I wanna just celebrate that I was the first person.

Second place is an advancement.

I just want to watch today at the first scene of some point.

Thank you for your water.

Thank you for the chance.

Thank you for making the difference in every life.

It's your first spirit.

Your mind.

Fresher heart.

Fresher spirits.

It's an image of your heart.

It's a frequency of your message.

Uplift and so forth.

It's the call that you've into the destination that you've determined for each of the for us.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Are you ready for the word today?

Man, the word is a good word.

Today we're talking about everyday saints.

We're continuing with uh this series, how God takes ordinary people.

Raise your hand if you're ordinary.

Yes, the ordinary among us.

There's many ordinary, everyday individuals, eating, breathing, sleeping, living, working individuals.

And God's God takes your life and He makes it extraordinary.

Extraordinary.

With when you place your hand in the hands of the master potter, he makes an amazing, amazing.

How many of you ever made uh pottery when you were a child?

And how many of you kept that?

Your parents kept it.

It's like, it's another pencil dish or it's another ashtray.

No one smokes, it's just like a bowl that got flattened and it sits in your drawer.

We have like a whole cupboard full of these pieces of pottery from our kids.

They were, they're beautiful.

But yes, Natalie, I love them too.

But they are, they sit there.

I don't think we've ever pulled them out.

When yes, we have?

Okay.

Everyday saints, except for Natalie.

She is the saint in this place.

I live with this saint.

It's an amazing, amazing destination for me.

She, we do have a number of pieces of pottery from the kids, and they are beautiful because our kids are here today, too.

And we do value them much.

Honor those pieces of pottery.

But uh, you know what, it's not master potters.

They're not like, but when the master gets his hands on a piece of clay, it's amazing what it can become.

And we're gonna continue this series today on uh looking at a man named Timothy.

Would you say Timothy?

Timothy.

He's a young, seemingly ordinary uh believer with an ordinary upbringing.

And I'm gonna talk about that a little bit here, who made an extraordinary impact for a young person.

And Timothy's story is gonna be a huge reminder to any of us and all of us.

The age, that our background, that our small beginnings do not limit God.

Where you've come from will not determine where you're going to go.

God can move you and will move you.

It doesn't matter about your title or your parents or your style or your your history or your followers or your network.

God can take any ordinary individual and move them into a place of extraordinary impact.

And Timothy was likely in his 20s, likely in his 30s.

He was young by the cultural standards, and yet God chose him to make uh an incredible impact.

We will read about him in Acts chapter 16, verses 1 to 3, and listen to what's said about Timothy.

Acts 16:1–3

This is Paul writing uh to an individual, finding an individual who is going to be able to pastor one of the largest churches in all of Asia.

Timothy.

Paul comes to Derby and then to Lystra, where a disciple named Timothy lived, whose mother was Jewish and a believer, but whose father was a Greek.

The believers of Lystra and Iconium spoke well of him.

Paul wanted to take him along on this journey, so he circumcised him because of the Jews who lived in that area, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

As the son of a Jewish mother, and having a Greek father, it put Timothy at an immediate disadvantage, massive disadvantage.

The fact that his mom was a believer, his dad was not a believer, the fact that he wasn't circumcised, which I think is such a funny thing to say when you've got like a pile of young people in here.

I can't say it with a straight face.

But when he's older and he's uncircumcised, this is a problem for the Jewish culture.

And Paul's looking for his guy, and he finds him in a backwater town, Lystra, a man who doesn't have a dad who's supportive, a mother, a grandmother, uncircumcised, all the things are going against Timothy.

He's young, not experienced, not entitled.

He doesn't have it all together, but God begins to use him.

He's not much different than a lot of people in today's history.

Now you might say, well, that's not even ordinary.

The fact is that Paul, or that Timothy's experience is actually ordinary in terms of our culture.

I looked up statistics uh this week in preparation for this message, and in Canada, it said between 38 to 40 percent of kids grow up in a divorced home.

The divorce rate in Canada is high.

So when you're looking for people by cultural standards, you're not looking for perfect people.

And Paul was examining Timothy's life and saying, God it does not need to use a perfect person who comes from a perfect family.

I hesitate getting people to raise their hand, but I'm telling you, none of our families were perfect.

And I can guarantee statistically that 50% or uh or somewhat close, even in this room, have come from difficult, complicated homes.

