  1. We welcome you to the We Are Zion sermon podcast.

  2. We are a church based out of Chennai, India.

  3. We are thrilled that you tuned in today and hope that you will

  4. be refreshed, revived, and energized by what you hear.

  5. Our desire is that you will live life with a renewed sense of

  6. purpose that stems from a vibrant faith in Jesus.

  7. This summer we are going deeper into heartwarming movies to find

  8. gospel gems and Kingdom truths for our everyday life.

  9. As you listen in, we hope that through these familiar

  10. characters and sweet stories, you have a fresh revelation of

  11. the victorious life we have in Christ.

  12. Hi Chess, This is a joy and a privilege to be able to bring

  13. God's Word to you today even as you just watch the sermon

  14. Bumper. We are doing an entire series

  15. this summer called At the Movies.

  16. My main intention is to take these cultural moments of some

  17. of these movies that have come out, see what God's kind of

  18. speaking to us through some of these narratives that have been

  19. told. And many times it might come

  20. across contradictory, but that's because the Word of God is clear

  21. as to what it has to do in and through our lives.

  22. And last week we saw from this movie Zootopia 2.

  23. We've been going through that entire movie and the last week

  24. was the first part of the series and we saw the title was Snakes

  25. are Not Cute. And in the entire movie, they

  26. bring out this entire storyline of how the snake needs help.

  27. And even as Tina spoke, there were three key things that she

  28. actually spoke about with regard to the entire sermon as to what

  29. actually happens when we allow snakes to be around us.

  30. You know, one of the things is a lot of us probably are fearful

  31. of these animals like snakes and all these other reptiles.

  32. But. And so our immediate response is

  33. there, but we forget to understand the implications that

  34. it has on a spiritual level, especially with some of the

  35. things that happens around. We saw what the venom does.

  36. The venom often takes the life out of us.

  37. It injects poison and we start bleeding out and sooner or later

  38. we become incapacitated. We are unable to do what gods

  39. called us to do. And so there were two key things

  40. we also saw with regard to how we can combat this.

  41. First thing is the presence of God, which has to we have to be

  42. consumed by God and we won't be consumed by the poison.

  43. And so today I want to ask you, as we even continue on to the

  44. series, there's a lot of overlap because again, we're referring

  45. our reference point is back to a movie.

  46. But when you look at these themes, am I willing to be

  47. present in the presence of God? It's that experience that we saw

  48. what Moses had, where he went to the Bush and the Bush was

  49. burning, but it was not consumed.

  50. That is what God wants to do. And 2nd we saw is people, people

  51. of God boldly proclaiming the truth, but especially in love

  52. when it comes to people around us and the people that God's

  53. placed in our lives. Many a times we realize we kind

  54. of keep all that God's teaching to ourselves.

  55. But God is also like, now that you've been freed, now that

  56. you've tasted me, now that you've experienced freedom, now

  57. that I've removed this poisonous venom of what Satan has been

  58. wanting to do in and through your life, I have set you free.

  59. Now go and speak boldly to others.

  60. And in fact, when we look at the entire New Testament from the

  61. churches being established across all the different, one

  62. thing that's evident is the people of God spoke boldly of

  63. what God was doing. And so even as we come into the

  64. second part today, we the second part is about this entire fox

  65. who plays the main character. His name is Nikki.

  66. And when you look at that character, what do you realize?

  67. You see that he's this too cool a fox, he's cunning, he's

  68. finding his way out. But as I was watching through

  69. his entire movie, The entire theme was that he he learns, he

  70. changes his behavior, he becomes a friend.

  71. He looks out for this person. He suddenly starts caring.

  72. He's not concerned about his own interests.

  73. But as I was dwelling deeper upon this, I realized there are

  74. so many areas in our lives that we've allowed foxes to come and

  75. trample over what God's doing in and through us.

  76. And these are not just, these are small little foxes that keep

  77. coming in season out of season just to taint our faith, taint

  78. the fruit that God's giving us, do something so that we will not

  79. be able to bear. We will live in guilt.

  80. We will live in shame. And so today my title is Foxes

  81. are not friends. Foxes are not friends.

  82. The reason being we realize that this Christian life is 1 where

  83. we are journeying and we are on the camp of Jesus.

  84. We are in the camp of our Lord and Savior and there's a

  85. boundary line that's been marked.

  86. There's a battle line that's been drawn.

  87. The enemy is there. We are here, and often times he

  88. is trying to come and mess with what God is promising us.

  89. And I don't know where you're at today in your Christian journey,

  90. but I want to see that we are we living the fullness of what

  91. God's calling us, especially in the area of the what we are

  92. bearing in terms of our food. When you read through Psalm one

  93. and all those other things. He plants us by still waters.

  94. He restores my soul. And often times it's these

  95. foxes, which the Scripture keeps referring, little foxes that

  96. comes and causes confusion, causes dismay, causes, you know,

  97. distress in our lives. And so I want us to come to a

  98. place of how we will be clear as to what is happening in and

  99. through our lives. You know, many a times we are so

  100. clear about our physical lives. We are so clear what our career

  101. path is going to be. We are so clear of what our next

  102. steps are in this decisions that we are doing.

  103. We are so clear if you're investing a house, we are doing

  104. certain things. We've done our research.

  105. But when it comes to a spiritual life somewhere, we think God

  106. will take care of it. But God's like, no, I want you

  107. to be more intentional because a lot of us have entertained these

  108. foxes. Foxes.

  109. When you look in as we in the character, when you look at

  110. Nikki, he comes across as this guy who's not interested.

  111. Especially you see Part 1 and then when you look at Part 2,

  112. he's growing to love this partner of his.

  113. He's growing to, you know, care for someone else.

  114. He's always looked out for himself.

  115. He's always, like, been there. He's figured his way around

  116. people. And so at the end of the day,

  117. they don't trust him. And so how are you going to

  118. identify these foxes in your life so that you'll be able to

  119. work God's plan all your life? Because all these things are

  120. distractions for us. So we see in this movie, Nikki,

  121. he his rest is important. When you look, you know, he

  122. everything about him that he wants to do for himself is

  123. important. He's not bent on justice.

  124. He's impressing on his terms and want to get things going.

  125. He's looking down on others. And we know that when we when,

  126. when he's around other people, he wants to stand off.

  127. He doesn't strive for unity. He's like, I'll be a loner.

  128. That's the whole thing. He wants it his way, literally

  129. his way. And he doesn't want it to bend

  130. to what other people are doing. And so when you look at this,

  131. there's a passive scripture that Solomon has written in the book

  132. Song of Songs. And you might be like, guess

  133. from Song of Songs, isn't that poetry?

  134. Isn't that what he wrote towards, towards what a lover

  135. would look like? And many a times it's a

  136. relationship between God and us and how we defile ourselves,

  137. keep defiling ourselves because we are unable to overcome the

  138. temptations and the pleasures and the and the things that are

  139. surrounding us here on this earth.

