  1. Andrew Williams: Um, hey, it is an honour to be here.

  2. Um, I absolutely love Red Door Church.

  3. I have a massive history with Red Door Church, and some of you may know Ash and

  4. I as the Americans, I heard there was a little bit of that kind of the Americans.

  5. That's when we first came over.

  6. About eight years ago, my wife and I came over from the States.

  7. Um, the easiest way is from the Lord.

  8. We had a word from the Lord and we just stepped out in faith.

  9. Um, and it's amazing what God can do when we actually

  10. respond to faith and we respond.

  11. It could have been a complete error, but I think because we thought it was Jesus.

  12. He's like, I'm just gonna help you out, Andrew.

  13. I I, we, we got this thing figured out.

  14. And um, and so anyways, it has been such, such an honour and joy just

  15. to get to know this family, this community, and my wife and I, we now

  16. pastor a community called Prayer House.

  17. We're meeting at Murdoch University right now.

  18. Um, they say it's a little bit of a hard ground within a, a cultural view, but

  19. for some reason God says, I want y'all to lift up the name of Jesus week in and

  20. week out right there on that university.

  21. And it is such a joy and honour to do that.

  22. But it was funny, about two, three weeks ago, I had a guy come and visit

  23. Prayer House for the first time and he's, he went to a thing called mva.

  24. And uh, after that he goes, I really want to go to a church somewhere.

  25. And someone said, oh, you should go to Prayer House.

  26. And they said, but just to warn you, they're pastor's a little crazy.

  27. So he tells me this, he goes, but afterward, he, he goes,

  28. but you're my kind of crazy.

  29. That's what he said.

  30. And so we kind of are known that like, oh man, they, they wave flags over at prayer.

  31. I am known to be a flagger every once in a while, like once in

  32. a blue moon, I'll get that out.

  33. And, um, but y'all might think that we're a little crazy.

  34. But I want to tell you, when I first met Red Door, y'all are a little bit crazy.

  35. Oh, a hundred percent.

  36. So I went down first I get here and I go to a youth camp.

  37. I got invited to speak at, and it was Red Door Church.

  38. And I meet this guy.

  39. That I actually called the Crocodile Dundee of youth pastors that actually,

  40. I didn't think he even owned a shirt.

  41. Like, and that is Cleon Repel and Jody Repel.

  42. And honestly, I'm like, I love this guy.

  43. His heartbeat for the next generation, just so in tune, they're actually

  44. one of our favourite people in the world to holiday with.

  45. Like just such an amazing time.

  46. And then, you know, the journey goes on and I meet two of the craziest guys

  47. that I've ever met, like, just extreme.

  48. And I was talking to 'em like, where do you go to church?

  49. They're like, red Door Church.

  50. And that's Steve Scrimmage and Ahmed, I don't even know if they're

  51. here, but y'all, you are crazy.

  52. And um, it's actually been been a journey where you guys have no idea.

  53. And I don't know if I've been able to really share this, the impact that Red

  54. Door has had on my life and our community, because I actually remember seeing the

  55. camp and seeing the culture and the people and I, I actually was a part of American

  56. Church culture, which can be a machine and it's plug in, plug out or plug out.

  57. It can be about butts in seats, then live transformed and

  58. relationships are very transactional.

  59. As long as I was producing, I was good.

  60. But the moment I had a struggle or had a heartache, and I think we gotta

  61. shift culture and realise we all go through stuff when someone's hurting.

  62. It's not a time just to, to push them away.

  63. It's time to say, how can I help you in this journey?

  64. And so that was the culture I was a part of, but I had a longing for family.

  65. And as I saw you guys and as you gather in men and women and family

  66. camp, I'm like, I want that.

  67. If my visa would've let me, I would've left the church I was

  68. at and came to Red Door Buddy.

  69. No, I follow the Lord.

  70. And um, and so at Prayer House, you know, we have different challenges and

  71. we fix everything with a camp, family camp, men's camp, oh, you're feeling

  72. disconnected, just come to camp.

  73. Um, and you guys really have marked us.

  74. Send that and I the idea of building Kingdom family.

  75. Actually heard this phrase.

  76. When the church looks more like an institution, the gifts begin

  77. to cease in the body of Christ.

  78. But when it actually begins to look like a family, the gifts are an operation.

  79. God is above our denominations.

  80. He's above our expressions of worship.

  81. My greatest desire in my heart is to see a move of the Lord that no man may boast.

  82. We can't boast in our expression of worship.

  83. We can't boast in this or that is just God.

  84. And he is worthy.

  85. And I will humble myself to him.

  86. And I want to just share a little bit tonight, uh, just to give a

  87. little bit of background to me, just to understand my heartbeat.

  88. Um, I was raised in a pretty traditional Christian American family.

  89. Parents were divorced, split up, remarried.

  90. There's drug addiction in our home, and that's kind of, everybody's

  91. a Christian in American culture.