And that doesn't disqualify you for being used by God.

But the fact is, and even one of the uh also other statistics I saw was that 17% of uh families are from single parent families, and out of the 17%, eight out of ten of them are being led by strong single moms.

And I just want to celebrate the moms today that raised their families and raise their families well.

Where culture dismisses and culture disqualifies and culture disregards an individual.

Timothy, in fact, uh Paul actually took Timothy under his wing and allowed him to follow him and become his disciple, an apostle of the faith, takes a half Jew, half Greek, complicated background individual, and he's in the first conversation you know with Timothy is we gotta take you into the bush and we gotta get you circumcised.

And I think, wow, there's job requirements and then there's job requirements, right?

And it's like we're we've got this rock and we've got I don't know what we're gonna do.

I don't even, I don't even imagine.

The problem is I can't imagine, and that's the problem.

But he calls him, he says, you know what, the Greeks don't care, but the Jews are gonna care, so we gotta get this done.

And he's older in life, and it's a complicated process, and sometimes people think, well, the process has got to be easy for God to be in it, it's gotta be just a straightforward path.

I'll tell you, the first thing I would have questioned was Paul, God, is that really you?

Like, if it's not you, you better let me know right now, like today.

But Paul calls Timothy my true son of the faith.

He honors him, he lifts him up, and this ordinary man, raised in a small town by a godly mom and grandma, goes on to pastor the most influential church in all of Asia in Ephesus.

All roads lead to Ephesus, and Timothy leads this massive church in a metropolis, and he's from a little town.

Timothy's story reminds us that God sees the humble, God sees ordinary people.

1 Corinthians 1 27 says this for Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

God uses weak vessels that he fashions into extraordinary tools.

So let's begin here.

Number one, Paul tells Timothy, you have to start.

When you say start, he says you need to start.

And the reminder here is don't ever disregard or despise small beginnings.

Don't disregard, you know what?

You can be 15, 20 years old, and and and be starting small, but everybody starts small.

Every journey, every marathon begins with one step.

And it's not about the the steps that you have ahead of you, it's about taking the one that you can take.

So the first thing Paul tells Timothy is youth is not a limitation.

Youth should not limit you, and let no one despise you of your youth.

1 Timothy 4 12, don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example, overcome their looking down on you, their disregard by being the example in your speech.

Watch how you talk, in your conduct, in your love, in your faith, in your purity, be the example.

And that example will speak to the life of your uh journey.

So start and implies here, Paul's implying, Timothy, you've got people in your life who are looking down on you.

I I don't know if this is new to just our culture, but I feel like older people have always looked down at younger people.

And it's always been that where we where people look down and they say, Well, I've got more history, I've got more education, I've got more background, I've got more experience.

And the reality is we're not supposed to look down on people because they are young.

Don't despise youth.

Don't let anyone despise you because of your youth.

Paul's commenting to Timothy that he needs to be assertive, he needs to uh not be a person full of pride, but he's supposed to set the example and begin now.

Start.

Start by setting an example.

And uh it's just a huge reminder to me that uh we don't follow people who've got just titles, that true leadership isn't based upon uh academics or education or appeal or look or fame, but but leadership ought to be based on integrity.

We need to see their example, we need to follow their example in the fact that Timothy, his character would validate his calling, and that would be his point of credibility and influence, and that would become his authority that you can look in my life and I you can see my example, and my example will speak loud.

In the Old Testament, there was a similar parallel.

People are building the temple of God, and they're rebuilding, and in Zechariah, uh he's a prophet, he's he's telling the people who are building the temple because they're getting frustrated with the process because it seems like such a small process.

And Zechariah is a prophet speaks on behalf of God and he says, Who dares?

God is saying, Who dares despise the day of small things?

Who dares?

Despise the day of small things, don't you dare despise the day of a small thing where you took the first step, you made your first investment, you started with your dream, you had an idea.

Don't you dare despise that small beginning.

I'm gonna work out, I'm just gonna get on the bike, I'm just gonna get my pass at the gym, I'm just going to take a walk.

I'm just don't despise that.

Celebrate it, culture it in yourself that you're saying, yes, I started.

The start is the most difficult and most important piece.

Start, start, don't let others despise your small beginning.

And the same way God spoke to the people, he says, Don't despise this small thing, it's going to matter.

