  1. And I shared with you and I dedicated this scripture that is found in Joshua 6

  2. 1 and 2 if you can put that up and it's a very common and and familiar scripture for

  3. For most of us and it says now Jericho was surely

  4. securely shut up because of the children of Israel

  5. None went out none came in and the Lord said to Joshua

  6. See I have given Jericho into your hand its king and the mighty man of Valor

  7. I confirmed the call of Pastor Jacob at that time and those of you that

  8. Accompanied him or like I said on this journey and those of you that believed together

  9. That God had given you the city of mountain view into your hand

  10. I spoke a spoke a word of faith to that small but valiant

  11. group of people that stood with Pastor Jacob and sister Shiree and the family not knowing

  12. That what would be the future or the the days ahead and

  13. To accomplish God's word and mission a purpose and mission in this city

  14. It's almost as if that you entered it blindly not knowing but I

  15. Preached a message one time some years ago somewhere

  16. I don't know where and I says we need to have blind faith and

  17. blind faith meaning that we don't need to see to believe and

  18. many times when we see something and we already know well praise God

  19. You know it helps you and I'm gonna be talking about a little bit about that in a few moments

  20. But there is not a stronghold. I told you there is not a weapon form that will hold you

  21. And I don't believe that nothing has held you back

  22. I believe that you would you set out to do God begin to do a work in your lives

  23. Many people have entered through those doors

  24. Many people have come here and they have received something from God not everybody stays

  25. But everybody takes a man and somebody came and they got something from the Lord

  26. Some of them stayed some are with you now that weren't with you at the beginning

  27. But the important thing is this that the doors have been opened

  28. And I don't know if you remember but that was pastor Jacobs topic the doors are open

  29. I don't know if we remembered that a baton and that is what's important here today

  30. Is that the doors are still open? Can you praise the Lord?

  31. There's many doors especially

  32. because of the troublesome times and the the turbulence and life and the economy and

  33. And and and even as we passed it as was mentioned a couple of weeks ago the pandemic so many things that have come

  34. that could have

  35. Disabled you or or disappointed you or or even you know held you back

  36. But it did not hold you back many businesses. In fact, no

  37. we were just somewhere recently and and

  38. I

  39. Wanted to go we wanted to go to this restaurant and and when we get there we find that it's closed down

  40. The doors were closed and you know, there's been many doors that have been closed over the last ten years

  41. There's a lot of people that started things that didn't finish up. They gave up they threw in the towel

  42. They say forget it. It's not worth it

  43. But city light has kept the doors open for ten years. Amen and because of that many people and especially

  44. The enemy of our souls. He don't like it when the doors are open

  45. He doesn't like it when the signs are out in front

  46. He doesn't like it when people begin to make noise in the sanctuary with

  47. Jubilee and shout and singing and the word of God is being preached

  48. But the devil and whatever he has thrown to you you've been able to hurl it

  49. You've been able to dodge it

  50. You've been able to get through it and here you are today bless the name of the Lord

  51. God is good and God has been with you through the highs and the lows. He's been with you praise God somebody. Amen. I