  140. Yes, that's in that passage. He writes something beautiful as

  141. a verse, which I would love to read and I that will be the key

  142. verse for us today because I want us to identify what are

  143. these key things that is distracting us away from what

  144. God's calling us to do. Solomon wrote three books, Song

  145. of Songs, wrote Proverbs, and then he wrote Ecclesiastes.

  146. And then you look at the chronology in which he's

  147. written. Song of Songs was early in his,

  148. you know, into his reign where he was operating out of wisdom.

  149. And so he there was this desire for everything, an appetite for

  150. everything. Proverbs comes with instructions

  151. where don't go take this road. It's like when you look at

  152. Solomon's life and what he's written, it's like a playbook of

  153. what you and I have to follow. It's not like 1 which you read.

  154. Oh yeah, that's how that's that's his advice.

  155. No, it's one which is lived out. It's one which is coming out of

  156. a place of, hey, I've done this, I've made some mistakes and I'm

  157. I want to tell you. And when you look at the

  158. Ecclesiastes, he goes on to see what are the deep pursuits of a

  159. heart because everything will look important, but not

  160. everything is beneficial. And so when we move in this

  161. direction, what are we looking at?

  162. And so when he wrote in this Song of Songs, chapter 2, verse

    Song of Solomon 2:15

  163. 15, this is what it says. Catch for us the foxes, the

  164. little foxes that ruined the vineyards are vineyards that are

  165. in bloom. Catch for us the foxes, the

  166. little foxes that ruin the vineyards are vineyards that are

  167. in bloom. And I want to read again for us

  168. from the Passion translation, it says you must catch the

  169. troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our

  170. relationship for the raid, a budding veneer of love to ruin

  171. what I've planted within you. Will you catch them and remove

  172. them for me? We will do it together.

  173. And the reason why I chose this particular version is because

  174. God saying I can help you identify, I can help you see it,

  175. I can help you remove it. And so today, what is the

  176. Vineyard of our lives here? Clearly he's talking of his

  177. beloved, you know, as as a person who's in love with this

  178. girl. This is how I would say that

  179. What are some of the things that's bringing into our

  180. relationship? But when you look at our

  181. vineyard, what is what, What is our vineyard looking like today?

  182. You and I all have a lawn to take care.

  183. You know, there are so many lawn jokes that we have in marriage.

  184. But when you look at our lawns, how intentional are we?

  185. Lawns require a lot of hard work.

  186. Lawns require us to really maintain at a particular height.

  187. Lawns require us to make sure that you're water they're not

  188. dried. Lawns require us to make sure

  189. that there's no infection there so that we put medicines.

  190. Lawns require us to tend to week after week take care of it.

  191. And so at the end of the day, it's we we can easily judge a

  192. lawn by the way it looks. It'll show whether it's taken

  193. care of or whether it's just left up to ruins.

  194. And so today I want to ask you, what are your vineyards looking

  195. like? Because the scripture you

  196. reference here as vineyards, I know we are entire theme for

  197. this year in Divine takeover. We have the seed, we have the

  198. vineyard, we have the ground, and then we have the dew of

  199. heaven. And so as we look at all these

  200. four things through the year, one of the things I wanted to

  201. ask you today is what is your vineyard looking like?

  202. Do you have a vineyard which is unable to bear fruit?

  203. Do you have vineyards where it's it's bearing fruit, but right

  204. when it's bearing, something goes wrong.

  205. Are you trying to cultivate something?

  206. But there are patches of these places which look dry and empty

  207. and you're unable to do anything.

  208. It's the patch which is on our feet, which we are on right now

  209. that God entrusts us to Take care.

  210. So I want to ask you, what is it that He's entrusted you?

  211. Because in every stage of our lives today for me as Geshum,

  212. who's here, who's a parent, who's a son, who's a son-in-law,

  213. who's a father, who's a husband, those are all the different

  214. roles that I play. But they're all also, they all

  215. come under the same patch. So which means I need to tend

  216. every area. And if I'm not careful, there

  217. will be these little foxes that tend to come in and ruin some of

  218. these roles, some of these areas that I'm doing.

  219. And the fruit that I need to see as a father may not be the fruit

  220. that I want to see as a as a in our marriage may not be the

  221. first. Some of us.

  222. It could be the fruit of being a son-in-law may not be the fruit

  223. of actually being a son may not be.

  224. And so these little foxes will constantly come.

  225. What do they come and put? Resentment.

  226. What do they come and put? Fear.

  227. What do they come and put? Deception.

  228. What do they come and put? They come and put the confusion,

  229. they put they, they dig out the good that is there and they

  230. leave it desolate. And you're like wondering, I've

  231. been tending to this suddenly, why is there something like this

  232. happening? And this is where we need to be

  233. aware of what these little foxes are.

  234. And so today as I just take you, walk you through the sermon

  235. which you've prepared, I wanted to ask you, are we in a serious

  236. relationship with Jesus? Are we in a serious relationship

  237. with Jesus? Even during Easter, I spoke

  238. about the hinges and many a times the, the, when you look at

  239. these hinges, they seem insignificant, but they are

  240. things that actually open our doors.

  241. They are things that keep doors open.

  242. They got things which keep communication open for us with

  243. God. And so if we are not careful

  244. with these, we will soon realize we are allowing these foxes,

  245. little foxes, they come in, but after they come, they all will

  246. be running around amok in our vineyard, trampling everything

  247. that God's called us to build. And so today, why is our

  248. vineyard important? Because the minute we come into

  249. our understanding of Jesus, the minute we, you know, pray the

  250. sinners prayer, the minute we come into the waters of baptism,

  251. the minute we start living out the life God's called us to

  252. live, our vineyard is starting to look different.

  253. We suddenly attending it with God eyes.

  254. We suddenly attending it with God insight.

  255. We suddenly are realizing we are praying for everything.

  256. We just don't rely on the reins to come and just the work of our

  257. hands. But we are committing everything

  258. into God. And suddenly we start yielding

  259. fruit. Suddenly we start understanding

  260. we are bearing fruit. We also understand the seasons

  261. in which the fruit bears. Then there's time for rest.

  262. Then there's time for certain things to again die and

  263. experience the freshness of the Holy Spirit and move forward.

  264. And so in this cycle, I want to ask you, how healthy is your

  265. veneer today? How healthy is your if you're

  266. single, how healthy is your veneer today?

  267. Is it, is it marred by abuse? Is it barred by inflicting

  268. destruction over your bodies with all that you've consumed in

  269. terms of things that can harm? Is it consumed by by alcohol?

  270. Is it consumed by drugs? Is it consumed by your different

  271. relationships that you're thinking if I pursue all these

  272. time, 1 of it might bring me peace?

  273. If for those of you in in marriage, are you safeguarding

  274. it or are there things of the past that keep visiting and

  275. ruining that vineyard of yours? For some of us, we are so good

  276. that we can, you know, just fake it because during this fake

  277. grass, we can clear the entire thing.

