Hallelujah. Thank you, Pastor Jacob Rodriguez. What an awesome atmosphere.
-
In atmospheres like these, God sends signs, wonders, and miracles. They're
-
conducive for that. If you will continue the way you worship, these benches are
-
going to get full. People are going to come from the neighborhoods and feel
-
this power in their bodies, in their souls, and in their spirits. A worshiping
-
church is a signs and wonders church. And that brother that was I'm seeing, where is
-
he? Have you ever thought of going to Phoenix, brother? I'll put a good word
-
in for you. No, you do a magnificent job. You don't hold back. And you know what?
-
Never hold back. Never let anybody tell you to calm down. Come on, brother. Settle
-
down. Don't buy into that. You worship. You lead the congregation to worship and
-
praise. Because this stuff is contagious, man. And it's necessary. If out there, well
-
I'm gonna bring it down to where you guys live. If people will shout their lungs
-
out for the San Francisco Giants. I don't know about the Oakland A's. I
-
understand they're moving, right? Or they need to be moved? Or was that? And the
-
Golden State Warriors, well you know the Phoenix Suns are not in good shape either.
-
But if people can shout in a venue like that, for a home run, for a touchdown, for
-
a slam dunk. I'm so glad that we're not Swifties. Whatever Taylor Swift does,
-
that's her business, man. We're not here to exalt her. I don't care. She's rich.
-
But so what? So are we. We're rich in the Holy Ghost. The Rodriguez, Pastor Jacob
-
Rodriguez, his wonderful wife and family, and the rest of his family, they're
-
friends of ours. I have great admiration for the Rodriguez family, for Bishop. And
-
we were just with Brother Steve a while ago. We had a tremendous time there. Now
-
we're here. And I believe I have a word that will move your faith. Does anybody
-
here need a healing in their body? In their soul, in their spirit? You know
-
infirmities are not just physical. We're hearing a lot about mental health now,
-
right? A lot of people need a checkup from the neck up, man. I think I'll have a
-
t-shirt made on that. And they tell us about mental health and emotional health.
-
I'm not downgrading and downplaying that. But you know we have the solution. And
-
his name is Jesus. I said his name is Jesus. So let's get into the word. The
-
Gospel according to Mark chapter 2, Hallelujah. I just want to say that I
Mark 2 chapter mention
-
enjoyed myself immensely at the forward conference. Thank you, Pastor Jacob
-
Rodriguez for inviting me. Man, what a time. And you all have a tremendous
-
district choir. It's been a while since I heard a choir. Everybody's into praise
-
teams. I got nothing. We have praise teams back home too. But man, I was yearning
-
to hear a choir and we heard it. How many of you are part of that choir here?
-
Anybody? Back there? Okay. You sang a solo, right?
-
Beautiful. Mark chapter 2 starting with verse 1. And again he entered
Mark 2 chapter mention
-
Capernaum after some days. And it was heard that he was in the
-
house. Immediately many gathered together so that there was no longer room to
-
receive them. Not even near the door. And he preached the word to them. Then they
-
came to him bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could
-
not come near him because of the crowd, maybe if it would have been you and I,
-
we would have just said, oh well, hey, hey buddy, we tried. You know what? Some
-
other day. This obviously and apparently wasn't your day. We can come back. They
-
did something unusual, different, unconventional. And when they could not
-
come near him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was. So when
-
they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the
-
paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, that's crucial. And I'm gonna
-
say something in a little bit about that. About you bringing somebody to Jesus.
-
When he saw their faith, he said to the paralytic son, your sins are forgiven you.
-
Don't you know that Jesus has the authority to say whatever he wants? To
-
whomever he wants? Whenever he wants? But there's always gonna be religious
-
folks. I'm so glad they're not part of this crowd here. And some of the scribes
-
were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts. You know Jesus then and now, he
-
doesn't have to hear words coming out of your mouth. He'll go right into the heart
-
say, this is what you're thinking. No, I'm not. Yes you are. Why does this man
-
speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone? You know the
-
biggest one of the biggest hindrances to the move of God is religiosity and
-
churchianity. Right? We don't need that pastor Jacob. We need genuine people man.