Similarly, Timothy was told, don't ever underestimate the power of that starting step.

And the kingdom of God is much like this.

We see the value of the mustard seed in Matthew chapter 13.

Matthew 13 · chapter mention

Jesus begins to say, the value, the smallest seed can provide the greatest tree.

And a lot of people don't even think about that small seed, and they think they can just despise it.

Ah, it's so small.

What can it produce?

He says that becomes the largest tree in the whole garden, and in that garden, birds and and everyone go to home and make their home in that tree.

It makes a difference.

Youth were uh something that his youth, Timothy's youth, was something in the early church he had to address.

Many of the the elders in the church in Ephesus were older than him, and it was unusual for a young man of Timothy's age to actually lead a congregation, but he led that church and he led that church well.

And it just reminds me that God uses the humble.

Just start, keep your head down, and just go, and just go, and just go, and keep working, and go to bed and wake up and be faithful and go to bed and wake up and be faithful to the call and just keep going.

You don't have to celebrate, you don't have to announce it everywhere, just do it.

First Corinthians 127, 29 says this God chooses the foolish things in the world to shame the wise.

God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

God chose the low things of the world and the despised things and the things that are not to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

That God's work gets done through vulnerable, disqualified, other than God qualifying you.

I don't know how to do it, but God's power in me, his grace in me empowers me to do the work that he's called me to do.

Timothy had no impressive pedigree, he had no degree, he had no education.

His only claim was that he had a sincere faith and that he was willing to serve.

Listen to this in 2 Timothy 1, 5, where Paul says, I am reminded of your sincere faith.

What was the most valuable thing to Paul?

You had a sincere faith.

You were sincere.

It wasn't about you, it wasn't about your fame, your ability, it was about the sincerity of your faith.

And I saw it in your mother, and I saw it in your grandmother.

Let's hear it from mothers and grandmothers around here.

The model sincere faith.

He says, I saw it in them, and I am persuaded now lives in you also.

And that last statement, your willingness to serve.

Small does not mean insignificant when God is in it.

God can do great things with small things, and you're never too young to start and set that pace.

I I love the example.

This week it was really relevant.

Um there was a company that started a number of years ago, just as the iPhone was first being developed, and it was uh a Bible app, and this Bible had been first constructed on a website, and the website was uh uh created by a guy named Bobby, I have to read this, Grunwald.

I probably said it wrong, but he was a pastor innovator.

He was a pastor, but he was an innovator, and God was giving him an idea.

I want to get the Bible into every hand for every person, anywhere they are.

Because remember how we used to, you know, smuggle Bibles into China and smuggle Bibles here and smuggle Bibles there.

He says, What if we could digitally transfer Bibles anywhere in the world?

And that was his view, and so he started this website and started printing this Bible on the website, and the website did not do well.

No one was visiting the website, and the church had sponsored and helped support it with like a little bit of money, and they had used up that money, and then that website turned into with the advent of the uh iPhone, uh, there was a store on the iPhone called the App Store, and no one knew what the App Store was.

You guys all know what the App Store is now.

Everyone knows what the App Store is, and he quickly moved from a website, moved his his app from a website to an app, and it's called the UVersion app of the Bible.

That UVersion Bible app has now been downloaded across this week one billion times on one billion devices.

Incredible.

He started this mess, he started this project on a website with a small, no marketing, barely like a small resource, and he started it from that small place.

Next week, we're gonna have two of our leaders uh from our society that oversee our school and our operations there, uh, coming to share with us what God has been doing in KCC through education.

And they're gonna be sharing this incredible story.

You may have seen it in the news this week, you may have seen articles that have come up online about how God is using small place in Rutland that started innovating with like we hope 50 people can come to like 600 the day it started, to now serving over 8,000, close to 9,000 students, and God is doing that.

Out of this small place.

God can do great things with people.

So don't wait to be ready.

Don't everyone say this with me.

Don't wait to be ready.

Start where you are.

Start where you are.

Start today.

Start.

Secondly, serve.

Timothy was aware of the servants.

And he says, he and Paul says to him, you need to fan into flame the gift of God.

In 1 Timothy 1, 6, he says, For this reason, Paul's saying to Timothy in his letter to him, I remind you, fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of hands.

How many of you know that you've got a gift that God has placed in you?

He's placed you, he's destined you here for a destination.