  278. Just keep fake grass and it's and we feel like we can put this

  279. entire persona out in different places.

  280. I have a persona for church. I have a persona for my family.

  281. I have a persona for my work. But God's like, I'll strip

  282. everything down for you to be real with me because at the end

  283. of the day, as we mature in our walk with Christ, as we grow

  284. older, we will start bearing fruit.

  285. And the, the thing with the vineyard is when you actually

  286. understand the fruit of the vineyard is the older vineyards,

  287. when they produce wine, their fruit, they taste so good

  288. because by then they have become stable.

  289. Their fruit is concentrated. They, they are willing to go

  290. deep. There's so much to the taste of

  291. it. And so today I want to ask you,

  292. will you and I make this conscious decision even as

  293. you're watching this. I mean, in a light hearted

  294. sense, the movie is nice, but when we look at this, the the,

  295. the nature of how the self preservation, you'll soon

  296. realize, no, I can't be like that.

  297. And so Psalm 92, verse 12 to 15 says the righteous will flourish

    Psalms 92:12–15

  298. like a palm tree. They will grow like the cedar of

  299. Lebanon planted in the House of the Lord.

  300. They will flourish in the courts of our God.

  301. They will still bear fruit in old age.

  302. They will stay fresh and green. Proclaiming the Lord is a pride.

  303. He is my rock and there is no wickedness in him.

  304. So today you can't discount yourself saying you are done.

  305. And it's interesting. The psalmist here says they will

  306. be. They will flourish in the courts

  307. of God. They'll be planted in the House

  308. of the Lord. Today, even until your old age,

  309. if you're planted in the House of the Lord, you will realize

  310. that you will stay fresh. And you notice being planted in

  311. the House of the Lord, me it. I'm falling back on last week's

  312. sermon. You understand the importance of

  313. the presence of God. You understand the importance of

  314. the presence of his people. You will realize you are bound

  315. to flourish. There's nothing else that can

  316. happen. A lot of times, anyone who's

  317. taken a step back from the presence of God, anyone who's

  318. taken a step back from the people of God don't tend to

  319. flourish, don't tend to flourish.

  320. And the reason is you become ripe ground for the foxes to

  321. come and disturb you. They come and disturb your

  322. spirit. They come and disturb your mind.

  323. Sooner or later they are starting to disturb things in

  324. the physical because everything starts acting up.

  325. God's promise is that He will sustain us.

  326. So today if you're old here and thinking, oh man, I can't be

  327. doing this into my old age, remember?

  328. And what says in Isaiah 46, Ford, even to your old age.

  329. And Grey has I am he, I am he who will sustain you.

  330. I have made you and I will carry you.

  331. I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

  332. You know, yesterday, even as we were praying here for open

  333. heavens, Tina was leading us into a time of intercession and

  334. need. She took us to this passage in

  335. John chapter 15 where Jesus says I am the true wine and my Father

    John 15 chapter mention

  336. is the gardener and he. And there's this beautiful thing

  337. about pruning and this constant thing.

  338. The minute we realize we are part of his vineyard when we are

  339. under his car, when we are under his car, caring eyes, he will

  340. prune us. Why?

  341. Because he wants us to yield much fruit.

  342. So today, if you're thinking, you know what, last year, I, I

  343. think spiritually I was doing, but God will actually still

  344. bring in something for you to depend on even more, even more.

  345. And so today I want to ask you, as you and I give, as we strip

  346. down everything that is not of our of us, as we strip down

  347. things, as we allow God to walk in and through us, will we be

  348. ready for God to touch us so that when he touches things that

  349. are not needed will fall off, we'll scoop it out and throw it

  350. and we'll be able to tend to what he's given in our care.

  351. So I want to ask you today, will you don't discount your

  352. vineyard. Don't think, oh God, I was

  353. treated badly my ear. No, but God's sake, now you're

  354. in charge. This is your piece of land.

  355. This is something which you need to safeguard.

  356. And often times it's very similar to what salvation is.

  357. Salvation is personal. Your redemption was for all of

  358. mankind, but it's also specifically for you.

  359. And so when you appropriate that redemption into your life, when

  360. you appropriate a lot of Jesus into your life, you are claiming

  361. it for your ground, for your vineyard.

  362. Sooner or later you will realize that, yeah, you are a parent,

  363. Yes, you have spouse, but again, they have to make the same

  364. decision of allowing Jesus to be their gardener, for God to come

  365. in and say I will prune you, I will do this.

  366. Oftentimes you are trying to do things kids when we lead them.

  367. A lot of us today are unable to speak into the life of our kids

  368. because we've not even made church important.

  369. We've not even come. We don't even bring them to

  370. church regularly. Coming to church depends on how

  371. I decide to wake up. You know, coming to church is to

  372. come from a deep place of God. I want to hear you speak because

  373. this is what enables me for the remainder of the week.

  374. So I want to ask you today, are you willing?

  375. To fake it or you're willing to do the hard work of really

  376. seeing God grow your area of the vignette, what he's given under

  377. your care. And so how can we be on God?

  378. See, The thing is, probably as much as we have to realize what

  379. some of the tactics of these foxes are.

  380. These foxes are cunning. These foxes are sly.

  381. They come in quietly. These foxes are sharp.

  382. They can see through night. These foxes are ones who will

  383. come in, they will do their disruption and then they'll go.

  384. These foxes will come for things that are smaller, less

  385. insignificant, but when we when, when more insignificant things

  386. in our life starting getting disrupted, everything starts

  387. shaking. And so I have three things which

  388. I want to lead you to understand what these foxes can look like.

  389. And if it's if you're looking at your own winner and like God,

  390. these are some of the things I've allowed, we'll see God, how

  391. can we repent? How can we come back to you?

  392. How can we stop striving so that we can see God?

  393. You're in control. The first thing which I want to

  394. talk about with our with the foxes, that is the distraction

  395. they bring, because the distraction leads to deception.

  396. If you're not careful, if you don't pick up those

  397. distractions, we'll soon move to a place of deception.

  398. Foxes by nature are deceptive. As I said, foxes by nature are,

  399. are ones who are steeped in deception.

  400. That's their game. They, they can act like they're

  401. going here, but then they'll come from another place and

  402. they'll grab the, the prey and they'll, they'll start targeting

  403. and they'll do that. Foxes are you won't even know

  404. that they've come and gone. It's it's when you think you

  405. need that rest. But to be ready to always know

  406. if I am lethargic in this area, I'm leaving room.

  407. And so we are meant to be on some kind of alert whether we

  408. like it or not. Today you and I are living in a

  409. world where we are distracted by so many things.

  410. You know, it's interesting when I'm looking through some of

  411. these financial apps and I was just browsing through, they

  412. start off with a good intent. I started using cred thinking,

  413. you know, it's a one place where I'll be reminded to pay my

  414. credit card bills on time and all that.