  92. And yes, you have some really amazing people, but we would've been a very

  93. standard or token in that place.

  94. I was, I was ra raised the Baptist, any Baptist in the room?

  95. Uh, come on now.

  96. A deep appreciation for the word of the Lord.

  97. I am a word man.

  98. Like it is one of the most precious gifts that I have.

  99. And this is actually my son's bible that I journey through.

  100. I have a Bible for each one of my kids that I journey through when I'm long gone.

  101. I'll be remembered generations to come.

  102. Have I really?

  103. Some like nice cars.

  104. I like nice bibles.

  105. Come on now.

  106. And um, so I was raised Baptist, but Baptist culture in America is different

  107. from Baptist culture in Australia.

  108. Uh, we grew up in a culture where it was the father, son and Holy Bible.

  109. And uh, it wasn't until I was later on the journey where I began to read

  110. about the Holy Spirit and I was like, I, I've never heard this before.

  111. And it was such a journey for me.

  112. And during a season when my parents were split up, I was Lutheran for a little bit.

  113. We went through a Lutheran church.

  114. All I remember is we drank wine from a big old goblet and everybody passed it around.

  115. That was, uh, the memory from that.

  116. And then, um, I met my wife on our leavers trip in Panama City, Florida.

  117. Not one of my kids will meet their spouse on their leavers trip.

  118. Um, she was an atheist.

  119. I was not a Christian.

  120. And, uh, we actually moved to Florida on business.

  121. Ash got saved on the side of the road, um, by someone that just

  122. began to speak into her life.

  123. Someone that knew the Lord and just complete life transformation.

  124. Do not underestimate the power of your testimony and your witness.

  125. Like we think that woman every day because of what it produced, because again, Ash

  126. went to church and you know what happened?

  127. I ain't got a choice.

  128. I'm coming.

  129. And so I actually went to a vineyard church and uh,

  130. they're my Christian hippies.

  131. And uh, I remember going in and they were like waving flags and I was

  132. like, uh, that's different, you know?

  133. And, uh, but I walked away from that.

  134. These guys really believe in what they're doing.

  135. What there wasn't judging in, in my heart, like this was real.

  136. Like they really, and first time was introduced to vertical worship,

  137. not just horizontal worship, which is singing not just about

  138. God, but actually singing to God.

  139. And that was a moment that just changed my life.

  140. Um, gave my life to Jesus.

  141. I'm still a little bit of a Christian hippie, like that's how

  142. my wife introduced ourselves here.

  143. Hey, we're does Christian hippies and or Nash.

  144. And uh, from that point I began to serve at a Baptist parachurch ministry.

  145. My wife and I.

  146. Then we went to an Pentecostal church for the first time.

  147. And I remember hearing a pastor preach the gospel there.

  148. He's like a spiritual dad to me.

  149. And I just said, man, if I ever preach the gospel, I want to be like that man.

  150. Like what he read, he believed with all of his heart and just transformed

  151. my life and changed my life.

  152. And, uh, from that we went to a charismatic evangelical church in America,

  153. which is, we believe in the gifts, just might not see much of operation

  154. in a charismatic Pentecostal church.

  155. And, um, never really felt like I fit in the box of a denomination.

  156. I do wonder which denomination would Jesus choose.

  157. Like, he's like, I'm definitely Baptist.

  158. I'm not, no, I don't know.

  159. You know, um, you know, he's outside of those spaces.

  160. And so anyways, um, I then I got moved to Australia and I got connected

  161. to the a CC church and so the, the Pentecostal Church of Australia, and it

  162. was actually really interesting to me.

  163. I remember calling my friend, I said, it's kind of different down here.

  164. I said, I don't know, it's 'cause of Southern hemisphere and like

  165. something pulling 'em down.

  166. But when people get prayed for, they're always like, boom,

  167. boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

  168. I'm like, it's just different, you know?

  169. And um, as God began to release us into this place called Prayer

  170. House, there was a journey where I was like, Lord, who are we?

  171. Like what box do we fit in?

  172. And I came knocking on your pastor's door, Adam, will you journey with me?

  173. Your pastor's a friend of mine.

  174. I honour Dale.

  175. I honour Adam because I know if I need something, they'll answer.

  176. He's been with me in highs and he's been with me in lows.

  177. And I'm not standing here today.

  178. Say, wow, we got it all figured out.

  179. 'cause I promise you, we don't, I don't know if anybody does, but

  180. I'm walking in the revelation that God has red door here for a reason.

  181. 'cause there's a people that you're called to reach, and

  182. there's a people that prayer house.

  183. We have an expression, we believe, man, we're called to pray for the city.

  184. We pray for Red Door, we pray for you guys every single week.

  185. Every week we actually meet in your unit two as a staff.

  186. And we pray for Red Door Church.

  187. We pray for the kingdom of God to expand, to reach.

  188. And there's a group that prayer house is called to that you guys can't

  189. reach, that we can and vice versa.