-
Simple genuine people that are in love with Jesus and let Him have His way.
-
But immediately verse 8, but immediately when Jesus perceived in His spirit that
-
they reasoned thus with them themselves, he said to them, why do you reason about
-
these things in your hearts? Which is easier to say to the paralytic? Your
-
sins are forgiven you or to say arise take up your bed and walk. But that you
-
may know that the Son of Man, oh God, has power on earth for forgive sins. He said
-
to the paralytic, I say to you arise take up your bed and go to your house.
-
Immediately not ten minutes after, not an hour left, not a day later, not a week
-
after, not a month after. Well you know I don't think God is in the healing mood
-
today. So you know what? Just wait your turn. Come back some other day. No.
-
Immediately everybody say immediately. That's the kind of God we see. We serve
-
an immediate God and on time God. He's never early, He's never late, He's always
-
on time. That is to say His time. Immediately He arose, took up the bed and
-
went out in the presence of them all so that all were amazed and glorified God
-
saying we never saw anything like this. I want to just simply entitle this
-
message. Tear a hole in the roof. Tear a hole in the roof. You may be seated. This
-
is a fact that I'm going to share with you right now. Whenever you decide to get
-
close to Jesus for a miracle, for a healing, obstacles are gonna come.
-
Your way. Satan is one of the tricksters, deceivers that will try to block your
-
blessing. Religious folks will try to do it too. Come on cuz, cuz no one's ever
-
been healed of that disease. You know genetics. You know it runs in the family.
-
So you know just accept it. Go to the doctor, get the prescribed medication and
-
just live with it. Ever heard that from family members, co-workers, neighbors and
-
even people in the church pastor? You know? But there are obstacles that can
-
present themselves. And we read where they were carrying this friend. Now the
-
Lord doesn't mention any names and you know what? That's not important. The
-
important thing was these friends saw their friend in that condition and they
-
said we're gonna take them to Jesus. And so they did. The obstacle was the house
-
was full. Nobody could get in. So the natural reaction of man is we tried.
-
Maybe some other day. Today wasn't your day. But hang in there. We'll come back
-
next week if Jesus is around. But how many of you know that Jesus is an on-time
-
God? That He doesn't work from agendas. He doesn't say wow April the 28th? God.
-
Gabriel? Michael? Time flies huh? When you're having fun. He doesn't talk like
-
that. He doesn't live in those kind of human dimensions. He can heal on the
-
spur of a moment. He can heal people in crowds or He can heal a person all by
-
themselves. He's Jesus. He's omnipotent which means He has all the power. He's
-
omniscient which means He knows all things. And He's omnipresent. He's
-
everywhere. He's just not relegated to a certain area. You know what? I can only
-
work in certain cities. That's how I see in the Lord working farming communities.
-
In ghettos. I was preaching in Mexico and some lady came in who had a punctured
-
eardrum. And she walked into the service and God healed her. You know what she did?
-
She grabbed my pant leg because I was preaching about the woman with an
-
issue of blood. Boom! She was immediately healed. God can do those things.
-
Nothing, absolutely nothing can hinder the power of God. And in 2024 He's still a
-
healing God. He is still a miracle working God. Just the other day we were
-
having a district activity at our church. It was a pre-camp service for youth camp
-
and junior camp. And a couple came up to me at the end of the service. He goes,
-
Brother Romo, can we talk to you? I go, sure. I said, do I know you? She goes, yeah.