  52. Mentioned a quote back then and I will I will just repeat it again because

  53. It still stands true and if you can put it up there for me, please

  54. It was a quote by a man by name run Sylvia. This is what he said

  55. He's a church planter a coach in Florida

  56. He says God prepares you for a place and God prepares a place for you

  57. And I believe and what I'm going to be speaking about here today

  58. I'm gonna take you just a little bit further than the opening scripture if I may and I want to

  59. Entitle if I may I'm not one with fancy titles and all of that. I'm you know, I'm over the hill

  60. And we're gonna talk about that hill right now

  61. Praise God, no, it's not that I just I'm just gonna give it a simple name. Give me Hebron

  62. Give me have somebody say give me Hebron

  63. Today I confirm that this is still the beginning for city light

  64. The best is yet to come

  65. Don't don't think that oh, we are at the pinnacle. This is not Shiloh right here

  66. We're not just gonna plant and stay here. We got to get out and explore

  67. We got to get out and and know that God has so much more for us

  68. And we don't need to have a Shiloh experience where God had to come down it and

  69. Shake things up and and get people moving out to to claim their promises

  70. But I thank God that city like church is on the move a band city like church

  71. is a moving target if you please because

  72. People that are on the move from God there. It's difficult to get them and to discourage them

  73. But I want to thank you for your sacrifices for your investments for your prayers and for your giving

  74. Because it is not in vain

  75. God will never forget maybe you forgot

  76. That day that you prayed and the day that you fasted or the day that you contributed

  77. Maybe you forgot about it, but God does not forget

  78. He knows everything you've done every little thing that you have done in favor of his

  79. People in favor of his church God does not forget and I read a scripture back then a short verse and it said

  80. Matthew 16 18 I didn't give it to you on PowerPoint, but it says I will build my church

  81. That is a promise because God doesn't set out to do anything unless he plans to finish it

  82. He's the author. He's the finisher of everything praise God nothing in from before or after in between

  83. Gets done without his permission and when God says I'm going to build guess what God's going to build

  84. When God says I'm going to build my church

  85. He's going to build the church and it's not up to any of anybody else

  86. It's up to God and when God is in it praise be the name of the Lord

  87. It's gonna happen

  88. Turn your neighbor is happening. It's happening

  89. the potential of any church

  90. Lies within the gifts that the Lord gives the church

  91. God has not sure changed or held anything from city like church

  92. You are a very gifted church with great potential

  93. Becoming the brightest light in the city for people to come and receive

  94. Christ as their personal Savior gifts are not received as many people think and

  95. Ready to use switch on switch off gifts don't come like that

  96. they must first be

  97. discovered and then

  98. Developed and to work together within a spiritual body to reach its greatest potential

  99. Spiritual gifts are not to operate alone. God never

  100. designated or gave a gift to anybody that should operate by itself

  101. There's no gift in my Bible that says it's a gift on its own

  102. Independent of everybody is not we are a body of Christ. We are a people that make up a body

  103. So the gifts don't operate alone

  104. They work in concert and in harmony with other gifts to become a functional

  105. Organism this requires unity

  106. Which has been a characteristic of city like church. Can you say amen to that?

  107. gifts are

  108. Rarely discovered by the recipient alone praise God

  109. There's been great men in whatever sport and athletics and

  110. and athletics and sports

  111. Industry that were not discovered in themselves

  112. They were discovered by somebody else praise the Lord the potential of any athlete

  113. It's not to be discovered within himself

  114. But rather by a scout somebody that's out there looking and they say wow did you see that kid over there?

  115. Oh my god does he have an arm does he can do it?

  116. Oh wow, you know he's got this potential and to begin to look at him

  117. They scout him out a coach will look at him or then even a mentor that

  118. Observes and recognizes the gift and the talent of an athlete by their raw

  119. performance and love for the sport one of the greatest tests for

  120. Any athlete is their love for the game?

  121. I wouldn't want to engage or be part of anything unless they loved what they were doing a man

  122. If they don't have a love or a heart for the sport

  123. They will most likely not be willing to be mentored or developed to their greatest potential

  124. I've played and sports

  125. You know for a good part of my life and and I knew I know I seen this and and I wasn't the greatest

  126. Athlete but one thing that I had is I had a love for the game and praise God and when they would tell me to do something