  190. You know, we might be a little, did we need the different

  191. people to come to prayer?

  192. Um, and so I, I just share that really what my heart yawns for.

  193. That we actually worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

  194. When people ask me, who, who are you guys?

  195. We are Spirit and truth Church.

  196. Like that's just who we are.

  197. We have a deep honour and reverence for the word of the Lord, and we have a deep

  198. honour for the movement of his spirit.

  199. We don't want to grieve the Holy Spirit.

  200. Do we do everything perfect?

  201. No, we don't.

  202. But really what matters to us is the position of the heart.

  203. You see, we might look different in expression, but just as Luke shared, which

  204. is an amazing man, how are we united?

  205. It's united at heart.

  206. And I felt led to share this as I was praying tonight.

  207. And a lot of the time I preach, I, I'm very seldom I just preaching.

  208. I just come before the little, what do you want to do?

  209. And just write down what he's doing.

  210. And many times I feel like I'm preaching beyond the atmosphere

  211. of the room into the region.

  212. And so I was newly saved.

  213. I moved back to my hometown and I was in a gym and my pastor

  214. from my childhood came up to me.

  215. And at that time I was serving at my uncle's church.

  216. And it was this really, really, really small Pentecostal church.

  217. And I actually wished, um, my wife and I interned two years there.

  218. And, uh, every single kid in that youth ministry was in a trailer park, like

  219. a really broken, broken community.

  220. I wish every single youth pastor could start their experience in there.

  221. There's no fame, there's no glory just given everything

  222. you have for those, those kids.

  223. And so I'm in the gym, um, just ha you know, working

  224. out, you know what I'm saying?

  225. Um, sorry.

  226. And so, um, and he comes up to me and he says this, he said, Andrew,

  227. do you know the difference between your old people in my old people?

  228. He said, my old people, they're burned out.

  229. They're tired.

  230. They've been doing religion for a long time, but your old

  231. people, they're still dreaming.

  232. They're still hoping, they're still believing.

  233. And that just marked me as a young boy because I want to be like David

  234. when the hair on my head is grey, that my desire is to see the power of God

  235. released into the next generation.

  236. Now it's interesting 'cause he was speaking about even a

  237. little bit of denominationalism.

  238. I'm not speaking about that today.

  239. I'm speaking of heart.

  240. 'cause I've seen people that say, wow, we're this and in the spirit, but

  241. actually proud hardhearted religious.

  242. It is about the heart posture that we have tonight as we come together.

  243. So let me pray and I'll open up the word of the Lord together.

  244. So Father, we just come to you.

  245. We love you, Jesus, with all of our heart.

  246. Father, I humble myself tonight, Lord, if you do not speak, I have nothing to say.

  247. Lord, we honour your word that is living alive and active.

  248. And Father, whatever you want to speak tonight, let it hit its mark in power,

  249. that our lives be changed, our hearts be transformed, becoming more like you.

  250. Jesus.

  251. So Jesus, we honour you tonight in Jesus' holy name.

  252. Amen.

  253. Amen.

  254. You know, it's interesting being in the, the church world,

  255. being a born again believer.

  256. You hear it many times.

  257. You're like, you know, my life was really easy then I became a Christian.

  258. And then all the challenges, you know, and you've heard it said the

  259. enemy's okay, you know, with you just kind of living in your sin.

  260. Uh, but, but the moment you give your life to Jesus, all of a sudden you're a

  261. target and there's something on your back.

  262. And so I think sometimes we don't have these discussions, so when life gets

  263. challenging, we don't know what to do.

  264. I would compare it to, I heard this Stati statistic, uh, here a little

  265. bit ago, that the average kid by the age of seven will have 50 colds.

  266. Like the average kid will be sick 50 times by the age of seven and it's a process

  267. for them to develop their immunity.

  268. So now I wish someone would've told me that because I had four kids that's like

  269. 200 times and all of a sudden it's just like the enemy is attacking me every

  270. single month or every week he got a fever.

  271. Again, it's just like, what are we doing wrong?

  272. Everything's kind of bombarding in rather than, no, this is

  273. sometimes a part of the process.

  274. Now I do not accept sickness, especially when it comes to cancer disease.

  275. I come against that in Jesus holy name that is not my father.

  276. That is 100% of the enemy.

  277. And I will stand till I have breath in my lungs against that.

  278. So I'm not saying, hey, sickness, but a part of a child is

  279. growing up in their immunity.

  280. So now when we give our lives to Jesus, for us to think

  281. like, oh man, I'm under attack.

  282. Things are hard.

  283. What am I doing wrong?

  284. Like, we actually need to go, oh, this stuff is going to happen.

  285. But what matters is my heart and what I do about it when

  286. the attack of the enemy comes.

  287. So two nights ago I'm at daddy daughter camp, which I have a goal

  288. to get as many dads, um, to that.

