  2. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey everybody, this is Pastor Josh.

  3. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll leave Pastor here at High-braze and I want to thank you for downloading today's podcast.

  4. [SPEAKER_00]: We know that this message is going to encourage and bless you.

  5. [SPEAKER_00]: So I want you to open up your heart and receive with the Lord as for you today.

  6. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd say you want every single one of us have so much to be happy about, to rejoice about.

  7. [SPEAKER_01]: And I know we're just coming out of a season of thanksgiving, but I want to encourage you even this morning, even as we move into a season of Christmas, don't stop your thanksgiving.

  8. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen continue to be thankful for everything that God is doing.

  9. [SPEAKER_01]: God's doing a lot of great things here within this church body and Pastor Joshua Miranda.

  10. [SPEAKER_01]: They are doing an absolutely awesome job.

  11. [SPEAKER_01]: Can we just give the Lord a big praise for Pastor Joshua Miranda?

  12. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen

  13. [SPEAKER_01]: And the entire staff, Pastor Garrett, there's never a dull moment things are always going on, there's a lot going on that you don't even see.

  14. [SPEAKER_01]: That's going on, things happening, but God is always faithful, amen.

  15. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you believe that we serve a faithful God today?

  16. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  17. [SPEAKER_01]: Brother Bobby and Kelly, as I, this one, the Lord gave me a word for you and I felt like the Lord was saying that even there is a quick turnaround that he is bringing.

  18. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says where there's been the sag and the lag, the Lord says I'm bringing abundance and God says suddenly is going to happen, suddenly the breakthrough is coming and the Lord says even what you've been praying for and even what you've been to creen.

  19. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lord says, even I'm going to bring forth within your life.

  20. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, you're going to see my hand.

  21. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, even the rumors and even the lie that came.

  22. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lord says, surely, I am causing to be disbanded within your life this day.

  23. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, I am turning your morning into

  24. [SPEAKER_01]: And God says, I'm turning your sorrow into joy.

  25. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, I haven't forgotten what I said a year ago.

  26. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, even two years ago and five years ago.

  27. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, no, that I am faithful to perform.

  28. [SPEAKER_01]: I am faithful to do.

  29. [SPEAKER_01]: And I am faithful to accomplish.

  30. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lord says, even as you keep your eyes on me.

  31. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lord says, I'm the author and the finisher of your faith.

  32. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, what I said and what I started,

  33. [SPEAKER_01]: I will surely perform within your life.

  34. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, I'm even, God says, I'm rectifying even some health conditions.

  35. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, I'm healing your body.

  36. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, even from the top of your head to the souls of your feet.

  37. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lord says, I'm bringing healing this day.

  38. [SPEAKER_01]: And the Lord says, the stress,

  39. [SPEAKER_01]: God says, cast your care on me.

  40. [SPEAKER_01]: The Lord says, have it you see me take care of you and that years pass, the Lord says no, that I'm gonna take care of you and God says the end will be better than the beginning.

  41. [SPEAKER_01]: Says the Spirit of the Lord.

  42. [SPEAKER_01]: For the Lord says, I am faithful.

  43. [SPEAKER_01]: And surely I will do what I have promised says the Spirit of the Lord.

  44. [SPEAKER_01]: Can we give the Lord a praise this morning?

  45. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

  46. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  47. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to tell all of you just communicate with you how much we appreciate you praying for as you know, over the last probably three to four months, particularly we have been traveling a tremendous amount.

  48. [SPEAKER_01]: We've ministered in New Jersey.

  49. [SPEAKER_01]: We've ministered in Washington, D.C., ministered in a little rock arc and saw down in Orlando.

  50. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, we've been traveling back and forth also, as many of you know, my son-in-law Kelvin went through a health battle.

  51. [SPEAKER_01]: And we didn't even realize at the moment that everything was taking place how close to death.

  52. [SPEAKER_01]: He was knocking on desk door and Doc, you could probably confirm this.

  53. [SPEAKER_01]: His meld scored for his liver was 44.

  54. [SPEAKER_01]: That is extremely, extremely high.

  55. [SPEAKER_01]: They put people on transplant list when they get to 15.

  56. [SPEAKER_01]: And his was 44.

  57. [SPEAKER_01]: And from all the information that we received, that meant that if it didn't turn around quickly, he had about three weeks to live.

  58. [SPEAKER_01]: And but thank God, God turned it around.

  59. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

  60. [SPEAKER_01]: We have good news today.

  61. [SPEAKER_01]: Praise God.

  62. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's going back, he was supposed to go back to work this week, but he's actually going back next week.

  63. [SPEAKER_01]: And God's doing a work within him, we just had yesterday was our daughter's birthday, and we had lunch with them, and he was his old self, and actually better than his old self.

  64. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the Lord's probably worked a little more.

  65. [SPEAKER_01]: gratefulness and thankfulness, even for his father-in-law, now, hallelujah.

  66. [SPEAKER_01]: It seems like sometimes when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, there are some things that God will work in you while you're walking through that situation, and that circumstances.

  67. [SPEAKER_01]: Anybody ever had God work something in you when you were walking through the valley of the shadow of death, and we've all been there at seasons and times.

  68. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you when you're walking through it.