  415. But sooner or later they bring in so many other distractions

  416. and suddenly they make sure that they are offering loans where

  417. we'll be. And that's probably the larger

  418. business strategy. But at the end of the day, when

  419. you look at it, if I'm distracted, if my provision has

  420. to be on God, if my, if my sole source has to be on God, and if

  421. I'm not praying and asking God what is what next?

  422. I will soon tap into a loan which is so easy on my

  423. fingertips, which I can just do. And before I know I can justify

  424. as to why I'm taking that. And then suddenly I realize I'm

  425. struggling. I'm struggling.

  426. Suddenly I, I thought I was debt free, but suddenly dead started

  427. mounting. Suddenly things just started

  428. gathering way too much. And so these small distractions

  429. will lead to deception. It could have been that just

  430. that one, one text which I was entertaining.

  431. It was just in a day, that distraction was just good.

  432. But down the line doing it that my colleagues suddenly

  433. distracted me away. And before I know it, my entire

  434. vineyard is being deceived. I'm suddenly not liking what

  435. God's given. There's suddenly a discontent.

  436. And so today I want to ask you, what are your distractions?

  437. Because the distractions take our eyes from the promise, our

  438. emotions are through a roller coaster.

  439. We start majoring on a minor, our focus suddenly changes and

  440. without careful thought, we are deceived.

  441. When you look at what deception is, deceiving someone for

  442. personal gain, it's deliberately caused to believe something that

  443. is not true, especially for personal gain.

  444. So especially for when, when, when someone is wanting to

  445. deceive you, they're doing it for themselves.

  446. And often times we've camouflaged it.

  447. We are also some on some level deceiving.

  448. We, we say certain things, we do certain things so that it'll

  449. work in our favour. And so I want us to come to a

  450. place God in my vineyard. Am I distracted and have a left

  451. room for deception? Deception comes in the form of

  452. people. Also in Ezekiel, when we're

  453. reading this, Ezekiel 13, one to six, there's this message that

  454. is being given by God warning that there are a lot of false

  455. prophets who are going around today.

  456. What are the distractions that you're looking for?

  457. Suddenly you feel as you're doing this Christian journey,

  458. God, I think I need to, I need to be prosperous.

  459. And so suddenly you're subscribing to the prosperity

  460. theology. You'll soon realize that those

  461. will be the lies of the enemy. Suddenly you'll suddenly be

  462. truncating gospel message for one which is without suffering.

  463. You'll realize that you will take the good and you leave the

  464. bad. But the realization is in the

  465. gospel that God's calling us to live in, there's everything.

  466. There's everything. There's seasons of blessing.

  467. There's seasons of tough hardship, but it will take us to

  468. a place to realize in both seasons of blessing and

  469. hardship, it's God who sustains me, not me.

  470. And so today I want to ask you, are you giving here to false

  471. prophets? What are the false prophets

  472. telling you? They'll be hollow.

  473. That's what the word of God says.

  474. They'll be like whitewashed. They'll tell what your eyes want

  475. to see. But before you know it, when

  476. foundations are shaken, they will they will fall down.

  477. So let's read that from Ezekiel chapter 13, verses 1 to 6.

    Ezekiel 13:1–6

  478. The word of the Lord came to me, Son of Man, prophecy against the

  479. prophets of Israel who are now prophesying.

  480. Say to those who prophecy out of their own imagination, hear the

  481. word of the Lord. This is what the sovereign Lord

  482. says. Woe to the foolish prophets who

  483. follow their own spirit and have been nothing.

  484. I've seen nothing. Your prophets Israel are like

  485. jackals among ruins, who have not gone up to the breaches in

  486. the wall to repair it for the people of Israel, so that it

  487. will stand firm in the battle of the day of the Lord.

  488. Their visions are false and their divinations are lie, even

  489. though the Lord has not sent them.

  490. They said the Lord declares and expect Him to fulfill their

  491. words. Have you not seen false visions

  492. and uttered lying divinations? When you say the Lord declares,

  493. though I have not spoken? You know when you read verse 10

  494. in the amplified it talks about foxes, it says, it says jackals

  495. and foxes. It's the same group of animals

  496. because they leave my people as they saying peace when there is

  497. no peace, and because when a flimsy wall is built, they cover

  498. it with the whitewash. Therefore tell those who cover

  499. it with whitewash that it is going to fall.

  500. Rain will come in torrents, I will send hailstorms hurling

  501. down, and violent will will burst forth when the wall

  502. collapses. Will people not ask you, where's

  503. the whitewash you covered with? So today, you and I, are we

  504. giving room to be distracted by false prophets?

  505. So what happens to counter the false prophet?

  506. You need to know the true. And the true comes only when

  507. you're sitting and when you're meditating.

  508. True comes when you're willing to be still.

  509. By the presence of God, someone becomes very pivotal for us.

  510. It starts by saying, oh, the joys of those who don't follow

  511. the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners or

  512. join in with the mochas, but they delight in the law of the

  513. Lord, meditating on it day or night.

  514. And so today, what are you and I standing around?

  515. What are we entertaining around? Yes.

  516. If we are not careful, we will start being in places where we

  517. need not being. We'll entertain those things.

  518. It's easy to gather around people to talk bad about

  519. something else. It's easy to gather around

  520. people who are willing to pull down something.

  521. It's easy to gather around people and move around what will

  522. work out because some things aren't working according to how

  523. they see it. It takes a lot more to actually

  524. wait in the presence of God and say God, is this something

  525. that's happening? Is this something that I need to

  526. stand here? Is this something I need to do?

  527. And so as you wait on God, as you start applying the

  528. scriptures into your life, you will soon realize these foxes

  529. that are coming in are causing distractions.

  530. Today. The enemy can come in different

  531. forms. Just imagine you can be

  532. witnesses to the miraculous. And then when Moses goes up to

  533. meet with God, he's that longer. He's he's in the presence and

  534. before you know it, our hearts are turned.

  535. We suddenly are asking for a God thinking that God's gone.

  536. He brought us here and he's left us.

  537. No, He just wanted us to remain calm.

  538. Just imagine, God wanted to give 40 days His people rest.

  539. Rather they got so fluttered and so many a times.

  540. The vineyard that God's given us takes time.

  541. The vineyard that God's given us has to go through its course,

  542. which means if if a certain breakthrough or a certain

  543. harvest has to come and the growing period is 9 months or

  544. you know, couple of years, it has to take its course so that

  545. you mature. When you look at the entire

  546. Scripture timeline, every character of the Bible has come

  547. at an appointed point according to God's will.

  548. There is a Kronos and there's a Kairos, and I believe your

  549. miracle will come in God's appointed time.

  550. My miracle will come in God's appointed because that's when

  551. I'll be able to handle it. I'll be able to work with it.

  552. I'll be able to see God do His work.

  553. I'll be able to understand a part of the unfolding of His

  554. will for you and me. So today, are we giving in to

  555. distractions because people around us are restless?

