glorifying God with a loud voice and thanksgiving.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't be like the other nine.

[SPEAKER_00]: Be the one.

[SPEAKER_00]: who whenever Jesus did something for him, returns in praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is what's really interesting.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think we actually see a concept here, and in ministry, you see this happen all the time.

[SPEAKER_00]: That God does things for people, and it is really, honestly, a small minority that turn around and give him praise for what he's done.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't be part of the majority.

[SPEAKER_00]: The lot of all the scripts of the majority is normally wrong.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't go with the flow, swim upstream.

[SPEAKER_00]: When God does something, give him praise because he's worthy.

[SPEAKER_00]: When God has done something for you in the past, give him worship because he's worthy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Heaven is looking for those who won't quietly pocket their miracle and walk back away.

[SPEAKER_00]: But they'll run back shouting his praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: He turns our morning into dancing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Many of the Psalms we studied and went through in this series began in trouble.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've already said this, but they ended up in praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm thirty-eleven says that you turn my morning into dancing.

[SPEAKER_00]: You removed my sackcloth and you clothed me with joy.

[SPEAKER_00]: When God delivers, when He brings you out, He brings you out with the song, like Miriam at the Red Sea.

[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of victory, what's the first thing they do?

[SPEAKER_00]: They praise God.

[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of deliverance, what's the first thing they do?

[SPEAKER_00]: They sing a song.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the first thing they do is they give worship to the king who brought them through.

[SPEAKER_00]: She sang the Lord has triumphed gloriously.

[SPEAKER_00]: She didn't say, look what we've done.

[SPEAKER_00]: But she sang the Lord has triumphed gloriously.

[SPEAKER_00]: She knew that they had been delivered and deliverance deserved a dance.

[SPEAKER_00]: It deserved a praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: Salvation demands a song, our God is a God who saves, and we are to respond with praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: Never forget to praise him for past victories.

[SPEAKER_00]: It paves away for the future ones.

[SPEAKER_00]: David said, bless a Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits, and Psalm one or three verse two.

[SPEAKER_00]: When we recount what he's done, how many God do something great for you?

[SPEAKER_00]: When we recount what he has done, and not only honors God, but it builds our faith that he'll do it again.

[SPEAKER_00]: worship is to him, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise is to him, but it also builds us up.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, some of y'all aren't sure.

[SPEAKER_00]: praises to him and it is for him but as we praise it builds us up I don't know if you ever done this you ever I've done this I do this all the time you ever came to church and you felt like you were just carrying something but you made the choice that regardless of what you felt you were just gonna get after Come on somebody I'll have it had this experience yet you need to have it this morning if you have it I've been there and you know when ends up happening it builds you up

[SPEAKER_00]: Because whenever you magnify him, it builds your own spirit man up as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Every hallelujah for yesterday's miracle is a prophetic seed for tomorrow's breakthrough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's an anchor in our hearts and gratitude.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what we do is we are roaring in our praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: Do it again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: Do it again.

[SPEAKER_00]: He starts wrapping up the summon verse six.

[SPEAKER_00]: He says, let everything that has breath, praise Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the ultimate open invitation.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to hear me.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're breathing, come to me in the room breathing.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[SPEAKER_00]: We can make it to EMTs for someone to yell.

[SPEAKER_00]: We've got paddle somewhere, guys.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're breathing, if you're breathing, you are qualified.

[SPEAKER_00]: No one is excluded from this course.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say if you believe rightly praise the Lord, let everything that has breath, praise the Lord, young or old, rich or poor, new believer or seasoned saint, every voice matters in this symphony of worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: The song doesn't say let all the perfect people praise the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't say let all the people who've got to figure it out praise the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's simply, if you've got breath in your lungs, use it to praise God.

[SPEAKER_00]: No excuses, no exceptions, as long as you're alive, your highest purpose is to give him praise, and you don't ever mature past this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you understand, Pastor?

[SPEAKER_00]: I've been saved for a long time, and I've just reached a point of maturity that I don't need all of that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think Paul was pretty mature.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, some of you aren't sure like I don't know if Paul's quite in reach to the status of me.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll review the spirit of pride out of you in Jesus' name.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't mature past praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't mature past worship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just like you don't mature past prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't mature past these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't grow past this.

[SPEAKER_00]: My fact, you should be growing deeper into it.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not what I've known God a long time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, the Lord, you know Him, the more it should provoke you to praise Him.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you really know Him, it shouldn't make you shy away from praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: It should push you further into praise if you really know who He is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Revelation five, thirteen gives us this picture of the future.

[SPEAKER_00]: I heard every creature and heaven on earth and under the earth and in the sea.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to hear that really, really good.

[SPEAKER_00]: I heard every creature in heaven on earth, under the earth, and in the sea singing, blessing, honor, and glory, and power, be to him who sits on the tongue, think about that every creature, everything that has breath, all giving him praise, and we get to join that choir now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not one day, we get to join that choir now.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_00]: The scripture, I'm going to wrap.

[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, wait.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Scripture talks about worse surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses.

[SPEAKER_00]: I believe this firmly.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you can believe it, not believe it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really care.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can have whatever you thought you want to have.

[SPEAKER_00]: Praise God.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can be wrong.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's a joke, marginally.

[SPEAKER_00]: The end of the day, I believe this, I believe that whenever we worship, that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses who have gone before us, who are worshiping the Lord right now, and we get to join in with that chorus.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just the church here in Panama City, worshiping God, that we are part of the big sea church, that all worship the Lord together, the sanctu of God before us, love going to have gone before us, people who have gone before us, that whenever we praise, that we don't just praise in this sanctuary.

[SPEAKER_00]: but our praise penetrates into a place that transcends time, it transcends space, it transcends limit limits, and it takes us to a place where we begin to worship with all of creation.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever we praise, it isn't just about you, but it is about all of creation and us joining with the chorus to give thanksgiving

[SPEAKER_00]: and glory in honor to the one who is seated on the throne forever and ever, the one who saved me, the one who delivered me, the one who brought me out, the one who sits in glory, the lamb who was slain before the very foundations of the world, and we get the honor and the glory to enter into that praise.

[SPEAKER_00]: How can I do anything other than give him my absolute best whenever I join with the chorus of all of heaven and all of creation?

[SPEAKER_00]: Saps your feet!