  289. Uh, Josh is a good friend of mine.

  290. He's been going for years and we had I think seven dads from prayer house at at

  291. daddy daughter camp and father son camp.

  292. I will say me and Rose got first place in the adventure race this year.

  293. I trained hard for her.

  294. I've been injured.

  295. She's like, dad, are you gonna be able to do it?

  296. But having connect of heart.

  297. But it was interesting that night I went to bed, um, and it was 12 o'clock and at

  298. 12:00 AM all of a sudden there was just this, I woke up and I felt this attack and

  299. it was very oppressive and it was, Andrew, you're not doing good enough, Andrew.

  300. Um, you're not following through Andrew.

  301. People don't know where you're going.

  302. You are confusing them.

  303. You always start stuff but you never finish stuff.

  304. It was just nonstop.

  305. Kept on going for almost two hours.

  306. And I was kind of in that phase a little bit and I came to the point to realise,

  307. I know this is an attack from the enemy.

  308. Like it wasn't just me.

  309. It wasn't just hard.

  310. I know this is an attack from the enemy and it went on for about two more hours

  311. and I just could not get it to stop.

  312. Now there's something unique about me.

  313. There's many times I don't know if it's a blessing or I don't even wanna say

  314. curse 'cause I don't, but God will let me feel what people are journeying through.

  315. Who let me feel a level of oppression that I can walk in compassion.

  316. See Jesus, he looked upon the people that sheep without a shepherd and

  317. he had what compassion upon them.

  318. And there's this feeling that I had this heavyweight that felt

  319. so hopeless that came upon me.

  320. So I want, you know, a little bit of my heart.

  321. I have a, just a desire to release what I have.

  322. It can.

  323. If it help my brothers and sisters to walk in unity under him saying, Hey, life's

  324. gonna happen, attack's gonna happen.

  325. What do we do about it?

  326. You with me tonight?

  327. If you have your Bibles, if you can open them to Psalm 27.

  328. Now, this is an interesting moment in the Book of Psalms.

  329. This is, theologians have had arguments about this.

  330. It doesn't clarify, but you can tell that this was a really hard moment for David.

  331. Actually, many people believed this could have been, um, the moment with Absalom,

  332. that, that betrayed his father and tried to become King, stood at the gate.

  333. And so for me, I've gone through quite a bit in life.

  334. I mentioned my father, uh, battled through addiction.

  335. Um, and there was a lot of trauma, a lot of pain growing up.

  336. But that compared to nothing, until my own son went through a challenge.

  337. My wife and I actually adopt.

  338. We have four biological kids and we actually adopted her brother and sister.

  339. They were a DHD bipolar, obsessive compulsive on meth at 14 and 12 years old.

  340. Uh, couldn't read, couldn't write.

  341. Um, we were one year saved.

  342. No, we were two years saved, one year married.

  343. And that was the welcome to being parents.

  344. And so we gave our lives to them, raising them.

  345. And we had a moment when Joseph graduated high school, he actually went

  346. back to the slop that he came from.

  347. And within a short period of time was, um, on heroin, again, an injection.

  348. And it was, I would say the pain that I went through was nothing

  349. in comparison to seeing my son,

  350. seeing my son go through something that I, if I could have stood in the gap, if

  351. I could have done anything, I would've.

  352. So I can't imagine David in this moment.

  353. He went through stuff with Saul, but I think he can handle that.

  354. But his own boy, his own son, just the challenge and the paint.

  355. So this is David's response when the enemy was caving in.

  356. And I believe God is calling us to be a united church.

  357. I believe God is calling us to be a, um, bold church, A confident church, a

  358. church that does not walk in the fear of man, but walks in the fear of the Lord.

  359. So Psalm 27, the Lord is my light in my salvation.

  360. Whom shall I fear?

  361. The Lord is the stronghold of my life.

  362. Of whom shall I be afraid?

  363. When evil doers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes,

  364. it is they who stumble and fall though an army and camp against me.

  365. In my heart, it shall not fear the war rises against me, yet I will be confident.

  366. One thing that I've asked of the Lord that I will seek after that I may dwell

  367. in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to gaze upon the beauty of

  368. the Lord and to inquire in his temple, for he will hide me in his shelter.

  369. In the day of trouble, he will conceal me under the cover of his tent and

  370. he will lift me high upon a rock.

  371. And now my head shall be lifted above my enemies all around me, and

  372. I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy, and I will

  373. sing and make melody to the Lord.

  374. Hear, oh Lord, when I cry aloud be gracious to me.

  375. You have said, seek my face.

  376. And my heart says to you, God, your face, Lord, do I seek

  377. hide, not your face from me.

  378. Turn not your servant away in anger.

  379. Oh, you have been my help.

  380. Cast me, not off forsake me.

  381. Not oh God of my salvation for my father and my mother have forsaken

  382. me, but the Lord, he will take me in.