  127. A certain way I did it just like they said

  128. And and so that kind of moved me up into the front lines what they called

  129. You know first strength second straight and you know I hated second and third string I

  130. Don't like first second and third

  131. I want to be in first string and I would be right by the coach and people say oh you're you're brown now

  132. See in the coach no, I'm playing more than you

  133. I'm in there man. I want him to know that I'm right here and I'm ready

  134. How many are ready?

  135. Praise God if you're just gonna be sitting down chatting and drinking Gatorade you're not going in man

  136. With your helmet off, you know, hey look at me man. I'm number 95 really?

  137. Why don't you stand where you're available? I always used to stand if the coach and go that way I follow the coach

  138. V go that way I follow the coach. Yeah. Hey man coach. Yeah, I'm right here put me in

  139. Amen, and that's what it requires somebody that is ready able and willing I

  140. Remember maybe I shouldn't tell you but I'll tell you I

  141. Remember one occasion it wasn't my position, but the coach just wanted a certain guy hit so bad

  142. He just wanted him to be hit. I don't care. I just want somebody to hit that guy

  143. And I was standing right here looking at he says will you hit him? I said yes, sir

  144. Get in there in the next place is what position do I play that just get in there hit him?

  145. Man, let me tell you I

  146. Didn't care where the ball was

  147. Didn't matter where the ball was going my eyes were on that guy and

  148. Then I seen him running and and and and our our I don't know if it was a half back full back or

  149. Or whatever back he was running and he had the ball and I was up there running with him

  150. I was you know kind of blocking people and then I saw the guy

  151. There he is

  152. I said never mind who's carrying the ball right now. I turned around and

  153. Then I faced him head on and that guy looked at me you're a fool. I said no, I'm not and

  154. Then he came at me and I just ducked down and I will boom that guy wouldn't like this

  155. Boom he fell on his back and the ref wanted to throw me out of the game

  156. He wanted to throw me out of the game. So you can't do that. I says my coach said do it. I did it

  157. So I wouldn't he said oh my he was hugging me and I

  158. knew I

  159. Didn't know what I was doing, but I did what he said I was being I was just following the the the coaches lead

  160. Amen, sometimes we don't know why just do it

  161. When your mentor and your coach tells you to do it just do it when your pastor says hey gotta do this man get in there and do it

  162. Don't question. You might say that's out of the rules. Hey man. Who said there's any rules there just get it done

  163. I have personally seen

  164. The city like church in its maturing

  165. I have seen it mature and develop into what God had envisioned it to become and

  166. God has given

  167. City like church the gift of a pastor

  168. Which is part of the five-fold?

  169. ministerial gifts of the church

  170. God himself has taken personal interest in his gift to the church and he began the process by making

  171. pastor Jacob into

  172. Taking him under his own

  173. Mentorship as an understudy of God himself and then he continued to develop him into a true

  174. Under shepherd you will not become an under shepherd until you become an understudy

  175. You got to be submissive to the plan of God into the call of God and the preparation and the development of God and whatever level in ministry

  176. You are involved and remember you've got to be God's understudy

  177. You got to be the understudy of the leader that God has placed in your life to develop and form you and prepare you

  178. into what you should become and will become

  179. the process of development and re and building

  180. Continues through the pastor who has been given the ability to discover other gifts and

  181. Potential and other people that is under his care

  182. He then begins to edify develop and most important to mentor

  183. Every member under his care to the greatest potential of ministry and God's kingdom work

  184. People that come in and you know and they're already made up

  185. I mean we've seen these these athletes that you know they they cannot they don't gel with the team because they come from

  186. Somewhere else and and they have their own ideas and and they want to do it their way and and it's hard to work that way

  187. But when somebody is born here and somebody is developed here when somebody is willing to to gel

  188. With the ministry under the vision of the pastor. Let me tell you God has great things in store for you

  189. And God will bless and use you and grant to your greatest potential. I'm gonna tell somebody here

  190. I don't know who is for you have not reached your potential yet

  191. You might think you have reached a pinnacle God has so much more to draw out of you to develop in you

  192. You have a great potential in God to God be the glory

  193. Many great athletes that ended the career prematurely

  194. We're asked what happened and

  195. In many cases it's possibly an injury

  196. But then one of the things that is heartbreaking is to hear somebody say I have lost the love for the game I

  197. Don't love the game anymore and

  198. When you lose love for the game you stop developing you stop growing in your gift or your talent

  199. Pastor Jacobs love for the ministry has only grown to the point that he is willing to submit to the most

  200. rigid and demanding development to ensure that God accomplishes his purpose in his life and in this city

  201. Love for the game is the greatest motivation to pay the price of

  202. Sacrifice and pain for the gain somebody say praise the Lord. Amen church leadership

  203. Beginning with the pastor follows the same pattern in the same path

  204. But I don't think that's a problem here at city like church

  205. I see an assembly of gifts and talents that God has brought together

  206. that are determined to pay the price and grow and mature

  207. Because of the love for ministry and the work of God you are willing to submit

  208. To the development me to the molding that God has prepared for you city light

  209. This is your best season. I

  210. Said this is your best season

  211. God has brought you to a place through it all you trusted in God

  212. You have not been distracted you have maintained your focus and the dream is much closer

  213. Then you can even imagine

  214. Because you know like somebody said one time that was running for office

  215. He says hey the side view mirrors in the rear view mirrors

  216. They're very deceiving because the reality is

  217. Your prize is a lot closer than it seems because sometimes when we look to things and we think well

  218. It's way back there. No, it's not it's with you

  219. And I want pastor Jacob to say even though he looks in the rear view mirror and he sees the congregation maybe way back

  220. There they're not way back there. They're a lot closer than he might think they're right there with him in the trenches