He's given you resource and a provision for your vision.

And it's in you.

And some of you, I'm so excited to see what's going to be coming out of you because the gift is alive and well.

And I'm so excited for that, but it needs to be fanned into flame.

And that means you've got to, the idea is that if the gift isn't used, it will be useless.

It won't be there.

But if there's a spark, and if God has placed that gift in you, it's your job to fan that, fan that spark, fan that flame into a raging furnace.

Move that beyond just what's what's easy and move it into something that is uh impactful.

Timothy had a gift.

And the elders knew the gift.

And so the elders, the older people in the church said, I see the gift that's in you.

I see it.

And they laid their hands on them and they began to bless the gift that was inside that student of Timothy.

And this week at camp, we're gonna be laying hands on students, we're gonna be stirring up that gift, we're gonna be challenging that gift because it's so necessary at a young age that you capture and you capture an idea of what that flame actually feels like for it to be like stirred up in you, and it's like it's like Jeremiah.

I've got a fire inside of me.

If I don't do anything, it's gonna burn me up.

And so that fire begins, and you need to keep it ablaze.

Now, what was happening with Timothy is that people were coming to Timothy and they were dousing his flame.

Ah, you're not that good.

You're too young, you're too ineffective, you're too powerful.

Look how chaotic your life is and disorganized it is.

And Paul said to Timothy immediately afterwards, he said, Don't let anyone despise you of your youth.

Um, remember the gift that is inside of you, and remember, God has not given you a spirit of fear and intimidation from these people.

Instead, the Holy Spirit is in you.

He's given you power, love, soundness of mind, he's given you boldness and ability.

So remember what God has done for you.

Don't allow that gift to dwindle, rekindle that gift.

A lot of young people deal with uh with timidity.

I did.

I dealt with big shoes to fill.

Many of you know that the founder of this church is my dad, David Callman.

He's a brilliant man.

Writer, orator, statesman.

It's his birthday today.

Shout out to Pastor David Calluman.

You can all send him a text, it'd be pretty cool.

I won't give you his if you have his number, that's good.

I won't make it public online.

But in that moment, I knew I had a big, I had big shoes to fill, and I felt timid and intimidated.

How many of you have been there before?

I don't know if I belong at this table, I don't know if I can lead this group.

This is impressive people in our organization.

There's so many academics that it's like, oh God, help.

Academics are wonderful, but it's like, I don't know if I was gifted to be an academic.

I'm more of a people person.

I don't know.

Like, it's just like I don't see the same way.

People, there are theologians and people who have doctors of divinity, and I'm like, God, why have you brought me?

And the Lord just continues to rekindle the gift, and he said, keep fanning the flame.

So what I would do is I would, as a young person, everyone's going to the movies, and I'm like, God, should I go to the movie?

And he says, No.

And he fan the flame.

Should I go to early morning prayer meeting?

I don't know if I really want to.

Go to early morning prayer, fan the flame.

Bible study, fan the flame.

Conference, fan the flame.

Go to youth camp, fan the flame.

Serve in church, fan the flame.

And I just continue to fan the flame, fan the flame.

And that flame stayed alive in me.

Serve.

Serve.

Use your gift.

The more you pour out.

Service is about pouring out.

As you pour out, it allows God to pour in.

It's the secret to service.

Service isn't about anyone else, it's about you.

The more you give out, the more it opens the doorway for God to pour in.

And so you serve.

And as I began to do that, I was a lot of people would say, you're sacrificing so much.

At first, like the salary was not good.

I didn't tell you that.

I lived at home for a long time.

I was like the bachelor to the rapture.

And I was like, this is not gonna set me up, like I don't know who I'm gonna find.

Thankfully, the Lord sent someone.

Yay! Yay for the bachelors out there.

But the but when God sends someone into your into your path, like you're like, Lord, I'm just continuing to fan this flame.

And people say it's sacrifice, and I would reframe it.

I'm like, it's not sacrifice, I just don't listen to explicit music because I'm fanning the flame.

And it's not about sacrifice, it's about reframing it that uh God's going to do something great in me, and I need that flame big.

And now I've gone all over the world, experiencing what God can do in one place like this, and I'm so blessed.

And so God, God honors people who fan the flame, and that's what Paul said to Timothy.

Every gift matters, so fan the flame.

So, students this week, fan the flame.