  556. Are we operating out of deception?

  557. How we are operating? Everything starts with

  558. addressing something that's happening in your body.

  559. A lot of us have started to entertain yoga.

  560. I would ask you, be mindful because you can't have the Holy

  561. Spirit and have another spirit where you're trying to Incarnate

  562. and trying to draw attention to God is already in you.

  563. He is life. Don't dim the light and the life

  564. that's in you through Him. You might say, yeah, you need

  565. enough peace. Your body has to come to a place

  566. of realizing God is in control. It's interesting that before we

  567. know it, you, if you're not able to take a stand, your children

  568. will not be able to stand. And then suddenly you're like,

  569. oh, we need to find a Christian School.

  570. You can find all the Christian schools possible and put your

  571. kids. But before you know it, they'll

  572. go into colleges, they'll go into workspaces.

  573. But because they're not founded right, they were not given the

  574. right armor. They were not allowed to stand

  575. and believe for what is true. They were not taught how to

  576. resist the enemy they were given.

  577. So today, don't think Christian schools are the big are the

  578. answers. It's the Christian way of life.

  579. It's that word of God. Are you teaching them to resist

  580. the enemy manifesting your own wishful thing today 2026, you

  581. you can go into any bookstore. There are books on manifesting

  582. what it is. They take this, speak it out.

  583. They just needed encouragement today.

  584. The Holy Spirit is your encouragement.

  585. He says I want to talk to you. Will you talk to me as much as

  586. you're talking to a mirror. He's saying talk to me because

  587. talking to a mirror, you're talking if you're broken, you're

  588. talking to a broke, broken version of you.

  589. You're manifesting saying you're whole, but your body is broken.

  590. You're manifesting that you're you're healed, but your body is

  591. broken. You're manifesting your spirit

  592. is right, but your spirit is in the wrong.

  593. Stop manifesting things when your entirety isn't broken.

  594. You need the healer. You need someone who will work

  595. you inside out. So today, don't fall to the lies

  596. and the the deception that the enemy brings with regard to

  597. manifesting sudden interests and things and others.

  598. Suddenly you'll realize you, you, you, you.

  599. You've lost that love. When Solomon writes this, he's

  600. talking about the distractions that are coming into his own

  601. vineyard. He's not being able to be

  602. faithful to the one. What are some of the things

  603. you're willing to give up? Give it up so that the spouse

  604. feels important. Give it up so that your children

  605. know that this is a stable family.

  606. This is a stable home. Give it up so that you can raise

  607. up a godly generation. You and I have a mandate.

  608. The minute God gives us children, he's saying I'm going

  609. to trust you with some. Would you do your job?

  610. And then when we dedicate a baby in church, he's also asking the

  611. church, would you guys live right so that the child has an

  612. atmosphere to grow and see him. And so today, what is the thing

  613. with regard to overcoming deception?

  614. This entire thing of deception is disclosure.

  615. You need to make known to God everything you're struggling

  616. with. God, this is my area of

  617. struggle. God, this is the area I'm

  618. struggling with. Just a couple of days back, we

  619. were sitting and talking to a friend and as we're talking,

  620. this is the power of dining table conversations.

  621. I would say where we where we sit, where we can put down and

  622. disclosing happened of things that that that that need that he

  623. needs help. We need help.

  624. We're able to freely talk. Why?

  625. Because it happens in a place of realizing I need help.

  626. So today, where are we disclosing?

  627. Because if you're not careful, we'll give room to people who

  628. are not supposed to be telling us the truth.

  629. And we'll be struggling in that. Our faith has to be in Jesus

  630. alone, our fruit has to be borne.

  631. When we are rooted in Him, when we are rooted in His Word and we

  632. are rooted in the garden where He is the gardener.

  633. Our future does not end here on earth, but continues with Jesus.

  634. And so with this understanding, we may should not be deceived.

  635. We should not be deceived. Ephesians 5 verses one to seven

  636. says this. Follow God's example, therefore,

  637. as dearly loved children walk in the way of love, just as Christ

  638. loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and

  639. sacrifice to God. But among you there must not be

  640. even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of

  641. impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's

  642. holy people. Nor should there be obscenity,

  643. foolish talk, of course, joking, which are out of place, but

  644. other Thanksgiving. For off this you can be sure no

  645. immoral, impure or greedy person, such a person as an

  646. idolator, has in any indentance in the Kingdom of God.

  647. Let no one deceive you with empty words.

  648. For because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are

  649. disobedient. Therefore do not be partners

  650. with them. So my prayer is that we will not

  651. give it to the distractions that the foxes bring, lest we get

  652. deceived. The second thing these foxes do

  653. is they always go and target things that are smaller to them.

  654. They're not big in size. They're like like like a regular

  655. dog, a large breed dog size. And so you'll realize they

  656. always follow the tactic of a large truck, small truck.

  657. They'll go and intimidate things that are smaller.

  658. They won't go to things that are bigger.

  659. And So what, when they come into a farm or when they come,

  660. they'll go attack a sheep, a chicken, and they, they, they,

  661. they plunder more than what they need also.

  662. And so when you're thinking about this, when I was thinking

  663. about this, God was reminding me foxes, when I'm not leaving, if

  664. I'm not careful, if I'm not alert, they dig out what is

  665. planted. So the second thing, that first

  666. one is distraction. So lest I be deceived, second is

  667. they dig out what is being planted.

  668. So as Christ's followers, we need to be on a high alert.

  669. What is it about the enemy that we entertain that he comes in

  670. and decides to take things? Because the enemy is clear.

  671. He's got his agenda clear. Steal, kill and destroy.

  672. He steals it in that emptiness. He will kill it when once we are

  673. down, He'll destroy us entirely. He'll, he'll, he'll remove any

  674. form of hope. And so today I want to ask you,

  675. who are you allowing? Why are your gates left open?

  676. Put doors on your gates. Put, put, put.

  677. Just don't leave the gates open. close it, be on alert, allow be

  678. on watch who's coming close. John 10 verses 9 to 10 says I am

    John 10:9–10

  679. the gate. Whoever enters through me will

  680. be saved. They will come in and go out and

  681. find pasture. The thief comes only to steal,

  682. kill and destroy. I have come that they may have

  683. life and have it to the foot. So to even you are not careful,

  684. put good gates around what you listen to.

  685. Keep guardrails in your relationships that you have.

  686. Keep guardrails around your finances.

  687. Keep guardrails around your heart and the and the affections

  688. of your heart because it's in this he'll always come and take

  689. what is planted because it's interesting when they're digging

  690. out, all they need to do is disrupt what is going good.