  221. Yes, it's a beauty of loving the game. I

  222. talked about Jericho

  223. But I want you to know that Jericho is now in your rear view mirror

  224. You might say well, when did we pass it? Don't worry

  225. And I want you to I want this church to know this is what I have for you today

  226. Jericho is in the past

  227. Yes city light has crossed over

  228. City light has now a gain a momentum

  229. City light is now beginning to experience experience the promises of God

  230. Things are beginning to open for you and I'm gonna tell you something

  231. I'm believing God for great things for city light church

  232. Are you hearing what I'm saying? How many of you still love this thing?

  233. How many still left to be here?

  234. Because if you don't love it, you'll lose it. Amen

  235. But if you love it, amen, it's gonna launch you out even further into the future and you're gonna be part of all

  236. Jericho was in your path to get to what God wants to take you

  237. My title for today is give me Hebron

  238. Give me Hebron and I want to explain to you a little bit. I won't be long

  239. But I want to explain to you the difference many people they get to Jericho

  240. And then they want to just you know say that's good. I'm glad we're in the promises of God

  241. No, no, no Jericho is just the beginning of what God has for the church

  242. Don't think spiritually speaking that you crossed over praise God. We're over here. We're in the promises of God

  243. Yes, praise be to God, but we have a bigger vision than that

  244. We have a greater purpose than that

  245. Jericho, amen is already history

  246. But

  247. Hebron is your future now I'm gonna explain that here in a minute

  248. You have what I call the spirit of Keb Caleb and the dream that Caleb had

  249. Hebron is what Caleb dream. I'm gonna tell you something

  250. Caleb never dream Jericho

  251. He never dream Jericho

  252. Never talked about Jericho. He never said hey when we get to Jericho

  253. That wasn't what kept him for 45 more years in the desert

  254. It wasn't Jericho that he was concerned about it wasn't there Jericho that he fell in love with

  255. It was Hebron

  256. and

  257. And Hebron is what Caleb dream about for 45 years more in the desert

  258. When he was at 40 years he crossed over into the promised land to scout out the land

  259. He was out there for months

  260. Looking and seeking and going up and down with 11 other spies scouting out the land

  261. Caleb saw

  262. Something that got within his spirit and that what got into his spirit now

  263. For 45 years it was in the frontlets of his eyes

  264. He would not stop talking about Hebron. Will you stop it already?

  265. Caleb be quiet. You're never gonna see Hebron. Oh, no one day. I'm gonna set foot on Hebron again

  266. One day I'm gonna cross over but I I don't know what we're gonna confront

  267. I have no idea what we're gonna have to pass but my target is Hebron

  268. Hebron

  269. Had a significant was significant to Caleb. It is a

  270. it is a

  271. spiritually a

  272. spiritual place of claiming for him

  273. Hebron was home for our father of faith Abraham

  274. Abraham

  275. loved Hebron

  276. Abraham lived in Hebron

  277. Abraham loved Hebron so much

  278. He spent most of his time in Hebron

  279. but he

  280. even wanted to bury his wife in Hebron and

  281. He he said well, I want to legitimately illegally

  282. Claimed some ground here to to to bury my wife Sarah

  283. So he offered a man by the name of Ephron

  284. He offered him

  285. To buy a cave to bury his wife

  286. It was a piece of land

  287. But within there there was a cave that he wanted to bury his wife in

  288. but

  289. Ephron

  290. He offered Abraham. They loved Abraham in that time and and these people were inhabitants of the land and

  291. They offered Abraham for Abraham. You can just have it Abraham. You gotta just take it. It's yours

  292. I'm giving it to you. We love you Abraham, but Abraham said no, I don't want you to give me nothing