  69. [SPEAKER_01]: On the other side, there's a new thankfulness that begins to rise within your heart, and within your spirit, and you begin to realize, Lord, I thank you that you are my father.

  70. [SPEAKER_01]: I thank you, Lord, that you are a good God.

  71. [SPEAKER_01]: I thank you, Lord, that you are faithful to what you have promised, listen, my friend.

  72. [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever promise you have today, know that God is good for it.

  73. [SPEAKER_01]: And what he said in the beginning, he's gonna do and fulfill in the end.

  74. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the Alpha and the Omega and what he started,

  75. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  76. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody say, God is going to take care of it for you.

  77. [SPEAKER_01]: If you will this morning, turn to Luke chapter 2, but anyway, I just want to tell all of you how much we appreciate you.

    Luke 2 chapter mention

  78. [SPEAKER_01]: We did take a week of, I've been in quotations, vacation.

  79. [SPEAKER_01]: We always take usually the week after Thanksgiving has always been.

  80. [SPEAKER_01]: We've been taking that week for quite a while.

  81. [SPEAKER_01]: And I still ended up riding, I wrote 10,000 words, I'm only two short chapters away.

  82. [SPEAKER_01]: from being complete, private in this book, completed.

  83. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been working feverishly on it.

  84. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm really excited about this voices of leadership.

  85. [SPEAKER_01]: Pray with me.

  86. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to find somebody to get it done this week.

  87. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how, but I'm going to, you know, just have many say I'll pray for your apostle Robert, praise the Lord, amen.

  88. [SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate it very much, but we've had so much going on over the last three to six months, and as I said, Pastor Stacey, she's been traveling back and forth and that's sometimes together just to be there to help out with the kids because they don't have family in Orlando, and so we just been there to minister to them and help them, but thank you so much for all your prayers.

  89. [SPEAKER_01]: I know Pastor Joshua last week started a wonderful series called the Carols of Christmas,

  90. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, we were gone.

  91. [SPEAKER_01]: I tuned in on Sunday.

  92. [SPEAKER_01]: We were out of town, but I tuned in and actually on the stream.

  93. [SPEAKER_01]: And I actually, I still call it tuning in.

  94. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm dating myself.

  95. [SPEAKER_01]: I understand.

  96. [SPEAKER_01]: I watched the stream.

  97. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

  98. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, watch the stream.

  99. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was a very, very powerful, powerful message.

  100. [SPEAKER_01]: The pastor Joshua ministered this past week.

  101. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to continue in that

  102. [SPEAKER_01]: same flow, and so I want to read out a Luke chapter two verse sentences, then the angel said to them, do not be afraid for behold, I bring you good tidings, hallelujah, of great joy, which will be to all people.

  103. [SPEAKER_01]: For there is more unto you this day in the city of David, a Savior who has Christ the Lord.

  104. [SPEAKER_01]: And this will be the sign to you.

  105. [SPEAKER_01]: You will find a babe wrapped in swadling clothes, lying in a manger.

  106. [SPEAKER_01]: And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of the heavenly hosts praising God and saying, glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, goodwill, everybody shout, goodwill.

  107. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, whenever I understand, when the angels were shouting, they say, we're not talking about a three-store.

  108. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you understand that?

  109. [SPEAKER_01]: They were talking about the goodwill of God.

  110. [SPEAKER_01]: Goodwill toward men.

  111. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's pray this morning.

  112. [SPEAKER_01]: Father, we thank you for your word today.

  113. [SPEAKER_01]: We thank you, Lord, your word will not return void, but it will accomplish in the thing where until you have sinned.

  114. [SPEAKER_01]: Father, I pray that you would anoint my tongue as the pen of a ready and skillful writer that I would speak for the words of life and edification to your people in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, a man and a man.

  115. [SPEAKER_01]: I know most of you probably familiar with the Christmas Carol, it came upon a midnight clear.

  116. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you have ever sang the song before, probably all of us, or at least you've heard it.

  117. [SPEAKER_01]: I can remember going up, of course, we always sang Christmas Carol's this time of year.

  118. [SPEAKER_01]: in church, and we didn't just sing them in church.

  119. [SPEAKER_01]: We sang them even within school.

  120. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it ain't about to remember those times when you could actually sing those, I guess maybe they still can, I'm not sure, but we back over 50 years, 60, almost 60 years ago.

  121. [SPEAKER_01]: We could sing those whenever I was going to school.

  122. [SPEAKER_01]: And the lyrics of the song are, it came upon the midnight clear that glorious song

  123. [SPEAKER_01]: to hurt, to touch their hearts of gold.

  124. [SPEAKER_01]: Peace on the earth, good will to men from heaven's all gracious king.

  125. [SPEAKER_01]: So message coming from heaven.

  126. [SPEAKER_01]: The world in solemn stillness laid here, the angel sing.

  127. [SPEAKER_01]: I love the line, peace on the earth, good will to men.

  128. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, this Christmas Carol was actually written in 1849

  129. [SPEAKER_01]: I actually a part-time pastor named Edmund Sears, who passed through the Wayland, Massachusetts.

  130. [SPEAKER_01]: But yet, it still has a very powerful message for us today.

  131. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, one of the things that I love to hear today is I love to hear songs that are theologically sound number one.