-
We're from such and such a church. Okay. She goes, last year, two years ago, you
-
prophesied that I would have a child. Well, I did. You see, I'm not the kind of
-
person that writes everything down. He goes, you know, on such and such a day,
-
look at, we did this, this happened. I'm not that kind of a guy. People remind me,
-
okay, all right, wonderful. Do God be the glory? And we move on. Because it's never
-
about us. One day the Lord rebuked me, Pastor Jacob. In my office I had plaques,
-
you know, camper of the year and this and that. And all kind of other trophies. I'd
-
look at that, he goes, man, look at that. And the Holy Ghost spoke to me, he goes,
-
you're impressed by that, huh? Take him down and throw him in the trash. I go, I
-
thought, is that God or Satan? No, God says, it's me. And I took him down and I
-
threw him in the trash. The Lord says, I don't want you to ever get the glory for
-
anything. If I'm gonna use you, there's times when nobody's gonna know. And the
-
Father that sees you in secret shall reward you openly. I don't like to go
-
around saying, you know what, in such and such a service, 300 people got the Holy
-
Ghost, you know, 20 miracles. Because if we're not careful, we'll start attributing
-
things to ourselves. It's because I was there. The anointed one showed up. And the
-
Lord says, really, Frank Romo, you would be nothing if it wasn't for me. As a
-
matter of fact, you are nothing beside me. And so these men can't get through the
-
door. There's a crowd. But then they got an idea. And said, you know what, let's
-
climb this building and go and tear a hole in the roof. So you could see dust. I
-
don't know what kind of roofs they had there. In those days, they weren't like
-
ours. Obviously, they made a hole in the roof. Because the
-
circumstances said, you can't get in there. There won't be a healing for your
-
friend because you can't get through the door. So they tore, made a hole in the
-
roof. They tore it. And they lowered their friend. And he received his miracle
-
that day. I want to say this. Maybe your friend is not gonna get to Jesus until
-
you bring him or bring her. What do you say we forget about ourselves? Who we are,
-
what our name is, what our last name is. And let's just bring people to Jesus.
-
There's a reason why these guys were anonymous. Because all they wanted was a
-
miracle for their friend. In this hour, let's win the lost and give Jesus the
-
credit. Let's bring them to church and say, Lord, here they are. You do the rest.
-
Because it's not about you. It's not about me. It's all about Jesus. Their friend
-
is bedridden. He can't walk. And they said, you know what? Let's tear a hole in
-
the roof. And let's bring them into the presence of Jesus. Jesus was moved and
-
stirred by that. Act of faith. Because the Bible says, he saw their faith. That's
-
how that's important. That the Lord sees our faith to work miracles, signs, and
-
wonders. Hallelujah. I was sharing with the church previously how the Lord
-
healed me from a blood clot in my leg. A PE, the doctors call it, a pulmonary
-
embolism that traveled from my leg, right, leg to my lungs and subsequently
-
produced cardiac arrest. I flatlined three times in the hospital. I hear,
-
because I was unconscious, one of the doctors wanted to declare me dead. That
-
happened in the span of half an hour. But God.
-
And after the Lord brought me back, one of the doctors comes. You know, Mr. Romo,
-
that it was us that lifted you from death. I go, doc, with all due respect to your
-
profession and your years of schooling and study and the doctor in front of your
-
name. It really wasn't you. Then who was it? Oh, here's a moment. I'm laying in
-
bed. I'm weak, but I mustered up enough strength to tell him it was Jesus that
-
brought me back from the dead. It wasn't you. And then he goes, well, okay, if you
-
want to believe that I do. And here's the proof. I'm alive. Because they told my
-
wife when I was in that state, they told my wife, your husband may not ever walk
-
again. He may never be able to think straight. He'll never be the same man,
-
Mrs. Romo. This thing has taken the toll on him. Oh, here's another one. He may not
-
be able to talk. You should hear me, man. I talk more than ever. Because I've got a
-
story to tell. You think I'm gonna hold back? I'll tell anybody. I'll go to Starbucks
-
and I'll tell. You want to hear a story? She goes, sure. And I tell him, what?
-
You're alive? What do you think? You look alive to me. There you go. I've shared
-
that story at Starbucks at Circle K. You have Circle K's over here? I have a few.
-
I've shared them in restaurants because it's real. Jesus did it. So to speak, we
-
made a hole in the roof. What was impossible for men was made possible by
-
God. I don't know what condition you came in today. I don't know about the
-
diagnosis that the doctor has given you. But I'm here to tell you he's a healer.