  383. Teach me your ways, oh Lord.

  384. And lead me on a level path because of my enemies.

  385. Give me not up to the will of my adversaries.

  386. For false witnesses have risen against me and they have breathed out violence.

  387. I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord

  388. in the land of the living.

  389. Wait for the Lord.

  390. Be strong and let your heart take courage.

  391. Wait for the Lord.

  392. Amen.

  393. That the word of the Lord do the ministry tonight.

  394. So one of my hearts has been ever since I was in the States, Lord, I

  395. want to see the spirit of the Lord move in whatever context I'm in.

  396. I don't care if I'm in a school, I don't care if I'm in a petrol station.

  397. I don't care what denominational church and I will honour.

  398. I think there's so many things that we need to be united and the

  399. the other stuff is just extra.

  400. But God can move in any situation, any circumstance, spirit of Lord move.

  401. But in that place, we have to be people that know how to taste

  402. and see that the Lord is good.

  403. We actually have to be people where this word is real.

  404. This word is alive, that we fill ourselves, young people.

  405. The best thing in the world you can do is fill yourself with the word of the

  406. Lord to encounter the word of the Lord.

  407. This is not a book just to be read.

  408. It's a book to be encountered and to bring transformation into your life.

  409. I am in the word every single day and he says this phrase, David, when all hell

  410. is breaking loose, when his moment of his child potentially being, um, just

  411. coming against him, he says this phrase, the Lord is my light and my salvation.

  412. Whom shall I fear?

  413. As, as a pastor, I want you to know it can be kind of scary as a dad.

  414. It can be kind of scary as a business leader.

  415. It could be kind of scary, I think if we were really honest with

  416. ourselves to go, how are you doing?

  417. Do you feel like you're failing?

  418. Do you feel like you're succeeding?

  419. And I want you to know in these places when the enemy comes against

  420. God, just being the light, God, just being salvation is not enough.

  421. Because if he is not your light, if he is not your salvation, you will

  422. walk in a fear of man in a fear of everything the enemy can do.

  423. You will not walk in a fear of the Lord.

  424. Is he your light in your salvation?

  425. Guys, when I read the word the Lord, I actually ask myself these questions.

  426. There's almost not a morning that goes by that I do not humble myself in a place

  427. of repentance because God, I actually haven't seen a lot of light lately.

  428. I've been stressed out.

  429. My kids are driving me crazy.

  430. No.

  431. Like, you know, just stuff going on and it's like, wow, this light is pretty dim.

  432. Yes, you are the light, but God, I have not been in a place where I'm

  433. letting you be the light of my life.

  434. Like, are we letting other things light us up?

  435. I went through a season, I was a pretty fitness sky and you know, did

  436. play college uni or uni football and grid iron, uh, you know, triathlon,

  437. triathlete, all this kind of stuff.

  438. And all of a sudden I went through his surgery and for almost four years, I

  439. could not lift more than five pounds.

  440. So all of a sudden, some of my identity, or man, I'm stressed, I go for a run, man.

  441. My wives driving me crazy.

  442. I'm gonna punch a punching bag.

  443. She punches me.

  444. I punch a punching bag.

  445. No, I didn't have that.

  446. So all of a sudden, there's nothing else that I have that

  447. can light up my world except you.

  448. Jesus.

  449. I wanna say your worst season become your best season when

  450. everything gets taken away.

  451. I don't know if I just needed that because I'm stubborn in my head, but everything

  452. being taken away where I found the true light, he became my stress relief.

  453. He became the place when things were dark.

  454. I could come to him.

  455. I couldn't run it off.

  456. I couldn't just work harder.

  457. I couldn't just strive harder.

  458. I had to come to him.

  459. And I ask you tonight, is he your light?

  460. Is he your salvation?

  461. Why do what began in the spirit?

  462. Why do we try to perfect in the flesh?

  463. Why?

  464. I believe we need true gospel preaching in our churches.

  465. And I know Red Door is a gospel centric church, but a lot of cultures I've been

  466. a part of, you don't hear the word sin.

  467. You don't hear the words of what Jesus paid the price for.

  468. So we don't have a lot of people witnessing 'cause we don't even know

  469. what we've been saved from ourself.

  470. And we need to understand the good news in the gospel of Jesus Christ,

  471. that he died for us, that you cannot save yourself, but your sin.

  472. There was a wrath that was going to fall upon that sin and the

  473. wrath of God will fall upon sin or it will fall upon his son.

  474. There's only two options in that space.

  475. We need to understand the revelation of Jesus, my salvation.

  476. Have you encountered yet again the salvation of Jesus Christ where

  477. springs of living water begin to rise up and it goes on to say the Lord,

  478. he is the stronghold of my life.

  479. Of whom shall I be afraid?

  480. A stronghold is a place of defence, a stronghold that actually means

  481. when the enemy is attacking you, go to the role that has high walls.