  132. [SPEAKER_01]: But I love to hear songs that are actually full of the Word of God.

  133. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you know God's Word never returns void?

  134. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's important.

  135. [SPEAKER_01]: If we're going to worship in spirit and in truth, then we worship with the Word.

  136. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody and say, worship with the Word.

  137. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, songs that are filled with the word are filled with power.

  138. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, the song that we sang at the very end, the blessing, well, it comes from the word.

  139. [SPEAKER_01]: It comes straight out of the Bible.

  140. [SPEAKER_01]: And whenever we begin to sing those types of songs, there's power that is released.

  141. [SPEAKER_01]: There's power that God causes to be released within those songs.

  142. [SPEAKER_01]: There's an anointing that begins to flow in the midst of those, that type of music and that type of singing.

  143. [SPEAKER_01]: But the angels begin to proclaim this peace and goodwill to men.

  144. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the things that we need to understand and grasp hold of today, and this is probably the most elementary principle, actually within the kingdom of God and really the gospel, and that is this, that God is good.

  145. [SPEAKER_01]: With everybody say, God is good.

  146. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, sometimes we say things like that, but we don't really realize the fullness of what we're saying.

  147. [SPEAKER_01]: But you have to understand there was a time and season where the revelation of God's goodness was not prevalent as a matter of fact under the law.

  148. [SPEAKER_01]: That was not the predominant understanding and the predominant revelation that was had by most of those that were living in the Old Testament.

  149. [SPEAKER_01]: They saw God as the angry old man.

  150. [SPEAKER_01]: Holding a shotgun, I know it wasn't invented back then, but he's holding a shotgun rocking on his porch, just waiting for somebody to actually step into his yard.

  151. [SPEAKER_01]: You ever, and probably some of you even brought up, and that might have been what was taught to you as far as the nature of God and the way that he operates and the way that he functions.

  152. [SPEAKER_01]: But I want to everybody to understand that God is not the angry old man.

  153. [SPEAKER_01]: As a matter of fact, if anything, he's sitting there on the front door and he's inviting you to come into his house.

  154. [SPEAKER_01]: right?

  155. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not trying to keep you away.

  156. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I so often how we as believers we're trying to find reasons that people can't be come apart of the kingdom whenever God actually came and he sent Jesus to make a way for everybody to become a part of the kingdom of God.

  157. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen?

  158. [SPEAKER_01]: The way has been made for everyone.

  159. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody and say everyone.

  160. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, one of the things that we read and have again is a very common scripture we all know it is a matter of fact, if you watch football, you know the actual reference.

  161. [SPEAKER_01]: John 3 16, how many times have you seen a football player with John 3 16 painted on his face somewhere?

  162. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's even more than Philippians Ford 19, our 13, excuse me.

  163. [SPEAKER_01]: And of course, we know the scripture for God's so love,

  164. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're gonna just stop right there for just a minute.

  165. [SPEAKER_01]: For God's so love, you know, God loves the world.

  166. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't just love high praise, right?

  167. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't just love brother Larry.

  168. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean brother Larry, he looks really good this morning.

  169. [SPEAKER_01]: Larry, can you just stand up for just a moment?

  170. [SPEAKER_01]: He looks like a banker today.

  171. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at him.

  172. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you man, he looks like a million dollars over there.

  173. [SPEAKER_01]: And he is a banker just so you know, he's playing the part well today.

  174. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't just why I've looked at that.

  175. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, absolutely beautiful color coordinated and everything.

  176. [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, this is a wonderful, wonderful family.

  177. [SPEAKER_01]: But listen, Jesus didn't come just to die for them.

  178. [SPEAKER_01]: And he didn't come just to die for castle in Bethany, or Andy and Cindy, or Will and Nakia, or Gil and Ruthy, or Pastor Casey and Lindsey, Hallelujah, or Dawkins, and Linda, or either he, he got it and just come to die for them what we would call the nice people.

  179. [SPEAKER_01]: He says that God so loved that he gave is only begotten son that who so ever would believe

  180. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I want us to read on to the next scripture, verse 17.

  181. [SPEAKER_01]: He says, this, for God did not send His Son into the world to do what, to condemn the world.

  182. [SPEAKER_01]: How often are we the ones that are sitting in the seed that's condemning others that don't think like us that don't act like us whenever the whole idea, what we celebrate is Christmas, is that Jesus, the Father, sin, Jesus,

  183. [SPEAKER_01]: That means that people that you don't like, that means that people that may not think the way that you think, does anybody have any of those people that you know of.

  184. [SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, that also includes your lost loved ones.

  185. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen?

  186. [SPEAKER_01]: He loved the world that whoever would believe in him would not perish, but have everlasting life.

  187. [SPEAKER_01]: So one of the things that we have to understand is that our God is a good God.

  188. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody, so he's a good God.

  189. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody, say, good God.

  190. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

  191. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a good God, he's not looking for a reason to keep you out.

  192. [SPEAKER_01]: He's made a way to bring you in.

  193. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not looking for a reason to shut the door in your face.

  194. [SPEAKER_01]: Know what he's done is he's made doors.

  195. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus came as the door, he is the doorway and all you have to do is believe in him, amen.

  196. [SPEAKER_01]: Now understand this, if God himself is good, that means this, his will is good.