-
And if you will, so to speak, tear a hole in your roof and get to Jesus, you will
-
receive your miracle. Does anybody believe that? Yeah, I believe it. But
-
genetics says a different story. Because it runs in the family. So you tear a hole
-
in the roof and say, you know what? I don't care about my family history. I'm
-
going to Jesus and he's gonna heal me. I won't need medication. I will not need
-
therapy. He's gonna make me whole.
-
Because that's what he did to me. I walked out of that hospital. Yeah, I was
-
weak with a walker. But then they, the nurses gave me a hand clap and the doctors.
-
There's Mr. Romo, the walking miracle.
-
I go, thanks. I don't plan to come back here.
-
Who wants to be in the hospital, bro? Well, the food is good. That's what you think.
-
The treatment is good. Yeah, they're poking you at three in the morning and
-
getting your vitals. Who wants to go through that? I walked out of there and
-
my beautiful wife took care of me for three months. I became a member of the
-
online congregation. The good thing about that pastor, I didn't have to dress up.
-
I sat in front of my computer with my pajamas and my cup of coffee. I said,
-
this isn't bad. I'm getting used to this. I like this. Three months of that and God
-
was preparing Anthony to be the next pastor without him even realizing it
-
knowing it. But the day came when I went back to church, oh man, the brothers were
-
going crazy when they saw me because I was supposed to die. But we tore a hole
-
in the roof. I have a kidney doctor, Dr. Musa. He's an Arab, probably a Muslim.
-
I had to go after I got out of the hospital. I had to go like two weeks
-
later to see him. When I walk in with my walker, he tells the staff, stop what
-
you're doing. All of you stop. Let me present to you, Mr. Frank Romo, the
-
walking miracle. But then watch this. He comes up to me, hugs me, kisses me on the
-
cheek. And this is coming from an Arab. He says, God's not done with you yet.
-
I felt like the Holy Ghost had just spoken to me through him. You see, don't
-
worry about the circumstances. He wasn't apostolic. In moments like that, who
-
cares? If he was a Baptist or a Presbyterian, I wouldn't mind just as long as
-
he, those words hit my spirit. Ooh, am I gonna get in trouble for saying that?
-
Well, whoever's watching YouTube and I'm not taking anything back. Now I'm alive.
-
What do I care about somebody's criticism? And he's still my doctor. I love him. We're
-
friends. When he looks at me, he goes, Oh God, he goes, Mr. Romo, you're my hero, he
-
says. I talk about you to my family and to everybody because you're a walking
-
miracle. Tear a hole in the roof. Get your healing today. Get your miracle
-
today. What you need from Jesus, get it today. Well, we got to invite somebody,
-
Pastor Jacob Rodriguez, that has the gift of healing. Really? Jesus is the healer.
-
It's not the man. Jesus can heal on any day of the week.
-
It doesn't even have to be a service. You can walk out there in the lobby. He can
-
heal you in your car, on your way home. But you got to tear a hole in the roof.
-
Because obstacles will come. They present themselves. And you got to go beyond
-
those obstacles like these four friends did. They lowered him and Jesus healed
-
him. Well, the religious skeptics and scribes were their Satan to criticize. You
-
know, don't listen to those people. Are there still scribes? I think so. I think
-
they, some of them even congregate in our churches. Just saying. They're very
-
analytical. You know, in my time, you had to annoying people with oil and you
-
lead me to lay hands. I'm not against that. I'm for that. I remember Netamana, who
-
got sick at home and she didn't have oil from Israel shipped in. She didn't have
-
olive oil. She got some oil that she cooking oil. And she anointed herself with
-
it and she was healed. I don't believe that. I don't care. I saw it with my own
-
eyes. But we're stuck with detail sometimes. There was a time when we would
-
have miracle Sunday and we would anoint prayer
-
clause and disperse them in the congregation. When Netamana, her husband
-
wanted nothing to do with us. He goes, I'm a Jehovah's Witness. I'm not an
-
apostolic. She comes crying to me. What do I do pastor? And then I got this idea.