  293. I want to legitimately buy it for full price

  294. That's what I want and that is symbolic of what the Lord Jesus Christ did

  295. He paid full price that you and I could be here today

  296. You see the best things in God is gonna cost us something

  297. Are you ain't hear me right now? I said the best things in God is gonna require something from us

  298. God can give us a God can give you a Jericho God can give you an AI

  299. But God wants you to pay a price for Hebron

  300. Nobody likes to pay the full price

  301. He didn't he offered it for free and even

  302. Attempted to no go negotiated and give it to him at a discounted price

  303. But Abraham refused and insisting on paying full price. I'll pay full price

  304. It was it was only a small piece of land

  305. which

  306. That had no meaning was a burial site for for goodness sake

  307. You know it was a cemetery for us and you know who wants to pay full price

  308. No, but Abraham said no

  309. No, I

  310. Want to pay full price. I

  311. Know that it's spiritually mine because God said wherever I set my foot is mine

  312. But I want you to know that I want to pay it because I want it not only to be mine spiritually

  313. I want it to be mine legally. I want the deed of the land

  314. Ray the Lord I

  315. Want the deed and

  316. So they proceeded and Abraham purchased this

  317. the piece of land there and and and

  318. Eventually he buried his wife

  319. not only

  320. Did God promise Abraham the land

  321. But God provided for Abraham to purchase it and

  322. Now Abraham had what I call a double claim a

  323. Double claim man, I don't know if you've ever had anything that you got a double claim on

  324. But man, let me tell you one's not good enough the other one here man. I got the paperwork

  325. Haha, it's mine. It's mine. You're not gonna take it away from me

  326. You might you might think that maybe I might be in the spiritual low somewhere and you think you can run me out of the

  327. Promise land. Yeah, you might be able to run me out of the promised land, but I got a claim to this land

  328. I got that deed and I want you to know that when the people of God were in Egypt and and and Jacob passed away

  329. Yeah, amen and and he passed away in a foreign land, but Joseph said I need to go bury my father

  330. In the deeded land of Hebron

  331. I need to take him back and bury him when the land that was purchased by my grandfather

  332. I need to take him to my great grandfather

  333. I need to take him there and he took him back and buried

  334. Jacob in the land

  335. Hebron

  336. So we see here that

  337. No matter where the patriarchs would die they will return to Hebron and buried why because Hebron is a destination

  338. Hebron to them was a place of rest

  339. Hebron was for them a place of claim. This is ours and we're going here praise God

  340. I was just recently involved in some property dispute

  341. when I was

  342. Supervising up there in the Great Lakes. They have a huge piece of land

  343. 87 or 88 acres of land that they they they bought years and years ago and and they wanted access

  344. Well, praise God that when we started to get access in there

  345. Everybody was saying you can't get in through my property. He said well, doesn't this place have an entrance?

  346. How are we gonna get to our land?

  347. It says well, we've been coming through over here

  348. You know and and we've been coming in through this little piece of land over here or who owns this land?

  349. We don't know I says, you know what we're gonna do. We're gonna buy that land

  350. Because ain't nobody gonna deny us access to our promise

  351. Hello, somebody

  352. And let me they say bishop are you okay? I says what do you mean am I okay? Are you okay?

  353. How can you have something and not have access?

  354. We're gonna get right here. Let's make it right. I says in first place

  355. You know what we're gonna do? I want you to build a big gate in the beginning of the entrance and put a name on this campsite