  197. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will for your life is good.

  198. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will for your life is not bad.

  199. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's amazing to hear sometimes people talk even people in the body of Christ.

  200. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about believers that will begin to attribute things that are not good to actually being the will of God.

  201. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, unfortunately, in my lifetime, there's been times where people had, you know, this horrible sickness and things didn't go their way.

  202. [SPEAKER_01]: They didn't see healing and then we hear things like this while it must have just been the will of God.

  203. [SPEAKER_01]: You ever heard that before?

  204. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, you don't hear it here at this church, but I'm telling you, I've heard it before.

  205. [SPEAKER_01]: It just must have been the will of God.

  206. [SPEAKER_01]: It must have been the will of God for this to happen to them.

  207. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they were killed tragically to accident.

  208. [SPEAKER_01]: It must have just been the will of God.

  209. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I want to add by to hear this and to hear it loud and hear it clear.

  210. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will is blessing.

  211. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will is health.

  212. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will is wholeness.

  213. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will is to see your business prosper, amen.

  214. [SPEAKER_01]: Beloved, I wish above all things that you would prosper and be in health even as your soul prosperous.

  215. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the will of God, amen.

  216. [SPEAKER_01]: The will of God is not destruction.

  217. [SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't say that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believed in Him would have destruction and pain and agony all the days of their life.

  218. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that what your Bible says?

  219. [SPEAKER_01]: No, it says that you, whoever believed in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life.

  220. [SPEAKER_01]: The Zoe life of God, listen, there is no death, there is no destruction, there is no pain, there is no heartache in the life of God, amen.

  221. [SPEAKER_01]: It's good.

  222. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody say, God's will is good for you.

  223. [SPEAKER_01]: Now again, this is one of the most fundamental principles of Christianity.

  224. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just that God is good and that His will is good.

  225. [SPEAKER_01]: It affects everything else that you believe.

  226. [SPEAKER_01]: This has to be the foundation from which we operate.

  227. [SPEAKER_01]: Now you may say, well, that is very simple and you're exactly right, it is simple.

  228. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, the gospel is not this difficult message.

  229. [SPEAKER_01]: There is complexity within it when you begin to break it down

  230. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus, whenever he was talking about the kingdom of God and the way he functions, he basically said this, if you can understand how a seed functions, then you can understand the kingdom of God.

  231. [SPEAKER_01]: The entire kingdom of God operates just like a seed.

  232. [SPEAKER_01]: Now there is complexity within that.

  233. [SPEAKER_01]: However, the principle itself is very simple.

  234. [SPEAKER_01]: So understand, God's not making it difficult, He's not making it hard.

  235. [SPEAKER_01]: And so I wanted to just the basic fundamental principle that we all need to have.

  236. [SPEAKER_01]: It needs to be on the inside of us.

  237. [SPEAKER_01]: It needs to be dwelling there to the point to where nobody can take it away from you.

  238. [SPEAKER_01]: And that is this.

  239. [SPEAKER_01]: My God is good, Hallelujah.

  240. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you can say this morning?

  241. [SPEAKER_01]: God has been good to me, Hallelujah.

  242. [SPEAKER_01]: Can anybody say God has been really good to me?

  243. [SPEAKER_01]: for you that are married, you ought to be able to say, God has been really good to me, right?

  244. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you woke up this morning?

  245. [SPEAKER_01]: And that was a roof over your head.

  246. [SPEAKER_01]: God has been good to you.

  247. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you had to actually were able to drive an automobile and you to get soaking wet, driving here?

  248. [SPEAKER_01]: Can you say, God is good to me?

  249. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you woke up this morning?

  250. [SPEAKER_01]: And you had breath in your body?

  251. [SPEAKER_01]: God has been good to you, amen?

  252. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you woke up that are your bearery by the way I want to make sure you understand this, you're married and you woke up beside the most beautiful creation in the world today.

  253. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  254. [SPEAKER_01]: This is your opportunity.

  255. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you one more opportunity on this.

  256. [SPEAKER_01]: How many of you have been woke up this morning and you can say God has been really, really good to me, how do you do you?

  257. [SPEAKER_01]: That's still weak, man.

  258. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you.

  259. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, you oughta be standing up going, whoa!

  260. [SPEAKER_01]: We got single people that'll do that, and they're not even married.

  261. [SPEAKER_01]: Now I woke up this morning, Halle Luja, song came to my mind.

  262. [SPEAKER_01]: y'all know what it is.

  263. [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing like 60-year-old guy singing Brick House, right?

  264. [SPEAKER_01]: Brick.

  265. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what, I look at myself and I go falling down house there.

  266. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?

  267. [SPEAKER_01]: I got the good end of the stick.

  268. [SPEAKER_01]: I got the good end of the bargain.

  269. [SPEAKER_01]: God's been good to all of us.

  270. [SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things that we have to really have an understanding of is the same goodness that God has shown to us.

  271. [SPEAKER_01]: We are then responsible to show to others.

  272. [SPEAKER_01]: We are responsible to declare to others.

  273. [SPEAKER_01]: We are responsible to demonstrate to others.

  274. [SPEAKER_01]: Because the goodness of God isn't just for us, it's for even those who don't believe like us right now.