-
Why don't you put one of those anointed prayer clause underneath his pillow and
-
watch what happens. She did. You know what happened to that gentleman? He had a
-
nightmare that he was going straight to the pit of hell and he could hear the
-
screams of people in hell. So he gets it because you have Pastor Romans and phone
-
number. I need to call him and he calls me. He says, I've been criticizing you for
-
a long time. I haven't believed in your ministry and what you stand for. But I
-
got a dream man and that dreams haunting me. I go, what are you gonna do
-
about it? Because I want you to baptize me in the name of Jesus.
-
However God's gonna heal is not so much the importance is that he does it. My
-
sister Alice who passed away last year, she had had three strokes but prior to
-
that when my sister, before she was baptized, the men of God anointed a
-
prayer cloth because the doctor said to my parents, we can't find what's causing
-
her sickness. She's probably gonna die. So my parents talked to some men of God,
-
apostolic. They anointed a prayer cloth. Just lay it on your daughter. They came
-
home. They laid that anointed prayer cloth on my sister Alice and she was
-
instantaneously healed. The following week she was baptized in the name of Jesus.
-
Now I'm not saying with that, let's get on this prayer cloth journey. But God can
-
use anything and He can use anybody. Praise God. There's another Hermana who
-
was burning up with fever and her little boy came in, laid his hand on her and
-
she was instantly healed. A little boy. You never know. You can never predict how
-
God's gonna do it but He can choose whatever vessel He wants to perform the
-
miracle. Hallelujah. I have prayed for women that cannot have children and I've
-
seen them bear children. They send me the pictures. I was preaching in Tijuana. I
-
think I shared this at Forward Conference. I was preaching in Tijuana for
-
Richard Velos. How many of you know him, don't you? Pastor Richard Velos. And I took
-
the pulpit and I looked at his wife and it said, sister, you've had two miscarriages.
-
I didn't even know. But these children that you're gonna have, they're not gonna
-
die. And then I thought to myself, children, plural? Okay, we'll go with that and see
-
what happens. So I leave Tijuana and I head back. About a month later, Pastor
-
Richard Velos calls me. My wife's pregnant. Oh really? And Bishop, he goes, you're not
-
gonna believe it. I know you're gonna believe it. She's pregnant with twins. Then
-
it hit me. No wonder I said children, plural. When those boys were born, I went
-
back to Tijuana to dedicate them. Today they are about approximately 13 to 14
-
years old. We serve a miracle worker. I've seen a lot of people healed, Pastor, of
-
acid reflux disease. Is there anybody here that has acid reflux? I prayed for a
-
man that had acid reflux. God healed him and then he goes to the comedor and
-
orders a red chili burro. I said, brother, slow down, man. Slow down. Why you
-
said? Okay. Acid reflux disease. You just can't eat certain foods. It provokes the
-
acids and all of that. I'm not a doctor, so I don't know. But I've seen people
-
healed of that. Sists. I prayed for a woman in Yuma, in the Yuma church, that had
-
12 sists in her breasts. When I laid my hand on her, she felt a burning sensation
-
and what it was that the Lord was burning those sists right out of her. She
-
was healed. The Lord spoke to me years ago and told me, whenever
-
you're praying for diabetes, don't pray for the diabetes. Speak to the pancreas.
-
That it would produce insulin. I've done that and I go to check up on these people
-
again and they're healed. The pancreas began to produce insulin again.
-
Hallelujah. I feel the Holy Ghost. I feel like somebody's gonna tear a hole in
-
the roof. I was preaching one time for Bishop Hoyer and Fresno and I don't want
-
to really sound graphic, but I got to share this. A brother came in with
-
kidney stones, real bad ones. And he could barely walk into the sanctuary and
-
he comes up to me and goes, Bishop, I might have to leave. I go, why? I have kidney
-
stones. You know what the Lord told me to tell him? Go and urinate those stones
-
out. On his way to the restroom, those stones turned into sand and he just
-
passed them. He comes running and not walking. He came running and dancing.
-
I'm healed. I'm healed. Anybody here dealing with kidney stones? God can heal them.
-
Oh God. Anybody here with cysts? I pray for women that have cysts and they're
-
uterus and they've disappeared. Tumors. I prayed for a lady one time that said
-
she had the beginning stages of leukemia. So I went up to her, laid my hand
-
close my eyes and the Lord gave me a vision of her bloodstream as he was
-
cleansing it. I saw white blood vessels and I saw red blood vessels brand new.