  356. And say this belongs to us. This is our entrance and they say you want to put a gate put an entrance

  357. You know, nobody gonna deny us what belongs to us. Praise God and you know, I'm gonna tell you something

  358. There's a lot of things that the enemy might want to say the door is closed

  359. We got a claim in there and I know the city life God has something big for city life and you need to get in there

  360. Abraham paved the way

  361. Abraham bought the entrance

  362. And

  363. Abraham Sarah Isaac Rebecca Jacob and Leo are all buried there now

  364. Hebron is a place of beginning and a place of ending

  365. And Hebron is a full circle if you please

  366. So when they

  367. began to

  368. Take the land with Joshua as their leader

  369. When they began to make their way into the land and and they they began to take

  370. Certain cities like I mentioned, they started in the central

  371. of

  372. Canaan Central

  373. Cities and Jericho was one of them and have and AI another one and so forth

  374. And then they had to go south and when they were going south there was Hebron

  375. And it was around that time that that that Caleb in Joshua 1412

  376. And he said this now therefore give me this mountain

  377. Of which the Lord spoke in that day

  378. For you heard it nobody else he says the Lord spoke

  379. And I'm going to tell you when God speaks

  380. Nothing can come against it when God spoke a word into your life. Don't listen to nobody else

  381. It don't matter if it's somebody says you're going to fail. I don't care. I'm in the will of God

  382. And I'm going to have great success where you've had a lot of failures. It don't matter if you had failures

  383. When you have a word from God, you're going to have great success

  384. He spoke in that day. He says for you heard him. He was now talking to to Joshua

  385. You heard for you heard in that day how the anachem were there. Who was anachem anachem was a family of giants

  386. There were three brothers that lived there the descendants of anachem and they were there

  387. Where they were in that?

  388. Hebron

  389. And that

  390. The cities were great and fortified

  391. It may be that the Lord will be with me

  392. And I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said

  393. That mountain was Hebron

  394. Hebron

  395. That was his target

  396. Hebron was not an option for Caleb

  397. It was not up for negotiation

  398. Caleb

  399. Would you rather have this city over here? Look at the land

  400. Look at how beautiful it is

  401. Look at the waterbrooks that go through at Caleb because I'm not interested

  402. No, no, no, no, no, I'm not interested in that. You know, what about over here Caleb?

  403. What about this side? It go up north central? Hey, man, why you want to be down there in the south?

  404. There's a lot of trouble down there. Hey, I don't care what's down there

  405. I have a dream

  406. I've got I've got reason to go there

  407. He says uh, and he said he was decisive

  408. He was determined. He was bold and he was courageous to pursue this challenge

  409. And he says I am repossessing what belong to my forefathers

  410. I don't know, you know some years ago. I I had a real nice pickup truck 56 Chevy custom cab

  411. Full synchro shift

  412. 327

  413. 650 carburetor

  414. Yeah, she was a beauty man. I can show you pictures after service

  415. I sold it two times

  416. And you think I'd learned the first time

  417. This guy, I don't know what was wrong with me. He must have caught me on a good day for him

  418. But I sold it to him, but I sold it to him on a little bit of credit

  419. He owed me a balance

  420. And I said look, we whoa

  421. You think I'm dumb. I'm not gonna give you the pink slip

  422. Until you pay me in full

  423. Oh, you got to put insurance on it. Well, I kept my insurance on it just in case

  424. Well, he didn't pay me

  425. Yeah, and I went looking for him. I couldn't find him. He was not home all the time

  426. So one day I got a buddy of mine that was a police officer and says hey, I got it

  427. I need a favor. So what is it? I gotta go get my pickup. You got the pink slip right here

  428. I got the pink slip, man

  429. He said well, let's go get it

  430. So we went over there and sure enough the pickup was in the driveway

  431. And walked up there and this big

  432. Bruiser of a man, he comes up what you want and says I want my pickup

  433. He says you can't have it and says oh, yes I can

  434. I got the pink slip right here. He said my name is my name. Officer's in my name. He said it's in his name

  435. He says well, what are you gonna do? So we're gonna take it. I'm gonna drive it away right now

  436. He said you can't drive. He said oh, yes, I can. He said you ain't got the key. Oh, you think I gave you all the keys?

  437. I know you're dumb enough not to change that

  438. Because that's hard to get another key slot for that 56 says I got an extra set of keys here. Bye. Bye

  439. You can't take watch me

  440. And the officer say whoo stay there sir go ahead and drive her away sir. I got him my little 56

  441. She's boom. Oh man, it felt good. I'm out of here

  442. The secret to reclaiming what was mine. I had the keys

  443. Oh, you ain't hear me right now. I had the keys

  444. I don't know if city light has the keys

  445. I'm gonna got the keys here

  446. I will give you the keys the Lord said Peter now Peter upon this rock. I'll build my church and I will give you the keys