  275. [SPEAKER_01]: But if we'll begin to start to demonstrate the goodness of God, the goodness of God is what leads man to repentance.

  276. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you following what I'm saying?

  277. [SPEAKER_01]: Whenever we begin to speak about the goodness of God, the goodness of God will draw men to repentance.

  278. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what Paul said.

  279. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the goodness of man, the goodness of God that leads to repentance.

  280. [SPEAKER_01]: See, just telling somebody, you're bad, you're evil.

  281. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're going to hell.

  282. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not necessary.

  283. [SPEAKER_01]: They might say a sinner's prayer, but that doesn't cause him to change.

  284. [SPEAKER_01]: You hear what I'm saying?

  285. [SPEAKER_01]: We've had a lot of people say a sinner's prayer because they were scared of the flames.

  286. [SPEAKER_01]: But they're listening, there's a better way, amen?

  287. [SPEAKER_01]: Whenever you begin to understand of the goodness of God, you say Lord, why would I not serve him?

  288. [SPEAKER_01]: Why wouldn't I not lay down my life for him?

  289. [SPEAKER_01]: Because his goodness is so great to me, hallelujah.

  290. [SPEAKER_01]: So before Jesus came to perception, people had of God, see Anger, old man, he's gonna knock you over the head.

  291. [SPEAKER_01]: For anything that you did wrong, they said every single one of us need to be thankful today, that God doesn't knock you over the head.

  292. [SPEAKER_01]: For everything that you do wrong.

  293. [SPEAKER_01]: Right?

  294. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, every one of us becoming in would not like this on our head every week.

  295. [SPEAKER_01]: Because there's nobody here, nobody here.

  296. [SPEAKER_01]: Now we're all growing and we should listen, we should not sin a little bit every day.

  297. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to sin.

  298. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to participate in things that are ungodly or unholy.

  299. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen?

  300. [SPEAKER_01]: Right?

  301. [SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, if you fall, it's good to know that we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.

  302. [SPEAKER_01]: And his righteousness is greater than your sin, amen?

  303. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's not gonna knock you over the head

  304. [SPEAKER_01]: So Jesus came to reveal the good will of God to all of us.

  305. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Himself was the will of God in full manifestation.

  306. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, one of the things I appreciate about the high praise school of ministry and Pastor Casey in the very beginning,

  307. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the things that he taught in our theology class is that everything that you read in the Bible has to be interpreted through the lens of Jesus.

  308. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  309. [SPEAKER_01]: We're not interpreting Jesus through the Old Testament.

  310. [SPEAKER_01]: We interpret the Old Testament through the lens of Christ, through the lens of Jesus.

  311. [SPEAKER_01]: We're looking at everything through what Jesus said.

  312. [SPEAKER_01]: As a matter of fact, even whenever you read the epistles of Paul, you've got to interpret it through the teaching and the demonstration of what Jesus did.

  313. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything has to be looked at through the lens of Jesus.

  314. [SPEAKER_01]: Hear this, what if we, as born again, spirit for believers, every single day of our life, begin to look at everything that's going on and all of those around us through the lens of Jesus?

  315. [SPEAKER_01]: What if we started looking at others through the lens of Jesus, what, which the lens of Jesus is this?

  316. [SPEAKER_01]: I love that individual.

  317. [SPEAKER_01]: I died for that individual.

  318. [SPEAKER_01]: I want that individual to be a part of my kingdom.

  319. [SPEAKER_01]: I want them to be a part of my family.

  320. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what?

  321. [SPEAKER_01]: You'd have a different viewpoint on the drug addict and over the pusher and over the prostitute and over the those that aren't living right for the Lord, over those who don't think the way that you think.

  322. [SPEAKER_01]: See, many times what we've done in the churches, we've made enemies of people if they don't think like us then they are my enemy, right?

  323. [SPEAKER_01]: That's God.

  324. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's not looking at people through the lens of Jesus.

  325. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you following what I'm saying?

  326. [SPEAKER_01]: You're looking at people through the lens of your favorite talking head on a news program.

  327. [SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you we need to get another vision?

  328. [SPEAKER_01]: We need to begin to look again.

  329. [SPEAKER_01]: We need to get into the look different and look through the lens of Jesus.

  330. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you getting anything out of this?

  331. [SPEAKER_01]: So Jesus came to reveal the good will of God to us.

  332. [SPEAKER_01]: He was the will of God in full manifestation.

  333. [SPEAKER_01]: If you want to know what the will of God is for your life, then you need to look at Jesus.

  334. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus is the perfect will of God in manifestation.

  335. [SPEAKER_01]: He is the perfect plan of God for your life.

  336. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything Jesus taught and demonstrated.

  337. [SPEAKER_01]: That is the Father's perfect plan for you.

  338. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, to hear this, for most things in your life, you don't need to pray for God to reveal his will.

  339. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't even need a prophetic word, even though that's wonderful and great, and there's a purpose for prophetic ministry.

  340. [SPEAKER_01]: All you need to do is merely look at Jesus because Jesus is the will of God in manifestation for your life, amen?

  341. [SPEAKER_01]: So here's this, number one.

  342. [SPEAKER_01]: The good will of God is that you be forgiven.

  343. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody and say, God wants you to be forgiven.

  344. [SPEAKER_01]: See, God does not want you to live in a place of condemnation.