-
She was healed that day. I was preaching in Stockton and the Lord healed a man
-
that was going deaf and it was affecting his speech too. God healed him. In that
-
same service, a brother comes up. He could barely walk. He had this special
-
girdle. When I prayed for him, the thing went boom and flew off of him. I grabbed
-
them by the hand and we started running aisles in that sanctuary. I was in Texas
-
a couple of years ago in a small church. They're brightening a brother in a
-
wheelchair. I'm preaching. I go, brother, how long have you been in that wheelchair?
-
He goes, eight years. Do you want to walk? You ask somebody like that's the obvious.
-
But sometimes it's the only way to inject faith. He goes, yes, well then get up, he
-
gets up and he starts walking. That little church went wild, man. I didn't have to
-
preach after that. It's here. It's here. Healing is here. We just got to tear a
-
hole in the roof. You have obstacles that you're up against. Your flesh is
-
telling you it's not going to happen. Satan is telling you it's never going to
-
happen. But I hear the voice of the Lord that says tear a hole in the roof and I'll
-
make it happen. Can you imagine the woman with the issue of blood who touched
-
the hem? Now was the hem up here? No. Was it at the waist? No. It was almost towards
-
the feet of Jesus. This woman had to grovel. She had to crawl. She was probably
-
kicked around by the curious folks. But she says, you know what? I just got to get
-
to Jesus. It doesn't matter what you have to go through. Just get to Jesus. Well,
-
you know, your tia might say, no, I mean, huh? You know, I went through the same thing
-
and nothing happened. Well, tia, I love you and respect you, but I'm going to tear
-
a hole in the roof. I'm going to get to Jesus because I need a miracle. This woman
-
touches the hem of his garment, right? You've read that story over and over and
-
she stops Jesus in his tracks. He's walking and goes, hey, who touched me? And
-
the disciples go, little master, come on. It's got to be a joke, right? All these
-
people around you and you're asking, it goes, somebody touch me because I felt
-
virtue. Oh, Rabakaya Maschanda. I felt virtue come out of my body. And what
-
about Lazarus? Jesus deliberately waited for Lazarus to die. And then he says to
-
his disciples, let's go wake up our buddy. Well, if he's sleeping, Lord, let him
-
sleep. No, no, no, no, guys, you don't understand. He's dead. Oh, and I'm happy
-
that I wasn't there because of the rest of y'all. So he shows up. And when Jesus
-
shows up, he shows out and he shows off.
-
And where is he? Master, he's been dead for four days. He's already decomposing.
-
He stinks. And the Lord went to his tomb. And you know the story. He resurrected
-
him. I love the additional stuff you shared. I was powerful at Forward
-
Conference. I'm going to close, but we're going to pray. I've also prayed for
-
people that are standing proxy for others in another country, in another state, in
-
another city. And God has done a miracle over there. I prayed for a sister in the
-
first church that I pastored who had her mother in a coma in Ciudad Juarez
-
Chihuahua. She had been in a coma for several days. And I prayed for her. Then
-
afterwards, the Lord told me to tell her, have her call her mother. So she called.
-
And they were all excited. You're not gonna believe this, miha. Your mom got up.
-
She came out of her coma asking for tortillas, joles, and chile. You can ask
-
whatever you want, man. But she came out of a coma.
-
Hallelujah. How many of you need to tear a hole in the roof? And there's obstacles
-
that have kept you from your miracle and your healing. Would you stand with me? I
-
didn't mean to take this much time, but that's when I get my point across. And I've
-
shared these miracles just to build your faith, not to show off. That I'm not that
-
kind of a person. I want God to heal you. I want God to do that miracle that's
-
yours. But you've got to tear a hole in the roof. Come on. It's not gonna be that
-
easy. It's gonna cost you. It's gonna cost you dealing with your flesh, with your
-
mindset, people's opinions, and with all due respect, even doctors diagnosis. If
-
you need a healing miracle, I want you to make your way up here. Or if you want to
-
stand proxy for somebody, you can do that too.