  447. Wow, so you can claim it

  448. You have the deed the title and you got the keys and you can go claim what's yours

  449. Hebron belongs to city light

  450. I said hebron belongs to this church now we're gonna go there a little bit city light

  451. Hebron is yours to cling

  452. Listen to this hey Hebron later became a Levitical city

  453. It became a levitical city

  454. It became a priestly city because if you recall the priests the Levites had no claim to nothing

  455. You know where they went? Hebron

  456. All the priests went to Hebron

  457. All the levitical people went to be became a levitical city a priestly city

  458. Where the priests minister and sought God's presence it was a place of worship

  459. It became where people went to worship God

  460. Are you with me? It was a place where people wanted to go where you're going going to Hebron

  461. What's in Hebron? Wow man Hebron is where the priests are Hebron is where the worship is I want to go to Hebron

  462. I want to go to Hebron

  463. Hebron was something that people desired

  464. Hebron also became a refuge

  465. One of the city first cities of refuge where fugitives can go and find hope

  466. So it was a not only a place of worship where the priests were the levitical city

  467. Where the presence of God is sought and where there was worship

  468. But people came there because they knew there's hope over there in Hebron

  469. When David became king of Judah

  470. Nointed for the first time

  471. He reigned from Hebron

  472. For seven and a half years

  473. Hebron was the royal residence of the king David

  474. You see when you take Hebron

  475. The king will show up

  476. Oh you're not hearing me right now

  477. I said when you take Hebron

  478. The king is going to come and reside in Hebron

  479. Why?

  480. Because we claimed it

  481. How many want the king of king and the lord of lords to reside right here in city light

  482. Praise the lord somebody

  483. It was Hebron where David was anointed again

  484. I believe that was the third time

  485. And he became king over all of Israel

  486. Listen to me

  487. When we claim Hebron

  488. And we take Hebron

  489. And we possess Hebron

  490. Not only is there going to be a royal place for priests

  491. For the presence of God worship

  492. Of refuge place

  493. But it's going to be a place of anointing

  494. You hear what I'm saying

  495. A place of a...

  496. Woo I feel the presence of the lord right

  497. Let me tell you something

  498. You can have whatever you want

  499. I want the anointing of the lord

  500. I want to know that I'm in the midst and in the right place to get the anointing of the lord

  501. The anointing

  502. Greater anointing

  503. Great things

  504. Await city light church

  505. If we can only take Hebron

  506. Give me Hebron

  507. Hebron spiritually speaking is a great prize

  508. It is a place of great expectation

  509. It was in Hebron that Caleb

  510. When he was surveying the land with his other eleven spies

  511. When they were out there surveying the land

  512. It was at Hebron

  513. And that mountain where Caleb plucked those enormous grapes

  514. He plucked them out

  515. And he brought them back over back to Moses as evidence of the promises

  516. And the great things that await us in the promised land

  517. But he plucked them out of Hebron

  518. Hebron was known to be where everything grew big

  519. Praise the lord

  520. The people were big

  521. Praise the lord

  522. The fruit of the land was enormous

  523. I don't know if you want the enormous

  524. Here at city light

  525. Let everybody have the raisins

  526. Let other people take the raisins

  527. If you like raisins I'm sorry

  528. But let somebody else take the raisins

  529. I want the grapes man

  530. Because grapes produce wine

  531. And wine is symbolic of the spirit

  532. Oh you ain't hear me now

  533. Oh let me tell you something

  534. He brought back the evidence of the fruitfulness of the land

  535. Caleb he was aware of the strong resistance he would face

  536. Hebron is where the sons and Annec lived

  537. He knew that

  538. But guess what

  539. Not everybody views Hebron like Caleb did

  540. This is important

  541. There were giants in Hebron

  542. And it was there that the ten spies that came back with a negative report

  543. Came back with a report of what they saw in Hebron

  544. Wow

  545. There's people

  546. There's churches

  547. We don't mention no name

  548. There are churches that get to Jericho and AI and all the other little places

  549. And they shout and they're shy low

  550. They're just having a party

  551. But they have no idea what Hebron has

  552. And you know why they don't want to go there

  553. They know there's big fruit there

  554. They know but they're afraid of the giants

  555. They said, what did they say?

  556. We're like grasshoppers before them they said

  557. Grasshoppers

  558. Is that how you view an apostolic Holy Ghost Field Church

  559. As a grasshopper in the city of Mountain View

  560. You're not a grasshopper here

  561. You're giant killers man

  562. You have the deed and the keys to the promise of God

  563. The gifts of God are operating here

  564. We're not grasshoppers

  565. In fact you should get a sign and put it out there and say no grasshoppers allowed

  566. Grasshoppers allowed

  567. Brother get an idea now

  568. Hebron is a place of refuge

  569. You can put up that last slide for me brother thank you