Adults, fan the flame.

Parents, I'm so grateful that you let's here give it up for the parents today.

Sending their kids off.

I know it's a it's a financial sacrifice, but what you're doing is you're fanning the flame.

And I honor you, parents, for doing that.

A gift that gets unstirred is a gift that's unused.

And so fan that flame into fire.

I I I think about uh Timothy's service and how he served, and this is what Paul said about Timothy in Philippians chapter 2, verse 20.

Philippians 2:20

He says, I have no one else like him.

I have no one else like him who genuinely concerns for my welfare, like who has genuine concern for your welfare and mine.

Timothy has proven himself because as a son with his father, he has served me in the work of the gospel.

Timothy was not about his own reputation or name, he was about service.

And Paul said he's like a son to me.

That's how genuine he is in his service.

That same calling is on our lives.

A lot of people, maybe fanboys or fangirls of Taylor Swift, Tay-Tay.

But I'll tell you, I'm not the Taylor Swift fan club.

I like Lauren Daigle.

And if any of you guys like Lauren Daigle, come on.

And Lauren Daigle, this is Lauren Daigle, beautiful woman.

She grew up in Louisiana.

She felt like uh she loved to sing, but she had no platform.

In fact, she was in school, grade 10, uh, she was in high school for two years.

She was so sick she couldn't go to school for two years.

She had a massive obstacle to overcome in her life, and it kept her out of school.

But instead of quitting her gift, she said, I can have enough energy.

I have use enough energy here.

I'm gonna help on the church worship team, I'm gonna start singing anywhere I can.

She went to nursing homes, she went to uh local events, she sang at Bible studies, she went anywhere and everywhere that was needed.

She served in prisons.

She's if you have never seen her do a concert in a prison, it's it's it's amazing.

You can search it on YouTube, but she treated every small stage as an opportunity to uh hone her craft and serve God with her ability.

Until uh and every opportunity to practice, and she was relentless in making excellent her gift, fanning that flame until one day she did a small uh singing competition, led her to be able to be recognized for uh serving at a church, and uh she began to serve in um one of uh the churches on the worship team, and then she went on the worship team at one of the services.

Someone from the crowd saw her and recognized her talent and took her under their wing, and she went from being an unknown to someone who's now got the top charts on Christian and mainstream media charts, and she's won Grammys, inspired millions, but it started with her using her gift, developing her gift in a humble and a local space and place.

We are blessed.

We are blessed.

Use your gift, serve.

So you start, you start, say start, start, you serve, say serve, serve, and lastly, you spark.

When you say spark, spark, be an example that that ignites others.

Be an example that ignites others, and this is for everyone.

Parents, be the example.

Your kids look up to.

Be the example.

You still have a dream, you still chase your dream because that example is going to inspire your young people to chase their dream.

You have uh you have a vision, pursue that vision, put provision towards that vision.

Do the thing that you feel God has called you to do, and do it with all your might and be the spark for the next generation.

Every one of us needs to be that example.

For Timothy, his spark was going to be an example to the believers.

He needed to lead with his life, lead with his story.

And notice that this list that he was told to be an example of in his love and his purity and his faith and his belief and his conduct and his words, that wasn't just church world, that's all together world.

Be an example everywhere you go, to everyone you see, be the example of Christ.

And Paul knew that this example was catalytic.

This example, this Christ-like example would be contagious to the rest of the world.

If Timothy lived it well, it would spark the whole Ephesians church.

So instead of like, I look at my diploma, the Lord says to me, just be the example.

Be the example, Brody.

Be the example of someone who raises their hands in worship.

Be the example of someone who does the church hop.

You know, I it was kind of hard for me to dance and show off my moves at front and got people all around you, but it's like this morning, but literally engage in worship.

Sing with all your heart.

Come to church ready to give, ready to speak up, ready to engage.

Come to church hungry for the word, responsive to the word, be the example.

Use your gift, inspire others with your gift, spark your gift, and make the difference with your gift.

This is what Paul says of Timothy.

1 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 16, 17.

1 Corinthians 4:16

It says, I urge you to imitate me, Paul's saying, imitate me.

For this reason, I'm sending you Timothy.

He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus.

So Timothy was the example and mirrored Paul.

Mirrored Paul.

And Timothy was the one who says, he was the one who would say, if you see Timothy, you see me.