  691. All they and when they dig out, what do they dig?

  692. They don't go for the stem. They don't go for the branch.

  693. No, they dig out the root. They kill the root.

  694. They they make sure that they are killing you from within.

  695. And so today I want to ask you, the enemy knows where to hit us.

  696. The enemy knows where to hit us. Where are you and I lacking in

  697. protection? Can we be deeply ingrained

  698. knowing that God, I want to be protected by you.

  699. So today I want to ask you as Christians who love God, his

  700. word, what is the one area I need to work on?

  701. Because he's constantly coming and digging for those of us.

  702. He digs our areas of contentment, especially you.

  703. You, you're content and but suddenly there's this unhealthy

  704. appetite that he's giving. And so suddenly you, you realize

  705. you're spending more than what you actually ought to spend.

  706. You're scrolling more than what you're what you usually do.

  707. Suddenly a discontent sets in and you're suddenly are looking

  708. at images and things which you're not supposed to see.

  709. You're suddenly entertaining people who you're not supposed

  710. to be even giving room to because you know that the

  711. choices that they make are completely wrong.

  712. So I want to ask you today, what are you giving room for the

  713. enemy to come and dig God your vineyard, You know, the, the,

  714. the, it requires us to constantly keep tending, knowing

  715. the condition of our route. You know, we've been living in

  716. this house, it's been 8 years and then periodically there's

  717. some work or the other, you know, I'm realizing because we

  718. are close to a lake, we can see a lot of rust settling in.

  719. And so we need to get that sorted out.

  720. We have so much of pesticide and other things that we have to do.

  721. We also have a lot of other things which electrically we'll

  722. have to do. So for example, suddenly when I

  723. was in the room that I'm working, there's a fan that's

  724. running. Suddenly the fan started slowing

  725. down. And in peak summer, you know

  726. what the fan speed usually is. And I knew what the issue was.

  727. It was a condenser problem. And so when I'm not getting the

  728. right condenser, if I get a. If I go to the hardware store

  729. and I get a condenser which is not.

  730. The, the, it's a duplicate or it's a knock off version.

  731. Within a matter of a week or 10 days, the condenser will act up.

  732. But there's this interesting thing.

  733. So in the condenser actor, because I'm already caught up in

  734. so many other things, I am not bothered about going and getting

  735. the correct one. I am surviving in that same

  736. mode, going in that same speed where whereas I'm supposed to be

  737. actually having the right one and doing it.

  738. And so today I want to ask you, God was reminding me, many of us

  739. are operating like that because of things that are gone.

  740. We are not going to the root. God is like, can you go back to

  741. the root before he digs it out entirely?

  742. Go back to the root issue, fix it, go back to the things that

  743. break that has broken you and fix it.

  744. A lot of us are wanting superficial fixing.

  745. Now God's like, go to the root because the foxes are coming for

  746. the root. They, they, they will dig out.

  747. They will that very identity that God's built over time,

  748. He'll come and dig that out. It's interesting, the more I'm

  749. starting to see people and journey with them, I'm seeing

  750. the minute you love him and he digs out your very identity in

  751. Christ. He digs out, he puts doubt, he

  752. puts shame, and then suddenly you are just drifting away.

  753. And so today I want to ask you, what is your prayer times

  754. looking like? Are those times where He's able

  755. to talk to you or are you just talking to Him?

  756. What is your Bible reading time looking at?

  757. Because when you're spending time in His Word, is this Word

  758. coming alive and telling you what you need to do?

  759. Because the changes that we need to make are from His Word only.

  760. We can see that we will constantly have these foxes to

  761. come and dig these things out of our lives because we have been

  762. busy with something else, but it comes back to us.

  763. Can we go back and fix these issues?

  764. Can we be intentional? Can be intentional in two,

  765. Peter. One versus 5 to 9 Peter says

  766. this, so don't lose a minute in building on what you've been

  767. given. Complimenting your basic faith

  768. with good character, spiritual understanding, alertness, alert,

  769. discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder and warm

  770. friendliness and generous love. Each dimension fitting and

  771. developing the others. With these qualities active and

  772. growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet.

  773. No day will pass without it's reward.

  774. As you met here in your experience of our Master Jesus.

  775. Without these qualities you can't see what's right before

  776. you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off

  777. the books. What does this mean?

  778. It means that you and I have to constantly be tending to things

  779. with such because the enemies out to attack us.

  780. The talks, especially when you read was the same.

  781. When I'm reading the Passion, it says if you bow alone, God's

  782. awesome presence, he'll surely exalt you and you'll leave the

  783. timing in his hands. Pour out all your worries and

  784. stress upon him and leave them there.

  785. This is from one Peter, for he always tenderly cares for you.

  786. Be well balanced and always alert because your enemy, the

  787. devil roams around incensely like a roaring lion looking for

  788. it's prey to devour. Take a decisive stand against

  789. him and resist his every attack with strong vigorous faith.

  790. So today when he comes to dig out those plants, you're going

  791. to say no in Jesus name. These roots belong.

  792. I'm rooted in them. There's nothing going to change.

  793. I am going to be generous. Yes it it might seem like lack,

  794. but I will still be generous because that is the God I

  795. worship. Yes, when there is faithlessness

  796. because of the situation of no God, my faith is in Jesus.

  797. He will come through. If you're saying the joy, God's

  798. saying the joy of the Lord will be my strength, not these things

  799. which I think will bring me joy. The joy of the Lord will be his

  800. peace that sustains me and keeps me in perfect peace.

  801. Those are the things that I will run after, not things that will

  802. give me temporary peace because it's in that you'll be able to

  803. dig those, put those roots back and say whatever the fox has

  804. come, I will buttle it with the I will rebuttle it with the word

  805. of God. Take that stand.

  806. Everyone is going through this. So if you and I have to do what

  807. God's called us to do, can we take that stand?

  808. Because the distractions that He brings, the digging that He does

  809. is so that we will become a wasteland.

  810. Which takes me to the Third Point.

  811. Dead end areas become wastelands.

  812. You see in these patches when they start happening a couple of

  813. places, if you're not alert, as I said earlier, because he goes

  814. for the roots, we will allow that to spread.

  815. And before we know, what would seem like one thing will

  816. suddenly start spreading and look like a wasteland.

  817. Dead in the areas will become wastelands.

  818. So I pray that these, when you talk about these foxes running

  819. and pulling out, what do they come and pull out?

  820. What do they, what do they take out of you?

  821. Suddenly? This is Geshom here who's a

  822. Christian, but he's without joy. Guess who I'm here.

  823. It was a Christian who's without love.

  824. I might have certain things, but this one area patch which

  825. supposed to have the love is missing because that's waste.

  826. That's become a wasteland now, because he attacked that

  827. particular thing continuously, and I didn't go back to the root

  828. before I knew there was nothing else.

  829. It didn't bear fruit. It died.

  830. That's why I realized so many people today have a wrong

  831. understanding of God. Systematically, they're taking

  832. you out. Systematically they're keeping

  833. you busy from the pursuits of God.