  570. Look at this

  571. Hebron is a place of refuge

  572. A place of great abundance

  573. A place of rooted faith

  574. Through our patriarchs

  575. A place of royalty

  576. A place of worship

  577. A place of ministry

  578. And most importantly a place of anointing

  579. Stand with me please

  580. City light

  581. Just as God blessed Caleb

  582. With such a great trophy

  583. God will also give city light Hebron

  584. And all that comes with it

  585. If you just claim your trophy

  586. Your prize

  587. Hebron is a typology

  588. Of a powerful revival

  589. A great harvest

  590. A great ministry

  591. And a powerful anointing

  592. When I've come to tell you today

  593. Hebron is yours to claim

  594. Many people

  595. Settled

  596. Around Jericho

  597. Around Jericho

  598. Oh why don't we just camp right here

  599. Wow what a victory

  600. Wow did you see the walls come down

  601. Yeah yeah we

  602. Wow wasn't that something

  603. We took the city

  604. But you see that wasn't Caleb's motivation

  605. Caleb says I

  606. I got something far greater to claim

  607. I don't want the

  608. The stuff along the way

  609. Yeah they're victories and you're going to have victories

  610. You're going to have one victory

  611. Another victory you've had several victories

  612. But it isn't over until we

  613. Capture Hebron

  614. Because that's where

  615. God begins to do great

  616. And mighty things

  617. People are going to want to come here

  618. For refuge

  619. People

  620. Are going to come and enjoy

  621. The fruit

  622. The hope

  623. The ministry

  624. The worship

  625. Because that's what Hebron was

  626. And is to us spiritually

  627. How many want to go to Hebron

  628. You want to go to Hebron

  629. So Jacob

  630. Ten years ago we dedicated Jericho to you

  631. Today

  632. It's Hebron

  633. That's the next step

  634. And I know you've had a lot of victories

  635. And God has

  636. Brought people here

  637. In many ways

  638. Baptisms

  639. Restorations and whatnot

  640. And those are victories

  641. We celebrate those victories

  642. Had healings, you've had miracles

  643. So many things that happened in the last ten years

  644. But Hebron is the big one

  645. Because when you get there's a price to pay

  646. Yes, it's not for free

  647. But like Caleb said

  648. Those giants

  649. They're going down

  650. Because God already told me

  651. And Jacob said

  652. He's going to give you the money

  653. And Jacob

  654. I'm telling you

  655. Hebron

  656. Is yours for the taking

  657. Hebron

  658. Is city like future

  659. Because God is faithful to His promises

  660. When we lay claim on what's already ours

  661. This is the great revival

  662. That the Apostolic Assembly

  663. Is desiring

  664. And I told my wife just this morning

  665. I said, you know

  666. I would love to guide

  667. People, churches, bishops

  668. Into the greatest revival they have ever seen

  669. And I'm going to tell you

  670. That I'm going to tell you

  671. That I'm going to be part of the team

  672. I want to be part of that

  673. And I know I'm positioned in a place

  674. Where I could make a difference

  675. But I want to do more

  676. Because I've yet to see

  677. We're celebrating

  678. That's good

  679. But we're celebrating prematurely

  680. We stay there

  681. We don't move forward into the miraculous

  682. Into the operations of the supernatural

  683. And that's Hebron

  684. That's Hebron

  685. That's where I want to go

  686. And I know that's where city light

  687. Is going to experience

  688. Because Pastor Jacob Hebron

  689. Belongs to you

  690. God is granting you

  691. Access

  692. And not many days hence

  693. You're going to begin to experience things

  694. Huryala ma nisya la la ma hakai

  695. That you had only dreamed about experiencing

  696. You dream about them

  697. You want them so bad

  698. God is giving it to you now

  699. Step in faith

  700. Walk in faith

  701. Don't settle for the celebration

  702. You know, that's great

  703. We conquered this

  704. We got a victory here

  705. We got a victory here

  706. Go for Hebron

  707. It's a mountain

  708. It's treacherous

  709. It's dangerous

  710. It's rewarding

  711. And this is what

  712. God said to tell you

  713. Huryala ma nisya la ma hakai

  714. And I pray church

  715. That she will celebrate

  716. Hebron already

  717. You see because Caleb talked about it

  718. He dream about it

  719. Yeah, he was part of Jericho

  720. He's part of all of that

  721. But he says I'm not satisfied

  722. Until I can take Hebron

  723. But not everybody wants Hebron

  724. Not everybody desires it

  725. Because it gets stuck in the small celebrations

  726. Along the way

  727. They pitch tent there

  728. They make a home there

  729. But home

  730. Is Hebron

  731. Home is Hebron

  732. If I can only get to Hebron

  733. I will experience it

  734. I will experience it

  735. I will experience it

  736. I will experience the ultimate

  737. The miraculous

  738. And that doesn't stop there

  739. From there David

  740. Was the one that launched out to Jerusalem

  741. But he launched from Hebron

  742. To Jerusalem

  743. And that's another preaching

  744. That's another message right there man

  745. Telling wow

  746. But Hebron is a launching pad

  747. Hebron is a launching pad to the miraculous