  482. It's a place that's hard for the enemy to penetrate.

  483. Where do you go when life gets crazy?

  484. Where do you go when that voice starts speaking to you?

  485. Where do you go when they just challenge or doctors reports are coming your way?

  486. Do respond in panic.

  487. Do you respond in anxiety?

  488. Is that your stronghold?

  489. Thank you.

  490. Love you, Malachi.

  491. Know, in Jesus' name, out of the mouth of babes, they begin to speak.

  492. I, I'm not preaching at you and I'm not trying to give an eloquent sermon.

  493. What is the stronghold of your life?

  494. Is it in your mind?

  495. Is it in your thoughts?

  496. Is it in your team?

  497. Is it in your spouse?

  498. Like my wife cannot be the stronghold of my life.

  499. I cannot be the stronghold of my kids life.

  500. I will let 'em down, but my father safest place in the world.

  501. This last week, as I was reflecting on my heart, I had a stressful

  502. moment come my way and just man, that oppressive type thing.

  503. And all of a sudden I was going into anxiety.

  504. I was going into panic.

  505. I gotta figure this out.

  506. I'm frustrated.

  507. Kids come in, get out of the room.

  508. Okay dad, you know, you know, just, you know, if you ever come

  509. home and you're just stressed out and it's like, everyone's like, oh

  510. gosh, lemme get away from this guy.

  511. That's Ashley all the time.

  512. No, uh,

  513. and so, so it's this place of like, and I came to actually Red Door Church.

  514. We had a prayer meeting here.

  515. We took communion.

  516. And the Lord began to say, Andrew, today I was not your stronghold,

  517. your stress, your anxiety.

  518. And I felt led.

  519. I gotta confess this, and I wanna call it for what it is.

  520. It is sin.

  521. And I told the men, and I humbled myself before them.

  522. And I just wanted to proclaim guys.

  523. I don't want the enemy to have leverage in my life.

  524. I will humble myself before the Lord and before men.

  525. The Lord is the stronghold of my life.

  526. The word became flesh.

  527. Is it alive and active in you today?

  528. I want you to know the word of the Lord can be the most exciting thing in

  529. your day if you open your heart to him.

  530. If you let the word of the Lord read you.

  531. The worship team can come forward tonight.

  532. I told Luke during worship, I said, Luke, you're gonna have to go up

  533. there 'cause these guys won't stop.

  534. They will just keep I, I'm not joking.

  535. They will just keep going and going and going.

  536. Verse four.

  537. It says one thing I've asked of the Lord that I will seek after that I may dwell

  538. in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to gaze upon the beauty of

  539. the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

  540. There might be many things that church can be divided over, but let us be

  541. united on the one thing that we dwell, that we gaze upon the beauty of the

  542. Lord, and we inquire in his temple that we be united on that front.

  543. How we go about that?

  544. I don't care.

  545. It's interesting, this idea of dwelling, this idea of dwelling with the Lord

  546. when Jesus says, go and baptise in them.

  547. In the name of the Father, the name of the Son, in the name of the Holy

  548. Spirit, that I may dwell my father dwelling with my dad, my heavenly

  549. Father, Abba, that I may dwell with you, that my identity is in you, Lord,

  550. that you are the stronghold of my life.

  551. That I may gaze upon the beauty of the Lord baptised in the name of Jesus.

  552. It's in two Corinthians.

  553. It says, and we with unveiled faces beholding the glory of the Lord are

  554. being transformed in the same image from one degree of glory to another.

  555. For this comes from the Lord who is the spirit.

  556. This idea of gazing upon the Lord, becoming more like Jesus.

  557. What we gaze upon our lies will be transformed into.

  558. I'm not gazing upon my problems.

  559. I'm gazing upon you, Jesus.

  560. It's the process of sanctification that I will be united in the baptism of

  561. the Father and I will be united in the baptism of Jesus, becoming like you.

  562. Jesus, I gaze upon you.

  563. I gaze upon your word.

  564. I let it penetrate my heart, and you are the one that transforms and that we

  565. be people where we inquire of the Lord,

  566. that we are led by the spirit.

  567. I'm not so impressed with myself.

  568. I'm not so impressed with what I can build and what I can tell you.

  569. I'm actually not that confident of a person in my own abilities,

  570. but when the Lord speaks, I am.

  571. I am confident in him and what he's doing in his voice.

  572. I just wanna say over this room, there's some people that have

  573. utilised the Lord says as a weapon,

  574. and I wanna apologise for that.

  575. I did not represent my father.

  576. Baptise in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, and in

  577. the name of the Holy Spirit.

  578. That we be people that worship you in spirit and in truth,

  579. in spirit and in truth.

  580. So Holy Spirit, do what you love to do.

  581. Come and convict your sons and daughters of sin of righteousness.

  582. We declare judgement over the enemy.

  583. It's one thing we ask, Lord,

  584. that we seek you.