  834. Systematically, they are bringing things so that you will

  835. be away from His presence. So find what is it that I can do

  836. to be in the presence of God? Find what I can do.

  837. What are what are the things that I would subscribe to?

  838. Everything might look important, but not everything is

  839. beneficial. Find out what's beneficial.

  840. Stick to what's beneficial. Accept that this is what God's

  841. created you for. He's not created me for

  842. everything. You know, this is a reel that

  843. comes where a wife is trying to sing and the reel says just

  844. checking if I can sing so I can have a career change.

  845. And when the song starts, she sings on a whole different key

  846. and she's going out. Be aware of what you're called

  847. for. Just because 10 other people are

  848. doing something doesn't mean I have to do it.

  849. A lot of us are trying to pursue and do things based on what

  850. we're seeing around us here with amongst the people of God too.

  851. No, but what does God called you uniquely to do?

  852. Are you confident in what he's called you to do?

  853. And So what are these wastelands today that we have because when

  854. God wants to set us free and want to wants to grow us, the

  855. when you read Psalm one, that's what it says he, he keeps us

  856. besides the streams. And what happens in those

  857. streams? They are like trees planted

  858. along the river bank bearing fruit in each season.

  859. Their leaves never were there, and they prosper and all they

  860. do. And because they do not allow

  861. the wicket, they are like worthless shafts scattered with

  862. the wind. They'll be condemned at the time

  863. of judgment. Sinners will have no place among

  864. the godly, for the Lord watches over the path of the godly.

  865. But the path of the wicket leads to destruction.

  866. You and I have to realize that we cannot operate with patches

  867. of wastelands in our lawn. With patches of wastelands, a

  868. lot of us today are wanting to do life.

  869. With a patch of a marriage not functioning, a lot of us are

  870. wanting to do life. With a patch of us not being a

  871. right parent, a lot of us are not wanting to do the life, the

  872. wanting to do Christian life with a patch of us, you know,

  873. having other things that we give in to and thinking it's all OK.

  874. But God's asking us today, what are these patches that are done

  875. in your life? It's become a wasteland.

  876. Is it joy? Is it peace?

  877. Is it health? Is it finances?

  878. Is it your sexuality? Because broken sexuality you

  879. suddenly are exploring what are the other things that culture is

  880. dictating? Is it your mind?

  881. Because when your mind is not at peace, your your mind is

  882. circling back for so many other things.

  883. Is it marriage? Because you're not?

  884. Because you think your marriage has become a waste and you're

  885. starting to look out for others. Is it your friendships?

  886. Because you've not you, you, you you've you've made friendships

  887. look very disposable that you're looking and thinking now, OK,

  888. maybe I need to change my entire circle family relationships.

  889. God's like I can still breathe and do my work.

  890. Would you come to a place of realizing that those are dead

  891. end things? Because what happens when the

  892. fox overcomes these things, The minute they cause you to

  893. distract, they dig it out. The minute it's a waste and they

  894. make it their home, they will lie that they their weeds will

  895. grow. It's interesting that parable in

  896. it says where Jesus talks about the weeds.

  897. He says the good are planted and then the weeds are there.

  898. But at the time of the harvest, the weeds are taken and they are

  899. thrown into the fire. There is a season for the weeds

  900. to be taken. There will be times when bad

  901. things will be thrown in, in a season identified.

  902. God will alert you that season, you take it out, you throw it.

  903. Seasons changed in a couple of months.

  904. That's where God's alertness alerting us, find it, take it by

  905. the root, pull it out, throw it so that you'll be able to have

  906. the harvest that is needed. So today you and I, what are our

  907. dead end areas that we have been OK, because we can cover the

  908. patch with a fake patch. We can cover those patches with

  909. the fake patch where God's like, I want to be in a place where

  910. you're not deadened to it because if it becomes a waste

  911. and I can't do anything because when it becomes a waste and is

  912. when we discard the vineyard and we move off, we choose another

  913. territory. For all those of us who've been

  914. here last year, our eyes were on the promise.

  915. We are moving in that promise. And with this year with a divine

  916. takeover saying God you take over.

  917. Can he take over these dead end areas so that they won't become

  918. wastelands. Foxes continually sit, linger

  919. and then they create a habitat. One Peter chapter 2 verses one

  920. to three before I close so abandoned every form of evil,

  921. deceit, hypocrisy, feelings of jealousy and slander.

  922. In the same way what nursing infants cry for milk, you must

  923. intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God's Word,

  924. for this milk will cause you to grow into maturity, fully

  925. nourished and strong for life, especially now that you have had

  926. a taste of the goodness of Yahweh and have experienced His

  927. kindness. Don't let the foxes sit on these

  928. areas of wastelands in your life.

  929. Offense and I would ask you, would you speak the word of God

  930. and the nature of God over every offense?

  931. For those of you who consider, oh, this is not happening, would

  932. you trust God and know that he's taking you through it?

  933. He's not kept you there, but He's taking you through it for a

  934. breakthrough, not insight. Would you still show up and

  935. boldly say God even in the midst of this breakthrough, which is

  936. not insight? I still don't show up because a

  937. victory is yours. Victory is yours for those of

  938. you who are waiting in a place of you feel like you've been

  939. completely neglect. God is saying I am with you for

  940. you. Those of you who feel isolated,

  941. he's saying my presence is complete.

  942. My glory will come down for those of you who are like God,

  943. I've, it feels like I've inherited a lot of this and he's

  944. like come submit to the altar and I will do everything.

  945. Stop striving. Let me tend to these roots and

  946. allow God to go deep in because when he goes deep in what

  947. happens is he shows us things we've carried far too long.

  948. We've just come through Good Friday and Easter.

  949. You'll realize in the Good Friday the cross always brings

  950. us to a place of deep realizing that the past does not define

  951. us, that the future is through the blood.

  952. So allow the blood to permeate. Sprinkle the blood on the

  953. wasteland. Sprinkle Jesus.

  954. Declare Jesus, take the shovel and go and dig it and see in the

  955. name of Jesus, I break ground on the wasteland.

  956. So suddenly you'll see what you thought was dead and start

  957. springing with life. As I conclude, there are two

  958. passages I want you to read specifically for us as we wait

  959. on God to ask us so that we will not give in to distraction lest

  960. we be deceived. For those digging off, that has

  961. been planted for whatever was going right, but yet the foxes

  962. came and dug those out. That He'll give us alertness so

  963. that we'll be alert to what He's coming and doing.

  964. And to the third, for those patches which we've forsaken,

  965. but God does not forsake, and He's telling us, will you trust

  966. me so that I can turn these wastelands into something more

  967. prosperous? You'll be amazed when we commit

  968. our wastelands to God, what He can do.