And Paul's like, and if you see me, you see Christ.

So if you see Timothy, you see Christ.

And that is the order that we are to be able to follow God and invite others to take our example and imitate our example so that we too cause others to be inspired to follow Christ.

You preach with your life.

Your message is your life.

The people around you will learn how to follow Jesus not just from the words you say, but the life that you live.

And you're no, you're you're never too young to lead by example.

And I love this example.

I love, and you know what, young people, youth, there's something about living your life by an example that inspires others.

When you're living pure, it inspires others.

When you're in business, it inspires others.

And you look at the workplace and the and the chatter in the workplace, but you become the salt and light, and you walk in with your head held high, you lead example.

I'm so I'm I'm so impressed by those people who go on into world industry and into the marketplace and they continue to lead by example.

And they say, I'm gonna continue.

If anything, this platform is gonna allow the light to get brighter and my salt to get saltier.

Never say you're too young to make a difference because God can use you.

I'm gonna close today with this illustration.

In the 1930s, uh, two 14-year-old boys attended a tent revival meeting.

It was led by an evangelist named Mordecai Ham.

Anyone remember Mordecai Ham?

Okay.

Charlotte, North Carolina, Mordecai Ham is coming to town with a youth conference.

Fourteen-year-old boys are waiting outside.

The tent was packed that evening.

And when these two 14-year-old boys arrived at the tent, they were looking for seats, but there wasn't any seat available.

And after they were faced with the crowded conditions, they started to leave the meeting.

However, an usher noticed them leaving and refused to let them go.

He went to the parking lot, he grabbed the two 14-year-old boys, he said, You're coming with me, we'll find you a seat.

And he didn't know that this would be a life-changing opportunity for those two 14-year-old boys.

The usher, the host, ran after them, found them seats.

He's an unnamed nuts, an unnamed usher.

He his job took very little education to do.

He had to reach out, grab two 14-year-olds, find two seats available.

He did it, he found them those seats, and he didn't realize that this unnamed usher's persistence, this unnamed Usher's commitment to include these two young men would shape history.

Those two children, those two 14-year-olds are named Billy Graham and Grady McMacon.

Billy Graham, you may know.

You may not know Mordecai Ham.

Now you do, but you know Billy Graham.

Millions upon millions of people affected by the gospel message spoken by Billy and now by his son and his grandson.

You may not know his partners and the people he was with who actually continued to operate and make a difference with him.

But in this story, the hero wasn't Mordecai Ham.

The hero wasn't Billy Graham.

The unknown everyday saint was an unnamed usher who reached out when no one else was reaching out and got uncomfortable by following two 14-year-olds into a parking lot and made a way for them to find a seat in the tent where they came to Christ and made a decision to follow him with their life.

We look at our lives and we say, God, can you use me to make a difference?

God can use each and every one of us.

Be an example to the believers.

Let no one despise you of your youth.

Be the example.

Let the gift inside of you be stirred and fanned into flame.

And allow the spirit of fear to be removed and replaced by the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

Bold in your faith, knowing that God has a destination for you and for each and every one of us.

God's plan isn't over with us, He's not done with us.

He'll take you from a small start to widespread spark.

How many of you know that that small spark that started in that 10th of the 30s still has an effect today in the lives of millions of people?

The same God who called Timothy is calling you and I.

And I believe God is raising up a generation of Timothy's in our midst.

I know we've done this this morning, but I'd like to invite all the youth, whether you're going to camp or not, to come up to the front and just line right up.

Come on up quickly and line right up.

Young men and women who's gonna start their life, serve with their unique gifts, and spark a culture.

How many of you know that this generation needs Christ?

If it's their Bible, if it's their devotion, if it's early morning prayer, if it's worship, if it's one step towards you, Father, start in that direction.

Would you call them, Lord, to serve and to open their heart to you as they serve out of the gift that you've placed in each one?

Right now, prophetically, we stir up the gifts in them today.

We begin even now, before you're even on the bus, we stir up the flame in Jesus' name.

We stir it up, we breathe upon that flame that that gift in you, that purpose for living, would be initiated and grow into a fiery flame, a widespread spark.

And may they to this week, Lord, lead by example.

May they spark change in one another.

And together as each a small spark with small spark, a spark to spark to spark, they would create a flame, Father, that changes and shifts their culture.