  345. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're thinking about what happened five years ago, three years ago, 10 years ago, 15 years ago.

  346. [SPEAKER_01]: My friend is time for you to let that thing be buried once and for all.

  347. [SPEAKER_01]: God wants you to be forgiven and he wants it to be taken away.

  348. [SPEAKER_01]: He wants to erase it from your consciousness.

  349. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

  350. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  351. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I appreciate so much what's going on with our Tuesday night, the Celebrate Recovery.

  352. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, but we're not looking at Tory through the lens of what she was five years ago.

  353. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you all right, six years ago?

  354. [SPEAKER_01]: Seven years ago, however many years ago, how long have you been totally clean now?

  355. [SPEAKER_01]: Six years have been totally clean, but we're not listening.

  356. [SPEAKER_01]: I remember her before six years ago.

  357. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's the process that she had to walk out.

  358. [SPEAKER_01]: But I would say this, I'm not seeing her and I'm not looking at her through the lens of where she was seven years ago or eight years ago, amen?

  359. [SPEAKER_01]: And we have to begin to also, when we look in the mirror, we can't look through the lens of what happened in our life ten years ago.

  360. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not you.

  361. [SPEAKER_01]: We sang the song this morning.

  362. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for the stone, it's been rolled away.

  363. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for the old me, it's long gone.

  364. [SPEAKER_01]: You'll keep helping me.

  365. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not the same.

  366. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

  367. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for the old me, it's long gone.

  368. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for what I used to be, it's long gone.

  369. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for what was going on 20 years ago, that's long gone, Hallelujah.

  370. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for the old jacked up me that was on drugs and was up and down one day on fire for God in the next day, as long as anybody on the street, you know, that person is long gone, Hallelujah.

  371. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  372. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, Kyle is on staff now with us here at the church.

  373. [SPEAKER_01]: He's been on staff for a little while.

  374. [SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate him so much.

  375. [SPEAKER_01]: He does all of our maintenance and things like that.

  376. [SPEAKER_01]: Kyle, he's the real tall guy.

  377. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

  378. [SPEAKER_01]: But I remember whenever he had Amber first showed up, and I think it's, I'm not understanding that, I'm saying this, it's fair to say, he was a little jacked up, is that fair to say?

  379. [SPEAKER_01]: And one day he's on fire, I forgot, and there was all kinds of things that I'll let him sometimes give his testimony if he wants to, but I mean, there was all sorts of crazy stuff going on.

  380. [SPEAKER_01]: Right, and I was big the biggest shock to me was that they were cut that come from a from a a pentacostal background And I'm thinking where's a pentacost here, you know, it's like the pentacost was long gone

  381. [SPEAKER_01]: And he was one day serving God crying, weeping at the altar, and then the next thing, something else that's going on, and he had done, become very closely acquainted with a woman named Mary Jane.

  382. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about a literal, I'm the woman, okay, I'm going to keep on going here.

  383. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

  384. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, he loved Mary Jane.

  385. [SPEAKER_01]: He was being unfaithful with Amber with Mary Jane.

  386. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was up one day down the other, one day down the other, one day down the other,

  387. [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, if I was looking at him through the eyes of what was happening with Mary Jane, he wouldn't be on stare for out here.

  388. [SPEAKER_01]: We're looking beyond.

  389. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a good God that's done something within his life, amen?

  390. [SPEAKER_01]: Mary Jane, it's a God, I love you.

  391. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, if you're having an affair with Mary Jane, you need to be delivered in San Furrier also, and deliverance is available for you.

  392. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen?

  393. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to smell like a skunk everywhere you go in a longer hallelujah.

  394. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, you can smell good.

  395. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

  396. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

  397. [SPEAKER_01]: Right.

  398. [SPEAKER_01]: Y'all love me.

  399. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going, we don't keep it real here.

  400. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, our trip back, I gotta tell you this or our trip back.

  401. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, we just, we walked by car.

  402. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not kidding, we walked by car to park in a lot.

  403. [SPEAKER_01]: We stopped at a Walmart and, you know, anyway, nonetheless, I won't get all the details.

  404. [SPEAKER_01]: Walk by car, and I'm telling you, I said, my Lord, what in the world?

  405. [SPEAKER_01]: The whole car is smelt like a scunk.

  406. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they were raising scunks for pets or anything like that either.

  407. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  408. [SPEAKER_01]: So the goodwill of God is that you may forgive and the good news is that Carl got was forgiven.

  409. [SPEAKER_01]: The good news is though his sins were as scarlet.

  410. [SPEAKER_01]: They had been washed wide as to know how to lose you.

  411. [SPEAKER_01]: The good news is though.

  412. [SPEAKER_01]: He probably wouldn't have been able to pass a drug test to get a job down at the supermarket down the street.

  413. [SPEAKER_01]: But Hallelujah today, he's on staff and a spirit-filled church serving the Lord.

  414. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's a banded Mary Jane, Hallelujah.

  415. [SPEAKER_01]: So the goodwill of God is that you be forgiven.

  416. [SPEAKER_01]: The woman that was calling adultery.

  417. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus didn't say, y'all get her, come on guys, give me a stone too, give me that big one there.