  585. Your word says, seek my face, and my heart says to you, your face.

  586. Lord, do I seek your face?

  587. Lord, do I seek?

  588. Thank you Lord.

  589. I just want to do something just prophetically.

  590. I just had an image Tonight as we close, which I know Adam, I don't

  591. think he's, is he here by chance?

  592. He's out being unified in the body of Christ.

  593. I love it.

  594. I just had an image of us on our knees together.

  595. Hey enemy.

  596. You know where you could find us?

  597. In the stronghold of my father on our knees locked together.

  598. So I actually saw Adam and Dale, so you're gonna have to represent both.

  599. Dale, would you mind coming with me?

  600. Ashley, you mind joining me?

  601. Do you have anybody that you want to stand in for?

  602. Adam?

  603. I'm joking.

  604. That'd be weird.

  605. Oh, Lou, come on.

  606. Hey, I just want to invite you as a community that we

  607. actually take a humble posture.

  608. I believe there's things that we do need to be united in.

  609. It's united in this place of the the father, the son, holy Spirit.

  610. But we need to be united in humility and united in the fear of the Lord.

  611. And so this posture of us humbling ourselves before the Lord, saying,

  612. Lord, you are our strong tower.

  613. You are our stronghold here.

  614. And if you need to deal with some stuff in the place of repentance in your own heart,

  615. maybe you've been distant, maybe you haven't been seeking the face of the Lord.

  616. Maybe you've been in a place of fear.

  617. Maybe he hasn't been your light.

  618. Maybe he hasn't been your salvation and you want to deal with some stuff with

  619. the Lord, I invite you into this space and I want to tell you, you might be

  620. one knee away from an encounter that can bring transformation into your life.

  621. He moves on the humble heart.

  622. He actually says in Psalms 34 that he is near the broken in the contrite spirit.

  623. So I have made my decision to humble myself before the Lord.

  624. You are the stronghold of my life.

  625. So can we just unite together and I invite you, maybe unite with

  626. somebody to humble yourself together?

  627. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

  628. Thank you, Lord.

  629. Thank you father.

  630. Father, we love you.

  631. Lord, if you're looking for people that will humble themselves before

  632. you, 'cause your word says you oppose the proud, but you give grace to the

  633. humble, will you find us tonight?

  634. My Father, my king Jesus, your holy.

  635. There is none like you.

  636. We declare tonight that you are our light and you are our salvation.

  637. Lord, we repent for everything else that we have put in your place.

  638. We repent for trying to save ourselves through tradition or other ways or

  639. through our own self-righteousness.

  640. We, we just say no in Jesus' name.

  641. May we be people that call out for mercy of God, that we know the mercy of the

  642. Lord, that we can release the mercy of God, that we know the grace of God,

  643. that we can release the grace of God.

  644. Lord, we repent for every single area that we've allowed a stronghold that

  645. comes against the knowledge of the Lord.

  646. We say, no more, father, you are our strong tower.

  647. You are our stronghold.

  648. We come to you.

  649. So Father, we thank you that you fight our battles for us and we stand in this place.

  650. We kneel in this place tonight saying, God, we will seek you.

  651. We will seek your face that we will dwell with you.

  652. You in us being united with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and

  653. Lord, we know that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land

  654. of the living, the goodness of the Lord and the land of of the living.

  655. So Father, we repent for having the fear of man and not walking

  656. in the fear of the Lord.

  657. Lord, we repent.

  658. Father, when, when fear has come and when we have been afraid,

  659. Jesus, we come to you tonight.

  660. Holy Spirit, have your way.

  661. Holy Spirit, have your way tender hearts before you.

  662. You are near the broken hearted Lord, in my best day, let my

  663. heart be broken before you

  664. in my highest place.

  665. Let my heart be tender before you.

  666. Jesus.

  667. When the hair on my head is grey, let me be a person that seeks your face.

  668. Oh God, we love you, Jesus and Jesus.

  669. Holy name.

  670. We say amen.

  671. Amen.

  672. Thank you Lord.

  673. Just as we close tonight, we just have one little song.

  674. We just, my wife leaned over.

  675. Can I ask something Please?

  676. Yeah.

  677. Dale Meredith: I just had this on my heart, um, since worship and you

  678. actually mentioned it in your message.

  679. I really felt prompted to ask if you would pray for, um, so our, our youth

  680. pastors here, Carrie and Cal, um, Cal's mum is, um, battling cancer.

  681. It's not looking good at the moment, like if God does not show up.

  682. Um, and I just outta my heart to ask if you would pray, you're a praying church.

  683. It's in the name.

  684. Um, and then you mentioned just your posture, particularly towards cancer.

  685. And so that was kind of a bit of a confirmation.

  686. So if you would pray, her name is Beth and uh, yeah, that would be beautiful.

  687. Okay.

  688. Thank

  689. you.