  969. So don't allow these foxes to inhabit these places.

  970. So I pray and ask that as we conclude, there are two verses I

  971. wanted to read and I wanted to pray because the lifespan of our

  972. vineyard is our entire lifetime and God wants us to come to a

  973. place where we have a rich harvest of producing and then

  974. even into our old age. He's saying so in the old days

  975. is when there's concentrate of wine when he's in these

  976. vineyards. And so in that, what does it say

  977. in Amos chapter 4 verse 9, many times I struck your gardens and

    Amos 4:9

  978. vineyards, destroying them with blight and mildew, locust

  979. devoured your fig and all of these, yet you've not returned

  980. to me says a lot. So what is it?

  981. God's sometimes allowed these things to come so that our focus

  982. will go back to him, but yet we've become people with

  983. soulless conviction and apathy that we're just saying God, it's

  984. OK, I'll just sit here. This is I'll take this as my

  985. Lord. God said, no, I want you to

  986. fight for it. I want you to pursue it.

  987. Anyone who's actually found victory in the Bible has

  988. actually stood on the battleground, said not given

  989. into the lie of the enemy. Isaiah chapter 65, verses 21 to

    Isaiah 65:21–23

  990. 23. This is what it says.

  991. They will build houses and dwell in them.

  992. When you tend to your vineyard, when you don't, when you respond

  993. to God's alarm, when you respond to God's cry to sing, find when

  994. He says that, and I wanted your attention now I got it.

  995. Yes, these foxes were allowed into your lives so that you will

  996. know who the true God is, so that your pursuits will be real

  997. if you pursue me. In Isaiah 65, this is what it

  998. says. They will build houses and dwell

  999. in them. They will plant veneers and eat

1000. their fruit. No longer will they build houses

1001. and others live in them, or plant and others eat.

1002. For as the days of a tree, so will the days of My people.

1003. My chosen ones will be long. Enjoy the work of their hands.

1004. They will not labor and vain, nor will they bear children

1005. doomed to misfortune. For there will be a people

1006. blessed by the Lord today and their descendants with them.

1007. So today, you and I, I want to come to a place if you've been

1008. stubborn, if you've been saying God, that my parents trusted

1009. you. And so I'm seeing this lack.

  1010. And so I, I can't believe you're like this.

  1011. God's like I want you. I want you.

1012. Don't formulate everything based on what has happened in the

1013. past. As I said earlier, we came

1014. through Good Friday and Easter. Good Friday tells us the past is

1015. not what dictates our future. So today you and I are coming to

1016. a place where we're like God, I trust you, I trust you.

1017. So I want to ask you today if there is a place in your heart

1018. where you're saying God, there are wastelands in my life.

1019. There are areas where I did mistake after mistake and today

1020. it's this barren. You're going to say, God, I'm

1021. going to ask you for that rain. I'm going to ask you for that

1022. supernatural rain. I'm going to ask you for that,

1023. for that, for that wind that will come and clear off things.

1024. Lord Jesus, I pray that, Lord, that the word of God will come

1025. and will come and become alive. And so today, even as I pray, I

1026. want you to, can you be on vigil so that these little foxes don't

1027. come? One thing is that we stay on

1028. God. We are alert, which means we

1029. don't take anything lightly. If anything, if even in doubt,

1030. we take it to God. We say, God, this happened.

1031. Is this from you? What is happening?

1032. Let it allow it to linger because it's in that you will

1033. identify that there are even more smaller things that God

1034. wants to change in and through us.

1035. So can we pray right now? Because I believe there are many

1036. of us who are struggling in an area where we are comfortable

1037. with our wasteland because we can build things around it and

1038. make it look nice and we can comfort ourselves saying you're

1039. OK. But God's like, no, I want to

1040. set you free. I want to make you whole.

1041. So loving Heavenly Father, Lord, we pray right now, Lord Jesus,

1042. that even as we heard your word, we thank you, Lord, that Lord,

1043. you're making us aware of what we need to stand for, what we

1044. need to do. And I pray we won't take it

1045. lightly, Lord Jesus. I pray even as we read every

1046. wasteland, Lord Jesus right now that your river will just run

1047. through it. Lord, as we read Lord in Psalm

1048. one that we will, we will find ourselves by a river.

1049. Lord Jesus we will we will be so in tune of wanting to be around

1050. the river. Thank you Jesus, would you start

1051. working in through US? I pray especially Lord for all

1052. of us who are so easily distracted.

1053. I pray Lord, would you guard our hearts?

1054. Would you guard our spirit man? Lord, would you guard our

1055. eyesight? Would you guard our mind?

1056. Would you guard our spiritual eyes so that we are not falling

1057. into deception? Lord, I pray for those of us,

1058. Lord, who allow these foxes to come and dig out, Lord Jesus,

1059. right from the root. We're so sorry, Lord Jesus, that

1060. we've, we've just, we've been so caught up with the fruit that

1061. we, we didn't tend to those roots.

1062. And we pray right now. Would you help us tend to the

1063. roots, Lord, Help us find answers, Lord Jesus, so that

1064. we'll be able to do it right, that we'll give room to you,

1065. Lord Jesus, please, Lord, we ask that you would come through.

1066. Please, we're, we're waiting for you, Lord, we want you to come.

1067. We want you to do your work. I pray and ask even right now,

1068. Lord Jesus. Lord, the third thing for those

1069. of us who think because we've just allowed these dead end

1070. areas to become wastelands, that Lord, would you allow you, we

1071. allow your river to run over it, turn, wash us clean, breathe

1072. life into it, walk. Would you would, would your wind

1073. come upon that land, your wind which brought shaped the earth,

1074. which brought light into the darkness, which brought life?

1075. Would you do that down to our wastelands?

1076. Be glorified, Lord, be glorified.

1077. Take charge, Lord. We're so grateful, Lord, for

1078. you. We're so grateful that we come

1079. get to be in the company of people and in your presence.

1080. Lord, I pray your world will come alive.

1081. Your your wisdom will come alive.

1082. Lord Jesus in US, take charge, be glorified.

1083. More than anything, we want to give you the glory and the honor

1084. because you believe in you is all things.

1085. Lord Jesus, through you are all things.

1086. So we give our hands, raise our hands and say, Lord, you take

1087. all the glory, because whatever comes out of the vineyard is for

1088. your glory. We've tasted, we've seen, and

1089. the fruit of it. You want to give it back to you.

1090. Lord Jesus, be glorified, be honored.

1091. Your most holy name we pray. Lord, Amen.

  1092. Amen. Amen.

1093. Pray even as you go out this week, do watch the movie.

1094. It's really fun. But more than that, I pray that

1095. these things will be of alertness for us, but we won't

1096. allow these little foxes to come ruin our vineyards.

1097. God wants us to thrive in every area.

1098. That's what the more I'm reading His word, I'm realizing He wants

1099. the whole of us to thrive. So I pray whatever is

1100. struggling, whatever area is struggling, committed to God,

1101. because when you allow that, He will shine His light through you

1102. so that others will see Him through US.

1103. Pray that even as you step out this week, God will bless you.

1104. We hope you enjoyed today's message and we're blessed.