  418. [SPEAKER_01]: And if anybody, if anybody there had the right to throw the first stone, Jesus had the right.

  419. [SPEAKER_01]: If anybody could have taken the stone up and said that's it, buddy, darling or whatever name I'm gonna be.

  420. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll ho, whatever, but anyway.

  421. [SPEAKER_01]: We go, we go, we go, we go, I don't know.

  422. [SPEAKER_01]: You've been with so many men, give me a stone for every man you've been with.

  423. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to knock you out if anybody had a right, Jesus had a right.

  424. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what he does?

  425. [SPEAKER_01]: He steps, soups down and starts riding.

  426. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why he was riding.

  427. [SPEAKER_01]: He might have been riding the different names of people that they had been, or the number of times that they had been with her.

  428. [SPEAKER_01]: Always amazed me.

  429. [SPEAKER_01]: Where were you at?

  430. [SPEAKER_01]: How did you find out this information?

  431. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you all following what I'm saying?

  432. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus didn't throw the stone.

  433. [SPEAKER_01]: He said, he who is without sin, let him throw the first stone.

  434. [SPEAKER_01]: Right?

  435. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus forgave the woman.

  436. [SPEAKER_01]: You ever noticed, actually, if you actually do a study of the Gospels, what you'll find is that the scribes and Pharisees and the religious leaders, they didn't get so upset about Jesus healing people.

  437. [SPEAKER_01]: But they got really upset.

  438. [SPEAKER_01]: They were wanting to throw him over the cliff.

  439. [SPEAKER_01]: Whenever he said, sons, your sins be forgiven you.

  440. [SPEAKER_01]: They had an issue because they could not understand the goodness of God and have the God wanted to forgive you.

  441. [SPEAKER_01]: God wanted to draw you near.

  442. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't want your sin to stand in the way of you having relationship with him.

  443. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the reason Jesus came.

  444. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the reason we do all of this.

  445. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the reason we celebrate Christmas.

  446. [SPEAKER_01]: See, we don't put up a Christmas tree to go bow down to it.

  447. [SPEAKER_01]: No, we should have reminded her that it was a day that Jesus came to be the price for the sin of all humanity, man.

  448. [SPEAKER_01]: All the things that we do at Chris, we know sometimes people get so called up and try to find something to monarchy and everything going on.

  449. [SPEAKER_01]: There's demons in the tree.

  450. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's like the squirrel that's in Chris was vacation.

  451. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

  452. [SPEAKER_01]: I cast that squirrel out, I cast that demon out of it.

  453. [SPEAKER_01]: They ain't no demons in no tree.

  454. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care where you go to.

  455. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, follow them on them saying, this is, hmm, I can't, don't have time to go there.

  456. [SPEAKER_01]: your perspective has everything to do with what you see.

  457. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say again, your perspective has everything to do with what you see.

  458. [SPEAKER_01]: People are gonna get upset about a Christmas tree.

  459. [SPEAKER_01]: You go in their house, they got plants everywhere.

  460. [SPEAKER_01]: And they got trees outside.

  461. [SPEAKER_01]: And in fact, they got more trees outside than they do inside.

  462. [SPEAKER_01]: Every time I see Christmas decoration it just reminds me, Lord, I thank you for your goodness.

  463. [SPEAKER_01]: I thank you even though the world was not worthy.

  464. [SPEAKER_01]: The God you loved is so much that you've sent Jesus to pay the price to do what was needed.

  465. [SPEAKER_01]: so that we could be redeemed.

  466. [SPEAKER_01]: So the goodwill of God is that you be forgiven, amen.

  467. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus came to reveal the goodwill of God.

  468. [SPEAKER_01]: See in our quest for holy living, let's remember to love the unholy.

  469. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen?

  470. [SPEAKER_01]: God's goodwill is not just for you to be forgiven, but it's also for the world to be forgiven.

  471. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're not gonna know about it unless you tell them that you know what, God's not to get you, he's for you.

  472. [SPEAKER_01]: He loved,

  473. [SPEAKER_01]: This is what Paul said that the love of God is revealed that even while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

  474. [SPEAKER_01]: For scarcely, for a righteous man was somebody died, but Jesus came to die for us while we were yet sinners.

  475. [SPEAKER_01]: The goodwill of God is that you be healed, amen?

  476. [SPEAKER_01]: The Bible says that Jesus healed all that came to him.

  477. [SPEAKER_01]: The goodwill of God for your life is healing and deliverance.

  478. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus healed and Jesus cast out devils.

  479. [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, when good peoples have bad devils, it makes them bad, but the good news is this that God in His goodness has a way for you to be delivered.

  480. [SPEAKER_01]: God in His goodness has a way for you to be set free.

  481. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, everybody needs to be delivered at some point in time within their life.

  482. [SPEAKER_01]: Healing in deliverance, they are the children's bread.

  483. [SPEAKER_01]: It is the good will of God to you.

  484. [SPEAKER_01]: If you need healing today, hear this.

  485. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to pray as soon as if it is God's will for you to be healed.

  486. [SPEAKER_01]: I will go ahead and tell you, it is God's will for you to be healed.

  487. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus took the stripes upon his back for your healing, amen?

  488. [SPEAKER_01]: And thank God, listen, if it's not the will of God for you to be healed,

  489. [SPEAKER_01]: He might get you out of the will of God.