  690. Andrew Williams: Yeah, we'd be honoured.

  691. Thank you father.

  692. Thank you Lord.

  693. Yeah.

  694. Yeah, we could do that.

  695. Thank you, father.

  696. I'll Erie, if you could kick us off and I'll, I'll come behind you 'cause

  697. I wanna honour what Dale shared.

  698. But we do wanna stand united together.

  699. Even if you just grab a hand with someone.

  700. We're uniting our faith together.

  701. We're praying.

  702. Thank you, father.

  703. We stand against the enemy right now.

  704. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

  705. Your word says that is the enemy that will stumble and fall.

  706. Thank you Lord Jesus.

  707. So we pray for be tonight.

  708. Iri Mukwekwezeke: Thank you, father, that right now there's a call

  709. upon us to be believing believers to actually believe who you are.

  710. That you are Jehovah Rafa, to actually believe that through

  711. your blood we've been saved.

  712. To actually believe that in you there is life.

  713. And Jesus, I thank you that you said the enemy comes to kill still and destroy.

  714. But Jesus, you have come to give us abundant life.

  715. So right now, I speak against the spirit of death and decay in her body right now.

  716. Yeah.

  717. And I thank you, Jesus, that you are the carrier of life.

  718. You carry the breath of life.

  719. And right now, as we stand together as brothers and sisters around our

  720. sister, we thank you Jesus, that right now you breathe life into his cells.

  721. That right now everything that carries a, a record of death and decay.

  722. Jesus, as you speak, your word of healing through us right now, healing, come

  723. now in the name of Jesus that healing is flowing in every part of her body.

  724. That the record of God, that which you have spoken over her before the foundation

  725. of time when you spoke life over her father, I thank you that right now the

  726. script has been written and it says, life, life, life and life more abundance.

  727. So right now, we send a word of healing over her that every voice that has spoken

  728. a curse of death is revoked, revoked, revoked, revoked in the name of Jesus,

  729. every script that has been released over the, over her life by the doctors.

  730. And they have declared this record of death.

  731. Father, we speak life right now as we stand in the heavenly

  732. places that our God is powerful.

  733. Our God is a healer.

  734. He is Jehovah Rafa.

  735. And which we, we want to be believing believers tonight to say, father, that

  736. you are the one who gives life, that your word carries power and it carries life.

  737. So we release your word of healing right now in the mighty name of Jesus.

  738. And the blood of Jesus has already been released over her life.

  739. And we declare that by your stripes, she has been healed,

  740. not will be, but she has been.

  741. So Father, we thank you that you are a miracle worker.

  742. Even Father, when we hear a report, we don't look at the report, but

  743. we look at the one who sits on the throne and the one who carries life.

  744. We look upon the eyes of the one who is love, the one who is the

  745. lion of Judah, who's fiercely right now speaking life over her.

  746. So Father, we thank you Lord for the report that we are going to hear

  747. over how you have miraculously come in the last hour and you have spoken

  748. life over her body, over every cell.

  749. Every cancer cell dies in the name of Jesus.

  750. And we thank you that you are our stronghold of life in Jesus' name.

  751. Andrew Williams: Thank you, father.

  752. So we just declare the words of my Jesus go in Jesus name.

  753. So we speak to cancer, go be gone.

  754. In Jesus name, spirit of death, let hold of your grip.

  755. Go.

  756. In Jesus name, we speak life by the power, by the blood, by the name

  757. that is above every single name.

  758. Jesus Christ, Lord, over all.

  759. And we do this from the stronghold tonight of my Father, in Jesus, holy name.

  760. Amen.

  761. Amen.

  762. Amen.

  763. Amen.

  764. Red door.

  765. I love y'all.

  766. I really do.

  767. You guys really are family.

  768. And here's the thing about family, you don't get to choose it.

  769. Hey, we could be known as your crazy cousins over at Murdoch University, but we

  770. do want to finish with something a little crazy just for the sake of being crazy.

  771. I'm joking.

  772. Uh, no.

  773. This is actually something that my wife just felt in her heart.

  774. And I wanna align our faith to that in this idea that we say,

  775. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

  776. That there is a river of life that is flowing out of me.

  777. And I loved in this psalm, when it says, when the enemy comes around,

  778. I will go to the fa to my father's tent and I will sing shouts of joy.

  779. And I don't know what a shout of joy looks like.

  780. I don't know if it's like a yes or if it's a wee or a yippee.

  781. I, okay.

  782. I don't know what that shout of joy looks like, but I just feel,

  783. let's give a shout of joy tonight.

  784. Let's come together to sing a melody.

  785. And we got an old song called I Got a River of Life Flowing Outta Me.

  786. You guys all right with that tonight?

  787. If you could stand your feet.

  788. Alright.

  789. If you wanna grab a banner you can.

  790. Oh no.

  791. But we're go worship the Lord tonight.

  792. All we're just gonna give it to him, that I just believe God actually

  793. as we are praying for red door over this region, we just felt God wants

  794. to release joy to our communities.

  795. You guys with me?

  796. That alright, here we go.