  490. [SPEAKER_01]: Think about it for a moment.

  491. [SPEAKER_01]: So amazing sometimes people think, well this just must just be the will of God.

  492. [SPEAKER_01]: But they don't try to get yourself out of it.

  493. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't try to get yourself out of the will of God if actually the will of God.

  494. [SPEAKER_01]: If it's the will of God for you to be suffering with sickness than just don't take an aspirin don't take anything because God forbid you get out of the will of God.

  495. [SPEAKER_01]: See how ridiculous that is.

  496. [SPEAKER_01]: That's ridiculous.

  497. [SPEAKER_01]: So we have to understand that God's will is healing.

  498. [SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, I thank God for doctors and nurses and those that are in the medical community.

  499. [SPEAKER_01]: Because here this, they are.

  500. [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, meant for many times, many times, they are the hands of God in your life.

  501. [SPEAKER_01]: They are hands of God's goodness within your life.

  502. [SPEAKER_01]: to get you where you need to be.

  503. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  504. [SPEAKER_01]: I thank God for Dr. Mapp.

  505. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, my dad was, I don't know how time to go into the whole story, but I'm telling you, Dr. Mapp has been a life saver for my father, and has prolonged his life because he got him all straightened out.

  506. [SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah, amen.

  507. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  508. [SPEAKER_01]: Am I right, Daddy?

  509. [SPEAKER_01]: Am I?

  510. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

  511. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay, praise it all.

  512. [SPEAKER_01]: The move on.

  513. [SPEAKER_01]: The goodwill of God is this that you be blessed, that you be prospered.

  514. [SPEAKER_01]: The angel said, peace on earth, they by say peace.

  515. [SPEAKER_01]: Peace on earth and goodwill.

  516. [SPEAKER_01]: The word peace there does it just mean tranquility.

  517. [SPEAKER_01]: but it also means this prosperity and blessing, physical blessing, prosperity and blessing are the goodwill of God.

  518. [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus himself was a giver.

  519. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, why would he be a giver and why would he command us to give if prosperity and blessing were not his will?

  520. [SPEAKER_01]: Does that make sense?

  521. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't make sense.

  522. [SPEAKER_01]: He would tell you to give to other people and bless them if that's not his will.

  523. [SPEAKER_01]: God's will has always been to bless his people.

  524. [SPEAKER_01]: God does not want you poor.

  525. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at somebody says, God wants to make you the head and not the tail.

  526. [SPEAKER_01]: You ever thought about it?

  527. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't say, look, I'm going to be good to you today, and I'm just going to go steal your truck, right?

  528. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to take something away from you.

  529. [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's not goodness.

  530. [SPEAKER_01]: Goodness is whenever you give somebody something that they don't already have, right?

  531. [SPEAKER_01]: Goodness is whenever you bless, I'm going to go get down here for just a moment.

  532. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, whenever you're able to bless foster children and when Christmas gives, that's the goodness of God, are you here in me?

  533. [SPEAKER_01]: The goodness of God is whenever we're able to bless children over a Calaway Elementary that won't have any kind of Christmas whatsoever, but we're going to make sure that they're taking care of, right?

  534. [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, parents, good, the goodness of God is whenever they wake up on Christmas morning, and you instead of being an old screw, do you say, you know what?

  535. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to celebrate the fact that God loved this so much that he came and he gave, we're going to then reciprocate that.

  536. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to demonstrate that same principle in your life.

  537. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not just because it's a tradition.

  538. [SPEAKER_01]: Why is it a tradition, by the way?

  539. [SPEAKER_01]: It's because we are commemorating what Jesus actually did for us.

  540. [SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

  541. [SPEAKER_01]: So the goodwill of God is that you be blessed.

  542. [SPEAKER_01]: He wants you to be blessed.

  543. [SPEAKER_01]: He wants you to be the head.

  544. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want you to be suffering.

  545. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want you to have financial lack and insufficient C. Amen.

  546. [SPEAKER_01]: The goodwill of God is this also.

  547. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to close with this.

  548. [SPEAKER_01]: The goodwill of God is that your family be saved.

  556. [SPEAKER_01]: And I need you to come, and they discourage Jesus from come, but he went and he came.

  557. [SPEAKER_01]: They laughed him to school and whenever he got into the house.

  561. [SPEAKER_01]: I want you to hear this.

  562. [SPEAKER_01]: The reason I don't even say this this morning, because I believe this is the word of Lord that God's gonna show up at your house to raise up your children out of their spiritual sleep.

  563. [SPEAKER_01]: I believe God's gonna show up at your house to raise them out of the spiritual slumber that has been there.

  564. [SPEAKER_01]: The spiritual death that has been there, that this is a season that God's gonna call salvation to come to your household, come to your family,

  566. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care how far off they are.

  567. [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, you can't be any farther off and actually be dead, but Jesus raised them from the dead.

  578. [SPEAKER_01]: I know that Linda was praying for him I know that doc was ready to kill him

  579. [SPEAKER_01]: And I know that there were other family members that were praying for him, listen, God's arm is not too short.

  580. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you hearing me?

  581. [SPEAKER_01]: His hand is not too weak, and he's gonna reach down and bring salvation into your family and into your household.
